Today's Side Question: Things associated with the Middle East

that they have 11, the makings of 11 nuclear bombs that they can put into play. So those 11 are going to stay. You're going to have to negotiate from there, so to speak. But here's Marco Rubio. And then I'll give you a little critique on this about how the media is spinning it. And I'm surprised that Marco Rubio's not a little bit more precise with this. Cut 15. The second question that been asked is, why now? Well, there's two reasons why now. The first is it was abundantly clear that if Iran came under attack by anyone, the United States or Israel or anyone, they were going to respond and respond against the United States. The orders had been delegated down to the field commanders. It was automatic, and in fact, it bared to be true because, in fact, the... Within an hour of the initial attack on the leadership compound, the missile forces in the south and in the north, for that matter, had already been activated to launch. In fact, those already been pre-positioned. The third is the assessment that was made that if we stood and waited for that attack to come first before we hit them, we would suffer much higher casualties. And so the president made the very wise decision. We knew that there was going to be an Israeli action. We knew that that would precipitate an attack. against American forces, and we knew that if we didn't preemptively go after them before they launched those attacks, we would suffer higher casualties and perhaps even higher those killed. And then we would all be here answering questions about why we knew that indeed. Now, this is being spun into, well, so we couldn't control Israel. Israel precipitated this. They were going to do that. You would have higher casualties, so you got ahead of it by going along with Israel. Now, the bottom line is, at some point, we were going to do this. You know what the Iranians do. They've done it forever. Talk, talk, talk, talk. Maybe threaten death to America. Then they go on their merry way and they continue to do this. How long do you go forward with this? But the point of emphasis is that Israel was going to hit them. We knew that. And then we would have higher casualties. That's a little bit of a tricky parsing. It's giving the anti-Semites, anti-Israel factions the oxygen they need on this stuff. At least that's the way that I see it. Now, here's the other one with Steve Witkoff, one of the chief negotiators, this is Cut 13, and Steve Witkoff talking about, they were bragging about this when we sat down for negotiations about having 11. of these nuclear bombs somewhat along the path. and showing they were not going to give up, whether it was bluster or not, that was their negotiating position, cut 13. You are a friend, and when you made the statement that, in fact, they may be a week away from possibly having capability, at that moment, I interpreted that to mean it's go time, it's over. Was I wrong? Was that the moment that it was over?

Well, I don't know if that exact moment it was over, but I know this. They have 10,000 roughly kilograms of fissionable material. That's broken up into roughly 460 kilograms of 60% enriched uranium, another 1,000 kilograms of 20% enriched uranium, and the balance is at 3.67. They manufacture their own centrifuges to enrich this material. So there's almost no stopping them. They have an endless supply of it. The 60% materials, Sean, can be brought to 90%. That's weapon grade, weapons grade, in roughly one week, maybe 10 days at the outside. The 20% can be brought to weapons grade. inside of three to four weeks. And let me say this because I forgot this small little detail. In that first meeting, both the Iranian negotiators said to us directly, with, you know, no shame that they controlled 460 kilograms of 60 percent, and they're aware that that could make 11 nuclear bombs, and that was the beginning of their negotiating stance. So that's, they were, they were proud of it. They were proud that they had evaded all sorts of oversight protocols to get to a place where they could deliver 11 nuclear bombs. See, I'm making this my frontal argument here. We're not going to sit here. They can't get a nuclear weapon, and they're getting better ballistically. They could hit us. We're not going to let them be North Korea, particularly with the religious craziness that is there. So all that is the reason versus Israel was going to hit them. It's up about 5% of people just saying, do you support it? Do you still support the war? And it is a war. I know we can't say that, the administration because of Congress, but it's a war. This is not just a strategic action. This is big. You can see the consequences. This is not been as well. I mean, it's fair to say it's bigger than that. It's up about 5% of people saying they support it. So Tucker Carlson and his ilk are profitable. There are people they can reach a pretty fair number. Megyn Kelly, the same thing. But I don't think they reflect MAGA. Who does? Self-describe MAGA? Well, I think Trump does. Now, we've been down this road before. You see progressives, liberals in the media. in a strange alliance with Tucker Carlson and others, not on paper, but just their interest, to bring down Trump. Does that mean Trump can do anything he wants and that base of support is still going to be there? No, I don't think it means that. You may think it means it. 855, 833, 9, 12, 10. But what it means is, the deal breaker to me in this would be boots on the ground.

