110 segmentsTom Giordano on Talk Radio 1210, WPHT. Okay, it is Dom time. As we mentioned earlier, it just came out, and this may have happened even earlier this morning. Pam Bondi out as Attorney General. I don't remember anybody when Kristi Noem was out, saying anything positive. I certainly didn't for a while. What an embarrassment up and down the line. One of the causal elements of giving them fodder to go after ice. But Pam Bondi, I think, is a different case. Pam Bondi, I think, is very capable. But being put in the middle of the Epstein thing, it's easy for us to sit here and say, well, all she had to do is just put everything out there. That'd be the easy thing to say. You know some of the. back and forth over this, some of the stuff that's difficult with it. I didn't see too much else other than you could be critical of Pam Bondi, not being aggressive enough in some areas. That's been the criticism. Why are we not going full bore in this? I guess. But to me, Kash Patel is wildly inappropriate as the head of the FBI. That's the area that I'd be looking at. All right, so Pam Bondi out, not exactly either a major frontline player in this. I mean, so far, the key figures, and I would say the person who is the key figure in this cabinet is Marco Rubio. Yesterday, a lot made of the fact that Marco Rubio pushing back now against NATO and saying, why be in this? I'm still, I get what NATO has done over the years, the significance of it. But I guess the abuse of it is the very people the United States is spending money, et cetera, protecting do not want to rise to the occasion and even allow us to use their bases like Italy. Let's think about them. I'm really surprised with that one. The usual suspects, the French, the Germans, surprised at the Brits a bit. Todd Blanche will become the interim attorney general. You may remember he was the president's lawyer in the past, but potentially Lee Zeldin is what we're hearing this morning might become the attorney general. I don't know. Maybe Trump thinks he'll give Todd Blanche a tryout as attorney general. But Pam Bondi was not the star other than because of Epstein getting all the negativity. The star is Marco Rubio, and then pretty close is Robert F. Kennedy Jr.. Based upon he has had the most impact, arguably of anybody, and will continue to have that. After that, it's Pete Hegseth because of the War, because of the Department of War, because of his own style. Those are the three most prominent. On the negative, every time I see Howard Lutnick, it's a problem. So this is a main position, and I think Trump burned. You may remember top five things, mistake made or whatever, of the first Trump administration was the Attorney General Choice and what that led to, the difficulty, the whole thing. Pam Bondi, I don't think, could be seen as a failure. And I think she was in a really tough position. So.
We know the importance of the Attorney General. We know the tension there with any administration they're in. The all-time worst Attorney General to me, the one that set me off the most, I'm just going through my mind, it was Eric Holder. The sheer arrogance, the sheer lecturing us constantly, the sheer complicity in so many things, lecturing us about, you know, we're not going to have any of that. I am not the president's attorney and all that. Definitely, he couldn't be more protective of Obama. So Holder would be the worst to me. I got to say that Joe Biden's attorney general, as much as partisan toward Biden was not nearly as bad as Eric Holder was. All right. So it's 855, 839, 12, 10. You get on board. Why now? I don't know of any specific reason or anything that's particularly a trigger now that resulted into this. It's just kind of getting around to it. We'll see if Lee Zeldin moves from EPA to that. That's possible. Side question. Hit us with somebody too big to fail. Is Springsteen too big to fail? All right. Here is Harry Enten from CNN making a point about the midterms. This is cut 18. that I hear him on how bad the Democrat polling is. But I'm trying to be Paul Revere Dom Gerdano here saying the Republicans are sleepwalking to me. I mean, I don't know. I'm impatient. I admit beyond impatient. The mere thought of losing this because we're not on it quickly enough. People are not paying attention. Oh, stop. That's laziness. Democrat people are paying their side's paying attention. They can't wait to show up and get it Trump. Here's Harry Anton talking about the problem the Democrats have. These numbers are just atrociously awful, a double A for the Democrats here. I mean, just take a look here. Congressional Dems have the right priorities. Look at this. Overall, 74%, nearly 3% and 4 say no, just 25%. Overall say, yes, you might say, okay, well, at least Dems like Democrats. Uh-uh, not the case. Look at this. The majority of Democrats are independents who lean Democrats. Look at this. 55% say no, congressional Democrats do not have the right priorities. And then you just see a minority, 45% of Democrats say that congressional Democrats have the right priorities. This, to me, just jumps out of the screen because it screams primary challenges all over the map. All right, all true. I get it, but I think. Some of that is a Democrat base saying they're not going after Trump enough. They don't hate Trump enough. Anybody challenge me on that, that their base of hatred. It's a powerful thing. Loving somebody, wanting to vote to go over broken glass, yeah, that's one thing. But just having deranged hatred, that might be stronger. And they got the word. They're going to keep on saying it, affordability.
