703 here on Richmond's Morning News. This is News Radio, WRVA. Let's check you with Brian Kilmeade. And, of course, he comes up right after our radio show. Brian, good morning. How are you? All good, Rich. Good. All right. Let's get to it. I got a whole bunch of things. Breaking news. I know you're working on television this morning. Keir Starmer, resigning is the Prime Minister of Great Britain. I was over in Ireland not long ago, and I thought he was going to get forced out then. They finally forced him out right now. What's the latest that you're hearing? Well, they like this new guy. They think he'd be better, but he's actually going to be more liberal, more leftist than Keir Starmer, who's just a weak individual. And he lost me. You know, I just understand people have different philosophies of government. You know, I have no problem with that. But when you just say my philosophy is, let's be tolerant of Islamic extremists, let's keep our borders wide open. How dare you be critical of our immigration policy? Let's be very slow to react to anti-Semitism raging throughout your country. I got a huge problem with that. And then when we needed them just to be able to use our bases because they're military, even though the people who fight in the British military are awesome. And the sailors and their army, by all accounts, if you have talked to any American, they're great to fight with, they've just allowed their military to hollow out along with their economy and their free market status. So for me, he's a... He is somebody ill-equipped to lead anybody. So this new guy comes in. He's got more leadership ability, but he's got the wrong philosophy. And looming in the background is...

who's got his own party. Right. And Nigel Farage is somebody who's being very smart because, you know, Trump's not popular, just like Bush was not popular in England. She doesn't walk around going Donald Trump's great. He knows he has to distance himself to it in a way. But if Nigel Farage takes over, that defense builds up, their economy begins to grow, free market principles begin to flourish, and their border gets shut down. France is realizing the border, Germany realizes they made a mistake. Britain is still being tolerant. And, you know, we've let things go too crazy here. And we watched Joe Biden do it and President Trump try to fix it. Now there's pushback and try to make Trump look intolerant and ICE look like thugs. They call them Nazis. So we're seeing that pushback politically by Democrats. Well, everybody knows without control of your border, you don't have a country. And I think that England is probably the last to understand it. And now Stormers are the latest to pay the price. I look at Tony Blair. By the way, a liberal who just, you know, would work with anybody, Tony Blair says, open up the bases. The minute Trump asked for open up our bases for our aircraft, and he said, I don't think so. You don't think so. Are you insane? What do you mean you don't think so? Same thing with Italy. Right. You've got to be kidding me. Now, the president's overreacted and made things worse. But Maloney should realize that you have no right. You technically have the right, but it's not in your interest to shut down America, especially because you have no military. And Iran will continue to harass the week and take them as hostages and demand extortion. And you know they're the problem in the region. So if you don't like the way the war started, understand the objective remains the same and understand who's got the hammer in NATO and everything else. So Maloney's letting her personal animus, her person, I guess she's a little personally insulted by how the president's taking her on, so she's fired back. Well, what's in the best interest of your country? Think about that for a second. No, that's the number one thing right there, and you're kind of seeing that reset and that push across. I noticed that when we were over in Ireland just a couple months ago. Hey, I wanted to ask you on a local thing back in New York. Primaries coming up, Zoraamandhi, and the rest of the Democratic Socialist, aka communist. They're flexing their muscle right now, thinking that this is a, I'll use the term red wave of the far left, trying to overtake and see if they can knock off some congressmen. Dan Goldman is one that has been a Democratic stalwart. He's up against it with these Democratic socialists. Yeah, I mean, what's happening, I'm just looking at it. I think it's terrible for the country, but it's really bad for the Democratic Party. And you see that Nancy Pelosi's back. I'm sure you guys in Virginia don't know this, but there's these left-wing Democrats, Adriano Espaillat, who is a Hispanic leading on the Hispanic caucus. who everybody thought was secure, no Republican would ever run against him. And they're putting this extremist with horrific things in her background, with everything from Kamala Harris using expletives, she should basically rot in hell to Hamas being basically on the right and how we should not give one dime to Israel. All the stuff that would get you eliminated from the Democratic primary. It's actually fueling them.

So there, and Dan Goldman's about to go up in flames. He's turned by nine in the latest poll, backed by Nancy Pelosi, but the backing means nothing compared to Zohran Mamdani. So this is terrible for the party, horrible for the country. And I want to make sure I got his name. I hope I didn't say Goodman. Goldman is the name that I was thinking of. But he had been one of the loyalist members of the liberal Democratic caucus. He's not even far enough to the left for what we're seeing right now with Zohran Mamdani and some of these Democratic socialists that are starting to, I'm sorry, Brian, they're eating, taking over whatever it is. They might be the future of this Democratic Party. If the Democrats can't wake up now, it might be too late for them. Well, not only that, Luke Graham Platner saying, you know, he wants to basically pack the court. He's talking about a wealth tax over in Maine. Really? I don't think the wealthy having too much in Maine is an issue. But that just goes to show you, let's have class warfare. Remember, those would-be shooters at the UFC event. We're talking about taking out billionaires who afforded money. So, I mean, this is the same thing. This is with Bernie Sanders. Whoever should keep in mind has three homes, has three homes. Hasan Piker, the vile podcaster, lives in a $1.4, $2.4 million mansion. All these socialists are rich. They just don't want you to be rich, and they want to blame rich people. So Bernie Sanders, who's accomplished nothing in his career, can't even get a suit that fits or a comb that works. He can, now he is the power broker on the Democratic Party. And yet he's accomplished zero. Brian, I'm sorry, he's not even a member of the Democratic Party. Oh, yeah. By the way, yeah, is that important? Yes, I think so. Wow. Amazing. Before we let you go, how was Father's Day? Great. Everything was great. You know, so I was able to be home this year. So it was great. What about for you? It was fun. I barbecued. I sat there and watched NASCAR and Coronado. I watched some golf. And I took a nap. It's the best Father's Day ever. Yeah, well, that's a little low energy for me. Not much of a napper. I don't know how you do it, by the way. I don't know how you do this. I don't know how you keep up your schedule. Well, all I know is I'm getting the adrenaline off the World Cup. I love mainstream sports guys like you that can appreciate it. I love that no more people putting down going all that soccer, that European sport. I just love the fact that people are singing at U.S. games. We got a team that is just awesome. They don't have to outwork you or out physical you or hope for a breakaway or a bad call to win.

7:44

Now they can actually outplay you. And they have a coach that can have the tactics to beat you. And we're seeing it. And I think to win the group in two games and to know where you're playing Santa Clara next. Yeah. And to go into Turkey and be able to rest some of the guys on a yellow card and put six guys in off the bench maybe. And you'll see how deep this team is. I'm just so encouraged because, you know, my whole life, I've been playing since I was five and hearing that so many people who don't understand the sports say such negative things. And now to see non-players like the sport, it's just a relief. Now, in fact, we have my cousin Hardy who's from Germany. He's being our correspondent through this leading the non-socer fan through the World Cup, so we're having fun with that. I know you've got to get back to work, Brian. God bless you. Love you. Thank you so much. I'll talk to you next week. Go get him, right. Thank you. We'll continue with you. It's News Radio, WRVA.
