Dom Chiodano on Talk Radio 1210, WPHT. All right, it is Dom time. Welcome in, loaded up today. Great side question. Dawn Fantasia, who's had a couple of viral moments lecturing the entire New Jersey Assembly will be here at 1230. And Fred Heron will be with us to talk Temple, what happened there, and also what is going on with this report of the chiefs of police, exonerating the cops and the big Quaker Town thing. And also the hometown newspaper, NJ.com, the hometown website newspaper, the biggie in New Jersey, they're critic. scorches Bruce Springsteen coming home. Springsteen's New Jersey concert was poisoned by hypocrisy. Anti-Trump final act is a tragic mistake. And more than just Trump, put Trump aside for a moment. He scorches Springsteen for exactly what I've been talking about. You cannot rail at Grants, billionaire business people, and oh, America and the middle class. and then be charging what he is charging. Finally, a guy that gets it right, you've got to understand the significance, too. In Jersey, even today, to go after Springsteen like this, is kind of unparalleled. But we start with one of the most, and I've never interviewed him, but just based on interviews, well, one of the most discerbic Democrats, senators, that would be Chris Murphy from Connecticut. So he claims, this just came down, he claims this was sarcasm. But it plays into something that a lot of people, including John Fetterman, suspect or no, that Democrats, while not rooting ultimately for Iran, in a match of Iran and Trump, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. In other words, they're not rooting for Iran in general. But when it comes to Trump succeeding, they are definitively rooting. You can feel it. Every day that Iran goes by holding us hostage to stray anything like that. So what happened is these shadow ships, these 26 ships of Iran, it was initially claimed. And Trey Yankst, who's great on Middle East reporting for Fox, undercut this, but it was originally said to be that they got through our blockade. And at that point, Chris Murphy tweeted out in response, awesome, awesome. Now, this morning, because of even people like Harry Fleischer calling him a traitor, Chris Murphy is saying, yeah, yeah, you guys don't know, you're so stupid, you don't know sarcasm. This is sarcasm. In other words, I was being sarcastic that Trump is so ill-equipped on this that I was putting awesome down to mean, yeah, awesome. Like awesome. Oh, my God. Look at this. Look how incompetent we are. Well, that would be on the U.S. military then, Chris, he wouldn't it? So I don't think people are buying this whole thing of Chris Murphy saying this was just Twitter sarcasm.

3:31

But would he be bold enough to just look down? Yeah, awesome, directly. Well, as I said, even people like John Fetterman say, this is like Rudy, they're putting people on their shoulders and they're rooting for them. They are clearly not wanting Trump and the United States to succeed in this. So as we move forward on this, I'll update you because Murphy is running for president. I don't think he'll be their nominee. But he is one of their leading guns caught up in this whole thing. Now, with spring, oh, by the way, one update, we had such fun with this yesterday, the all that you can eat shrimp, okay? And are they rolling the dice now to go bankrupt again with Red Lobster? Remember we talked about Red Lobster, $11 million operational cost the last time they did it? They try to put in all kind of roadblocks. One of them is clearly they're not going to do it for takeout. In other words, you can't do all you can eat shrimp for takeout. Apparently, people were showing up with, I don't even know, I never got to how that could be a takeout thing. It should be clear it's got to eat it there. I mean, what are you going to keep on coming back? So. They have tightened it up a bit, but it still seems to me these guys are rolling the dice with a mob. They mustn't have shrimp eating experience that they think inordinate amounts would be more than a dozen. I don't think so. I think the big eaters got to eat at least three dozen shrimp. And even then, that might be on the tipping point of some of the really big shrimp eaters. You really love shrimp for these prices. You're sitting down for dinner. I don't care how much salad stuff they put around it. You're going to consume three dozen shrimp or more. Can they handle that? Well, I just have to get there when this happens to see what it's like at a red lobster. Oh, my God. But no takeout. Apparently, before people were bringing, you can bring a certain size or something, they would fill it up. That's what I read in the break. Ridiculous. Right. Well, this is how silly they are. That sounds like something you do for like 7-11 day. We can you do as much slurpy as one. You can bring like a kiddie pool and fill it up? Yeah. That's stupid for shrimp. Why would they, why would they do this? Well, that's how they got $11 million in the hole pretty quickly. Operationally. Yeah, that's a good point. All right. So the Springsteen stuff. The guided rights for n.J.com. Is there a longtime entertainment critic? And he talks about Newark Monday Night Springsteen is a familiar portrait of rock god pomp and fervor. Then he talks about, he says this, one problem for Springsteen, it's all hypocritical crap, profiteering over legitimate protest. Springsteen's artistic identity as a bleeding heart populace who sings for the destitute and downtrodden has never been more disconnected from his economic behavior as a touring act or businessman. The blue-collar troubadour now charges exorbitant accounts for his tickets up to $2,900 retail for the best seats in Newark Monday. Prices he agreed to despite fan backlash.

7:09

He's selling no Kings branded flags for 90 bucks. What kind of maniacs are paying 90 bucks for? Oh, well, Springsteins. It's the Springsteen merch. No Kings. This is like the Trump stuff. $90 for in the arena concourse. Last week, his merchandise distributor got an injunction pass to ban bootleg t-shirt sales outside the venue. Even as crews of independent sellers find examples of working class people he's romanticized for 50 years, hawk merch at nearly every Prudential Center show without an issue. In other words, you have these guys hawking shirts. For every other act that comes in, according to this guy, the critic, and nobody bothers them. Wouldn't that be the working class that all Bruce would be talking about, just hustling, trying to make a buck? No, he cracks down on them. They go after them, hammering Tom. So this guy is just getting by on what? It's a fraud. And then the critic talks about the tiresome nature of him going after Trump, how tired that is, how interruptive it is. But his main thrust is what I've been saying forever, which is this guy is fraudulent. He says, yeah, well, you know, Paul McCartney and Taylor Swift and fill in the X of other big acts, they want to go with this platinum premier ticketing thing. Their act is not based on that. Paul McCarton, he's not singing as a populist. I mean, he's off of Beatles and his own stuff over the years, right? Taylor Swift, his angst, I don't know if she's calmed down the angst now, but she's getting married. Springsteen, clearly, these tank towns in Jersey, the man's doing it to you. And here we go again with it. I mean, it is one of the most. The $90 no king's thing is stunning. Yeah, he's still, I wouldn't say he's limping along. He probably sells out. He's coming to Philadelphia. I'm pretty sure he'll saw it. It's got to be in the next few days, I would think. I'm pretty sure he'll sell out here pretty easily, maximum price. And it's the hypocrisy of it. We always hear about Trump. What about the hypocrisy of this guy as a leading figure? All right, let me give me the side question today. So we have the Penguins flyers looking really good. On the other hand, is there another drubbing tonight of the Sixers by the Celtics? Now, that's a rivalry that used to be, to me, storied because of Chamberlain, Russell, how difficult it was to beat him when the Sixers finally did. Just those two giants. You don't get more Titanic matches than that. So we're looking for all-time rivals. But.

10:16

You know, try not to center in on sports. We know all the sports ones, and you know, some guy asked me, well, why do you take some off the board? Buddy, get with the show. Here's the program. It's right here. Why? Why do you think I did? I was polite in answering. We're trying to tell people, hey, these are obvious ones. We're having a little bit of fun with it outside the box of our own. We contribute to it. So I'm going to take off Joker and Batman, and the reason that's my number one rivalry. I think, yeah, it's a Joker that says it best. He doesn't want Batman to die. He doesn't want to kill Batman. Where's the fun? If that rival isn't there to hate and continue to wake up and go after him, everybody needs a great foil. He completes him. That's a line. That's right. Now, the Hatfield and McCoys had a different approach. They thought if we exterminate the other side, maybe we'll be happy. I don't know if there was any intermarriage here. And one of the all-time rivalries that I like is Marianne and Ginger. And of course, I'm Team Ginger, the big hair, the whole thing. I get the Don Wells. I get the appeal. I think she held up better over the years than Ginger did. But that's a storied rivalry. Henry, what's yours? Yeah, I'll take two off the board here. How about the classic cat and mouse chase of Tom and Jerry? I mean, episode after episode, season after season, artist after artist, because it changed art designs a few times. Didn't matter. The hatred was there. It was on site every time. We're making, you know, gadgets to get away from each other. I'm, you know, smacking your tail with a hammer. I'm doing whatever it takes to beat the crap out of the other guy. And then the other one I'll take off. How annoying does it have to be some sort of brilliant inventor and scientist and have some bum over in New Jersey looking over your shoulder copying everything? Oh, God, you buy into this. I'm, of course, talking about the brilliant Nicola Tesla and that other guy, Thomas Edison. The, what is it, the genius of Menlo Park you're talking about? Yeah, put respect on his name. All right, that's a good rival. I don't know how this has happened. I never heard that until Dan started that. You started it. Okay. Wow. Kirk, how about yours? I got Zenos beat. So I got Athens versus Sparta. Oh, that's a great. Hundreds of years. Far control. Absolutely over Greece. And to this day, the U.S. against the Soviet Union. Back then, it was a cold war. So now it's even more heated. I don't know if I agree with that one. I like the attempt. I mean, it doesn't do it from me. That's why the Olympics suck. That's true, too. When we used to play the Soviet Union, I'm on there the floor crying every day. scrounge in another inch, you're cheating us. Tamara Press, test her right here. She's a man, which she was, the press sisters. That's fair. No, but I think it's back then. Back, oh, that's an old-timer. When you have nuclear Armageddon point, that's why I'm saying, that's an all-timer. China, we've never had quite. We should. Mm-hmm. Yep. That's where, yeah, but the former Soviet Union, oh, yeah, particularly if Vladimir Putin had been. I'm not saying currently now, I'm saying, if Vladimir Putin had been in charge then, oh, my God. Nikita Cruz, Jeff, banging his shoe on the table, et cetera, yeah. Imagine a guy taking off his shoe and throwing it. Arguing with Richard Nixon in a kitchen, and Nixon really giving it to him. Mm-hmm. It was a World's Fair Center, and they're in a kitchen, and Nixon's showing dishwashers, and they set them off both of them. Wow. Oh, yeah. Yeah.

13:43

855-839-12-10. All right. Hit us with that all-time rivalry. That's what we're looking for. Coming up, one of our all-time favorites, Storm Fantasia, had a big moment just recently, but got a couple of things with her. A viral moment. It went nuts when she lectured the entire assembly in Jersey about trying to say they're going to take the mask off ice. What about the federal supremacy clause? And Dawn said there's a million lawyers here, but I'm going to proceed with this. I'll play you a little snippet. And she'll be here at 1230. By the way, shots fired. Josh Shapiro on Twitter putting up, and this is before the other news on this, that SEPTA is only 290 to ride home from, unlike what's going on in Jersey. Why is he taking shots at Mikie Sherrill now? Is she a rival? And then it came down that Airbnb in Philadelphia is going to cover you, not going, but coming home. It'll be free if you leave at halftime up to two hours after the soccer match of boredom is over. Airbnb is going to pay your way home. I think it's just on the Broad Street line. Okay? And he stops at Temple. You're on your own. 855, 839, 12, 10. Hit us with that all-time rivalry. Try outside of sports. Sports is easy. We get that how it comes to head. So with a guy who sent me that, you're not going to win the Cowboys and Eagles. All right, buddy, that's why we do it. Listen a little bit. It's a fun thing. Don't get upset over that. Come on. All right, so Dawn Fantasia, I'll play you that cut coming up. Your reaction to imagine the hometown press newspaper, nj.com. The newspaper across New Jersey calling out Springsteen, not so much even about going after Trump and being political, but even worse, the very core of Springsteen, meaning he's fraudulent. That's the thing. The Trump stuff, you know, all right, I get it. I get out. People get upset. Okay. It's the whole premise upon which he's made three quarters of a billion or so. That's what's at stake here. And the people that still go, they're still going to go, I guess. I think you've been sold out in Newark. But it is stunning to see it continue. All right, 855, 839, 1210. Tom Chiodato on Talk Radio 1210, WPHD. All right, coming to you on the side question, 85, 8, 3, 9, 12. 10, you're with Dom. JD Vance, not taken off yet, unclear whether there will be more talks. Awesome, says Chris Murphy. Sarcasm, noted. Hey, Chris, maybe you ought to put an emoji. I don't know what the sarcastic emoji is or your face on there. That'll be sarcastic. Are Democrats rooting for Iran? Per se, they're not rooting for Iran, but they're rooting against Trump. That's what it is. They're hoping that Iran, yeah, down the road will take care of them, but not with Trump. Many of them. They can't honestly say, all right, we got to put it aside from this. We don't like Trump, but yeah, we got to be rooting here because it's national security, the world, the whole thing. No, no, no, I don't think they are. Dawn Fantasia, Assemblywoman that we first met because of the bird feeders, if you remember, had to be 10 feet high and all that stuff. The trash cans in Sussex County, hilarious.

