Thanks, Ted. I appreciate that. Good morning, my friend. Thank you so much for tuning in, flat out beautiful day for radio program and a good weekend to follow, I suspect. I want to be joined by a member of the United States House of Representatives, the Honorable Claudia Tenney. Ma'am, hello, welcome to the broadcast. Well, good afternoon. Great to be on. Oh, it's not afternoon yet. Jesus, it's only 11. I got up at 5. It's very nice, ma'am. Is that afternoon yet? No, we welcome to the Army of the early risers. Yeah, well, I haven't been able to run because of my hip, so I feel every time I see you post stuff, I'm like, oh, God. You know, speaking to which, the Army 10-mileers coming up in October, ma'am, you've got plenty of time to get ready. Well, the Marine Corps Marathon is coming up too, but they also have a 10K. Not any more. They got rid of that. Not that anyone cares. They got rid of 10K, but I did do it when my son was actually at TBS, the basic school for Marines, and he was on the course. So I got to see him at like the sixth mile mark. It was hard to find him. That is so cool. That's outstanding. That's tremendous. Not that anyone cares about this, and we're way off course. But at last year's Marine Corps Marathon, there's a gentleman from Rochester who has run it almost every year since he came back from Vietnam. And I have coincidentally seen him like four or five years out on the course. We'd be running it. He's had some health problems. And so he was volunteering down there with the VFW post picking up litter and stuff. And I'm running by. We're about two or three miles in. And there he was off in the crowd on the side. And I went over and saw him. So anyway, seeing people in that mass is hard to do. But we both got blessed in that regard. That's amazing. It is hard because there's so many people. It's like I helped my sister finish the New York City Marathon. once because I did the last eight miles with her. I'm like, how am I going to find her? And amazingly, I did. And I got her through the rest of it, so she finished it. But that was, I've actually never run a marathon. I've done a half marathon, but not a full marathon. Half is plenty. Or, again, that Army 10-miler, if you feel like it. Oh, God, this sounds like brutal. You can join the Lonsbury family crowd. We'll be there. Lots of folks. Did they have a Medicare division where I can go? Here's a deal. I would think as a member of the house, you ought to be able to somehow get a golf cart in there, something like that, you know? No, not doing that. I'd rather walk than have a golf cart in there. You're a good lady. This Claudia Taney, of course, she's a member of Congress. You've got a concern New York wants to take Medicaid and do something with it? Yeah, here it is again. The Democrats want automatic registration, you know, voter registration using Medicaid. Now, this is a state that can never get its Medicaid in order. We have the highest fraud abuse and waste of any other state. I think it was Janapoli, who is our state controller, found that approximately over...

500, actually, it's 509 million to be exact. And Medicaid managed care payments were tied to 155 individuals who no longer live in the state in New York. So we're going to automatically register people. And we can't even keep track of the people we have. We're spending money on people that don't live in the state anymore using taxpayer dollars. And audits have shown that over 631,000 records were not properly submitted for federal verification. because of the Social Security data is inadequate. So how are we allowing this now to automatically register? And it's bad for two reasons. Number one, the people with Medicaid have enough of a problem. They're obviously not doing a great job. They're incompetent. We have all kinds of fraud, abuse and waste when it comes to that, wasting taxpayer dollars, all kinds of things that we could discover and will discover. I had a whistleblower in my office today actually talking about that. But the other thing is when it comes to voter data. It is so important that we get accurate data, that we have competent administration of our elections, and we have the public trust. Right now, Albany is not giving New Yorkers any comfort in how we're administering elections. And I went through this. I went through it in 2020, and we've seen how the Democrats are willing to react and how they're going on about redistricting. But we are in a situation where... We need the people who are administering elections who need to be trained and be experts focusing on that. We do not want people who should be focusing on Medicaid and other areas getting mission creep and moving over to try to be voter registration data, you know, experts because they don't know anything about it and it's just going to be advancing the fraud abuse and waste into our election system, which already has issues, though in some ways our state laws aren't terrible. They're actually pretty good. It's Article 2 or Section 2 of our state constitution governs how we administer elections. And we need to have those people handle elections and clean up our Medicaid on the other side. I wonder too, and you're a nicer person than I am. I would note that folks who participate in Medicaid rather disproportionately tend to vote Democrat. And so the Democrat-controlled state government creates this automatic enrollment apparatus which would politically favor it, it seems. Of course, and this is the problem. The Medicaid program was designed for people who are truly needy. And even our state constitution says that we provide for people who are truly needy, including seniors, people of special needs, people who we know aren't able to care for themselves, who are dependent on us. And New Yorkers are generous. We want to help those people. But when that system doesn't have checks and balances to the taxpayers and we allow people to come in and take advantage of it, and really do not have proper vetting. We don't have proper oversight. The Inspector General doesn't do anything about it. The Attorney General covers up for a lot of this from what I'm hearing. I don't know. We're going to try to dig into that, but those are allegations that have been made against her. We need to make sure that we protect the taxpayers as well. The taxpayers in New York are very generous. I'll just give you an example, Bob. I left this New York State legislature in 2016. The budget was about $146 billion. We're looking at $268 billion. Our taxes have not gone down. We have less people who are contributing to our base. We've lost over 660, I think it's 660 billion in wealth, have left New York State, gone to Florida, Texas, states with friendlier tax schemes. And guess what we have now? We have less people paying more taxes.

