Do you think they might be the two same ones who are on the roof over there by Park Avenue? Remember that? They had a little... Democrat convention out there. I came, I don't know if it was I specifically, it was some sort of federal agents, and they're trying to talk to two folks who are believed to be in the country illegally, and I tell you what, the neighbors got, the Kamilib phone tree going, and you had people show up, angry people, making the... a progressive sign of unity and love, the extended middle finger, shouting at these federal agents up on top of the building with these two supposed illegal aliens. And, oh, you had Harry Bronson showed up. You had... uh samara brook she showed up um i can't remember the names of these people lunsford showed up uh de mon meek showed up it was like they all went over there and they were shouting at the federal agents and finally They literally, through crowd, intimidation, chased the federal agents out of that Park Avenue neighborhood. Would it just be something like a small world if those illegal aliens were the illegal aliens who took the 13-year-old girl to Chicago? And listen, what a wonderful cultural experience that must have been for that 13-year-old girl to visit exotic places. And you know what? in the company these illegal aliens, she could learn their native culture, maybe their native language. What a great, I don't know if you can get like a college credit for a field trip like that, but she'll probably speak at the next Democratic National Convention. Thank you for dissuading and impeding the efforts of federal immigration officers trying to kick these wonderful ambassadors from some faraway land out of our country. At any rate. Here's the thing I would just politely like to say in the description of this matter that she had willingly left her home and gone with these. It was September 11th.

Apparently, there were cameras around her house or in a house or something like that because she seems to sneak out of the house. And then she gets into an SUV, the containing three individuals. The U.S. Marshal Service gets after this and gets after it hard. And they locate the 13-year-old girl in Chicago, a founder on Saturday. She was specifically with an 18-year-old man and his father, both in this country illegally. You wonder why they took her? What do you think? What interested that 18-year-old have in that 13-year-old girl? I wonder. You'm saying? But about the notion that she left voluntarily. Of course, our law and morality teaches that she cannot leave voluntarily as she lacks the legal, intellectual, and moral capacity to consent to such a departure or to any other activity. Right? Here's the thing, though, this phenomenon is not unusual or rare at all. The notion of an illegal alien and a 13 or 14 or sometimes a 12-year-old girl, and that 13 or 14 or 12-year-old girl, certainly not this victim, but other ones and other situations have been taken, sometimes back to Mexico, and they will begin adult life, if you will, at about the same time. If they'd stayed in the United States, they'd be beginning junior high school. And, you know, I guess that maybe when we consider the opposition to immigration enforcement in this community, hey, Mayor Evans, did you see about the 13-year-old girl? It says Rochester. Maybe she lived in the city. Maybe this is one of your constituents who was unprotected because of your dumb-ass policies. It could be you don't know. What's that one blonde? Like Sarah Clark, is that it? Okay, Sarah Clark. Hey, Sarah Clark, you see what happened? This 13-year-old girl? No, you're all amnesty, right? Yeah, you're 100% amnesty. To the bone. You're out there protesting, demonstrating, chased away the ice. Yeah, that's kind of like a facilitator, aren't you? Or a compass, whatever. That's got to make you feel really good. See, here's sort of the problem of being an amnesty community. is that while I'm sure that these two illegal aliens merely came here avoiding persecution, looking for a better life, probably just not to work hard and do positive things. Hell, maybe join the Boy Scouts one day. I'm sorry, Boy Scouts don't exist anymore, but no doubt they are here to engage in socially positive things. Plus, take a 13-year-old girl. Here's what I'm waiting for. In addition to the rescue of this girl and the apprehension of the illegal aliens, I'd like to know what charges the illegal aliens will face. Because whatever happened, you take a minor child and you start hopscotch and state boundaries, it's hard for me to believe that in one of those states, somehow, some way, you didn't break some law, right? And likewise, if I was the Trump administration and I was looking for somebody to make an example of and a place to make them example, I would pick these two and I would pick Rochester. Because here you have demonstrated with two events, the rescue of the illegal aliens on the roof and the rescue of the 13-year-old girl taken by illegal aliens, you have two realities. And you have the undeniable fact that the one reality helps to facilitate the crime that led to the second reality. If the local Democrat political organization, Mayor Malik and all his little friends in the assembly, if they want to do everything they can to impede the enforcement. of immigration law. If you advertise to the world, dear illegal aliens come to Rochester because, one, we have Democrats who will shield you from ice, and two, we have 13-year-old girls for you to steal. I mean, that's plus when you add on top of that the free health care, the New York State gives, I tell you what, this is like a mecca, right? This is like a magnet.