17:20

She'll be with us at 1230. Here's a little bit of Dawn last week on the floor of the assembly. And here she's trying to tell these people as they're voting on a bill that says, yeah, these towns in Jersey are going to unmask ice. This went viral. And it was really tremendously put together, passionate and right on point. Here's what Dawn said. This bill is the third in this trio that we're seeing today, and this bill isn't just misguided. This may be the most unserious bill that we've had in front of us when it comes to this. There are things that we can control from this vantage point. And there are things we cannot control. And understanding the difference between the federal government and the state government would do us all a lot of good, save us all a lot of time, and save us all a lot of money. We can set policy for New Jersey. We cannot control the federal government. We can control our state agencies. We can control our local law enforcement. Yet, here we are. This bill sweeps in federal law enforcement and pretends we can regulate how they do their jobs, what they wear, how they operate, and how they carry out federal law. We do not have that authority. I'll say it again. We do not have that authority. Stop wasting the taxpayer money. Case you didn't hear me, we don't have that authority. The Constitution is not optional. There's the supremacy clause, which you think would be obvious that makes it clear, that federal law overrides state law when the two conflict. There's also the intergovernmental immunity. We cannot interfere with federal operations. We cannot burden federal officers carrying out federal duties. We cannot... dictate how federal law is enforced. We can't regulate them, control them, mask them, dictate their conduct, unmask them. And every single time a state tries, it's been struck down in court. I'll say it again, every single time a state tries, it's struck down in court. I don't know how many more times New Jersey has to run into a courtroom and lose taxpayer dollars. chasing headlines before we internalize that we don't make this decision. There we go. All right. We have more, but there's Dawn, and this went viral because of the tone and because of the fact she was laying out. I think at one point she brought up, yeah, we have like 50 lawyers here. You guys don't know that? And we're like, yeah, we're corrupt. We don't care. Keep talking. But it still was out there. Yeah, that's right. It was out there all over the place. And also, she's had a lot to say about Mikie Sherrill and the FIFA thing. And as I said, somehow or another, Josh Shapiro jumps into the ring on Twitter making much of the fact that New Jersey transit, he puts it up, is going to be $150 for the train and $80 if you go by bus. And SEPTA is only $290. Now, in fairness, they're only giving the free ride or the 290 down the Broad Street line essentially.

20:36

Right? I don't know. It's 18 miles on the other. But still, they made the deal. They were begging to have this corrupt organization come in. And that corrupt organization is going to milk $11 billion. Well, they have the crack cocaine that people want, Mikey. And now Mikie Sherrill trying to say, this is affordability. And we're going to take on FIFA and put it under the ledger of affordability. Again, how are you doing that? You have a contract with them. You're going to say it's over? We're not going to do it. We don't want to bring the World Cup here. No, they're hoping to show, and Josh Shapiro, though, is trying to say he's Mr. Affordability because it's only going to be $2.90 here. All right, $8.55, $8,000, $1,000, you get a line. So coming up, we'll talk with Dawn. And there's a couple of other things here, though. The Pennsylvania Democrats today unveiled their affordability agenda. I'll give you a little bit of that. And again, it gives them something to run on. You remember what I told you yesterday? And I got a lot of social media, a lot of emails. All right, if you want to be somebody comforting yourself saying the Supreme Court will strike down what the Democrats are up to, if you miss it yesterday, what they're up to is this. There only may be two or three states, and there's a lot of pathways away, from having this compact where these states say, whoever wins a popular vote in 2028, they will get their electoral vote for president. All they have to do is get to 270. Pennsylvania would put them over the top. I'm not relying on the Supreme Court here. It seems to be the case. And the big story out there today, and here's something really preposterous, Republicans are saying, so I'll be asking the question all show, what do you think, because you're motivated, obviously, you're Dom listener, talk radio listener, you're going to vote. You get it. You got to vote. Midterms. Important beyond belief. They're saying they want Samuel Alito to retire Samuel Alito. What? sometime between now and the midterms. And then the fight would be ratcheting up in the senatorial races since they vote on the Supreme Court, on the, yeah, Supreme Court nominee. And that will pull them over the line in the Senate. Man, I'm kind of thinking, if we're worried about, I think we should hold the Senate. We should go all out. I'm worried about the House, though. So how about this plan? They feel you will get extra motivated. If Samuel Alito retires, John Roberts then was rumored, and Trump gets to appoint someone that will rally the troops that are going to come out firing in the midterms because the Supreme Court will galvanize people. I'm not seeing it at all. I think passing the Save America Act. is something more. I think, well, I'll give you one coming up of what Trump can do to fire back. I'll give you the Cliff Notes version. Trump can take that territory that used to be part of D.C. that was given to Virginia. He can snatch it back. Virginia took it. It was a slave state to enhance their ability to continue slavery. That land belongs to D.C.

24:23

It could be snatched back by Trump. And that would take away some of their congressional power. I hope Trump does it. This is war of what they're doing in Virginia today. If they succeed there, this is beyond belief. So I hope Trump does it. But would that motivate people to vote? I don't think so, particularly in these congressional races. All right, 855, 839, 12, 10. Let me go to Ryan. Let's get one on board in Horsham. Hey, Ryan, what do you have today? Hey, Dom. It's pretty much a live action, a live, real-life version of Tom and Jerry, the robbery, between Frank Burns and Hawkeye Pierce from the 4077 Mass Show. Which Frank Burns do you like? Like Frank Burns, he's the one to replace Winchester. Yeah, okay. He's the one that's, but pretty much half the show revolved around their robbery. them roasting Frank Burns and pretty much interrupting he and Frank and Margaret's Midnight Rendezus. And it pretty much was one most popular shows of the 70s. And I think that was a big part of what made the show succeed. Just the dialogue between that. Absolutely. Yeah, and the movie even more so, Hot Lips Hoaghan. And that finale, by the way, we may be asking for the all-time best ending to a story. As a side, Henry are cooking this up in the back room here. So it's working all angles on this. Based upon something I told him, Rose says about happy, can't you have more than one happy ending? One's not enough. Every character has to have a happy ending. I'm not going. That's Hollywood. Hollywood, you got to write for it. Everybody has a happy ending. All right. Coming up, the great Dawn Fantasia, you heard that viral moment. She's with us next on Talk Radio 1210. on Talk Radio 1210, WPHT. All right, Tom Gier, Dano's show. Welcome in everyone. You know, we are really in good stead when it comes to all things Jersey, our portfolio of who to go to, Matt Rooney, Rich, and Dawn Fantasia, who we met, Assemblywoman from Sussex County, due to the vaunted bird feeder. I have to ask her, how did that ever end up? I'm thinking about it. Remember about the bears and you had to put the bird feeders up at 10 feet and then the trash cans that were bearproof. Well, Zohran Mamdani just put out in New York the other day the rat proof trash can. Meanwhile, rats across. New York are saying, oh yeah, buddy, we'll see about this. Let's go to Dawn Fantasia. So, Dawn, welcome back. Congratulations on a viral moment. We played some of it. Whatever happened with the bird feeders?

27:18

Well, it's great being back. Nothing happened with the bird feeders. I think that was a situation where the ground swell was so loud in pointing out the absurdity that there's pretty much no further action on that as of right now. And as you can tell, if you're watching the news, we kind of got our hands full over here with things a little more heavy than bird feeders at this point. So right now, silent. So, Dawn, were you surprised that that went viral? We saw it and thought the mockery of it and they talk of, hey, how many lawyers do we have in here that don't know anything? And the constant repetition would get a lot of play, but it actually went viral. Well, I certainly wasn't expecting that, but I can tell you what an exercise and frustration that was for all of us. We spent over an hour on these anti-immigration enforcement bills. You know, we went line by line explaining, and all of us, very calmly at first, why all of these bills run straight into the supremacy clause. So we were calm and we were measured and we were all careful. You know, when you're dealing with something that's basic until we weren't calm anymore because it just got completely ridiculous. And it just needed to be said that we don't control the federal government, right? And how does a room full of adults who, a fair amount of those elected officials are lawyers, not understand this? And I mean, I just, I blew. My temper just went. Well, let me ask you, do they not understand it or are they so craving? The feeling I have, Dawn, so I feel for you and your colleague, too, that you were good enough to get on with us. They basically aren't they saying, we just don't care. We're going to do what we want. None of this matters, Dawn. Or are they really undereducated on a lot of stuff also? You know, I would say you got a 50-50 there, right? So you have those who completely fully comprehend that if you wanted to write federal law, go and run for Congress, because that's where you do it, you don't do it here. Like we write state law, right, and we govern New Jersey. However, you have the other side that thinks they're incredibly cute, and the arguments get really strained. Like, they'll say things like, well, there's no federal law that says, you know, agents have to wear a mask. So we can actually regulate it. So, you know, by that logic, the federal government never passed a law, let's say, that ICE agents had to wear blue eyeliner or purple socks. So I guess New Jersey can ban, you know, blue eyeliner and purple socks. So, you know, maybe next week we decide they can't wear a blue shirt or boots instead of sneakers. And it's absurd because it is. So that's some of the arguments that we're getting back, that the federal government, they wanted a line item. specifically saying a mask and because they didn't, we're not allowed to ban it. And no, that's not how this works. And it's a sorry state of affairs when you have, you know, again, a school administrator and English teacher actually pointing out comprehension skills for these people. Absolutely. Dawn, one of our favorites, and you are, you're at the Mikie Sherrill desk on this show anyhow. The FIFA battles, and I realize the posturing over affordability.

30:31

Then Josh Shapiro jumps into the ring and puts on Twitter, hey, SEPTA, 290, Jersey, 150 for the train and 80 hours for the bus. Is he running against Mikie Sherrill or is he saying he's the only guy that can get blank done or something? I was surprised he jumped in against other Democrats. Oh, yeah. Well, I looked at that as shots fired. I even made a post about that. I said, you know, that's a fire across the bow, right? So I think that was just pointing out the obvious. I mean, it's not just Pennsylvania that handled it. I mean, look at Los Angeles. They built out transit capacity, knowing that global events were coming. Atlanta already has a rail feeding into its stadium. Dallas spreads traffic. You know, they have multiple hubs in New Jersey gives you $150 bottleneck, right? And this is where it's insane to me. First of all, you know, our train system is aging. I mean, it struggles. All it takes is one issue, one signal problem, one disabled train, and you're going to have a nightmare. But I think the larger piece of this, right, is that you have all these Democratic leaders now. You have Chuck Schumer, you have Sherrill in New Jersey. acting like this is a fight against the man, right? Like big bad FIFA, as if they didn't chase the event in the first place. Like this is a high revenue, global, private event. They wanted the World Cup. They wanted the spotlight. They wanted the headline. And they wanted the global stage. But when it comes time to actually deliver it, it turns into cost sharing and blame shifting, passing the burden along. So in typical socialist form, they want it. They just don't want to pay for it. Yeah, and Dawn, though, what I give them credit for, and I wanted to talk to the midterms from you, you know, put on a hat with Congress here, they're trying to push it under affordability. And look, when they have nothing else, continuing to say affordability and turn out your voters on Trump hatred, I think that's the smartest thing they can do. What's the way to puncture all this affordability? Don't you, as Republicans, have to both puncture it and then give the things that make things affordable? Well, most definitely, and again, you know, in New Jersey with the death of a lot of the local media outlets, it makes that messaging all the more difficult for us. But I don't know how many more examples the residents of New Jersey need to see how we are getting fleeced. you know, with our budget coming up. And the fact that any Democrat could run on a message of affordability, but again, they just say things. They say things that aren't even remotely true. And the onus is on us on the other side to not only poke a hole through it, because it's pretty simple and it's pretty logical when you lay out the facts, but it's how do we get those facts out to the general populace? Because let me tell you, this school budget that's coming down the pike in New Jersey, this is the worst that has ever been in the history of the state. Yeah, by that, I want to interrupt and make a fine point on that. That means then that some of these districts still get the largest, like your favorite, and it's amazing what goes on with Newark. And suddenly, these other school districts that are doing their job pretty much get hit by this. That's what's happened before.

