Okay, all right, Davy, thanks. Good morning, my friend. Thank you so much for tuning in. Flat out, beautiful day for a radio program. I'm having one of those flashes of brilliance for which I'm broadly known. I'm really, really smart. But who was the Senator, Kristen Gillibrand? Because one is Chuck Schumer, and the other is Kristen Gillibrand. Yeah, I'm sorry. But Kristen Gillibrand, United States Senator, very, very important. By the way, didn't stand when asked if the prime purpose of government was protecting American citizens. But Kristen, is that her name? Gillibrand? That's such a distinctive name. Middle Eastern, or what is that?
Kristen Gillibrand says that the Batavia detention facility is overcrowded. They got the import expert thing over there, like you're illegally and they catch you, they take you there. She says it's overcrowded. Incredible. It's overcrowded. And also, apparently, they only have single-ply toilet paper over there, which is obviously a violation of one of the amendments. At any rate, I was hearing the story, and it's hard for me to contain my emotions. But they're telling us on the news that Kristen Gillibrand says that the Batavia Immigration Center has too many people in it. And again, I was about to choke up. And then I had a flash of brilliance. I have, listen, I, and I offer this to the government for free. I'm not like selling ideas because I'm a citizen. I'm just trying to give back. But I can solve this problem like that. Okay? Bob Lonsbury, idea man. You take the people who are in there now. The reason that it has too many people, according to Kristen, is because there are too many people in it. So to have fewer than too many people, you would take some of the current too many people and you would make them not be there anymore. Okay? You following me? Okay. No, I've got my Ments application right over here. I'm going to fill it out the next commercial break. So what we need to do is take some of the people who are there at the Batavia Immigration Detention Center and make it so that they are not there anymore. Okay? And then that would reduce the total number and that would like, I guess, make Kristen really, really happy. You know what I'm saying? No, that'd be wonderful, wonderful. So here's my idea. Deport their asses. Get them to hell out of our country. Right? No, I mean, this is a detention center. If it's too crowded, ma'am, if you don't want them in there, here's a thing. I don't know if you got a map there right with you at your office. Have one of your staffers or interns looking up. But actually, I've got a map right here. I'm going to just make this a little bit larger. Okay. Batavia. is in Genesee County, and then like, okay, so put them in a bus, or whatever, we could walk, it's not that far, and it's good for you. A few things are better for your health than walking. So, Genesee County, if you look at a map, you could then go to, and you got your pick, you could go to Niagara County or Erie County. And then you could go to Canada and just walk them up the border and say, hey, 51, your problem now. Maybe, maybe some of them know how to play hockey could help you out next Olympic time. I don't know. So, deport their ass. If the detention center has too many people in it, Kristen, get them out of here. Facilitate. Efficiency. We're about efficiency. Let us move, move, move, okay? Get them out of here.
This would be an ideal if we could only deport people faster who are not supposed to be in our country. We could alleviate the overcrowding at the detention center and make, what's your name, Julebrand feel great about life. So you're welcome. That's my idea. Fritz, glad you called, sir. Welcome to News Radio Wham 1180. Yes, sir. Good morning, Bob. To you as well, my friend. Ms. Senator Gillibrand is so worried about these four illegals up there in the detention center. I'm sure that whatever conditions they have there are much better in the conditions they came from, whatever country they came from. And if she's worried about overcrowding, every emergency room in the country is overcrowded because all these illegals are in there getting free health care for everything. I wouldn't, that's in part, true. I wouldn't chalk the entire emergency department problem up to that. But here's the thing. In my ride-in to work this morning. um in the last two blocks three blocks two blocks in the last two blocks of my drive i went past four homeless people right who are i'm going to guess i don't know they're probably americans the odds are if you're in america and you see a person the odds are that's an american person doesn't always have to be but probably is right The percentage, this is a true fact, the percentage of Americans in America is fairly high. It's like if you were to go to like that French place where the French people live, the incidents of French people in French country is likewise rather high. But I would just say if I go past four homeless folks in the last two blocks in my commute to work on the average morning, those folks in the overcrowded center, according to her, I suspect that they probably ran no risk of frostbite last night. They probably ran no risk of hypothermia last night. They probably didn't even shiver once. They probably were dry last night. They probably had dinner last night. They probably had breakfast this morning. When they wanted to go to the bathroom, they didn't have to go into an alley and squat down and humiliate themselves. They probably went into a restroom. Right? When they got thirsty, they did not have to walk to the library and go in and get a drink of water. They probably just stood up right there in the dormitory and it had some water right there. Maybe a little bit of Gatorade. I don't know. So, you know, everyone should be treated fine. I agree. but I'm pretty sure things are fine up there. And here's another thing I would like to say in terms of overcrowding. Madam, what's your name? Jillebrand? Okay. Is that Irish or whatever? I don't know. I don't know. But have you ever been aboard an American naval vessel, ma'am?
