The text that Trump put out, really insulting, Tucker Carlson, and Candace Owens, and Alex Jay Jones. Am I leaving anybody out? No, I think that was it. I mean, he basically called him. Alex Jay Jones, Tucker Carlson. Candace Owens. There was a fourth. Yeah. And low IQ and all this kind of jazz. Yeah, like they're stupid and their parents know they're stupid. All right. So I read the quote, I read the what, true social. Now start, give me your reaction to the whole thing because it bothers me. And I want to hear what your take is. Well, you know, it's one thing to attack your actual enemies. These are people that were helpful to Trump in getting elected. They were helpful to him in managing. Not managing, but they have been very steadfast in their dedication to the issues that are in the America First Agenda. But Candace Owens, when talking about...

Charlie Kirk was killed. She kind of went off on a different tangent. And since that time, she's kind of, I guess, become disillusioned with Trump and said some things that were inappropriate. I'm not sure exactly what those were. Wait a minute. I thought of the fourth one. The fourth one is Megyn Kelly. Oh, yeah. Megyn Kelly, right, right. You know, and Alex Jay Jones apparently made some comments recently about how Trump has gone, and he's talking about this whole thing with Israel and all that. And then you've got Tucker Carlson, who is, who is talking about what's happening in Gaza, talking about what's happening in how we got into this war and things like that. And, you know, the Israelis are losing their minds. And so they're being extremely critical of him, and now Trump comes out with his post. And the problem with the post is that it really is dividing the coalition. that got Trump into office and that backs this American agenda. And we need that coalition to be steadfast and united heading into these midterms and even just trying to force the Republicans, these traders in Congress, to execute the mission we sent them there for. And so I just found it counterproductive. I think it's adding a little bit of pressure to this split. And there are very, very powerful forces in the world that want that coalition crushed. because obviously they want to be able to rule the United States, steal all the money, use our military for their own purposes, whomever those forces might be. You know, let's call them the globalists, right? So I think this was a really poorly conceived and poorly executed messaging effort on Trump's part. This would have been one better to skip. And truth be told, I'm not often offended by his posts. The thing he posted on Easter didn't bother me. You know, when he talked about ending a civil, look, we're war. Doesn't bother me. And when I look at the sort of silly conversation that the silly points made by all the presidents before him as they lied to us about everything and then got us into wars. You know, I don't think it's presidential to lie to us about why we're going into war as George Bush did and then take us into war for 10 or 20 years. That's somehow not more presidential than posting mean tweets about your opponents. But this thing with, you know, with Marjorie Taylor Greene, with Thomas Massie, with these others. I want to see this kind of effort being driven toward attacking Democrats. The radicals that have been in Congress for 20 years like Jamie Raskin, who just work every day to destroy this nation. That's who I want to see attack. Who says he wants to see Trump examined by the White House doctor immediately? Never said a word about Biden, though. Exactly. Exactly. I mean, it's silly. You know, this had him checked out by the White House doctor. It's just silliness. So I know that Trump is bombastic. I know that he is aggressive. I know that he goes after his opponents more, you know, hard, very hard. Let's go after Democrats. Why don't we drive some of the people that vote always with the radical left that wants to destroy the country? Let's drive them out of Congress. Not another Marjorie Taylor Greene or Thomas Massie because they simply got off sides with APEC.