33:47

You're absolutely right. And here's the fun part that they're not talking about is that now some of the Democrat districts are getting smacked and they're getting hit with it. So in typical Democrat fashion, what they've done in the past is just in the 11th hour, as we're about to close out the budget. They tack on millions of dollars for their individual school districts as like a pork item, a Christmas tree item. But now the governor had said multiple times, let's see if she sticks to this, that that's not a thing. that we're not going to be doing any pork at the end. So now the scramble is really happening. And now you actually see, you know, Democrats who came up with stupid ideas two years ago to let you raise your property taxes up to 10% to make up for the shortfall. Now all of a sudden they're saying, oh, who can we, all right, now we're going to ask the Commissioner of Education. We're going to blame her. She's been here 10 minutes. Like, you have to see this dance. This is gymnastics. Like, honestly, to be a Democrat in New Jersey, it's a sport. It's a sport now to see them that they have to train for to dance their way out of this. Well, what I'm hopeful, though, is the new woman Marxist who took over for Mikie Sherrill, who's a progressive. I don't think a Marxist. I mean, that would require ideology. She's more corrupt than that. Talk about the winner in that Montclair area. How far, I think she could be a member of the squad, maybe not as smart as some of the others saying something, but definitely a member. Well, let's just say intelligence is relative, I suppose, with that entire group. But, you know, what I can say is it was a surprise that she even won the primary. But now that the primaries, you know, are no longer rigged by the county organizations, you have a lot of special interests that play and the favorite was bumped. And there was a lot of factors going on there. But what the nation might not know, what our friends in Pennsylvania, and you might not know is, you know, that district used to be fairly Republican and with redistricting. then became a Democrat, pretty solidly Democrat district. The odd part is that she came in, you know, and was able to win, but she did take a bit of a beating in the more Jewish concentrated towns. You saw a really big swing away because of her, you know, past anti-Jewish rhetoric. So. You know, we really have an issue here because when you look at that district and the demographics of that district, I shake my head, I say, who are these, you know, wealthy, affluent white liberal limousine women that are looking at this, you know, sipping their expensive lattes, you know, as they're daunting off to their Hampton's vacation house and saying, boy, you know, I got all this in my life under socialism. They certainly did not. So it's a real disconnect to me. to see these incredibly wealthy people in New Jersey vote for a socialist. You know, it's almost like rules for thee and not for me. So I'm curious to see how this pans out, how long she could even hold a seat like that in that area and who would be coming along looking to knock her out of that seat because she is not at all representative of the majority of that district. Great point. Dawn, where do we find you on social media? I am on Twitter at, or I should say X now, right, Dawn Fantasia underscore NJ, and then on Facebook Assemblywoman Dawn Fantasia. Great stuff, and I just love watching the assembly as you were holding forth on the supremacy clause. I like, Dawn. Good stuff, good stuff. Thank you, Dawn. Thank you so much. Take care. All right, from the bird feeder to now, every time delivers. All right. Coming up.

37:27

Who is this Hasan Piker? All right, I'll give you, I'll tell you why he's on my radar screen. He's not out there nationally, this influencer. He's going to stream with a guy running for Congress over here in Philadelphia, a rep rab that the inquire endorsed. Now, this guy is a stone cold radical, anti-Israel, anti-Jewish. But Hasan Piker, did he really say we deserve 9-11? Yeah, of course he did. He's proud of it, and he'll say it again if you let him. So is the Philadelphia Inquirer then thinking we deserve 9-11? Maybe they ought to write an editorial on it. Let's break that down. And the side question today. Come on, get into that. Tons of great rivals out there. It is with 1, 855, 839, 12, 10. Let's talk. about Dr. Benz for a moment because this is National Prostodonics Awareness Week. Now, my friends, and board certified prostodontics, you got two of them at the Bent's Dental Group. You have Dr. Robert Benz, my guy for 11 years, and his daughter, Dr. Emily Bentz. And when you hear about dentists all the time, it's important to know. Book that appointment today, bentsdentalgroup.com. Tom Giordano on Talk Radio 1210, WPHPHT. All right, so you're with Dom. Great stuff from Dawn Fantasia, 85-839, 12, 10. Of course, in Virginia, Democrats using classrooms to influence parents telling you kitties to go, oh, make sure you vote. We have to gerrymander big time today. I told you. Little known, but I just saw it this morning. President Trump can reinvigorate bringing Virginia, part of Virginia, back into the District of Columbia. Oh, yes, that would be punishment. And it's exactly the part that you would want to have to live under that mess. In other words, at one point, they seceded from the land by Congress at the District of Columbia to go to Virginia in order to be a slave state and to pump that up.

40:34

he could bring it back. They want to fire shots doing what they're doing, bring part of Virginia back into D.C. It would limit their power and it would also then make them have to live under the very nonsense that they espouse. I think based upon Scott Presler on and off air and what the preliminaries here, I think they're going to be stopped. But this shows you the lengths that they're going to go to. In order to just grab power, I told you about that compact yesterday and all that. And one of their key guys to rouse people is this Hasan Piker character. So they have a fierce race, and I'm looking, if you remember, this Dr. Sanford became famous during COVID. They had a debate over in that congressional district that's Mount Airy, Germantown, and Chestnut Hill, I think, part of. They had that debate last night, and she adamantly said, no, she's not going to call what the Israelis are engaged in genocide, and she likened that, doing that, to anti-black slurs. She's an African-American woman. Meanwhile, the person the inquire endorsed Chris Robb is the guy bringing in Hasan Piker. So Asan Pike is one of their big influencers, if not the biggest. He routinely lionizes Hamas, says how much better they are than the average Israeli. And he did say, we deserved what happened on 9-11. And yet he's offered now this huge influencer, much in demand, to do a stream with this Chris Rab guy that the Inquirer has endorsed. So the obvious stuff is where are particularly the Jewish groups? And will they vote for this guy? Yeah, I think he's got a really good chance of winning and being a new congressman from this area. A stone called anti-Israel, anti-Semitic, using the services of the guy who is much in demand. And even your average Democrat and liberal is wary of this guy. In other words, if Hasan Piker is seen as a major face of the Democrat Party, which he's becoming, there's no way they can masquerade as moderates. The gloves are off. And the more than he's out there, think Zohran Mamdani and think of more vicious or hateful than Zohran Mamdani, particularly on the Israeli stuff and all that. And we deserve what happened on 9-11. If that doesn't disqualify you. from being part of winning this congressional seat, Philadelphia Inquirer. What does? Maybe an editorial on that, telling your readers the hatred you have for Israel. All right, 855, 839, 12, 10, you get a line. Let's go to Phil in Delaware. Phil. You're on Talk Radio 1210. Hi, Phil. Hey, good afternoon, and happy New Year to you. Well, thank you, Phil. I just, for the life of me, I think I've counted like 22 elected officials that have come out specifically said, I don't like America and I hate Israel and support Iran. How do they stay in office? Aren't there some statutes that they can just be taken out?

44:14

No, Phil, it would have to be some treasonous act. They'd have to commit an act that would be treasonous. Well, they're in office because either people don't know what you know, listening to Talk Radio, or they agree with them. I mean, there's widespread support that one race I just talked about that's anti-Semitic. That's the way it is in that part of Philadelphia. But if you say we deserve 9-11, I mean, come on. That's crazy. That's nothing. Remember the Jeremiah Wright talking about the chickens coming home to roost? Well, this guy is a more hateful Reverend Jeremiah Wright. Ah, good point. Who's your side, Phil? Who's your side? Roadrunner and coyote. And the wild thing is, coyotes are faster than roadrunners. So it's really cute how they... Got them changed over. That's a good point, yeah. The coyote might be able to, on paper, beat him. All right, coming up, Henry's breakdown, even though he didn't agree to this yet, if he pooh-poos it, then I'm shocked. I don't know if it's artificial or not. But we have Laura Ingraham throwing a football. Her back is turned to the receiver, and then she turns and fires it. I think it's authentic, but it is stunning. YouTube.com slash 1210. We'll break that down because, wow, it's hard for me to believe. I know I can't throw a ball like that. Well, maybe. I can't. Can I out throw Laura Ingram? Let's see at Mulligan's. Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. All right, Laura, get over to Mulligans. I want to see in person for you got to see this. And we'll get that breakdown of the forum on this. I mean, she really doesn't throw it on a line, but she reaches. A pretty good distance. I intentionally did not count the yards. I might take a look and see if I can give you a guesstimate. I'm sure Henry is calculating it. Now, we have that. And 855, 839, 12, 10 hit us with that all-time rivalry. Okay? We're waiting to see what the White House does. It is completely unclear. If I had to guess, we're not going to see JD Vance headed to Islamabom. They're not going to send him. if the Iranians are not going to show up. So we're at that point again, does Trump say, will continue to ceasefire? And Chris Murphy being scalded even more than I thought he would be. They're not buying that sarcasm thing to say, awesome. They got 26 ships through. We let those ships through because they were headed to Iranian ports. They're not getting out of those ports. Apparently, the senator didn't know that. 855, 839, 1210. Domjiudano, weekdays, noon till 3, from Talk Radio 1210, WPHD. Tom Giordano on Talk Radio 1210, WPHT. All right, YouTube.com slash 1210 WPHT. We'll break down. Laura Ingram throwing a football. Is it AI or the Chinese behind it with Henry in a second? A couple of things.

47:30

Mike Gibson, great answer on Twitter, all-time rivals, tastes great, less filling. Ah, the spin, the back and forth out of those ads was tremendous. And notice, watch for this today, the media now turning on Alan Dershowitz and calling him when they announced that Alan Dershowitz, who we should have on today or tomorrow, I would hope, has registered now. First time in 67 years he's registered as a Democrat. He just registered as a Republican. They bill him, though, as Jeffrey Epstein's lawyer. Now, he was Jeffrey Epstein's lawyer. But as he assured me on the show, if you remember, I always kept my trousers on. Trousers, he actually said, okay. An antiquated term. I mean, what's your difference between trousers and pants? There's got to be some difference there. But less filling tastes great. Alan Dershowitz, 67 years now, a Democrat, now a Republican, registered Republican. All right? I didn't see the rationale here other than this announcement that was made. Oh, here it is. I'm a lifelong Democrat. I started campaigning for the party's local candidates as a teenager in Brooklyn, have been a registered Democrat for 67 years, made speeches for JFK as a college student. can count on one hand the number of Republicans I've ever supported for any office. Yet I've decided to bite the bullet and register as a Republican. He went on to say that while he strongly opposed the Republican Party's policies on abortion, Health care tax is another major issues. The Democrat Party was no longer sufficiently supportive of Israel and would therefore not be receiving his vote. Citing a recent vote for weapons embargo against Israel that got the support of all but seven Senate Democrats, a poll showing a growing opposition to Israel among Democrats of all ages. I claim the Democrat Party have become the most anti-Israel party in U.S. history. So I intend to work hard to prevent the Democrats from gaining control of the House and the Senate. I will contribute money to Republican candidates, campaign for them, make speeches, and urge pro-Israel supporters. And you know what this gets at? This gets at one of those age-old questions that is, well, we'll see what Dershowitz does. How many years have you heard people in talk radio say, I don't get it. There is rampant anti-Semitism, anti-Israel. How could anyone Jewish continue to vote for these people? What is it that has them continuing to stick with the Democrat Party? Well, it took Dershowitz 67 years. I mean, these things are not easy. It's you grow up with a certain thing. and making that change for whatever reason to happen while your parents wear one or the other. It's like in Philadelphia. What does it take? You know, so I've often said we have less chance of a Republican mayor in Philadelphia than you name it. What other unlikely event is out there? The whole Billy the kid thing, right? What does it take? Well, with Dershowitz, he's telling you that's what it took. It's pretty obvious to him.

