Let's start with the fraudulent Democrat Party on extreme fraudulent terms. I'm talking about the fact how many times we've talked about it just this week again in the wake of the attempted assassination, we believe, in Washington last week. The Nazi talk still comes out. By the way, several of you on social media and whatever said in the wake of that, well, what about the dogs? Where were the dogs? Have you seen the footage? It's at Dom Show 1210, I put it up, the most recent footage. The dogs were doing their jobs. I don't know about the handler in the hallway where the shooter emerged from and then ran through a bunch of police and secret service who were not that effective. The dog wanted to go through that passageway. The dog was sensing potentially that the shooter was there. So those of you that talked about the dogs, yes, always rely on them. But the Nazi stuff. This guy, Graham Platner, the guy who will be the nominee in... Maine to take on the warbler, Susan Collins. Graham Platner does indeed have a Nazi tattoo. The Maryland guy, Chris Van Hollen, explaining that, well, maybe it was PTSD. You know, that was only in his youth. How about the stuff he said on rape, on Israel, and just about everything else? But then again, my favorite, he is an oyster farmer. So they will do anything. And the media, even on the Abby Phillips show last night, I'll play you a lot of sound today on this. They did call out the fact, how in the world are you supporting this guy? By the way, you know, Scott Jennings usually defeats all opponents there. This punk, this kid from the Midas touch, though, really is infuriate. The smirk alone is unbelievable. And I'll play you some sound. Scott last night got kind of crazy, the second or third go around with him. And when the kid put his hand near his face, he said, take that hand out of my blanking face on CNN. So they talked a lot about Graham Platner, though. How in the world do we have this guy? And now he's saying the right things. That's what Democrats are saying. Well, guess what? Hasan Piker was in town yesterday. I'm proud. This is the radio show that tried to put that on the map. He was out there in West Philly for this rep rap, Chris Rab, noted, quote, progressive running wildly over in the big congressional race against Sharif Street. And if you take a look at the crowd that was out there at Malcolm X playground or park,

It doesn't really reflect the demographics of the district. It was almost 99.99% white, younger, radicals. And they were chanting DSA, the Democrat Socialist Party here in Philadelphia. Hasan Piker said a lot of the usual things. Now remember, this is the guy that tries to meld together, Islamism, hatred of Israel, anti-Semitism, I would say. and things on the left, but how is Islam, radical Islam, associated with the left? He's a guy who recently talked about murdering that United Health Care Executive by Luigi Mangione allegedly saying, well, Engels of Marx and Engels, today on Mayday, mark that first reference on Mayday today, the Kami Day, he referenced that. In defense of this, sure, you can kill him because he was killing people, if not literally, but figuratively. So that means that it's okay to take him out. That's how wild it is. How can a sitting representative parade around with this? Now, you should know, too, that in the Congress, and I agree with this wholeheartedly, Mike Lawler, who's the Republican and Gottmeier, who's the Democrat from Florida, I think, They have a resolution calling out and saying the anti-Semitic movement, we're condemning the face of that. And that would be Candace Owens, that maniac. That's on the right. And on the left, Hasan Piker. They are twins. They go together perfectly. She's more even unhinged and conspiratorial, if possible, than Hasan Piker. So I try to call them as I see them. It is stunning to see this continue to play out, and I don't think that Rab is going to win, thank God. I think Street will win. But the Democrat Party nationally, that's the story. They can't get away from this guy. They have ample numbers of their party who can't get enough want to be seen with him. He's got a vast following streaming, and that's what they want, and they don't care. By the way, yesterday in City Council. was another example of the mob in Philadelphia. Now, you know, our buddy, Alante McCauley, each week there's trouble in city council just for speaking his mind in the one or two minutes he gets. Well, many members of city council yesterday... went to the school board meeting and shut down the school board meeting. They had to continue it virtually. Thank God for Zoom. And they did vote to close 17 schools that are not filled to capacity or anything like it. But they told them they threatened them right there. They screamed. They shouted. Nobody did anything about it. They were allowed to shut it down. Now, if you went into city council and tried to do that, you can imagine what the reception would be. So that yesterday was just an example of where we are. Tom Gierdano's show here on Talk Radio 12. Tim, we've got a great side question. I'll give you momentarily coming up. And Victoria Coates is here today. Several polls out, and this is becoming the story, not that I buy these, claiming that the war in Iran.

