It comes back to stale and soggy. Sometimes it comes back toasted. We do have Mark Schweiker. I'm glad he's coming on. Former governor. He's one of the five governors who said to Stacey Garrity, don't be political about Josh Shapiro in protecting him. Oh, my goodness. You know, just spit it out. You got to give him the million dollars for his home. And if he wants to steal the land of his next door neighbor, I guess he can do that too. Stacey Garrity will be here. And Alan Dershowitz here at 1230, why after I think he said 67 years, something like that, that he's been a Democrat, is he registering or has registered as a Republican? All right, we'll get into all that. I think there's, oh, Alonte McCauley around now or shortly before he spoke today, I think. And Henry and I were kidding. Could we get a group of people? And I think he was speaking about Republicans today. who are giving aid in comfort to the Democrats. He didn't like the Dave McCormick, what was, cheese steak diplomacy with Cherell Parker and Fitzpatrick and the stuff that he's done. Look, Dave McCormick's doing a great job. I wouldn't be doing that with the mayor now, though. Wait until after the midterms. By the way, this may be a shot in the dark, but we're proud on this show to bring you stuff. Now, we're in the center of the action. Our own Scott Presler dug up testimony of people that were charged with the drawing the lines for Congressional District 3, which takes up a lot of Philadelphia, takes up wherever we've been talking about, man, Harry, German, all that stuff. that this clearly is an intent to make this an affirmative action district, a minority district by Fiat, just what we talked about with the Supreme Court. So we might have one of them right here. It's arguable anyhow. And Presler is all over it. I mean, he's got a lot of evidence, a lot of stuff on this. And Hakeem Jeffries spit it out yesterday. He said, well, this essentially gets rid of affirmative action. Now, I made this point over the years all the times we've talked about this, that affirmative action has become nothing but quotas. And when Johnson instituted affirmative action, on paper, what it meant was you have to try your best to make people of all races, all demographics, as much as you can, aware of job opening, is aware that you can be hired. Now, that's what I meant on paper. We know Democrats, though, what they wanted it to mean, and that is a quota system, punishing people that are white, and particularly males, because of their race. So, Hakeem Jeffries yesterday said that this voter, the Supreme Court case with Samuel Alito, that essentially now has gotten rid of affirmative action. I wouldn't say it has, but isn't it time? How many years are we going to go past it? Here's what Samuel Alito wrote. First, vast social change has occurred throughout the country and particularly in the South where many suits arise. As the court has recognized, things have changed dramatically in the decades since the passage of the Voter Rights Act. At the time of the act's passage, the nation... still faced nearly a century of entrenched racial discrimination in voting, an insidious and pervasive evil, which had been perpetrated in certain parts of our country through unremitting and ingenious defiance of the Constitution. But the Voter Rights Act led to a great strides in the ensuing decades. Voting tests were abolished. Disparities in voter registration and turnout due to race were erased, and African Americans attained political office in record numbers. You know what Salino is saying there. Democrats will never give it up. They will never give up. They still believe America is essentially a racist country. They're just not going to give that up. And the worst are the white guys who won't give it up. Chris Coons, Senator from Delaware, the Kennedys, why don't they all give up their seats to a woman or a minority? Why do they have to be in power? Why did Joe Biden have to be president? Why did he fight so hard? He should have moved aside for Kamala Harris, right? Now, it's fraudulent. The whole deal is fraudulent. One thing in the heat of everything else coming up, I wanted to mention. And I'm very glad about how much money the Saudis lost. The long, touted, live golf is no longer. And Wall Street Journal says it star players have a painful road back. I wouldn't let them back on the PGA tour. And here's why it's important to us. It's not just a sports story, as you may know.

What they did these wretched Saudis. And look, I get it. We got to deal with them because of oil. What they did was set up this league. Pay billions. They lost $8 billion. It just seems over a short period of time. How do you lose $8 billion? And they were fronting the idea that Saudi Arabia is not a brutal backward dictatorship. That's what they were fronting. It's called sports wash. They've done it with other things. but with big time golf, and then they try to wreck golf. You know, playing rock music as you're teeing off. It's just, just John Cornyn stuff. Shorts. Yeah. I mean, shorts, though. Well, I'm okay with wearing shorts on the PGA tour. If that helps you, if that gave me an edge, I would. But I'm so glad to see some of the worst guys in the sports, in my view, end up behind the eight ball now. I don't know if they get that money, if they've gotten the money or not. But it's what they do, spending a lot of money to try to cover up who they are. They're the ones who bring a bone saw in and kill a guy in their embassy. That's who they are. The world, though, oil, you've got to deal with a lot of stuff. I get it. But I'm so glad to see this fail. All right, we got a great side question today. As I said, Alan Dershowitz coming up. Hasan Piker Day. Oh, here's the thing. Rand Paul out there, and we'll start the clock tomorrow because it's May 1st. We're on a countdown. How many hours would that be starting tomorrow? I think about 240 hours we have. Yeah, 240 hours to bring Anthony Fauci to justice. So Rampal and others today are saying the Justice Department has to indict Anthony Fauci. And we told you yesterday, one of his chief people, his assistant, he's indicted for all these cover-ups, all these emails, all these things they did, essentially to get away from the idea that the Anthony Fauci administration was involved in this gain-of-function stuff with the Chinese in Wuhan. And that's what led to COVID. And maybe it's not amazing. It's amazing to me that with all the damage they did to kids, their learning, adults, their rights, all the stuff that went on, Wolfman Hack here in Pennsylvania, these petty little tyrants, we still have not had a reckoning. And bringing Anthony Fauci to justice, at least an indictment, would help move us toward that. So Rand Paul and others, and Rand Paul. Says he ought to be indicted for lying to Congress, among other things. That has to be, though, by May 11th. That will be the five-year window. And after that, it's pretty much clear he'll be outside that. So if he's not indicted by that day, I guess the end of that day, then at least on the alleged crimes we're talking about, it's over. It could happen. And I think with a lot of listeners, there's still that sense. Why is there never closure? Why does this never happen? So the clock starts tomorrow, 240 hours. I would say I think they're going to indict him. They're probably trying to sweat this guy right now and offer him a deal to give up what Anthony Fauci was actually doing here. And Anthony Fauci's animal cruelty is unbelievable.

