You know, they promise in this show a different voice, that feminine mind, understanding things from a perspective. And I bring my own feminine mind, not my personal feminine mind, but my wife. Follow along. We're here. We're in for Kathleen. She and her husband, the great Albert win. are heading up to the Phoenix area for an aviation event. It was an invitation-only deal, and Al Wynn is, he's an amazing guy. He's one of the most self-effacing guys, but he was one of the, I think he was the engineer behind the Apache helicopter. And, yeah, so. Chief engineer. Yeah, yeah. You got, but you got Dave and Betsy Smith here. And we have so much to talk about you guys. Oh, my gosh. I mean. Good Lord, excuse me. The government's open. We're back in business. Diarte. That's right. Flip the sign at the door, no longer closed. We're open for business America. And it's good. I was looking at the numbers here on flight cancellations and delays. It's way down. They did not increase it overnight. Who has the most cancellations, though? Flight cancellations? Chicago are old. That's right. That airport is such a nightmare. For you folks out here. here in a good old southwest. I grew up here in Arizona. Betsy was an Illinois'linar farm girl, and we used to live in the Chicago suburbs, and I can say this after having done a nice trip back in the Midwest to have a grandchild, an awesome little guy. I remember exactly why we moved back here. Wow. Wow. That Midwest weather. Fun. Cold. Cold. No sun for days. All of you, snowbirds, welcome back. We understand why you're here. Exactly. And we appreciate you. Right. So the clean continuing resolution, the CR, that is going to fund the government until January.

has been signed by President Trump last night. And, uh, but, you know, we were, honestly, we were held, we, the American people were held hostage for 43 days by the Democrats. And there's really no other way to say it. And people, people, I keep hearing, you know, leftist pundits say, well, the, the Republicans are in charge. They're actually not in charge, um, because it, it took, uh, what, seven, six or seven Democrats to vote yes to the clean CR. The Republicans gave up nothing because all the Republicans wanted to do was to continue to fund the government so they could continue to do the business of the federal government. But our two senators here in Arizona, Ruben Gallego. And, you know, the astronaut Mark Kelly voted to continue to make the American public suffer. And in fact, they also voted a few days before this. They voted to not pay the military and not pay. federal law enforcement. It's so, it's disheartening and it's embarrassing. Those guys wrapping themselves in a flag and then calling themselves Americans. They don't give a damn about Arizona and they don't give a damn about the American public. But we're back, baby. No, exactly. You know, again, this is a weird time in American history because. You know, we have all these issues. It was very clear when the beautiful bill, the beautiful bill got passed, it was setting ground, literally the groundbreaking changes and things that we are going to get fixed that we kept. We were promised we're going to get fixed. And the Democrats are still, and the one thing you've got to admire the Democrats, regardless of what the law is, regardless of what the Constitution says, they want to, by golly, have it their way. Just like locally in Tucson, you know, we kill these propositions. And good old Rachina, she's going to have herself some 15-minute city in the future. She's going to have road diets. She's going to make sure you get out of your car and 108 degrees and ride a bike. And this is the kind of malarkey that you have with these people. They are literally, and we're seeing the rise of this with this social. It's a sociological revolution in the Democrat Party, and it's a sea change. And one of the problems we face here, because Arizona, you know, I keep hearing about, wow, this Zohran Mamdani, you know, this guy, this guy, hey, guys, we've had what I consider a Marxist leader in both our county and in our city for years now, our mayor and then Adelita, who's now in Congress. And again, the minute she got there, she decided she's going to be an Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of her own version.

Grijalva OC. And it's going to be interesting to see, but again, as you're going to see, she's failed her way up. Now she's there. She's going to continue to opine, as we say, which is a word saying complain. And believe me, having been to these board of supervisor meetings for the last three years regularly trying to deal with her, we are going to see the fact that she's ideological. She's not concerned about the welfare of the actual taxpayer. She doesn't even really talk about Arizona. All she talks about is herself. And, you know, she cannot get in front of enough cameras. And she just continues to talk about herself. She doesn't really talk about what she is going to do in Congress. And, you know, she's going to certainly hook up with Yasmin Asari and our other really insane congresswoman. And, you know, she's, you know, of course, we're going to give her a chance. But I don't anticipate that she's going to do anything. A chance to do what? You know, yeah, exactly. She voted to keep, their first vote was to keep the government closed. Well, how about that, Tucson? Well, and her obsession is the Epstein files. And, and again, this is a, this is a Democrat. distraction. Trust us, if Donald Trump or any other high-level Republican was at all compromising the Epstein files, Joe Biden's people would have released it. Not Joe Biden because he really didn't know what was going on. Joe. Sleepy Joe. You know, it's a funny thing about Joe Biden is that he's still never quite gone away. And you see him pop up in these talks and it just refreshes your memory about what a clown show it was for the last four years running. our government with a man who was not running our government. It was an illusion. He was simply a figurehead that was there used. And the proof is in the pudding when you find out he has no idea what was signed. He has no idea it was passed. He had no idea about all those amnesties and pardons that were put out. They were political payoffs. We're going to prove that. My problem is this. We complain. We talk. We're doing big talk here for these first 10 minutes, but nobody's in a perp walk. Nobody, you know, I don't see a 6 a.m. raid. Ask Roger Stone about that. You know, these people who were picked up at airports, these people who had them come in and search their homes, the president of the United States. And his wife's underwear drawer searched by the FBI. You know, this kind of humiliating, intentional almost. I would call it Soviet-style tactics designed to demean and disgrace. Well, they failed. He got elected. But number two is where, I'm not asking for revenge. I'm asking for justice. I hear all this stuff. Well, it's retribution. No, it's justice, gang. If you've used the powers of government to oppress others, to silence Catholics using the traditional mass to go after moms and dads and school boards, if you've done all these things that we see.

Now, one of the things I know those are you listening going to, wait, wait, where's Kathleen? This is wind Tucson, man, on 1030. What's going on? I go, well, she's not here. She'll be back tomorrow. Yes, that's right, folks. She had things that do. And we, Betsy and I stepped in, and we just love coming in here and sharing a couple hours with you, folks. We've got so much to talk about today because America is really reeling from the, we've had the shutdown, longest shutdown in American history. That's over now. We have stock market records yesterday, the Wall Street anyway. up on the Dow and you know you see all these things happening you know we have a president that's a brokered peace deals all over the world and yet he's constantly being assaulted by our by our media he's constantly being assaulted by Literally, the whole Democrat Party, it's really bizarre. One of the things that President Trump and federal law enforcement are bragging about this week because they have every right to brag about it is since the start of Operation Midway Blitz in Chicago, if you're familiar with that, that's where ICE and other federal resources have gone into the Chicago area to arrest the worst of the worst. And they have been under attack. from everybody from the Latin Kings. That's one of our biggest street gangs in Chicago who actually put out a bounty, not just on the head of the Border Patrol, Gregory Bovino, but literally on the head of every ICE agent, every CBP officer out there. But they continue, and by the way, they continued to work during the shutdown without pay. And since the start of Operation Midway Blitz in Chicago, homicides are down 16%, shootings down 35%, robberies down 41%, carjackings down nearly 50%. And transit crime down nearly 20%. So while crime is going down in Chicago, thanks in large part to federal law enforcement,