What's the Republican counter to this? What argument are they making that's inspiring people? They don't even seem to be trying at this point. I get it. The war at this point and trying to finish that off, I get the importance of it. All right, Robert and Ben Salem. Robert is next on Talk Radio 1210. Hey, Robert. Hey, Dom Henry, it's good to talk to you guys today. As always. Thank you. I'll touch on our problems with Europe another time, but I disagree with you on the midterms, and I think you're being a little reactionary. Now, the media has been doing this to Trump for 10 years now, and I don't think that the Republicans are standing still. They just don't have a media that's willing to parrot everything they say. So they're on a disadvantage of that, but it's not going to matter. Dom, with things that are in the works with the economy, and I'm convinced we're going to have success in Iran, and the moves that are being made playing the long game, I'm thinking that by the midterms, okay? I'm willing to make a prediction now, in fact, okay? We're going to come out with between 225 and 230 sheets in the House, and depending on what happens with Susan Collins and Maine, we're going to pick up one or two sheets in the Senate. I think that you're listening to the media and they're scaring you more than they should be allowed to. Okay. My counter is, so I, I, Robert, see what the other side has. It's undeniable, the force of hatred. I'm all about voter turnout. You're saying these people, they may be happy. I agree with you. We're hearing great stuff. David Alexander just sent it to me, too, of his mother shocked how much better she did doing your taxes, etc. That's all good. You think they're going to vote on that? Maybe I'm assured the other side is going to come out overwhelmingly, just like they did in Jersey with one thing in mind, we're going to get at Trump. And they're going to parrot the word affordability to move forward on that. You think the economy, people are going to be so happy over that, they're going to show up and vote. I say the Trump voter is not going to show up and vote unless he does more. That's the key right there. Right there. Nothing else matters. If the Republicans turn out, we're going to win. If we don't turn out, we deserve to lose, don't we? I would say no, because the other side's so wretched. I hear you, but I don't see the inspiration. Trump seems distracted on this. He's going to have a heart-to-heart constantly with Trump voters. I know. You hear them when we bring them on. Robert, they say from the White House, well, he is on the ballot. We're telling people President Trump's on the ballot. They know he's not really. He's got to reach them. He's the only one that can do it.
And if you look over the last years of all the things they've tried to do to destroy Trump, the only time they succeeded when they, in my opinion, cheated big in the 2020 election. They're terrified of him, so they're doing what they're doing just to anything they can to make sure that Trump and Magid doesn't win in the midterms. But it's not going to win. You have me on tape, Dom, okay? I hear you. And again, I'm betting on hatred versus people sitting on their couch. They love Trump. They'll go to the rallies. But they sicken me. I've got to admit I'm not running for office that they sicken me. We have to beg them to vote. But that's my point, Dom. Don't worry about anything other than us turning out. We're going to win on the issues. We're going to win on the economy. Of course. I agree with you on that. And he's breaking paradigms left and right. And I just think that don't listen to the mainstream. Man, the mainstream media is so evil. Dom, you've got to stop paying attention to that. I mean, pay attention to them, but keep them in contact. I'm paying attention to my gut, which you were just in agreement with. Which says, I know what the enemy has. The other side's the enemy here. They're going to have turnout. I don't feel my turnout here. And that's all that matters. We're in agreement. But I think that hate doesn't last as long as accomplishment and well-being of the country. That's my opinion. Okay. I can tell you. Look at these people. Yes. The beautiful thing is we get to see what happens and talk about it as it goes. Well, I hope that you're right, though. I defer to that. I'll eat crow that night. I don't want to be sitting here at like 847 in saying they've taken over the house. I would never quit the microphone. I was on Robert when Mitt Romney was done by 1130 that night. I won't say the name of the co-host, no longer here. Yeah. He just said, let's get off the air. I'm like, what the hell? This is when people really need us. No, I think I'm confident going into the midterms, even looking at what's going on right now. But I'll get to my side question. Yes. Really love kicking that around with you, Dom. One of the problems of living in a successful, prosperous country, Dom, is that people who don't deserve to be too big to fail can be too big to fail. Too big to fail is a first world problem. They don't have this problem in poor countries. If you ain't good, there's no money to support you so you are out. But here, there's enough money in this country so that any nudnik can support any nudnik. And that's, I mean, we have to accept that as a downside of living in a great country like this. But to me, the... The one that is too big to fail, unfortunately, is our Kay Ivey League universities.
