Now playing. Only on Netflix. The Southern Poverty Law Center themselves advertise to raise money to dismantle violent extremist groups for a period of at least a decade. They used their donor network to raise money to purportedly dismantle violent extremist groups. They used a fraudulently raised money by lying to their donor network thousands of Americans to go ahead and actually pay the leadership of these supposed violent extremist groups. Ah, yes. Well, only the KKK, which the Democrat Party created, of course. And who also? Oh, the Nazi Party of America. And who is the other white supremacists? Oh, the Aryan nations. The Aryan Nations, yeah. The Southern Poverty Law Center, probably the number one funder of the Aryan nations, the KKK. and the American Nazi Party, the National Socialists, you know, because Hitler was a socialist. He was that of the Socialist Workers Party of Germany. I think maybe Abigail Spanberger might have membership in at least one of those organizations. I'll look forward to getting to that, the acting attorney general. That was Kash Patel, the director of the FBI press conference yesterday about the Democrat Party Front Group, the Southern Poverty Law Center, which the news media treats as though they're the burning bush. They might be the burning synagogue, but they're definitely not the burning bush. And I look forward to getting all the amazing audio and the... And the crazy stats on the Southern Poverty Law Center, I've been paying attention to them for a long time. I pointed out a long time ago that the guy that shot Congressman Steve Scalise named James Hodgkinson before he was gunned down in the suicide attack. He shot Congressman Steve Scalise. He wanted to murder the entire Republican baseball team practicing for the annual Republican Democrat baseball game played at Nationals Park.

And he was inspired by the Southern Poverty Law Center. Southern Poverty Law Center vilified Congressman Steve Scalise. And then James Hodgkinson, who had been, when he was living before the police gunned him down, had been a volunteer for the Bernie Sanders presidential campaign and loved the Southern Poverty Law Center. That's just one detail. And the Family Research Council in Washington, D.C., was attacked by a gunman. He was an LGBT gunman, I believe, who brought in bags of chick-fil-a sandwiches, shot one man at the Southern Poverty Law Center, excuse me, at the Family Research Council. And then that man beat him up and took his gun away. And he was inspired by the Southern Poverty Law Center, which had vilified and demonized the Family Research Council. And those are two terrorist attacks that the... The Southern Poverty Law Center has ties to. And wait till you hear the latest because yesterday a press conference on the indictment of the Southern Poverty Law Center, not the good guys. But in the meantime and in between time, let's get to the mailbag because Wednesday is Mailbag Day here on the Chris Plant Show, don't you know? And let's dive right in. Tom, Tom asks, has anyone invited you to the Swanky White House Correspondents Association dinner on Saturday night? The answer is no. No, no, no. How do you think the White House Correspondents Association will welcome President Trump as its honored guests, as its honored guest? Though I do a television show at Newsmax, they did not invite me to sit at one of their tables at the White House Correspondents Association dinner. Though I do plan to leave the Newsmax channel soon that, but still. It's Saturday night, and I will still be working there. They have not, and they have almost nobody working in Washington, show hosts working in Washington. But, you know, maybe, I don't know, no respect. Maybe I'm Rodney Dangerfield over here. That could be the thing. I'm not going this year. I've gone to a great many White House dinners in the past. My first one was 1987, 1987, my first White House correspondence dinner. Ronald Reagan was president. I met the president that night and hung out with him. Got some fun pictures, President Reagan, White House Correspondents Dinner. And how do you think the White House Correspondents Association will welcome President Trump as it's honored guests? President Trump has historically not gone to these White House correspondence dinners. And because the press is they might be suicide bombers. They might attack him with scimitars. You know, the security detail has got to be very jittery with all these reporter people around them in the same room. All that stuff. I think they will treat him with the usual hostility. And I played the audio of Jake Tapper, longtime Democrat, who was yucking it up with Stephen Colbert and showing his shirt, his pocket square, the hanky that has a political message on it about the First Amendment, which they don't defend and they don't believe in. And they couldn't even explain to you. But they're planning on protesting.