I mean, if you're talking overcrowding, like right now, is it, what's that, what's that? Forgive me, I can't remember which one it is, and I mean no disrespect. One of our aircraft carriers is something like eight months at sea right now. Is it the Gerald R. Ford? I don't know. But we have an aircraft carrier that's eight to ten months at sea right now. What about those American sailors? I had a privilege to be a guest of Uncle Sam for a while some many years ago to a place called Fort Knox, Kentucky, where we slept in open bay barracks, which were rather dramatically more crowded than what you described, ma'am. But we made it. It was okay. We were fine. And I think that our friends over at the Batavia detention facility would be just fine. And also, ma'am, I would say, as I say to all of our friends who are eagerly embracing illegal immigrants, maybe you've got some room up at your house, right? Maybe they could come stay with you. Maybe you could pick up the tab, fade them, stuff like that. Miami News, I don't know, running shoes are, all right, I'll shut my mouth. But as I sit here doing a radio talk show and a piece of crap talk show at that, I'll be honest with you. We've had it analyzed by scientists. But as I sit here doing a radio talk show in a city which chronically has one of the highest rates of childhood poverty in the United States of America. I'm not wasting a lot of emotion on people who are at the detention facility and who came into my country illegally. In my hierarchy of Give a Crap, it's fairly low. I'm not dismissing in any way the humanity of those people or anything else, but in my, what do I need to worry about today? Who do I care about today? What is my obligation of Give a Damn? To be honest with you, the folks in Batavia, no disrespect intended, my hermano, are not near the top of the list. And I would just say this, Kirsten Gillibrand. How long have you been a senator? And again, she was appointed. It was a deal worked out, believe it or not, by Alphonse de Mato, right? No, she used to be a pro NRA member of Congress. And Al Damado said, let's make her a senator. She got appointed and she's been useless ever since. But I just want to, it's been a number of years. I mean, do I have time here to, yeah, there's always time to ask AI. I'll just type in Kirsten, Kristen, it's all the same to me, right? Okay, Kirsten Gilbert. I just want to see when she became a United States senator. 2009, which is like, I don't know, 16, 17 years ago, right? So 16, 17 years, she's been the United States Senator for the state of New York. And by my personal observation, Rochester has been in the state of New York.
all of those years, okay? And I would just like to point out, ma'am, after going on almost 20 years of your service, the children of Rochester still live in some of the highest rates of poverty in the United States. So could you let me know, could you have a staff or get back to me and maybe you could schedule in when you're going to give a damn about them and when you're going to do something about them? Right? Or maybe little poor American kids are not, does that not, doesn't work for you or it's not a big deal or I don't know. So at any rate, so you think it's overcrowded at the detention facility in Batavia. My response would be tough S word. No, no, and now, ask a fifth grader what the S word is. He'll tell you. Take a break back in a moment on news radio, Wham 1180. From Tom Homan in Minnesota. I came into secret solutions, and that's what we're going to do. And another shutdown. Hopefully we won't have a shutdown. It's America, like you've never heard before. News Radio. Wham, 1180. B-Y-R-N-A, Burna. Burna is a self-defense implement. It looks really an awful lot like a semi-automatic handgun, and it operates at least in terms of functionality and similar point. a similar manner. Somebody threatens you or your family. There's like a pointy end of it. You stick that pointy end towards them. Then there's a squeezy part of it. You squeeze on that squeezy part. And all of a sudden you're going to lay a lot of hurt on them and they're going to leave you and your family alone. It's a self-defense device using pressurized air to fire a very hard plastic pellet, very fast into the bad guy. And the deal about Burna, yeah, you legal in all 50 states, don't need a permit, no waiting period, no kissing the hind end of some judge, nothing like that, you just go buy one. They've got them at Sportsman's Warehouse, indoor range. You could try it for free right today. A lot of gun stores, a lot of self-defense places, likewise have them. And the website, B-Y-R-N-A, B-R-N-A dot com, you can get them there, delivered right to your door. You know, I went on that vacation last week. I can't take my New York handgun across state lines, right? But I can take my Berna anywhere in the country, and I did. And last week, our prime self-defense implement was a Berna device. I recommend the same thing for your family, berna.com. Risk changes daily. Confidence comes from preparation. This October explored Gardner's latest security research and best practices. We through the morning have spoken a little bit about everybody's favorite Rochester City Court Judge, the Honorable Van Henri White.
