Tom Giordano on Talk Radio 1210, WPHD. All right, it is Dom time at 855, 839, 1210. Be thinking of that side question, sign of the apocalypse. I'll explain why in a moment. Belichick Hall of Fame, sports has more importance than a lot of people think. Some of the best things in life are associated with sports. That's why they're so precious. It is not just the candy store and why do people care so much? They're deeper, deeper. The Olympics are there. Why do the Greeks have the Olympics? They were great philosophers and all the rest of it. It's not just the perfection of the body. It's about we want things in life. How many times we've said this, people call and say, whatever happened in this case, it never seemed to get resolved. In sports, pretty much. There's resolution, pretty much. One side wins, the other side loses. There's finality. There's a verdict. Something plays out. And that's part of the excitement. Some of it is rooting for your favorite, your home team, and all that. That's why I talked about in the last hour the Belichick thing and what's behind that. And the cowards who won't even say who they are. In addition to the Bernie Sanders guy, making the pro ball. People pay attention to these things. Now, Trump does have a thing. Nick Cal and I were talking about it, about the no kickoff. And I do too. I think it's messed up, but it's better than it was in the past. And the real kickoff, let's face it, the NFL's admitting, we already have CTE and all that type of stuff. We know it's going to happen. Is there a way to cut down on it, essentially? I don't know if they scientifically arrived at it. This is one of the causal elements, but okay, that's what they're going to do. Trump jumping in on the Belichick thing. Josh Shapiro, though, was a busy guy the last couple of days. This will be cut 20. Now, Josh Shapiro, even by his peers, every one of them tells me this is the most ruthless guy that we've ever seen. And my experience with him, that's absolutely up and down the line. He is that. So I'm not sure if this one was on the view, but it may be he was on another big show. This may be. MS now. Yes, this is MS now. Okay. Here's Josh Shapiro saying that the agents should be charged with voluntary, voluntary manslaughter. Now, remember, he's a lawyer, Attorney General in Pennsylvania. We don't even have the full investigation yet, which we should and stop dragging your feet. Move on it. Here's Josh Shapiro. Catch 20. With what's happening in the news, something we've been covering really around the clock, and that is ice in the streets of American cities. What is the degree of activity in your state? Not what we're seeing in Minnesota, where I believe ICE is acting outside the bounds of the law. I think General Ellison was right to highlight that. I think there's a strong Tenth Amendment claim that they can't really be there in the first place operating as they are. And that's before we even get to the legal consequences. I think that those officials, those federal officials should be held to for the killing of Ms. Good and Mr. Preti.

3:35

In Pennsylvania, we are preparing as though we could be next, and we have been for months. We recognize that this president seems hell-bent on sending these troops into other cities with a goal, I believe, of intimidation. What they're doing is outside the bounds of the law. We will be prepared in the court. We will be prepared in the community. I think that the story that is often missed in the horrors of what we're seeing play out in Minnesota. is how these federal officials at the direction of President Trump and Vice President JD Vance and Secretary Kristi Noem and others is eviscerating the most important thing you need to keep a community safe. And that is trust, trust between law enforcement and the community they are sworn to protect. They've destroyed that with their presence in Minnesota. We have that trust in Pennsylvania between our law enforcement and our community. By the way, it's why crime is down. 12%. Oh, mother God. Violence is down 43% across Pennsylvania. That trust is sacrosanct. We're going to continue to do everything we can to protect it, to stand up to the lawlessness of this administration, to stop the chaos and cruelty that we're seeing in Minnesota and elsewhere from coming to Pennsylvania. Do you agree with your fellow governor's assessment that ICE is out of control? Okay, but here's the punchline. He did go on to say that the agents should be charged with voluntary manslaughter. Even though he prattles on about investigations and we need to look at this, et cetera. Now, I'm telling you, right here and right now, I am convinced the FOP is going to endorse Josh Shapiro in his race for governor. Okay? Philadelphia FOP. And it's like, you know what? I realize you may not want him dive. I mean, I don't know why Stacey Garrity. I got Mastriano. Well, what are we to do if the cops continue to endorse people like this and sit on their hands when Krasner is up? They did nothing. You know, you want us to have your back. We do. You don't have our back. 855-839-12-10, you get on board. One other thing, too. I was talking to Nick about this and want to get you in. I think we should know by now. It's important. It's a public matter. What was the substance that was sprayed on Ilhan Omar? What was the substance? Who is this guy that was involved? Now, I don't think it was staged. Okay? I know that's a convenient thing people always want to say smarter than the room stage. What's the evidence that it was staged? I don't see the evidence there. But rather than going down these rabbit holes, how about telling us? They have all kinds of labs. This is a federal matter. This is an attack. It's an assault. Guys should be charged at the fullest extent of the law. Who is he? Is there anything about him that would lead us to believe he would engage in this? Again, I know what kind of security do you have where he can get in there with this. But I got to say, if this turns out to be some kind of substance with a maniac here,