So that's just, you know, that's the point. And I think it was just, it was really disappointing. And I think it's important that everybody that is focused on the American agenda, stay on the agenda. Let's try not to be so sensitive that we're constantly offended. But let's talk about the real issues like, how do we get in this war and where are we going from here. And, you know, those discussions should always be on the table. And, of course, they are in the discussions that we have. You know, I'm hopeful that Trump can flip a switch and become the unifier again, the unifier that created the coalition that swept seven. swing states that swept the popular vote in the electoral college. That's what we need him to do here in the next... But he's not... He's not helping that by... When I read that, I thought, here was Tucker Carlson on stage helping you get elected, and here was a big supporter in Megyn Kelly. It's okay in the United States of America. to agree with the majority of what you do and to disagree with a thing or two. That is very American. Why are you attacking him for that? You follow me? I mean, you're attacking my point. You're attacking your base. That's right. You know, if they disagree, hey, they disagree. It's okay. They're not going to work to undermine the country. You know, Adam Schiff, on the other hand, it was dedicated to destroying this country. How about we go after him? Right. Yeah. I mean, it's so damn troubling. It doesn't help things. when that happens. And why aren't we talking more about the Democrats that say if you want to do the bombing, you're a warmonger, and if you want to do the ceasefire, you're a taco. You know, Trump always chickens out. Right. I mean, so they want to have it either way. I mean, why don't we start talking about that? Why do we start talking about the Democrats that say they want the 25th Amendment or the White House doctor to look at Trump when they were totally silent when it comes to Biden? When are we going to start addressing this, this kind of stuff? And when are the elected officials and appointed officials who facilitated the $20 billion Somali fraud in Minnesota? When are they going to jail? I mean, they knew. This is just such a waste of energy, and it's so divisive. I just wish he wouldn't do it. Switching gears just a moment, this thing with Maria Salazar. I don't know if you follow this closely, but in the... I have not so explained it to our listeners when you say this thing. Okay, so in the fever of the Iran war focus, Maria Salazar, a fake Republican from Florida, slips into Congress.

this thing they call the Dignidad bill, which means dignity. She's actually named the bill in Spanish because she doesn't represent Americans. She represents citizens of foreign countries, and her goal is to provide them under the false term dignity, to provide them with the ability to stay in the United States and eventually become citizens. And she says that. So in this bill, it doesn't give every one of them, some of them, but not all of them a path to citizenship. She openly says, we'll do this to get him to stay here, and then we'll do another bill later that we'll get them to be citizens. Now, why is this woman obsessed with representing citizens of foreign countries what she's supposed to be representing Americans? And herein lies our core problem. The American people have no representation in Congress. Otherwise, the SAVE Act would have passed two months ago. Otherwise, we would have had cost cutting. Otherwise, we would have had reinforcements of the Fourth Amendment 10 years ago. Why can't we have the kind of enthusiastic representation in Congress that illegal aliens and drug cartels get? Why can't we have the same enthusiast or representative that Israel gets? Why? Why doesn't Ted Cruz just step aside from his current agenda and get back to the American First agenda and fight like a demon to get that through? Fight like a man possessed. to get our agenda through. It is infuriating to me that Salazar hiding under the obsession with the Iran War, which is obviously an important issue, she slits this Dignity Act in, and here's the logic, if you are a citizen of a foreign country and you came to the United States illegally, but you haven't raped anybody, and you claim to have been here five years, there's no way for us to know, but you claim to have been here for more than five years because she thinks, By saying five years, she's tricking us into thinking that no one who came under Biden is going to get this, and somehow that makes a difference because she thinks we're idiots. But if you didn't rape anybody and you've hidden here for more than five years working illegally, then we want to make sure you get to stay forever because, hey, you didn't rape anybody. This is insanity. They're citizens of foreign nations. Her job is to represent us, not them, and they need to go home. We want them to go home. The country needs them to go home. Now, she says in one section of the bill, that it's likely, or the estimate she is, it's likely to be 11 or 12 million people, 10 to 12 million people. They've been lying to us about the number of illegal aliens in this country for decades. They told us 11 million people year after year, letting millions and millions and millions more in. It's not 11 million people. It's more like 35. You know, we've got maybe 10% of the country, citizens of foreign nations, hiding illegally in the United States, working illegally in the United States, and this woman is compelled to represent them. It's infuriating. Now, there's some, I don't think there's any congressman from Ohio that I can remember that has signed on to be a co-sponsor in Pennsylvania. I think there are three. One is the fraud Mike Kelly and Erie. And I call him a fraud because Mike Kelly campaign as an American-first conservative Republican. Obviously, he's not if his mission now is to represent the interests of foreign nationals and not U.S. citizens.