With the money they charge, with the information that they pedal, there's still a market for people out there with money who aren't aware of what's going on. And unfortunately, we're going to have these elite colleges for a long time. I may have to take myself out of the voting because that is such a good answer. And my bias is so much toward what you said with big college. Well, in that case, stay in the voting, Don. Have a great day, you guys. Thank you, Robert. Yes, I can't help it. My bias. Tag me in. Make me the czar of going after a big college. I just think I would be in a hospital for overwork. I'm not sleeping. I'm not sleeping until I bring pain down. Oh, that would be maybe the worst job in the United States. Yeah, exactly. That is a great one. Big college. Well, the Republicans haven't done a good enough job. By the way, I should have mentioned this early on. Lee Zeldin being touted, what would be wrong with Harming Dylan as Attorney General? I forget the exact issue, Deputy Attorney General, Todd Blanche. Not exactly crazed over Todd Blanche. I like Harvey Dillon in that role. She brings a lot of different things to it. She's been the one on religious freedom and a bunch of other stuff. So with Pam Bondi out in a key role, Todd Blanche's interim Attorney General, how about tagging in Harvey Dillon? 855, 8, 3, 9, 12, 10. And my person, if you're a new listener, the thing Robert and I are going back and forth with, it's the same thing with Iran and nuclear weapons. I'm never going to believe we've done everything we can on anything to win. So I'm not being impressed with Repa. I think they're kidding themselves here. Well, what do you mean? And if we raise $100 million, you've got to raise $200 million. To the last second and beyond, you have to beat them into the ground. You have to constantly, and that's why that it appalls me, that our buddy, Alante McCauley, you've heard with African-American guy, lighting the world on fire here, Philadelphia City Council. And look, he's a raw talent. I get it. But how in the world did the local Republican Party cancel this barbershop event with Stacey Garrity? Stacey Garrity is down to a guy who is ruthless beyond beliefs in the governor's race. He's got a lot of flaws, right? He's insufferable. But Josh Shapiro is a killer politically. And going to a barbershop in North Philly, a town hall, etc. It's exactly the type of stuff, Stacey Care. And McCauley quarterbacked it. And I believe she canceled it because of pressure from the local Republicans. And they can say whatever they want about me on Twitter that I'm pimping for McCauley. This guy is exactly what you should be embracing and channeling into the Republican Party. We need a viable Republican Party in Philadelphia. If you don't have it, they murder us here. It's safe territory. And then you have little or no shot statewide unless Trump's on the ticket. That's the only way you win. Get guys like this. Take raw talent. You know, get them to buy in. Get them to be part of your system. It should stun us. I think people are beyond being outraged with the local Republicans.