6:53

Then I got to tell you, I am consistent. I love what Omar did there then. That's what I think public figures have to do, and that guy should have been dragged out of there. But, you know, you have chemists, you have stuff. Is it this hard to tell us what this is? And if it is something dangerous or it's not, does that lead to this was staged? But this conspiratorial stuff of staging stuff. Look, we know about Jesse Smollett. Okay. This would be staging it with Omar and her people in the most public light imaginable. And if that's the case, then I think we'll know it. And it would start by telling us what the substance is. If it's perfume or something, then okay. And we start to be on to something here. You know, that's kind of suspicious. But I do like politicians who say, no, I'm going to finish what I came here to do. Teddy Roosevelt. Shot was bleeding. Had giant speech papers, 60, 70 pages, and glass case that blocked the bullet a bit and finished his speech before he went to the hospital. I know you think that's insane, but I kind of like that kind of moxie. Is this staged? Easy to go on Twitter and just say that because you want it to be, but what's the evidence of that? All right. 855-3-9-12-10. I don't think ICE is coming here to Philadelphia per se. But Philadelphia, watch this now, we've been predicting, as freezing as it is. What are some of the things we've seen? All right, Krasner. Here's Krasner talking about we are going to hunt down ICE agents, labels them wannabe Nazis. This is cut eight. This is a small bunch of wannabe Nazis. That's what they are. In a country of 350 million, we outnumber them. If we have to hunt you down the way they hunted down Nazis for decades, We will find your identities. We will find you. We will achieve justice. All right. Now, this is part of the trope, Normberg. I remember John in Huntington Valley said it one day. And he was ahead of the curve. It's got to be a month or more ago. And we're like, yeah, really. Every Democrat out there talking about when we take power now, it's going to be the Normberg trials. If you supported Trump in any way, you're going on trial for supporting Hitler. And these ICE agents are going to get it. So you got Krasner, you got these city council dopes, trying to pass laws that would supersede the right of these guys to protect their identity, no mask and all that. And then you have the clergy. You have the clergy blocking the garage at the ice facility over at 8th and Cherry. They did that just recently. You have them in Target today and tomorrow, today and yesterday, I guess. getting in line, buying something in Philadelphia, then saying, no, I don't want it, and I want a refund, tying up the lines. Get them out of there. You bought it. Get out. You're trespassing. You can see how it's ratcheting up. They're seething to be in the light, and Krasner in the lead. That's what it's about. That's what they're trying to do here. The mayor is the only one that sees the wisdom of not engaging in this. She's too busy plowing the streets or not.

10:34

All right, 855, 839, 12, 10. Side question today. We mentioned Belichick, no first round with a bunch of cowards who won't come forth and say, no, I voted against this clown. Some of them, the media, who didn't like the way he treated the media. I agree. He's a lout. He's a bully. He's a creep. No doubt, particularly some of those news conferences. It's not funny. They should have taken them on then, their platform, their channels. should have given them the leeway to do that. Problem is, then they freeze you out. They don't give you any access. And I assume in Boston, they're one of the bigger stories in town here in Philadelphia. You dare not do that because the Eagles are the biggest story in town. So it's the same thing with Krasner. He won't call on you then. This is what they do. And then we get lectured about the First Amendment. Okay. So we are looking for a sign of the apocalypse. The winner, way back when the first time we did this years ago, Richard of Somerdale, you hear you can now pump your gas yourself in Jersey. It's the apocalypse. Start, you know, repenting, put on sackcloth. The end is near. It's coming. It's going to come very quickly. If you can pump your gas in Jersey, mine has always been, if we elect a Republican mayor, not even a conservative, just a Republican mayor in Philadelphia. You know it's the end times, and the end is coming very quickly. That's a sign of the apocalypse, okay? Henry, how about yours? Yeah, Dom, I'll keep it local here, the sign of the apocalypse. How about the Philadelphia Flyers finally pulling themselves out of mediocrity and obscurity? Yes, I mean, as long as I've lived and I'm 26 years old, this team has never had a goalie. I mean, seriously. I mean, it looked like Carter Hart was going to be something, and then obviously we know what happened there. A little stuff like that. Yeah, and then I like Dan Vladar, but like, you know, him being hurt, really exposed it just how bad the situation's been. And then on top of that... You got a coach halfway through his first season now is infuriating the fans with his, I don't know, kind of mind-boggling lineups he puts out there. And what was a promising start to the season that's quickly fizzled out yet again, the Flyers losing eight of their last 10, falling out of a playoff spot, four points behind. The Islanders and the Metro and eight points behind the final wild card spot. It just seems like this team is doomed to finish in the back of the lottery every single season and never get a star player that it so desperately needs in order to start contending for championships. Okay. Definitely, if they are, particularly maybe a championship. It is the apocalypse. I mean, even if you went to the Stanley Cup in 2010, they used a two goalie system between Brian Boucher and Michael Leighton. Like, they've never had a goalie. They haven't had a star in, I don't know how long since Drew got traded out of town. It's ridiculous.

