So there was some new video that emerged, and it contained about six minutes of footage before the deadly interaction between Alex Preddy and immigration enforcement agents in Minneapolis. And so I'll run through kind of what's in this video. There were a bunch of... protesters, about 15 of them, including Alex Preddy, who were there on the scene. They were not violent. There was lots of noise and all of that. They were recording what was going on, but they weren't, you know, attacking the agents or anything like that. Most of the immigration agents were outside of a donut store. Preddy is across the street from them near the opposite sidewalk. Two agents eventually confront him.

One pushes him back. He responds, don't touch me, you know, kind of puts his hands up, but doesn't, you know, do anything to the agent. He backs away and just keeps filming what's going on. Look like the agents were annoyed that there were people there protesting and filming while they were doing whatever it is they were doing. Agents then restrain one of the other individuals near Preti. It's not clear why. But there was that going on. And then after that, you see Predi helping direct and move traffic. One witness said he helped them find a place to park because it was kind of chaotic. You get the agents there. You get the protesters. And so he was just like, you know, telling cars, you can come by safely or, you know, she needed to find a place to park. He helped her. Then you have an agent walked over to where Preddy was standing with two other protesters, and that's when that agent pushes the woman to the ground. Now, I don't have audio as I'm watching this footage, so I can't see if something was said, but we saw the agent just walk up to that woman, push her to the ground. No, that six minutes of footage, you don't see her in it at all to know what the deal. I'm just curious. You don't see. You don't see. anything to me that would lead an agent to just walk up and shove somebody to the ground. Right. That's when Pretty steps in between the agent and the woman and he and another protester both try to help her up. And as he's doing this, the agent's praise, I'm like right in the face. In the face. And then you've got the other agents. They come over at that point. They throw him to the ground with pretty on his back. Someone sees the gun, which he had concealed on his back. And you hear the agent shout, gun, gun, gun. One of the agents removes it, and we talked about this yesterday, while another pulls out his firearm, shoots pretty in the back. And this was something that we didn't talk about yesterday, but really stood out to me. That agent pulls out his firearm and shoots pretty in the back, and he does so with seven other agents in the immediate vicinity. Right, standing right there. He couldn't hit anyone. Exactly. As the other agents begin to kind of move away after hearing the gunshot, Preddy gets up off the ground. He's kneeling at that point. And that's when the same agent, who's behind Prattie? He's not facing him. He's behind him. Fires about nine more shots and ends up killing Prattie. A full minute after the shots were fired, the agents were searching Prattie, so they're like patting him down because... They didn't know where the gun was. And you could hear one of them saying, where's the effing gun? Yeah. Yeah, I saw that part of it. Right, right. And that's kind of, you know, where the whole scene ends. So it was a little bit more information about what took place before. This idea that there was some riot that was going on in that area as, you know, all of this was beginning to unfold. It's just not the case based on the video.

There was no riot going on. It definitely seems like it was the ICE agents who escalated things. Yeah. And my guess is, and I'm just speculating here, they don't like the protesters with the whistles and all that kind of stuff. They don't like being videotaped while they're doing whatever it is they're doing and they grew frustrated and they thought they could just go and push people around and spray people and all of that. And then things got out of hand chaotic. and ended up with a death. Bringing our national correspondent, Rory O'Neill, who's reports brought to you by Mark, Spain, real estate. Rory, just so many developments out of Minnesota over the past 24 hours. I look at the president talking to both Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey. Everyone indicating the conversations went well, were productive. to be a fly on the wall for those calls. I can only imagine. And it seems clear everyone realizes that things have to change on the ground there. I mean, I realize this almost two weeks ago. I was saying things have to change on the ground there. But, you know, what do I know? But in the courts, in the courts, there are also things playing out there that could have an impact on what happens in Minnesota. Right, because there are these court battles going on in Minnesota, specifically asking a judge to get involved to issue some sort of an injunction that would stop Operation Metro Surge. The judge did ask for more information from prosecutors after yesterday's... arguments and they have a deadline of tomorrow to get that information submitted. But, you know, the judge was wondering whether or not they actually have the authority to issue some sort of an injunction here. So we'll see what happens. The fact that there were these calls yesterday, the messages from President Trump that they are on a similar wavelength is the quote, maybe things are starting to back down a bit. Yeah, and that's what I think we needed. It's been fascinating to watch how... certain things tied to immigration enforcement have been playing out in the courts. I had hoped to have a breakdown on some of that for everyone this morning. But then there were so many developments that unfolded yesterday. I'll try to get to it tomorrow. But we do have big changes coming regardless of these court cases. You've got the borders are, Tom Homan, headed to Minnesota, take charge of everything. And to me, look, I was not a fan at all. of this Border Patrol Chief Gregory Bovino. I just thought the way he was walking around there in Minneapolis, the way he was speaking. The coat. Yeah, I mean, some people were calling a Nazi coat. Like, I don't know what that was all about. I just, there was something about him that, to me, felt.