I truly don't understand this obsession with making everyone in every country anywhere become a U.S. citizen. You know, even if they are able to stay here legally, what is the logic of giving them the golden ticket, especially if they came here illegally? You should never get it. The dreamers, they don't need to be citizens. If we can't drive them home, then let them, if they have to stay, that's what you tell me, there's no way we can send these people home, these dreamers, right? These people have claimed to have been here so many years and whatnot. Okay, fine. Why do they get to be citizens? No, the answer is no, they should not be citizens here any more than they would be in Switzerland or Japan. So I think that Salazar should be removed from office and replaced with an American, somebody who represents the American people, somebody who isn't dedicated to foreign nationals. I think that this bill should be crushed. But I'm very concerned because it's got this bipartisan report and, you know, or support. And bipartisan means uniparty. It means the donors who want low-cost labor are behind it. Now, she lies to us and says, well, the economy needs them. You know, it's the old who's going to pick our grapefruit? No, not true. You know what the economy needs? The economy needs the seven million unemployed Americans. to get the skills that they need to fill the jobs that are in front of us right now. That's what we need. And this nonsense about H-1Bs being used to replace Americans and mass migration used to drive wages down, enough already. So Salazar ought to move to the country that she's representing, wherever that is. Mike Kelly should be removed from office and replaced with a conservative America first Republican. I think the other one's named Smucker, and the third one's named Fitzpatrick from Pennsylvania. There's one in New York named Mike Lawler. He was just on television the other night lying about the bill, misrepresenting its contents. Laura Ingram called it out on that. But just think about what these people are doing. They're using the distraction of Iran to try to undermine the American people. providing permanent residency to illegal aliens, citizens of foreign nations hiding here illegally, so that they can then later pass another bill and make them citizens. It's treason. Mike Kelly and Erie is committing treason. And this has to be stopped. Now, I don't know that the Senate has enough Republicans who are actually pro-American to do this. And I am truly frustrated with this. This refusal of Congress to represent the American people. They represent Ukraine. They love to fight for them. They like to represent Israel, of course. They like to represent the interests of Europe as they spend billions and billions and billions of dollars over there. They represent the interests of everybody but us. You know what they represent to us? They represent to us the opportunity for them to steal more of our money. So this has to change. Now, of course, the only people with the power to change that are the American citizens, you've got 30% of them that are sort of aligned with the globalists and any oppressor that comes along. You have about 70% that aren't, but of those, probably only 20% really understand what's going on. But when you're fake conservative, fake Republican Salazar, Mike Kelly, and Mike Lawler are pushing this.

this bill to help out citizens of foreign countries at the expense of Americans, I think it's time for the people to move them on, get them out of Congress, and let's get somebody there who will actually represent the American people. And by the way, Ted Cruz, why don't you start to? Why don't you get on board with the agenda that you champion for years and have done nothing to advance since Trump took office? Because who would be harmed by that? China, you know, Russia. But who else would be? harmed by that would be the people that hold our national debt. We would have them forced to be buying our stuff. You know, they bombed a thousand or 10,000 targets. They've destroyed the military capability of Iran, which was already limited in their ability to project power externally, as we talked about many times over the last 12 months or so. The only way he loses this war is to deploy ground forces and lose Americans and spend another, you know, $20 trillion. So he can't really lose the war. Now, Israel can lose the war because their mission is to get this regime out of there and replace it with something they like. That's probably unlikely. So I don't think they're going to win their goals. But on the issue of shutting down the straight permanently, look. You know, we're in such a jam now. There is a pipeline that goes east or west within Saudi Arabia. That was attacked, and they blew up a valve there. That is now a dead pipeline. You've got no oil moving over to the Red Sea from Saudi. You've got refineries being shut down and blown up and burned around, you know, say Western civilization, let's say, you know, like the one, the Valero one and some others. The thing that happened down in Panama, they burned up those tanks and melted a bridge. There is an attack on our oil and gas infrastructure. Devin Gavin Newsom is closing refinery capacity right now in California, harming his state and all the states around him. So the enemies of this country, including Gavin Newsom, are attacking infrastructure. This is a problem that has to be addressed. We can't afford to leave that straight closed because we buy oil on a national market and no one else can get it open. So I'm hopeful that these negotiations, now that JD Vance is involved, can move forward. I was not particularly comfortable with the idea of Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff handling this by themselves. But with JD Vance there, I think we've got about as good a chance as we can get of getting an outcome where oil begins to flow again through the Strait of Hormuz. I hope the Saudis known just fixed that valve. I hope they create another pipeline that goes north and maybe even one that goes south. so they can never again be held hostage to the straight of Hormuz. So, you know, we need this energy situation fixed and we need whatever it is that's destroying all these refinery capacities around the world to stop. All right. Got. I know that she's been asking a lot of questions about Charlie Kirk's murder, and frankly, so have I. It doesn't make sense. Well, no, and then I agree, but I guess my point is, I mean, I don't hold Candace Owens to any kind of, you know, like she's just this great, great, you know, orator, you know, of truth.