Turn him loose, White, I think his name. Yesterday, of course, got a lot of attention. Adam Bello, County Executive, specifically criticized the actions of a judge who he mentioned by name. That's a very rare occurrence. And I think it indicates the high level of frustration that County Executive Bellow and others have. And the real danger, which is posed to this community by... This attitude of some judges who fail to use discretion. Listen, the law doesn't allow very much wiggle room for judges, right? There's not a lot of discretion, but there is some sometimes. And in these matters for which Van White has been criticized, there has been discretion which he has chosen not to exercise, right? Meaning that we can't blame this one on Jeremy Cooney. This one is on Van White. which gets us to the issue of Van White. How did he come to be in office? Because normally what it is is somebody wants to be a judge. And so they have to go to their political party, and the political party will engage in some process of vetting or screening, and then some vote, either of a committee or of primary voters or something like that. And then someone goes on the general election ballot, and the voters finally ultimately say that's who we want for our judge. I love that system. I believe that for our state court judges and city and county court judges, it's a very, very good thing, same for town and village. But that's not what happened with Van White. See, Van White is not really good at winning elections. I wonder what that means. I mean, it got elected to city school board repeatedly, but there are... I don't know. There are dismembered deer carcasses on the side of the road, which have been repeatedly elected to the Rochester City School Board, and to be honest with you, have found themselves the smartest, you know, member of the board. But, yeah, no, Van White said, I want to be a judge. And so the Democratic Party, its process for selecting candidates, convened and looked at it and said, come on. No, you said, no way in hell, buddy. And he still wanted to do it. So there was a primary. Okay. And in a primary, you asked Democrat voters across the city. And Van White was in the primary. And the voters were asked, you know, do you want Van White to be a city court judge? These voters particularly being a Democrat primary voters, right? And they said, ha ha. No way! You gotta be out of your friggin' mind! No way! Uh-uh! No! And Van lost the primary election. Right? That probably hurt his feelings. Probably was very harsh. Very hurt his feelings. So at any rate, there ended up an opening on city court. Somebody else got promoted, moved up.
And so Van White was appointed to Rochester City Court by Malik Evans, right? By Malik Evans. So this wasn't the voters. Can't blame them. This was the mayor. Okay? So, you know. I'm just saying, Malik, next time you're appointing, like judges, step back a little bit. Hey, maybe call Bellow, get some ideas, whatever like that, bounce it off your friends or whatever. You know, just see, think, talk, consult. But at any rate, and here's my hope. I hope that judges pay attention to this because you are not above public accountability and you are not above public question. And it's not just jackasses like me who are going to do it. One of the reasons I rejoice at what Adam Bello did was he has established a precedent. He has sent a message, certainly to Judge White, but to everybody whose first name is Judge, that if you get too wacky, I will call you out. Now, Adam Bellow can't fire you. He can't penalize you or circumscribe you or anything else like that if you're a judge. But he can embarrass you. He can call Channel 13. He can have him bring the camera back, and he can say your name. And so, your various honors, straighten up and fly right. Just something to think about. Take a break. Time for Dave Debo's newscast on News Radio Wham 1180. News Radio, Wham 1180, an iHeart radio station, guaranteed human.