and casualties, much more severe than we have now, then you're going to see, hey, is this America first? Do I think Trump will get caught up in that kind of quagmire? No. I think he'll use the tactics he's used before. Now, this is a more stubborn opposition fueled by the religious craziness and by all the money they got in the Obama years and oil and everything else put into military hardware. It's not going to be as easy to degrade them as, say, of Venezuela. All right, we got a great side question today, too. We got Corey DeAngelis. Listen to this cut. Corey's here. I'm going to play this several times today. The Supreme Court of the United States ruled yesterday. You cannot hide from parents as a matter of law and tell teachers they can't say anything that their kid. is transitioning or playing at transitioning, meaning the pronouns and everything else in the school going along with, and the parents know nothing about this. Let me make this point, too. It's not the same thing if the kid is gay. This transitioning thing is gendered dysphoria. I mean, that's different. It is something out of bounds. Of course, the parents should be alerted to it. Listen to Hal Gavin Newsom, when this got passed in 2024, he talked about snitches. Teachers that wanted to inform the parents, Gavin Newsom, is calling their snitch. They're snitches. Cut 12. What they can't do under the law is fire a teacher for not being a snitch. And I just don't think teachers should be gender police. Humble point of view. And I think this issue's gotten weaponized and our gay community has been demonized. All right. See, right away we're going back to LGBT. Is it that or is it the, it's the trans issue. You're a snitch. If you think the parents, so the kid's putting one name on the test paper or wanting to be called they them or something else. And then the parents in home, hi Johnny, hi Mary, they them, they them at school. You're a snitch. Gavin Newsom. He's going to die on this still too. He's not going to be able to run away from. All right. Side question today, given what's going on and we'll continue to go on for at least another few weeks. We are looking today. for something or someone. We talked about that yesterday by what Trump has done. that is remarkable. It's not going to stop all of it. I mean, you know, the markets and everything else get queasy when stuff like this happens because it is a war. It is a big deal. All right. So what is it the Catholic bishops now are about now? Calling upon the Supreme Court to stop Trump and protect God-given human dignity. Well, the Catholic bishops, in my view, disgracing themselves even more. Now want to dismantle, have the Supreme Court dismantle strike down President Trump's executive order dismantling so-called birthplace citizenship. You know, the whole idea of the kids born here. Then we have the chain citizenship. They say as Catholics, We are guided by the compassion of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our concern for our neighbors proceeds from God's command to love others as he loved us. The conference is saddened by the climate of fear and anxiety, the vilification of immigrants that is all too common in the rhetoric concerning immigration policy. So now we can't even challenge this, which is certainly... something to be challenged in a court of law, the 14th Amendment, and how it's been perverted. How many years, if you've listened to Talk Radio, if you've heard me over the years, how many times does this come up? And finally, we have someone doing something about it. And once again, we have the Catholic bishops on the wrong side of it. The very same people who nonchalonic, as Joe Biden said he's a devout Catholic and we're going to abort on demand at any time, any place. Those bishops. The very same bishops who were complicit, I don't know how many of them are still bishops in the pre-scandal, bishop scandal. They're going to tell us we can't talk about the 14th Amendment. We can't litigate chain migration here and what this is done to this country. By the way, I'm not a fan of Christine Ome, as you know, testifying today. And it came up. They wanted to know it was Dick Durbin, wanted to know why ICE had arrested some DACA recipients. Now, these are the most, you know, the sanctuary of holies. You can't touch them. These are the people brought to the country.