51:06

And even though he's not in sync on some of these policies, it's so overwhelming. It's so obvious what they're about. How could someone Jewish support this? Why would they continue to do that? And there are any number of people that are prominent that are Jewish in the Democrat Party, they could have an impact. Let's see what happens with him. All right. Now, to Laura Ingram, YouTube.com slash 1210. We're rolling you now. Her back is to it. Is there any sound? I think she's talking a little bit in begin. Here's Laura Engram. Saturday, date night, movies, dinner. We want to do drills. Go. All right. It's short. So, Henry, it's at least 32 to 35 yards, right? It's always 20. Oh, it's more than 20. No, she's standing at the 30. She doesn't do about the 50. I see it a little bit. I got to watch that and work as a brooder film that. So is it real? Yeah, oh, totally. She launched it. Yeah, she's got a good spiral. I'll give her that much. Yeah, exactly. Well, I don't know too many females. I think she's about 62 or 61 or 62, somewhere in there, throwing a ball like that, hitting the guy relatively. Oh, yeah, she hits him in stride, too. Yeah, that's pretty remarkable stuff. So let's invite Laura Ingraham. Let's see if she can replicate it with the winds down there at Mulligans. Yeah, that is, and I just came out of nowhere. I don't, you know, just a grip on the, she had a run up and all, of course. Yeah, she's a little spin. She spun the wrong way, but that's okay. But it's pretty amazing. You got to take a look at that, okay? It just shocked me today. All right, so JD Vance is still at the White House. It's about a nine hour, nine and a half hour flight, even with Air Force two. to get to Islamabad. It's not around the corner. I mean, you go there and you've got to come home the same thing. Oh, my God. So it doesn't look like he's attending anytime soon. So we're at another stalemate with the ceasefire coming down. Does Trump fire away a little bit more, but not a whole hog here to send a message? I don't think the Iranians are going to get that message. 855, 839, 12, 10, you get a line. This will continue in some way, shape, or form it looks like for the next X number of days. All right, let me add one other thing to this. And I'll tell you, I'm a bit conflicted on it. Usually I know which way I'm going to go. Here's Rand Paul. And I know where Rand Paul is on stuff like this. We have this, this is cut 16. And I'm thinking of Alan Dershowitz. Alan Gershowitz is the ultimate libertarian, the ultimate, you know, we're going to push back on government, but he believes in FISA, the FISA court. And there's a reason why we have the FISA court. And I'm not going to be a hack and just tell you as a knee jerk. It's obvious that we ought to just get rid of this. All it does is spy on American, particularly Trump, all right? I get that.

54:37

But there's a rationale why we have this. And what's going on now is that Save America Act, there can be a deal here. Okay, you want Pfizer, you want it to continue. You're going to have to attack the Save America Act onto it. If you won't do that, then you're not getting it. Here's what Rand Paul said, though. He's, of course, against any of this subterranean government. Here's Rand Paul. Cut 16. Trump is signing a short-term extension of the key surveillance law of FISA, delaying the expiration until April 30th. This gives the lawmakers, you and your colleagues, more time to negotiate a longer-term reauthorization as the administration pushes for an 18-month renewal of FISA without reforms, Section 702. Senator, I know you're demanding an amendment related to warrants in exchange for a time agreement. Tell us more. Explain to our audience the issues here. Well, you know, I agree with President Trump, who in 2024 said we had to kill FISA, that he was spied on. His campaign was spied on by American intelligence. Absolutely, we should not let a foreign intelligence service, FISA. We shouldn't let them spy on Americans. So what I'm asking for is this. Right now we spy on foreigners without any kind of warrant. We just gather up everything. We gather up sometimes every cell phone information in an entire country in Europe sometimes. That's foreigners. They aren't Americans. The Constitution doesn't apply over there. But what happens is if I talk to you and you talk to your reporter in the Middle East and your reporter in the Middle East has a source in the Arab world whose cousin is with Hamas, all of a sudden your conversation, my conversation, it's all caught up in FISA. And they should not be able to investigate a journalist for your contacts, but they shouldn't be able to investigate me because I talk to a journalist. So I'm not for... allowing them to look at Americans' conversations or metadata without a warrant. Now, if you get a warrant, I would only use that information. to stop terrorism or immediate threats. If somebody is talking to somebody who's talking to somebody and they mentioned, oh, you know, I brought some paint home from the office and didn't write it all, you know, I wrote it off even though I used it at home, which is a tax violation, but someone said this in private conversation. You found it without a warrant. We shouldn't be prosecuting people for tax crime out of the FISA database. Should only be about terrorism, only about stopping terrorism, and only really about foreigners. So my amendment says you have to require to get an amendment. to search an American if they want to investigate President Trump like they did, they'd have to have a warrant, but then they could never be used for domestic crime only to stop imminent attacks and terrorism. Oh, that makes sense. Senator, it's great to have... All right. Now, Rand Paul did a good job there. I'm not sure if I'm buying that's exactly what's here, though. It's all in the details, and the details of this are always a battle. But if it is, as he said right there, what he would do. That's sufficient to me. That's okay. I could see that working. That might be the good compromise. I don't think this bill has it in the House. And, you know, we've always rightfully so. And Trump's just one example. It shouldn't just be about Trump. But it's a good example of exactly what they did. And Paul made a good point there at the end. But at times, it seems like there are some that just say, just let's get rid of all this. Why do we need this? We're just spying on Americans. I think what he said is reasonable.

58:06

That's something that would work. Now, again, Alan Dershowitz has talked about, if I get him on about changing parties, which I hope to do, I'll ask him about this. And he's been sort of on that page, but saying that, you know, we need checks and balances in here. And we should have the ability to do this and go after people if we have to. But what happened with Trump? They were able to do this. They wronged a lot of people. So there does need to be reform here. And remember, this is a major thing. And we're relying on the credibility of X number of people. Who's credible here? Well, Ryan Paul at times can go too far on this stuff. You know that. So I take that into account. But based upon what he said there, I think Mike Lee is the guy I would look at who's knowledgeable, smart, not quite where Rand goes is a better source. And I think he's on board with that. 855, 839, 12, 10. But this is the type of stuff that we don't know about and as Americans really can make things difficult as we've seen play out here. All right. I'm coming to you. All time rivalries. Ah, I see some really good ones here. And remember, a rivalry is only as good as both parties being on the same level. And that's the thing that the hatred of Dallas for a long time, the Eagles weren't as good, not nearly as good. And now it's pretty clear, maybe the gap is closed a little bit, that the Eagles were superior to Dallas. When you don't have, then you're just going on the embers of the rivalry. You need two heavyweights. taking each other on. That's why I wanted, not Joe Biden and Trump, I wanted Hillary to come in. I went Hillary and Trump three or two or whatever. You know you wanted, when they did that walking around in 2016 and Hillary looked up and Trump was walking right behind her. The walk-around debate, that's the debate. That's what you need. Because then they might say anything. They forget that they're in the middle of a debate. They're not as cautious. Not only that. Why do I always say debates ought to be long? I want people worn down. I believe in stamina to be president. But more importantly, you get worn down, you say stuff that you're really thinking. You give it up. They get a little bit tired. They get a question thrown in there. And they reveal where they really are. If they're all buttoned up and it's short and all that, they could say anything and get away with it. All right, 855, 839, 1210. I'm Giordano on Talk Radio 1210. WPHT. Hey, Henry, you have enough knowledge. Mike Vrable has finally spoken. If you see any highlight, that's all we're looking for. It's kind of lengthy. Seems to be admitting. Something went on here because of the fact that the head coach of the New England Patriots, Diane Rossini, at least the little clips I saw on Twitter saying how to speak to family and friends and make amends there and then the players, et cetera. So I'm not sure what he eventually said he did or did not do, but that will be kind of interesting because of the spot that it puts her in.

1:01:37

And we talked about simple things that I've seen, like women in the male in the men's locker room. You know, it's their job to get the quote right then. That's when they're going to talk. But guys are walking around naked, et cetera. You get all kinds of, well, I wanted to revisit something with this, have some fun with it too, because people came after me on it. The Rossini thing and the connection of an attractive female. with a guy in this profession versus males. Everybody uses what's to their advantage. You know, if I'm trying to get a guest on, I try to put in points of X, Y, and Z. Hey, remember, you know, and a female, I'm sure. How far does it go? Remember old Mike Pence as vice president? And I came down hard on the side. saying, this is ridiculous. He would not meet with a female alone or even have lunch with them in a public space. Well, how in the world are you supposed to get close to the boss to share your ideas to bond with them if you can't do that? So, you know, this is all part of females in the workplace in sensitive, different careers, different ways. And Henry's cooking up there, Vribal, it's just ended speaking, I think. Yeah, you want to hear a statement? Yeah, is this, he's saying it? This is his press conference, yeah. Yeah, okay. Here's Mike Variable, the head coach of the New England Patriots. Now you remember, think Pence in your mind for a second, but remember Diane Rossini, the photos. I think their initial thing was other people were there. Doubtful, but here's what Vraebel said. First begin by saying thank you. Thank you for your patience that you've shown in a personal and private matter for me and obviously everybody involved. I know that that's not easy for you and I respect that and I appreciate your efforts in doing so. I understand I could have addressed you guys sooner, but it was important to me to have a conversation with the players, which I did yesterday, very candidly, as we began our off-season program, which everyone is excited to be a part of. Stacey had mentioned the players' availability, and it was never my intention to have them speak to you or address you before I did. And so I asked him to come today and to talk with you. You know, I also don't want to take away from our, you know, the draft, the weekend of the draft. This is an important time for us. Our organization and the excitement and the joy that those players are going to have that we bring onto our football team. They're starting an amazing journey, one that should be celebrated as we welcome them onto our team. With that being said, You know, I've had some difficult conversations with people that I care about, with my family, the organization, the coaches, the players, those have been positive and productive. We believe in order to be successful on and off the field, you have to make good decisions. That includes me, that starts with me. We never want our actions to negatively affect the team. We never want to be the cause of the distraction.

1:05:06

Those are comments and questions that I've answered for the team and with the team. We'll keep those private and to ourselves. I care deeply about this football team and excited to coach them. I also know that I'm going to attack each day with humility and focus. And what I can promise you is that my family, this organization, the team, the staff, the coaches, everybody, are fans, most importantly. we'll get the best version of you going forward. And that's what I know. And I'm excited to do that. But I wanted to want to just address this. And thank you for your patience in dealing with the private and personal matter. Oh, my God. Give me a break. My God, this guy ought to run right now for the senator president. This is ridiculous. Were there any follow-up questions? No, it's a private and personal matter. I'll look into it, but yeah. It's better not to say anything than to do this endless preamble. So it's not a denial of anything. Or even, I thought he was going to pivot. Okay, he was going to pivot to, you know what, this looks bad. We've got to do better. Nothing happened here. But I get it. You got to be like Caesar's wife. in this whole thing. All right. So if we have anything where he fully addresses, here's the thing, the whole thing of women in the workplace, particularly sports, but politics. Remember this with Mike Pence? Now, I know some got on their high horse. They came charging in and said, that's exactly right. You shouldn't be alone with a woman who works with you. I think Pence even said something, even like a public lunch. You know, you're out at a restaurant or something like that. Well, how in the world are they going to get a connection? Well, it's based upon your work. Oh, yes, please. It's partly on that. But it's a personal connection with the person in charge, in that case, the vice president. So I'd make the case for women in that. I just think the locker room, I've seen it up close, you know, is a difficult. I told you the one thing we're in the Phillies locker room. And a guy just comes in from pitching, just drops everything. The woman's like six inches away, just walks in a shower in front of it. That's not professionalism. It's stupid. The whole thing. You know, it's got to be a better way of doing something. But I get it. You want to get the intensity right after an NFL game or whatever. You know, wait to these guys get a shower, calm down or whatever. You've got to get that the instant they let themselves be available. So after all this, that's what Mike Vrable comes up with, a long preamble. And then private and personal matter. Well, then don't hold the news conference. You didn't say anything. Like, this didn't happen. How dare you? Or it did happen. It seems to be he's admitting it. And that's it. You know? Also, where does that leave her now? Professionally. Well, you know, she's got to fend for herself. I get that, sort of. But.