This guy just experiments cavalierly, at least when he was in charge on animals in ways that were horrible. You may remember that. We went through all that. So will he be brought to justice? And you have some people saying, oh, what's that going to do is it's going to try to stop this stuff of the damage people cause? And they never fully were brought to justice. That's what it's trying to do. It doesn't matter that it's five years later. That's statute of limitations. All right, we got a great side question that Henry pushed for. And I think I've started to get a few. Let me see if I can couch it for you. And then I'll throw it to Henry and give you his. It's a good example of it. So in the last few days, it's the anniversary of the debut of the new Coke, New Coke. Now, before. We jumped on that to say worst idea ever. Of course, communism won given. It's impossible to beat it, I think. But the new Coke is one of the all-time worst ideas ever. Oh, by the way, idea. And you can hit me throughout the show. Will this be too sexist? Dan and Dawn saying, well, who is more attractive, Malania Trump or Helen Taft? And I'm thinking, is that an actress? I don't know. It's the wife of Taft who got stuck in a bathtub. I looked at a picture. I'm not seeing it. Could we do the top five, the Friday five tomorrow, most attractive first ladies ever? Or maybe wouldn't be sexist at least, I think, the five most attractive presidents ever. That'd be more safe, I feel like. You think so? You're squeamish about the first lady. I just feel like the first lady thing might be more contemporary. Right, yes. Like, I couldn't name, I don't know if I could name five like ones I consider attractive. It's got my head. That's pretty good. All right. Oh, we might do the most five most attractive presidents. We never include Trump in this stuff. One way or another, we're not going to do that. You know, it's too much. It's always about Trump. It's a Trump free zone on that. Yeah. Well, I don't want any spray tans in my top five anyway. I mean, right. I've seen up close. Well, I think that to me, and I go by Roe, who actually saw him in person, Henry, at his height. It's hard to be JFK as the most attractive president ever. Almost everybody. I would put him number one. Maybe we'll do the guys. That will be unless something else comes up. I might have a different one for number one. Who do you say? Well, you want to hold it to the bar? Okay. All right. All right. So you don't want to do the women. I can understand. We'll be accused of all kinds of things. I'd have to do some research here. Okay. Well, you know, I think we should do the guys of the lead. If we want to throw in the women, it wouldn't be Melania for me. I'm not seeing her up close, but Laura Bush would be. I can tell you, without a doubt, in my mind. But Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is going to be hard to beat. I just, I hear all these people, O FDR was a striking man. I've seen a lot. I'm not. Persis of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.? I don't think so. Yeah, probably not. And Bill Clinton didn't look bad. I saw him up close three times. I wouldn't say he's in the top five, though. People in his office thought the same way. Richard Nixon. All right, yeah. All right. So we're looking for today.

Something that was almost perfect, as humanly possible. Coke. People love Coke. And then they screwed it up. They try to change it. Here's something. And people are gone nuts on Twitter in this, even though they're not really changing it, Costco has that dollar 50 hot dog combo thing you get, right? They're just saying instead of soda, because people don't like soda, you can get bottled water instead. And people on Twitter, oh, no, you're fooling with this. I know soon you're going to do something else. Just because they give another option. Yeah. They don't like it. Well, yeah. Look, given in, they take a yard. Yeah. So that's an example, I think. All right, I'll take off. Bud, beers were, or Bud Light, they were, look, not great beer necessarily, but great sellers. And that woman came in and said, they're going to buy our beer no matter why. I can hear her sitting in a boardroom. We're going to stretch this. Bring in Dylan Mulvaney. Can you imagine in the boardroom, Dylan Mulvaney comes in with the pearls and all? What are these guys thinking? All right. So I would say, bud, they haven't ruined baseball, but I don't like it. The designated hitter. Not an improvement on the grand doll game. Now they might say, well. If you don't do that in a modern era, I'd say the pitch clock is an improvement. You know, all that nonsense, grabbing your crotch and your batting gloves and all, it was bad. So I kind of think... Yeah, it works. I think it works. People are doing too much. You've got to adjust the gloves every... Oh, God, they're nervous, yeah. And they had one guy in Cincinnati, I think. He would do this three times up and down with his hat. Oh, yeah. Go to do the whole thing. It's just nuts. If I were an up, get in there, just bad. I mean, there was a pitcher who did the same thing. He's out of the league now because he couldn't do his whole thing anymore, and he'd have to rush his pitches, and then he kept getting shell at game after game. Right. So, yeah. Yeah, and the spitting. You know, I am about the spitting. You got to spit, grab your crotch, do the gloves, do the helmet. Well, if you got a nice chaw, and I don't know if those are legal anymore, but maybe a, maybe a nicotine. You're too pro-spitting. All right, you've got a great one, though, that's a perfect example. Yeah. Of something that has perfection in their screwing with it. And it's part of the reason I push for this question so hard because the ruling came down. I guess not ruling, but the decision came down from the Encibly this week, that they're going to expand. the field of 68 and March Madness to 76. I mean, it was bad enough in 2011 when they went from 64 to 68. And it's like, oh, we'd throw in a few more teams just to, you know, get some more talent, get another round, we'll have a first four. But to add another eight on top of that, and you're going to start conning the mid-major schools that worked so hard to get out of their one-bid league, you know, they get rewarded with a 13 seed. Now they're going to go off to play. 18 and 11 Indiana, you know, in Dayton, Ohio. Like, that stinks for them. I don't mess with perfection. It's, it's one of those things. You had it right. You don't need more money off of it. Keep it the way it is. Exactly. I hope the pushback on this is loud enough to reverse it. And then another one, let's just take off the board. How about an easy one? Godfather 3.

There you go. I'm glad you said it. Yes. Movies. Right. Well, the best movie of all time, I think Godfather 2. Right. And I've been on the other side with Godfather 1. But then you go to the third and you're like, oh, this movie also exists. It's almost like another one I was going to take. How about Speed 2? Cruise control. Exactly. Yep. Yeah, no one cares. No. I can see the guy. Here's what we're going to do. Yeah. All right. So we're looking for something that you think was almost perfect, as perfect as human can be. And then they changed it. Maybe they even, I Coke, they had to change it back right away. What is that person-place thing, whatever it might be? You can say, all right, do you really want to put him? It's not about that. It's about an accounting of what the hell happened here. And it's also pointing with Anthony Fauci back to the thing that. I think the average American, particularly younger, they don't realize China killed us. That's what happened here. Yeah. They're not losing any sleep over what happened with COVID. That's what they're about. And Anthony Fauci was involved in that would gain a function with an unbelievable disease in the Wuhan lab. No, it wasn't the wet market. which is ghastly also. It is almost impossible to believe. By the way, teachers are planning these May Day walkouts nationwide. And the teachers union spokesperson today in Florida said that, of course. They should aid and abet anti-ice walkouts. Again, teachers' unions are the enemy. They're the enemy of parents. They're the enemy of school choice. They're the enemy of trying to prevent indoctrination. Just across the board, it's crazy what they're up to. So tomorrow we'll get into it. May Day walkouts, commie day. That's where we're going. And he gets rid of Jimmy Johnson for Barry Switzer, who Barry didn't even run a team. He was a figurehead.

I started campaigning on the streets of Brooklyn for local candidates when I was 14 years old. And, you know, I went to Democratic conventions. I've been friendly with Bill Clinton and other Democrats over the years. But this is not Bill Clinton's Democratic Party. This is not Franklin Roosevelt's Democratic Party. This is Hasan Piker's Democratic Party. This is Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's Democratic Party. This is a Democratic Party of haters. And people who hate America, hate Jews, hate Israel, hate America's allies. These are people who are rooting for the Iranians to win the war. Tom Friedman writes a piece for the New York Times in which he says, I'm torn between who I want to win the Iran War. Torn, because he doesn't want to strengthen, strengthen. Donald Trump or Benjamin Netanyahu. I mean, there's no choice if I think I didn't like Winston Churchill, so I'm torn between whether the Nazis or the British should win the Second World War. You know, Hasan Piker cannot be welcomed by the Democratic Party. Professor, let me just interrupt and tell you, today is Hasan Piker Day in Philadelphia. I've dubbed it that because the media is in a blackout. He's here. for this wild progressive who might win this congressional seat that's up in philadelphia he's going to be canvassing with him fundraiser etc what what's tell uh you know i i've studied this guy before our listeners what is it that how is it that Hasan Piker can be that far left and be in islamist as alanders how do those two things go together he's not he's not a is a fainer he's a fascist he's a right wing hitler loving fascist He just has discovered that it's the left today that encourage fascism and anti-Semitism. So he's joined that party. Let me expose one other myths. This has nothing to do with the Palestinians. None of these people care about the Palestinians. They don't care about the Uyghurs. They don't care about the people who are dying in Sudan. They don't care about any of the others. They just care about Jews. If Jews are alleged to be the oppressors of the Palestinian people, then they support the Palestinians. But they don't support the Palestinians. These are people who would support Pol Pot's genocide in Cambodia. These are people who would have supported Stalin's genocide. They're not against genocide. They're just against some groups and some people. And if those people commit genocide, well, oh, my God. But if other people commit genocide... It's ignored. So don't take seriously their claims of being human rights activists or anything like that. They're just bigots. They're just bigots. Hitler also claimed to be interested in the human rights of people in all parts of the world and in Germany and in Poland, etc. Nobody believes him and nobody should believe these.