And I got to tell you, you know, President Trump is president, perhaps because he was invited to a White House correspondence dinner many years ago. And Barack Hussein Obama was the president. And Barack Hussein Obama attacked, mocked, and ridiculed President Trump, who was sitting in the audience in black tie and having a perfectly nice time. And Barack Obama attacked him. And later on, we learned. that President Trump found that to be quite annoying and said, well, maybe I should become president and undo everything that Obama ever did. No one as president. There's the trigger finger. No one is happier. No one is prouder to put this birth certificate matter to rest than the Donald. And that's because he can finally get back to focusing on the issues that matter. Like, did we fake the moon landing? See, and then the press loves Barack Obama. They give him a tongue bath every day. And President Trump said, well, maybe I'll run for president, become president, and undo everything that Obama ever did. So he has no legacy whatsoever. And he just becomes a stain on human history. And that's really one of the more credible explanations as to why Donald Trump decided to come down the escalator and run for president. Great stuff. I think, Tom, that the press will treat him with hostility, as they always do. I think that President Trump, when he takes to the podium and the microphone, should ridicule Barack Obama. should mock and ridicule Barack Obama just for the audience reaction. They'll jeer and they'll boo and they'll get on their knees and worship Barack Obama like they're Muslims and he is Allah. And that'd be fun. But I think President Trump should ridicule. Barack Obama when he takes the microphone. And he probably will egg them on to get them to behave as they so often behave and attack Donald Trump like the mob that they are. But it'll be fun. And I'm perfectly content that I'm not going. I have gone to so many of these things. And we're going to an engagement party on Saturday afternoon. And I don't need to go. And they're after parties that we could go to. But I don't really care to. I don't really care to. These people don't interest me. They bore me. And, you know, they're at war with civilization. So I might have to speak harshly to some of them, which I've done in the past. But that's boring. Boring. You know what I mean? And I don't know how I've probably been to, I'll say. 15 to 20 White House correspondence dinners. And they have the Capitol Hill correspondence dinner to another black tie dinner. And those are often, and usually the president goes to those too. And those are a lot of fun. They can be a lot of fun too. But there you have it. No, I'm not going. I'll be hanging out with my best girl and friends, you know, who are normal people. So that'll be good. Randy, thank you, Tom. Randy asks.

Hey, Chris, I was wondering if it bugs you, like it bugs me, with the way that people mangle the English language. Randy, it very often does bother me the way that people – I kind of laugh at it for the most part because it's amazing how many people who are lawyers and senators and they went to Harvard and they have three books that they wrote and they mingle the English language all over the place. I used to make fun of Kevin McCarthy, the former Speaker of the House, who was not good at speaking. But I like pointing it out when news media people and others use poor grammar. And I, you know, me, I'm like, I'm a high school dropout. You know, I don't, I have no education at all. I don't have a college degree. I didn't go to Harvard. I'm not a lawyer. But I do have a reasonably solid command of the English language, which was gifted to me by nuns when I was a small child and by my mother who spoke English very well. And she was rather insistent that you not misuse the English language. So my brothers and I all sound exactly like this. And that's true. But it does bother me the way people abuse the English language. And Randy says, for example, it really bugs me when people say ax, A-X-E instead of ask. That's not entirely a black thing because there are people in New York. You got a lot of New Yorkers in New Jersey people. Let me ax you this. You know, and they got kind of like the Italian thing. Let me X you this and New Yorkers do that. But it's mostly a black thing. and the X, and that one is really, honestly, how many centuries is it going to take before we leave X on the ash heap of history and get people saying ask? This is, again, the public schools failing. And if there are any black leadership in this country, and there isn't, but if there were any black leadership in this country, maybe I should become the black leader, and I'll become the new Jesse Jackson. Barack Obama doesn't do it. He's done nothing for black people. He's only a half African American anyway. But we got that. And, yeah, and then people have some abbreviation for every cotton-picking word. How do you feel? Then people have to have some abbreviation for every cotton-picking word, cotton-piggin. See, that's a fun turn of phrase from the old days. And it bugs me when people say, X and not ask, and mangler the English language. I am with you, Randy. I really am. I appreciate the proper use of the English language. And in public schools...

