Hey everyone, good Friday morning. Welcome in here with Dom Kirk and Henry, and it's a busy week. Good Friday, of course, gets our attention Easter on the horizon. But something that kind of summarizes this whole week on all the issues that go on with President Trump. By the way, we'll get to Victoria Coach. She's going to come on each week at 2 o'clock. Nobody better in the country. to break down what's happening in Iran. And Victoria Coates from the Heritage Foundation has a big column up today at the New York Post indicating a second front in this war with Iran. Now this is more slow moving. She says the Iran war has the second front and Tehran has already lost it. That would be the economy. And I'm not exactly sure. I'll ask her what the, they just put in. Now, think about what goes on when we take a penny out, right? Just in the last month or two, they have put in not one, but two new forms of currency. One is a $5 million note. What the heck? Now, I don't know, translating that, it's probably 50 cents at the corner store. Put it in a vending machine and you still need $2. But another is a $10 million on their form of currency, or $10 million in their form. Now, we'll try to ask her, what does that translate into? It's indicative that inflation is running rampant, that the people, this is what brings down not just regime change, changing to players, but actual change. So we'll find out how rampant is inflation, but that's going to take a while. And let's face it. The country, you can't spin this, is not in the mood. Joe of Columbus calls in and gives us his feelings on this, did his service by setting a date. He said he'd be okay with it in a sense he understands what's going on until Memorial Day. And people pick these milestones, and that's the next big milestone out there, and we're still hearing two to three weeks. That would keep it inside April. Now, you know, President Trump's instinct is to get out of there. That speech the other night didn't say a whole lot, and that's one of the reasons. It's a placeholder on the good news front slightly. South Korea and France are allying to try to open up the strait of four moves. Okay, we know that's where the difficulty is. That's the ultimate difficulty. And I'll ask Victoria Coates in detail, not just blowing past it. President said the other night that our satellites can pick up this enriched uranium at a certain point. It is apparently buried. You know me on this, though. After all this, this is the one thing we need. Certitude. And that's very hard with them because they're going to continue to do this. Despite the devastation, we're knocking down bridges now.
So nothing completely new on this front other than the clock is ticking, what is the outcome here that will satisfy people, and the midterm clock is ticking even bigger. I saw this today, and it's being meant Washington Post to attack Tom Homan and ICE. And what it says is that despite the promises after some of the incidents in Minnesota, ICE has been taking out a number of people who are here illegally and they say have not committed any other violent crimes. Well, what this tells me exactly what I told you the problem was in Minnesota. It's a hostile territory. They're barely in the country when it comes to federal law. but also when homin went in there he removed ice from all where the agitation is surrounded by these crowds etc christineome was a side show bovino was bad And Tom Homan is methodically following through. Notice what he did with ice in the airports. We haven't had major incidents, and that's remarkable. And yet even the Washington Post says that Tom Homan's ice is removing a substantial number of people. And this isn't just those with drunk driving, rape, child molestation, all those crimes. It is people, they say, with little or no record. So how is he doing that? Because he's Tom Homan, because I would have put him in charge of Homeland Security, but maybe this is his real goal. And you can see in the wake of all this how effective he is. But here's an example of what we're up against. And our buddy, Pat Malloy out in Abington, has been on multiple times to talk about this. Now, this was over in Bucks County, Nishamene Valley's section of Ben Salem. on January 31st, and it's just coming to light from the New York Post. No, NBC10. Three people are in custody after a string of burglaries in our region. The suspects are believed to be part of a South American theft group working out of the Queen section of New York. Here illegally, Colombian nationals, there may be four. We have three of them now. I went to four separate homes. The suspects tried to enter the first three homes through rear doors. But they fled after the homeowners or alarm systems scared them off. The boldness of this. It's like 8 o'clock at night. Using surveillance footage, license plate readers, and witness statements, Ben Salem police who are excellent, were able to identify the vehicles involved. The incidents were able to be matched with other incidents in Pennsylvania, Jersey, New York, and Connecticut.
They have been identified as Robinson, John Paul, Maconda, Patrick Royo. That guy's got five names, okay? The other guy, Danielle, Alexandra Garcia, Arenas, and Yisan Estevan, Gonzalez, Rodriguez. All right? What is this about? They're emboldened because they're here. And they're here illegally to set up these big, and this is South American countries. If I remember right, the one in Abington may have been with Peru or something. This is Columbia. And this is the M.O. This is what Americans face. Now, we have enough of our own criminals or burglars, etc. We don't need people headquartered in New York who are here illegally coming down here to have to get scared away by homeowners. Otherwise, they would be devastated. And this is an ongoing thing. This is the type of thing that the Trump administration, wherever it lands, have done a remarkable job. By the way, one fun story of the week, Don Lamon, I'm still not sure his legal status, made news in the middle of this week, Don Lemon, saying, sure, he could run for president. Then he talked about his chances. So the Twitterverse put up several polls. Who should be Don Lemon's running me? First place, of course, Joy Reed, 41.8%. Second place, Brian Stelder, 24.6. Third place, Kathy Griffin, 19.3. And fourth place, Anthony Fauci, 14.3. They all would be perfect for Don Lemon. So we got a lot going on today. We have the job numbers that we'll get to and what that means, how that plays out. And again, yesterday, one of the most regrettable characters we talked about. And I have to tell you, they were great calls yesterday. People were precise. They weren't just ranting and raving about Bruce Springsteen. Springsteen, too big to fail. Dynamic pricing, $1,000 a seat, a fraudulent figure. But people concede it. Trump got off a pretty good line overnight with him. Will Springsteen be suing his plastic surgeon? Not bad. But this one is even worse when it comes to Trump critics. Sharon Stone, who at one point was the hottest actress out there, etc. Casino, that role. She on a podcast. Who did she say is the, her words, the best kisser in Hollywood? Who is it that knocked her out of her shoes? Who is the big kisser in Hollywood? And she actually went through this, the 68-year-old actress, closed her eyes at the memory of Robert De Niro kissing her right out of her shoes in casino. Yep.
She says she's kissed them all, so to speak. And the guy is De Niro. It never ends. De Niro is worse than Springsteen, right? De Niro's a bigger talent, but he has melted down more, has been more caustic, just more bizarre. Although he doesn't do it usually, you know, because of film, there's no audience there. So between Springsteen, and De Niro. I still go De Niro, but Sharon Stone, best kisser in the business. By the way, Sharon Stone didn't make progressive women gone wild, but today we have the head of OBGYN who has a couple million followers on TikTok in the docket at 1.45, our usual time for progressive women gone wild. You don't want to miss this each and every day. This one It's going to be big trouble. She's not just, and what is it with health care teachers? Yeah, these women in those professions are suspect. So we'll have that, but we also have the Friday 5. Now, Henry and I strangely have agreed the week we did all-time best movies. We did all-time best TV shows. We've had some agreement. Today, The all-time five worst holiday foods. And we're including the candies with Easter on the horizon, okay? All-time. You can hit me on Twitter at Dom Show 1210 if you have a nominee. I have a really solid list. Roe even contributed to it. And you know some of my, I have the number one. How does this food, including candy, how does it exist? That's every Friday at 1245. So we'll get to that. A good tactic with Pam Bondi being let go and the temporary AG. but they have to do a better job at publicizing this and putting even more resources into this is fraud. In California, the Medicaid fraud, and we're trying to get Dave Sunday, the Attorney General of Pennsylvania, back on. He doesn't do a lot of media. He was touted this week as the number one out of 50 AGs nationwide. of curtailing Medicaid fraud, prosecuting people successfully, putting the fear of God in them here in Pennsylvania. It tells you there's also a lot of Medicaid fraud. So I just want to know when they're going to come here because in California, the Medicaid fraud is probably they're guesstimating approaching a quarter of the economy, a quarter of the economy of Medicaid fraud. You know it's a fraudulent place. But Mike, how about Jersey? How about if we turn over the rocks in Jersey? Again, Matt Rooney, Richie, always sit down with these guys in five minutes. All right, here's where you're going to go. Here's this bodega. Here's this place over here. And there was a bodega this week that was about 15 million in food stamp fraud. How in the world does this get past the authorities for that length of time? Well, this is an area for the Trump administration to strike.
big time because it's there and it's here in the swing state of Pennsylvania without a doubt 855 839 1210 I'll give you the side question coming up in a moment and it involves the trip around the moon again locally and we may have somebody along we'll get to this there are Moms for Liberty school board members Nothing wrong with that. In fact, great organization. We love them. They've done great work nationally. What the heck goes on at Upper Perkiomen? Upper Perkiomen has been the site of a lot of disputes that make the news. Now the dispute is in a middle school. It's only a middle school there. There's a dispute with some board members pushing to remove so-called pride flags. from the schools there. And I guess they're in the high schools also, but this one is the middle school where they dispute is. And again, is that a political statement? Of course it is. This is a ridiculous thing that we're back to. But thank God, Moms for Liberty is on there, and they've won various lawsuits. There will be a lot of pushback on this. And we saw in the NBA this week, the guy that was waived by the Chicago Bulls. This is an area where you're not allowed to question it without deep, deep repercussions. So we'll be all over that. Yeah, I'm just looking too. I pulled up. I mentioned earlier a moment ago. Despite signaling change, ICE still arrest many immigrants with no record. And Holman didn't say that. He said, we're coming after the worst of the worst, but everybody's on the table if you're here illegally. That's the bottom line. The other story of this week as we round toward Easter, Henry and I have been having this great debate about the computer system in baseball. I'm looking at a dozen articles today saying people are going to games just waiting for that moment. It's the highlight of the game. I get it. It's good for attendance and baseball and all that. Is it good for the sport? And here's a great headline today. CB Buckner. Remember this guy? He's a guy last weekend, Cincinnati versus the Red Sox, who was challenged eight times. I guess he ran out of time. And he was wrong on six of them, balls and strikes. Then he's not even looking. He's the first base umpire the other night, Brewer's game. The guy runs right through the bag, hits a bag, first base. He calls him out when they tag him saying he never touched first face. And it was obvious to everyone imaginable. Headlined CB Buckner just single-handedly legitimized robot umpires in baseball. I guess I look at it too much big picture. You know, what's next? What sports going to do this next? I get it. It's a thrill at a baseball game. And one of the things that makes it work is New York looks at it or they look at it through a computer system and they have it within a matter of what? A minute, minute and a half and it builds up. You hear the challenge time and all. In other words, it does drag the game. It's not forever. And that is a big plus. I'm still against it.
I just think it's a tendency toward taking away something from baseball. But so far, it's been effective. All right, let me give you the side question of the day here with Dom. Get your name into the hat. You got a big prize end of the week. We'll draw that at the end of the show. So we see the trip around the moon, all right? What we're looking for today, and I've never asked this, we've never done this with the side question. It's the age-old question put into like a pet peeve form, which is, they can put a man on the moon. We did once, right, unless you're a conspiracy nut. But why can't they blank? Now, we expect outside the box entertaining answers. It's all in the call today. So when I was thinking about this yesterday, talking with Henry, I happened to see a guy who invented a system in golf. It's a pointing system. You'll see pro-golfers use to putt. And he put it this way. How come we can put a rover on Mars and have pictures instantaneously? But golfers can't read a 10-foot putt. Now, I know, that's really granular. But we're looking for an answer to that all-time question. You've got to come with something really creative today. They can put a man on the moon, or at least go around the moon. Why can't we what? I'll tell you one thing we've done, and then we'll start to take calls 855, 839, 12, 10. The Trump administration... uh goes all in on undermining that automatic engine stopper that helps lower emissions you know the thing that you have to figure out ways to get around you don't like it it'll like you're startled the first time it feels like the engine shut off it's not then it starts up when you hit the gas again uh they uh are working on this big time, big article in today's Wall Street Journal that indicates this is just another one of the things that they're doing and will have done that Americans like. So it's not hopeless for the midterms. I don't want to come across saying, I just need urgency from the Republicans and from you today on your calls. A lot of great guests coming up to Friday 5, etc. Hit us right now at 855, 8, 3, 9, 12, 10. They can put a man on the moon. Why can't they what? All right. We'll get Henry's. We'll get Kirks. We'll get yours. Big Friday show here on Talk Radio 1210, WPHT. Dom Tjordano on Talk Radio 1210, WPHT. All right, it is Dom time. Check out the purple tie. Just perfect for Easter as part of the uniform of the day. YouTube.com slash 1210 WPHT. Big story, of course. We're getting reports that, of course, President Trump briefed on this down F-15 in Iran. Now, Victoria Coates, we can't bring you anybody in my estimation better in the country, world, for that matter.