13:35

I bet yours, Kurt. So I'm going to take a swing about earthquakes. Specifically, in Prince William Sound, Alaska, March 28, 1964, there was an earthquake that registered 9.2 on the Richter scale. All right. So if we see an earthquake of that size, you're budding down. You're not coming in to produce. Exactly right. Yep, exactly right. All right. Yep. Think of how many good ones are out there. Coming up, we will play you the tips from Kathy Hochul. It almost thinks this is AI a parody. It's not. And she's wearing that blue outfit again. It's like the mailman outfit. Maybe they shot these all in one day. This tip about using cat litter. And she goes into detail. And people on Twitter will show it to you, YouTube.com slash 1210. It's a new scooper. They didn't even take the sales sticker off. Like this woman has ever done this before. You can imagine. Why do this? What is the game? All right. But it is sign of the apocalypse. That's a big category. So come with your best stuff here, something that you think, yeah, boy, that's not going to happen. I don't see a Republican ever being an elected mayor. The city is ignorant. They just are. It doesn't matter. They don't care. And now they're getting their Philly swag on. They're going to show Trump you've picked on the wrong city if you come here. That's the attitude. All right. So I don't think Trump is going to overload with ice, and I think they're still going to act up. It's their fun. It's their sport. They're losers. 855-839. 1210. On Talk Radio 1210, WPHT. All right, Dom Gierdano's show in the On Deck Circle. We're going to talk for our friend, Bill Donahue, the Catholic League. Here is what we played you yesterday. This is cut six. Here's what really got us rocking yesterday. And I think Donahue would be critical of this. And I said the Cardinal and the Catholic Church, they're the ones that are fraudulent. not what they're calling out here about defunding ICE. We're going to have a government shutdown, I predict. I don't see how they're going to save it. I'll tell you what Brian Fitzpatrick is doing too. So here's Cardinal Tobin of Newark, arguably one, two or three, the biggest Catholic voice in the country talking about ice. We are serious about putting our faith in action. We need to say no. How will you say no? In this week when an appropriations bill is going to be considered in Congress, will you contact your congressional representatives to senators and representative from your district? We ask them for the love of God and the love of human beings, which can't be separated. Vote against renewing. funding for such a lawless organization. All right, so calling upon them to pressure the Senate and the House, all Catholics, to defund ICE. That's exactly what he's doing. Henry's put into his people and see if you come on and tell us about that. Based on what? Well, based on an institution, the church.

