But with dog food, most brands keep that completely hidden. Just Food for Dogs does the opposite. They've built their entire brand around open kitchens. You can actually walk in and watch them prepare your dog's meals with real human-grade ingredients like chicken, beef, carrots, and peas cooked right there in front of you. No mystery, no behind the scenes you're not allowed to see. That kind of transparency is rare in the pet food world. And it's a big reason they've become the number one vet-recommended fresh dog food. earning trust from pet parents who want to feel confident in what they're feeding. When a brand is willing to show you exactly how your dog's food is made, it says a lot about the care, quality, and standards behind every meal they produce. Nothing to hide, everything to love. The Supreme Court ruled six to three that the Trump administration can end temporary protected status for immigrants from Haiti and Syria, clearing the way to revoke protections for more than a million people from 13 countries. Many residing in South Florida, Samuel Alito Samuel Alito, writing for the majority, said Congress barred courts from reviewing decisions to extend or terminate TPS and found Haitian plaintiffs' racial discrimination claims weren't strong enough to justify a lower court injunction. The ruling also removes legal obstacles to ending TPS for immigrants from countries like Venezuela, Honduras, and Afghanistan. I would hope we wouldn't be sending people back to Venezuela.

right now. Right, obviously. The key legal question here was whether courts are allowed to even review a decision by the executive branch on temporary protected status. It is not the court's fault that TPS is being removed from those groups, as some were making it out to be. That is a decision the Trump administration is making, and they have the power to make it. Congress... could change the law to allow for judicial reviews or they could pass a law to protect those groups from being deported. But that's not going to happen. Again, we see this too often where the court comes down with the ruling and it's like, oh my gosh, it's the court's fault that this is happening. No, no, no. This is a decision by the Trump administration and Congress has plenty of power to act if they could get their act together and if there was the will to do so. The Supreme Court ruled 7 to 2 that federal pesticide law. prevents consumers from using state courts to sue manufacturers for failing to warn about chemical risks when EPA approved labels do not include those warnings. The decision could block thousands of pending lawsuits from people who claim they developed cancer after exposure to pesticides such as Roundup. So the court, they were not deciding whether or not these products cause cancer. It was about a company being sued under state law for failing to include a warning that the EPA didn't require. So whose fault is this? The EPA in Congress. Right. That's where it falls. The EPA, they could require new warning labels. Congress could amend the law. Congress could require specific warning language by statute. They could give states greater authority to impose additional warning requirements. That's where the action needs to happen. So I kept seeing the headlines. Supreme Court siding with Monsanto and, you know, a big pesticide. Not what this was about. Time now to check in with our White House correspondent John Decker, whose reports brought you by Advocate Health Advisors, helping seniors make informed Medicare decisions that impact cost, quality, and access to care. Learn more at advocatehealthadvisors.com. So John, Supreme Court, handed down a couple of pretty consequential decisions yesterday. The one on... temporary protected status for immigrants from places like Haiti in Syria. That had more to do with whether the courts are even allowed to review a decision as opposed to anything tied to the temporary protected status designation itself, right? That's exactly right. And so what you can read into that is this, that if the next president of the United States is a Democrat and they have a different view of TPS, temporary protected status, they will likely have a different policy that would allow those types of individuals that you referenced from Haiti or from Syria or from Afghanistan or Venezuela.

to remain in the country and the executive branch the supreme court ruled in the majority decision written by samuelito that is the branch that can determine that and the only branch that can determine it what the supreme court says we really have no role in this whatsoever now the other branch that could have a say would be the legislative branch if they wanted to rewrite the law and pass it they could do that this this is another example and there was also an example of this in their ruling involving pesticide product lawsuits where the court can continues to say you know these issues not our job like this is up to the legislative branch or the executive branch in some sort of circumstances you're the ones who are supposed to handle this Well, that's exactly right. You know, the problem is, you know, in saying that for the Supreme Court, not the Supreme Court having a problem, but Congress. Congress can't pass an immigration bill. I mean, they've tried for so many years, so many different administrations, Republican and Democrat, I can think of all of the times in which this has tried to occur, and it has it. And so. That's what the Supreme Court says is the job of Congress. Whether Congress can do that is another story entirely. Yeah, I just, I hate seeing the reaction that I saw yesterday where it's all on the court for not, you know, keeping temporary protected status for those different migrants. And it's on the court for, you know, shooting down those lawsuits tied to big pesticide companies when really the court is saying, look, this is on the executive branch. It's their decision to end temporary protected status. Literally Congress, the way they wrote the law says we can't get involved in this. And then on the pesticide issue, it was basically, you know, the EPA, they can require a new warning label. Congress can amend the law that they passed, but this is not on us, and the EPA-approved label doesn't require those warnings be written on those kinds of products. How are you going to sue those companies over it? That's right. And so for all three cases that you referenced... they are all decided 6 to 3. The super conservative majority in the majority and those liberal justices in the minority. And, you know, this is why elections have consequences. You know, it's a super conservative majority because of President Donald Trump and the individuals that he's been able to name to the U.S. Supreme Court during his two terms in office. Last thing real quick, birthright citizenship. Are we expecting that today? I don't know. I think that, you know, what we've seen with this Supreme Court is the really consequential cases typically get decided on the final day of the court session. So maybe not today. You know, they also could potentially come back on Monday with that decision. Okay. I think that the president is bracing for defeat on that particular case. All right. Our White House correspondent, John Decker with us. John, thanks so much. Have a great weekend. Thanks, Brian.