is going to be on with us. Henry, working behind the scenes with her guy every Friday, at least for the foreseeable future at 2 o'clock from the Heritage Foundation. What a day to have her. Two pilots, it's believed, ejected with a strike. Now, the media, instead of focusing as they would, I'm looking at an ABC reporter saying, oh, this is really going to hurt the Trump administration when it comes to the war. Is that the lead or is it that America realizing we still may have one pilot out there, a decorated pilot who can we get to him first before the Iranians? But we do have a good report and these things are very fluid of one of them being rescued, special rescued. Shouldn't that be more of the story? Now, you cannot ignore this. We got to talk about it. It's still indicative. The one military report I've seen on this indicated that this is a plane used for mullible missions might not be the speediest we've had. So I'm not sure now if they're going to consider not using certain planes. That's up in the air. But it does indicate that the Iranian anti-aircraft fire brought this down. It does indicate they still do have some capabilities. And we've been saying this since the speech that it has been unbelievable, the military effort here, but it gives you an idea of how armed up they are and that they're still fighting this war. So, no matter how much we bomb in the foreseeable short future, Unless we're going to get into areas here, and I don't see that yet today where we're going to be striking some of the things where you get into all the war crimes talk and punishing the people who it doesn't appear still have the wherewithal to rise up and take over the government. So our eye is on this, and I think we'll go to the White House that President Trump speaks on this or they put somebody on talking about this. This does underline that we're not getting out of this anytime easily. I didn't say soon. I said easily. You have the straight. You still have their ability to take down planes now. So I get the media reporting that, but it seems to me the media just looks at this, the politics of this. Oh, man, what's Trump going to do now around this? Are we further boxed in in dealing with this? And again, I'm completely on board more than ever by what we've learned during this, that this was exactly the right move at the right time to do this. But it underlines, you're not dealing with the usual bum of the month club here. You're dealing with people that are fanatical and well-armed, all the money they've been able to accrue, and they're still going to put it into play. I don't know any Trump card we have here that's going to bring them to their knees. So this is a situation, and still with one pilot apparently out there, it indicates, again, the greatness in the military, they were able to talk about difficult situation, apparently, to rescue one. All right, so phone lines are 855, 839, 12th, 10. We have, I think, really good side question today. Never have asked it for the side with our military people.
flying to distant places around the moon, maybe further than we've gone before farther. We can put a man on a moon, as I believe we did. Stop the conspiracy talk. Or a woman, if you want, as long as we have a good plumber. But why can't we do what? I see some on Twitter already and some that I've lined up that are great, that make the point beautifully. Henry, how about yours? Yeah, I'll take two off the board here. So we can put a man on the moon here, but we still can't figure out what the heck is at the bottom of the ocean. Is it that much harder? I mean, we're right here. It's on the planet. Like, we're here already. And we can go up. We can go to visit different planets. That's a good one. Celestial, you know, beings up there. So you can't figure out what to the bottom? Far enough? Yeah, it's something with the pressure and, you know, humans not be able to go down there, but like drones can. Okay. You know, things like that. And I understand. But, like, you know, we have all these, you know, aerospace engineers figuring that out, but we can't figure out the water. Yeah. Yeah, you would think space might be more hostile to human life than water. Yeah. But maybe not. But that's a connector. You never know. You don't know what's down there. Yeah. All the one I'm a take off little... you know, topical to this show, to this station. I think a lot of people have talked to me or Kirk over the years. I've had their fair share of issue with this. But we can put a man on the moon, but we can't get working phones in the studio? Amen. Oh, my God. I mean, how many times has Kirk had to put someone on hold, pick up again? Hey, can you hear me? Put you on hold and pick up. Hey, can you hear me? Oh, hey, Joe, what's going on? Hey, you know, it's an everyday occurrence and it drives both of us. and it as well as probably every other producer at the station. Well, that means we should blast the engineers off to the moon. No, we're great engineers, so I don't know what they are. I don't know if I'm going to blame the engineers on this one. I really really know. I might be above their pig. Exactly right. All right. Kirk, how about yours? Okay. So we can put a man on the moon, but we can't pump gas in New Jersey. There you go. Now that's it. It's a sign the apocalypse when we're allowed. So realize we'll all be apocalyptic if that happens. Yeah, I agree with you. That will never change. That's one of the immutable laws. They're already saying, wait a minute. They said it's changing one. They'll take to the streets. They'll riot. They'll take taxes beyond belief, but you're not going to pump your own gas. Exactly. Yeah, I can't stand it. I mean, and I was telling Henry earlier off air, I said, you know, like I asked for like 20 bucks and they say Phil. How do you get Phil from $20? Yeah, exactly. Oh, my. Don't even start on that. All right, 855, 8, 9, 12, 10. That's today's side question. Again, we will be on top of this if the president speaks. In addition to that, the issue here of the pilots, and at least one, there's reports. And we have the ability to say that he has been rescued.
We will see. And it is, it is a moment here that shows they still have this power. You can't just finesse this and say so what. And again, the other night, I would have liked President Trump. I get it. Some people not paying attention. He had to say we took out their Navy. We took out their Air Force. I just wanted to hear more about what we're up against here, the religious craziness of this group, what they believe and why they're willing to go to these levels. And that gets to the nuclear weapon. You know, and all these other reasons to take them out, all the jig. But the biggest one is these maniacs cannot have a nuclear weapon, no matter what we have to do, if we have to bomb the entire country, and do it periodically. But this is a moment that was unexpected given there was no indication we had air superior dominance, that there was nothing going to happen there. And look, you know, you fire enough anti-aircraft. We have enough planes up there. You can get lucky and you can hit one. And unfortunately, that's what's happened here. And that's why this is so significant. And the enemies of America in the media. and some of the other party, they're not even pausing to at least pretend to be concerned about the military that are involved here, both those that were knocked out of the sky and also those that are in a rescue mission at risk. Nope. What are they concerned about? How does this put Trump in a bigger box? And Victoria Coates, 2 o'clock, what a day to have her. Caitlin Susan Collins claiming last night, CNN knows that half of their missile launchers are still operational. This doesn't appear to be that. This appears to be anti-aircraft fire of a sort. Am I believing them, CNN? Half of their missile launchers are still operational. No, not seeing that at all. Again, They may have some indicator of some of them and they're, you know, quantifying it in order to make it more difficult on Trump. All right. 855-839-1210. That this is, it was shot down by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Air Defense Systems. of, you know, and they're riding this Fox reporting, of course, in state-run TV as a matter of propaganda. Okay, that's their propaganda. Why is there propaganda here in the American media, though, ABC and the others? I mean, look, Trump should call it a war for once and for all. It is a war. These are not wartime patriots, many in the media here. They're blatant about it. I'm looking at one reporter talk about, well, what will this mean for President Trump? This is a real setback here as opposed to thoughts of the rescue at this point. If you're on the other side and say, no, no, no, they're right. This is bringing a war home and they're right to say, what's Trump going to do? I think that's secondary.
to what's happening right now. And I've been saying all along, it's that they're asymmetric. You're not just going to bomb them into submission. What else can be done here? All right, I see some great ones here. Man, a lot of medical maladies here. We can put a man on the moon, but why can't we what? one of mine would be an easier system of a colonoscopy. I know they have other things, but they're not reliable. You know, yep, they're not reliable. Not at all. That just made me think of another one. Oh, no. Go ahead. All right, all right. There's a little inside fact about me. I can't burp. Oh, all right. Wow. Slow down that international coverage. We got something here, folks. So we can put on a man on the moon, but we can't, you know, figure out why I'm not burping. I think I know the reason why, but every time I bring it to a doctor, they just go, what? What are you talking about? You know what? We're starting to sketch out Mulligans. This is fodder, Kirk. I don't know how it plays into Mulligans. I do know it's going to be a public. burping thing here. Well, it's just going to be, you don't want to hear what it sounds like when I try to burp. Oh, you're okay. Sure I do. I don't. Yeah, okay. All right. All right. We got nuggets here. And we have the Friday 5 at 1245. So getting in now 855, 839, 1210. Don't you? Every week on the Moth podcast, you'll hear true stories that will intrigue you, inspire you, and make you laugh. He said, is there anything in your diet that might be spiking your blood sugar? I said, sometimes I eat pizza until I'm unconscious. He said, I think that might be it. For real stories live on stage from comedians, astronauts, accountants, farmers, and people just like you, follow and listen to the Moth wherever you get your podcasts.
On Talk Radio 1210, WPHT. All right, it is Dom time monitoring the latest on the down F-15 in Iran. And at least according to reports, I think, that are credible, one rescued. We will... continue to see what happens here, but right out of the box. No sense of proportion or anything. The media, well, you know, this really undercuts the Trump administration on this. And again, if I'm in the Trump administration, as bad as the media is, I'm not just going to keep on talking about the Navy, the Air Force we knocked out, and all these others. You have to be playing and say, yeah, they still have some abilities here. We didn't say we're going to completely do that, but we believe we've taken out their nuclear possibility here. Well, what are we going to do the next two or three weeks? Well, we're working on the missile launchers, apparently, among other things. So this is a very fluid situation. All right, let me go to Joe in Columbus. And Joe, you're on talk radio 1210. Hey, Joe, welcome in. Hey, Dom. Hey, tip of a hat to you. I referenced you in the opening, I think, today about Memorial Day when you set that metric. And I think I was a poo-poor. I'm not so sure now if this couldn't continue into May. Well, Tom, and that's not, I don't want to be mistaken for my prediction. That's just a tolerance level. Yeah. I'd be happy. You know, then we get into the summer, we get into the election, you know, the campaign season. I'm hoping for that as, you know, no further of a finish line. That's all I meant by it. And, Doc, let me put you on a whole little bit. We got a little, I don't know if it's his phone or not. You guys not hearing that? I'm. No, we heard it. I don't know. It's too about it. Yeah. All right. Somebody's jumping on his phone. All right. Let me go back to Joe. Let's see what happens here. All right, Joe, go right ahead. Is that any better? No, Joe, we've got a little problem. I'll put you on hold. We'll come back to you. Let's see if it clears up here. Okay. Kevin in Bucks. Kevin, you're on Talk Radio 12-10. Hey, Kevin, afternoon. Hello, happy holiday. Thank you, Kevin. You're welcome. So we could put a man on the moon. We could clone Dolly the Sheep 30 plus years ago, but we can't find a way to clone O Negative, the universal donor of blood so we don't have to have blood drives anymore. Ah, you know what? I don't know in that field. I haven't looked it up what the issue is. That is a really good. You know, a lot of these are going to be medical, I think. And some of them, maybe we just didn't put enough resources into it. Yeah, Henry, I sent you a tweet. If you could send me that link to that yes song yesterday. Because I'm a huge yes song fan. And also, you're the ocean. Are you kidding me? You're going to get crushed. That's why anything gets crushed. Yeah, so let's figure it out. Let's figure out a way to not get crushed. And then let's go down there. Not even jellyfish. We can't build anything that will not withstand. It can be like anything that's metal, regardless of the size. We'll get crushed by the sheer weight.
of the depths of the ocean. That's all. All right. Well, you know, we got a guy who's lacking in credibility. Can't burp here, Kevin. So that's becoming an issue. All right. Thanks, Kevin. You have a great one. All right. Should I go back to Joe now? Okay. Let's go back to Joe. He's good. All right, sort of better. Go ahead, Joe. Henry really, he really upset me today. I thought we were going to someday get to hear a burp money melody. Joe, I pray that day happens, but like as of right now, and it's my entire life, no, it's not happening. Well, he told me the story of the doctor here until I can't review it and all in the studies and what they were looking at. Joe, this screams a Mulligan's promotion somehow or another here. Best burp her that day. We give you a plate of spaghetti or something, and you have to burp, something like that. Oh, boy. Yeah. People chugging beer and reciting the cramble to the Constitution. You know what? That's even better. Johnny likes that. That's good for a business. Exactly right. Really. And I want to do a couple things for my side answer. Yeah. I want to wish everyone, you guys included a... Happy Easter and a great Passover. Thank you. And a Felice anno novo to everyone. Well, you really work that up. That is spotless. It seems a bit Tuscan-y, the accent there. I'll have to check with my experts. All right. And I also like to wish one of everyone's favorites, a very happy birthday today. Suze loves Jeffie. Ah, okay. All right. Yep. My side answer is we put a man on the moon, but we can't come to a decision with that flavorful, fabulous tomato reduction topping is for pasta. Yeah, that's right. Well, you and I have come to that conclusion, gravy, and someday, Joe, this country is going to realize it. Yeah. Yeah, right. Absolutely. It's still going to be the own answer. Hey, I like that line yesterday about Springfield as Springsteen, custodian of our emotions. Well, Dom, he lasted the test of time. I mean, what makes people think he's going to fail, you know? Yeah. As long as he gets you excited, he's going to be hanging around. Well, that's why it was the first for talk radio, rather than just ceaseless bashing, realizing he's difficult, you know, and you want to try to defeat him if you can, but realizing what you're up against is the reason why it's too big to fail. Yeah, yeah. And, you know, I brought my oldest son to a Springsteen concert once. And on the way home...