left-wing, so-called progressive fascists. They are fascists. Let me ask you, the people in the Democrat Party, too, either off the record, since you've done this, that are Jewish. How in the world can they be supporting what we're talking about here? Is it just, well, Trump's a bigger threat, so we're going to go along with this, or they're afraid they'll lose their power and stature if they don't? Well, first of all, thank God for Christian and Muslim and non-religious supporters of Israel. Jews are among the biggest problem when it comes to hatred of Israel and hatred of Jews. Let's remember, people forget this fact. 1932, thousands, not tens of thousands, but thousands of Jews voted for Adolf Hitler in Germany. They voted for Mussolini. They voted for Stalin. Jews can be the biggest idiots in the world, self-hating Jews. And so don't take seriously when the Natura Khartar, with their beards and their yarmikas and everything, call for Iran to have a nuclear bomb. That's the crazy part of the Jewish community. Or when Jews who are running now in New York for Kyrrhus don't want to support Israel. What they're doing is reflecting, you know, whatever their own psychological problems are, and they're putting it into a political context. So Jews can be their own worst enemies. Look, the same thing is true within the Catholic religion. There are people who are born as Catholics who turn against Catholicism with a vengeance, and they become the leading, you know, anti-this and anti-that. Jews happen to have more of them than most other groups, but they're just as bad. and I condemn them in the strongest of terms, just because you're a Jew, doesn't excuse you from being an anti-Semite. Professor, reaction to this, too. It's been a bit of time since you've done this. Larry David put out a team to come and see you on Martha's video. What's the reaction of your fellow liberals? You know, people in the Democrat Party. Oh, they hate me. They think I'm a traitor. They think that, you know, I owe them somehow support, even though they've turned against Israel and turned against civil liberties and turned against free speech. Look, the Democratic Party is becoming the enemy of liberty, the enemy of free speech, the enemy of decency, the enemy of American foreign policy. And I will do everything in my power to see that the Republicans maintain control. of the House, the Senate, and the presidency, not because I love every Republican, but because I can't abide by the idea of Elizabeth Warren, becoming chairman of the Senate committee, or Bernie Sanders, another self-hating Jew, becoming a chairman, or Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, or Congresswoman Bush being reelected, or this guy in Michigan being elected to the Senate with the support of Hasan Piker. So thank you for doing something and calling out. Hasan Piker, many Jews don't. And the biggest supporters of Israel today are Christians who understand not only the biblical history of the people of Israel, the state of Israel, but the important alliance, the alliance between the United States and Israel is today more important than the alliance between Great Britain. Yeah, the kings here and the queens here, and they're nice people, and the Trumps are having a good relationship with them when it comes to reliability, though.

Israel is a former reliable allies than Great Britain or France, particularly. Well, my fear, my fear professor is, you know, when Trump's term is up, particularly if we have a Democrat. The media, the TikTok type of stuff going on has so poisoned a younger generation. And by that, I mean, even people in their 30s against Israel, this congressional race I told you about here, which is spending millions and millions of dollars, every one of them in the race says that Benjamin Netanyahu is a war criminal. Every one of them. Yeah. Well, also in New York, the Upper West Side, the most Jewish district in America. They're competing against each other as to who can be more anti-Israel. You know, Jack Schlossberg, the – I've known him since he five years old. I mean, the guy has a total idiot, a jerk, and he's leading because of his name, obviously. But he's running against the number of other Jewish candidates, all of whom are trying to compete for who's more anti-Israel, and who's really more anti-American. And because, you know, Trump is pro-Israel. Everybody who's anti-Trump has to become anti-Israel. And look what's going on in the schools of New York now and schools of Philadelphia and the schools all around the country. The teachers union, union, the teachers are urging the students to commit the crime of truancy. They're urging them to... Stop going to school tomorrow and to protest Trump and protests. Israel, obviously, as well. But the idea that teachers are telling students to commit truancy, I mean, my God, what kind of a world do we live in? These are students, many of them we can't even read and write or add and subtract. The one thing they don't need is another day off in school to be protesting something they don't understand. Absolutely. Most of these students have no idea where... The West Bank is. You know, they think it's an institution where you put money on the west side of New York. So it's, I mean, these are these are these are uneducated ignoramuses that are going to be adults soon and will be running our country. They'll be running it into the ground. Professor Alan Dershowitz with this new book coming out, what are you up to today in your spare time or other times? What are you doing? I'm up to 63. So I have. 62 is, could President Trump constitutionally serve a third term, which is an interesting kind of. thought experiment. As the first President Trump is in the restrictions to provide comprehensive facility care and intervenes fertilization to the city. Here's new news, folks. You already did. On October 16, 2025, President Trump negotiated what's called no state rule, the most favored nation status for E&E Sarano, any drug manufacturer of fertility medication, the drug called GOMO F, a common facility zone, is now offered on Trump, RX.gov, that it just downed greater nearly 800%. The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services is estimated that women can see and hear 50% now on fertility drugs from Trump's negotiations for low income drastically more. I just wanted to get the truth now. I don't have to urge him. He already did it, but I don't know from the city. He did it for all of America. But as I see this, I'm glad he's working for more children in the world. I'm wondering how are we protecting our children now. Correct. It was about maybe about 10 minutes went by when they didn't have a quorum. And yeah, they stopped session and. Unbelievable. I texted Henry. I told him what happened. Yeah. Then I resumed about maybe comments later. Well, not good that you can't have a quorum the one day that they work. All right. Yes, today was extremely probably the longest I've experienced being in there. But like I said, it's a game of attrition. And it was embarrassing for them for not that have their... be at a quorum. And so when people are leaving out, they go to the bathroom or go play on their phones or whatever they're doing, it's total disrespect and disregard for what the public opinion is on the matters. Yeah, I mean, first of all, Alante, broader point, they do it in Bucks County and all too. It's disgraceful. I think Delaware County has their meetings at night. It's got to be at night. For the average citizen, they seemingly don't want it. You have flexibility in your day job.