escalatory. Yeah, it was like he was trying too hard to be the tough guy. Yeah, whereas Tom Homan, first of all, he just is a tough guy. Right, exactly. And he's a serious guy. And I think he really seriously wants to target enforcement operations towards the most dangerous criminals who are here illegally in this country. So I think that's a big move. And Holman's going to be meeting with at least the mayor, Jacob Frye, when he gets there. Right. And I think that both sides have long respected Tom Homan. Yeah. President Obama gave him a medal. And so he's got a history there. Plus, he has a history of law enforcement. Secretary Kristi Noem has a history as a politician in Congress and his governor. But this really is Holman's field of expertise. And the fact that President Trump said in his true social post that Holman would be reporting directly to him is feeding all the speculation that Secretary Kristi Noem may not be around in office much longer. I don't think she's going to be. I wouldn't be surprised if she's one of the first Trump administration officials to go. Now, I don't know. It's been a year. Typically, you do start to see changes after that first year. So it wouldn't be unheard of. I don't think it's going to happen right now because I don't think Trump would want the optics of that. It would look like he's kind of giving in to the left and Trump doesn't like to do that. But I don't think she's going to be around much longer, nor should she be, after how she handled this, let alone a couple of other issues during her time as Department of Homeland Security Secretary and Republicans in Congress. I mean, if I were her, I would want to get out sooner rather than later because. They're calling for hearings. A number of them. And she's going to have to start testifying. I think the first one's already set for the beginning of March. Right. Questions about some department spending, the planes, the housing situation, Mr. Lewandowski, et cetera, et cetera. There's a lot there. And then FEMA, by the way, we should also mention, FEMA under her leadership, we're not really sure where that's going. Right, all right. So we posted the video of me talking about the Second Amendment issue, and I was just stunned to see so many people saying that Alex Freddie shouldn't have been carrying concealed firearm with him just because it was his right to do so. And I especially thought, you know, a lot of listeners to this show, this station. more second amendment people pro second amendment uh it was just weird to me watching Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on ms now uh saying you know hey

He's got a Second Amendment right. And then watching, you know, Kash Patel or Kristi Noem or Gregor Gregory Bovino, you know, he shouldn't have brought a gun. Like it was just, I don't know, I felt like I was in Bizarro world or something. So we posted that video of us talking about that yesterday on social media and we got a lot of reaction to it. Yes, we did. Especially on Instagram. That's where it seemed like we're getting the most reaction. You can follow us there at Ryan Gorman Show. The majority of commenters did. place the blame on Alex Preddy, arguing that, and this is a part I didn't get, that he interfered with law enforcement and provoked a dangerous situation. Now, I've watched a video how many times more than I would like because this is the problem with these stories. You're watching over and over again the death of somebody. You know what I mean? Sometimes we don't even think about that. Because we're talking about it. We want to get the story straight. And last night I watched the six minutes leading up to the deadly altercation. And this idea that he interfered with law enforcement. He was standing back. He was videoing them, but you're allowed to do that. That's a First Amendment right, too. And even when he was trying to help the woman, I didn't take that as interfering with law enforcement. The agent didn't go and try to arrest the woman in that moment. He just shoved her to the ground. Right. So Preddy's like helping her up. as he's getting pepper sprayed and all of that. So like the idea that he provoked something or interfered with law enforcement. Different from Renee Nicole Good, who was parked in the middle of the road and was actively trying to interfere with that operation. Right, absolutely. Then you had a number of different commenters saying that he was armed and he failed to notify officers that he had a firearm, that that was a mistake he made. Now, I have seen reports that Minnesota law doesn't require voluntary disclosure of a concealed weapon unless you're asked. So we'll get that cleared up by Stephen Katowski at 835. And this is a comment that we got on Facebook. Kevin said, first mistake, you don't go to a protest with a firearm and engaged with law enforcement. Right there, I just fundamentally disagree. I don't think he was engaging with law enforcement. No, he wasn't. He wasn't trying to interfere in anything. He was observing that. Yeah, he wasn't trying to talk to them. You kept backing away from them. Yeah, he didn't see. He hadn't said anything. He wasn't blocking traffic. He was on the other side of the street. Yeah. And then when the woman got pushed, that's when he went to go help her up. But he wasn't trying to get in the way of the officers doing anything. Right. And they came up and pepper sprayed him. And he never brandished the firearm. Never.