1:08:20

That doesn't seem to be fair. Is it more on her? Yeah, it is more on her. She's the, quote, journalist. But we're only dealing with football secrets here. We're not dealing with national defense. So is that that big of a deal? She'll be hired by somebody else, I would assume, pretty soon. But still, people will think, well, that's the only way she gets information versus being dogged. So if you remember Mike Pence, if you remember that whole thing, is that the wisdom to live by? Or is there another way? You know, we've got to be smart about these things. And just because of these two, does that mean women can't go out to lunch with the boss? Michael in Wilmington on Talk Radio 1210. Hey, Michael, do you remember that Pence stuff? I remember because they were coming after me. What do you say? Yeah, I do, Dom. And it's good to talk to my good story. I do remember. I mean, I think if our, you know, memory serves me right. Mike Pence was a devout Catholic. So he never, he was so as straight as a razor blade. He just never wanted to take any chances. I mean, ever. Yeah, well, I'm on the other side of that. How does a woman, you know, people on their high horse, Michael, trying to tell us that it's just about the quality of your work, like we're zombies or robots. It's about. a connection, too, in a professional sense. Yeah, I agree. I think, I mean, for me, I always found Mike Pence, you know, good guy, but to be too conservative, almost to a fall where he just could not break, you know, being the perfect, perfect person, he always portrayed himself to be where he just could have. kind of let his guard down a few times. And just like you said, gotten to know some people better, gotten closer to the administration. I think that would have really helped him along the way. I really do. Yeah, exactly. But, you know, I'm going to. This is a Rable and Rosini thing is a big story. But Weber, the coach just wasted our time. My God, this is worse than in Washington what he just did. Yeah, man, I just, I was listening to that statement. He didn't even, he didn't address anything. He was so neutral, just he talked to the team, talked to his family members, thanked everybody for their patience, but said nothing. I mean, absolutely nothing. So I didn't get much from that at all. Although kind of what I expected, didn't really expect him to divulge too much. Well, yeah, I thought he might have said, if true, well, you know, I realized you've got to be really careful with this stuff, with reporters, et cetera. You really can't be seen in this way. It's fine to have a joke and all, but physical contact, you know, the holding hands thing. Yeah, especially like you said, Domney, when he started by saying, hey, it's all about making good decisions off the field. Well, then why don't you talk about that decision? That was a good or bad decision. Yeah. I thought for sure you were going to say something for sure. Exactly. Exactly. Michael, let me ask you two because, you know, I feel a good connection with you. I would tell you this. I'm not a forgiver on this stuff. I have to admit it. If Roe were Diane Rossini, I just can't find it in my heart. You know, I'm a bad at this. I have to admit it, though. That's it. This is the bond.

1:11:40

And the same goes for me. And I think Roe might be a bit more forgiving, but maybe not. And I don't think I'd be worthy of being forgiven. If you can't keep this bond, I've always had trouble trusting you in a business situation. Yeah, I'm going to, well, I'll give you my straight. I'll give you my straight up with me. If I was married, and I'm not. And my wife. You know, that came out. I would, I mean, I would first trust her because all you have is just a picture. Right. I mean, if that's all I can go off of, I mean, of course, I could speculate further and drive myself down a black hole. But if she's like, Michael, all we did was we were laying by the pool. Oh, no, wait a minute, Michael, come on now, the hot tub. Ah, come on, it's just a hot tub. I had an injury. I'm going to get one. Michael, I'm not so making fun of you. I'm saying the whole thing of how difficult this is. Yeah, it's tough. I mean, now you got me sitting behind this corner, but it's just laying by the pool. I mean, hot stuff. I just, I'd like, hey, why are you holding hands with the guy? That's it. That holding hands thing in the beginning, that, to me, is the same thing. Yeah. Yeah. I just, I just want to, yeah, I mean, just, the whole holding hands is a little, it's a little suspicious. Yeah. It's a little suspicious. Michael, I thank you. Now give me your side. Thank you. No problem. My pleasure, Don. Yeah, my side is I think this is the greatest rivalry ever for every man and woman who was working every day, getting up on vacation, got to take care of the kids. It's the alarm clock versus the snooze button. Great, great call. Thank you, Michael. Thank you. Nicely done. It was only lined by the pool. They were discussing the end around. New England's got a new part they were going. They were discussing the 16th round of the draft. Wait a minute. There is no 16th. I meant six. They don't have a pick in that round. I'm scanning the list right here. It's not there. You're just showing her a new drill. They're going to run in camp this. That's right. This is how you grab onto without getting called for a holding. All right. 855, 839, 12, 10, you can get in. So do you go to Pence way? Is that what we have to? I'd love to hear females in a way. We've got Pat coming up. I'm sure she can answer. In the workplace, how do you get ahead then if you can't have, look, and it is different. for the obvious reasons of stuff of how it looks. But how do you advance if you can't schmooze, if you can't have interaction here versus just here's my work? Give me a grade. All right, 855, 839, 12, 10. You get in. That was a good one, too. That's a real good rivalry. That's what we're looking for. 855, 839, 1210. Tom Giordano on Talk Radio 1210, WPHT. All right, it is Domptime. It's official. Johnny Z says, I can throw it farther than Laura Ingram. He knows the man has studied humans.

1:14:49

On Twitter, he's all behind me out there. All right, we just have to get Laura Ingram to come there. How embarrassing to lose the Laura Ingram. Oh, my goodness. Well, it's not only that you have to throw farther in her, you have to make it look good, too, because it's viral good look good. I don't care if it wobbles out there. You can't be throwing a knuckleball out there. He can be throwing a duck. Come on. All right, Johnny, keep backing me. I need some help here. Also, this Justin. Narbeth, which is famous for banning straws and everything else, is now banning gas-powered leaf blowers. How about banning the leaf blower? A device that I despise and I can lay up and down almost as much as soccer. It goes in my mind with it for some reason. So no gas-powered leaf blowers coming up if you're in Norbeth. Leave them at home. All right, let me go to Barbara and Wildwood here. This whole thing I mentioned with Mike Pence. And look, this workplace stuff with Diane Rossini and women in pro sports in locker rooms, it is different. But Mike Pence just went way too far with this. How would a woman advance in that situation? Let's go to Barbara and Wildwood. She's on Talk Radio 1210. Hey, Barbara. Good morning. Good afternoon, Don. Well, thank you, Barbara, very much. It's a pleasure to call in. I listen to you all the time, but women in business issues just rattle my bones. As an Italian-American woman, growing up in a very male-dominated family environment, I started my business in the 80s. You needed to interact with men on a daily basis. The majority of times they were the buyers and the decision makers. Yeah, exactly. And interacting doesn't mean sitting down and putting a piece of paper in front of them, and this is the best bid. It means, and I know you, Barbara, exactly, you're a great schmoozer. It means doing that. It's the... form of networking that's been going on for ages. And the women, after the, what's it, madmen error, which I really didn't follow those shows, because I lived those errors, I remember, you know, smoking and just everything away, news people work and advertising people. And it took a long time for women to get recognized. I walked into my first Chamber of Commerce meeting as a board member. There were 36 guys on that board, only two women. Two, I had to walk in there as a late 20-year-old and try to be even with them and not have a thing about calling the mister or whatever and putting my hand out first to shake their hand. We broke that barrier. We're done that.

1:17:56

I don't need to get ground up over this. Oh, my God. I can't believe I'm doing this. Well, thank you, Barbara. I'll talk with you soon. Rousseauau. Thank you, Barbara, very much. Pat in Lehigh Valley. Pat, good afternoon. Hi. Hey, thank you for taking my call. Yeah, I had an incident in a locker room. Princeton, they had a field house. They had a track meet for all men. I was playing tennis. I had to go to the bathroom. Finally, I ended up in my bathroom. But being interviewing naked men in their, when they deserve to be there. I mean, like, that's for a guy. They will relate more with men than women. You know, I just... Yeah, but then how does a woman, see, I, you know, I put some of it on the males, too. Come on, do you really... I mean, this guy in the Phillies, I forget it was a backup catcher to a backup, just drops everything right in front of her. I mean, come on. Some politeness here. I say that's stupid, you know, but actually, he should... I don't think women belong in in a locker room after a game. I honestly don't. Well, how are they going to advance then, Pat? They got to get these guys when they're willing to spill her guts. You know what I mean? Well, there's a lady, Linda Cohn, and she's smart. You do it. I mean, like, they relate to you, but not in the locker room. You know, I mean, like, they get to people. I know that, I don't know this personally, but I do believe that a pro will not do that with someone who knows what they're doing. Not how do you feel after the game? I mean, like, I'll be honest, there's a lot of women announcers that don't belong there. It's stupid. How do you feel, you know, like, it's stupid. Well, you're hitting the other thing. Why Racini is so important now all women that are in that field, you know, it's the thing is going to be on them because of what she may have done here. It creates difficulty for women. Well, it does. It does. Honestly, for me, I don't think that women belong in the locker room ever, ever, ever. I gotcha. Well, Pat, what's your side today? Okay. It's Snoopy and the Red Baron. You know, I mean, like there's songs about them. You know, I mean, like it's a constant rivalry and everybody knows Snoopy. Everybody. Absolutely. Thank you, Pat. Usually, Pat, just gives us her side. So I'm glad to hear her three times. They don't belong in the locker. Ah. You know, I'm telling you, it was awkward enough for me. We wanted to fill these things. So I sat down in who's the outfielder's. Rollabon. Yeah, chair. I didn't know it, but I was interviewing somebody else. And I couldn't stand over top of them. I had to sit. Oh, man. I made sure I dusted off the chair and did not must anything up.

1:21:05

And I just remember Joe Blant finishing the last bite of cereal and then everybody was able to come in. We're gathered around a big table and clear water at the breakfast room. That's probably the most awkward diver. I was more at home interviewing Metallica than that. Metallica is not superstitious. I know. If I had to do that again, I'd have to get one of those hats. You know, I mean, I'd have to. Probably sunglasses on the inside, you know. All right. Coming up, progressive women gone wild. And we're talking about Mike Brable finally issuing a statement. This guy belongs in Washington. And the reaction, why is this story so big? We're going through some of the reasons why it's big. And do you remember the Mike Pence dictum first time around? He wasn't going to be seen alone with, you know, chief of staff even. Well, that to me is just way too far. Now, maybe he could do it. But in the workplace, I don't know if that's the way that it goes. How about you? What's your – and I love to hear from more women on this. Thank you, Barbara. Thank you, too. Liz. Thanks for the calls on that. A pat, 855-839, 1210. Progressive women gone wild. We got a great one today on Talk Radio 1210. Dom Giordano on Talk Radio 1210, WPHD. For this year, get any fucking whew?

1:22:49

Progressive women. Your words are garbage and you're a bad person at this point. Gone wild. All right, today, Whoopi Goldberg, Progressive Women Gone Wild. The whole crew has a bit in on this, but particularly Whoopi. And Whoopi insists she knows they're going to draft you because of what's going on in Iran. Up to the age of 42. You are going to be drafted. Here's Whoopie. Keep in mind, the Iranian regime is the biggest state sponsor of terrorism. 10 years from now, 20 years from now, they may try to strike the homeland. They may try to strike troops in the region. This doesn't go away just because you sign a piece of paper. None of it goes away. And that's why they are planning on a draft. They're planning on a draft. And you're bitching in a moment that there are women who are part of the Army Navy and you're getting rid of people and you talk about who shouldn't be. What the hell are you people doing? In what it is, is they're changing that you no longer are, you have to opt, you just have to opt into the draft. Now it makes it automatic. It's a draft. I'm sorry, it's a draft. Because if you are 18 to 25, they're looking at you. Well, they're increasing that age, too. How old is it? I think it's 42. Mm-hmm. Ooh. Why don't we make it age? I just made it. I'm just kidding. Let's make it 80 and see how he feels about it. Well, here's. Well, he has sores, right? He has bones purrs. All right, so remember, they're coming after you. There's going to be a draft. Whoopi knows. Let's go to Joe of Exten here on Talk Radio 1210. Hey, Joe. Yes, hello. Good afternoon. Afternoon, Joe. One of the most pervasive and self-evident example of rivalry. is that posed by theologies, which are spinoff of Catholicism. For example, Lutheranism, Calvinism, Anglicism, Methodism, and so on and so forth. All right, Joe, that's pretty big rivalry. Yeah, when you put 99 points, I don't know why Luther stopped with the 99. It was a nice round number. He didn't go to 100. Yeah, it should have been 100. People would have paid attention to that. All righty, 855, 839, 12, 10, you get on board. Now, today, speaking of religion, how's that for a segue? President Trump is going to read a Bible verse from the Oval Office. Yeah, this is, I think it's pre-recorded. But President Trump will participate in a public Bible reading going on this week. The event is America reads the Bible. It will be during the 6 p.m. Eastern hour, I think it's taped. This is a week-long reading, particularly notable, says this report given the recent back and forth with Pope Leo.