But a lot of people, they can't go there and stand up and speak like you can. It ought to be at night. I would even see statewide. I like local control. But this is just shutting the public out. It was more suppression of speeches. When people think suppression is speech, they don't think it's a vector for it. It's multiple ways to accomplish. Right. Nothing's by accident. Everything is strategic. And so when you have. conservatives who would show up, these people are working or, you know, people are in different situations. So I'm blessed to have my, I wanted to do this last year, but the job that I had, it wouldn't allow me. So I was blessed to be able to show up and represent the people. Absolutely. We'll get to what you said today, but. Again, great-looking merchandise. This looks very, very good here. And we had a listener there with you today. Wanted to talk to you. They talked about fertilization today, right? We'll get to that. Okay. But also, unless I'm missing something, I think... As political and as fraudulent in the Philadelphia public schools are an advertisement for school choice. There is a big thing going on here, and I wanted to get your take, where they're going to close or remove 17. I think some of these schools, they're built for a thousand or something, and they have a minuscule number of kids. Right. It seems to be these people in city council were saying, you can't do any of this, just continue business as usual. Right. How are you ever going to meet a budget? Not that they even come close anyhow. What do you think of what's going on? They're threatening civil disobedience today's council members. Right. Well, I listened to some state budget meetings on this when they had the school board up there. And so it was saying it's simply. economics is business uh it was just talking to something about they just couldn't afford it and like uh the building is uh i forget the percentage they said that it's empty like you know they don't so like you're wasting money it's waste it's more waste that part of waste fraud and abuse right it's the waste part of it and so it's almost like a sin to lay off climate teachers. They talk about these. So I had to look at it up. What does climate teachers mean? I never heard of this term before. And so these are non-teaching administrative positions that was hired under the Joe Biden administration with COVID money that wasn't never going to be reoccurring. And so when you knew this, you knew you was going to have to create more taxes in order to pay for these teachers. And so it's it's. It's wild to see. And I don't agree. I don't like, you know, you could tell I'm going in there. I don't like anything about the Democrats. I will give credit where credit is do. I think councilman Isaiah Thomas was asking, you said last year, well, he said instead of doing the 800 million.

Barronet and Bonds, I believe it was for Cheryl Parker's home plan. Instead of doing that, why didn't you put that money towards the school? If you knew, we talked about this last year and you knew it was going to be a deficit instead. Now you're trying to do an Uber and an Amazon tax. So I believe that was his standpoint. And if that's true, I'll give him credit for that. But other than that, this is ridiculous. Yeah, the whole thing. And today you're going to explode. They have the hearing. They have the meeting today. So. Also, you just mentioned Democrats. You do go after them. But I think rightfully so, you do target when Republicans are off track. Yes, I do. And I think you don't like the McCormick Mikie Sherrill Parker thing yesterday. I like McCormick. I wouldn't do it now. I would do it after the midterms. It's fine to do this stuff. And I have on one of the governors who went after Stacey Garrity. Because she's doing the right thing to hold up this money for Josh Shapiro that he just took to secure his home. What's the objection to some of these Republicans that you have? I am extremely. Everybody could tell about my social media. I'm extremely pissed. If McCormick wants to do things like this, this bipartisan stuff, then... You should do this exactly after the midterms in a quote unquote off year. Right now we have Republican, local Republican candidates that would have loved that commercial and that endorsements. We have Flit Philly Red, who I'm a part of, would a love for Senator McCormick to reach out and say, I'm coming into your neighborhoods to do some real work. When you, and to call Mayor Shirel Parker, a good mayor, it's. It's insulting because we're trying to get black Philadelphians off of the Democrat plantation. So when you got black people who are looking at Flip Philly Red and you see we're calling out Cheryl Parker, we're not just making noise, we're calling it out for real things. And they said, well, Flip, Philly Red, your senator is saying she's a good mayor. What are you fussing for? So. It's not like Senator McCormick has called Mikie Sherrill Parker out since he's been in office because he, I don't, if somebody, correct me if I'm wrong. What's the biggest objection? Because look, the police department, Bethel. I think have done a pretty good job. And I think the numbers backed it up. You object to that? I object to it because you don't see it. I know Philadelphia police officers that tell me that these numbers are not real. So everybody, they juke the stats and things of that nature. So if Senator McCormick was calling her out about the trash that was covering the streets in the summer of 2025 or the lack of snow removal in 2026 of the Uber tax, Amazon tax, city wage tax, property tax, soda tax, if he was calling her out about the. $2 billion home plan that she has more government housing. If he was doing things like that to stand up for conservatives in Philadelphia or all Philadelphia, then okay, you want to go have cheese steaks with her, go ahead then. But if you're not calling her out, I don't care about being a nice guy. I want Republicans just going to get in there and fight for the Save America Act. I understand he has a good voting record. Thank you for that. I'll give credit where credit is due. But it's not enough if you're not calling out John Thune and holding his feet to the fire. I want fighters.

I want Republicans to start being fighters. I want results. The nice stuff, that's the uniparty stuff when you're shaking hands and he and ha-ha. We don't want that anymore. We want results. The Philadelphia police last week, one of your friends who's also in media, I think. I don't think it was Frank. I think it was somebody else. subtly was flipping to somebody in a police uniform and I'm checking on this filming you. This was not on the floor of city council where they have a right to do it. You were just talking to media. What can you tell us and what's happening with that? So I was told, quote unquote, that when there's a protest or a I'm not the guy with the ice out signs. I'm not, I don't have 20 people with me. I'm not inside of the chambers. I'm outside. So in my opinion, they don't know me like that. They probably look me up, seeing that I have a record. To me, they could be tried to build a narrative, build a case. If I do get out of line, if I say the wrong thing, and then they can say, look, you know, we've been building up this history of him. Maybe that might be the case. But to the people that are listening. Because sometimes they think that I'm, you know, I might be a little. I'm always in control. If you see me going back and forth with any politician, I'm always in the moment and I'm always in control. I know exactly when I'm doing when I'm doing it. So I'm safe. I'm pretty good. No, I have a couple friends, and we're looking at this, and they think this is way out of line also, Alante. Attimidation. Yeah, that it's viewpoint discrimination. These people, some of whom are probably here illegally, the ice out people, all with the same printed up signs. They're the ones disrupting, et cetera. You're doing an interview on NBC 10 and 6 ABC. They see you as a credible source. Right, absolutely. Which is good. Yeah. So I'm glad that, you know, shout out to Megan Heaton. She's on a Rudy Juniani show a lot. And she's the one to capture that, a Flip, Philly Red member. So thank her to that for a capture. And that's for the world to see. Coming up now, we're just, we're almost in May. Maybe that can help, you know, and Stacey Garrity can get some of that love because people are going. Talk about Garrity because she's coming up. And I know that you really have tried to. Five governors attacking her and saying that don't be political about Josh Shapiro.