enforcement with the help of state and locals, even as the governor of Illinois and the mayor of Chicago are continuing to literally encourage people to attack ICE and other federal agents. Here in Tucson, what do we have? We have a shooting almost every day now in Tucson. Tucson is starting to turn into. a little Chicago. Thanks, Rahina. Great job with your free transportation. And good job, Laura Kahnover, Laura Kahnlover, as our law enforcement loves to. Exactly right. You know, this is one of the things people have to understand. We have all, you know, the Olympic Committee just declared that there actually is science and that men and women are different. Wow. Wow. I sat there on my couch literally started drinking at 10 a.m. That can't be possible. My God, men and women are different. Hello. But this is the kind of thing we're seeing now where we can actually say there is science about, for instance, what does diminish crime? Certainty of punishment diminishes crime. What Laura Conover does is certainty of non-punishment, which encourages crime. See, those of us that follow what's called a rational choice theory of criminality. We know a person, crime. in a country, a county, a city, anywhere is committed by a relatively low percentage of people. The problem is they just keep committing crimes over and over again. One of the things we used to laugh about when I was a young city cop here in Tucson was that whenever you caught a burglar, the first thing you'd say, well, this was the first time I ever done it. And all the old veterans just laugh and shake their heads and go, listen, clown, we know what, you know, we're going to tie in all the other cases with your mode of operandi, modus of operandi, you know, and we'll tell you what, we'll figure out how many crimes you've actually done. And a lot of times the detectives have come back to us and say, man, this guy cleared 50 burglaries. This guy cleared 70 burglaries, you know, and these are the people have to understand criminality is confined, but. And what sociological studies have shown is there are a group of people who are not criminals, but who watch to see if the criminals are being punished. When they're not, then they themselves find crime. They go in and they clear out the Walmarts. They empty the Walgreens in L.A. They empty the Walgreens and the drug stores in San Francisco. And this is what America has seen, this huge rise of contempt for law, contempt for property, contempt for others. You know, the city of Las Cruces in New Mexico is a real cautionary tale for those of us who live in Tucson. And the police chief there, Jeremy's story, has been talking about...

a lot about repeat offenders. They literally have a guy that keeps coming to City Hall in Las Cruces, New Mexico, and breaking the windows. The police arrest him, and he just keeps getting out. He has about 108 right now offenses on his rap sheet, but they keep releasing him. This is what things like no cash bail and no certainty of punishment, as Dave talks about. That's Donia Anna. County very similar to Pima County in the way that our prosecutor here deals with crime. As Dave says, certainty of punishment is one of the best ways to stop crime. But it doesn't happen. And, you know, I was on, I was on Newsmax yesterday, Newsmax, too. And we were talking about how. crime is being stopped in different areas. And it is with the, not just the arrest, but the prosecution of people. That everybody's like, well, what are the police going to do about crime? Well, police can arrest everybody in the planet. But if they are not prosecuted and incarcerated, in other words, punished, you know, then nothing is going to happen. And we, you know, here's the thing. Most people aren't criminals. Most people, like Dave said, don't commit crime. So you take that small percentage of people that do commit crime and you punish them, especially by incarcerating them because what incarceration does, it takes them out of the mix. It takes them out of society so they can no longer victimize people. Well, one of the things we discovered in the 1994 crime bill, which actually brought the... brought America back full circle because in the 60s, this de-institutionalization or whatever you want to call it. De-incarceration. De-incarceration had become a big vogue. In other words, yeah, this wasn't, this recently, this isn't our first rodeo for social justice. We had it in the 60s. And what happened was crime kept going up and up and up and up until 94. Then even a guy named, what's his Senator Joe, Joe. Biden, he sponsored a bill. It's crazy to punish criminality. We had mandatory, because judges had become so liberal. We had mandatory sentencing. We had all these things. And sure enough, America, by 2010 at the lowest crime weight in our hearing, it was just, it was fabulous. And he even touted it in a 20, I think, 09 or 2010 speech in. in the Senate. And this is the problem we see is that however the amnesia and the propaganda never stops. So what you have is the people who have said over and over again, well, you know, it was terrible that we believed in the super predators. And I'm a firm believer in the super predators. I just think the poor professor of University of Pennsylvania that came up with that Diulio, he just got browbeaten to say, well, I guess it really, there's no such thing. And we see these videos now. We have more proof of super predators in these moral deserts, which we call our inner cities. Well, and Joe Biden got browbeat into denouncing.

The 1994 crime bill, because he got called a racist, famously by Kamala Harris, who now can't say enough bad stuff about Joe Biden. About everybody, frankly. But, you know, one of the things that you might have missed in the news because of the government reopening was Kash Patel made an announcement yesterday that China has agreed to work with the United States to stop. the flow of precursors to fentanyl into, frankly, into Mexico, and then it comes back up here. But we are, thanks to the FBI, we're going to be shutting off that pipeline of fentanyl. And that's one of the biggest problems that we have here in Tucson, Arizona. We have this terrible fentanyl problem. You know, asked Josh Jacobson from our crime-free... Crime Free Council Coalition. Coalition. And, you know, we, we, when, you know, because we talk a lot about homelessness here in Tucson, one of the biggest reasons that we have such a terrible homeless problem is because of fentanyl. And we are here in the Tucson sector. We talk about this all the time. So much of the fentanyl that flows into the rest of the United States was coming through the Tucson sector here. Thanks to who? Oh, yeah, the guy we just talked about, Joe Biden and his ridiculous open border policies. But. Donald Trump is such a good negotiator that he has literally gotten China to agree to help stop the flow of fentanyl precursors. What that means is the ingredients used to make fentanyl, which they do down in... places like Acapocco in that area. That's where that all comes in. Then it comes up through here, California, New Mexico. And so this is pretty extraordinary stuff. So we're really appreciative of all the things that federal law enforcement is doing, including the FBI, not to follow around and arrest parents who are coming to school board meetings, not to follow around. and arrest traditional Catholics. Oh, that's the Biden FBI. Our FBI here under Republican leadership is actually doing their job. We're going to talk more about law enforcement issues and so much more. It's exciting because good things are happening. You don't hear them being reported, but we want to report them here. There are good things happen. There are bad guys being arrested, and that's one of the things. You know, Betsy, that's the thing. We just don't hear from the mainstream media about all the good that's going on. No, we really don't. And, you know, my... My side hustle is I'm the spokesman for the National Police Association. They actually advertise on this station. Yes, they do. Nationalpolice.org, take a look at it, hit that donate button. You know, Kristi Noem, who's our Homeland Security Secretary, just announced yesterday that more than 150 illegal alien sexual predators were arrested in Florida. as part of a sweeping and cooperative law enforcement action known as. Operation Dirtbag, which I just love that. That's one of President Trump's favorite phrases. He always likes to talk about dirt bags and cops. We love that term. That's what we call mutts and dirt bags and all that kind of stuff. And this is a thing. Everybody are the mainstream media, the legacy media, whatever you like to call it. And a lot of our local media here in Tucson, they want you to think that the federal government is just... going into daycares and going into the back doors of restaurants and taking out these poor busboys who are just trying to make a better life. And what's really a happening is, as promised, the Trump administration is arresting the worst of the worst. And one of... The proclivities that we have of these third world illegal aliens, I'm just going to say it, is that they have a different idea of what appropriate behavior is, and they come here and they engage in sexual predation. There's no other way to say it. And we just arrested 150 of them in Florida. Exactly. And that's the thing, because in our society, in open society, we make our youth very vulnerable. They're vulnerable through, you know, social media. They're vulnerable through all kinds of things. You know, our kids walk around. on this in the streets unescorted our young women walk around unprotected in many cultures that's just not it's verboten you don't walk around without a big brother you don't walk around without your father you don't go out of the house without an escort and frankly let's be honest we uh