Because when he was five years old, I went to a Springsteen concert. And he cried from the moment I left until the moment he went to bed. I wanted to see Springsteen. So when he got older, you know, 19, 20 years old, I brought him to a Springsteen concert. On the way home, he goes, Dad, my arms are killing me. And it was because he was, the concert, the atmosphere, the emotion charged him up so much. He felt like he went through a workout without even knowing it. Unbelievable. Yeah. He's a manipulator. He's a manipulator. And today, for all the wrong reasons. Thank you. Thanks, Joe. Great call. All right. So the president briefed on the down F-15. We're waiting more words about what the search and rescue crews are going through right now. You talk about dangerous work. And I'm not sure of their technology. If they can pinpoint, I'm sure they can do a pretty good idea of where the plane went down. uh the we you know that's where our prayers should be ABC that's where our outlook should be at this point plenty of time to discuss oh man this puts trump in a bigger box now we got that that they still have capabilities and this um does this underline to the capabilities they still have And my only dread, and I'm going to the master of speaking out against this, Lance in South Philly, my only dread is this doesn't start behind the scenes while escalation of some sort with the Strait of Hormuz, how difficult that is. If they can shoot down a plane, it would indicate they got the Strait of Hormuz, they can hit a ship. And we know you can't have a ship go down. That could be a billion dollars right there. So what do we do? Lance in South Philly, talk radio 12. Hey, Lance. How are you going, Dom? And like I told, Kirk, Henry can't burp. And neither can rats. And listen, I kill a lot of rats with bacon soda and corn and corn, cornmeal mix. What? Yeah. I didn't know that. Yeah. Yeah. Fax, he's not wrong. He's the expert. And sometimes to speed up the process, I put a little beer down or apple juice. Oh, my God. Even better. You know, we got all tips of rats. If you're killing rats over Easter, write that down right now. So should I be taking that as a way to try and burp? Or is that going to kill me? Well, don't let your wife know that. He's not married yet, but we're working on it. You know, a guy that can't burp, do you take this guy? I don't know, Your Honor. He can't burp.
And so, Dom, here we go again. Now we got a pilot shot down. Yep. And, you know, and they still have capabilities to fire off, you know, 2,000-pound warheads with, you know, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, Yeah, and what this indicates, again, we know about asymmetric warfare, but this in Ukraine are the drone thing, and these guys know drones, and they have the drones, and that's a real difficulty. And as far as the straight-on-h moves goes, you know, you could take a shit with an arm and piercing around. Right. You know, that's billions of dollars gone. It's a catastrophe, is that the ocean is polluted with oil. It could back up ships. Now they're forced to go around the Horn of Africa. Gas is already 415 down here in South Philly. Yeah, I'm going to get the Cheston Hill report. I was told the guy standing outside with a five looking up and down on Germantown Avenue. You might put that five up there. Oh, my goodness. I'm not even going to go up here. Lance, what's your side? We could put a man on the moon, but we can't cancel an AOL subscription. That is a great one. That is a great one. All right. Coming up, more of your calls, Victoria Coates at 2 o'clock. What a day to have her. And the Friday 5, Henry and I got together. I think I got one that is indisputable as my best one. Your five all-time worst holiday foods include candies and foods. And don't forget the summertime. There are bad things offered to you in the summertime. All right. But with Easter on the horizon, we came up with these. I don't know if our lists will match up on any of them on this since the field is pretty big. We'll give you those next and your calls and our eyes still. on what's happening here with the F-15E Strike Eagle taken down. 855, 839, 12-10. Tom Chiodano on Talk Radio 1210, WPHT. Okay, it is Dom time. Welcome in the Friday 5. Five random things. And Henry and I tell you what we think about. I can't find my list. I think I memorize it, so that's okay. But Henry, how about if you give me your fifth place position here? Yeah, fifth place. You can see them a lot this weekend. Got to start with our marshmallow chick friends, the peeps. I don't know what it is about the peeps that makes them so awful. Like marshmallows are usually really good. Like I always enjoy like a marshmallow, like a smore, nothing better than that. But like when you have a peep, you're just like, ugh, what's wrong with this thing? And you think it would be covered in sugar too that would make it better. No, I think it makes it worse. You don't give it enough discredit. I have it in third position. So we're on the same page. Peep's third position for me. All right.
My fifth is the candy cane. What the heck is up with the candy? As a decoration, fine. But as something, do people hanker for candy canes all year? No. No. You maybe have one and then it's like, oh, that's too much. It's too much mint here. What are we doing? What's yours? So number four for me, it's going to be a Halloween staple candy corn. Uh, you know, maybe candy corn's better when there's a little chocolate tip on it, but otherwise it just feels like you're eating wax. I, it's like almost tasteless. It just tastes like almost like sugar mixed with like, yeah, wax essentially. And I don't know why that's become the decorative element of. you know, Halloween, they even make them in like pumpkin shapes now. And that's way too much of a bite of candy corn too. Like, I, yeah, so I don't understand some of these old tiny candies that we, you know, tried out year and year out. Like, we can't improve on that just a little bit. We got a man on the moon. I have candy corn as the number one most horrific. Oh, don't let it, don't let it fly now. Okay, there you go. Number one. So we have two that we're on. So I'll give you my fourth position. Just it's the mystery of this, the mints and the menses and the mints pie and all that stuff. Just a horror. I don't mean you know what it is. I don't think I've ever had it, to be honest with that. I think I had it once and I avoided it. Okay. I have in my third position, Peeps, what was your third? My number three is, you might not like this answer, but it's got to be the fruit cake. I mean, what's the point of having, like, some disgusting fruit mixed in with some boozy dough? It tastes awful. And it's not even doing its job. It's not even getting me hammered. So, like, what's the point of it? You can't burp out of it? Sit in the closet for 60 years and then eat it? Like, no, I don't want that. Mine was only 50 years. Literally on the air, and I'm still here. And I burped afterward. There you go. All right. So that's, that is a go. I thought you'd go with that. My second place. Are all these creamy sorts of things with spinach and corn at the holidays, particularly Thanksgiving? All that stuff is just horrible stuff. Who doesn't like a cream spinach or cream? Oh, God, the cream is just brutal. He's not wrong. Come on. Yeah. Thank you, Kirk. I'm a Dom's camp. All right. What's your second? So number two, yeah, this might be a little out of the box, forgotten about holiday a little bit. But how about the candy hearts you get? Valentine's Day. If I wanted to eat pieces of chalk, I would just go to the local elementary school and just take one off the board, need a stick. Like, what are we doing here? I don't need to eat that stuff. I don't care if it says, like, you know, I love you on it. It still tastes like crap. If you love me, you wouldn't get me this stuff. That is pretty much, I got to concede that one. So number one was my candy corn. What's your number one all-time worst? Yeah, yeah, this might cause some. Okay. Some anger in the crowd. But yeah, my number one food that I can't stand is the sweet potato casserole at Thanksgiving. I'm with you on that, my friend. With the marshmallows on top mixed in with, you know, the brown sugar and everything. A, I don't like sweet potatoes. And the fact that you make it even sweeter by mixing in brown sugar, putting marshmallows on top. And it's just, it's a disaster.
on your palate. I mean, it's all the same consistency. It's all mush. There's no bite to it in any part of it. I'm just, you know, might as well be just drink glucose at that point. What is the point of that dish? I'll have everything on my plate of Thanksgiving except that. I'll have the cream corn, cream spinach. I'll have the cream of onion pearls for crying out of life. I won't have that. All right, I am a fan of the sweet potato, but not. The casserole. Yeah, and the sweet potato pie, take a hike, too. All right. Okay. Kirk, you're all time. Do you have one worse? How are they? We didn't get too many summer holidays than years or something. One thing I don't like, and I'm probably going to get ripped for this too, is cranberry sauce in Thanksgiving. I can't. Wait, wait, wait, wait, which cranberry sauce? The cranberry sauce in general. Be it in the can or in it loose. Okay, the, I don't like. The, like, actual cranberry sauce with the cranberries in it. That's not too much. I like the can, you know, where it takes the shape of the can. That's, that stuff's great. That I'll have with my turkey. How much sugar is in there? A lot. Who cares? Oh, yeah. How much sugar's in the sweet potato catch a whole tonne? That's true. All right. It's 855, 839, 12, 10. They can put a man on the moon, but they can't what. We have pretty good confirmation now that one of the pilots has been rescued. The other, we're waiting to see what happens with it. President hasn't spoken. We'll bring you that. I think he will sometime during the show today. It is a big moment, and the media... Now, Fox is concentrating on the rescue and trying to give their viewers a sense of how difficult this is, what they're up against, ABC and others. I have it right here. All they're concerned about is, oh, man, what do we do now in Iran? And it's true that this is a moment, but is that what this is about? Or is that a tell on exactly what they're thinking? The propaganda is not just on state TV and Iran. It's right here in America. All right. Victoria Coates will be coming up in just about an hour. And again, we're going to have her on every week, which is a rare threat. You've heard her. Nobody better from the heritage fan. She's the go-to for Fox and everybody else. Phone lines. 855-839-1210. What other medical maladies? Where's Greg Stocker today? I thought the producers test, take a note to him. Send it to his communique, Kirk. Put in a little subsection. Producers must be able to burp. Far me now. Far me now. That's that new guy who's walking around with Dan out here if he can burp. If he can't, that's going to be a problem. I don't know about Dan had so many mouths. That's all. Oh, yeah. He's a walking longer. Oh, yeah. Donate his body to science. Yeah, the doctors, we had to have Freud here for psychiatry. 855-839, 12-10. Tomjiudan, weekdays, noon till 3. From Talk Radio 1210, WPHD.
On Talk Radio 1210, WPHT. It is downtime. Sources indicating Fox News reporting one pilot rescued, intense search for second crew member after the F-15 jet was down in Iran. And, you know, my sense is, even though they're not saying it, if they don't eject at the same time, I guess it could be miles apart. That has to be an unbelievable thing to be ejected out of a plane. They've been talking about it all morning. You know, despite the advancements they made on that, my God. All right, 855-839, 12, 10. Thank God they were not down. They were able to get out. Now, it's getting the other one home should be the focus. You flip around. It's not. It's all playing into, oh, man, Trump has gotten himself into it now. That's what it's about. Okay, a couple of things. I was in contact with Phillies today. Every year I read essays. They get thousands of people touting a teacher for the big thing the Phillies do, which is great. It's May 8th this year if you've gone to Phillies in which they bring teachers onto the field. Ten of them make it. And they put their names on the sport board and all make a big deal out of it. It's a beautiful thing. And when you read these essays. Some of the work that teachers are doing is unbelievable. That's not where the beef is with people like this. I mean, they're heroic in some of these instances. It's with the teachers' union activist. That's where the beef is with all this stuff and trying to get something done and trying to get school choice. That's what it is. And there are thousands and thousands of these activists across the country that run these things. And the teachers that are doing what we think teachers would ordinarily do are lost in that kind of backlash. Yesterday, too, one carryover, got so many responses off there about too big to fail. Roe had a good one. Didn't text Henry. I said, that's the pipeline. You don't want to call in. You got to text him. Barbie. I think Barbie is too big to fail. Remember when Barbie was on the ropes? They were coming after Barbie because Barbie. Was the enemy unrealistic body proportions? Yeah, I think so. And then they came up with, all right, we'll make Barbie a career woman, astronaut Barbie. How many iterations of it? President Barb. Yeah, President Barb. And Barbie is back. Elvis Barbie, yeah, is back bigger than ever. And the film is still being played on HBO and movie channels, et cetera. It was one of the all-time hits. Great movie. Yeah, so I am not seen it. I still object. The Gosling guy can't take. It's just too much. He's gone downhill. But. Barbie is too big to fail. So keep them coming. You can still put them up on Twitter. Today, though, we're talking about if they put a man on the moon as we're seeing it play out again, and we're now landing, but we're going even farther. How come they can't do what? What is it? And we just heard a lecture on water and what would happen that Henry's still disputing here. The guy that called in, you know, that would be crushed. What are you talking about?