17:03

that has all those Catholic relief organizations with all those people flooding the border, and they said nothing about that. But suddenly here with ICE, we have to rouse. They said nothing about the issue of life, which they're the prime source, when you had a guy masquerading as a devout Catholic, Joe Biden, and yet being an extremist on abortion. Okay? Are we going to hear next? If you're an ICE officer, you're going to be excommunicated. They've talked about that before. They are a fraudulent group up and down the line. They're corrupt, even for politicians, which most of these guys are. And this guy's a politician. He's not a holy man of anything that I recognize. Otherwise, he wouldn't be engaged in this type of stuff. I'll ask Mike Donahue, Phil Donoghue, not Phil Donahue, I'll ask Mike Donahue about that. Bill Donahue. One of those names. Yeah, Phil Donny Hugh is on my mind. I had him on once, not before he passed away. It was like seven or eight years before that. It was really a knockdown dragout. Oh, man, it was great stuff. He still had the fastball. But Bill Donahue will be here from the Catholic League. And this idea that this is where the Catholic Church is headed is amazing to me, but that's where we are. And I predict you're going to see this shutdown. You're going to see this play out. I'm still convinced the information I have, though. I see ICE's budget. Now, we differ with the McCormick yesterday. We'll see if he sticks at a great interview with him yesterday on several things. And here's Josh Shapiro out there lecturing about this. And he still won't just sign a bill that would free up tens of thousands of kids across Pennsylvania to get out of these schools. And I'm not going to use the schoolie stuff. They're not operating effective. They suck. The Philadelphia public schools, they suck up and down the line. There's another way to put it. I'll put it in Latin. Do we have one of those translators in Google? How do you say that suck in Latin? Suck Obamas or something. Or Italian. That's where they are. They are poised this week to say, at remote learning, five straight days. Sugerre. Sugary. Sugary. Superintendant. I saw him here, Henry, on the Monday of Martin Luther King Day, but I didn't think it was right to accostom. He was just coming. We were both near the elevators. Hey, why don't you stop over? You know, I'm a former teacher. We'll talk for a little bit. Oh, man. You know, poaching. He was on a KYW. All right. I'd love to get him on. He seems like a calm enough guy, but come on. You're presiding over something that doesn't work, not intended to work, the Philadelphia Public Schools. And evidence of it. Are they saying anything about snow removal? No, it's just saying, we'll do another remote day. Okay? Everybody okay with that? We'll pretend that learning is happening. Well, they pretend every day. It's not happening. It's not going to happen with them. The only thing good parents can do is get their kids out of there. All right, side question today. Something that's a sign of the apocalypse. Charlie and Chester County. Hey, Charlie.

20:33

Yeah, to me, the apocalypse will be Trump running for a third term. Okay, why would that be the apocalypse? Well, you know, we're not going to agree past what I just said. We've seen what he's done in one and a half terms, my opinion. Okay. But you mean if he's elected, that would be the sign because he can run only once and constitutionally he can't. Well, yes, he can. And this is the argument he's going to use with his court, the Supreme Court. The argument he's going to use is, oh, it says two consecutive terms. There's the power in the president running two consecutive terms, not two divided terms. So he's going to argue that Bean's 20 was stolen from him. by the Democrats, that now he's entitled to run for his second consecutive term because he was denied that because of all the fraud in the election. All right. Well, Charlie, how many pizzas can we bet on this that Trump will not be a president for another term? Well, I bet you want pepperoni pizza, but I'll tell you why. He would not be so upset and concerned about the Epstein files coming out. if he was not planning on possibly running again because otherwise it coming out will be embarrassing but it will not end his political career well i think even with trump the embarrassment level that you talk about is pretty pretty severe look i would agree with him signing the apocalypse to some on the other side of trump is elected a third time but it's not happening all right we'll put it down that's a start omar stage you're real I'm in a camp that says this is real. But what takes so long? What the heck could this guy have had that's that exotic? This happened last night. We don't have a report on what it was that he was spraying. I mean, how many different things could it be, at least a category? But did he look like he was trying to do something? Yeah, he's deranged. He's stupid. He told the neighbor, watch my dog. I might be arrested tonight. Does this seem like some master plotter they sent in there to do this? These things are hard to pull off. Remember, with the Smollett thing. Now, the guy may have yelled, and I give ground to some people if he did yell something about MAGA. The way to tell something that's a hoax or staged, if it stilled it. And remember Smallett, talked about all those MAGA people out there in the streets chasing him in Chicago, right? Yeah, if it sounds stilled it, if it sounds like the lines are just not natural, okay, that's something you ought to be looking at. No, I think this maniac did try to spray her with something for whatever reason. And people are saying, well, you know, why did she go back at him? Well, that's what she's going to do. She's been through, you know, a refugee camp, et cetera. I kind of like that. I think as a public figure, it's better to let your security handle it, but I like it. You know, I like the fact. I just like to see that guy dragged out of there. Every one of these people that engages in something like this or even phoning in death threats or whatever, we need to crack down on them on whatever side. The preponderance is on the left, but this one appears to be somebody. Who knows? You know, what you're dealing with here. Stage, though, I don't say it. I would tell you if I saw it.