There was a great book by Victor Davis Hanson a few years ago, Mexico. And he described growing up, and he's multi-generational grape people there, vineyards in California and farmers. And he saw the change in the immigrant group. Traditionally, when you came to America to work, you... you assimilate it, you know, many, many of his students and he sent many Mexican American youth to Harvard, to other prestigious college through his, through his educational work at the University of California. And The thing was is that that used to be the dream. Come to America, assimilate, have your children go up, become academics, become successful. Now he said the problem was, is these kids being raised. Once they hit the American school system, they are taught to hate America. They are taught just the opposite of what was a traditional value base to come to America. And now it's so bad. We have people don't even bother to learn English or give their name and they get a commercial driver's license. And I'll tell you this, as a former highway patrolman, nobody wants that multi-ton rig running down the highway with a guy that can't abla English, you know, and this is the problem I have. Speaking English, whether you're from any country in the world is an essential element for operating those giant vehicles. We were just on the road for five weeks. In fact, we were both of us, I think were on wind Tucson while we were on the road. And so that was one of the things that we saw and we see frequently is non-English-speaking truck drivers. And the state of Oklahoma, which we stay in going up to the Midwest and coming back, and we appreciate those Iowa state troopers so much, they are really active when it comes to... checking to make sure that truckers are following the law, including when it comes to can they speak English? And can they read English? Can they read the signs? Can they? There was just a terrible ammonia leak from a tractor-trailer tanker yesterday in Weatherford, Oklahoma. And, you know, I'll be anxious to see how that occurred and what happened there. But those state troopers are, they just do an amazing job. You know, many of the videos of these horrible incidents, the one in Florida, the one in California, where these guys didn't speak English, they couldn't read it. They couldn't read English. They fraudulently obtained their license. These videos shouldn't terrify Americans because this is literally a deadly weapon driving around your streets. And we should prosecute. not only the operators of those vehicles, but the operators of the trucking company, the people who issued those licenses in contradictory to law.

It's very frustrating to me that we as a society, we don't get the outrage because frankly it's just not covered. There's silence on the airwave so often. Again, it's so frustrating to try to get the word out to American people when you talk to somebody and say, well, you know, this and this happened. No, it didn't happen. Yeah, it did happen. It's happening and it's still happening as we speak because it's not reported. There's never outrage, and this is one of the problems. I don't want you to commit crime. I don't want you to go out and do evil things. I want you to go out and again enforce the law. I want you to go out and make sure you follow your social constructs, protect people, drive safely, do all these things. And yet, as a society, we don't seem to worry about it. And what's worse is when people break these laws, when people break these regulations, there's no follow-up. There's so rarely anything done, although now we're seeing that things are being done. And thank goodness, because it's about time. Absolutely. And, you know, we were talking about the government shut down and public safety and this and that. Even the Democrats are admitting today that one of the reasons that several of them voted with Republicans to reopen the government was air traffic safety. And even Tim Kaine, a Democrat from Virginia, who is just a... He's a nasty person. There's no other way to say. And he's just so nastily anti-Trump and this and that. He's one of the Republicans that stepped over the red line, so to speak, and said, and he admitted one of the reasons that I finally voted to reopen the government was air travel was getting so dangerous. And so this is. This is one of the things, you know, life is dangerous. We've got crime. We've got, you know, air traffic issues. And so we're really grateful that the federal government, and we're small government people, but there's certain things that the federal government's in charge of. And we're coming into the Thanksgiving holiday where a lot of people travel. And we really need to make sure that the airways are safe. Oh, you know, you and I have been complaining forever and ever, and it's finally seen a government that actually cares about the welfare of you. This is why people form governments for your security, for your safety, and this is what's happened now under this president. There's an odd schizophrenia in both parties and the Republican Party as well. We don't. We love him, we hate him. Now you can't even talk about Trump without putting in the conditional phrase, you know, love him or hate him. You've got to say that, you know, President Trump. Love him or hate him. He did this. President Trump, love him or hate him. You know, this has become the mantra. And we see a lot of this stuff now. If you're on any social media, you see this. Well, Trump's all about himself. Well, Trump's, and these are not Democrats. These are Republicans. Some of them are long-term Republicans that I've known a long time, and they're always looking for the fatal flaw in someone else. You know, frankly, if you're expecting a perfect person.

You're wrong, but I have to say this. What Trump has done is amazing. Forget the peace, forget that just by deregulating our society. There is the fascism of our country, folks. The fact that a judge has the power to shut you down, the fact that these legislatures, these regulators, these bureaucrats able to control your very business down to micromanusia. We saw it in the extreme during COVID. And yet, folks, we're very close to that same power, that regulatory control of our lives day to day being brought in today. This is why, miraculously, Trump comes and says, yeah, you can pass a new regulation, but you've got to take away others. So we're seeing this deregulation of society. And when somebody says to us, you know, well, you know, people are greedy. People, I'll never forget the famous, the famous comeback by Milton Friedman. He said, so you don't think, you don't think government employees are greedy? don't think bureaucrats are greedy. You know, and exactly right. The human failings come in all forms of government. And if you think that just because somebody's a Marxist or somebody's a socialist, that they're going to be free of the very problems that we see in capitalism that's wrong. Capitalism isn't perfect. But again, Anne Rand, I think. described it best in her books, Atlas Shrugged and Fountainhead, how people, if you are being, even if you're selfish, and this goes all the way back to Adam Smith, this selfish person still acts. for the welfare of all because that need to succeed requires literally the involvement of everyone. So in our society today, I'm really happy at what's happening. And let's just talk when we come back from the break. Let's you and I talk about, for instance, inflation, because I keep hearing this mantra about inflation as a guy who. buys a lot of groceries. We were just back. Too many. We were just back feeding the family back there, you know, and I'm telling you, this is amazing. We're also going to talk about Seattle's new mayor, Katie Wilson, and what she's trying to do about this very issue, because she's a Marxist too, but we've got to take a break. I've seen some news specials lately about how expensive beef is, but right now this week, if you look at your, if you look at a couple of your advertisements, I'm seeing ground beef with a coupon for $2.95, and I'm like, holy smoke, we haven't paid $2.95 for ground beef in a while. Now, this is, I know this is a loss leader, and everybody's going, Dave, look at the rest of it's gone up. Yes, it has. You know, your chuck roast is $1 to $2 a pound more than it was.