So the people that know why we can't do it or think they know, they come up with some kind of reason around this. 855, 839, 12, 10, you get in. You can get in right now. So intense search for a second crew member. It is not anywhere near Tehran. It's in the more region, Cookistan province. that the plane was downed. But this is, in fairness, a bit of a surprise given we thought we had taken out anything they had that would be able to do this. And it appears to be just common anti-aircraft gunfire more than anything else. The big danger. I don't think you want to hear it. I don't certainly don't want to hear it. You heard Lance. We don't want to hear escalation now in the sense of boots on the ground or something of that nature. And I think Trump's instincts on that are don't make that move. He hasn't spoken yet. Maybe waiting until we find the other pilot. That's where the search is. This is such a telling moment. How many in the media. I'm not saying they're rooting that the pilots be dead or anything, but I think they're rooting to say, aha, see that? How in the world could you be rooting for a regime that murders its own people that threatens the world that has these capabilities? So what would you, let's us backtrack. What would you have us do? And I know it's Easter. I know it's Good Friday. My God. Hellfire awaits. This might be the nice circle of hell. Whatever, I forget what Dante said the last circle was. But I got to challenge the Pope on this. What would he have us do? And what the Pope and the Dalai Lama and ABC News and all? Well, you should continue to talk with them. They have talked for 47 years. They have done it again and again and again. And we elected a president to take measures like this. Now, do we know that they were within weeks or something of reconstituting and being close to a nuclear weapon? All I know is, if I'm in that chair or I'm advising a president, I'm telling him, you've got to take any measure possible. If you think that this is doable in any realistic way, shape, or form, and you know I'm going to err on the side of, nope. We're sending you another message, and we have to come back every week and do it again for the rest of time. We're going to do it. You are not getting a nuclear weapon. Here's my fear out of this, though, how this rallies the Iranians. We don't want this to go on forever. If we come out of it at this point, though, do they feel more likely? Yep, we're going to continue and we're going to get that nuclear weapon. Or do they feel less likely? Or... Are they really not calculating in that manner? They are religious fanatics. Stone cold religious fanatics. And the media won't call them out because of sensibilities here. That's exactly what they are. And anybody that in any way, shape, or form gives aid and comfort to this, you are horrific. It's not just you're a traitor to the United States. You're a traitor to humanity. They are a scourge. I would argue, I can't think of anything worse.
than religious fanaticism of this magnitude. We saw it in World War II. The German people tried to assassinate Hitler multiple times. By the end, it was clear Hitler didn't go out in public so much. But what about the empire, emperor? What about the Japanese? Oh, no, right to the end, two atomic bombs. Religious fanaticism. That's what you're up against. The media is afraid to call it out. Afraid to call out evil. Afraid to single them out. Afraid to say because then it makes Trump look to be the one that acted with prudence versus the Obama's of the world who gave them a power to $1.7 billion. Let them do whatever they wanted to. We got to the point where we are today. And Joe Biden, forget about it. They were laughing. I'm surprised they didn't have a nuclear weapon by this point. So you watch coming off the human drama of this, the big picture is how does this play out now going forward in this war? And this is not an easy situation that we're in right now. I don't see any easy way out to actually accomplish what we want it to and get out of there in a week or two or whatever, particularly after this. And my hope is, because I've seen some reports, that this was a plane used for mullible missions, may not have been the speediest plane out there. And that may be one of the reasons they were able to shoot it down. My point being, they probably can't hit so readily, some of our other planes. All right, 855-839-1210. Joe of X-In is next in on Talk Radio 1210. Hey, Joe. Yes, hello, Don. And first, I want to begin by wishing you and your family a happy Easter celebration. Joe, the same to you and your family, too. Thank you, Joe. Thank you. From a side answer, the U.S. government continues refusing to provide a complete explanation to the UFO phenomenon. It always, the government always skirts questions put to it by the journalists. So, Joe, do you really believe aliens have been checking us out? Yes. I hear they love the Dom Gerdano show. Just a rumor that's out there. Thank you, Joe. Have a great Easter. I can hear they hear Zinos. What is it? These Greeks are they around now? What are the Greeks doing? Right. Greeks and Benedictians are the aliens? That's right. By the way, on something that we do know, and here we go again, and I'm not going to go with something wild, but now there's deep concern of these drones. that are over our military bases, military bases where Pete Hegseth houses, and I think Marco Rubio, all these Trump officials have had to go to military bases because of the crazies out there. And you still wonder about the drones over Jersey. What was ever the conclusion to that? What is it that that was?
I still don't think we know. And if you remember when Jeff Van Drew came on the show and was talking about the mothership out there in the ocean from Iran and Jersey, we never got answers to that. Now, they seem to have gone away. But now they're wondering, well, what to do with these drones that are over military bases? What we ought to do is shoot them down instantly. Retrieve from that, whatever data we can to get the best guests, and then go after the people flying drones over the military bases. So this asymmetric warfare, these guys are very good at this. They're the drone capital, and they still have some degree of weaponry. And that's why we're on pins and needles waiting to see the second pilot and what happens here. I think that's why the president hasn't spoken yet. All right, I'm coming to you. We'll get to your calls at 855, 839, 12.10. We have Dom's, progressive women gone wild. This one has millions of followers on TikTok and is an OBGYN, apparently manager or bigwig, and yet feels that she can go on Twitter and go after ICE in a way you will not imagine. Okay? It is endless. Also, I think we have some of Gavin Newsom's wife. Trust me, this entitled nutbag woman, Blondie. When she's out there, she's not doing him any favors. She may think so. Oh, what a partner. She looks great and all this stuff. Trust me, this spouse is what I would call her. When she's out there, Gavin Newsom's not looking so good. I don't know the demographic she would appeal to. 855, 839, 1210. Tom Cheardano on Talk Radio 1210, WPHT. It is Dom time. Welcome in, 855, 839, 12, 10. That's how you get on board. This is cut 11. We didn't put it in Dom's progressive women going, wow. We have another one today. But listen to this entitled Nutbag. This is Jennifer. Jennifer Gavin Newsom, the first wife, the first spouse, who feels she'll have a major part in the campaign. America's going to love it. Listen to her take on parenting. I've given our boys dolls, even if they tear that off. I've given them dolls to learn that care and caregiving is not just an activity that's reserved for women, but that it's also an activity that is a responsibility of men. What I've done with both my daughters and my sons is if I'm reading a book and the protagonist is a male, I just change the he to a she. And it just normalizes for my sons in particular. It's not even, I don't even just do it for my girls. I do it for my sons because I want them to see that women can be the center of a story, that women matter, that women are interesting. At the end of the day, we're all kind of like in this place in, history maybe where we're recognizing what it is to ultimately deconstruct all these gender roles and ultimately be human. And that's exciting to me. So, you know, I'll just continue to kind of do my work and try and deconstruct all of these like limiting narratives about ultimately what it means to be human. All righty. A simple question, First Lady of California.
Should males be playing your girls as they grow up in sports? Well, let's give them dolls and then we'll figure this out. The more this woman is out there, the more that she talks, she was in a manner born, the whole deal. And it's not so much what she's saying is in your face necessarily, but it's jumbled up. She's in a bubble. She's not used to being pushed back on anything that she does in California. And when they get out on the campaign trail, it'll be fun. Maybe not in a Democrat primary, but after that. I just don't understand the book thing. Like, get another book. Well, I was getting to that. There's plenty out there. Get a book with women protagonists. How many do you need? Yes, honey, there's Joan of Arc. Yeah, some like that. There has to be a lot out there. Oh, there's a tremendous amount. No, she just likes the word like and the word deconstruct. She's deconstructing everything. Oh, my goodness. It's going to be a heck of a Democrat primary. Yesterday, polling indicating the guy on the rise again is Mayor Pete. Oh, boy. Nominate Mayor Pete. Let's see what America does here. I think Republicans will say, you know, I think I'm going to run because if Mayor Pete's the other side, I got to run. Robert and Ben Sayle, I'm on Talk Radio 1210. Hey, Robert. Hey, Tom Henry. It's good to talk to you guys today. Same here. You know, I had, my miscreant brother had the ability to burp all the way to the letter T. in the alphabet. But surprisingly, the best burper in my family is my beautiful older daughter. And Dom, I don't know where it comes from, man, but this girl could belch up a storm and you look at her and you go, where did that come from? Well, wait a minute, Cory Booker for Mulligans, June 19, Domday here. We already got it. You know, I'm not giving up on this. There's going to be some burpery going on. Well, I'm going to see if Joe and Gary from Newtown can help me get down there because I'd love to get down there to see you guys. Oh, yeah, definitely. And I was listening to people complaining about people being fired in the Trump administration and its disarray. And I'm thinking to myself, this is what accountability looks like. These people serve at the pleasure of the president. He has a job that he has to get done. If somebody that he puts in a position isn't getting that job done, it's incumbent upon him to make a change like Trump is what to do. That's called accountability. You'll notice nobody was fired under Biden, despite the fact that we had nothing but destructive policies implanted on us. And nobody was punished with Afghanistan withdrawal. They don't fire anybody. Democrats fail upward. Well, and they couldn't go after anybody in the military. We both know why, because the military that were demoted or fired, they would have laid it out of what they were told to do. Well, they said they told him to do this, and he just denied it, and it was dropped. Nobody fired, you know? Right, exactly.
But my answer to the side question, Dom, is we've sent a man to the moon, but we haven't cured the common cold. And as far as I'm concerned, we should have cured a common cold before we came out with the Etchusketch. You know what I mean? Thank you. You guys have a great day. Thanks very much. We've got burping, common colds. We're going down, and the guy's telling Henry, are you nuts? So this is a fierce topic for people. When they marry, either they're against it or they're in favor of it saying, why hasn't been done yet? I see on Twitter several that have a point to. It's the pothole thing. Why do we allow so many potholes? In other words, the Nordic countries from what I read, various countries where it's very snowy, they use different materials. I think we are using materials that are going to lead to potholes. Now, why don't we fill them in instantly you would be a hero? because we don't have workforces that work for state and federal government or city, whoever's in charge, that you can be out there forcing them to do their job effectively. If you fill in the potholes, remember the mayor of, and then governor of Maryland, he was a mayor of Baltimore, he allowed you to put a message in your pothole, like a note to your sweetheart or something. It would charge it. And we get filled up. It was a huge hit. People want to see the potholes fill in. It tells them government is at least doing something. It's such a tangible side. I like the protest that I see people do sometimes where it's like a pretty deep pot hole. They'll plant like a tree or something. Oh, yeah, exactly. Yeah, yeah. Make them come down there and do something. Right. And it's areas like Port Richmond, Bridesburg and all. You get a sinkhole, a pot hole thing going on there. It could swallow up the car. Yeah. I mean, historically. So we got this project out here. I was telling Henry, I come from Channel 6. We taped today. I got here very quickly and then panic just to get from the train station, five and a half blocks roughly. It took like 20 minutes. And that's using, shall we say, extra curricular U-turns, etc. It might be in the guy. So Glenn, who's a great producer on the weekend, Frank was telling me, it took him 35 minutes when he got out here last week. Sheesh. From two or three blocks away because they just block off Market Street a little bit. And suddenly the whole world is in Chambers. Yeah. You can't turn there now. And they have everything down the lanes. ridiculous. All right. So, yeah, why can't the construction projects or the delays be a better timed out? Why in the world do we have that? You know, I want to know, we may be, I don't know if we're doing it this year, but we broadcast from Farley. And every year I have the guy on from the, and he's a great guy, the highway system. And we go into when the three lanes go into two at some point. Why does that happen? Why do you have to keep on doing it? Causing nightmares. Bottomack. And I forget what the rationale is. They just can't do it. Okay. All right. 855, 839, 12, 10, you get on board. The best information at this point, thank God, one pilot rescued. Intent search with our best for the second crew member.