When you impede the enforcement of law, you can only expect that there will be more violation of law. If there are those who have violated the law by being in your community and you stand between them and federal law enforcement officers, my dear Democrats, you can only expect that that shielding will only serve to lead to the violation of more laws. And again, I think that's illustrated here. By virtue of the fact that these illegal aliens felt comfortable in this community, they were able to make whatever contact was made. And this young lady ends up in the wind far away in Chicago. And that's something, to be honest with you, that, you know, we ought to go check the social media posts of our various progressive activists online and see what they have to say about it. A high in the low to mid-70s is anticipated at 65 at 821, and you're listening to News Radio, Wham, 1180. Well, apparently in the parlance of ABC Disney indefinitely means four days. Jimmy Kimmel last week was suspended from his late night talk show indefinitely. And four days later, in terms of four programs missed, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Monday. He will be back tonight, but not in Rochester, best we can tell. Sinclair Broadcasting Company, which owns Channel 13 and 31 other ABC-affiliated local stations across the country, has said that it's not going to play his show tonight, and it's going to need a lot of reassurance from ABC if it is ever to carry it again. Another company, Next Star, which has 30 ABC affiliates, and which coincidentally or locally, rather, owns Channel 8, Next Star, which last week said it was going to drop Jimmy Kimmel, has not said whether or not it will carry him back tonight. I tell you what, this was a short-lived period of penance. That's for sure. as a free speech and First Amendment martyr, he didn't have too hard a go, it looks like. At any rate, supposedly, according to the company, there were repeated earnest conversations between executives at ABC Disney and Mr. Kimmel and his production company, and somehow they decided everything was going to be swell, and so he will return tonight.

And, you know, it'll be curious to see what sort of tone he brings back. Last week, when the company first went to him and said, listen, folks were upset with what you said Monday night, he said, good, let's double down and come back at him again tonight. Whether that's the spirit he brings or not, we'll see. You'd think if you were just getting a second chance maybe on your career. If you just dodged a professional bullet, that maybe you'd come back grateful and humble. We'll see if that's the approach. Here's the deal. At the end of the day... people don't watch very many of those late night shows. That's not to put those shows down or to, you know, be snarky about them. Our viewing habits have changed. Our viewing options have dramatically increased. And, you know, if you're up at 1135 and you want to stare at a screen, there's a good chance that it's not going to be a network television screen. You have so many viewing options. You have so much time-shifted viewing. There's so much new programming on so many networks that really the anomaly of that sort of show from another era, I don't know if there are that many people in the audience. Mr. Kimmel, who had the largest audience for such a program in America, again, as we've said before, He has an aggregate audience of 1.8 million people in a country of 333 million people. That means less than one half of 1%. What that means is more than 99% of Americans never watched Jimmy Kimmel, which again isn't intended to be a slam on him. It's just a reality of how small that market is. And, you know, you can contrast him with some YouTube people, and they have dramatically bigger audiences. And it's just we've changed our viewing habits. What I think this does is it pushes back against the seeming threat from the FCC commissioner to possibly come after the licenses of... stations that carry Jimmy Kimmel or other programs that criticize the president. In that regard, I'm kind of grateful for the pushback because I think that threatening people's FCC licenses because, you know, their programming is critical of a politician is not the way America is supposed to be. And as to Jimmy Kimmel... In a free country, if we don't like him and I don't like him, then I just won't watch him, right? I'll watch something else. And those who do like him, they can watch him and they will be happy. That's how freedom works. Let's stop. Let's get a Joe Lasky newscast and be back when he's done on news radio Wham 1180.

It's congestion season. I just don't get why it's taking so long to get to work. This traffic is insane. The people are everywhere. Avoid congestion season. This is what I'm talking about. Rochester's weather and traffic station. News Radio, Wham, 1180. Are you to be a massive effort to potentially disrupt cell phone communications in the New York City area? The United States Secret Service, as part of a larger investigation, has stumbled upon a, and I'm ignorant of how to say these things, but a massive hidden telecom network. They have found 300 servers and 100,000 SIM cards. Each one of those SIM cards, I think, would be analogous to a cell phone. and the infrastructure to maybe double or triple the number of cell phones and the size of this network. It was found in various locations all around the New York City area within 35 miles specifically of the United Nations. What this telecom network would allow bad guys to do is, and the Secret Service says, that they believe that this was put up by a hostile nation state. It would allow the hostile nation state to communicate with criminal gangs or terrorists in the United States. It would also allow for this network to be used to make anonymous threats. Say, you know, your school's, you know, something bad is going to happen at your school or whatever. But the most significant potential threat is that this could be used to create a denial of service crash or collapse of the cell phone network. In New York City, the world runs on, you know, what an ignorant person like me calls cell phones. The emergency communications system is all based on cellular telephone technology. And what happened is that you'd have these 100,000 SIM cards. For example, one thing they could do, they're capable of sending 30 million text messages a minute. Right? So what this would do in a denial of service attack is that whoever controlled this network and the government has not yet said who they suspect or who it is if they haven't answered the question.