a year ago. The problem is, is that Trump didn't initiate this problem. The problem was way before. And it seems like, again, The propaganda machine, the gas lighting has been so intense that Americans remember or feel as if that, well, you know, I never, boy, the four years, everything was pretty good. No, four years everything wasn't good. You guys remember here in Arizona having to pay over $4 a gallon? You know, now I just paid it this morning on Silverbell, $2.97 a gallon. I had to have two guns in my lap while I got that, but I'm just saying. Oh, man. She's always, when we go in to get gas, she's always covering me. Here's the thing. We have a society that has suffered four years under that. And the gaslighting of the American people, like I said, the denial by the people who we've entrusted to be our information gatherers and disseminators have not disseminated information. And now they're using it to say, well, look what's happening. You know, inflation's up. No, inflation's down. Across the board almost. And yes. The problem is, is we still have to get gas down. We still have to get diesel down. All that directly translates to how much your food costs. Feed. You know, we have family. Betsy has family that are farmers and ranchers. And they talk about how, you know, their cost of operation, folks, just to feed cattle, just to just to fertilize their fields has become crazy. Yeah, absolutely. And so that's why. One of the things you need to do, and again, we talk about this every time we're on Win Tucson. That's why AM radio is so important because you get a lot of truth on AM radio and you're able to seek out people that you trust. And frankly, in television and in a lot of print, you don't get a lot of truth. And that's why we ask people to make sure that you have news sources that you trust and read. read your news, listen to your news, get on podcasts, things like that. If you're just watching cable news, you're not getting the whole story. If you're just watching local and national network news, you're not getting crap. No. So make sure that you're getting all of your, you've got all your sources. You're getting lots of diverse information because there is. A lot of information out there. And there's a lot of lies. There's no other way. There's no other way to say it because that's why we're getting people, socialists and Marxists, elected to very important positions like the mayor of New York and now like the new mayor of Seattle is basically a female Zohran Mamdani as far as her politics go. And as we're talking about inflation and talking about food.

And this is, there's a, there's a terrific article up, a town hall article up on the Pima GOP Facebook right now that talks about how the Democratic Socialists of America are looking to take over school boards. And they've already done it here in many of our school districts in Tucson. But even, for example, where we live in Morana. We have a very divided school board. And, of course, here in Arizona, school boards are not, they're supposed to be apolitical, you know, a party, right? We don't know their party. They're not a political, right, yeah. But right now, for example, in the town of Morana, we have a very split school board, you know, some conservative, frankly, more leftists. And that's what they're going to do next, because if you can take over the education system, then... You can take over the children and take over the country. Exactly right. You know, this is one of the frustrating things because we don't have the identifiers that we have. I mean, you run for a school board, you can say, I'm for the kids. Well, who's not for the kids? But how do you, what is your philosophy toward those children? What are the things that you want those children to learn? What are the things that you want them to be exposed to? How much do you want the parents to be involved? or a block, not just disengaged, but blocked from. And this is one of the things that you have to ask yourself. You know, there was a couple years ago, there was a bill to change school board elections to partisan. So you could see exactly who was who. And there were a couple, quote, prominent Republicans who I don't consider Republicans. in which we find a lot of the, that we're like, oh, no, we want to keep the anonymity. Well, that only ensures the fact that people can lie, misrepresent, or in some way get elected in very conservative parental pockets. You'll have these leftists because they run with euphemisms and they run with glowing ideologies and magical thinking about what the kids are going to get. And they don't believe any of that. Very frustrating. No, this is happening right now in Oregon. They're seeing so many of these city council and school board candidates that are being endorsed by the Democrat Socialists. of America and you know so if you wonder why Tucson is getting so dangerous if you are wondering why it's so difficult to get a Republican on the Tucson City Council or the Pima County Board of Supervisors a big part of it is this they have money And they have money to be able to run these far, far left candidates. And we're trying to stop it. But one of the things that I'm learning as I am more and more involved in politics in Arizona, and especially here in Pima County, is that our...

People don't really understand the political system. Not at all. Not just Democrats, but Republicans. So many of our Republicans really don't understand the local political system. It's very frustrating. Well, again. Part of the problem was we stopped teaching civics. So people don't understand even our fundamental difference between a democracy and a constitutional republic. And that's part of the problem. Tucson is a democracy and a small D democracy, which always leads to the kind of corruption we have going on here. Every time we've tried to give the people actual power, real democracy in terms of the wards, they keep saying, well, you know, the person elected. to be in the city council is going to still represent the whole city. No. Ward voting would mean that that person would be the special interest of the ward itself, the people living there and they would have a say in it, which is the idea behind a republic, our constitutional republic, to break down your vote to the smallest possible component, and therefore you have a say, therefore you have an influence. If we don't do that, if we do this now, see, the Ward 6 is voting on Ward 1. Ward 3 is voting on Ward 1. Ward 2 is voting on Ward 1. That's not appropriate. This is what we've just seen happen. You know, you may win your ward and lose the city. And this is the kind of tyranny of the majority that we've been concerned about from the very beginning. Again, nobody reads the Federalist paper, so nobody understands that philosophy. But democracies always fail. And they fail in a terribly grotesque way. The way we see today, we have democratized our republic. something you folks have to understand. We have got to go back, fight for our representatives, vote, get involved, and change the way things are going. And you've got to hold their feet to the fire. You know, you've got to tell your representatives what you want and especially what you don't want. And we're going to talk more about this so much and so much more after the break. We were like, God, I don't know. We have so much to talk about. And one of the things, I tell you, that's so frustrating is that we, it's so hard to get to the facts about some things. You know, we've been complaining forever and ever, for instance, that Tucson kills a lot more pedestrians, a bicyclist, than the national average. We're one of the top in the nation, always. And yet nothing gets done. No, and you're not even allowed to talk about it. And, you know, it's just, oh. And, you know, I was just listening to the news at the break. And, of course, they're talking about Adelaidea Grohava, our new congresswoman. She is one of the most insufferable, whining. Women. I'm sorry, but there's just no other way to say it. She just, and she's not bright. She belongs on the view, not in Congress. But you guys elected her. Great job. But all she is talking about is how she, she was, her swearing in was obstructed. It's so unfortunate that Adelaida doesn't. She's not smart enough to understand that she can't be sworn in when the government's closed and that her party is the party that kept the government closed. So now we have to listen to Adelaidea wine. I don't know how much longer we're going to have to listen to her wine, but here's the thing. Arizona. Our national level politicians are so embarrassing. You know, not only do we have our embarrassing senators, but now we've got whiny Adelita, who I hope she eventually does some work. She really hasn't talked about that. All she does is whine about how she wasn't sworn in. You're sworn in, Addie. You know, lay off the buffet and maybe do some work for the people of Arizona. Do it. Do your job. Wait again. We face this issue time and again. Arizona, I believe, is still a relatively conservative state. With our bizarre election procedures and the restrictions, we have all these leftists. I mean, literally the state law, I'm going to say this once again, Arizona state law, Title 16, 805 or something, I have no exact number, it doesn't matter, because nobody's going to look it up. But it's against the law for there to be a communist party in Arizona. Literally cannot be formed. You can't have precinct committeemen. You can't put it on a ballot. Yet sure enough, down here in Tucson, if you look at registrations, you've got communists. You can't do that. The law says no. But we all know, and they acknowledge people like Rahina and then they're Democrat socialists. You know, this is. a frustrating thing because we aren't defending those principles that allow us to be free and