You know, there should be, and if there are any black leadership, they'd say, let's get to standard English in one generation. Let's do it in the schools. I remember seeing an interview on TV with one of the Tuskegee Airmen, great black man, hero, World War II fighter pilot, and they had an amazing record, and they were great. And the man being interviewed, and later in life, probably 80 years old. And he said, you know, work hard, don't get in trouble, and speak standard English. That would go a long way in every important area of life. It genuinely would. Randy, good stuff, good questions. Yeah, but let me X you this. Let me X you. And Mark asks, DJT, presumably Donald John Trump. DJT has punched Iran right in the kisser several times and like the bully who has never had someone stand up to him. They keep getting up. How do we tell them that they better not get up again? And I was reading this this morning, and I said to Michael, what did I say? I said global thermonuclear war. Global thermonuclear war might be the only answer. How do you, you know, the answer is you just have to keep bombing them. You know, the Japanese didn't want to surrender at the end of World War II. And we'd already dropped Harry Truman, a Democrat, had already dropped one atomic bomb on Hiroshima. And then they dithered for three days. And there were elements that plotted to... kill the emperor so that they could keep fighting the Americans, knowing that the Americans would bomb them into oblivion. But I got to do this is the hard line there. They keep getting up. How do you tell them not to get up again? It's going to be a tough one because this is the root of all evil and radical Islam. And they're a suicidal death cult and a genocidal death cult too. It's not easy. It's hard. But you know, the president is taking them on because they're marching. very fanatically toward an arsenal of nuclear weapons on ICBMs. And President Trump has mocked other presidents for doing nothing about it since 1979. And he's taking action on an epic scale on a variance of maybe the word epic in the operation name. Good stuff. And, you know, Mark, the reality is... You just got to keep hitting them until they don't get up again. And then we'd like to see a civilized regime take over there, wouldn't we? Yes, we would. Ellie asks, E-L-I, Ellie asks, question for Chris to ponder on air. Chris, I do not recall President Trump being given a mandate by voters to start a war with Iran. I think you're right about that. I thought the reason for his election was to get gas prices and grocery prices down for the midterms.

Well, yeah, even for just for general consumption and for life and for all of that. And it's true. Now, I mean, the president is, he's just got really bit. And I'm with you. I'm like, well, wait a minute. War and war with Iran, that's the big dog in the region and the granddaddy of all of the radical Islamic. You know, da-da-da. And you're right about that. President Trump is he is a life-altering, consequential president of the United States who is in the midst of changing the trajectory of human history. And I've got to say, I didn't see that coming. I really didn't. He's changing. Look, Cuba may end up coming into the free and capitalist column before President Trump is done. Look at what he's done with Venezuela. Two CIA agents die when their vehicle went off a 600-foot cliff in Mexico yesterday after a drug raid on a cartel headquarters. President Trump is fighting all these fights that we've talked about for decades and decades, about Cuba, about Iran, about the drug cartels when we're having 100,000 Americans die and fatal drug overdoses every year. You know, more than we lost in the Vietnam War and the Korean War combined. Maybe it's time to take on the cartels. President Trump is unafraid, and he's not very public about a lot of it either. But he's fighting these fights that no president has fought against the drug cartels, against communist Cuba, against Venezuela, more counties and their alliances with China and Russia and Vladimir Putin. And now Iran and the scourge of radical Islam as the age of nuclear weapons and ICBMs in the hands of terrorists is emerging. President Trump is trying to cut all that off. And it's bigger and more ambitious, I've got to say, Ellie, than anything I expected out of President Trump. He is a kind of a mind-boggling president. He truly is. And thank you, Ellie. But I understand what you're talking about. You should call in and talk about it any time also. John, our final question, asks, Chris, are you still scheduled to leave the Wright Squad program on Newsmax next month? The answer is yes. May 18th is my last day contractually. And truthfully, I'm trying to depart sooner than that for a variety of reasons. But yes is the answer. I'll be leaving Newsmax sooner or later. And the latest, I would say, is going to be May 18th. He couldn't sit still anymore. And the Democrats have been lying about it forever. And Donald Trump said there were good people on both sides. He's talking about people fighting over the statues that the Democrats are tearing down like the Taliban that they are. And the Democrats are erasing their own history. because they're tearing down Confederate statues in Richmond and Charlottesville and elsewhere. And the Democrats... They want to tear down all of the artistic history of the Democrat Party when they were the Confederate States of America and when they created the KKK and they passed every Jim Crow law in the country. And they're tearing down their history. And some people came out and said, well, why are we tearing down the history of the United States America and these statues? And it turns out it's the Democrats tearing down everything. And it's because it's their history that they're trying to conceal from the American public. They all love to use the abbreviation because they love to abbreviate everything and turn everything into an acronym. The Justice Department charges Southern Poverty Law Center SPLC with fraud over paid informant program.