took the firearm out or anything like that. To me, he did what a responsible gun owner would do. And then... Kevin goes on to say, as people keep saying, you have the right to protest. Actually, you do not. You have the right to peacefully assemble. You do not have the right to put your hands on anybody. Who did he put his hands on? Yeah, nobody. I think a lot of times people, they either listen to the rhetoric from the politicians like Kristi Noem or something. I assume that she's telling the truth about what happened, and they're not actually even really watching the video for themselves, or they watch the video one time, they see what they want to see, or there's also videos out there that kind of... run through things with the wrong information. So wherever they're getting their information from, I think it's just wrong. And then they think that that's true without having any ability to actually look at the facts of what happened. Yeah, I saw a lot of the arguments that people were making in response on social media. It was like a straw man argument. It had nothing to do with what actually happened. And then they get upset with us because we're trying to present the facts. This is what Toby said. We've got to talk back from Toby in the Tampa Bay Area. Hey, Ryan, Toby from Tampa. times out of 100, I may or may not disagree with you. I'm not sure that makes any sense. I'm spot on with you right here. The previous administration lied to our faces repeatedly. This is obviously a violation of First and Second Amendment rights as a concealed carry permit holder in Florida. I agree with you 100%. You're spot on. All right. So he agrees with me 100%. Although usually 90 times out of 100, he may or may not disagree with me. Got to tell me. I appreciate you listening. So we saw a pretty big shift in stress. from the president as it relates to what's going on in Minneapolis. Why? Well, I think one of the reasons you just heard from Mark Caputo is because he didn't like what he was seeing from some of his administration officials in the aftermath of this latest immigration enforcement operation-related shooting. Also, you had some pretty notable politicians pushing back on what they were seeing from the Trump administration's immigration crackdown. I want to run through a few of them, and I'll start with Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt. who was asked this on CNN over the weekend. ...association, so I do want to ask about what's going on in Minnesota. Governor Waltz is demanding President Trump stop the crack down there. Are you comfortable with what the Trump administration is doing in Minnesota? Well, first off, this is a real tragedy, and I think the death of Americans, what we're seeing on TV, it's causing deep concerns over federal tactics and accountability. Americans don't like what they're seeing right now. But I want to step back for just a second because President Trump was elected to fix immigration issues. But now Americans are asking themselves, what is the end game? Is it to deport every single non-U.S. citizen? I don't think that's what Americans want.

And they all say that they have really low view numbers. In fact, the one on the Ryan Gorman Show account says it has zero views. And then you could see that there were some comments and some reaction, but it's very obvious that that content is being squashed. Yeah. So then I went on X and just searched for TikTok and I saw a whole bunch of people saying that their content is also being censored right now. And then there was an article about this woman. Her name is Meg Stalter. a comedian with 278,000 followers, and she said she deleted her TikTok because she said the app's new ownership is censoring videos critical of ICE. Now, TikTok is claiming there was a power outage that's causing all kinds of issues, but this new company or a combination of companies just took over TikTok. Also, there were a bunch of screenshots on X showing that the word EPS has been censored on TikTok, even in direct messages that people who are trying to type the word Epstein in a DM, they're getting a notification that it's, you know, not. Not permitted. What is going on? We're going to talk to Mike Duboskey, ABC News tech reporter tomorrow on the show about this, because I want to find out what's going on here. It was so obvious that our TikTok videos were being, what do they call that shadow band or something like that? And as of last night, and I haven't looked at it again today, but as of last night, we could only see our video on the Ryan Gorman Show TikTok if we were signed into the account. If I signed out and signed into another account, I can't even see it. This is us just kind of running through what happened. The most recent video we posted, it says, Alex Preti, what really happened? So that should be our first video that you see. But a lot of people are only seeing the video from the other day of your NFC and AFC picks. And that's what we did last night. Yes, it is. So we asked what you think about the decision for a lot of the ICE agents to leave Minneapolis in light of what happened. And we got some responses. One person said the agent's wives were demanding they come home, which I think is probably not unlikely. No, I'm sure some of those wives were worried about them and they've been away for a while. Yeah, absolutely.

Somebody said the Democrats are a bunch of certified nut jobs. With that being said, President Trump has the ability and obligation to lower the temperature of our nation at this point, which I think is right on. I think that's how a lot of people feel about it. It's out of control. They don't agree with what the Democrats have done at all, but they don't want any more killings. And can I just do something that's probably going to be pretty unpopular with a lot of people, but I'll do it anyway. As much as I disagree with different aspects about how he's handled this situation or just immigration enforcement in general in Minnesota, I do think that Tim Walz deserves a little credit for picking up the phone and calling Trump. I do. Yeah, I think so. Because that's what he did. And then they had a good conversation. And then I don't know who made the call or who set up the call with the Minneapolis mayor. But that was a good sign to me. Like, let's get on the same page here. Forget us out. Nobody wants what's happening right now. Somebody else said Trump is not backing down. It seems that Walls and Frey may be coming to their senses, not holding my breath on that, though. So kind of making it like that now they're going to do what Trump wants. then the border agents can leave. I think it might be a little bit of both. I think it's a little bit of both. And I do think I saw the media, the mainstream media running with that Trump's backing down. Like, you know, that narrative and everything. I don't know that that's the case.