Kushi, it's me, Soccer Sam, from Salvatore's Pizza. Thank you so much for making 2025 our best year yet. All our owners with their amazing staff work so hard with lots of pizza love. Kayla, Kevin, Santino, and Amir, appreciate all your support. From all of us at Salvatore's Pizza, we wish you and your family a happy and healthy new year. Do it with me. Salvatore! Here's exciting news from Palmer's Direct to You Market. Because of your support, Palmer's is expanding their store and bringing about, and this is a odd topic. I apologize. But first of all, there's some new polling in from Marist. It shows that fully one-third of people living in the state of New York. hope to leave the state within the next five years, dramatically higher than any other state in the nation. Their reasons, high cost of living and low quality of life. That's for the whole state. 86% of people responding to this mayor's poll say that you can't afford to raise a family in New York State. Specific reasons for leaving listed. 40% said it's too expensive. 21% said the quality of life is unacceptable. 15% said taxes are the prime thing driving them out. And 10% said politics was the prime thing driving them out. Anyway, this will see mod. But, no, let's talk to Radio Mike Oden. Well, tune in at 9 o'clock tonight, okay? And I will explain to you the sexual differences between men and women. No, I've not, from an evolutionary biology standpoint, that's no doubt coming. Radio Mike Oden, you seem unusually happy today, sir. Well, we got really good. Pizza from Salvatores today. That's the only kind they make, as far as I'm concerned, really good. Sometimes when I get a pizza from Salvatores and it's sitting there, I don't know what kind it is. What kind was this? This one was the chicken one. Okay. The chicken one. That's what I call it. That's one of the biggest sellers, no doubt. Lots of places, they got, well, that's pepperoni, and that's cheese, and that's all they got. But we ate pretty good from Salvatore today. You're saying that. Absolutely, yes. Last night, no, no. Late before last night, you're out raising hell, I believe. I went to Electric City in Buffalo to see Mergo Price. I'm, of course, dumb as a rock. Who's Margo Price, please? She's a country music singer. Uh-huh. And pretty good show? Yes, excellent show. You and your mom are big concert people. Kind of. You really appreciate live music. It would be a better way to say that. We're big concert for the right price people. Okay. And this was a pretty good price? It was $30 a ticket. That seems good.
Um, tell me this woman's name again, who performed, please? It was Margo Price. I'm looking her up. I'm going to see. I'm going to look at photographs, but you guys had fun. Did you go out to dinner or something, dinner while you were there or something? No. No? No, we went out there. The concert ended at around 11, and with the snow and what have you, and the roads. We got back home around like one. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Well, I would have eaten dinner nonetheless. Well, that's tremendous. So that was one concert, but I think you've been off for two days. Oh, well, again, that show ended at one. Had I had had to work yesterday, I would have had to get up at five. Yeah. So I took both. Oh. The Tuesday and the Wednesday off. Oh, okay. During which, yesterday, I took our very rusty and very broken microwave to the eco park out by the airport and got rid of that. That's very conscientious. During the one of two days that that place is open. You know, you just throw that in the river, right? I mean, don't tell the DEC, obviously. Obviously, obviously. Well, here's the thing, the night before last year were watching this performer Margo Price. Yes. Okay. So what did you do? Do you DVR the state of the union address or what? I know you wouldn't want to miss Trump. So they actually were still concerting while Don Trump was speaking? Yes. Believe it or not, the world did move on. The world was still turning. Things were still going on while he was talking. Okay. Yeah. You think. Everybody didn't grind to all and say, hey, let's see what this guy's rambling about. Some of us was a very, very moving, moving event, sir. Well, that's very nice. And so you went to a concert and you went to the recycling place. Yes. That's an action-packed weekend right there, Slick. You've been all right lately? How's life going? Yeah, for the most part, things are all right? For the most part. Find any cool pieces of history or learning new stuff from around here? How's that going? Well, a couple Saturdays ago, we went to the way back in 1994, there was a documentary made called End of the Line based on the Robster Subway. Okay. And they recently redid that. And it's been running at the Little sold out for like three weeks now. Wow. So Saturday before last, we went to the second showing of it. When you go to The Little, do you kind of throw the name around a little bit and say, hey, I work with Bob Lonsbury. Is that you do that at the Little?