Again, we don't have a semester to teach everybody about the roots of freedom. But I'm telling you, Marxism, socialism does not lead to freedom, period. It's the antithesis of freedom. And so we have to understand, yes, while it may feel good, it sounds good. Well, you know, the government, they're going to do this. You're going to have an affordable housing. You're going to live in Soviet-style structures that failed in the Soviet Union, that failed in East Germany, that failed throughout the world. but somehow no one's talking about what it's going to be like. They go, well, we'll freeze the rent. Well, New York did that, and it totally failed. Landlords literally quit taking care of their facilities. This anti-capitalist, anti-free market push is, it's very emotionally attractive. It's intellectually stupid. And that's sort of become. Politics today in the major urban centers. Intellectually stupid, but emotionally very satisfying. You know, in another way that Arizona is making national news, speaking of embarrassing politicians, is that our governor, Katie Hobbs, is being investigated for bribery, fraud, conspiracy, and racketeering. And that is making national news. The chairman of the Joint Legislative Committee has informed Maricopa County's investigator that the Auditor General is going to assist in the investigation after the Arizona Republic, believe it or not. has detailed how a state contractor, this is the Sunshine Residential Homes, it's a home for like foster kids and stuff like that, bribed, allegedly bribed Katie Hobbs and the Arizona Democrats with $400,000 in returns because they got all this state money for all these state contracts. And this is making national news. On X, you can read all about it at the Pima County Republican Party's X account, Real Pima GOP, is the handle there. And, you know, this is great. Katie Hobbs, who did a three-day, she just completed her three-day tour of Arizona in like a short school bus. It's the weirdest thing ever. She's just so, she's just so incompetent. And we have much better candidates for governor. We have several on the Republican side. But Katie Hobbs is being investigated. So maybe she'll have to resign, you know, instead of having to suffer through another Katie Hobbs. Another Katie Hobbs. Yeah, can't think of the word, Dave. Another Katie Hobbs campaign. Campaign, her election. Yeah, everybody forget. She ran to bathroom. She hid. She was literally her form of the Biden's basement strategy was for her to run to the bathroom every time she was asked a hard question. But then she got elected, so we have to question ourselves, what the heck is going on? And again, we're not allowed to ask that question because then, oh, you are a conspiracy theorist.

Well, it's so weird because so many of the conspiracies that I've been talking about for the last seven years or so have come to be not the conspiracy, but the actual fact. So I don't know. You know, it's just like, I tell you what, I get a kick out of this alien spaceship that just went around the sun, this Atlas thing. Have you guys been, you guys out there, are you paying attention to this? Because it seems to be quite a... popular thing among the media is that there is this at whatever the name of it is atlas or whatever i don't even think that's here you have you been paying attention to this giant i absolutely have not oh my gosh this it just went around the sun it just went around the sun and it's uh and they're arguing whether it's a it's a it's a it's a uh It's an alien spaceship or it's a, this is the kind of thing the media is covering. But see, you don't watch normal media. So that's the whole problem. But it's so funny. No, because I actually want to know what's going on in my country. I also, now I will say that I am aware that the Ed, Chris Jenner's, you know, that's the mom of the Kardashians, that her 70th birthday party. just happened and Harry and Megan of the royal family were there and now the pictures of them being there been deleted so I do get a little bit of trash news but but very little because I I want to know what's happening in my state I want to know what's happening in my country because there is so much and again Arizona continues to make National news, and when we come back from the break, we're going to talk about how our alternate electors, not just here in Arizona, but around the country, were just pardoned. by President Trump because that was another bunch of lawfare nonsense that we were dealing with here in Arizona. I did want to talk about alien spaceships, but you wanted to talk about something else. No, I'm just saying, those of it aren't following this thing. It's gone around the sun. Everybody's like, well, it came out intact, so it must be an alien spaceship. So, somebody goes, no, it's not. This is normal for it to come out intact. But I want to say something here. This thing, the obvious question is, we already have UFOs that are defying physics right and left.

This is either the most primitive aliens in history or it's not a spaceship. And I'm like, what is wrong with you, folks? We already have all these marvelous discussions about aliens that can, they're interdimensional. I'm telling you what, Earth's aliens are much better than extraterrestrial aliens. I am fascinated by this scientific, this non-scientific debate. Oh, it's an alien ship. It's not a mothership. And they're primitive at the poor, If these poor bastards have to go around the sun to accelerate, they need to get a lesson from our aliens that are vastly superior and interdimensional and defy physics. That's my point. I've been to Roswell. We've been to the UFO Museum. We're like, yeah, these guys are rocking it. And this other primitive crew here, these are like the crow magnons of aliens. I'm very, I'm not impressed, folks. Man, I'm just telling you. All right, back to terrestrial issues here. I'll tell you what. Back to America and Tucson. Next topic. So I just, again, I want to remind everybody that there are alternate electors, including Kelly Ward, were... pardoned by President Trump. And now Chris Mays, our attorney general, is trying to decide if she's going to still try and prosecute them. These are the people during 2020 who, you know, and this includes, you know, Kelly Ward, Tyler Rower, there's a whole list of people that our attorney general was trying to use lawfare against, and so was the Biden administration. To frankly, to try and break these people. You know, this is a thing. And it's so frustrating because we keep hearing about, you know, Trump is using the Justice Department to try to punish his enemies. Good Lord, this started with Barack Obama going after then candidate. Trump. We still, you know, to try and support Hillary Clinton, do all these other things. We, and we talk about this every time we're here, I want to see people in handcuffs. Right. I want to see perp walks. I want to see mugshots. You know, James Comey was indicted. Where's his mugshot? Where was his perp walk? Right. Even not perp walked at all. And my, it, Again, this has upset me so much for so many years is that whatever we do something that is traditional or has certainly been done a multitude of times by both parties, suddenly now in this modern era, we're going to criminalize it. We're going to change the law. For instance, faithless electors, which is this topic you're talking about right now, these people, it's been going on. You simply elect a separate batch of electors that are the faithless electors. They're not faithful to what the election result is, and they're not unconstitutional or not criminal. It's nothing shocking. It was nothing new. But using January 6th as their impetus.