And it kind of disgust me the things she's been doing. I mean, like there's the whole Drewski thing. All right. I don't have a lot of time, so do you have a question real quick? Well, I mean, I guess I'd just be careful who you get in bed with. All right. All right, thanks. Comments? I've never been in bed with Candace Owens. You're not worried about it. No, I'm in a safe distance. But look, I heard this name Drusky today. I don't know what that means. And I don't follow Candiceone, I don't know what she's saying. I will say that this whole scenario around Charlie Kirk getting slaughter getting murdered is very strange and should be investigated and hasn't been. I don't know how we arrived at the idea that it was an open-and-shut case with this kid, the furry friend who did it. That makes no sense to me. Maybe that's the case, but they're going to have to really produce some compelling evidence to make me think that it wasn't some bigger plot. This guy had huge influence. You know, we're talking about... Two billion hits a year on social media. He would have seen in the 90 days after his, you know, he did, they killed him on his first day of his 2026 cycle work. He would have seen 30,000 kids by the end of October. I mean, this doesn't make sense to me. All right. With G2, you're on ear. You've been in a long. Well, G2, you're on ear. Hello, G2 and Ron. Welcome back to the Bet365, Guardian's warm-up show. Time for our weekly farm report with Vice President of Player Development, Stephen Osterer, and we hone in on AA Akron as their roster set. The season is underway, and a player that we saw a lot of in Major League Spring training. Extremely impressive was first baseman Ralphie Velasquez, and Oste explains why there is so much optimism surrounding Velasquez. as he begins this season. I would say it started in the second half-ish of last year, but overall in the year, I think he was our best minor league hitter, and arguably one of the best hitters in all minor league baseball last year as one of the youngest as well in double-A. He's just an incredibly well-rounded hitter. He's going to have great at bats. He's a good approach, and then he'll just uncork of baseball to 150 knots an hour. I think we also believe in to be a solid Major League First Basement, if not above average, in the future. And he just continues to grow across the board. And yeah, he had an incredible camp. Everyone's really excited about him. There's a lot of conversation about what's the appropriate level for him to start at. Just because of how advanced the bat is and how much he's grown, honestly, as a person and professionally, and ultimately we lean towards Akron. I think we believe being in the same spot in the lineup every single day, knowing where you're playing, having a bit of consistency to start the year is going to allow him to cement a lot of things and maybe given the best development velocity, I would say, for the course of the entire year. I mean, he's just a special player. He's a special young man, and I'll say where he starts is probably not where he's going to end. So we're just, yeah, I mean, there's so much we can say about Ralphie and how excited we are about him, but it's going to be a really good year for him. Another really impressive young player, Anheil Hanao. I know he had some injury issues to overcome a year ago, but, boy, it sure seems like he's fully healthy and ready to put together a big season and continue progressing. Yeah, the 40-man ad this off-season he was incredibly excited about. He got just 85 games last year in Akron because of the injury. But, yeah, I think there was a lot of good in those 85 games. But, you know, you went through a bit of an up and down, and that can be challenging when you're trying to get back and have spring training basically in the middle of the year. But there's so much talent in there. And I was really determined heading into the offseason to make physical improvements, continue to get bigger, stronger, faster, find consistency from both sides of the plate. And he had a nice little stint in winter ball that he came back and he was raving about how much he learned from some major league players there about the attention to detail and what he can do day to day to just be more consistent out on the field. And I think he carried that over into big league camp, and a lot of people saw that. He looked really smooth and more consistent in his approach at shortstop. And we're hoping he can be an everyday shortstop for us at the big league level. And he's going to do that in Akron to start.

