FOX News Brian Kilmeade Joins The Show

All right, 703 here on Richmond's morning news. Good morning, everybody, as we count down to USA 250. Let's check him with Brian Kilmeade. He comes up right after our radio show here on News Radio, WRVA. Good morning, Brian. All right, three things. I got three quick things I want to get to you because I know you're busy this morning. Number one. Is Iran even trying when it comes to this MOU this weekend? We see shots fired back and forth. They're attacking tankers. They're claiming that they own the straighter Humus. Are they really trying to be disruptive and drag it out? And they know that the president does not want oil prices to go up. It does not want to go to full-scale war. They're taking advantage of that. They are paying a price for it. This president shows he will attack back. But I just think there's also a fracture in the Middle East world with like Saudi Arabian Qatar are trying to re-approach Iran, which is ridiculous and unacceptable. And you have Iran who has never been weaker, acting like they've never been stronger. So I think we have to call their bluff on that and maybe start hitting a little bit closer to the Capitol. Where does that bravado come from? Where does that false sense of machismo come from? Because like you said, no Navy, no Air Force. The U.S. could go in there and pick up the bombing. But they never had much of a Navy. They never had much of an Navy. Right. And they never had much of an Air Force. But what they do have is ballistic missiles that are hidden, launches that they still can utilize. But once they utilize it, we can. do a pretty good job finding them, but not if we keep doing responding in a limited way. I'd love to see the battle plan to take the straight because these guys are setting up a system where they can insure on their own, where they're going to be tolling on their own, and managing on their own. And we have to say when it's no-go and they say, well, we're doing it anyway, we have to have a plan to take it over ourselves. Brian, I think... And that's got to be ready to go. All right, Brian, you know this because you wrote what of your original books was about the Tripoli Pirates. If they're going to set this up and they're going to start asking for taxation or whatever they go, that's tribute. That's piracy. We fought the Barbary Pirates about that years ago. Wouldn't this be piracy if they set this up? It would beyond that. I mean, so unacceptable. It's just flat out. Taiwan's going to get charged, and we're going to charge everybody who's near an international water body going to be charging? You know what that's going to do to the world budget? Does anybody want to pay for that? 20% of the world's energy going through there? Do you want to be writing checks for that for no reason? So a terrorist state can get more revenue? There's no way we're going to allow that. There's no way President Trump politically or personally would ever allow that. So this is where the rubber hits the road. That's what's the problem with the MOU. And it says they'll do their best for 60 days to allow ships to come in. What does that mean? Do your best. And then after that, they're in control. They already met with Oman about it. Oman denies that they are going to look to manage it. They're going to put out a letter saying they're not going to, but yet they still met with the Iranians. They have to make a decision. And again, this is.

basically punishing the entire world, not just the United States America. All right. Story number two I needed, talked about World Cup. Canada makes it to the round of 16. USA plays on Wednesday is a soccer guy, and I'm not a soccer guy, so you've got to help me out a little bit here. Tell me what's going on. I'm Anna Garcia, host of True Crime News, the podcast. They have a great center forward. They work hard, but I think they're going to play it like Australia. They're going to look for the counterattack and try to pack it in. It's up to us to school early and bring them out early and make them play, make them play soccer and then go head to head. And I think we're good at scoring early. I can't wait to see the starting team back out there again. I just think that, you know, the only thing that's missing is for a team to do something extraordinary, they have to have a fantastic keeper. I want to see if Matt Freeze is going to be the hell and back of the USA. I like the reference. Can he do things that he's capable of, can he do things that he's capable of but hasn't shown yet? Yeah, he's the best goalie in America right now, but we used to have the best goalie in the world. You know, Brad Preeto, Casey Keller, Tony Miola, and everybody else that we've had in there. We've always had the best. And I think we just have a good keeper is not going to pull up a major upset. No, not at all. By the way, I was on in Philadelphia. I sat in WPHT the last couple days. We were talking about how cool it is all the tourists coming in. Have you experienced any of that in New York? Oh, yeah, it's everywhere. They love New York. I mean, they're having the best time, and they're not belligerent. As much as we had a reputation that was wrong, we always thought, oh, you know, when these Europeans come, they're a bunch of hoodlums are going to wreck the place. They're going to get drunk and wrecked the place because of what we saw in the past. But they're trying to say, yeah, we drink, but we're not violent. And you look at the Scots, look at the Norwegians, look at the Swedes. They are everywhere in our countries. The South American countries represented really a lot of Americans. You know, I was at the Ecuador-Germany game. I think there was 65,000 Ecuadorians there. And I think most of them are Americans. So, and they're just, and they're pulling for their team. And I'm telling you, crowded, couldn't move, but no violence, everyone happy. The communication is great. The coordination at the stadiums, you know, much better. I watch Madison Square Guard, and they treated the fans like crap, and they were paying thousands of dollars for tickets. And then I'm watching the way the World Cup audiences, excuse me, the crowd was treated in Los Angeles and in New York. Right. And it was really great.