24:14

All right, here is a little bit of Kathy Hochul. YouTube.com slash 1210 WPHT. Henry, I'm not sure of the cut. You know which one, right? Here's her latest. Yesterday. I gave you my best pro tip on how to get out of a ditch or to get through deep snow. Now, not that this is deep, I'm not saying it is, but get a non-clumping clay kitty litter in your trunk. And you scoop it, kitty litter. Put it right under the tires, okay? Go it out of the tires all the way through here. So when you back up, it gets a little bit of traction, and you might feel get yourself and your family out of a difficult situation. Take it for me, I know. Is that the line? Is that the tagline? Take it for me, I know. So we're going to trust her on budget, international politics because of the kitty litter. And on Twitter, they have this giant cat jumping over her head. You can see there's a close-up. The label's still on there of the scoop of the kitty litter. Yeah, that's where you need, like, a production assistant, someone to help out with continuity there to be like, guys, we need to make it look like she's used this stuff before. Yeah, exactly, exactly. And we're doing it for a photo op. Not to mention, there's several cuts, jump cuts. And also, too, if you're bending that close down to a car, you're going to breathe in a lot of carbon dioxide. Oh, yeah, exactly. And she's wearing that same uniform. I think they shot these all in one day. Oh, sure. I'll get another one tomorrow. I think the shovel was more believable than this one. It's just that it's pathetic what she's doing with the shovel, but this one is even worse. You know, you think this one's worse? I don't know. At least this one's kind of resourceful. It's like, I don't know. The other one's like really going to tell people how to shovel. Well, Henry, in the last 100 years of talk radio, I mean, we talked about kitty litter constantly. You know, I think everybody particularly in the snow states knows that. I don't know why she thought this was, there's got to be something new out there. that she could put in. So what would you like to see Kathy Hochul tackle next? You can hit me with that or call in with it. Our buddy is on deck circle, Bill Donahue, Catholic League president. What does he think about Cardinal Tobin? That's next on Talk Radio 1210. Tom Chiridano on Talk Radio 1210, WPHT. All right, it is Dom time. Boy, it's been a long hiatus. When's the last time we talked with Bill Donahue on the Dom Gier-Dano show, our favorite? And several people said, yeah, I think Henry was one of them when Cardinal Tobin opened fire on Ice Here. Actually, there was a backstory. He was talking about fascism and all the rest of it, calling upon people to inundate their senator, Congress people. to get rid of ice. No ice. Not, all right, we need this reform here, but no ice. Let's go to Bill on Talk Radio 1210. Hey, Bill, happy new year. We haven't spoken. Welcome back. Yes, happy New Year. How you doing, Doug? Good to hear your voice. Same here, Bill. So, Bill, is Tobin, is he the main voice in America? Other than the Pope, aside from that, he and a couple of others spoke out about Ukraine and Maduro and all that recently. He's won two or three right up there as the powerhouse.

27:30

Right. We basically have three Cardinals now. Cardinal Dolan is a great guy. He's going to be leaving here a week after next, and a new archbishop is coming in out of Chicago. You basically have McElroy, Robert McElroy from D.C., you have Tobin out of Newark, and you have Supich out of Chicago. All of them are on the left. They've come out and said that the Catholic Church's teachings on homosexuality are wrong. That's right. They said they're wrong. So you know that you have a triumvirate here of people who are not particularly well-liked by their fellow bishops, which is why they never get voted in to any particular office. But, no, I would disagree with Cardinal Tobin on this. If you have a problem with ICE, there's only one person to blame, and that's Joe Biden. If he hadn't allowed millions of people to crash our border, we wouldn't be having any problems with getting some of the people out. Now, we know from John Fetterman, a Democrat out of Pennsylvania, that two-thirds of the illegals who have been deported by ICE have a criminal record. Two out of every three. So, you know, it was Caval of Harris who said, well, I'm going to be in charge of the root causes. Well, the root cause was her and the guy that she worked for, namely Biden, when they allowed people intentionally to crash our borders, taking advantage of our schools, our social services, our hospitals. And many of them, now we know two-thirds with a criminal record who have been deported, are serious criminals. Now, the problem is that, yes, of course, there are some problems. Whatever you have law enforcement, whenever you have teachers, when you have anybody, have parents, you're going to have people who are abusing their authority, and they have to be punished. And they should be investigated. And the White House shouldn't be too quick to assume that because you're iced, therefore you're in the right. You could be in the wrong. But having said that, the idea of comparing them to Nazis, I just did a Lexus Nexus search on this. In the last month, there are almost 4,000 stories linking ICE and Nazis together. This is very dangerous because what they're basically saying is that, you know what? Hitler really is not any different from what we have in this country today. If I were Jewish, I would have great take advantage of that, and I know many are. I mean, how dare you take a genocidal maniac like Hitler and compare them to Trump? I saw a guy on TV the other day going right up to the face of ICE and say, go ahead and shoot me, go and shoot me. Now, let me tell you, if they were Nazis, he'd be dead. Yeah, exactly. And Bill, I'm not saying that the case is that this is financial. I think they're ideologues, but all these Catholic relief organizations, NGOs and all that that were aiding and abetting with the border. And to your point, not caring, particularly with the second Catholic president.

