There is an arrested a shooting that let the candidate name of a woman in critical condition. Police say 50-year-old Senator Wayne of Elmira opened fire on a 67-year-old woman at her Center Street apartment yesterday afternoon, hitting her in the torso. The victim was airlifted to strong hospital. Wayne allegedly fled the scene before leading a chase that ended when he crashed into a parked car on Milton Street in Geneva. He faces attempted murder and assault charges. Anthony Panazowitz, News Radio, Waym 1180. Rochester man sent to the hospital after an overnight stamping on the city's northeast side. Police said the 33-year-old was slashed in the upper torso on Clifford Avenue near Morton Street and around one this morning. He was taken by private vehicle to Rochester General and is expected to survive. Officers surrounded a nearby home and closed roads for several hours, but they are back open. No one has been arrested.

A Rochester man charged in a deadly shooting on the city's west side could enter a guilty plea today. 37-year-old Terrence Wright allegedly gunned down 36-year-old Richard Golwitzer in a wooded area off Orchard Street in May of last year. Police believe the shooting was drug-related. Wright was arrested back in February and now faces secondary murder and gun crimes. Rochester police have arrested a teen in a Kenwood Avenue shooting from earlier this month. Officers found a man in his 40s with a serious, but not-life-threatening gunshot wound to the lower body back on June 11th. And investigators now say a 17-year-old suspect was taken into custody after a probation appointment. He's charged with attempted murder, assault, and weapons possession, and is being held at the Monroe County Children's Detention Center. Dave Debo, News Radio Wham, 1180. Two suspects in a deadly parenting shooting will be arraigned this morning on new charge. charges. 27-year-old tested decodeau and 20-year-old Jacquez Riley Hill were indented earlier this month on second-degree murder and first-degree robbery. Authorities say the two worked with 35-year-old Tyree Ross Simmons to kill 32-year-old Ezra Nunez last month in his apartment on Pittsburgh, Palmyra Road. Ross Simmons is also facing a murder charge. A Yates County man in the hospital after a motorcycle crash in Ontario County. Deputies say the 62-year-old from Middlesex was riding on County Road 11 at Long Point Road in Gorm when a car hit him. He was flown to strong hospital and is now in stable condition. The driver was not hurt. The death toll updated with at least 164 people dead and 970 injured after those two earthquakes in Venezuela. A magnitude 7.2 earthquake struck first on Wednesday, followed by a magnitude 7.5, which was the strongest hit Venezuela in over 100 years. The quakes flattened buildings in the capital city of Caracas and other communities, where survivors could be heard trapped under the rubble. Geological Survey warns there could be thousands of deaths. The U.S. and other nations have all vowed to send rescue teams and humanitarian assistance to Caracas. I'm Tammy Trujillo. Paychecks reported weaker than expected fourth quarter revenue in its management solutions division. After the report yesterday, the shares closed down about 1.7% in the Wall Street session. But revenue and adjusted earnings per share in the latest quarter beat estimates. Remember when eggs cost more than $6 a dozen? Early in 2025, the Department of Justice kicked off an investigation. into alleged illegal price coordination among producers. Now sources tell Bloomberg that a settlement is near. A bipartisan coalition of states was also involved in the investigation. Sources say that under terms of the deal, companies have agreed to pay several million dollars in civil penalties and donate more than 50 million eggs. They've also agreed to stop exchanging prices and other sensitive information. Stock futures looked good this morning as Micron Technologies blowout sales forecast, reignited enthusiasm for the AI... trade. It was a mixed close for Wall Street yesterday. Dusty Cotto and 20-year-old Jaquez Riley Hill on secondary murder and first-degree robbery. Investigators say they worked with 35-year-old Tyree Ross Simmons to kill 32-year-old Ezra Nunez inside his Pittsburgh-Polmireau department last month. Ross Simmons is also facing a murder charge. There is a warning for the Wayne County Planning Board that someone is sending phishing emails that claim to come from Planning Board members and staff seeking fraudulent payments. Wayne County officials say the emails talk about application approval and review fees. They may appear to be legitimate. They may refer to actual proposals and use names of actual local officials. The county says it does not require payments for application reviews or approval for any referral that comes to them from the towns and villages in Wayne County.

Iran insists that ending the fighting in Lebanon between Israel and Hezbollah is an essential part of the proposed peace deal with the United States. Israel's occupying part of the country to keep its citizens safe from Hezbollah attacks. A State Department official claimed, in a significant demonstration of good faith, Israeli forces had withdrawn from part of its buffer zone in South Lebanon. That's been swiftly contradicted by both sides. A Rochester man charged in a deadly shooting on the city's west side could enter a guilty plea today. 37-year-old Terrence Wright allegedly gunned down 36-year-old Richard Goldwitzer in a wooded area off Orchard Street in May of last year. Wright was arrested back in February and is facing secondary murder and gun crimes. Venezuela is still reeling from two deadly earthquakes, both about the magnitude 7.0 that struck yesterday.