What Dick Durbin neglected to say is that 92% of the 261 that ICE took into custody had criminal histories, not just coming here as a child brought by the parents. 92% of them committed other crimes. He left out of the testimony. So, you know, Kristi Noem has to pay the price today for some of the wild stuff, she said, in Minnesota. But I don't think it's remarkable that, you know, they're taking her a part of anything. All right. 855-839-1210. I mean, Megyn Kelly is showing her true color. She just sees the play is to go crazy like Tucker Carlson. Tucker Carlson's repulsive now to me. We have an authoritarian in charge, but they're friendly. They do what we want is the play. O'Reilly way ahead of the curve said this yesterday. So what if the people rise up and overthrow this person? I think the Trump administration is saying they'll be okay with that too. But if they don't, we want someone in there who is going to not be firing missiles at Israel and is not going to be trying to come up with nuclear weapons. If you can do that, then it will stabilize us. This is what that tells us, that Trump is not interested in getting into a quagmire. Now, I haven't seen reaction to this, but I'm sure little Brendan Boyle over northeast Philadelphia, Commander Small, is going to tell us, oh, what about democracy? Trump never said that's what it was about. America first says, stop them from getting a nuclear weapon. degrade their ability to be firing all these missiles. And he put something up on his Twitter we talked about yesterday, but there's a number of issues about a school in Chicago. How in the world, even for Chicago, can you have a school that Corey and I are going to describe of what's going on there? Are you a snitch? As Kevin Gavin Newsom says, if you tell the parents, hey, Johnny has they and them. That's what his papers say at school. Just thought you might want to know that. Let's go to Corey DeAngelis here on Talk Radio 1210. Hey, Corey, thank you for such a wealth of information you provide to all of us.

Hey, Dom. Thanks for having me. Good talking to you. Well, yesterday, the Chicago School, where I think there are 28 kids, capacity 912. I think there's 27 teachers slash janitors and everything else. The cost is 90, I have a written down, yeah, 93,787 per student and a quote, zero percent reading proficiency. It's insane. You have these empty schools in Chicago. This was just one of the examples. 97% empty. Basically no kids there. They have a bunch of adults, so it really illustrates that this is a jobs program for adults, not an education initiative for kids, and zero percent proficiency in math. Not a single kid can do math at proficient levels. And this really blows the teachers' unions. kind of narrative out of the water where they say that, oh, if we just lower, you know, our staff to student ratios, then we'll do a better job. We need smaller class sizes. Well, this is a one-to-one staff to student ratio. They still can't get it right for any of the kids. And it really puts to bed the myth that the public school system just needs more money. I mean, we've seen that throwing more money at the problem over time hasn't worked. And then you have this. example of a school that's spending almost $100,000 a kid per year, they still can't figure it out. Dom, that's over a million dollars for the K-12 education, $1.3 million for a K-12 education. And what, for what? They're graduating kids that can't read or do math. And so... Who's behind this? Obviously, the teachers union. They want to keep these schools open for perpetuity to keep the jobs as easy as possible for the employees in the system without actually having any accountability for results. And I'd say, Dom, this actually hurts the teachers, too, because if they didn't have the school open, they could reshuffle that money to other schools that are doing a better job that people actually want to attend, and those teachers could earn more money. And so, like, it's such a waste that hurts everybody involved, but the teachers' union is so married to the status quo, they don't want to rock the boat or change anything, even if it will help everybody involved. Yeah, absolutely right. And, Corey, we have, I don't know if you're the name David P. Hardy. He founded Boys Latin School here, a charter. Yeah, Philly, classic old learning. He put a piece up the other day because Philadelphia now is reshuffling. allegedly closing some schools and all that about why choice is so necessary because a number of the schools they're closing are the ones that are working and they're going to dragoon these kids in the ones that are not working all because of the big master plan rather than an individualized education for a kid with programs that are working, it went so far that their magnet schools are going to close some of them, way declining because they come up with a DEI program for magnet schools, and now they don't have enough people. Just every day, the argument for choice to get out of this.