He has no right to a million dollars without going through the legislature to enhance his house. No, absolutely. Stacey Garrity is doing the right thing. I wish Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick would stop cozying up to the Philadelphia Inquirer. I wished, you know, they knew they was going to endorse her in 2025, which they did in September. I wish Senator Dave McCormick didn't take pictures with Josh Shapiro. It's just looking like the P.A. GOP is working against their things we've heard, the history we've heard. See, I don't want to have to do this. I want my part. party to be effective and run more efficient. Because when you look at what the Democrats do, they do not campaign against their opponents. They campaign against President Trump. They don't even respect our candidates. And I'm tired of it. So I need Senator Greg Rothman, State Senator Greg Rothman, to step it up. I need Andy Riley to come up from behind the shadows. And I need everybody, Senator Day McCormick, to start acting like he cares about what's going on in Philadelphia. Fair enough. He's a good guy, and I'm just going to try to get to the bottom of why would they be in support of Josh Shapiro on this whole thing with a million bucks that he just cavalierly gets? And look, I'm sick and tired. Of course we want him and his family to be safe. But he's the one that didn't go after the incompetent state police. He's the one that wouldn't talk about the anti-Semite, anti-Israel clown that did it. And yet he just says, a million bucks, taking it, going to put it on my house, and that's it, and it stays there. And she is treasurer saying no. And then five governors jump in. And they actually say in the light of the attempted assassination of President Trump, how are we playing politics? on all this. By the way, this is kind of wild, but put it on the radar screen. The blue sky feed of the, of Cole Allen, Comas Allen, indicates today they're breaking it down on Fox, the White House correspondent dinner shooter. There's a lot of Chinese influence in this. Now, I'm not saying the communist Chinese are paying this guy or doing it. All I'm saying is they are an existential threat to the world. And for then chief domo, Dr. Anthony Fauci, to be in league with them, giving them gain of function and just say, let's do that. Let's see what happens if we make this disease. on steroids, if you will, in Wuhan, and then covering it up. The clock is ticking, Rand Paul says, and he's right. This guy's got to be indicted. We're going to see if the Justice Department is going to do that. They did indict his top guy. So was the top guy doing all this stuff with the emails and moving around away from official control? Probably not. Maybe they're trying to strike a deal with him. to turn on Dr. Anthony Fauci. We have not had an accounting on COVID. We just have not had it. And I'm going to ask Stacey Garrity, and again, the media is so corrupt on attacking this, but we're going to win and we are winning school choice. Just look at the Philadelphia public schools. They're almost having a riotous situation today because they might close 17 of them. And as far as I can tell. These are low capacity. In other words, they're only occupying half the building and the buildings are antiquated. You have the South Work School that Guy Sharaki's written about. Little kids out there with posters. We don't want to go to the bathroom and a trailer. And can you get rid of the pest? I don't know if they're rats or not in the school. And their budget is just under $5 billion. How do they get away with this? And the way they get away with it is they're united, the teachers unions. the establishment up and down the line that are Democrats, progressives, and they will fight to the death to stop us from having school choice. Because they know that school choice will weaken their power in so many different ways. But it's up to 30 states now that are taking the money from the big, beautiful bill from President Trump, and more on the way.

And when they do, are the other states still going to stiff parents and kids wanting to get out of these rotten schools? And they are. They're filled off your public schools. They're rotten. They don't work. And they would tell you, well, we don't have enough money. You could give them a trillion dollars, and it would be marginal. All right. Side question today. Something that is almost perfect. But then they changed it. And Alan's got a whole area there. When you fool around with remaking something, always going to be dangerous. Alan in Hamilton. Alan, what's yours today? I like the remaking of the movie West Side Story. 10 Academy Awards made a major star. George Chiaris was a dancer, now he's a star. But they remade it, and there's nothing really that needed to be remade. Yeah, I got you. Yeah, I thought it was not good. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't good versus the original. And you know, every time we hear a cover song, I'm thinking, I don't think I've ever heard a cover better than a major song. Some of them are passable. They're good. Yeah. But once you see, it's like rifting on the national anthem. You know, you're really let it alone. Please don't do that. All right, so that's a whole area you might want to think about, something that was great, and then they fooled around with it, and it was lesser. That's kind of what we're looking for. By the way, saw this breakdown. David Burke on Twitter, Dear Democrats, whining about democracy, please explain to America how out of 21 congressional seats representing the six New England states, there are zero Republican, over 21. Even though 40% of the elected are registered Republicans, 48% in New Hampshire alone, and then he said you have independence also. So how is it that those are gerrymander, the six New England states, where there's zero Republican representatives? This is a fierce fight here, and they have it in their head that the world is any because they're grift. around affirmative action and these minority seats is ending and it could cost them in this upcoming midterm four to six seats. Plus in Florida, Ron DeSantis is on the march. That could be another four seats. So we have a real shot at winning the midterms. The only thing, I'll say this, Democrats have stuff. that is hatred-driven President Trump. That's a sure way to drive out voters. Mikie Sherrill celebrated yesterday her 100th day. And what were her accomplishments? Well, she cited gone after Trump, and then she cited affordability. So we've got to be careful with anything that gives them the prop of affordability. When we have the White House ballroom, you know what they're going to say. This is billionaire's affordability.

She says she's going to go after FIFA. Remember, the 1290 train ride is going to cost 150. She's going to put in all kinds of taxes, ride chair, hotel at the matches themselves in order to increase affordability for the citizens of New Jersey. So they got the word, and the media is complicit in this. We know this. Republicans got a counter with something. We need something from it. As I told you, this math now looks better for them. The polling indicates they're tied with Democrats pretty much for who people hate. So there's that. That's not bad. But we need a little bit more to get over the top here. And I don't think consorting with them like in this Josh Shapiro thing. I mean, Stacey Garrity is now. I love Stacey Garrity. I love her life work, what she's contributed to the country, self-made, brilliant financially, what she's done as treasurer, the desert angel, what was she a colonel, I believe, lieutenant colonel, in the military, in the National Guard, taken over the prison in Iraq that widely was appraised by everybody as spectacular what she did. And she's up against the guy. who, and I'm going to ask her about this, several national news, that his administration spending $3 million a year, U.S. Army Reserve Colonel, thanks, Henry, $3 million a year on all of his social media PR people. TikTok alone, he's got two or three people. I mean, we're a major radio state. We don't have what this guy has spending on this, you know? How in the world does he, and it's that taxpayers are paying for it. And the media is more complicit with this guy than anybody I've ever seen. So don't you think Republicans? And where are they? After these governors wading against Stacey Garrity, we ought to be holding rallies here driving people even more toward this what she's up against. Are we going to throw her hands up and just say, oh, Josh Shapiro, can't do anything about that? You know, it's like playing the Yankees back in the day or whatever. No, it's not. We don't know with this guy. He doesn't impress me. I've jowse it with him over the years. Stand next to him. That's the way to do it. That's what I would do on tippy toes. 855, 839, 12, 10. As I said, I just think the message, once we get done the primary, maybe more of that message out there of the credentials, the accomplishments of treasurer Stacey Garrity running for governor, U.S. Army Reserve Colonel. We've talked about that. There's got to be more media profiling on that. We want more military people, do we not, running for high office? Let's go to Stacey Garrity. Stacey, welcome back to Philadelphia. Thanks for joining us. Hi, Dom. Great to be with you as always. Well, we have been batting down the hatches here. We had Senator Corman on, and we're starting to get, in my view, to the heart of Josh Shapiro and... Usually, Stacey, I think he'd be more careful, you know, his plan to run for president and everything else. But the arrogance is seeping in. And it seems to be to protect him and his family, which we want to do, and I know you do, he would go by the book. We've spent, if I'm correct, John Cornyn said, I think $33 million on the mansion. That seems kind of high. But for his personal home. I think you're maintaining there's a procurement statute where he just can't up and do that. Well, and he knows that, Dom. And so touching on the governor's personal residence, yeah, I think it's going to end up being about $33 million. So far, we paid as of last week, about $26.1 million. And you know what? You haven't heard me say one single word about that because they did it correctly. But this personal residence, which, by the way, the work was done months ago, I simply cannot pay those bills. I'm not even questioning whether he needed security upgrades or not. I trust the state police, but the state constitution prohibits me from using public.