Really got to hope he doesn't fall into the hands of the Iranians. And the big picture on this, the way the media is playing this today, is going to be merciless until the end of this war. Aha. So the Iranians were able to shoot down a plane. Now, you know, we were emphasizing our dominance, and it is dominant, that we're able to fly with impunity. But now we know maybe not quite that. They did get off in this remote region and take out a plane with just anti-aircraft fire, apparently. So do we escalate? I don't think so. I think with Easter coming up and all, maybe this dies down a little bit, particularly if we rescue the second crew member. That ought to be the story then. Okay, here is a little bit, though. of the, I'm not going to play that manosphere guy here. Here is a commentator on Fox. Talk to this cut seven. Talking about the fact that the mainstream media is telling the American people, we are essentially losing the Iran war in the sense of long term. We're losing it. Here's that commentary. It's now senior national security and legal analyst for the Daily Signal, Mayhek, Cook, along with Fox News contributor, Powerist founder, Brett Velikovic. Brett, I want to go to you first. Thanks so much for joining us this evening. I think one of the main things is that the president does not want to let the world know what's next. He wants the element of surprise. He doesn't want our enemies to know play by. play but with the destruction of that bridge which is a central point of transport for a lot of Iranians and terror people the president is not taking his foot off the gas right Yeah, you're exactly right, Lawrence. That's because peace doesn't come from hoping your enemies just behave. It comes from making them understand they don't have another choice. Iran is running out of choices. That's what we're seeing right now as a result of our military strikes. In my opinion, the White House sent a very clear and a long overdue message last night to both our allies and adversaries that the era of endless negotiations with hostile regimes who chant death to America is over. When the president says the US is going to hit Iran extremely hard. in the coming weeks. That is the exact strategic clarity our enemy needs to hear. He's taking away the ambiguity Iran is used to exploit us for decades while they toyed with escalation and nuclear Armageddon. We tried talking. We tried diplomacy. We tried patience. All that did was get Americans killed in our interest attacks. And so that chapter is closed. Iran now faces a binary choice. Take a fair deal. Rejoin the international community with what's left of your leadership. or escalate and face the full weight of the military that hasn't even gotten started with what we're capable of. This is a final exit ramp for them. And the way I see it, Tehran is on borrowed time. They should choose peace fast because our military is systematically dismantling their war fighting capability day by day. No military on earth can do what the United States just did at this scale, the speed, this precision, not China, not Russia. We got it. Now.
That view to me is accurate but limited in that they don't need, you know, I think if I were the moderator there, if we're going to win and get out of this with the accomplishments, then you've got to be honest. All true. But what is it explicitly? Are we going to hit power plants and things of that nature, which are punishment of the Iranian people? Okay? Is that going to make them revolt even without weapons or is it going to make the Iranians reconsider? So the issue is these people are fanatics. Now, that's not to say everybody has a breaking point. What is theirs? I don't think that guy's accurate on it. And after they took down this American plane today, We're going to see a retrenchment on their part around this. And I'm in a camp still. We don't want to be driven into escalation because it is maddening. We've hit all these targets. We've done precision. He's exactly right. And we need it to do it. Both premises are there. The third premise, though, is how do we get out of this with the accomplishments and move on that they can't have a nuclear weapon? And I just don't know it's so fuzzy. That's why I'm going to ask Dr. Coates at probably first. I trust her, her knowledge, she's inside this at 2 o'clock. Is it your sense that we are infallible? Can I even use that word? Detecting if they're enriching the uranium and they're getting close to that. Or is that impossible to do? President claimed with satellites. All right. So if we have that, and I believe that, I'll admit straight up. Remember, you know this. I'm not believing it. I don't care who tells it to me. I'm not believing it. It would be like Richard Petty. Listen, Dom, I'll drive you. Sorry, Richard. I'd rather drive myself. I've driven speedways in 180. Well, I never had the chance. You know what I mean. Now, I wouldn't say that with a plane. I'd have to give away. Shove over here. Let me have the control. You know, but on something like this, I want someone who is mad in the best sense of that. I want Jack Bauer in real life that is living this every day and saying, you know me, if I thought there was any chance, I'm going to tell you, we got to hit them again. See what Victoria Coates says, because that's what this comes down to. Can we get out of this now? Straight of Hormuz is still an issue. How do we deal with that? Let's get the second pilot back and then we have some breathing room to think about it. All right. More of your calls are coming up though. I'm loving him today. He's really good. Put a man on the moon. Why can't we what? Think of all the things that have been unveiled today already. All right, it is Dom time. So Easter Sunday of all days, CBS Face the Nation is going to feature an interview with the military chaplain, if you will, for United States troops. He's an Archbishop. I've interviewed him when I did a national show, and I felt pretty good about the stuff that he said at that point. Now, this is years ago. Archbishop Timothy Broglio. He and the Face the Nation interview set to air on Easter Sunday. Some excerpts have been put out. And this guy says, and to me, you know, with all due respect, and it's hard for me even to muster that. For the lack of logic here, and somebody in such an important position with Catholic, well, first of all, let me get ahead of myself, and I'll tell you about the just war thing. His message is to U.S. military who are Catholics. Do as little harm as possible. That's his message to people in the military. Do as little harm as possible. Now, he didn't say with civilians or we might hit civilians, he's saying do as little harm as possible to the enemy. My position and probably your position, particularly after today, is take out as many as they can wake up and do it again and do it again until they get it. They are not going to do this anymore. Now we're going to try to get him on. He's come on before with me. When asked about the just war, what the heck has happened to the Catholic Church? The Archbishop says, I would think under the justify and under the just war theory, the war is not justified. It is not because there was a threat with nuclear arms. It's compensating for a threat before the threat is actually realized.
Just think about this wherever. Don't drive off the side of the road. I don't care it's good Friday, Easter Sunday. These guys use anything. So we have to wait until the threat is realized. And then, and you know he's not saying then we could do it either. We just have to pray that the Iranians are of goodwill and don't use a nuclear weapon. How in the world is this religion? We ask that with it too big to fail. How in the world is it happening? It's a weird thing. I am convinced they are seeing younger people in break. Guy Sharaki, guys, if you're listening, just jump in for a moment here. If you have a moment before the 2 o'clock, wrote a brilliant column about this on why they're going to the church. Yet, I think longtime Catholics are saying, I'm only doing this now, because I'm a Catholic, they're not going to take that away from me. But these guys are nuts. This is incredible to do this on Easter Sunday. So the first message to troops out there from the chaplain given to them to the military is do as little harm as possible vis-a-vis the enemy. And two, his explanation why this is not a just war. Well, you're thinking they're going to have a nuclear weapon. No, we're not thinking it is a point. If I get them on, I'll slow down. This is not thinking it. We know they know what to do. They're not missing anything. They have the plan now. And apparently, they just have to speed it up before we would stop them if they got close to it. They bragged Archbishop in the negotiations, even after we bomb them. that they have the material still to make 11 nuclear weapons. They just need to reconstitute it. Some of it's under the rubble. Just think of the insanity of this. And again, here, but also in Israel, imagine you're there. And this guy tells you, hey, you can't be attacking. You have to wait until they have the weapon. And he has a nerve to come on on Easter Sunday. This is just, this is apropos of where the Catholic Church is. And we warned about old Pope Leo with all the nonsense about Villanova and about he's an American. It won't be like it was. We saw the tells. He's not Francis, who was garbled at best and a Marxist. But this is what these guys are about that are in control, these bishops. They couldn't stand up to Biden on the issue of life, could they? No, they wouldn't. But they can stand up because it's Trump. And suddenly, you know, the question I would ask here, when is it a just war? Well, he seems to be saying, Dom, it's a just war after you're attacked or after the attack they're on the border and it's imminent. Well, Archbishop, it's too late then, isn't it? Isn't it? How many people would have to die for this nonsense? For this, I don't even know if it's progressivism as much as, to me, it's stupidity. Are they stupid or it's just progressive? Or is it a little bit of both? 855, 839, 12, 10. We'll bring you some of that on a month. We'll try to get it. Now, he came on. It was a national show. I don't know if it'll come on a local show.
And I would just let you hear him out. But at a certain point, I've had it. I've had it with these guys up and down the line. I've had it with them on illegal immigration. I've had it with them on trying to tell us, you know, this is the stuff you would expect from Quakers or something. The Catholic church, you grew up, you grew up with a catechism, those of you're Catholic, you've been through this. Just wore, this guy's completely bologizing that. and saying it's not a just war to prevent them from finishing this, they have to have it first in order to be a just war. Just think about that. Does this man have any sense that we're not dealing with just everyday weapons and threatening and all. We're dealing with nuclear apocalypse. This puts it into a completely, any learned man would have to concede, yeah, Dom, you're right. You don't have to wait until they have a nuclear weapon, given their intentions. You have every right to prevent the slaughter of innocence. Apparently, the Catholic Church, now I will say, he says, hey, if you're at a lower level, the message is as a Catholic, you have to follow orders. But there, you should still try to do as less harm as you can. And you're if an admiral in general when you're a Catholic, you really ought to refrain from doing harm. How do they get away with this? Why are they too big? This is like the Springsteen thing. How's the Catholic Church too big to fail with nonsense like this? If that's sacrilegious, so be it. They're the ones that are sacrilegious. They're the ones that are just playing deep down into their ideology. That cannot be the definition of a just war. That limiting in an age of nuclear weapons and religious fanatics. All right, let's go to David in Lexington. David, talk radio 1210. Hey, David. Hey, Dom, Henry's good to talk to you guys. Same here, David. A little Robert there. Hey, Don, before I get my side answer, you know, you talk about these teacher unions, and I don't have time to give you the whole story, but this is very near and dear to my heart. You know, they will protect just the absolute scumbag teachers out there. But then you look at someone like my wife who teach a special ed elementary. And again, it's a long story, but they took away her assistant teachers, so she has substitutes trying to handle 13 special ed kids. One got back out on the playground when they were coming back in. He was out there for one minute in a fenced-in playground. Because of that, Don, she's now not guaranteed a job next year. She's having to apply for other jobs in the other six districts because of that. But you'll see what all these other teachers do and nothing happens to them, all the indoctrination, everything else. But then you have a good one like my wife who is staring for her job. It makes no sense to me. No, it doesn't. And again, David, the Phillies are such a world-class organization. And when they do this teacher contest, It is hard to, it makes you feel good, some of the stories and what these teachers are doing. So it's not those people like your wife. It's the unions and the activists, et cetera. They're the enemy here. Yeah. Well, for my fight, I should say, Dom, and I'm going to make a big friend here with the birthday girl in chat, I know. But, you know, we could put a man on the moon, Dom.
But we cannot give a woman to give a yes, no answer. Years ago, I remember asking my wife, hey, did you check the mail? Because what I want to know is, do I need to go check the mail? Right. I get, no, because, you know, I was getting the girls out of the car and I had to come in and I had to feed the dog. I just needed yes or no. And I told her after the no, I'm not listening because I don't care what I. Very nice. Thanks, guys. Thank you very much. Sounds like you'd be married to Mrs. Gavin Newsom. Well, you know, the protagonist is a female kids. Why can't we just have a book with a woman on a cover then? No, then I wouldn't be able to go out and say gibberish. So come on now. I need something to talk about here. And the boys are pulling their heads off baby dolls. Let's have a fact, Chuck. So they're grown up right. Yeah, there you go. Right. Cabin Gavin Newsom's helping him. Chef Dave, I want to take them. We have progressive women going wild here on Talk Radio 1210. Hey, chef, go ready ahead. All right. First of all, about the Catholic guy who said whatever that thing about, you know, not killing people. During the Second World War, the Battle of Guadalcanal, Protestant priests came up at Lewis Polar and said, Why are all my Protestants converting to Catholics? And he said, because the Catholic priests will take the men and lead them to the front, show them how to get there. You know what I mean? Mm-hmm. Where you don't, right? Did I get hung up yet? No, no, no. Wait a minute, Dave. That used to be the people that were Spellman and all these named Bishop Sheen in the past. They were right there with the military and the just war. This guy says we got to wait till they have the nuclear weapon before we would do anything. Oh, yeah, because he's a moron. Because the Catholic religion has gone nuts, number one. Yeah, this is really, and Dave, I actually interviewed this guy now once, twice on the Jimbo Hannan show, and he was on the side of the military in the right way. I don't know what the heck happened to him. Because he probably talked to the Pope. Yeah, they're following orders. Yeah. Yeah. You know what's your side today? What do you have? Well, can the outlaw putting pineapple on the pizza? There you go. All right, we can put a man on a moon yet. We still allow them to put pineapples on pizza. I'm still working on the burping and Henry in the Ajakush, though, Henry today, and the Undersea. Man, that got some people going, funny the things they remember for the show. YouTube chat's going crazy. Any old suggestions that I've tried a million times. Oh, the burps? Yeah. Yeah, and I'd like to say, it's not just me. My extended family all is the same issue, too. Okay. Well, you know what? If we opened it up to that, I bet a guy who I glance has a cure for it. It might be like the rats. It's not going to work. Okay. All right. Jump in, progressive women gone wild. Then Victoria Coates here, breaking news here. Israel is pausing strikes while the search committee looks for the second pilot. That's the update here on Talk Radio 1210.