They criminalized literally all these behaviors. Now, of course, and what you've been seeing is the Supreme Court's been ruling, no, that's not a criminal. No, it's not. No, it's not. But to just simply truncate that whole process, Trump has put out these pardons. And congratulations to guys like Tyler Boyer and Kelly Ward and the people who have been relieved of that financial stress, but it's already cost them mega bucks. And frankly, this is what we're all sick of, this Soviet-style oppression, and it is oppression, and we need to call it what it is. The left is full of wonderful euphemisms. They're not unhoused people. They're homeless people. You know, they're not, what's the term for criminals now? They are justice involved persons. Yeah, that's not what they are. They're crooks. They're criminals. Go back. We have a common language for it. But this is a kind of game. when they tried to take what we considered common sense or basic linguistic realities, like, what's a man? What's a woman? And literally, you laugh about it, but I kept thinking throughout this whole process, two plus two is five. Orwell warned us. Again, the Democrat Party apparently thought 1984 was a blueprint. It was a warning, folks. And frankly, if you've never watched the movie, if you've never read the book, it's... It's terrifying because we're living it now, and it's very frustrating. And pretty soon we'll be in Fahrenheit 451. Well, they're going to be burning our books. The leftists, they're the first group that love to destroy anything that oppresses, their particular opinion. And then they see it as oppression, not discussion, not debate, not argument. And they're obsessed with... Epstein. They're obsessed with January 6th. Well, there's something I think it's going to boomerang or what. Well, and it already had, you know, the Democrats, now again, let me go back to my friend Adelita Grohava. She's not my friend. I can't stand her. I have met her, but I don't like her. And all she has talked about is that she didn't get sworn in because. the Democrat, she's going to be the final vote in releasing the Epstein files. And one of the things that the Democrats did was they released a few emails that have, related to the Epstein case, that have Donald Trump's name in him, and they redacted. the victim named in these emails, even though her name had already been released. Her name is Virginia Guthrie. She is the one that you see in the famous photo with Prince Andrews. So what the Republicans did was they, the House Oversight Committee, who is systematically... sifting through all the Epstein stuff, they went ahead and released 23,000 pages of documents, including emails from the Epstein files, and guess what? Now we're finding out, for example, that the author Michael Wolf, as part of these emails, we found out that he's a guy who's written numerous Trump books, he hates Donald Trump, was encouraging and coaching

Jeffrey Epstein on how to try to blackmail Donald Trump. And this has gotten so bad that Jasmine Crockett, you know, a representative from... Texas, who got a new wig, by the way. Make sure you go and check her out. She's got a new wig and bigger eyelashes and fingernails than anybody I've ever seen. She actually got corrected live on CNN on the Wolf Blitzer Show because she was trying to talk about that Trump didn't want these files to be out and blah, blah, blah. And they're like, actually, Jazzy, the Republicans released all these emails. But, you know, and then. And then again, January 6th, we now know this is all coming out yesterday and today that the BBC deceptively, badly deceptively edited parts of Trump's speech on January 6th to make it sound that like he told all the Jan Sixers to go to the Capitol and be violent. So now two of their top people on the BBC, have stepped down. Trump is suing them. And you say, well, what does this have to do with America, right? The British broadcasting company. Actually, they're very influential here. I've actually been on them. And guess who supports them? Their number one supporter is the British government. Their number two supporter, you said the United States government. We're funneling millions of dollars to them. And who originally pointed this out? By the way, Kari Lake. And so we've got to stop giving money to these entities that want to do nothing but destroy the United States. I keep thinking back to... All the Democrats were so relieved that they beat Carrie. The interesting thing is, boy, did that come back to haunt them? Because now in her position, she's got this national soapbox where she's able to proclaim all these things and gets national attention. She's far better thought of outside of Arizona than she was in Arizona. And this was what they never thought about the ramification. You defeat her, yeah, I hear locally. But what happens is she becomes a national entity now, and she's right there to haunt them. And this is true of so many things. I think Mark Lamb may, you know, he's now throwing his hat in the ring for a congressional seat. And he's so well thought of in Arizona. But he's also very well thought of nationally. Absolutely. And we're very excited about his campaign. And that's the thing. You know, you have these. There's Republicans out there too that they have these purity tests. Oh, Kari Lake, she wasn't enough of this. She wasn't enough of that. She said a bad thing about John McCain. Well, great, guys. Because all of you Republicans who just thought Kari Lake just wasn't good enough for you, you now have that idiot Ruben Gallego, you know, who's on the same intellectual plane with Adelita Grohalva. And they're doing nothing good for the state of Arizona.

Great job, everybody. Right. Sometimes you have to step back from your emotional response, step back from your, you know, well, my guy didn't win the primary, so therefore I want to undermine this person without a single serious adult thought that, hey, you're about to put. somebody who is the antithesis of everything you value, everything you believe in the future of your grandchildren in charge because you're mad that your guy didn't win the primary or you're mad about the way this person dresses or acts. And to me, it's a very frustrating issue because we have to always remember that, look, there are key differences in our parties and there always have been from the very beginning. The question becomes... There is a contemporary schism, so to speak, is schizophrenia within both parties. The Democrats are trying to find their soul. They've lost it, and now they literally have become almost demonic in their love of government control. The Republicans, on the other hand, are trying to decide, excuse me, are we the party of McCain? Are we the party of Goldwater? Are we the party of Maga? And we're all sitting there instead of having, look, if you've got a complaint. Let's go sit down somewhere and discuss it, but let's don't go on Facebook and lament and hate and promote hatred for each other. We have plenty of hatred going on in this country, and it needs to be intra-party-wise. We need to debate and solve issues. But the point is this, is America, the Republicans are in charge of the White House. Republicans are in charge of the Senate. They're in charge of the House. Whether we can hold it or not depends exactly on the fact if we're going to be able to discuss debate. and unify. If we can't unify, the Democrats are going to take the House back. They're going to impeach Trump every two days. And they may even take the Senate. And then our country, we're totally screwed. All the things we dreamed of a year ago when we elected Trump are going to go by the wayside. And frankly, folks quit fighting each other and unite. And let's keep America going in a good direction.