So taxpayer dollars on a private residence. And he knows this. And all they had to do, they had two bites of the apple. So in the 25 budget cycle, they added the line item appropriation for the governor's residence. They could have added one for the private residence. And then they can still do it for this budget cycle. So I'm not sure why they're not doing it the correct way. But I have to say Josh Shapiro is the least transparent governor in modern history. Yeah, and my go way back, Stacey, when he was just starting to run for state rep, the jousting I've had with him, it is amazing. A proof of that, too, approximately how much does he have on his PR staff? I think it's 23, 24 people. TikTok alone, it's enormous how much he's on there. Well, it is. And what's also amazing is that you'll see he'll be in his office and he'll do an official TikTok or commercial and then he'll do a political one. And this is all taxpayer dollars. So, yeah, a lot of issues. So, yeah, the $1.1 million is sitting out there. and hopefully they'll do the right thing. So just back to again to clarify, so you can't pay for this under the statute. So what happens next? Well, let me talk about some of the pressures. And I'm surprised at three of these guys, really, the three governors who said essentially don't, five governors, five former governors, don't be political in this. It seems to me they're talking to you or any Republican that is saying we're just going by the law here. We have nothing against certainly his family to protect them. What do you make of that? Five governors now drawn into this. Well, you know. Anyone that knows me knows that I call balls and strikes as a treasure. I follow the law. And I believe I was one of the very first individuals to come out after the arson at the mansion and said, you know, that an attack on the governor is an attack on all of us. I didn't talk about rhetoric, you know, like some of my colleagues said tone down the rhetoric. I did not. I said that's unnecessary right now. We need to make sure that the governor and his loved ones are safe. And so I happen to agree with those five governors that, no, it shouldn't be political. And guess what? It's not political. And they should know that. You know, it's... You know, let me intervene there. You're being gracious about this, but I know I'll say it because I'm furious. You can imagine here. We have one of them on today later on the show, who I think is a good guy, former Governor Schweiker. And I'm going to ask him about this. You've got to know we're against probably, and I'm not saying it. The Kamala Harris people are saying it. We are against the most political guy. And you said least transparent, I would agree.

They couldn't put him on the ticket, even though he might have carried Pennsylvania, and they tag in walls. That's how bad this is. And we're going to be on that side politically here, at least it appears to be that way. When you're doing your job as treasurer, the one force that can hold the line here on a guy who I think is... evidence that he's out of control, trying to take over his neighbor's land. A politician in a big race and wanting to be president doesn't try to grab the land of a next-door neighbor. You just don't. Oh, I agree. And what's annoying is, you know, we were very transparent. You know, we published our opinion with a timeline. I mean, my goodness, the person that... you know, whose name is on the letter where we rejected the payments is my chief counsel, who, by the way, is the Democrat. So we were very deliberative. We spent almost four months going through thousands of pages of documents. We gave the state police. We asked them, you know, please provide your legal justification. They could not find a legal justification. Unfortunately, there is not a legal justification. And, you know, they just thought they could do spend their GGO. So that's their, you know, their general operations money on anything that they want to. And they can't. You still have to follow procurement code. And the procurement code says, we do not use taxpayer dollars on private residences. You know, it's absolutely not about the person in the house. It's about the title on the deed. Yes, exactly, because that million dollars then would stay with them afterward, et cetera. And I'm not hearing you say, Senator Corman and I were a little bit different. And then he told me about what they're trying to do to have a compromise on this. I do think I'm fine with limits and doing it in the right way and your guidance. Senator Coleman, yeah, I keep on saying Corman. Coleman. Stacey, that protecting his private residence, even though he has a big public one, okay, but it's got to be something reasonable here, and it can't be you just decide to do it, that you don't follow what the regulations are. Are you okay with it as a general matter? Say you're a governor. I think something reasonable should be done to protect your private residents, given... the times we're living in and he does have kids and this maniac's firebomb them. But we've got to come to a compromise on this. You just can't say a million dollars and I'm doing it.

Right. That's why I think it's so important that we get this right, because the state police have said that this is going to be, you know, more common going forward. And so how do you, you know, does the attorney general need security upgrades at his residence? Does, you know, the president pro temp, Kim Ward, does the Senate governor? What happens if Josh Shapiro decides to sell his house? and we've spent, you know, a million dollars of taxpayer money. What's the avenue for the taxpayers to get it back? I mean, what if he decides to buy another house? What if they have a vacation home? I mean, it really does become a slippery slope. So I think Senator Coleman is correct that, you know, we need to put some guardrails around it. But again, we'll let him to be safe. Absolutely. There you go, a vacation home. And even that, I think, within reason, you have to get a certain level of protection. This is a major thing. There are maniacs out there. Absolutely. That's all reasonable. Let's talk about... But we have to remember, Dom, that he has security wherever he goes. Right. So when he is staying at his private residence, he has a state police detail there. And when they go on, he always has security with him. and his family. So that's just something to keep in mind. I don't want people to think that he has absolutely no security at all. But I think most people surprised because, you know, they didn't understand that this was for, you know, a personal resident. And there's been no governor in the history of the Commonwealth since they've been, you know, protected, being protected by the state police that has used taxpayer dollars on upgrading their security at their private residence. We're headed toward the primary, May 19th now, and then we'll have everything official. As you travel around, I know you have a ferocious schedule. What is it that people are talking about when you said something to the effect that Pennsylvania doesn't have to be mediocre? That really was a shot across the bow. The other side really didn't like that. But any factual look at this would say, all right, the 95 stuff. I like the urgency and what he did. But after that, there's nothing here remarkable. And in fact, some of it is less than remarkable. So I think Pennsylvanians are, you know, they like my message of hope. And I think people are starting to realize we are at a fork in the road, right? We are at a crossroads. And Pennsylvanians are going to have to decide what kind of state that do we want to be? Do we want to be a state that works for families or do we want to be a state that works for politicians? And do we want to be a state that is leading the nation in almost every metric instead of, you know, being at the bottom? I think there's finally starting to understand that with all the blessings that we have. that we're squandering, that it doesn't have to be this way and it shouldn't be this way. And you know what? They want opportunities for their kids and their grandkids. Everybody wants their kids to stay in Pennsylvania, raise their families in Pennsylvania, work in Pennsylvania, start businesses in Pennsylvania. And right now, we are the sixth highest state in the nation for people leaving. And so this guy wants a promotion when he's, you know, chasing people out of the state, basically.