30:32

About that. So is it just their ideology that's driving him toward this? Or is it they see more parishioners, particularly parishioners that will be grateful to them? What drives it? Are they just that far left? I think they are. And I've spoken to some high-ranking people who are more on our side about this issue. And I said, you know, is this driven by money at all? And they're saying, Bill, quite frankly, that's not the case. In fact, we've been losing some money on some of the stuff that we've been dealing with. This one, I don't want to mention his name, but a prominent person telling me, no, very clearly, this is an ideological predisposition on the part of some of the clergy. Now, most of the clergy in this country, they're not on the left. We know that. It was just proven because Coakley out of Oklahoma City is not a man of the left. He's center-right, and he was just elected as the president of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. They did put up some left-wing guys, and they got nowhere. So most of the people are not. But you have the three most influential cardinals in the United States who definitely are more left-center at what could be generous about that. and they are kind of carrying the roost here. But Coakley is the spokesman, not the three cardinals. Cochley was elected by the bishops to represent the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and not the Cardinals. We're talking with Bill Donahue. And Bill, you mentioned Cardinal Dolan. I differ with him and his approach on immigration. But. You know, it's ridiculous to take that guy out of New York. You know, I know their age requirement and all that. But shouldn't that be in a case-by-case basis? That guy I had them on when we did the Cardinal Regali show is both literate, humorous. He's got to touch, you know, of the Irish. I mean, he's a mainstay. The American Pope, why would they take him out? Well, I'm not very happy about it. I just spoke to Cardinal Dahl last Friday, very close to him. He's a great man. I love him. And I don't agree with what the Pope did. I think it was unfair. Let me be very specific. At the age of 75, you have to turn in your resignation as a bishop. And the Pope can accept or reject. If he accepts, then you're out. If he rejects, it means you can stay up until the age of 80. Once you hit 80, you're out. Now, Cardinal Supich. I mentioned him before. He's the Archbishop of Chicago. He's on the left. He's a year older than Dolan. His resignation papers were not accepted. We're not rejected, rather. He's allowed to stay on. Dolan's a year younger, and yet Leo accepted his papers, and so he's out. Now, isn't it interesting, Leo's from Chicago? Where's Superidge from? Chicago. Who's the new Archbishop coming in into New York? He's from Chicago.

33:31

Yeah, so it's hard for me to believe, too. You know, I know you're a sports guy too. I know who would be like replacing Babe Ruth with some guy from Chicago or something here. You know what I mean? Bill, it's you have no sense. I always joke with. Good. This Pope is the American Pope. He has no sense of America. Then he's been overseas too long. Even though I differ with Dolan, as I said on this, he's America. Well, you're right. And not only that, but Leo wouldn't be where he's at, Robert Provost, were it not for Dolan. When the conservatives put up a guy for Pope, and they couldn't get two-thirds of the vote. And then the Cardinals on the left put up their guy for a vote, and they couldn't get two-thirds of the vote. So they're looking for a compromise. Dolan was regarded as, quote, the bridge. They picked Prevost because he, even though he's American, and they don't like Americans over there and around the world, because he was considered to be the least American of the American Cardinals. Right. Because he spent 22 years in Peru, et cetera, so they can hold their nose and accept him. So what I'm saying is that Leo owes his post largely to Dolan, whose resignation he accepted. But he didn't accept the one who's a year older for him, Chicago. So it doesn't sit well with a lot of us. I hear you. And Bill, look, we realize you've got to be in the real world if you're a religious figure. But I think a number of these guys, and you are much closer than I've only been close with some. You don't want to look at it because the decisions I don't think are inspired by God, the Holy Spirit, with some of them. They're pure power politics. And what we just talked about with Dolan here seems to me to be a perfect example. You're never going to get rid of politics anywhere, not in the church, not in sports, not in the home. It permeates American life. Now, and sometimes it's entirely understandable. And we all understand nepotism. It does exist. People have their favorites. But when you get into a situation where when you see that you don't have a level playing field and it's become so egregious and palpable, that's when you wince and you say, wait a minute, what's going on here? In any event, I do think that most of the bishops would not be talking Nazi-like language about ICE. They'd be much more reserved. They might be critical here and there. So I think Cardinal Tobin might be the outlier on this. I hope he is. Bill, what's next for you? The Los Angeles Dodgers, they're two-time world champions. They haven't done anything recently. What is out there that has your, do you have any stake, you know, you're the Catholic League, but what's going to happen in our Super Bowl, America's big sport with Bad Bunny, for example, anything on your radar that we should know about?