Have you ever felt like you are living just a B or B plus life? It's so dangerous to live that more dangerous than a B minus or a C plus life because when you're living a B or B plus life, you don't change it. You think it's good enough. Is it? I'm Susie Welch. I host a podcast called Becoming You. People think, okay, an A plus life is not available to me, but there is a way. We are all in the process of becoming ourselves. Listen to Becoming You wherever you get your podcasts. I'm Giardano on Talk Radio 1210, WPHT. But this year get any fucking what? Dom Gierdano presents. Progressive women Your words are garbage and you're a bad person at this point. Gone wild.
That's right, every day around this time, and we have to sort them out there's so many. This woman is Dr. Jennifer Lincoln, an OBGYN, educator, and social media influencer with nearly 3 million followers on TikTok. You're going to hear our approach to ICE agents, and after a brief exchange, call them racist pigs. saying no matter how she may be perceived, she would never be like them, and expressing hope. Oh, this is always a good one saying, and I bet your mothers are proud of you. Oh, man, the reaction is Price is like, come on. Is that the best you got? Here's how it sounded. So I'm here at JFK Report, and there's a ton of ICE agents who are allegedly here to help. We know they're not, so I'm just going to go ask them a question. Let's see what they say. Excuse me? I shall say thank you guys for being here because I know when I wake up in the morning, I'll never be racist pigs like you. No matter how bad I am, I'll never be like you. So good job. I hope your moms are real proud of you. They were cute, weren't they? I hope they continue to be best, like Melania be best, because they are being the best at being the worst. So to them. All right, there you go. I mean, and she's got three million flowers on TikTok for annex like this. Got them. Yeah. Yeah, you showed them ladies. You showed them. They just look quizzing like, hey, all right. She's single, fellas. Yeah. But again, this woman is incredibly public. She's not like that nurse in the Philadelphia suburbs. I don't know if we ever found her or not. I hope you die. I hope it's slow. Wake me. One of my favorites, memory, is the woman who said, wake me up if Trump dies, when he dies. Yeah, it's just Canadian. Yeah, I don't care. Go home, lady. Yeah, I don't care if it's 2 o'clock in the morning. Do that. All right, let's squeeze one more in. Then, Dr. Victoria Coates with a big day to talk with her. Frank in South Philly. Hello, Frank, happy Easter. What do you have today? Happy Easter to do all you guys and your family, Dom. And I like to wish the all veterans and all military personnel that serving today, happy Easter to them also. Absolutely. Okay. Dom, my thing, we can take somebody to the moon, but we can't cure cancer. My dad back in 1975 died from leukemia. And that's 51 years ago, Dom. And they still haven't cured cancer. And my personal opinion in that, Dom, I think the pharmaceutical companies and also the medical field that they really don't want to cure cancer. That's my personal opinion, Don, because there's too much money involved. Well, Frank, thank you, as always. Thanks for always being there, and we will see you soon. Hey, Dom, who's the guy that doesn't, it can't burp? Henry, Henry. Henry, yes. Henry, well, you passed by my house. I'll give you the remedy because I burp, even if I'd lift my pillow up when I'm sleeping. Oh, jeez.
All right. I'm there. Thank you, Frank. You got to see the operation. Roe and I went to Frank's house. First of all, he's got his own flagpoles. It's like a whole specter down there near the ballpark. It's not too far from the ballpark. And then he's got his laboratory down there where he makes a homemade wine, like hundreds of people over a two-day thing come through. Wow. So I'm sure he's got something for the chirping right there. Well, like, can I be clear? Like, I make like. Like the physical act of burping I do is just no air actually comes out. It's like you don't have the Tupperware thing. Yeah, I guess so, yeah. Save that. That's a promo right there. No Tupperware. That burp they put. We got to get the Tupperware guy on here for Henry. Yeah, I can imagine. So it's like you're actually doing it. Is it give you relief or no? No, give me no relief. I do it, like, after I eat something, I do it like, I don't know how many times without any relief. Oh, God, I have to be watching head at Mulligans. Okay. Dr. Victoria Coates, Henry signed her for a long-term deal every Friday at 2 o'clock from Heritage Foundation. What a day to have her. She's next. Talk Radio 12. Ted. Domjiudano, weekdays noon till 3. From Talk Radio 1210, WPHD. Tom Chirdano on Talk Radio 1210, WPHT. All right, momentarily, the very best, Dr. Victoria Coates. They ought to just have the Coates wing over there at Fox News Channel in Washington. Well, I guess she goes near. I'm not sure. when she's on from the Heritage Foundation. What a day to break this down with her to get to the bottom of what happens next in the war. You got Dom's Money Melody, and we will crown a winner and a $50 gift card to the winner of the week today on all the side questions. It is, oh, wait a minute, wrong sheet. It is a $50 gift card to the jug handle in. In Siniments in New Jersey, you always find award-winning wings, great food, and incredible specials. I know we're all headed to the jug handle in. All those people that bid on it with the host. I think it's on the 23rd of April. So that ought to be quite a night for the Travis Mannion Foundation. You know, do talk radio long enough, and you just get lucky. In a million years, I don't know if I ever would have met Pastor Bell, Bill Devlin, world traveler. One moment he's on a rooftop in Cuba, Dom, I have to whisper. I have a satellite phone, but they're all around me. Another he's in Gaza, he just texted me hearing this military chaplain, the Archbishop of Washington, Broglio. saying, you know, it's amazing, Dom, the Pope goes to Algeria next week. He'll be in the home of St. Augustine Bishop of Hippo, who for the Catholic Church, came up with the just war theory that you would kill the guilty and the evil in order to protect the innocent. Apparently, St. Augustine doesn't seem to resonate today with the Archbishop.
You'd have to wait until the innocent were about to be killed and then maybe get lucky to stop stone, cold, evil. I wonder if they even use that word anymore. Catholic Church. How many deep, no, no, no, we stay away. Come on now. They're adversaries. They're not evil. They're not the enemy. They have their point of view here. Reacting to, and I'll ask Dr. Coates in a moment, this interview. that's on Easter Sunday with the chief military chaplain of the United States, which used to be a position where you would be rooting the troops on, not saying, oh, I'll have to check with the computer to see if that was a ball or strike here. And you know what the answer is going to be. This is shocking this interview on Easter Sunday to go down. It undercuts. And he says when asked by Catholics in the military, He tells them to do as little harm. And we're not talking about civilians. That's one thing. If I get them on, you're saying to the enemy, you're saying to their ability to wage war, do as little harm as possible. Is that what you're saying, Archbishop? Is that your message to Catholics in the military? Really? All right, so we'll try our hardest because this, he's talked before, and I'm kind of surprised by this based on my conversations. The most revolting story of the day, if you miss the top of the show, I worked that in. Sharon Stone, who's lost her mind, brings up in a podcast, I guess it is. Who is the kisser, the best kisser in Hollywood? And she says there's only one guy out of all these co-stars, all these men with Sharon Stone. I've not done a look at the credits of, you mean Joe Peshy? No, no, it wasn't Pesci. Same film, though, casino. Yep, Bobby De Niro. He's the all-time kisser. When he kissed me in those shows, it was very authentic. It was unbelievable. Oh, my God. Sharon Stone, Robert De Niro. Didn't say anything about Trump? That's not necessary. All right. Dr. Coates, I know, is in the middle of a lot of interviews. We'll get to her shortly reacting to one pilot rescued, search for the second, underway. And it seems to be in a relatively remote area where maybe we have a shot, you know, as far as I understand, the two of them probably didn't eject at exactly the same second. So maybe the second pilot could be miles away from there. They have search and rescue. And this is going to be an heroic story and competent story. They've already rescued one. The Israeli defense forces have hauled its strikes as we search for this pilot. But the thing that got me today early on in the show, ABC News saying, well, this is really going to set the Trump administration back. that they have the ability to knock down a plane, meaning all planes, I guess, which I don't think they do. It does underline that we are in a difficult situation here. We've done incredible damage. We have, for now, it appears, stop their nuclear plans for how long, who knows, and yet...
This is why this bounces back. Here's why it's important. It bounces back to the Straits of Hormuz. You're going to see more difficulty this week. I still think the plan I like is the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, nations coming together. And what we do is we stop the Iranians from sending oil through there. And if they will not stop, we board them and we take over the ships, we take over the oil. Now, that does put vessels at risk potentially, but if we don't open up the Straits of Hormuz in some way, shape, or form after this, can we still just a couple weeks from now get out? We can do anything we want, but how is that going to be viewed? How does that work? And this is definitely a setback here, given what we perceive to be, and now we're in a more difficult situation if they can shoot down our planes. All right, 855-839-12-10. You get a line here. Let's go to Drew and up. Let's go to Grace down the shore. Find out how things are down there. Hey, Grace, thanks for the wait. How is the shore? Hey, Don. The shore is really great down here. The sun's out and it's beautiful. Yesterday, not so good. Okay. Okay. Doing real good here. But getting to your question, I think I'm speaking for most of the women. They could put people on the moon, but they can't get a better mammogram machine. So what's the problem? Is it uncomfortable or is it the results are unclear? Which one? The results are good. I like the results. It's just uncomfortable. I mean, it's not a great thing to go through. And most women hate it. So, you know, it's just not. I don't even know if men get it because I think men do get breast cancer. Yes. But, yeah, I'm not sure about that. I wonder if men had to take it more, if it would be better. Yeah, it would seem to be a relatively simple thing. And medicine should be advancing. When they're in the stage where you have something good, something reliable, the next advancement is to make it more comfortable. Right. And I think it's this way for a long time now. They changed the dip. that go in like their police that used to go in you know that all that that part of it got okay but they're still smashing away so i got you thank you grace happy easter all right so yeah i have to ask row about that ah okay All day long, we've been waiting, particularly in a day like this, YouTube.com slash 1210. You can also see Dr. Victoria Coates from the Heritage Foundation with us here on Talk Radio 1210. She's the vice president of the Catherine and Shelby Cullum Davis Institute and just nobody better. You see it during this crisis. I'm surprised Fox lets her out the door. Dr. Victoria, are you going to be able to get home for Easter? Listen, if I'm there at Fox, I'm saying,
Just to layer, tell her the doors don't work here. You know, we're getting guys to come in and fix him. Get her on one more time before Easter. Yes, Dom, I have a warm, needed feeling. But hopefully, you know, we've had the good news about the first pilot that we found everyone's praying for the second pilot. And we can get this wrapped up as only we can. And my heritage colleague, Brent Sadler, was actually just on Fox. And Brent made the point, I think, is really important for the audience, which is of 13,000. Combat Sardis have been flown in Operation Epic Theory. So this gives them a success rate of 0.008%. And one is too many. I'm not belittling this in any way, but it's really important to put it in perspective. And, you know, especially as the Iranians tried to... put this in context as a mighty victory, that it isn't. And that is especially the case if we get our second pilot back. I think that's a great point. I would hope the administration would make it in the way that you did just that way, just that way. But doesn't it underline to, as defeated as they are, the strait of Hormuz is the issue, meaning they still have some capabilities? What are the capabilities? This seems to be anti-aircraft fire. Not a missile. What are the capabilities you believe best guess they have left? Is it mainly drone-based? Well, this was probably a surface-to-air missile, probably a heat-skipping missile. And the thing about the F-15 E's as opposed to the regular F-15 is they're capable of fighting in and out of contested spaces. So using an E suggests to me that the planners knew that there were some capabilities down here, but even so, you know, that the capabilities were more than they expected. And that's really important because this is similar to their launch of an intermediate range ballistic missile. last week, the one that was targeting the Chagos Islands and Diego Garcia, it had not been demonstrated that they had that capability. So, yes, it's concerning that they have it. You know, we don't want them to have it, but it's also a lot easier on us to have it known. that they do. They've revealed that now, and that allows us to plan against it. So same thing with this. They haven't had a successful attack on one of our fighter jets before. Now we know we have a vulnerability. That means we can guard against it. They've spent a chip.