Absolutely. Where do we go, Stacey? And is there any event coming up? You're going to be in our county areas in next week or two? Oh, my gosh. So I was in your area last week. The pictures that I saw showed Pete Hegseth and Stephen Miller. shielding their wives when we had the shooter incident last Saturday at the White House Correspondence Dinner. But here's how Jennifer Welsh saw it. That's what they are. And then you might remember from the night of the shooting, the incident at the White House Correspondence Dinner, the Katie Miller was put in front of her husband, Stephen Miller, you know, known alpha male extraordinaire. And he's behind her crouching down. He's not very tall. So he's like behind his wife. Now, if he wasn't using her as a shield and it was something private between the two of them and they were whist to safety, you would never talk about it again. But Katie Miller says, hold my beer. I want to defend my husband, the biggest in government, Stephen Miller, play the clip. So my dear husband lifts me up. And Brian, who's our detail, says to Stephen, you know, she goes first. And so I went first because the threat was behind us. And so what everyone sees is my husband may be copying a feel. But what I would say is that he wasn't going to put his hands on my stomach because that's where our baby is. And so he just moved his hands upward. And of course, you don't notice that in the moment. And later that night, I see it on X. And there's this very funny post. And I look at Stephen and I was like, did you really need to do that? And he's like, what did I do? And I just copped a feel on the way out of the ballroom. I mean, it's just a real knee slaver. But the fact that she felt like she needed to address it that he wasn't using her as a shield tells you 100%. He was using her as a shield. Otherwise, you would never address it. Ever. Ever. issue around the Surgeon General and this Maha woman who I thought was unqualified. I don't care they say make America healthy again. She wasn't going to make America healthy. Trump has jumped in now and nominated Nicole Sapphire to be Surgeon General. I think that is a brilliant choice. You've heard her with us here on talk radio. I don't know how many times. And I think she brings a real sensibility to this. Now, look, it's not an office similar to the other cabinet. It's more of a guidance and all that. But given all that's going on in the health sphere, it's a critical bully pulpit sort of role. And I think, you know what this is indicative of? Trump is going as we head toward the midterms. You know what? We're not going to let Democrats take this other woman. that was up to be the Maha, the Surgeon General, wild stuff. We're going to concentrate on the things where we win in this area, and Nicole Sapphire represents that. It's kind of like the areas I told you where Robert F. Kennedy Jr. can get outside the lines and the areas where he's had tremendous success. Nicole Sapphire is inside those lines, but I think... touting a lot of the things that the Trump administration has done that previous administrations didn't come anywhere near. All right? So we got that going on and hopefully we'll get her on. Saudi Arabia I mentioned walking away from Livgolf. I think it's official now. And that's a good thing. And they lost $8 billion. That's a good thing. Coming up, former Governor Mark Schweiker, all right? He became governor when Governor Ridge, another Republican, took over the very first Homeland Security. He was one of five former governors that were just talking about with Stacey Garrity that sent this directive out this week in the wake of the shooting. You know what? You heard candidate treasurer Stacey Garrity with us earlier, and we had this situation developed this week that we've talked about where former Pennsylvania governors, five of them, released a statement calling for bipartisan support. More than that, I think it was calling to say, do not politicize. They cite it, or at least news reports, I think they cited it too, the attack on the Josh Shapiro family, but also the backdrop, at least the media did, of the shooting in the Capitol just last Saturday. So the governors were two Democrats, Governor Wolf, Governor Rendell, three Republicans, Governor Tom Ridge, Governor Tom Corbett, and our guest.

Former governor, and you get the title governor, I don't know why people don't understand that. If you get the title, Colonel or Corporal or Governor, it's lifelong. That's just the way it works. Governor, Mark Schweiker, with us on Talk Radio 1210. Governor, welcome back. I think we've spoken over the years. Thanks for joining us today. Sure. Thanks, Tom. Well, Governor, tell me then why do this now, the five of you, what's the agency? How did this happen? Do people contact you, whatever you can tell us, that you agreed to issue this statement? Sure. Oh, yeah. All five gods took in the conversation and, you know, literally paragraph and verse and word. We were comfortable with the point and the verbiage. So, and as you likely know, on your listeners, likely know, that, you know, it goes back to 2025. And a remarkable once. in a lifetime for Pennsylvania. It was, you know, an arsonist scale defense in Harrisburg, set fire to the governor's residence, certainly expressed some vitriol and anti-Governor Josh Shapiro remarks, and the family was forced to leave the governor's residence. And as a result, Dom, as we all know, the family moved to their private residence in a suburban Philadelphia County. And from there, knowing that in this state and most states, you know, whether it's the formal governor's residence in the state capital or the family resides because of that, you know, that attack. last year, became the governor's residence. And it had to be fortified because, you know, we're in a different environment. I think you know this. I know this. The other gops know this. you know, the first family, including Josh Shapiro as the gov, need to be protected. So certain measures, you know, were ventured and completed through the efforts of the Pennsylvania State Police and the executive detail. And really, it boils down to, you know, the bill getting paid. So, you know, in our estimation, it wasn't a matter of us, to your question now. of having to do an accounting review. It was generally about, do we want to make sure that the first family is protected? And the answer was yes, and thus our statement and, you know, your invitation to join you this afternoon. All right. Well, thank you. And but who is it that might be politicizing it then? I mean, don't you have to be a little bit more transparent? Who are we talking about politicizing this?

No, I think our reaction was in a very sober way, if one takes a look at the comments and release beginning to end, was that, you know, it's an unusual time. And so let's make sure that the first family and a little bit of education involved here, which I'll venture in a second, but no, the idea was don't let it become a partisan matter. In my mind, it's a situation, Dom, where, and I think your listeners can kind of process this and calmly assess this and conclude that we don't have to get into this artificial division between safety of the family and Pennsylvania law and accounting practice. It's a matter of government can do, you know, both the administration and the treasurer's office ought to be coming together and really address both. You can have safety and you can respect Pennsylvania law. And I think that's where all the way to come out. Well, there's where, look, Governor, I'm very glad you came on. There's where we part on this, though. Josh Shapiro doesn't respect anything in my mind. You might know him better. How does he spend a million dollars without any kind of approval here? Doesn't that? worry you there is the procurement law he should have gone to them say security was just on 33 million they spent on the residents but they went through the proper channels don't you have to do some of that Well, individually speaking, Dom, I don't know the ins and outs of that process. I don't believe for one minute that, you know, Governor Josh Shapiro is many things. But I don't believe for one second, he brought a sense of disregard to what had to be done to rebuild the governor's residence, impressive as it is. It has been for decades. and to make sure that they don't face violence at their home, their suburban home. So, you know, and I do believe at some point it wasn't just the Pennsylvania State Police, but the Attorney General was generally good with the measures that were being suggested. So, but that's a matter of, that's between the treasurer and the Gov's office for sure. Well, I'll tell you how I'm amazed. We have three Republican governors, and as I see it in the, This is a race that is, oh, let me ask you this, Governor. Just your assessment of Josh Shapiro then as governor and going forward, what do you think of him and he's a candidate for governor again? Sure. Well, I think. It's safe to say that he's a very active governor. I mean, you know, in my mind, and I'm somewhat partial to someone who comes out of local and county government. You know my background, I was a municipal official and a county commissioner as well in Bucks County. So I just got the same background. So I think it explains his energetic efforts. He's everywhere from a schedule and appearance standpoint. I think a lot of the measures that he espouses.

and some of the success stories that every governor has enjoyed, you know, whether it's on the economy building front. to making sure that our schools, both public and non-public, have what they need. But my job today in our conversation, Dom, is not to size up Josh Shapiro's time and office. Do I think the state has progressed? Yeah, but I think it's fair to say that every governor has ushered in some form of progress. My outlook now is not to get into political and partisan assessment. This is all about making sure that we don't allow political violence. And, you know, some of the ugly stuff we saw at the Washington Hilton Saturday night to reach again into Pennsylvania. So not here to talk about campaign politics, but in my mind, we're at a point where it doesn't seem that we can have just a sober reflection and discussion about what's right. At the gobs, I believe, and I think I'm on safe ground to assert this. that it's a matter of protection of the first family, wherever the residents might be, not campaign politics. All right, but the governor would all do respect, and I think you did a good job, is a very good job, and you're a good guy, but we are in a political atmosphere. This guy's the ultimate politician, and you guys jumping into three Republicans, you are saying that Stacey Garrity ought to just approve this, right? No, no, no, no, I think if you take a look at what is being. At least what I'm hearing as far as how the basis can be put in place for the bill to be paid. First of all, I would say this, Dom. You know, you remember I was a lieutenant governor and handled clemency issues. And one of them was the cop killer, Momeo, Bull Jamal, who killed Dan Faulkner. To this day, I'm friends with Maureen, and I, too, was more than offended, and I believe that he had to face his maker and execution. And certainly, individually speaking, and Tom Ridge felt the same way, we were good with that. My point in this observation is that I don't want to go into it too deeply, but probably a couple hundred threats came our way toward the family. When I look at our kids at the time and they were young, I thought they didn't sign up for this. Well, part of it is that, you know, protection of the first family is paramount. And not so much the accounting issue that the treasurer rightfully raised. So in my mind, and I know the other governor saw it the same way in this heightened environment was this.