1:26:00

In a pre-recorded video, I will read a passage from the Bible, frequently quoted verse 14, if my people which are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. All right, of course, the choice of this. has been connected to January 6th by the other side. Somebody read that there. And already, the other side, CNN saying, this is a justification of calling upon God to bless their nation. Well, I've been really clear about this with the Iranian war. Pete Hegseth is not equipped to be calling upon God in the appropriate way, in my view. Probably yours too, I think, if you admit it. But do I think God is on our side in taking out this menace? And I've answered that many times we've talked about this. Yes, God is on our side. This is the appropriate response, whatever the Pope says. that this is a just war. Now, it doesn't mean every action. It could mean some action coming up, something they do, is not within the bounds. By the way, we've all seen, right, you've seen by now that Israeli soldier, for some reason, I believe it was in Lebanon, attack and knock over a Christian statue. Israel has given him a 30-day jail sentence to that soldier. Bang. That only happened recently. Bang. Exactly on point. You know, what would happen with other nations or other situations? Nothing. They get a parade. So today, in the context of this war, And the idea of the morality of it. President Trump reads that Bible quote from the Oval Office. All right, coming up, we developed, by the way, it's going to be a spectacle, the nerd prom this coming Saturday, the White House Correspondents Dinner, President Trump is going to be there and 292 of these Sam Donaldson and Dan Rather and others saying everybody in the room ought to stand up that Trump. He's there. They ought to go after him. I remember when Don Imus did that to Bill Clinton with Hillary Clinton there. Now, a lot of things about Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton certainly, but I'm telling you as a guy watching that, if he had gone after Imus there, I would completely support it. This is supposed to be a time of... coming together, you know, a little humor, pushback, that kind of thing. I know it's not. It's a nerd prom. I don't like these people in the nonsense. They self-importance. For some reason, no, President Trump is going this year. And so is Brendan Carr.

1:29:07

The head of the FCC, he's going to be at the Paramount table. And Pete Hegseth is going to be there. Oh, man. I can see Pete Hegseth getting up against some shrimp or something bumping into one of those clowns from MSNBC. Oh, my goodness. But I want to tell you what happened in Vegas with the NFL and the FCC. It's not just Brendan Carr. I'll give you that next. And this is exactly where Republicans ought to go. People think, and they're right, there's a monopoly out there that gets away with murder and advanced ticket prices, and you've got to go through hoops just to see a football game. I'll tell you what they said in Vegas, and it wasn't car. It was another one of the commissioners. We got Dom's Money Melody. Oh, my God, I'm sorry. I forgot. We got Fred Herring coming up, too. Yeah, I want to break down a lot with Fred Herron. Here's how you get in. And come on, we need more women callers here. The Mike Pence rule. Isn't that extreme? The variable rule is I didn't do it. It's a private matter if I did it. 8-5. All they're working down the hall is, will that mean that will lose the Eagles wide receiver to them or not? How does it get into that? And it might, in some ways, given Racini's reporting. Yes, she was the lead reporter on a lot of these things. She was the lead reporter. You can't trust. Fake news. Fake news. 855. 839, 1210. Domjiudan, weekdays noon till 3. From Talk Radio 1210, WPHD. On Talk Radio 1210, WPHT. All right, it is Dom time, 855-839-1210. That's how you get them. We've got two things. Boy, this Mike Vrabble stuff, Diane Rossini, and women in the workplace. Great calls. Keep them coming. Remember the Mike Pence rule, which maybe people realize I was more right on that than they think. And tip of the hat to Michael going back and forth with me in Wilmington. We finally have an independent report on what went on in Quaker Town with that mob of kids coming out, told not to go out by the school and the whole thing. Remember all that way back when with ICE? And ICE in the news I told you yesterday, the insurance in Pennsylvania for counties because so many more... like Butler and these others have joined up with that program with ICE. And we have one of the guys who was the face of the efficacy of doing that. Fred Herron with us momentarily. These police chiefs in Bucks County's report. exonerated the police in this. They did make recommendations that we'll talk about, and potentially they said they could have gone even further and used. Henry saw this yesterday, tasers or something spray, you know, pepper spray, I guess, because of what was going on here.

1:32:07

Let's go to Fred Heron, former sheriff out there in Bucks County, now freelancing with all kinds of things. Perfect for this with law enforcement issues. Hey, Fred, welcome in. Thanks for joining us. Of course, Tom. Thanks for having me again. Well, you know these guys, I'm assuming, and I have a cop friend, a pretty highly place, who said the guy who authored the report has worked with him for umpteen years and is by the book. Can't come on because there's some legal issues still existing there, maybe. But you're outside that loop now, so you can comment freely, Fred. What did you think of the independent report? Yeah, I think they were right on. You know, certainly they were, I had more access to information than I did. I mean, I had some access and I saw what everybody else saw, but I kind of had a thought unless there was an oh my God gotcha moment, which I didn't believe existed. And I also know, Scott, the police chief pretty darn well, you know, and just know what kind of guy he is. But I know who you're talking about. And that guy is 100% straight shooter. There's no doubt in my mind. uh he's a straight shooter uh as all the other chiefs so i see some of the comments that are coming out now at which i of course you expect it you know you don't think everybody's okay that that's fine we agree of course these folks that are are against uh quaker town police and against what happened are you know you could show them whatever you want they're not going to believe it um and and as you had said the report's correct that They could have went a little further, and they didn't, the police officers. I think from what I saw, they used incredible restraint. And, you know, what people are seeing to forgetting, the injuries to the police chief, you know, if he was not even a police, let's say, you know, they're saying, oh, we didn't see identification. It still doesn't justify the assault that happened to him with broken bones and a punctured lung and everything else. So, you know, take that police position out of the equation, which you shouldn't. But let's just say for giggles, you want to take it out of the equation. It's still aggravated assault on a person, you know, for the damage that was done to him. And everybody seems to be forgetting that. You know, at the end of the day, these kids should have been in school learning and not been on the streets fighting. And if they want to protest, you know, do it peacefully on the sidewalk with signs or whatever you want to do. You want to have a megaphone. Whatever you want to do, knock yourself out. But when you become violent and you become destructive, that's when there's a problem. Fred, the delay now with the DA, you know, who I'm on the other side from, and you ran against his colleague. That was the race, is just out of bounds at this point. I mean, this independent report, he has the video. This is a major thing that should be decided by now. I don't know how many weeks even it's been. It's been a long time. I agree. And, you know, the DA does not do an investigation into police use of force and violating police practices. That's not the DA's job. The DA's job is determined whether or not criminal activity on the part of the actors or the part of, you know, the police occurred, which I certainly do not believe that's the case. I think, you know, the DA is in a tough spot here. You know, he's got, you know, his first major decision regarding law enforcement.

1:35:31

that should be totally clear with no charges. And he's got his hard left base, which wants, you know, wants somebody's head on a stick. So he's, you know, he's hit a tough spot. But, you know, you run for a big boy seat. These are the decisions you have to make. So I certainly understand where, you know, the spot he's in, not don't really care, but that's the spot he's in. It's crystal clear to me, you know, what the outcome should be. Again, these kids, you know, if you commit simple assault on a police officer, it becomes aggravated assault. But take that out of the equation, like I said earlier, Dom, you know, the fact of the injuries is, you know, it's pretty much aggravated assault. And, you know, I don't know if these kids are being held responsible. See charges are being dropped and things of that nature, which shouldn't be. But, you know, that's not my call. But, you know, I think as far as police procedure. The group made some recommendations, which are good recommendations. But I think this thing unfolded pretty quickly. And, you know, we're just, this is not stuff that happens to us in the suburbs. The problem is that the cities are now encroaching on the suburbs. You know, as I said, I don't know if it was on your show. Who would have thought two kids from Bucks County would have went to New York City with bombs? You know, but this is what's happening. When you have lack of law and order, this is what you have. And, you know, you're seeing this now in Bucks County. Bucks County was in danger of this happening. And this is when you get people that are soft on crime. This is what happens. Exactly. Now, Fred, to that point, too, a lot of your campaign, I mean, well, really, I don't know, this was about Trump and getting it Trump and I think across the board. But you were the face of in a limited way, I'll say it that way, using ICE to help. get more criminals off the streets and free things up and support that. I saw yesterday and I talked about it that the county, the group that... gives the county insurance now says if you take part in that federal program then there is a much increased added cost and it appears to be just irrational striking back another shot across the bow to say to sheriffs or whoever's commissioners nope if you join up with ice we're going to penalize you yeah You know, it's unbelievable what's going on out there. I mean, this guy, this president could, you know, cure cancer tomorrow and people would be screaming poor cancer. How could you do this to cancer? You know, how can you eradicate cancer? You know, that's so mean to do that. You know, this is for me. And I just had an interview yesterday with a major outlet. And I said to these folks, I said, listen, I stick by what I said months ago. I stick by today. To me, it was a way of getting one more criminal off the street. By no means did I or any other sheriff out there in Pennsylvania saying all criminals are here illegally. That's ridiculous. That's not the case. But if it's one victim in our case in Bucks County, I use that one case that 14-year-old girl got raped in Bucks County, and there's a lot more cases like that. That's not the only one that exists, that if I could prevent it that sexual assault.

1:38:47

That's what we're supposed to be doing. And anybody that argues to the contrary, well, they're lunatics. And, you know, they should be shoved off on an island somewhere because that is the most stupidest thing in the world if someone is arguing. But, you know, the criminal that's here illegally deserves to be here illegally. Not if you're committing crime, you don't. Not if you're committing crime. That's a deal breaker. You know, for you and I... Yeah, go ahead. Go ahead. When I travel aboard, I obey the laws. I mean, I grew up to drive in New York City. So, you know, New York drivers are a little different than the rest of the world. But when I leave this country, you can bet I'm stopping at a yellow light. I mean, because you don't know the laws there. I don't know if that's an incarcerated offense or not. I'm sure it's not. But you obey the laws to the utmost. And these folks are coming here and they're destroying our country, these criminals, the criminal illegal aliens. I've said that again. the criminal illegal aliens. So this thing with the insurance companies, this is just the left trying to do anything they can to stop the, you know, Washington agenda. And it's just insane. I just, I don't, and look what we got in Bucks County. We've got these two, you know, liberal commissioners, you know, that are going to be up in a year. And, you know, one's running for Congress now. I mean, this is a problem. But people got to wake up and see what's going on here. Fred, parting area too. People should know before you were sure if you were in a different branch of law enforcement out there in places like Ben Salem. So this temple situation, surprising to me, they have a big police department. I'm a fan of what they do. But we had a kid chased into the main residence hall. I think it's 1,200 students or so. Nobody there and they wrecked the place and they, you know, hit the kid and attack the kid. It was three o'clock in the morning. Your sense of how difficult it must be to police temple. It's difficult to police anywhere anymore. And certainly there. Look what happened in New York with this sergeant that threw the cooler at this drug dealer that was fleeing a felony. I mean, that sergeant never meant to kill somebody. But he tried to stop him. He didn't know what this guy is a felon fleeing. And he's selling drugs. And he tried to stop him. No one meant for this guy. He could kill. But now, you know, cops, this is what the problem is. Cops have to worry about, you know, being so second-guessed. They have to be responsible for their actions. No one's saying that police do not have to be responsible for their actions. But I have, Dom, when I was in Ben Salem, we had an incident. And I reviewed the tape. With members of the NWACP, by the way, the president in Bucks County, Karen Downer, I designed an open door policy. I didn't make any of these groups file right to no request. You want to come in and review tapes. You're a legitimate organization, which the NWACP is. Come on in. You can see everything. You don't have to get a lawyer. You don't have to do anything. We watched a tape, Dom, has to be a minimum of 20 times. And to this day, I'm still not sure what I saw. And neither were they. So how can I judge?