uh because of redistricting not because the maps are fair go look at them they all look like my district is is just massive and long you know stringy district looks a lot like the old assembly district the democrats created in 2012 in the last round of redistricting and they're talking about going again into redistricting in 2028 even though we don't have another census until 2030 so when it comes to manipulating and and taking advantage of of their political clout that they have in albany Nothing stops them from doing that. We'll see if they do it again. But right now, they have to pass something in the state legislature that would come up. I believe at some time this year they have to pass one. They've got to pass another one in 27 and then they can redistrict in 2028. And I'm going to tell you this is my guess because I know how the horse trading goes in Albany. Kathy Hochul is probably going to give them a sweetener. She's going to say, I'm going to give you guys a constitutional change so that you can get rid of the independent redistricting as a sweetener to vote for the budget. And then they're going to get the budget done, and they're going to go back and take care of and get rid of the independent redistricting that they supported and the people of the state in New York and a two-to-one Democrat state supported. So it isn't about, it's all about raw power. It isn't about fairness to the people or fairness to anyone. It's about taking power and taking money from the taxpayers, ultimately. It's Claudia Tenney. Good morning, Bob. Thanks for having me on and welcome back. Thank you so much. I apologize for being away last Friday. I was off in Albany. You and your bride are doing well? Doing well, thank God. You sound tremendous today. Is that the sunshine? Where does she have you? Oh, I'm at Waddingham, but it's just something about sunshine. Yeah. There's also something about Wegmans. Does your sweetheart, does she do her grocery shopping on Friday mornings? Well, actually, we can grocery shop almost every day. Yeah. Yeah. If I haven't stopped at Wegmans on any given day, it's not like I've lived. I feel like I'm missing out on something. So do I. You know, I got a lot of customers here. People get the poems? Oh, yeah. How do you do it there? What's your approach? Well, once I got, once I got their phone number, they're locked in. So I just sent home so they phone. That's a smart use of technology. Real smart use of technology. Anything? Go ahead. I got quite a few people who helped me, even on the outside. I got a lot of friends, bottom line, and they helped me get these palms out. Good. Because I know I cannot do this on my own. On my contacts right now, I've got like 1,700 people, and I know I cannot reach everybody. I wish there was a shortcut to do that. And I have several veterans. who I send poems to. That's excellent. Do you, like, have a set up so you can just, like, send a poem to everybody all at once, or do you have to do it individually, or how does that work? I usually do it individually, but someone probably has to show me how to do that. That will save me a whole lot of time. Yeah. You need to find a 12-year-old. They know how to do all these things.