Exactly. And a lot of the Catholic schools across the country were closing and facing declining enrollment. And those are some of the lower-cost private schools. The problem is they have to compete with a free good. Basically, it's cost zero at the point of entry, but they cost a lot of money for taxpayers. The public schools in Pennsylvania spend over $20,000 per kid per year. And then so you have something that costs that much to produce. And then these private schools are having to compete with them as if they have a tuition of zero. And so it's Milton Friedman said it best that, you know, just imagine if the government were going around giving away cars for free and they cost $100,000 to make and tax money. You'd be surprised that there were any private car dealers that existed at all. So it's really a surprise that any private schools exist at all, given that they're having to compete with this behemoth monopoly government school system. That costs so much of our tax money. If you want to get a private school in most places, you're basically having to pay twice. You have to pay for the public school through taxes, and then if you don't want to use it, you still have to pay for it, and then you have to pay out of pocket for tuition and fees for the private school. So this is why the money should follow the child and why parents should be able to direct the upbringing of their children and take that tax money. in the school that works better than, whether it's public or private. The other big story that you've been all over, and I've been playing as many times as I can, Gavin Newsom, saying teachers want to be snitches on the issue of a kid transitioning and hiding that from the parents. The Supreme Court went 6 to 3, putting aside for now the Ninth Circuit Court after a federal judge said, yeah, this is common sense. You can't hide this. Keegan. went on a diatribe about wanting to delay this for a couple more years before they could make a reasonable decision. And I'm wondering, we are seeing finally, Corey, just a tsunami since that case, the lawsuit that was won for the $2 million with the psychologists and the other. The history, as the other side says, is really marching the other way now. That's right. I mean, we got this when it's the Supreme Court, but parents still need to be vigilant because you know there's going to be these rogue activists in the school system that are still going to try to keep secrets from parents. But why did it have to go six-three? It should have been a unanimous decision. The federal judge got it right, Benitez, who said one of the circuit courts, that this creates these secrecy policies create what he called a trifecta of harm. It obviously hurts the parents because it's infringing on their 14th Amendment right to direct the upbringing of their children and make decisions about their mental health and their education. That's obvious, but it goes further than that. Keeping secrets from parents.

hurts the teachers too because maybe the teacher isn't on board with this transgender insanity that the school system is trying to push. And maybe the teacher feels awkward and weird about keeping sexualized secrets about kids from their own parents. Maybe the teacher does not want to be involved with that. crap that the school system is pushing. And then the third arm of harm is obviously for the kid. They're at a young age. They're a young impressionable mind. And if they continue down this path of transgender insanity, that could lead towards sex change, irreversible surgeries that a lot of people, after they grow out of it, they say, this is a big problem. Why was I led down this path? And they can't get transition fully. And it creates this. permanent harm on the child who is confused at a young age. So good ruling by the Supreme Court, the government school system should be put on notice. No more keeping parents in the dark. You can't keep secrets from parents. And this ultimately helps the teachers, too. And Dom, you and I have been beating this drum for a long time. If teachers feel like they're getting their rights violated by the school system and the unions, They need to opt out of those political organizations that we call teachers unions and join alternatives like the Teacher Freedom Alliance for free. You can get your liability insurance. You're totally covered up to $2 million more than the union would ever provide you with. and you won't have to buy into this ideology if you just want to focus on the basics. Corey DeAngelis with us will give you all the information from his book, which is the Bible around this. But Corey, I've only had it happen a couple of times over the course of my career. I wanted to ask you when you get these cavalier death threats like you've apparently gotten to have somebody like the guy who killed Kirk. When it happened with me, a guy who's listening now, he's in it, police inspector. He called out the National Guard almost. When I did a broadcast, he had plain clothes guys. I'm watching a guy eat his eggs with his eyes all around the room. So I have not had to experience it. It was a little bit scary, though, you know, just walk into the car. You're a national figure who gets this, I hope not routinely. Yeah, I mean, I just shared a video yesterday from the University of Washington, Deep Blue Washington. They've gone off the rails with this transgender insanity stuff. And I posted a video a few weeks ago of a journalist out there that was questioning a lawmaker just saying, hey, might there be differences between boys and girls that could lead to an advantage for boys over girls in sports? I posted that video. The lawmaker went viral because they said, well, I'm not a scientist. I can't weigh in on that. And it reminded me of Judge Jackson and saying that she's not a biologist.