Are you surprised, I mean, because you probably deal with counterparts there in your role with the Trump administration before. The Europeans and others, are they behind the scenes a bit startled? This is the biggest thing in the war for me, other than taking away the nuclear component, that they actually had a missile. Thank God it got shot down. And the other, I don't think went quite as far, 2,500 miles. Nowhere bringing people like you on and others over the course of the years, did I have any sense they had that capability. Well, their missile program has always been an enormous concern, Dom. And they have this so-called peaceful space program, which involves launching a lot of, again, so-called satellites into space. They have no reason to launch satellites into space. This isn't a capability they require by any stretch of the imagination. And what my colleagues and I have long suspected is that is a... ICBM program. That is a intercontinental ballistic missile program that they're testing there. Those are the ones that go up into space and come back down through the atmospheres. Those are the ones that could strike the United States. And, you know, really the only reason you do that is because you want to hit the United States or threaten to hit the United States with a nuclear weapon. And by the same token, that 4,000 mile range they demonstrated with the Chagos Islands attempt. Other countries that have missiles of that range, they all have nuclear weapons. So I think they are really revealing as concretely as they can without testing that all of this is in pursuit of nuclear military capability. And that's why what President Trump has done over the course of the last month was necessary, is necessary, and I'm quite confident he's going to finish the job. A really hard question, but you're the best person I can ask this to. I'm in the camp as a layman sitting here, but watching things people I've interviewed over the years, I don't believe you can get it out of their head that they're not going to be able to go after a nuclear weapon, that they won't continue to do that. Is that the prevailing theory of the realist, say in the State Department, people like you? So that means that periodically. We may have to do not this, but some things to prevent that. Well, I think what you might see is more, you know, like midnight hammer, like what happened last spring. And that is certainly possible. But the other piece of this is, you know, there are resources with which to pursue a nuclear weapon. That is an expensive, difficult thing to do. And one of the problems the regime has, and shameless self-promotion, I had an op-ed in the... New York Post about this yesterday. They spent all of the sanctions relief from the Biden years, which was some $144 billion on things like October 7th and on their nuclear program.
None of it went back into Iran. None of it went back into, you know, investing in growth, investing in infrastructure, investing in things to improve the quality of life for the Iranian people. It all went into the military and into the nuclear program. And you've probably noticed you can't eat a nuclear program. And the military nuclear program doesn't heat your house or pay your electric bills. So for all of those reasons, they are in a catastrophic. economic meltdown. And what nobody knows is what happens, you know, the day after the fighting, that's so much worse for the regime than it is for the Americans because they've had their internet at 1% the last 33 days. So, you know, they were complaining that the three days in January was terrible economic damage. This, nobody knows. what's going to happen. But it's a really, really bad problem for them. Their currency is essentially worthless at this point. The inflation before the war was 40%. And so you're looking at depression, if not economic meltdown. And there's really nothing they can do about it. Not a shameless plug, because I have it right here in front of me. The Iraq War has the second front of what Tehran has already lost it. I use this for two shows. And they actually, oh, yeah, well, anything with you in it, and particularly in the middle of this. And you talk in there about new currency, a five million something and a 10 million something. What is that in dollars? Give us a sense of a five million note in Iran. Well, and that's so much more than anything. They used to print them in like 50,000, 100,000. And about at the beginning of February, so before the war started, they announced they were going to do a five million real note. which was worth about $3. And then 10 days ago, they announced that that wasn't enough. They needed a lot more zeros. They were going to start printing 10 million real notes, and those are worth about $7. So this is just a devastating devaluation of their currency. And being quite frankly, Dom, at some point, you run out of zeros. I mean, the bank notes are big enough to print them all. And so there are reports that everyone, the ATMs have all been emptied out. They can't refill them. And, you know, that what happens, you know, when. they go back into some version of normal commerce is almost certainly going to be capital flight out of the country. Anybody who can get hard currency, get dollars, get gold, get euros, anything along those lines or get the money out of the country, that will be. object number one, you know, sell whatever you can on their stock market, realize whatever little bit you can and get it somewhere else. And so, you know, that meltdown, you know, I think the regime is hopeful that the elevated oil prices will save them, but they can't sell enough oil fast enough to, you know, to achieve that. You know, that's going to be, you know, five, ten billion dollars. That's not going to not going to fix what they have going on here. So,
You know, I am very sympathetic with the Iranian people that they are rightly cautious about going out into the street when the possibility is that they're going to be mowed down by the regime's henchmen. But, you know, if all of this comes to pass in, you know, in a month, you know, they're going to be saying, you know, it's not that you're concerned about being mowed down. It's that you're concerned about starving and surviving. And that that really changes the calculus. I wanted to ask you the question. The president of the other night said, and he just dropped it and moved on, about satellite detection vis-a-vis nuclear materials. What's your sense of that? I mean, look, Dr. Coates, I'm almost crazed over this, that we need almost infallibility, which is impossible. I realize that they cannot get close to a nuclear weapon. Would we be counting the Israelis would know and they would take care of it? Or satellites? How does satellites detect this with the mountains, the underground, etc.? No, it's going to have to be in all of the above approach. And that's really the bottom line, that everything we've seen out of this regime is they can't be allowed to have, you know, the contrarians will say, well, we have nuclear weapons and everyone thinks the Israelis have nuclear weapons. We know the Brits have nuclear weapons. Why aren't you so worried about that? Because we are defensive with them. I mean, if it be accurate that Israel has nuclear weapons, they've had them for 50 years. When did they use them? And certainly they've had, you know, ample cause. to be concerned. But that hasn't been done. With this regime, you worry they're going to use them. So you need human intelligence. And this is one of the things that the work of people like Elon Musk. You know, we have dominance in space. What we're doing with Artemis this week, I mean, the Chinese can't do anything like this. And we need to keep it that way, that we have that kind of dominance. And I think you're going to hear a lot. This is why establishing the space force in the first term was so important. That's starting to become mature. And we are developing that capability because I don't believe that the Chinese are committed to the peaceful development of space, as much as we would like them to be. I don't believe the Russians are. either. So we need to be ready to defend our assets and our exquisite ability to keep an eye on things like the Iranian nuclear program. What do we look for, say, over the next couple of weeks? What's your eye on? Well, I mean, hopefully we will get the second pilot back and the president will do what he said he was going to do the other night and just hit him real hard. And the people who can stop this any time are whatever's left of the Iranian leadership. But, doctor, hit him real hard. What targets are we talking power plants, things? Is that where we go? You want to avoid that if.
if possible. And so, you know, he has left the door open to that and, and importantly, to participating in the rebuilding of Iran if it's under more reasonable leadership. And, you know, one, one quick note is the former foreign minister, Javed Zarif, just. published a piece in foreign affairs today, saying this is how we end the war, offering some concessions, not anywhere near enough. But we also heard some chirping out of his old boss, Sasan Rouhani, the old president of Iran during the Obama era, that he was open to reforms. So, you know, is some combination of Rouhani and Zarif who were known as reformists, you know, is that the Gorbachev or the Delci Rodriguez, if you will, is a transition figure to the new Iran. That's new in the last 24 hours. And so that'll be interesting to watch. In terms of targets, I think you're going to see more stuff like bridges, communications, the official internet system, which we've hit a couple of times. We can go back after that. And then anything that moves in terms of the missile program or any additional nuclear sites as well. Dr. Coach, thank you so much. Thanks for coming on today in the heat of all this. And have a great and happy Easter to you. Your mom, too, also. And thank you for being such a friend to the station. Absolutely. I think she's listening dumb, so I know she sends it back. Happy Easter to all my friends at WPHT. Thanks, Dr. Coates, very much. All right, there's Dr. Victoria Coates here on Talk Radio 1210. Nobody better that we can bring you. I mean, she's on the optimistic side, but realistic at the same time. And again, you heard the takeaways from this. And the answer is not infallible enough for me. What are you going to do? That's the best we're going to have as far as their nuclear detection. If I were president, though, I'm putting a guy in charge of nothing else, nothing else but that. They're not going to get a nuclear weapon day and night on. I know we have analysts. We have all people kind of thing. But I mean one guy who's the point guy who does nothing else on this. That's the whole thing. The other things, yeah, they're bad. Terrorism, the missile launchers, the nuclear weapon. And, you know, as Dr. Coach didn't say, well, there might be reasonable people. They're never going to give up this idea of getting a nuclear weapon. I don't see it. It's just not with religious fanaticism and the totality of the country. That's what you're facing. And they can't have it. And with all due respect to the Archbishop and these others, what world are they living in? How much evidence? Look, the Archbishop studies canon law, studies religion, the Archbishop in Chicago, talking about in Washington. I don't, but I know their religious background here, this fanaticism, what they believe and what they'll act on. It's a certainty. All right now, though, God knows today's with the burping and everything else. Maybe that'll make it in here. It is time for... It's Dobbs Money Melody. All right, today, we're playing for a pair of tickets to rumors, the ultimate Fleetwood Mac tribute show on Saturday, April 25th at the Zlock Performing Arts Center in Bucks County. For tickets and more information, visit bucks.edu slash tickets. Henry.
Yeah, side question today. We're asking, you know, we can put a man on the moon, but we can't do blank. So I tried to tie that in a little bit today. We can put a man on the moon. But we can't quite figure out what this artist's genre is. Ah, very nice. Is he a Southern rock artist? Is he a country artist? Is he a rapper? It's hard to tell with this guy. So I'm going to play you this cover artist today. I want to know the name of who we're playing here today. I'm going to play you the song Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch, originally done by... Four Tops. I want to know the person covering here today who just a couple months ago put on a controversial headline performance. All right? So let's take a listen. I want to know the name of this cover artist. A lot of different hats this guy puts on quite literally. Yeah. Yeah. And not a bad cover, but you know what? It's almost like another sacred song to me. I just have a certain sound in my head and I can't. Yeah, it's too far into it. And you're right. This guy could be any, he does sound Southern. But there's other elements in that. Well, I'd argue, like, this guy's biggest song is more of a Southern rock song. Okay. But then he's also his next biggest song is probably a rap song. A rapper, this guy? Yeah, 100%. Yeah, he's right. Oh, you have to play that after we get the, if you have any of it. That's amazing to me. All right, 855, 839, 1210. Hit us with that, and you're gone off to the Zlock. Tom Giordano on Talk Radio 1210, WPHT. It's Dom. Money Melody. Where has all the money gone? Show me to my... All right, we're looking for a guy today. He's a bit of a hybrid, to put it mildly. Let's hear the clue. Is he a rapper? Is he a Southern rock artist? Is he a country artist? We want to know who this is, Dom. All right. Let's go to Lou in Mount Laurel. Hey, Lou, what's your answer today? That would be Kid Rock. Nice to God. All right. Now it all comes together. It didn't sound like him to me on that. Much different than the halftime expression. Do I hear a helicopter in the back? Now, do you have Kid Rock rapping? Yeah, let me pull up ball with the bottom. Okay. All right. Let me reset. Lose the winner, and he goes off to the Zlock. We'll have the winner this hour of the side question, which has been a fabulous week. The Israelis helping in an intense search. For the remaining pile. All right, here's Kid Rock. All right. All right. I get it. I don't think you've heard enough yet. Oh, God. I think I've heard enough. Yeah. I'm sure President Trump would be dancing with him.
But it comes to this. All right. It's 855, 839, 12, 10. You just heard Virginia Coats lay it out as best we can where this goes next. By the way, it got buried in the search for the pilots here. But the jobs report today was exceptionally good. The expectation was 60,000 new jobs, and it's 178. You actually have this, this guy is one of the real, well, last night on CNN. And Henry, I don't know, you probably, I don't know, you watch the Abby Phillips show. Do you see any of the regulars? Do you ever watch on CNN? I don't watch it. 10 o'clock. Okay. Yeah. This muckler guy, he's the mightest touch, which is a podcast just completely devoted around the clock to going after Trump. And at times, they actually beat Joe Rogan out. during one stretch. So he's on, and he actually calls Trump a curse word, saying you're a hero, this blank, A word, okay? Full word, full thing. And Abby Phillip didn't say, hey, yo, CNN, this is high class, whatever. But this woman Lydia Moynihan really went after him. This is the level that we've gotten to here with Trump. So if there's no civility rules, okay, then nothing applies. It's just all hand-to-hand combat. But no, this is where we're headed. And the media playing this as if the story is, well, and you heard Dr. Coates say, well, now they have a better sense of their capability of shooting down planes, at least in that area, the missile that they used. Okay. You know, I prefer that they knew it before this. But if we get both pilots back, okay. It does indicate they still have capabilities, though. Capabilities that given the Strait of Hormuz are an issue. So I hear what she said. We're hitting bridges. There will be other targets. And I think she's right. What brings down these regimes is often inflation, no currency, people, no work, the whole thing, the economic system, and the $5 million, that's worth $3, the 10 million notes worth $7. But that takes time. And I don't see this as being an issue that is going to be with the American people for an extended period of time. And I hear the midterms knocking. So this Garcia guy on national TV today says, well, President Trump ought to be paying more attention to affordability, not this. We're at war, you moron. I get it politically. But is there no line here in a conflict against the most savage enemy imaginable? And given nuclear weapons. It puts this evil religious fanaticism. Nuclear weapons would put them on the level of the threat of Hitler and the Japanese. I don't say that lightly. They're not Hitler. They don't have that capability. They're not the Japanese capability. But given nuclear weapons and given what they do in their mindset, they are. That's the new world.