36:25

Well, you should know about this, and I'll be in touch with you, and I'll have to send you a copy. On February 17th, I have a new book coming out called Christianity in the Crosshairs. Ruling class and radicals find a common enemy. Yeah, that's right. They've come together. But also, I've got a surprise. I won't let it out right out of the bag right now. But over the summer, when we celebrate our 250th anniversary, the Catholic League will have a big splash, a big statement to be made. celebrating religious liberty. So it'll be right through in the middle of the World Cup, by the way, which goes from about the middle of June to the middle of July. So that's going to be exciting. And then we have a movie coming out probably in September about looking at Catholic, Protestants, Jews, and hopefully some Muslims who we agree on traditional moral values, and we're fed up with being discriminated against. So we're looking for a pretty big year here from the Catholic League. Absolutely. Bill, I've never seen anybody. It's the highest compliment whose sheer rationality thought power and a brawling way in writing of doing it. I mean, that's what inspires me every time I talk with you. It's captured in one guy. Where do we find the Catholic League, Bill? Catholic League.org. That's a big, rich website. And you know what? The reason we get along, I think we're cut from the same cloth. Oh, absolutely. Just the Irishman. Anybody. Yeah, absolutely, Bill. Thank you. Thanks for coming on. Thank you. Thanks, Bill Donoghue there. There's a guy you want to debate with Stephen Miller and Bill Donahue. Telling you, you could just feel the guy. You know, it's like that, Henry. Rick Santorum. When you debate a Santorum, it sounds all this L of it stuff, but you can just feel you're being worked over. You've got to protect the inner body there. Okay. Am I a bad guy, Henry, that I'm not been out of shape, that there's starting to be some threats. I don't think they'll come through. You mentioned the World Cup, FIFA, saying that because of ICE and Trump and all, we may take the World Cup away from America. Let's just say they're saying that. Oh, go right ahead. Are you a bad guy for saying go right ahead? Yes, yes. Kind of, yeah. Why is that? Whoa. It's the biggest event in the world this side. It's going to be bigger than the Olympics. Oh, God. And it's here in our backyard. Oh, a sport, alleged, in which the word nil is in there. How can you have a sport when the word nil is in there because so many zeros happy? I rest my case, I have show you. Well, we're not allowed to have ties. Yeah, right. Guys aren't allowed to play defense. I thought you would be all about defense. Or jeans. No, it's not that they're playing. That's right. It's not about they're playing defense. It's just so frustrating. I still think Pelley's on my Mount Rushmore, greatest athletes. And he was held to under a goal a game, I believe, or close to it in his entire career. The bicycle kick. Some guy gets in front of him, you know, in a beach chair and you can stop him. It's impossible. You're just using your feet. It's too hard is what I'm saying. It's too defensive. I don't know what you would do to open up, maybe narrow the fee. I don't know what you would do.

39:35

Don't you think? I mean, nil to nil. I get what you're saying about that. It is too defensive, but people like that. People love the defense. They love the strategy of trying to get the ball down the field and in that dang net. Well, I think it negates, though, the greatness of the really great players to be a cut above. They can be stopped too easily, is what I'm saying. I think in certain systems, yeah, that's the case. But there are the coaches that there's like, you know what, go run free. And I think those teams are the most fun to watch. All right, so are the World Cup games in danger? Oh, man. And I'll answer that question. All right, light candles to that. Corrupt FIFA. All right now. So 855, 839, 12, 10, grab a line, hit us. Let's get a few in right now. Sign of the Apocalypse, all straight ahead. Tom Giardano on Talk Radio 1210, WPHT. All right, it is Dom. Here's a sign of the apocalypse on Twitter. Head of Lettis, Krasner, prosecuting an actual criminal. There you go. All right, 8558, 8, 9, 12, 10, sign of the apocalypse today. By the way, really want to take time, and I don't think we'd do this enough. Dave McCormick was on yesterday, and I said I had a difference with him. I didn't think they could fully cut off ice if there's a shutdown this Friday. and they followed up on it in great detail. He must have been his people there as we're doing the interview. Don, followed up on your question, which I sort of punted on. Looks like DHS has a lot of flexibility in the near term. And he sent me a long text that says, Department of Homeland Security got 165 billion through 29 from the Big Beautiful Bill. ICE got 75 billion, and Border Patrol got 65 billion through that. While funding is available through 20, 2029, agencies can choose to spend funds at whatever rate they want, as long as they do it within the parameters they've been given for each pot of money. And he goes on with an explanation. So I really just wanted to commend them. How often do we say we don't get answers to stuff? This is an extremely detailed answer. McCormick has been involved in some of the biggest stuff that's going on in the Trump first year and is doing a really good job there. When we ask questions, they give answers, often very detailed. And that's what I'm trying to do here. You're not going to get that easily in other situations. We try to track these down, and sometimes it gets to be frustrating. You know, behind the scenes, it's really difficult to do that. They avoid it at all costs, not this guy. So I commend him publicly for this. Doesn't mean I don't differ occasionally with him, but compare him to any number of senators and the difficulty in dealing with him.