And that's why anything they do like this, they get away with it. They just get the crumbs from Democrats. They sit around with that. And when a guy comes along with energy and real savvy and using social media, they don't want to hear it. All right, 855, 839, 12, 10, I see somebody with another candidate for AG who would be great to. And really, I think she got the short end of the stick here in this administration. I think she's a real talent. 855, 839, 12, 10 hit us, and is Springsteen too big to fail? Something you've got to face. How does he get brought down? The prices are people complain constantly. And yet I think in Minnesota it was a sellout. I mean, his audience allegedly is like middle class itch. How many people are going to pay $1,000 for a seat? Henry, what's the most you ever paid for a concert? I don't know, like 160 maybe. I don't get a lot of concerts. Yeah, okay, yeah. I mean, I think that's normal. I don't know if I paid, you know, something like that. Yeah. But I'm not paying a thousand bucks even for something like this. That's like me trying to go to like the All-Star game or the World Cup this summer where it's like I want to go but like I don't want to go that bad. Yeah, exactly. Exactly right. Amory, I know you're down the shore doing whatever. Give us a call. Are you swearing love Springsteen yet? Come on. You can't help it. If you're a Springsteenaholic, you can make a call here and tell us and we'll talk you through. We'll get to the higher power. The apology. George Costanza standing by. 855, 839, 1210. Tom Gierdano on Talk Radio 1210, WPHT. All right, Dom Jirdanos show. Hey, nothing happened with the Ump last night, right? Henry, I didn't see anything. Oh, you know what? I didn't see anything either. Oh, man, that's right. Yeah, maybe he didn't call balls and strikes. I can't imagine it. I must have a tight strike sound tonight. He knew everyone was watching. Oh, yeah, exactly. Exactly. All right, so we got Pam Bondi out. All kinds of names surfacing. Lee Zeldin, for some reason, seems to be the one. But Todd Blanche getting a tryout, I guess, as Attorney General. And I think Pam Bondi was viewed as not aggressive enough. But the Epstein thing put her in the center of a very, very difficult. So I'm not sure why Pam Bondi out at this point. It's a bit unclear. And we'll see more of this. I mean, it's normal in the second administration to see more shuffling, more stuff happened here. This isn't being taken like Kristi Noem, who was really, really detrimental. 855-839-1210. Let's go to John and Langhorne. John, you're on Talk Radio 1210. Hi, John. Hi, Dom. I'd like to, for Attorney General, I like to nominate Elise Stefanik. Is Elise Stefanik an attorney, though? I'm not sure. You know, that I don't know either. Yeah. But boy, is she a bulldog? Oh, yeah. Yeah. And she got the short end of the stick here. You know, she was primed to be the UN ambassador and I think would have been unbelievable. And I've interviewed her seven or eight times. You're exactly right.
Yeah, no, she would be a pit bull. And her biggest compliment was when she was a congresswoman, when she, I forget exactly who it was, but she was just taking on the Democrats. Like that week, she was on SNL being, uh. mocked. Oh, yeah. Well, that's a high honor. When SNL mocks you, put you in there, that's a good sign. Yeah. That's a good sign. It was right from the get-go. So anyway, she would be my nomination. Okay. You got aside who or what is too big to fail? Well, Springsteen's going to fail. But the thing that can't fail is God. But that was absolutely true. That's why we never take God or Bible answers. What are we going to do? Oh, yeah, God's going to fail. Come on. Yeah, exactly. That's why that's the rule. No Hitler. No religious answer because we'd be, you know, put behind the eight ball here. By the way, oh, he took a foul ball to a place left the game after. Fucker. After an inning or two? Yeah, one point two innings, yeah. Oh, God. One and two thirds. Is that a dated expression? Now, to say he's no Einstein, I think is still current. Nobody else, nobody's going to say he's no Elon Musk, right? I don't think so. No. Is Elon Musk too big to fail? I'd say yes. He does crazy stuff. Look at all the stuff he's been involved in, and yet his IPO is valued, his valuation is $1.7 trillion that's come up. Yeah. 1.7 trillion. He is too big to fail. Is behind the eight ball a dated expression or do people know what that means? Yeah, totally. You think so still? I'll still use that. I don't know if there's any. I'm always curious about the dated ones. But Einstein still is going to be there for a he's too big to fail. You're not going to beat Einstein. It's a hair too. The whole thing. Yeah, the famous picture of this tongue out and everything. It's like, oh, yeah, genius. Yeah. I don't know. If I went into Philadelphia public schools and said, is Einstein, who's Einstein? I think that's what you'd get. I'm serious. I think they're fraudulent beyond fraudulents, world class, except for the Newark schools, which are in the news now because they can't find $275 million plus. Well, where did it go? Find it. No, they don't know what it was spent on. They don't go. We're going to see jail. Who's their accountant? Well, I think hundreds of people, literally hundreds should go to jail over this. That's how bad. Even for Newark, it's that bad. Joe is in C. Kane, our second C. Kane caller. Hey, Joe, good afternoon. Good afternoon, Dom. Are you ready for this? I recently found a recording by Bruce Springsteen, and I was wondering if he'd like to hear it. Yeah, go ahead. Fire away. Get ready for this. Bored with the USA. I am bored with the USA. I charged $3,000 just to watch me play. Hang with De Niro and Hanoid James.