I mean, anywhere in the East End, buddy, not just a little. You say, oh, everybody, I'm a wham. Yeah, I'm with the Lonsbury show. Move you right to the front of the line, buddy. Well, how was the, no, we've got a lot of fans over there, no doubt about it. I believe that's taxpayer subsidized. But how was the documentary? Very good. Okay. Very good. It was mostly the same as the original, but they added some additional parts. They redid a lot of the footage. Most of the, did it include a visit to the subway bed? Yes. Yeah. Most of the graffiti is probably new since 94, right? It is, yes. Yeah, I'm looking out here. A UH1, a Huey just kind of flew fairly close to our building. What do it that's about? Probably some training mission maybe? If it was a sniper, the glass would be broken out already. What was your theory? I said maybe a... Training mission? Maybe. If so, don't fly so close to the buildings. I'm just trying to train the guy here, buddy. Trying to mentor him a little bit. Back off the buildings, pal! Very good. Here's the thing. I just want to say, Radio Mike Oden, there's some of us who don't think 1994 was all that long ago. Well, it wasn't. Okay, thank you. But in the age of media, it was. That was still standard definition. That was still tape. It was way, way long ago in the world of audio effects and video effects. There's a fair chance, Radio Mike. In 1994, you were not yet toilet trained. There was a good chance to that, yes. Yeah, because you're 32, right? 33. 33? Yeah, you're getting close. You probably were. I don't know. That was right around the time, yes. Okay. Be sure and ask. And then I believe was also the very first year that you hosted this show. As a substitute, as a fill-in. Yes. That's pretty good. Let me see. Iran, war. Yes or no? No. You're not in favor of that? No. Okay. Have you, the hockey team situation, your thoughts there? Well, we won. Yes. Very good. And the captain of that one was Austin Matthews, who is the captain of my team, the Toronto Maple Leafs. So that was good. Outstanding. Yeah, yeah. Did you watch that, the men's game, right? Why, of course. Yeah. It's, I mean, I don't know hockey. This is a question. We didn't do all that well. We had a great goalie, and then it ended very happily. Is that how it went? More or less, Canada dominated the first bit of that game, but Connor Tellbuck, the goalie was very good. Probably the best game he's ever had at possibly any level, at least professionally. And for which he... And he basically...
kept us in that game 100% 100% for which he will shortly get the presidential medal of freedom something like that that's something like that yeah I saw a thing by the way a poll shows that Josh Allen is the most popular best like NFL player in the country ooh mm-hmm Yeah, unfortunately still, there's no, you don't get a ring for that. No, no. That's too bad. We would like a ring. Very good. Did you watch the women's game? I did, yes. Also pretty good? Yes, very good. We were, how about this? Kind of the same situation as the men's game only with the women's game. Team Canada is so old that once they got to overtime and it went on, and it went to three on three, team USA was just so much faster than them, it didn't matter. Outstanding. A win's a win. All right, my friend, I appreciate it. That's Radio Mike Oden right there. Listeners on the looses next 2-2-2180 is the number. This is News Radio Wham 1180. From ICE. Conduct from ICE. If you're like me, you need to be caught up on stuff. And me, I thought you lose your teeth, you get dentures, okay? And fortunately, they're made out of, like, tooth-type stuff instead of like Ben Franklin or George Washington or your grandma had. So dentures are fine. If it's 1972. But if it's today... You're on news radio, Wham 1180.
The highlighted Gillibrand's tenure, I think, was February 2019 on a campaign stop in Iowa City. She was in the way of some poor lady that just wanted ranch dressing for pizza, not even blue cheese. Here's the deal. I know we've got this back and forth, and kind of as a token of my open heart, I'll eat either ranch or blue cheese. Okay, but only ranch if we're out of blue cheese. Hello? You're on news radio where I'm 1180. Yeah, Bob, to solve the problem of letting these people out of jail early, you know, the Dan White thing. Yeah. I think these people should stay at Van White's house for a day or two. The more serious crime, the longer they stay, and when they're, you know, he feels free to let them go, let them out. Yeah, I think it's a great idea. Two thumbs up on that. Put some cots in there, whatever else like that. Get some little steamer tables so you can feed them and just release them directly to the judge's home. I think that's a wonderful idea. I appreciate your commitment to rehabilitation. Hello? You're on News Radio Wham 1180. Yeah, Bob. Yeah. I was just thinking with the course the big show's been taken lately, maybe the theme song should be this. I have to stop that very quickly because that's trademarked music that you were just playing on the air, and I'm sure bad things will happen with lawyers now. Thanks a lot. Hello? You're on News Radio Wham 1180. He sits in the fourth grade classroom, smiles when called on, nods like he understands. But the words on the page, they won't speak. He's been passed along each year, not because he's ready, but because the system failed him. And the statistics are grim. Children who can't read by fourth grade are far more likely to struggle at every subject, all behind your peers. drop out of high school and face unemployment or poverty as adults. And become Democrat voters. That's why it's crucial to teach your children how to read. Hello, you're on news radio Wham 1180. Hey, Bob. Yeah.