Similar to Ralphie. It's a great place to lock in, know where you're playing, and where you're going to be batting every single day. And, yeah, I think, again, similar to a number of these guys, we just are incredibly excited about where they showed up, the work they did this off season. And Hannao is a really, really talented young player. And it's similar to Ralphie. Like, we're just, sky's the limit. Go play. I'm excited to see him continue to get better. Let's move to the outfield and, again, more players that we saw in Major League camp, which has been awesome. Alfoncine Rosario, I know when you acquired him, power was the big tool that stood out, and how has that developed along with the rest of it to make him a real good quality hitter? Yeah, he's a gifted physical athlete, and you can see that. When he walks around, he's a... big strong guy and he had a really nice year for us last year so the raw tools are there in the outfield at the plate and he throws the ball really hard got great arm strength he can run he's fast he gets the ball for power to your point and similar it's just it's just trying to piece all of those little things together to have consistency so he's still 22 years old he's really young he was young last year in akron and You got a little bit of the exposure to better pitching and better secondaries. And, you know, it's about trying to make adjustments to those things. And we saw some of the swing decisions get better last year, saw, you know, the whiff kind of go up a little bit in Akron. And, you know, he just continues to work on, you know, figuring out how to pull that down. So. Yeah, similar to these guys who got the experience in Major League camp, Rosie got some time. And it was really cool hearing him reflect on his experiences being around guys like Jose and what they learned and how to be a professional. And I think similar, again, it's just a broken record at this point. But like seeing that and then trying to put that in practice, I think allows all of them to be more consistent long term. So Rosie is one of those guys just. It's going to click at some point. We don't know exactly when, but his work is going to be really good to get to that point. Some similarities with Wilfredo Antunias or different player in a lot of ways. I would say he's probably a little bit of a different player and definitely a different trajectory, I think, for us. So Antunias is someone we resigned. He was a minor league free agent. We really wanted him back in our system. He came in in 2019. It was not like a heralded international prospect. He came out of Venezuela. He's just been a really good hitter the entire time. You know, he popped a little bit more last year with, you know, hitting a little bit more home runs, push his way into AA and, you know, dominated Lake County. So.

Antunias is maybe a little bit more well-rounded. He has some pop. He can play the outfield. He had a nice home run in the spring breakout game that was pretty fun to watch. But, yeah, he's, I mean, we have a lot of left-handed hitting outfielders in our system. I think we resigned him because we think Antunias has a good chance of hitting his way to the major leagues for us. Let's go behind the plate. Jacob Kosar will be your front-line catcher with Akron. A coach's son, do you see that in his game as he's developing here? I think so. He's a catcher in the best way. So I know we talked about it a lot last year and how he's the guy that everyone wants to throw to and you ask him about his time in Big League camp. And he talks for 15 minutes about how everything he learned watching Bo and Hedgey and Fry go about their days and how they set the culture. You know, how they interact in the clubhouse. The question is they asked the staff. He was just, like, so intentful and dialed into those things that, yeah, in a way you'd say he's going to end up being your extra pitching coach at that level. Like he has been the last couple of years, and it's been really fun to see that mindset kind of just be more and more dialed over time where, I mean, he's really good defensively. He had a really nice second half after some adjustments with the swing and his setup. Yeah, Cozy, he's a really good player, but I think to your point, what makes him really exciting for us is just everything that comes with almost carrying the shield of being a catcher for us with the Cleveland Guardians. Now they start a six-game road trip here in Atlanta, Georgia. Nice game to finish it on Voter, because you finally had a game where you could open it up late. And how about on Hill Martinez? This was a guy that... Really going into the final week of spring training, he was still in a battle