In the past, this is a middle power at best. They wouldn't have the fear that we have of what they might do. It's bad, but it's not Hitler. Give a nuclear weapon, and it certainly is. And given their calculus of what would happen if they exploded it, I'm convinced they would use it. I mean, this is worse if they had a nuclear weapon. in the world, then putting your head under a desk during the Russian missile crisis way back when. That's what it is. And what do you think Israel's going to do? Are they going to sit there and wait to have Tel Aviv annihilated by a nuclear weapon? I don't think so. 855-839, 12-10, you get a line. It is with that all-time answer. We can put a man on the moon, but they can't what? All right. By the way, they announced that it's two male pilots. You know, and I realize the difficulty without being said if it were a female pilot that the Iranians capture. But let's hope that went down late Thursday night, our time, I believe. Like early morning, three, four in the morning, something of that nature. They hit it. One rescued getting attention. The Israelis helped in that. Still dark when the F-15E went down. The other unknown at this part, but search and rescue is on top of it. You would think that would be what the military would stick to and be bringing you things around this. A listener, George, a great listener, reminded me what would Patton say about the U.S. media today and this military chaplain, Archbishop Broglio, that I went after a while ago. Remember the famous scene? I can go and watch Patton right now. George C. Scott, I don't know if you won any award for that, but my goodness.
When the U.S. military was stuck, we had air superiority beyond belief toward the end of World War II, but the fog cover. They couldn't fly, essentially. Patton won Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actor. Yeah, who was a director, Henry? Do you happen? I don't know. Franklin J. Schaffner. I don't know him, but, okay, they deserved it. uh just several of the scenes and scott played patten as bigger than life as he i mean we had it the other day the cardboard army and they thought patents coming at calais so we were able to get uh into uh normandy because they were protecting calais we know patents coming and that's all that we're worried about yeah my god you know healthy yeah about that movie should be noted to that uh George C. Scott was the first ever actor to refuse the award, the best actor. Oh, he did. Reason? Yeah, I didn't know that. I'm kind of unaware. I'm just picturing the eyes of George C. Scott in that. Don't kill, don't die for your country, kill the other, blank, blank for his country, among other things. And he went to the chaplain, and the guy wouldn't give him a prayer for good weather. He kept telling the guy, what kind of fraud are you talking about? I want a prayer to get those clouds out of my way. Yeah. Apparently, based upon a real thing. Imagine doing that today. Oh, my God. Apparently, George C. Scott viewed the Oscars as a commercial, artificial event rather than a legitimate artistic honor. Wow. What other than Patton, what was the other biggest George C. Scott? I'm trying to think. I mean, I think he was in 100, 125 movies probably. But I don't know what the other hugest film would be. But imagine having to play off him. You've got to really bring your A game. And in Patton, what's the scene where they're in Africa and the plane is firing bullets. They're going right between his legs as the German plane goes over and he's firing at with his pistol. I've never seen it. Yeah, never seen Patton? Oh, yeah, it's a great watch. Well, it's the thing, there's just so many of these movies, but they're never on anything. I can never find, like, I was going through movies last night, just scrolling all the services, and there's never anything I really want to watch. Yeah, Patton, I haven't seen it on, what would it be on? AMC would put Patton on. Let's see you. And maybe there's a, on my thing, it's 243, it's an older movie channel. they would put it on that. They start with movies in the 80s and going backwards. That's TV, though. Oh, okay. You know, like it's fine watching a movie on TV, but I don't have cable. Okay. Oh, all right. All right. I'll put our diligent listeners to this. Where can Henry see Pat? I mean, I could watch it off some sort of, you know. website, but the quality is not as good. It sounds bad. I bet we'll have somebody out there will tell you some Greek probably knew. Some Greek website. Some Greek website. Drew and Upper Darby, he's in on Talk Radio 1210. Hey, Drew, where can we get Patton?
You know, Dom, that's a great question. An American historian historian museum? I wouldn't know, but he's a perfect man for that role. You know, Don, he certainly was. Oh, yeah. Hey, Dom, man, you were so right about those pilots, how they're being so far apart. Because the F-15 was an Air Force, Air Force jets. That means the Air Force has their specialists. going out to look for it. You had power of rescue. Well, how much do you think they could be apart? Yeah. If they one ejects and the other ejects two or three seconds later, it could be miles, right? Yeah, it could be 100 miles. Hey, Tom, hey, do you remember the Persian Gulf War of 1991? There was a naval pilot who was shot down and he was captured and he was from New Jersey. And in the military, only Navy pilots are the ones who are required to know Morse code. And this captured pilot, they had them all drugged up, the Iraqis, but on TV, through Morse code with his eyes, he was sending a message. You know, I think it was torture or something. And I thought it was, it was unbelievable. He was transmitting Morse code through his eyes on TV. The other Drew, the other Drew is a guy behind enemy lines and Gene Hackman, I believe, was the lead in that based on a true story that we rescued him. It seemed to be like in Serbia, someplace like that. Yes, yes. That's based on the true story. The actor in that movie, Owen something, it's hard, because he was the pilot. It was hard for me to believe, you know. I forget the game, popular guy. But, hey, Dom, you know what? My answer, you know, we're all guilty of this. I'm sitting down on the couch. I'm flicking from the Eagles, Phillies, Fox News, all over the place. The remote control on the TV, you know, they can send a man to the moon, but they can't invent a remote control that doesn't need batteries. That is a great one. These are all subtle. This should be on the two-to-do list of listeners out there. Come on, Henry's revealed the burping and all. We need a good site over the weekend where he can easily see Patton. All right. It's got to be. Come on. Somebody out there. You can email me. You can do whatever. I'm sure somebody knows something. It's got to be out there in a quality site. And I'm taking a note next time I see it on AMC. I haven't seen it in a year or two, though. It will be on, or Turner Classic movies usually. Yeah. Yeah, I don't think Henry would have Turner Classic movies though. No. I don't have any channels. Oh, okay. Okay. All right. Oh, man. It makes things hard here. This is a difficult thing. I know somebody out there has it. They're aching to tell us to be the hero of the week.
Let's go to Paul in South Philly on Talk Radio 1210. Hey, Paul. Oh, hi, Mr. Dom. Thank you for all your insights all throughout the years. But I'm talking quickly, because I do want to say a lot. I really am a devout Catholic, and I would say that you are actually, you, Johnson, JD Vance, are actually more Catholic than the Pope. In other words, everybody knows that the Pope isn't speaking fallibly, even on religious issues, unless he's speaking ex-cathedra in Latin, which is the... So what I'm saying is, no, there's some issues that are black and white, and some are gray. Now, I admit that the just war theory is a gray area, and so the application and gray in terms of Catholic application of doctrine. So what I'm saying is, is he's speaking gray, and he's not speaking infallibly. So I think you're more. Well, thank you, Paul. And here's how I would put it, to the Holy Father and others. If there's doubt, don't you have to come down on the side of protecting innocent human life? And doesn't that mean there is no doubt that they would get a nuclear weapon if we didn't intervene here, that we'd have to wait for that. And then what would he do? We couldn't do anything. Well, you're exactly right. In other words, I admit, again, even though I'm saying that it is a little bit gray, but... As John Paul II said, Catholicism is like a bird, two wings of a bird, faith and reason. God gives us a reason to think. And the church on his side is the gray area of his side is only acting like there's no history. Oh, you can't use your brain that the Iranians are not as honest. And so anyway, and I just wanted to jump from that point to the other question about illegal immigration. And related to what we're saying. The illegal immigration, even doctrinally, in the Catholic faith, aren't supposed to jump in front of illegal immigration. And Bishop Serra on EWTN would explain, yes, there is a hierarchy of rights and responsibilities, even in the cap. And it's more clear. But anyway, so. Thank you, Paul. I'm not flat out of time. Call us again sooner next week. Have a nice Easter, Paul. Thank you. I will get the winner of the weekend. We will put the names in a hat after we had judged a winner today. 855839-1210. Tom Chiodano on Talk Radio 1210. WPHD. The time has come for the final test. We usually call us the lightning round. All right, quickly hit us with they can put a man on the moon, but they can't do what? The Earl of Tacconi, Earl, we got about 30 seconds. Go right ahead. We can put a man on the moon, but we can't teach someone how to pass a car properly. Okay, thank you, Earl. Pat in Lehigh Valley. Pat, what's yours?
Hey, mine is, we've perfected the solar energy, but we haven't. We can go around the moon. We use satellites, millions, and we get... from space. It's all done through solar energy, solar power. All righty, thank you, Pat. All right, we need some time today. These have been great. It worked pretty well. What a week for the side question answers. I don't know if the star was yesterday too big to fail. That was probably overwhelming. Kirk, give us a couple of contenders here. I'm going to go a couple contenders, sure. So I'm going to go with... Frank from South Philly can't cure cancer and Lance from South Philly can't cancel an AOL AOL description That was an early ringer in there All right, Henry, how about yours? Yeah, I'll second Frank's answer. I'll throw in Joe Columbus with the gravy or sauce. Yeah, Joe and X in with the UFOs. That one too. Drew in Upper Darby with the remote control that doesn't need batteries. Yeah, he did take an answer we could have taken off. Frank and South Philly with cancer. And also he said stop by, he'll cure the burping on your way home. Exactly right. He's ready. He's got all kinds of medicinal supplies. All right. So let's put that winner in today. Let's have the review of the week. All righty. Let's take a look. So Monday, we asked for something you associate with kings and queens, Tom and Marlton, one with Eddie Fainter. Yes. Tuesday, we asked for... Oh, something you associate with the family. Lance South Philly won with teaching how to swim. Well, the editor's no, throwing the kid into the pool and then jumping in with the kid cries. Yes. Oh, my God. His specific way. Yeah. Wednesday, we asked for that all-time fool, drew an upper derby, one with the answer of building a fake base to trick the Nazis. Yesterday, we asked something too big to fail. Joan Eckston, one with gold. And you heard it here. We can put a man on the moon, but we can't blank. Frank, South Philly, one with cure cancer. So if we put all of these into the hat here. Uh, get it going here. Let me put this up. Didn't have it up in front of me. Okay. Get my drum roll please.
All right, to number four. Joe and Exton. Woo-woo. All right. Joe in Exton. And Joe, you have a $50 gift card to the great jug handle inn in Cinemence in New Jersey. I've never been there, but, you know, playing on Jersey, a jug handle. That is perfect. You'll always find award-winning wings, including the Tony Bruno wing, great food, and incredible specials at the jug handle in. We'll bring you a report from the field. I think all of us from the Travis Mannion bidding on that are going to be with a bunch of listeners on April 23rd. So get over to the jug handle in. It is just a... It's a staple and playing off the jug handle the wings and all, all good stuff. So great week on the side question. Loved it. By the way, the FBI's arrested eight in the California health care fraud takedown. My message, Trump administration, poor every resource you have into this, including publicizing this stuff. Two things. In Minnesota, it was phony autism trip. Just think of the problems we have with autism. And they were getting tens of millions of not $100 million on phony autism. And I'm looking again, the same usual suspect class out there, more than $4 million paid out to this one couple. fake hospice stuff. Apparently Russians, emigraise and people from that region. What did Dr. Oz say when he was on the show was like 100 hospice care centers in a four block area in Van Nuys? Right there in plain view. They don't care. They're not going to do anything about it. Politically, this is valuable. Go after it. And you know where they ought to go after it right here in Philadelphia. How much of that home health care stuff? is fraudulent, all right? We have Dave Sunday on the show. He's leading the country going after Medicaid fraud. And this is just, and it's these secretive groups, like in Minnesota, the Somalis, principally. It's stunning, stunning. Great job, Kirk and Henry producing this week and sharing with the show. I'm still working on that one. We'll have to have more. We need a burping remedy. It's not going to happen unless I get a doctor who leaves me. And no one has come through with a place to see in the next couple of days, Pat. And I'm shocked. I have to go to higher powers to get this. There was a few that they call it. Everyone's given me paid for options. Everyone's giving me the Hulu ad on or buy it from Amazon for five bucks. I'm not doing that. I'm sorry. Oh, man. That question will continue into the weekend. Happy Easter and Passover to everybody. And let's get that second pilot home. and then move on here.