Bang, baby, bang, bang. I made my money. That's all I can see. I don't care what anybody says. I was bored with the USC. That is so good, Joe. Where have you been all this time? I didn't know we had that talent. You've got to hit us with them once a week. That's really good. And it's hard. Some people can do it for 10 seconds. You kept going. That's pretty good. Impressive. There you go. Absolutely. And what's the one that the other question you have? Too big to fail. Too big to fail. Thank you very much, Joe. I put that in a promo. Too big to fail. That sounds like a jinx. I'm here down to say we're too big to fail. It doesn't mean literally. It means, I mean, the Roman Empire, how many centuries they were too big to fail? And they thought Rome would always be there. How many years were they actually in charge? It seems like 400 is a number I would pull out of my head that the Roman Empire actually existed before it failed. All right. Coming up, we'll give you, we have 145. We have Kerry. Oh, now. Oh, okay. All right, my fault then. All right. We have her coming up here on Talk Radio 1210. Kerry Urban, who is the go-to for me of the legal analyst on Fox News channel. A lot to talk about next on Talk Radio 1210. Tom Giardano on Talk Radio 1210, WPHT. All right, big issues, big guests. Carrie Urban is one of our favorite Fox News analysts and legal matters and what a day to have her on. I think the first visit here to Philadelphia here on Talk Radio 1210. Carrie, we're big fans. Thank you for joining us today. Thanks for having me on. Well, Pam Bondi, surprised by this. It was in the wind earlier this morning. And if so... What, if anything, when this comes up on Fox, do you think was the flaw that resulted in this, if anything? You know, what I've heard in general is that President Trump likes Pam Bondi a lot as a person. He trusts her. He thinks she's loyal. Remember, she defended him during the impeachment proceedings. And so they go back quite a while. I think Susie Wiles liked her a lot as well. The Florida connection, they both were lobbyists at the same firm. But there were a number of mishaps that occurred that I think were probably frustrating to the president, among them being the Epstein files and how that was handled. If you remember, Pam Bondi said that she had these files and they contained certain things, and it seemed that there were something there that would, I think, I think she led people to believe in a TV appearance that there were some bombshells. And those bombshells weren't there, but as you... No, and as you've seen, it ended up being this can of worms that just can't be closed at this point, and people are just demanding for more and more information. So I think that may have been one of the things that frustrated the president. And, you know, look, Todd Blanche, who is now the temporary attorney general. He has been the number two at DOJ. He, just in general, the number two at the department is the one who's responsible for running the day-to-day operations. Todd's a really sharp guy.