And this person, Maramon, who's a guy who thinks he's a girl, he replied that may there be, may there be Tyler Robinson's for you all, basically implying that conservatives should be assassinated like me for disagreeing about, you know, boys playing in girl sports. And so this person, you know, the university said that they were investigating, but we found out accuracy and media went there on campus, and we just released a video yesterday confronting Maramon and just asking, do you feel, you want to apologize for this? And the person just, you know, Mara did not apologize, refused to do so and had our people kicked out off the premises of the campus. And it just goes to. school system, the universities, they just want to sweep everything under the rug. They don't want any accountability, even if there's violent rhetoric like this for their employees. And they take down their websites and they pretend like they're investigating things. At the end of the day, they just hope that the storm passes. Everything blows over. And then they ultimately side with their own employees, especially on the left. Well, your book. Is another reason it's so prominent. Tell us about that, Corey, and what's happening? What can parents learn in this book? Yeah, it's called The Parent Revolution. It's endorsed by Trump. And just talk about how, you know, while there's a lot of these sour spots. in the school system and them violating parents' rights. But there's a lot of things to be happy about when it comes to the Supreme Court decisions, no more keeping secrets from parents, but also school choices on the march, particularly in red states, where families can now take their money that's meant for their kid to a school that's aligned with their values. 18 red states have passed such policies in the past five years alone, and it's because the teachers' unions showed parents their true colors during the COVID years. by exposing the left-wing agenda through Zoom school where parents said, you know what? I thought the schools were just supposed to be focused on math reading and writing. What the heck's going on here? We're hoping to find someone in the regime there or something like that that we can work with, meaning something like what happened in Venezuela. Immediately, you're seeing the other side say that's a betrayal. Now, I think that's smart to avoid chaos. And the point is to stop. Iran from having a nuclear weapon to stop them from being a threat to us and everybody else in the Middle East. All right, 855, 839, 1210. Tom Chiodato on Talk Radio 1210, WPHD. All right, it is Dom time. 85583, 9, 12, 10. So here's a little bit. Now it's mangled, you know, Trump's a weaver, all the back and forth. Here's what he said at the news conference with the German chancellor there about, okay, what is it we want in Iraq and Iran? What's the best solution here? And I think he could have just analogized it to what's going on in Venezuela. Here's what Trump said. What's the worst case scenario that you have planned for in Iran? Well, I don't know if there's a worst case. We have very much beaten militarily from the military standpoint. They're still lobbying some missiles. At some point, they won't even be able to do that because we're hitting all of their carriers. We're hitting all of their missile stock. You know, they built up all these missiles over the last few years. They had a lot of them. They've shot a lot of them, and we're knocking out a lot. I guess the worst case would be we do this, and then somebody takes over who's as bad as the previous person, right? That could happen. We don't want that to happen. It would probably be the worst you go through this, and then in five years you realize you put somebody in who was no better. So we'd like to see somebody in there that's going to bring it back for the people. And we'll see what happens with the people. You know, they have their chance. And we've said, don't do it yet. If you're going to go out and protest, don't do it yet. It's very dangerous out there. A lot of bombs are being dropped. But I always say that would be about the worst. Do you have someone in mind right now? Because you've said all the people you did have in mind have been taken out. Well, most of the people we had in mind are dead. So, you know, we had some in mind from that group that. is dead. And now we have another group. They may be dead also based on reports. So I guess you have a third wave coming in. Pretty sure we're not going to know anybody. All right. So you see there exactly what Bill O'Reilly. Thanks, Henry. You're getting in out on the dime. What Bill O'Reilly said yesterday, yes. They're talking about the people rising up and all that, but they're also looking at this in the interim, who knows how long, think Venezuela. Now, I think Tucker Carlson, doesn't that underline America first? Not about Israel, not about just quagmires in Iran.

It's about stopping them from having a nuclear weapon and ballistic missile capabilities, et cetera, and stopping always be on edge. We wake up one morning. They have a nuclear weapon. That's it. You know what it sets off. They're crazed religiously. A lot worse, I would say, even than the craziness of North Korea. And that's a problem. So he gave it right there. That sounds very America first to me. I don't think that sounds like he's going to get into a quagmire at all. Okay, coming up, we're going to talk with Meg Brock. Meg Brock was our caller of the year from Bucks County when we first did it, the very first one. She did a lot of work during COVID and also the schools hiding all this gender transitioning, gender dysphoria, the stuff that we heard in the Supreme Court decision yesterday. And she was castigated unbelievably. She works as an investigative reporter now for a daily caller. And I'll ask her about that and where this trend leads.