1:41:58

The police officer doesn't have a rewind. It's not football. You don't have a, you know, playback. Right. They have a split second to make a decision. I watched the tape 20 times, and I wasn't exactly sure what I saw and heard. So people have to understand police are in a tough spot, making tough decisions to protect you. And there's got to be a little leeway. But you know what? You do this to cops and you start incarcerating them for an honest issue, you know, and he used that clue to stop this guy. So, you know, it's going to be harder and harder to police. If we don't change and that pendulum does not swing back, it's going to be harder. And who's going to pay the public? Who's going to pay the price, the public? Our family's going to pay the price. Without a doubt. Now, Fred, where do we find you at this point? Where do we go? Well, I'm hoping in another week or two I'll have some final results of my next journey. Okay. So right now I'm doing consulting work from home working for a couple of companies right now. I'm very close to some new direction. Let me say that. I'm very close to a new direction and I should have an answer within a week or two. But I don't think I'll be a big surprise to anybody, you know. I'll leave it at that. All right. Well, let Henry know. We want to be in on that as soon as Fred Harris is ready to go. Well, Fred, thank you. Thanks as always. We'll catch up soon then. Thanks, Tom. Thank you, Fred. Before we do Money Melody, just one note. Now, I'll get to this. This firefighter who's endorsed to run against Brian McCann... Ryan McKenzie in Lehigh Valley, who has done a really good job in a tough district. You know, it was a fierce fight the last time to win. We had a moment Mike Johnson recently. This firefighter Brooks is endorsed by Bernie Sanders and also Josh Shapiro. Josh Shapiro trying to make him an every man. He's blue coward. He fought fires. He did all this stuff. And on social media now, he's apologizing for being pro police. He talked about the police to the point we're just making as the good guys. Now, I'm going to get Ryan McKenzie back on because this, this is amazing. The guy they picked because he represents middle America, firefighter, all that. You've seen the ads. They're spending a lot. on social media now apologizing for being pro-gun and pro-police. Why would you have to apologize for being pro-police? I'll tell you some of the stuff he said in this. And if you watch local TV at all, in any way, I mean, we've been inundated or I don't know how much you're spending. It's a lot. It's enormous. And it's Josh Shapiro saying the Democrat Party can pretend and masquerade that we're working class, we're middle America, we're reasonable. Well, then why is the guy that's the face? You've seen this now. And I'll invite him to come on. He might be brave enough, Henry. You can ask him. He might be the type of guy. We'll see if he'll come on. Why then say you didn't mean this about cops being the good guys?

1:45:16

Why do that, then? You know exactly why. You can't say that in the Democrat Party. He's got to get his mind right. All right now, first, though, it is time for... It's Dom's Money Melody. All right, today we are playing for a copy of Scott Jennings book, A Revolution of Common Sense, how Donald Trump stormed Washington and fought for Western civilization. Yeah, Dom. So, side question today. We're asking for those old time rivals. Right. No secret that the Rolling Stones... And the Beatles back in the day were rivals, whether that was, you know, kind of made by the media to drum up more record sales or whether or not they really disliked each other. Who's to say? So I'm going to play you here a song by the Rolling Stones. Only it's going to be covered by a band that isn't necessarily rivals with anyone else, but is definitely rivaled within their band between the lead singer and the lead guitarist. Uh, yeah, not, not exactly the best relationship between the two. Uh, back in, uh, 89, uh, they were playing at the Coliseum in L.A. And the, uh, lead singer went to the crowd, said, uh, unless certain people in this band get their stuff together, except I didn't say stuff. This will be the last blank show you'll ever blanking C. Because I'm tired of too many people in this organization. Blanking. Okay. So, yeah, calling out his guitarist there for sure. Right. And then, you know, I'd say about 20 years later, this lead singer said of the guitarist again, personally, I consider blank a cancer and better removed or avoided. And the less anyone ever heard of him or his supporters, the better. And this is the lead singer saying about this, but his own bandmate. So I'm going to play you with this band covering the Rolling Stones here. I want to know the name of this band that has a rivalry between lead singer and lead guitarist. Yeah, I want to know the name of this band, Don. All right, an all-time classic to me. A decent job. That's a hard song to match the originator. Yeah, yeah, very hard. 855, 839, 1210. Hit us with that. You get the Scott Jennings book, and you get the bell for today. 855, 839, 1210. Tom Giordano on Talk Radio 1210, WPHT. It's Dom, Money Melody. That is all the money gone. Show me to money. That is right. All right. Here's a little taste, and let's get your answer. Bandmates do not like each other here, Dom. Well, now they do, but over a while. They really didn't. Let's go to Greg. And how, and hey, Greg, afternoon. What's your answer?

1:48:11

It's just a guess. Oasis. All right. Chef Dave, he's usually on a mark in Oak Wing. Chef Dave, hi. What's your answer? Guns and Roses. All right. Guns and Roses doesn't look so good. Dave, Dave, you're the winner. You get the belt. You get the book today. I saw that recently. Wow. Axel Rose. Yeah, Axelrose, the strong words for Slash. Yeah. Yeah, let's go. And he made that cancer comment too right after Slash's mom had died with a battle of cancer. Oh, well, of course. There we go. Yes. Yeah, very, very, apparently they've been good since 2015, but yeah, some bad blood. Yeah, don't come back from that too easily. All right. So before I take more calls, I mentioned we're talking with Fred Herron. You got this guy Bob Brooks. Now you got to understand. This is not just about defeating Ryan McKenzie and gaining that seat, which is big. This is hotly contested. You know, that's why he had Mike Johnson on with us. But this guy's a retired firefighter who's now running as a Democrat. He has apologized for old social media post. He posted a pro-gun meme featuring Quinn Eastwood. and for defending cops admit the Black Lives Matter protest and riots. He shared the apology with the Washington Post on Monday after the paper reported his social media post had irked local progressives. Of course, he was called out for branding Colin Kaepernick in a post as a beyond a malcontent. And he says, The part that gets me, he's running to replace, as I said, Ryan McKenzie in Allentown, Bethlehem, served as a firefighter for two decades. The Washington Post noted a local blogger criticized Brooks for his Eastwood meme last year, saying you should run as a Republican, libertarian, or anarchist for his pro-second amendment stance. You can't be a Democrat running in this and be pro-second the amendment. We all know that. The blog, Lehigh Ramblings, shared a screenshot of the Eastwood meme from 2019. Okay? Fox Digital also reported that Brooks backed cops in 2020. Shortly, here's the key thing after the George Floyd died. Quote, I guess we have forgotten the good ones wrote about law enforcement. Brooks did. Wanting change within police departments to weed out bad cops is fine. Well, please remember the good ones. Now, I don't know about you, but isn't this what they are? Who they are. The others stink inside. This is who they are. Now, we know they're anti-the-second amendment. All right, that's a gift. All right. And the Kaepernick stuff. Oh, my God. Push back on Kaepernick. But the fact that he wrote, I guess we have forgotten the good ones, to Fred Herron's point here, the cops. Wanting change within police departments to weed out the bad cops is fine. But please remember the good ones. All right. Now, that is where we are. He, um...

1:51:45

They told Fox News that Democrats from every corner of the party are rallying behind him because, quote, he is a blue-cower American who appeals to working-class voters. Now, we'll try to get them on. You've seen the ads. If you're alive, you have a pulse, you watch TV at all. You've seen the ads. They're spending on this. They're determined they're going to bludgeon Ryan McKenzie in this district. They can taste it. And they're sending a message to Piro is all over hugging this guy. Working class. We're working class. We're reclaiming it. And this guy might deep down, I wouldn't vote for this, given that he moves to this part, but deep down, you can tell he might have some feelings here that are appropriate. And I read that line again, I guess we have forgotten the good ones. Talking about law enforcement, wanting change within police departments to weed out the bad cops is fine, but please remember the good ones. Why would you have to apologize? You know why you have to apologize for that. That's who they are. Starting with Josh Shapiro, Bernie Sanders, his backers, and every other one of these. Now, some Democrats, a few. might, off the record, think about endorsing that statement, but they wouldn't say it publicly A, and they would enable the others who you're not going to say that. You're going to rub that out. You can't say something as cotton candy as that. The good ones. And we know that. We know the numbers. We know what police do. Not to the National Democrat Party, not to the locals either. No matter how they pose, no matter how they dance around like Josh Shapiro, you can't say that. So this is their vision of the modern working class union guy. You got to be anti-cop, anti-second amendment, pro Colin Kaepernick, and he's a firefighter. You know, we got to profession, but then the things that I think still go with that, which are patriotism, support of the police, you can't do that. Now, you may have that in your past, wink, wink, but publicly, you better not be saying the good ones. So I don't care about the others. That's the one that I'd like to ask. Now, this guy seems to be a little bit step up to the plate. We'll see if he'd come on. And I'll ask about that again and again and again. Now remember Ryan McKenzie is right next door. We reach him, his congressional district. This is a battle royal. But it's bigger than that. It's Democrats electing this guy and saying we're back, baby, we're back. We are the party of the working class. We are the party of the unions, not Trump. So if I ask the building trades guys, the Johnny Doc guys, they'll be right here, those guys. Give me that statement about cops. Oh, yeah, this guy, I couldn't vote for that. He better renounce that. No, I don't think so. I'd love to get you in on that. 855-839-12-10. Pastor Bill Debblin texted me tagged in and said he wrote an article defending Mike Pence.

1:55:18

on this whole thing. I remember the heat I took, and I thought I was straight down the middle of this. How are women supposed to advance? And all I got were people saying, well, it's just on your work. Really? That's the way that it works. Well, part of your work is networking, likeability, ability to do things for people they do for you, all the things that go into that. That's how people advance. That doesn't mean having sex with them. It just means interaction. I just find this whole thing fascinating. You've got the Pence side. Then you have women standing there as a guy drops his drawers and walks to the shower in front of them. There's got to be some kind of middle ground in between here. I'd love to get a female reporter and say, how do you feel when that happens? It's just part of the job. You know, it's like working with asbestos near you. You put on a special mask. You don't even, it's asbestos related. You got to deal with it. 855, 839, 12, 10, AT&T, and Verizon Wireless. By the way, one note, what a newsday. Southern Poverty Law Center facing criminal investigation from the Department of Justice. It's about time. It's Kerry Irvin. I know you got a lot on your list there, Henry. I love having her on. She's on Fox talking about it. This is a group that calls everybody in the world haters and brings in $100 million a year, whatever it is. And they are the ones that now have a look-see at them. All right, Tom Giordano's show, one of the most interesting little memes on Twitter today, Senator Chris Murphy. jumping up and down like a cheerleader in full Iranian garb and holding up a sign saying, go Iran, go. All right, after he post it, when he believed Shadow Ships, 28 of them got through or something. Awesome. Iranian ships, when they did not. They were allowed to go through to get into an Iranian port, and that's where they're going to not get out of. They're not coming out of that blockade. Amazing stuff.