Yeah, I don't know how to do it either, but here's one thing I notice. Like on holidays, you'll have certain friends who will send you a greeting. And I know what they're doing is that somehow they figured out how to send a happy holiday, whatever the holiday is, to everybody in their address book. Which is a great way to annoy people, if nothing else. That's a good idea. I have, God has blessed me with so many. several young people who I'm able to send poems to. Excellent. I have several young people who I share phones with. That's tremendous. That's very, very good. Very good. You have your morning devotional yet? What did you read in the Bible this morning? You know, I didn't get a chance to. Well, I did have a chance, but I did. Read anything yet this morning? But I'm still going back and forth into the book of Proverbs, the Book of Wisdom and instructions. I really enjoy the book of Proverbs. Yeah. Yeah. What's that one, forgive me. And I feel bad because everybody learned this when they're a little kid in Sunday school except me. Verse one, lean not under your own understanding. What's that verse? And all of your ways... Bleda Proverbs 3, 5, and 6 somewhere around there. Yeah. Just the Lord with all that, lean that into it, I don't understand him. Yeah. And all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct his path. Yeah. Yeah, I thought Proverbs, 5, and 6th. I've been thinking about that one a lot lately, or I want to think about it more often, because there will be times in life when things won't make sense, right? When, you know, and sometimes matters of faith, it's like, man, I can't quite wrap my head around that. And I appreciate that counsel. Lean not under thine own understanding, right? Don't worry, God's got this. And I find that useful and comforting. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. That's a good place to start when you're beginning Christian. There's a book of wisdom and instruction. What's that other one? What is the price of a virtuous woman? Is it something more than rubies? I can't remember what that one's like. I know that was in seven. I knew that when I was a younger man because we all had that one memorized. We're out there looking for that girl back in the day. Well, it's good that we look for them because the Bible's a man who finds a wife finds a good thing. The women are not supposed to come looking for. We're supposed to go looking for them. Huh. But they can, it's okay, I think, if they, like, wink at your wave. I think that's okay. I mean, I'm in favor of that. Here's a deal. Proverbs and Ecclesiastes, both books of wisdom, and they're also handy in that you just like, you could almost take them one verse at a time. There's not necessarily a story that's told or a narrative that plays out. It's just these bits of wisdom that Solomon collected. Yes.

Very wise man. Yep. Very wise man. Let me ask you this. His dad, David, at the end of the day, was David a good guy or a bad guy? David was good sometimes and he was bad a lot of times. He was... Especially when he had... Oh, Bathsheba. He had... Uriah. Uriah's wife. And Erya was a faithful warrior for David. But he had him killed because he had... Impregnated his wife. He had a baby by his wife. He tried to have him killed. David's out walking on his roof at night. And he sees Bathsheba, this beautiful lady, she's out, I don't know, she's taking a bath someplace somehow. He sees her, has inappropriate thoughts about her, calls for her. And Uriah is a soldier in the army. And David gets Bathsheba pregnant. And then quick, Uriah come home from the war. And he tries to get Uriah to go home and spend the night with his wife. So, okay, he'll think it's his baby. But instead, Uri is such a faithful man. He says, no, I'm going to sleep here on the floor at your palace, my king. And I couldn't go home to my wife when my men are in the field. And Uriah is such a great guy. And then ultimately, what does David have done to Uriah? Uriah was killed. They put him in front line, and he was killed. Yeah, David says, okay, go back to war, and then tells you guys put him where he's going to get killed. So here's the thing. David was a guy who the Lord could use, but David probably should have paid attention to what the Lord wanted to be a little more often than he did. But here's thing, that baby ended up being King Solomon, so, you know, something came of it. Yeah, you have a poem for us, sir? Yeah, the title of this poem is, you know, I've been seeing and hearing these messages all over the place, too, and it's not good. And the title of this poem is, if not for him, what if Jesus was aborted? Where would I be today? But God sent forth his only son to die for me one day. He looked beyond all my faults and saw my every need. He sent his son to rescue those who put their trust in thee. Who gave you this permission to kill without a cause? This murder is not the will of God. I urge you now to pause. There is a day of judgment confessed to Christ this day. Forgiveness comes from Jesus Christ. There is no other way. Behold the Lord is speaking. The choice is yours, my friend. Come now, come now in Jesus' name. And new life will begin. To God be the glory. Amen to that. Amen to that. That's great Marvin T. Interesting point. May they never have to stand before a draft board. May we have no more draft boards in America. May we and the world live at peace. And should we not be at peace, may we have enough red-blooded, real American youth to stand up and say, I'll go take care of that so that we won't have to draft the Democrats. Hello?