Sure, Madam Congresswoman. Cuba, they call Democrat socialism. Me and Uncle Bernie will bring it to United States. Can I say this? One thing in Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, of course, she probably wasn't even there, but Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was not at that talk the other night shouting things or wearing foul language pins or whatever else like that to her credit. I wonder if she was even there. Maybe she didn't go, hello, you're on news radio Wham 1180. Hey, Bob, what happened to Newman at 9 o'clock? Um, yeah, I don't know. Uh, I, I think he's fine. Hello, you're on news radio where I'm 1180. Yeah, Bob, the management problem. You tell me the common denominator, the school board, the city school board, and now the judge of our board. What's the common denominator, Bob? Hmm. Let me look that up under a fish rots from the head. See if I can get any wisdom there. 2-2-1-18 is the number. Hello? You're on news radio. Wham 1180? It's Kathy Suckold. Oh, yeah. I just wanted to let everybody know as soon as I get reelected at a landslide. I am going to give me everything you want. All the tax increases, you name it. Here's the thing. Socialists hate businesses and property owners. Because businesses operate in a free market capitalistic world. And property owners, of course, that's completely unacceptable in a socialist world. The state owns property and then parcels it out as it will. You don't own property. And it's no coincidence that the socialist mayor of New York City has proposed dramatic increase in taxes either on the wealthy folks, business people, or on homeowners. You either have a big rich person tax on top of the other rich person tax, or you raise property tax in New York City 9.5%. It's not a coincidence that the targets of his proposed tax raises are those two groups of people who are most hated by socialists. Hello, you're our news radio, Wham 1180. Bob, did you ever think that John Fetterman would beat Dr. Oz back in the election, especially when he was acting so screwy, but having turned out to be halfway normal like he is now? Here's the thing about John Fetterman. I never would have thought that John Fetterman would have beat Dr. Oz. And I never would have thought that a year or two later, I would be glad that it went that way. Oz would make a great senator. I respect Oz. John Fetterman, and this is going to be odd, because there are some Republican senators I do like a lot, right? But I probably trust.
Senator John Fetterman out of Pennsylvania, a mentally ill, brain-damaged Democrat more than any other member of the United States Senate. And I don't mean that to be snarky. I'm not putting down the Senate or John Fetterman. But John Fetterman, by the way, some numbers, I wrote him down, we'll get him to tomorrow. John Fetterman is dramatically more popular with Republicans in Pennsylvania than with the Democrats who initially sent him to Washington. Hello, you're on news radio, Wham, 1180. Rambling is where you repeat yourself. Trump didn't repeat himself at all. Where Joey rambled and mumbled. Those who say that Trump is like diminished by age are 100% wrong. Listen, you can criticize Trump for any number of things. But you can't say that he's too old. That demonstration the other night, hour and 45 minutes of masterful presentation, yeah, that is not a man who is mentally or physically diminished. Hello? You're on News Radio Wham 1180. Bobby, what I'm about to say, I mean sincerely. Okay. Remember the main. Remember the main. Remember the main. I thought of that last night. They shot up that little boat from America. Yesterday did the Cuba Shore Patrol. Remember the Maine. Now, it could have just been a coal, a dusty coal locker, or whatever they called, where they kept the coal on the ship that caused that explosion. But we remember how it went, and it didn't go well for Cuba. And if Teddy Roosevelt's putting together some more rough riders, I'd like to scrub in if I could. Last caller of the day. Hello, you're on News Radio, Wham 1180? I don't believe Donald J. Trump used bad language. We called out the square-headed BDI jackass Democrats. Nor do I, brother.