Great lawyer, very savvy. He defended Trump in that ridiculous criminal trial in New York City involving Stormy Daniels. And so that'll be good. And again, I suspect that the president continues to think highly of Pam, but realize that she's maybe not quite the right fit for this job. I've noticed Todd Blanche appear more, and maybe it was just the CPAC stuff, but it was obvious to me. I didn't connect it to this fully and more aggressive, I would say, and some of the things he was saying. Did you notice that the last weekend, CPAC, and a couple of other places? Yeah, Todd has continued to take a more prominent role, but I think for those of us in Washington and those of us who were just following these things very closely in the lawyer circle, it was known to us that Todd was already making a lot of the big decisions behind the scenes of the department. And so it's really no surprise to anyone that he is now in charge. Carrie Urban Witness, Carrie, the citizen case, the birthright citizenship case. Are you reading the tea leaves of both Connie Amy Coney Barrett following the Chief Justice that they are completely not on board with this? Or is that just the media spin of what happened yesterday? Yeah, it doesn't seem like the Trump administration is going to prevail in this case. despite the fact that they have a very strong argument. I was actually surprised when I was listening to the arguments how little they discussed the origins of the 14th Amendment, which was, of course, a reaction to a remedy to fix the terrible Dred Scott Supreme Court decision that said that, you know, African-American slaves and their children were not citizens and therefore didn't have rights. That's why the 14th Amendment was created to make sure that these people would have been here hundreds of years. would have the rights that they deserved. This is right after the Civil War. And in fact, Justice Clarence Thomas raised this in the beginning. And he said, it was a very good question. He said, how much at the time was immigration discussed around the 14th Amendment? You know, and obviously the answer is, you know, not at all, right? Because that wasn't the purpose. And yet here we are today with this birthright citizenship clause, which is what this Supreme Court in 1898. decided that it was. They're the ones who created it. They're the ones who interpreted that clause to mean what it means today. Unfortunately, as we've seen, people exploit it all the time. But that was another thing that justices weren't that interested in discussing, the real world implications of what's actually happening. Now, they would say that's because that's not their job, that's policy, that's legislating from the bench. But, of course, we do live in a real world. And I think there are a lot of people who think it's fundamentally unfair that someone can just pop over the border. and then suddenly become a citizen. And that's it. I think that's a great insight, Carrie. Both the first part of it, they didn't do enough job. So it allowed Connie Amy Coney Barrett and the others to be on a higher plane saying, well, we just want to look at the Constitution. Yet, Connie Amy Coney Barrett in particular, Ketanji Brown Jackson also, but they kept on talking about how messy this would be. So they don't like it because it's going to be messy. Who knows what serve papers when the woman's giving birth.
They were playing that game because not enough was done, I think, solidly on the constitutional part to say, hey, it might be messy, but you've got to do your duty here. Constitutionally, this is flawed. Yeah, yeah. And, you know, what's also interesting, and John Sauer, who is the Solicitor General, the one who argues the cases on behalf of the Justice Department, did a phenomenal job, by the way, another excellent lawyer, really good, really sharp. You know, at one point he raised, and this was also raised in the brief, the fact that, you know, other countries have eliminated birthright citizenship. This is not uncommon for countries to have it, and then to decide to not have it anymore. But Brett Kavanaugh addressed its... squarely and said that wasn't relevant to the arguments because, again, they were looking square like just the Constitution and what does domicile mean and what does it mean to... intend to stay here and what does it mean to owe allegiance to a country to be subject to the laws. So I'd be surprised if the administration pulled out a victory in this matter, but I don't think that most people thought they would. And I give them credit for bringing the case to the court's attention. The fact that the court took it up at all because, you know, they don't have to. It says that they think it's a serious issue and one that needed to be considered. I would agree all the time I've been doing talk radio. This is among the top five things that talk radio listeners would call in about years and years and years and go nuts. This can't be particularly chain migration. So it's the best of Trump. This is a hard thing taking it on. And even if it fails, I agree with you. It's to be commended. I wanted to talk about one other case out there too with you. And that's the Facebook case. You were the prime person on Fox. when that broke. I was kind of surprised, Carrie. It seems to be incredibly important. There's going to be all sorts of other cases brought off this, but it was small amounts, right, of damages that were awarded here. small amounts, but huge significance in what it means for the thousands of other cases that are percolating around the country. And the reason I think the win for the plaintiff in this particular case is so significant is because of the legal theory. It was kind of brilliant of the plaintiff's lawyer to bring a product's liability claim against these social media companies. It felt like a stretch at first, but his argument was, look, your products are inherently defective. You've intentionally created these mechanisms that are designed to addict, and that addiction causes harm. And the reason that was so smart was because it kept it completely out of the realm of Section 230, which is the law that social media companies have traditionally hid behind. It says that online platforms can't be responsible for the content uploaded by other people.