The Southern Poverty Law Center was indicted Tuesday on federal fraud charges, alleging it, the Southern Poverty Law Center improperly raised millions of dollars to pay informants to infiltrate the Ku Klux Klan and other extremist groups, acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said. Again, the Democrats created the KKK. I guess the Southern Poverty Law Center should fund it. Kash Patel explaining what the Southern poverty. The SPLC is doing. The groups include the Ku Klux Klan, the United Clans of America, unite to right, national alliance, the National Socialist Movement. the Aryan Nation Motorcycle Club, and the National Socialist Party of America, and also the American Front. In at least one of these matters, our investigation revealed that funds were used to facilitate the commission of further state and federal offenses. I think my favorite is the Aryan Nation Motorcycle Club, getting money from the Southern Poverty Law Center. That's just great. If you've given money, if you're only liberals, give money to the Southern Poverty Law Center. If you've given money to the Southern Poverty Law Center this year, last year, or over the years every year, God, you've got to feel like a sucker today. That's pretty amazing stuff. The Justice Department alleges the Civil Rights Group, that's what the PBS calls him, defrauded donors by using their money to fund the very extremists it claimed to be fighting, with payments of at least $3 million between 2014 and 2023. They sent them to people affiliated with the Ku Klux Klan, the United Clans of America, the National Socialist Party of America, that's the Nazis, and other extremist groups. And the press conference yesterday, the news media doesn't care because they're still dating the Southern Poverty Law Center in the hot tub. The acting attorney general of the United States is Todd Blanche at the Justice Department yesterday. The SPLC was not dismantling these groups. It was instead manufacturing the extremism it purports to oppose by paying sources to stoke racial hatred. Wow. Well, that's kind of not what we expected from the beloved and vaunted liberal outlet, the Southern Poverty Law Center. Pretty amazing stuff. What do they do? And, you know, how about a lot of money? We're talking about millions of dollars. Between 2014 and 2023, SPLC paid at least $3 million.

to eight individuals at least. After SPLC paid members of these extremist groups, it created work product that reported on these activities that the members participated in or contributed to. And to that end, it was doing the exact opposite of what it's told its donors it was doing. of what it told its donors it was doing. A lot of two-letter words in that sense. That's pretty good stuff. And yeah, hey, millions of dollars to, they're funding the bad guys that they say they're fighting. They've done nothing to fight them, but they've done a lot to fund them. It's a Democrat thing you wouldn't understand. Honestly. Todd Blanche, then after the press conference, he went on the television last night with Laura Ingram on her television show on the Fox News Channel. And this is kind of important. Listen to this. Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche turns out the Biden people knew all about it, and they buried it in a shallow grave in the desert after hitting it in the back of the head with a shovel. We know that this investigation was open during the Biden administration and then mysteriously closed. I really don't have any information about why it was closed. And then we started again last year. The FBI did working with the U.S. attorney in Alabama. And it's extraordinarily egregious. It's extraordinarily egregious. It's egregious. As every time I hear egregious, I think of Marion Barry. He was Mary and Barry, when he was bare, he learned the word egregious while he was on trial for something, and he started using the word egregious in almost every sentence. And for years, I'd walk around saying, it's egregious, because Marion Barry said, it's egregious. Todd Blanche, Attorney General, last night on Laura Ingram, on the Southern Poverty Law Center. Imagine a donor to the SPLC. If they were told, by the way, we're going to give the money you're giving us to the Ku Klux Klan. Okay? Like, in some cases, over a million dollars. I mean, it's incredible. I mean, it's incredible. If you gave a million dollars to the Southern Poverty Law Center and you're learning this, well, you were already an idiot. It's a fool in his money, lucky enough to get together in the first place and all that. And then listen to this because Charlottesville, remember Joe Biden said the reason that he ran for president in the first place, he couldn't sit still anymore because what happened to Charlottesville? And there was, oh, it was unite the right. And the Democrats were tearing down statues of American history. And some people thought, you know, maybe we should not tear all this down to erase the Democrat Party's history for them. Maybe we should teach people about the history, Kevin Warsh and all. But the Democrats lie about everything. So they're engaged in a cover-up. And then one woman, Heather Heyer, was killed run over by a car, some 19-year-old mental case, crashed his car into a crowd of people. Then the Democrats got what they wanted.