that let's agree that number one is to protect that family wherever the residents might be because they were forced out and literally asleep. Okay, Governor, excuse me, but Governor, okay, I just wanted to interrupt and say, yes, but the way we do this is to get approvals like we did with the residents where we negotiate this. What is it we should be doing? He has gone, in my view, and the people we've had on, State Senator Coleman. Garrity didn't say it, but, you know, she's running Coleman and others. It's excessive what he did, and he just did it. And he's trying to take the land to the next door neighbor. I'm saying that just for context. You don't have to get into that. Don't you have to say, I need this at my residence, and go to the proper authorities here and get that done. You just can't do it. Well, I think my sense. Well, I don't know. Okay. It's not my place on this. spring day, Dom, to say, relative to the elements and the facts, what's correct or incorrect. I know that the residents, wherever the governor is when it comes to being at home, and again, forced out of their home in Harrisburg, the Pennsylvania State Police are responsible, 24 and 7, seven days a week. And they had to, you know, to use the military term, hardened the facility to fortify the facility. Relative to the particulars, just not a good idea to let the crazies know what's in place in terms of securing the first family. But it was done. So really it's a matter now of, as I see it, the treasurer's office working out the details. It requires some kind of backing to your point. you know, some kind of legislative action. Okay. And backing by both chambers, then it ought to get done. In my mind, we don't want accounting practice or bill paying protocols to stand between propriety and keeping the first family safe. All right. I would agree. But, Governor, I would say that I just think you're a guy with a real good conscience. But politically, you rose to a high level. You have to know. This is being billed as Stacey Garrity is standing in a way of protecting the first family when you guys jump into the ring this way, right? Politically, that's how it plays out. Well, I... If that is, that's not a conclusion that any of the gobs wish to see circulating at all. I think that, you know, the once Colonel Stacey Garrity, the accomplished military executive and now the state's treasurer, twice elected as we know, her opinion ought to be respected. I think there's an implied obligation in my mind as I look at this soberly and without politics, without.

you know, Republican Democrat assessment is that the two ought to get together. I'm talking, you know, the Gov's office and the treasurer's office, and it could be resolved because there's going to be a little doubt in my mind that what was installed in that suburban residence was legitimate. Okay. Well, what is Mark Schweiker doing now? What's your portfolio, Mark? What are you doing? What are you up to? Well, Tom, I'm a, you know, I'm a past tense office holder, so to see. I'm involved in the, you know, I keep myself busy in the professional world, but Kathy and I have, you know, by the end of this summer, we're going to have three grandkids. Oh, excellent. When you get a chance with a governor's race going on, you've got to open up on Josh Shapiro, to your point, school choice, what a fraud he is on it, because we were talking about schools. If you don't take that opportunity, what world are you from that you're a governor, former governor? But he injected himself politically. Yes. That's what I don't understand. How does he not understand? This is all political. That's the whole thing. And it seems to me, Beau, he didn't have a full accounting on what Josh Shapiro did here. You don't take a million dollars and do whatever you want with it. Well, you know what I do. And I would want to know I could get a ring camera from my seven-bedroom house and pay three grand for it. But underwriting the change that we've seen at our department was a laser focus on getting back to basics. And the key word to that is merit. We had a department that was obsessed with gender, ideology, and race, diversity, equity, and inclusion. In fact, the mantra you would hear dripping from the lips of generals with a serious look on their face was, our diversity is our strength.

which is the single dumbest phrase in military history. Of course, our diversity is not our strength. Our unity is our strength. Our shared purpose. The flag we wear and the constitution we serve to defend. And when you clear that debris away, whether it's Marxist ideologies or social engineering or political correctness or quotas based on gender and diversity, you get... the best of the best rising up, regardless of gender, regardless of race, motivated by that environment where merit reigns its accountability, standards, lethality, readiness, training, all the debris wiped away. That is the secret sauce of the revival of the War Department and why Americans are attracted to serving in it and why those inside it, why morale is sky high. And any insinuation that it is not, are coming from folks who haven't been in our units recently. Go visit the troops at every level and their morale is at record level. The Democrats on this, you're going against diversity as are all those posters across America. No? Putting aside toward common purpose defending us, the Constitution, defending America. That's what the strength is. Yeah, and people coming from all different backgrounds, but they meld together around that, not, oh, my background is paramount. No. Hague says spot on. And look, if you come on, you ought to tell me what you think of Josh Shapiro. It's a political campaign here. Well, I get that with Jeremy Corbyn and Ridge, okay? That's why I think you handled the interview with the person you spoke to perfectly because he's coming across as kind of an unknowing boob. And I'm sorry to say that because he's done good things in the past, but that's why I think you handled it. But anyway, I'll get to my side answer. And it's a little abstract, Dom, but any vice that's been decriminalized. falls into the perfect zone, but government cannot leave things just to criminalize. They got to step in and take it over. And the advice that I'll use as an example is weed, okay?

They decriminalized it, and it seemed like there was no big deal about it. Kind of like putting the liquor bottle in the bag, and the cops left you alone, right? Yeah. And then the government got into, and I should point out that during the worst of Biden's inflation, the price of weed never changed, Dom. It was like it's inflation proof. But as soon as the government took it over, then they started busting the people on the streets because they were competition, and the price rose 50% going to this. They ruin everything they touch, and it can apply to alcohol, gambling, what have you. But whenever something is decriminalized, it's great. When the government steps in to make it better, it always gets worse. And that's all I have, Dom. I appreciate you. Thank you, Robert. That is such a brilliant observation, Embry. So true. I think it was the 25 or so Republican senators, including Dougie Mastroana, who voted for Act 77. Boy, you talk about Manhattan for 24 hours. They trade it. All right, you can't just go in and hit one button to vote for everybody. It's a Democrat or a Republican. You had to do it individually to stop that. And they traded it for essentially what became mail-in-balloting. Great trade, Doug, and others. The Earl of Tacconi, Earl, limited time. What's yours? Mine would be ethanol and gasoline. Gasoline had lead. They took it out. You had decent mileage. Then they started adding ethanol, which reduced your mileage. But the worst part is if you have like a two-cycle engine or like a lawnmower or a weed eater, a boat, or a snowmobile, the ethanol destroys the carburetor. Not only that, but if you want ethanol-free gasoline, you probably have to pay close to 50 cents more per gallon, not for something that they're adding to the gas, but for something that are not adding. Thank you, Earl. Well, I wonder over and, you know, I'm going to make a point to go by that Chesslin Hill. I might stake it out today to see when that five goes up. I want to be there to record it.