And so what the plaintiff lawyer did here, he said, hey, look, we're not regulating content. We're not looking to go after speech. This is nothing to do with any of that. We're saying the product itself is the problem. And the jury agreed. Do you think, in your judgment, the fact base of that, though, that that's going to stand, that they did prove this is addictive, the mechanism they use, etc., particularly with younger people? I thought they made a really strong case. I did. And the reason being is that the plaintiffs put up some really good witnesses, people who had formerly worked at META, who talked about the research that they had, knowing that it was causing this harm to young people, ignoring it, going ahead of any way, trying to get kids as young as they could, these algorithms, the endless play, the scrolling. mechanisms that they were creating in order to keep the user, irrespective of the harm that they ultimately discovered they were causing. There were executives who testified that Mark Zuckerberg knew they'd go to him, they'd tell him this, they'd say they'd have concerns, they were just troubled by it and that he wouldn't care and pushed forward anyway. That said, though, I do think the fact that it was brought in California is also why they won. This was an easier case to win there, and that's for a couple of reasons. One, the jury didn't have to be unanimous. only nine out of 12 had to agree. So that's, you know, that's significant. The other reason I think, the other thing I think it was helpful for them was the fact that the harm, what the descendants did here, which is meta and Google, only had to be a substantial factor in what happened with the plaintiff. So in a lot of states, you have this thing called but-for causation, that the harm that the plaintiff has experienced never would have occurred. but for the bad behavior of the defendants. Here, it only had to be a substantial factor. And the way the plaintiff's lawyer described it was, look at a cupcake. It only needs a little baking soda to rise. But that baking soda does make a difference. And was there basically enough baking soda here to have added to been a contributing factor to the plaintiff's mental harm? And the jury found that, yes, there was. Boy, what an analysis. Carrie, thank you so much. When do we see you on Fox again? Or is there a regular? Is it just breaking news? Typically legal issues, breaking news. So I pop up all over the place, depending what's happening in the world. Well, we are fans, Carrie. Thank you. Thanks for coming on today. I hope to talk again soon. Thanks very much. Carrie Urban here on Talk Radio 1210. Really different, concise, her sense that Todd Blanche might be the AG ultimately here. Okay. I don't think he's going to tag in, Janine Piro, those of you who are sending it to me. I don't see it. And I don't think Alina Habba is going to be tagged in. Oh, my God. Can you see the battles, the testimony?
Can you just see Democrats lining up? Eric Swalwell and people like this with Alina Habba. Alina Habba, 855, 839. No, Janine Piro is, oh, my God. Wow. Yeah, I don't like that. I would tag Army Dillon in pretty tough, but I think he's going to give Todd Blanche a shot. And Lee Zeldin, who's not exactly controversial, but very effective, could be the person. All righty. And you heard her sense of where this hat. That's true that Pam Bondi talked about stuff on her desk. I think she was on with the Sean Hannity on Fox went a little bit out there. And she really got boxed in with Epstein. I don't know who could have dealt with Epstein effectively. But the person to me, I have to say every time I see it is Kash Patel. I don't see this guy ahead in the FBI. All right. Side question. Too big to fail. And when you call in on that, Is Springsteen too big to fail? Most people haven't gone wild on that. They basically said, yeah, look at it. You can charge anything you wants and still masquerade is this. I love Joe of Columbus, custodian of our emotions. You have people that are captive to that, more than anybody takes you back to that. He exploits it at this point. All right, let's talk about Dr. Bence for a moment in great dental care. Dom Giardano presents. Progressive women. Your words are garbage and you're a bad person at this point. Gone wild.