42:30

All right, phone lines are 855839, 1210. Gary in Newtown, Talk Radio 1210. Hey, Gary. New Year. Well, thank you, Gary. I'm shaking my head of disgust. Hey, we can do it through January at least. I'm starting to think February is optional, too. It's a short month. Keep it going, buddy. We can be at Mulligan's, and we're going to, you know what, this year for Mulligans. Happy New Year when you walk in. For Dom's year? No, we have to have New Year's hats and blowers and the whole thing. When Henry comes in and give him a New Year's cake. I'm sending a card down. I want 20 people, Johnny, 20 people at Mulligan's with pot. pants and pants banging him around Henry. Wish him a happy New Year when he comes in this year. I'm getting that on take. There's a plan in the making. Yes. Plan in the making. So one of the things about being on hold is you're able to still listen to the show, and if you can do a little bit of research on my side answer of the day. And I've never heard of the Bretton-Wood's agreement. I'm not sure if you have, but in 1944, 41 allied countries said that we are going to live, we the world, are going to live by the United States currency as being the reserve currency for everything. So this is what's crazy. So that's the answer to my side question, but let me give you a fact. In 1970, an ounce of gold was $35. Today, that ounce of gold is mile high, 5,280, which is 150x. If you compare the Dow Jay Jones, it's only 55x. So it's almost outperformed the Dow Jay Jones by three times. And that would be the, my side answer is. the United States no longer having the reserve currency for the world. Boy, yes, that would be a dark day. And, you know, the average person on the street, Gary, wouldn't even know what the heck we're talking about. But that is a really, really thoughtful one. Thank you, Gary. Yes. Now, that period in time, the Bretton Woods thing. And then the devil from Jekyll Island, Irv Homer may rest in peace. the federal income tax decided by these scoundrels all happening. I don't know. I have to think of the exact date on the federal income tax, but all of that stuff at these mysterious gatherings. And he's right. It's kind of in the weeds, but the dower as the reserve currency. Yeah. All right. More calls coming up. Sign of the apocalypse. Something that you think can't happen. I mean that literally. I don't see any Republican out there, the Republican part, my God, in Philadelphia and the ignorance of Philadelphia, but Philadelphia is on watch. They are seething. By the way, I saw yesterday that No Kings 3, and I thought, wait a minute, is this a new movie franchise? No, it's a white women gone wild franchise. No Kings 3 is going to be happening in early March. You know, the whole thing over in Habbertown, no Kings with Trump.

45:36

They can't get enough of it. How long can they, is this going to be like Godfather 3, the No Kings 3? Each time they tell us it's better. People get deflated when they hit me on Twitter with something like the Godfather series. And I have to say to them, I can't go along with that. Godfather 3. Come on. It just ruins it. I have to watch it at some point. Oh, God. I don't think you even get through it. And it had a premise of the Vatican involved in illegal banking. Not that I don't think that happened, but yeah. But, you know, Al Pacino was well past anything. Although it just when I thought I was out, they pulled me back in. You know, yeah, I got stuff like that. And the scene where they kill the mafia figures in a hotel room. in AC by locking their doors and having a helicopter shoot them. Jeez. It's really well done. And I think that's where you wet your beak started. Yeah, the beak wedding. I thought there was a little of the beak wedding and Godfather, too. I love that wet my beak. And the sopranos as well. Yes. Oh, yeah. Everybody's wetting your beak there. All right. 855, 839, 1210. Tomjiudano, weekdays, noon till 3. From Talk Radio 1210, WPHD.