And that is exactly what they wanted. There's no doubt about it. She became the George Floyd of the moment. And completely ignore 9,000 black people will be murdered in the United States this year. Pay no attention to that 9,000, greater than the number of African Americans killed in the entire Vietnam War. But pay no attention. On Fox News last night, Todd Blanche, talking about Charlottesville. So what we alleged in the indictment and what the grand jury found is that one of the individuals that they paid was one of the folks who helped organize that terrible event. That terrible event in Charlottesville. So the Southern Poverty Law Center gave, and I think I saw the number, it's like $230,000 or something, that they gave to the guy that organized the unite the right. And it's true that people wanted to keep the statues there. And then a bunch of, you know, silly people that bought torches. showed up and said, yeah, the Jews will not replace us or something ridiculous like that. No Jew wants to replace you. Trust me on this. But the Southern Poverty Law Center gave more than $1 million to the National Alliance. The National Alliance, that's apparently like a Nazi group. It's an affiliate of the National Alliance. $300,000, more than $300,000 to the Aryan nations. to an Aryan Nations affiliate, right? That's like, you know, prison gang, I think. $270,000 plus to unite the right. And that was the people organizing the Charlottesville thing. $140,000 to a former National Alliance chairman. He is very grateful. $73,000 plus. to a former KKK, actually multiple former KKK members. So you get like $10,000 each or some. More than $19,000 to American Front President, the President of the American Front, and he's a felon, and he's a felon, but never mind any of that. Just amazing. So the Southern Poverty Law Center indicted six counts of wire fraud, four counts of false statements to a federally insured bank, one count of conspiracy to commit concealment money laundering. I don't know how that's different from normal money laundering, but that's concealment money laundering. And donors were not told that some of the donated funds were to be used by the Southern Poverty Law Center to pay high-level leaders of violent extremist groups and others, nor were donors ever told that some of the donated funds were used for the benefit of the violent extremist groups. Why would that be a problem? Is that going to be a thing? Just amazing.

You may remember Joe Biden, I mentioned it. In 2019, he said because of the dust up in Charlotte, that's what compelled him to run for president. Charlottesville is also home to a defining moment for this nation in the last few years. Not really? Not really. And neo-Nazis come out in the open. That's why today I'm announcing my candidacy for president of the United States. See, that's why, because of that. That's what happened. And he's Joe Biden, don't you know? I made the decision to run for president after Charlottesville. Man, oh man. You know, the Southern Poverty Law Center made a video. They made a number 11. They made a video about how terrible Charlottesville was. Now we learn that they're funding the guy that organized it. August 2017, white supremacists and neo-Nazis gathered in Charlottesville, Virginia, spreading hate and intolerance. Funded by you. But brave individuals from all walks of life stood up against bigotry, racism, and injustice. Yeah, they're standing up against bigotry races and injustice. And they funded the Southern Poverty Law Center, a left-wing group pretending to be a civil rights group. They funded it. Isn't that amazing? And I don't know, you may remember Jamie Raskin, the Democrat congressman from Maryland, where they've already gerrymandered the hell out of the state and they've stolen everything. There's one Republican seat left and they're planning on stealing that in the House of Representatives. because they have the minds of criminals, Jamie Raskin. Now, in other times, Democrats and Republicans alike would rely on the Southern Poverty Law Center to help us keep track. of the movements of violent white supremacy in the country. Uh-huh. And they can give them millions. The Southern Poverty Law Center has been a vigilant voice in civil society against radical white nationalist violence. They fund radical white nationalists and Nazis and Klansmen. They're spending millions of dollars putting money in their pockets. And the news media and the Jamie Raskin of the world, he's the lost Mark's brother, by the way. Anybody know him? You ever see him? It was hilarious when he tore that piano up and turned it into a harp, and that was good. They couldn't be bigger hypocrites. Turns out they're behind Charlottesville. They're funding the people that organized it. With money donated to them to fight the people that organized it. And when you're a Democrat, that's not a problem. That's not front page news. And Jamie Raskin won't come out and say, boy, I sure look like a fool now. You know, he's going to send another 10 bucks to the Southern Poverty Law Center. I ran for president in 2020 because of what I saw in Charlottesville.

So before I get to my main point, you know, living in Stafford, I'm proud of Stafford for voting no. And it just shows you how silly this whole thing was that she couldn't even carry Stafford. But with everything that's gone on, including the SAVE Act and just the lack of GOP support for the vote, I'm done. I'm done. 45 years next month, 45 years old, been a Republican my whole life. and I'm switching to independent. They just do not deserve my affiliation anymore, and they are perennial losers. Well, you know, it's hard to argue with that. I can't, I don't think I can talk you out of that today. And I don't think I'd try. This has been an ongoing problem with the Democrats for a very long time. Maybe you and I should run for office, go up to Capitol Hill, and, you know, I could literally show them how to argue these arguments and how to fight these fights.