All right. So we got a great candidate. Well, it's a, well, these guys are males. Allegedly YouTube.com slash 1210 WPHG. You have to see this. It's a guy at the No Kings that men that are in the movement of these progressive women gone wild to show their antagonism or their intentions against President Trump. They're now wearing red lipstick. Let me make a point before we show and play this guy. I don't understand, Henry. And Roe is completely anti-lipstick. Why does lipstick get such a bad name? Not with men, with women. What happened to the lipstick industry? I don't know. They really fumbled a bag on that, didn't they? How many listeners right now that are females? What percentage are wearing lipstick at 1.50 in the afternoon? Very low. I'd say under 10%. Under 10%. That's shocking. He's right. If you are, we'd like to know why. Or you're in my camp on this. Lipstick is the final accessory. It's perfect. Yeah, for like a night out. Okay. Well, if you look good, how about during the day? I don't think people want to look good during the day anymore. Right. I think they just show up what they want to look like. The man is not wrong. I'm trying to think Dawn wears lipstick. I'm ashamed Dawn Stone out of here. I think she'd be in my camp on this. I'm pretty sure. Dawn. Dawn isn't that 10%. Yeah. Even at 4 o'clock in the morning. Yeah. All right. So here is our homage to progressive women gone wild. These are guys that are with the women here going against Trump. Listen to this guy. Hello, it's the master. The reason I have red lipstick on is because I'm at the demonstration in Traverse City. There are thousands of us. And red lipstick I was informed last night by my friend Jen was a form of resistance when Hitler was trying to take over the world. He didn't like women wearing red lipstick. So I've decided red lipstick. Everybody put on red lipstick to show resistance against... You know who. Be kind to yourself, be kind to others over and out. My God, this might be the most arranged yet, even though he wasn't screaming. He's going back to Hitler not liking red lipstick, so guys putting on red lipstick to antagonize Trump. Robert of Ben Salem. Do you hear this? They're going to be showing up with the polls and they're going to have red lipstick on. That's what I'm afraid of. All right. Henry is losing this battle. I'm winning on this. America is anti-prank. Remember yesterday? We really didn't want prank, but it morphed into that of Fools and April Fool's Day. So the Wizards, who the Sixers played yesterday, did a prank at halftime. where a guy was blindfolded and told he shot from half court that it went in and he won $10,000. Right. And the backlash was so bad. Wait, and even I'm not on board with this part.
So, Henry, what's the thing here that is amazing? So let me read the statement the Wizards put out just over an hour ago. They said, we apologize for last night's April Fool's joke that left many wondering if we had misled a fan. The skit involving our mascot and other members of our performance team was scripted and intended to celebrate the day. All participants were in on the joke, but we missed the mark. Our fans are... our priority, and we continue to be committed to providing a positive experience to all who attend our games. So, yeah, you find out here that, yeah, this big April Fool's prank on a quote-unquote fan was actually a skit, and the backlash is so bad that a professional basketball organization has to still apologize for it. I don't understand why you have to apologize for it if it's all fake. Just come out and say that it's all fake. And then it's okay. Then people go, oh, you know what? That's kind of funny. That's kind of funny now. And they won't be so but hurt. People are anti-prank just because you're pro-prank. That's what it is. No, I just don't think big corporations should coutail to the public this easily. Well, I agree. If you want to apologize for something, apologize for the product you've been putting on the court for the last 20 years. How about that? That is true. Well, and changing your name from that great name, the Washington Bullets. And they sometimes would do a gunfire. Now, even I might be doing that over the PA doing a gunfire in Washington. Yeah, but the National Guard's there now, so no problem. All right. So, yeah, that's pretty bad. The guy was in on it. He's part of the staff or whatever. It was all in April Fool's joke. And the backlash was so bad, they had to apologize for the prank, even though nobody was prank, essentially, other than the audience. Yeah. Who thought the guy was straight. Kyle Kendrick weighed in and said, gotcha. Yeah, thank God, yeah. Thank God. Where's my apology? All right. Coming up, we're going to go to the White House and talk with Anna Kelly, White House, principal deputy press secretary about last night's speech. Really enjoyed Carrie Urban. Hope to have her back pretty soon. And Dom's Money Melody, who knows what Carter's will go down today for a big prize, as we always have. But I'm loving these all-time, too big to fail. 855, 8, 3, 9, 12, 10 is Springsteen too big to fail? Is he up there with the NFL Catholic Church? Henry, who was your number one again? I think my number one answer would probably be the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Yes, that's right. Yeah, and it appeared. Kirk, your number one was... He's on the phone. Oh, he's on the phone. Okay. All right. So we got all of that going on in a big 2 o'clock hour. 855-839, 1210. Domjiudano, weekdays, noon till 3. From Talk Radio 1210, WPHD.