1:58:48

All right, Alan in Hamilton on Talk Radio 1210. Hey, Alan. What do you have today? 1971, two fighters got $5 million each. First time that ever happened. And by the time the third fight and the thriller in Manila, it was even higher. And that's Ali and Frazier. Yeah, that's in all time. They killed each other. They really took the life out of each other. It's amazing that either one, they shouldn't have fought after that. I mean, that was enough. God, yeah, I don't know how many times they went to the hospital. I don't know after the first one. I know Ali did, and I think Frazier might have two. You just can't get any bigger than that. Frank Sinatra did the photography for the first one. You can imagine Frank Sinatra doing the photography for life or one of those publications. Yeah. Wow. At ringside. Yeah. When you have Sinatra. Yeah. That's pretty big. Who's doing it today? You got there doing that photo shoot. Frankie, get over here, Frank Sinatra. Okay. One other quick thing I mentioned is didn't want to leave. Then I'll take some more calls. This woman, Olivia Trusty. is on the FCC commissioners. We told you about Brendan Carr, the head commissioner, going after the NFL and going, whoa, we looked the other way with these guys. All right. At least be over broadcasts. Let people have the lion's share of games for free. Even though we know there's, you know, all the stuff that goes into it. And now with every streaming thing in the world, so she in Vegas on Monday yesterday. opened up about this at a conference that they're really going to go after this. It's not just a one-off here. And I hope they do. I mean, what the NFL is doing is out of bounds. Now, we're going to see do people go, whoa, whoa, whoa, we love the NFL. Well, we love football. So. Don't mess with them. Are they going to say, you know what, this is ridiculous, what you have to do to watch X number of games, how many streaming services and Christmas, Thanksgiving, and all that stuff. It's going to be an interesting battle. I say it's the right way to go for Republicans. That and ticket master. Same thing. That's affordability. That's stuff that can be changed. We'll see. Robert and Ben Salem, Talk Radio 1210. Hey, Robert. Hey, Dom Henry, good to talk to you guys today. I sent you up against the clock, so I'll get right. I want your comment. What do you think of this in the workplace with women's stuff, Robert? I think that in a nutshell, they just shouldn't have interviews with players that aren't at least semi-dressed. They should have an interview room between the public and the locker room, and that way everybody can go in there without having to worry about the discomfort of. Well, the, you know, interview with somebody with their junk out, you know. Yeah, the only thing is, though, that's when people, you know, if you give them a chance to calm down, you don't get any of the real emotion. That's the thing. Well, I would think if I was a player, I would just, I mean, I'll have my fire when I come out, but let me put my jock strap on, you know? I mean, you know, when some of these guys complained that were self-identified Christians, they kind of get mocked. Like, this is something you're supposed to deal with.

2:02:14

Well, I know. It's just more blurring the lines, Domit, across the spectrum. And we're just going to have to fight back against that insanity. But my answer to the side question is a rivalry that started in antiquity has mutated and morphed and still goes on today. It started out with them two countries, Turkey and Greece. Okay, they were rivals for the eastern Mediterranean. They were, I mean, the Trojan War, right? And then after that, the Persians took over to Turks, invaded Greece, burned down Athens. Alexander de Grey comes along, conquers Persia, burns down their capital Persepolis. And then it doesn't end there. It keeps going with the Ottomans into the Middle Ages in Europe. Vladian power. It took the Hungarian king and the Holy Roman Empire army to drive them out even back then. And it still continues. The last Ottoman sultanate was not removed from Europe until 1922. Even in the Korean War, they had to keep troops between the Greeks and the Turks to keep them from shooting at each other. And today it has morphed into, unfortunately, a religious thing with Europe and the Muslim Middle East. And it still goes on as far as that goes. We are there now with troops. And it boils down to Turkey and Greece led to the rivalry of East versus West. And I'll leave it there, guys. And I really appreciate the time. And you have a great day, Dob. Thank you, Robert. That's a great one. Well, that guy's on my list, the dictator of Turkey. It's just, once again, they're strategically located. Remember all the way back with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and the missiles and the Soviet Union? They're right there where you want to be. So we've got to put up with a certain amount of nonsense. And I think the Greeks, oh, man, the Greek contingent is rising, hearing the Turks. Do we have any Turks out there? I remember, too, the guy I had on, I was on overnights, Henry, if you can imagine. And I had the guy on, they asked to come on to refute. It was coming up on September 17th, I would have said, anniversary, I think, of the massacre of the Armenians by the Turks, right? This guy and I, it was right out of the box. I mean, I just said, that's it. You're not in Turkey, buddy. And we were off to the races, even though he was to represent the ambassador. Well, diplomatically, I think that's a, I think he said some kind of misconduct. And I said, charge me with it. You're going to have to get Interpol to get me out of the studio. Yeah. the ambassador from Turkey or their representative in Philadelphia on this. And then the Armenians, of course, community said they would put a wall between us. Oh, absolutely. That's a good one by Robert. All right, we've got a lot of great ones coming up. It is the lightning round. Here's how you get in. 855-839-1210. Tom Chiridano on Talk Radio 1210. WPHD.

2:05:22

The time has come for the final test. Ah, we usually call us the lightning rounds. All right, I didn't want to say these as we're doing it, but we're at the end before we get to the lightning round. I'm Gerdano's show. Here are a few Hamilton and Burr. Well, one guy gets assassinated at that duel gets shot to death. That's when you're into a duel, that's a pretty big rival. Yeah, if F.S. gives us to a duel. Yeah, it's on a talk. Yes. Pepsi versus Coke. I never got that because, come on now. How to Pepsi? It might take pain off cars, but it's not matching Coke. Pepsi? So the way I always described that one is Pepsi always wins the sip test. Right. But Coke always wins the drink test. If you have a sip of Pepsi versus a sip of Coke, you know, Pepsi every time because Pepsi's sweeter. Right. But if you do a full glass test to people, they always gravitate towards Coke because it's just a better feel after an entire drink. I have to look at the statistics, but worldwide, Pepsi, there's no way. But that's what Pepsi hangs there. I don't know. We win the ship test every time. I know. But I'm saying sales, it's a trillion versus, you know, a half a million or something. Right. Yeah. And, of course, somebody could have said it and fleshed it out. Gravy versus sauce. All right. Not much of a rivalry if one's always winning. Yeah. We just heard, though, we just heard that from Robert. The Greeks and the Turks. Let's go to Zenos. Hey, Zinos. Good afternoon. Good afternoon, Dom, and Henry and everybody there, and Christos Anesti. I'm going to backtrack a little bit to what Robert said. He was right in the way, but he forgot to mention that the Turks are not indigenous to that part of Turkey. They came there. They came there from Central Asia. The indigenous people in Western Turkey were the Greeks and the eastern part where the Hittites. They came there. And the rivalry, he's right, there is a rivalry. But our rivalry as Greeks, as ancients, was between Persia. Yes, of course. And domestically, it was Athens and Sparta. But we are our common enemy were the foreigners that came in there and which were the Persians. That's the one. And I don't know if I have enough time, Dom, about the... I would not be very forgiven if my wife was holding hands in a hot tub with something. Get out. Whoa. It would have been done. I hear you, Zenos. Michael in Wilmington was wafflington a little bit there, but I'm in the Zenos team on this one. Zinos, what's your side? My side was, you know, with the Persians, with my ancient ancestors as a foreigner, not as a domestic, was the Persians.

2:08:13

rivalry with the Greeks, with all Greeks. Gotcha. Thank you, Zenos. Henry, quick question here, a little field test. If true, and Rabel didn't deny it, something going on there, whatever. Who do we feel? I'm trying to piece this out. Wild in my head. Sorry or for. The husband of the woman or the wife of the guy. Now, sentiment usually would go, the wife of the guy, she's wronged. But I kind of look at this as a guy and how public this is with an NFL head coach in the Super Bowl thing. And I feel for the guy. I feel for whoever didn't hire the private investigator. Oh, okay. Look, where did these pictures come from? Someone was in the bushes somewhere because someone got tipped off that these two would be there, and I want pictures of them. Okay, well, my answer is, right. Or Rossini's husband, maybe. I'm just speculating here. No, I think it's somebody there at the pool and all and saw all this stuff. We're at the hotel. And they contacted the New York Post. They were the ones that did it. Well, they didn't even know who they were taking pictures of. They were just told to go take these pictures and then started shopping them around. Yeah, the New York Post got in there. Right, the New York Post bought the rights to the pictures. They shopped them around for us. All right. I'm on record for tomorrow if this is more, if she says whatever happens, that I feel more for the guy in this. I know that's weird, but that's the way I see it. No? Yeah, I tend to agree with you on that, especially because their marriage is a little more newer. Yeah. It's maybe it's a sexist thing. I don't know. Joe and Columbus, Joe, before we get your side, who do you feel more for the guy or the wife of Brable? The wife. It's got to be the wife. Oh, okay. I knew it was going to be a white. Come watch, Joe. I would feel more for you in this. The guy wronged and so publicly with a guy as a head coach and all. Oh, man. Oh, Dom, I don't know. And Don, the sauce gravy thing was not a rivalry. That was a whitewash. Well, Roe is still smarting. On the domestic front, I have to pretend. You're right. We got killed. I was shocked how bad it was. And, Dom, one other little maybe possible factory, it was highly suspect that the first Frazier-Ali fight was thrown so they could create Frazier Ali two and three. And Frazier did not, they were friends, but Frazier did not, could not grasp Ali's marketing skills, and he took it personal. Wait a minute, when you're called ugly constantly, Joe, that might be a bit much, you know?

2:10:57

True, but I got to believe Ali explain that. You know, hey, we can make some money here. We can work his team. Yeah, I know. But Joe, I would tell you this, as good as Ali was, he's the greatest of all time, I think. I'd rather that than Joe Frazier getting inside and hitting me in the ribs. Oh, my God. Yeah, and I think he should break Ali's jaws. Oh, yeah. Yeah. You don't want that guy coming from a meatpacking plant hitting you up close. No, he was the blue collar after that duo. Yeah. Joe, what's your side? My side, answer, my side, I believe in addition to having its roots in blue legging, I believe it created a whole new, a whole racing circuit beginning on a beach between these two car companies, rival car companies, and that was Chevy and Ford. That is a great one. The Earl of Tacconi. Earl, what's yours today? In the 1960s in Greenwich Village, the folk music scene started. There were two rising stars. One was Phil Oaks and one was Bob Dylan. A folk music started out as protest music, against the Vietnam War, against the government. In fact, Phil Oaks used to get all of his information and inspiration for his songs by reading articles in Newsweek. Well, Bob Dylan started moving toward more pop music and personal music. He played electric guitar at the Newport Music Festival. and they started drifting apart, and at one time, Oakes and Dillon were both traveling in a limo, and Bob Dylan played a new song that he did called Can You Please Craw Out Your Window? And he asked Oaks, oh, what do you think about it? And he said, I don't really think it's as good as your old stuff. And Bob Dylan opened up the car door and threw Oaks out of the limo on Fifth Avenue. And there's debate as to whether the limo was still moving or not at the time. And in the end, it turned out Dylan was right. You had to move to pop music because once the Vietnam War ended, Oaks career ended because there was nothing else to protest. Well, that might have been the hair, too, just saying. But throwing a guy out of a limo in a rivalry. That's a good start. Drew in Upper Darby. Drew, what's yours today? Hey, Dom, thanks a lot, man. About the locker room thing. Real fast, you know, I'm doing the Persian Gulf 4 in 1991, the first one. There was a woman in the New England Patriots locker room, and she was doing a report. And a very large New England Patriot football player walked right by her towards a shower with nothing on. And someone said, she just saw the real Patriot missile. Okay, I got to salvage my answer here because it's outside the box during the Civil War. The English were making ships for the South. And there was a ship called the Alabama. The Alabama was the Bismarck before the Bismarck. It would go around sinking innocent merchant ships. So the Union Navy had a ship called the Kyrsage.

2:14:02

that had to hunt this Alabama ship down and it finally caught up to them. On the coast of French, France, the French Navy sanctioned this duel between the Kyrsage and the Alabama. And there was French citizens on the shore side watching this whole duel where the French Navy sanctioned it and the Kyrsage sunk the Alabama. Nice stop. Boy. Really dragging it. The Oaks and the music all the way to France. All right, Kirk. This was quite a feel today. What did you like? I'm going to go with Michael Wilmington, from Wilmington. Oh, that was a good one. Snoose button. Good guy, too, and taking head abuse on me with the lunch thing and Pence. Come on, Mike. Right. Henry, what do you say? Yeah, I second Michael and Wilmington. Okay. Alarm versus snooze button call. And Earl Ticone, Phil Oaks and Bob Dylan, I mean, doesn't get more heated than, yeah, getting thrown out of the call. Yeah, I got to go Michael Wilmington on the alarm and snooze button. was brilliant stuff. Tomorrow we got several irons in the fire. You can always send me something. Follow me on Twitter at Dom Show 1210 at Dom Show 1210. That is the way to go. Thanks to Kirk and Henry. Thanks to the great calls today. Dawn Fantasia is just spectacular, the stuff that she does. That'll be up on podcast too. So join us again tomorrow every day, noon until three, the afternoon show. is next for three big hours. All this happening right here. Dom Gierdano's show, Talk Radio 1210, WPHT. Domjiudano, Weekdays, noon till 3. From Talk Radio 1210, WPHD.