man i tell you what great music from a great time you know uh Bill Buckmaster just went in, came in a minute ago, and he and my dog Remington absolutely adores him. And he is a legend in broadcasting here into Tucson, and he's retiring. And I think that's a great thing. Retiring from radio, not from life. Yes. Yeah, I wouldn't call him a retiring personality. No, he is so busy. You know, and that's a thing. You know, and we were just talking about this at the break. You know, here. Here in a place like Tucson, Arizona, there's a lot of, there's a lot of older people, you know. And I was just looking on next door this morning on the way into, I always see what's going on in my neighborhood and stuff. And I was like on next door, which if you don't know, that's kind of a social media platform just for people to get to know people around your neighborhood. And people, there was a guy who asked the question. Does anybody who live here, he's talking about the Tucson area, do you live comfortably in retirement and are you happy with it? And a bunch of people jumped on this post and said, yeah, I love it here. And I'm not really retired. And Dave and I get that question all the time. We're not retired. But, you know, we're both, you know, I'm retired from my police department. Dave's retired from police work and the private sector. But we're still working our butts off, but we're doing it on our terms. And I think that, you know, we're still contributing to the profession. We're still contributing politically. And I think that's one of the real keys to a successful... successful retirement is do you feel like you're still contributing? And if you just want to be a grandparent or you just want to be, you know, whatever, then go ahead and do it. But, you know, one of the things that I want to do is to be able to give back. And I'm trying to talk Dave into fostering rescue dogs. Everybody call right now to Dave Smith. We're not going to foster because we'll adopt. She thinks I'll end up with like 14 little rescue dogs. Not you, I can't. Once I fall in love with a dog, that's it, right, Rennie? Which is like instantly. You know, again, this is one of the things we have taught law enforcement. I've been speaking nationally since 1983. And one of the things I always tell young officers is get ready for your retirement because I know so many people and all of you do listening, they retire and die.

And back way back in the 70s, there was a Justice Department study of law enforcement officers, and most of them died within five years of retirement. We were unfit. We were, because law enforcement's primarily sedentary. There was no fitness programs back in that time. If I remember right, it was a... Kentucky's Department of Justice did the actual study. And one of the things that was an issue was the fact that, you know, when people retire and they just go adrift, you know, they suicide, they get, they drink, they do all these things. The people who didn't, the healthy cops, the healthy people were the people who they got out of law enforcement went right into something else in their life, whether it was being a good grandfather, good grandmother. running another business going off. I know so many cops now, and this is by the time I retired, it was not uncommon for somebody to retire and start a real estate business. Retire and start another business. Retire and go and do something working for somebody else. And so many of our friends, Betsy, and that's the thing we've seen, is they understand, look, the important thing in life is to have meaning in your life. If you can't get that from your family, if you can't get that, from the things you do then go out and find something else that gives your life meaning years ago i was interviewing a guy dr william zybrink who had studied the nature of survivorship in the in the military and he'd interviewed all these survivors prisoner wars and everything and one of his things was look everyone should have a mission in their life every one of you should have a reason to get up a reason to live because when you go into an an o me that adrift state that's what's that kills us. We need to have a meaning. And so go out and find your meaning. And one of the things here in Arizona has come help the Republican Party, people saying, well, you know, you didn't win in the Tucson election. No, we didn't. But you know what? We had heroic people who did run. And I absolutely revere the people who have the courage to go and get in the arena. You know, and we could read all these poems about the man in the arena, the woman in the arena. Well, the point is, is that don't sit there and criticize from the stands when you haven't gone out and played front line blocking for these people, who haven't gone out and done the support groups. And this is the thing. I know so many wonderful people that day to day, they never give up. And that's what I don't want. I don't want you to give up. I mean, get involved, not just politics, but in life, man. Have your mission. Absolutely. And, you know, it's if you're, if you're conservative here in Pima County, Arizona, it can be very frustrating with what we're dealing with, you know, politically. And so learn. How to get involved. There's so many, you know, these Facebook pages who are like, we need to have meetings of Republicans and talk about things we're going to do. We do that all the time. Go to PimaGOP.org. What's your reason? I mean, you can, whatever you want to call it. Mission is what law enforcement, military personnel, these kind of things. You know, you look at all these poor vets committing suicide, what I think we're up to 22 a day of these veterans committing suicide. And this is a problem. They're in Anomi. They're adrift. We don't prepare people for retirement. We don't, especially in our law enforcement and military background. We don't give these people the preparation to go out and be in the world. This is one of the things. This goes all the way back. I mean, my father was in Korea. When I was born, he had just shipped over to Korea and was with his Marines there. We used to talk about this Vietnam Veterans Syndrome. We see this psychological stress, his post-traumatic stress in the Vietnam veterans. And dad's theory was he spent a month with his Marines going over. He was the company Corman. He loved those guys. And they spent a month coming back. And so by the time they had this supportive camaraderie. They'd seen the suffering. They'd seen the death. They'd seen all these things. And they were together on this ship bonded. And so he said the problem with these Vietnam vets is they're sitting there there in denang in the morning and they're home in Des Moines two days later. And they haven't had that ability that peer support. that people in those kind of, those warriors needed. And this is something we tend to ignore in our society that peer support, supporting each other. We become very isolated and we don't talk enough. And I tell you what, social media is not friendly and it's not a way to improve your social contact. Nothing beats sitting there on the back porch with your feet up talking with each other. That's how humans heal. That's how they communicate. Yeah, Dave and I have encouraged so many of our law enforcement friends to move down here. And now we sit around and we don't just talk about police work. You know, but you commiserate and, you know, you try and remember the good times. Because law enforcement, too, we have, we die two and a half times by our own hand as we do by felonious assault. So, you know, we have a mental health problem as well. And so, you know, for everybody, you know, listening who is retired or thinking about it,

retirement, you know, plan for it. Get involved in something other than yourself. And again, if you don't know what that might be, you know what? Go down to pack and get yourself a dog. That's my answer to everything. Go to a rescue. Get a dog. Go to pack. Get a dog. Take care of something other than... yourself right remington smith exactly you know this is why i think what's happening with this young generation that is discovering the church again getting back involved with their faith uh because the modern life is very shallow very empty very isolated and You can't, you know, if you go to a therapist and they're going to tell you, how do you feel? How do you feel? You can spend all day worrying about how you feel and you're not going to feel any better. But what you do, how you initiate your action. And this is what you see. Get involved in your church. Get involved in your, you know, get involved in things. Get involved in scouting. Get involved in something. You know, we have all these groups that need help. So one of the things that I, and we only have a minute before the break, but I want to make sure that everybody knows what happened the other night at UC Berkeley, which used to be such a bastron of free speech and this and that. The final stop on Charlie Kirk's, it was going to be the final stop of Charlie Kirk's tour, campus tour. So a number of turning point. Folks went there. And Rob Schneider from Arizona, so it always goes back to Arizona. Rob Schneider, the comedian who now lives in Arizona, was going to be one of the speakers. And Antifa literally tried to take over this event. They failed, but... People got hurt. They were blowing off, you know, flashbangs and flares and this and that. And so Harmy Dylan, who is an assistant AG, she runs the Civil Rights Division for the Trump GOJ. She has demanded that UC Berkeley and the UC Berkeley Police Department preserve all their records regarding their response to all the mob violence at the Turning Point USA event in Berkeley. His socialist self, Bill de Blasio. I find that fascinating to me, that little square mile village has suddenly become a national attention with their mayor. And boom, she is. Wow, center stage and a love triangle there. He's still married. Well, and it's more than a triangle because he's also... How many sides does this have? He's also... in a relationship with Namiki Konst, who is now, she's a progressive kind of socialite, but that relationship is blowing up because of his newly announced relationship with the mayor of South Tucson, Arizona. Once again, we make national news for the dumbest news. I tell you what. Yeah, you know, this is what it's, it's fun, but in a way it's tragic because this is America. The most important thing we can talk about is how, you know, you just look at the headlines in some of these media. And you're like, really, that's what's important. That's what's important. And meanwhile, they're silent on so many other critical issues. But one hopes Bill de Blasio is finding blissful joy with his. his harem of leftist people, and God bless him, you know. Well, and now let's remember that he's married to a woman, and he loves to brag about he's married to a beautiful African-American woman who allegedly bilked the taxpayers of New York City out of, not millions, but allegedly about a billion dollars. And...