But whoever controlled this network could at any time crash the entire cell service for all of New York City. What that could possibly mean, we'll talk about in the moment, it's time now for traffic and weather on the tens on News Radio Wham 1180. It seems like this afternoon will probably be pretty dry. High in the low to mid-70s is forecast. It's 65 at 841, and you're listening to News Radio, Wham 1180. The discovery of this network was accidental, the best we know now. Again, the United States Secret Service saying this morning that it has discovered in the general area of New York City a massive hidden telecom network, which would have the capacity to generate 30 million text messages a minute. And for example, that could be one tooler mechanism that would be used, say, if you triggered your 100,000 SIM cards to send those 30 million text messages a minute, what you would do is you would overwhelm cell towers. It would be one of those denial of service attacks, and you would shut down cellular phone communications in the New York City area. Would you do that just to be a jerk? Oh, look, we've shut down your communications. Or might you do it in the context of some other hostile act you are planning? Maybe you want to break into a bank, or maybe with the United Nations General Assembly convening this afternoon, you have something more sinister in mind. But this is a big deal. It is a huge win defensively for the Secret Service, and I hope that soon we can find out who's behind this and what the story was. We are blessed by modern technology, but that same technology makes us vulnerable. If we lose this technology when we have built so much of our society on it, we are screwed. Right? A big one they always talk about is what if the GPS satellites go out? A lot works on GPS and a lot more works on cellular connection. So many of our emergency systems and other things. So what this was intended for, we don't know. But it kind of is sobering.

It is certainly a large and hostile effort. And New York City, which we learned in 2001, is so often the target for people who view the United States in a negative way. You wonder if New York City was to be the target again. And again, if they were able to construct a denial of service network in New York City. One wonders where else in the country might they have targeted or be targeting? Because while New York, you bet, is still our largest city, and to an extent it's still our financial capital, we have a lot of other big cities with a lot of other important things going on. And if these bad actors know how to have the sophistication and the wealth. to put together the mechanism for a structural attack like this in New York City. Again, you wonder, are these replicated across the country and could somebody with the push of a button shut down cellular service in the United States? Don't know all speculation, but this is kind of like the good guys found a ticking time bomb just before it went off. So God bless the United States Secret Service. This was a win. I yesterday afternoon had the best experience. There is up at Chalot a fireboat of the Rochester Fire Department. Marine One is its designation.

And it is staffed by the folks, the firefighters in the station up there, in shallot where Engine 19 is. At any rate, they were going out on a little training cruise, and I got to tag along. And it was amazing to see this boat. It was amazing to, well, we came up the river to Veterans Bridge and then went out the mouth of the river into Lake Ontario. to see the firefighters, to have them show, you know, and use the equipment that was on the boat. It's an extraordinary vessel, and they have a huge responsibility. They have tremendous capability. They have a great professionalism. On the fireboat for the Rochester Fire Department, there are two nozzles. I don't know the right word for it. One is on the front of the boat and the other is on the side so they can spray water either of those two directions. And they can spray a lot of water real fast. It was amazing to see. The boat is also extraordinarily maneuverable watching the firefighter navigate the vessel. was interesting. I've never been on a jet ski, and I'm not exactly sure how they turn or whatever else like that, but there's a wheel that the pilot of the vessel has, and there's down at his right hand there are two throttles for the two engines, and then beside the throttles are two additional little levers which sort of move little covers that move in front of the jets of water. And through all of that, they're able to, the boat is wildly nimble. And we went up the river, and there was coincidentally, you know, periodically a concrete boat from Canada comes in. And that ship was there. And it's huge, at least my experience, and the boats I've seen. And there it was up the river. And it was moored there. And how they get the concrete comes in as powder, and it is blown off the boat, the big ship. And there are these three hoses that connect, and they go up onto the bank and go off somewhere else. I have no idea. But these massive blowers blow the powdered concrete or cement or whatever you would call it through those pipes. And ultimately that unloads the vessel. It unhooks. It sort of backs out a ways to Turning Point. You know where Turning Point Park is? I'm an idiot. It turns out that Turning Point Park gets its name because that's where big ships on the Genesee River would turn. You come in, bow first, obviously. They get there. They moor. They unload the concrete. They back out a little bit to turning point. There's room for them to come all the way around, and then their bow forward, back out the Genesee River into Lake Ontario. But it was, Chief Stefano Napolitano was along, and it was, you know, for someone outside the fire service.

to listen to these gentlemen talk and, you know, they kind of razz each other a little bit. They talk about aspects of their careers. They talk about equipment on the boat. They talk about the fire service runs they've been on and such like that. And it's just an amazing, impressive thing to see. And the folks working at that firehouse there, they have engine 19. They're also responsible for manning the fireboat. And further, they've got like a, I think a couple of UTVs that there are so many trails along the gorge there at the north end. They are responsible for rescues or fires or whatever there. And if anybody's big yacht catches on fire, these are the folks who come. Anyway, I got to hang around with some heroes yesterday, and I was like a kid who was just amazing to see. I have pictures of it up at Facebook, Bob Lonsbury, and you can see them all there.