for a spot, correct? Yeah, it was a really fun day for Anhell, and you talk about spread it open. Yeah, and the eighth, we love to play our close games. But it was nice to save an inning and outing from Cade Smith and to have the guys pile on there at the end. That was a hard-fought series, hard-fought homestand. The whole season has been hard-fought up to this point. So really proud of our guys. But for Onhell, what a great day. You know, in their versus a leftie. Reagan's unfortunately gets injured and then they come to the right. He's in the bullpen and he throws out four hits from the left side. So really encouraging day from on health. What has he done to get better from the left side? He's holding tension in his backside a little bit better. You know, he had a tendency to really lunge forward at the balls, particularly from the left side. And he's worked really hard at keeping his weight back, being able to make some adjustments. But really, he's on time for the fastball. When you're on time for the fastball, good things happen. Isn't it something that you're sitting here eight and five, and you could make a pretty good argument outside of Chase DeLotter there early? No one's been even remotely hot yet, and here you are, eight and five. Yeah, we're finding ways to win. Weird. This is what the Cleveland Guardians do. We find ways to score a little bit more than the other team, but I've been really pleased with our bets. Maybe the results haven't been there, but there were a couple days ago. We were leading the league in pitches scene. We were making pitchers work, and that's really all we can do is continue to throw out quality of bats. We're getting very timely performances by different people on any given night, and that's what makes a great team. How big a deal is it? now to play six games in what looks like 70 and 80 degree weather for the next week? Going off of what the last two weeks have been like for us, we're welcoming it. I mean, what a whirlwind of weather from Arizona to Seattle to L.A. with a rain game in L.A.? Who has that? than whatever that, you know, Czechlin-Hyde weather was we had in Cleveland for the first homestand. But we're excited, you know, obviously there's always the threat of rain here in Atlanta and St. Louis, but we're excited to see some temperatures that don't make you look twice. So what a beautiful ballpark we have here in Atlanta and some beautiful weather, too. Would have been your thoughts on one burrito. I know it's small sample size. Oh, two games of quality of bets. I think, you know, a couple big hits. You know, there's a couple nice plays in the field. You know, we had the one blip, but that's going to happen. But I've been very pleased with Juan's demeanor. You know, it was great to watch him play a couple games, and we're going to see how he helps us moving forward. Hey, Hunter Gannis is still with Columbus. Is he close?

We think he's getting closer. Yeah, I mean, he's getting to that line of spring buildup that we feel comfortable with. So what the next steps are for Hunter, we don't know. We're kind of in day-to-nay mode, but, man, was that a good phone call to get that Hunter feels great today coming out of his outing last night? So we're excited that Gaddy's going to be joining us sometime soon. All right, now you start with the Atlanta Braves. Last year was the blip on the screen for them. Otherwise, they've been in the playoffs seven straight years. They're healthy for the most part. They're off to a good start. Boy, there aren't many weaknesses in voter. They've given up four runs all year. They're bullpen. Yeah, this is a good team. Great lineup. They match up well. They've got some really good everyday players, good starting pitching. They're a little banged up in the starting pitching ranks, but you would never know it by looking at the people they're rolling out. So we got our work cut out for us, and that bullpen is kind of special. So we need to beat the starters. We need to get to them early. We could pitch well, too. So I'm excited to watch our guys go out there, but the Braves are a very good team. They always have been. Like you said, last year they had the injury bug, but they're going to give us everything they've got. Isn't it interesting? You're playing Atlanta and St. Louis, and it seems like no big deal. There really isn't that big of a deal playing the National League anymore, is there? No, it's the same rules. There's no more pitchers hitting. which I'm kind of glad, but I kind of miss it. I miss the strategy of the National League game. But yeah, everybody plays the same game now, and here we go. We've got the Braves and the Cardinals. That is Cleveland manager, Stephen Vogt.