But Tucson's, South Tucson's mayor, there's a great article in the New York Post, her friends who are, I can't believe she's been in his friends. She has two little kids. She has a boyfriend, sort of, who he says they're just friends, but he's the father of her two-year-old. And I wonder, with her two-year-old and another. She has another young child, how she has time to run around with Bill de Blasio. But she, her friends are telling the New York Post anonymously that they are afraid that she is stalking him. Oh, wow. So now Bill de Blasio is 64 years old, and she's in her 30s. But come on. The city of South Tucson right now is famous because I don't think they have a single grocery store that's open in the city of South Tucson because Food City was forced to close. It's a... It's kind of a crap hole. There's kind of no other way to say it. But she's trying to become famous by posting all over social media as though she is a Kardashian and is much younger and thinner than she is. And she's trying to become Instagram famous. And so she's having a fling with the former mayor. of New York, a married man. Wow. Could we just not be embarrassed by our politicians for, I don't know, five or ten minutes, Dave, please, please. I tell you what, I think it's a habit. We just, as Arizonans, we just have a habit of let's, I know, let's elect the weirdest, dumbest person we can. You know, all you've got to do is go to a board of supervisors meeting. Here you've got this distinguished businessman and when you're looking, when you're sitting there in the audience, on the left side or the right side of the speaker is, of course, our esteemed, you know, Steve Christie, the businessman, the successful businessman, the only, the lone voice of reason on our board of supervisors, and the rest of them who've never really had a job that I can find, other than activism. You have the former head of the gay rights organization here, Canos, You have Jen Allen. Again, she represented a leftist organization. Rex Scott from the academic side of the shop. You know, this is, and of course the good doctor, I tell you what. He's an odd man, indeed. Mangala, I call him. The guy he should, if you didn't have a, God, I tell you what, Matt Jim Himes, he is the one that said that we should be, we should prosecute people for murder if they gave somebody COVID and they hadn't had a vaccine. And now we find out the vaccine people are the ones that might have to be prosecuted. So it's all pretty weird. And.

This is Tucson politics. This is Pima County politics. And I have to think that, yes, I don't believe that we are as bright blue as we come across. But again, you know, we tried to have observers in this last election, last, you know, in the first part of this month. And that we were refused. And because state law doesn't specifically say that even though we're the only county that doesn't allow the observers. And I mean, what could be hiding? I don't know. That's odd. It's all, again, low confidence in our election process, low confidence in our politicians, and frankly, it's just become such a frustration. Absolutely. And, you know, we can take control of this if we just decide to get involved. And I think that's... People get frustrated, but you can't give up. I hear so many people saying, well, that's it. We give up. That's a, that's weak, that's cowardly. And what's the point? We're Americans. And why would we give up? If it matters, you've got to fight for it. You know. It's one of those things where we, the politics is such, yes, I'm frustrated. I'm frustrated with both parties. The Democrats have lost their way. They appear to be going a pure, pure Marxist. fantasy uh the republicans we have a schism let's be honest we know we're in a we're in a big crisis are we going to be maga are we going to be uh mccane are we going to be if you want to call it establishment whatever the name calling is constant and it drives me crazy look we need to become republicans we need to re-evaluate what are our values what are the things we believe in the party was this created in 1854 specifically to preserve the, if you read the original platform, we really were created to guarantee that the Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence were lived up to by our government for all people, for all people. And also they were against expanding into Cuba. They were against all these things. You read it. And it sounds like a pretty good platform today. Let's keep our constitutional rights intact. Let's keep the government out of our lives. Let's keep the bureaucratic controls to a minimum, which is actually happening now. But meanwhile, we have people concerned about this. Are you going to support Israel? You're going to not support Israel. You're going to what do you think about this? What do you think about that? I support her. I support him. And thankfully... We are still in control of the government. If you want to maintain that control, you need to unify, you need to talk, you need to communicate. And frankly, if you've got something bad to say about a Republican, remember what Reagan said, you know, let's don't talk bad about Republicans. Let's do it in private if you have to. But so many people find that that Facebook, that's the key to go there and express their negative opinions. Not healthy. Stop it.

No, and get involved. Here's one of the reasons you should get involved. This was just announced. Everybody knows we had three University of Arizona students mowed down by a fellow student, you know, three killed the other day. Lewis Artal, who is driving a Porsche boxer. He was drunk. He was high, allegedly. Laura Conlover, our county prosecutor, just reduced the charges. against the man who killed these three U of A students. He was originally charged with three counts of second degree murder. This is from the October 30th crash that killed three University of Arizona students. On November 7th, he was indicted on three counts of manslaughter, one count of felony leaving the scene. And after reviewing all the information and evidence, it was determined that these charges need to be reduced. It's just, it's amazing. I have talked to so many victims and people, you know, a family of victims who, they all complain that they're trying to get. con lover laura to to react remember her folks it goes back to their philosophical base they don't believe in crime they don't believe that crime is created because of this uh the system is against the people and the people are simply reacting to it it's absurd but that's what we have here in pima county and the only way to change it'll be to vote it gang you got to change you got to throw her out And this case, now this case is going to be prosecuted by the Maricopa County Prosecutor's Office because one of the victims was actually a volunteer at our prosecutor's office. So hopefully this case will eventually be properly prosecuted. But, you know, again, this is a thing. It's just so. frustrating that here in what when I moved here was a fully red state that we continue to go further and further and further to the left. We need to take it back. Yeah, I got to tell you what. And as we wrap up here tomorrow, Kathleen Winn will be back. Now, one of the things I just want to say here, I know there was somebody discussing, and I thought this was interesting, we just celebrated Veterans Day, which I think is a wonderful thing. But one of the things that I heard was let's make it a national holiday if the kids get out of school and we celebrate. Amen to that. I think that would be a great thing.