is more unpopular than the war in Vietnam. In other words, the polling shows more people oppose this than oppose the war in Vietnam. They say it's the most unpopular in the last 76 years. I get it. I get the surging gas prices. I get how there doesn't appear to be any way out of this. But I think people that are living in the real world. realize that Iran can't get a nuclear weapon. And ultimately, that's what this is about. Iran can't continue to terrorize the rest of the world. That might even be harder to get them out of in the future. But thank God we had a president who recognized what other presidents did, but did nothing for the last 47 years. That's what the bottom line is here. And we'll continue to see this play out. Now, one of the things... that most has my attention today is the Department of Justice is going after the state of New Jersey on something that I know every time we talk about it, and rightfully so. And our buddy, Dawn Fantasia, is on top of this. The Justice Department is telling them this is a violation of federal law. What do I mean? The fact that you can be a United States citizen. say right at the base of the Ben Franklin, and unless you get over to the other side of the Ben Franklin and live there, in other words, if you wanted to go to Rutgers in Camden, which I did for law school, remember the Moot Court competition, don't want to remind you of that, if you went to try to go to Rutgers, you have to pay out-of-state tuition. Let's say you're living at six in line, something like that. You're just going over the bridge. You could walk, well, maybe with the Marine platoon, into Camden, to Rutgers Law School or Rutgers during the day. You'd have to pay out-of-state tuition, which is much more. But if your parents came here illegally or you came here illegally and you, quote, reside in New Jersey, you pay in-state tuition, which is much less. So the Department of Justice... is all over this saying this violates federal law, and I believe it does, and I believe this is going to be very interesting to see what Mikie Sherrill says and how this plays out. But clearly, this is a big moment. Dawn Fantasia, who will get back on next week, wonderful guest. Dawn put up on her Twitter two headlines. One said immigrants denied access in New Jersey. These are illegal immigrants. They're not immigrants, not people here legally. Why should we in Pennsylvania be just on the other side of the bridge and at various places in the state? Very close. Have to pay the full tuition, which is substantially different. And someone who is not here legally has no status of that sort. They are their parents. They don't care how long they're here. All right, it's one thing to say we're not going to go after them. We hate ICE, you know, all that stuff, right? It's another, and the Justice Department suit says this becomes a magnet. Yes, it does. It's part of it for more illegal immigration. It's part of the mindset. You're here illegally. We're going to take care of you. We're not going to charge you what we're charging American citizens who are one or two minutes away to come into New Jersey. In what universe is that correct? I remember over the years I've played, I covered this.

I remember going back and forth with a girlfriend Ukraine who was here illegally complaining that Villanova was charging her full tuition in Pennsylvania. Watch for this one. We'll be on it. We'll continue to talk about it. And to me, it's an example of just how out of control New Jersey is. By the way, We've talked a lot in Jersey about FIFA, this corrupt organization. You know, the world soccer nonsense coming here that is hugely anticipated. We've talked about Mikie Sherrill trying to jump in on affordability and charge people going to the matches $150 for a train ride with New Jersey Transit, which has dirty windows, clean the windows. I mean, really dirty. Filthy, you can't see out of them. uh 1290 i think it is usually that's 18 mile train bike now it's going to be 150 bucks well guess what you can park here in philadelphia if you go to matches at the link but uh prices for the round of 16 match on july 4th among others uh go for a hundred and fifty five bucks And if you have a bigger vehicle, $620. Oh, my goodness. Can we get Mikie Sherrill over here to help out? Here we thought Philadelphia remember was going to escape a lot of this. That's the way they postured. But $620, 620. That's what you're going to be paying if you're going to take your car and go to the games. It is remarkable stuff, to put it mildly, but look, FIFA is a corrupt organization. They made the deals with them. They're an all-time corrupt organization. By the way, one fun story of the day. This is the all-time. Then I'll give you the side question, and away we go. This is an all-time big sports run wild. In Jersey, they're looking to crack down on a scandal for corrupting flag football. This is a girl's flag football in New Jersey. It's not even a high school, NJ.com. It's not even a high school sport yet, but a controversial super team already has squads refusing to play. The college should achieve Asbury Park. Maybe Springsteen's the donor. has sparked recruiting allegations. In other words, you're allowed to recruit within 20 miles of the school. They're recruiting all over the place. They're in Asbury Park, and yet it's alleged they're recruiting, you know, 80, 90, 100 miles away. It doesn't matter. They hold right now at 323 to 20 advantage in total yards from scrimmage in a recent game in girls flag football.

I don't care what they do. You know, this nonsense with high school teams, I get it. But my God, somebody's got to say, that's it. That's it, buddy. And this is a school that's been known to do this in basketball. You're doing it in girls flag football, though, pretty bad. All right, I love the side question today. Well, they want to do it with Donald Trump Jr. So what we're looking for today, since this is in the news, you're all-time boss. We're looking for an all-time boss. Now, this could be real or, of course, it can be fictional. So I'm going to take off since Roe is going to see it. I got out of it. I dodge this one. She's gone with a girlfriend. Miranda Priestley. That would be the Devil Wears Prada 2. Sequel. I'm going to take off, of course, Michael Scott. At one point, I actually said the office was better than Seinfeld. I was wrong on that, but it is a great show. And I'm going to take off Gordon Ramsey. Gordon Ramsey as both... You know, his own boss as a chef, but then when he comes into a place and he has to change that place because it's deficient in his mind, that's pretty amazing stuff. So we'll get Henry's. I support Israel, but not this government and what they're doing. It's too far. And for me, all the extremes of all three major religions are too much. They believe their Bibles are it. Nothing else matters if you don't believe that you don't exist. And if you want to take it with the white Christian nationalists, the ultra-Orthodox in Israel, or the crazy, you know, Hamas and Taliban, something's wrong in every department there. All right. We're going to talk with Greg Jarrett, top legal analyst at Fox News Channel, about two cases. One, the Voter Act and the Supreme Court, and two, James Comey. That may differ with him a little bit on James Comey. I think he's going to be all into it. Is that the major sin with God? I'm going to ask him about Anthony Fauci, too. The clock is ticking. All right, Greg Jarrett is one of our favorites, Fox News analysts and commentator. He joins us here on the Dom Gerdano show. Hey, Greg, thanks for joining us, a lot of cases piling up this week.

Greg, I haven't heard you on this. With James Comey, I think they're bigger fish to fry. I agree. He shouldn't have been fooling around with this stuff, but is this going to meet, I'm talking about the 86 and the meaning of 86. Is that going to meet any criteria? I know we got the grand jury, but give us the odds here in your sense that this is, what standard do we have to have for him to be convicted of anything? Well, look, I concede, Dom, that it's a hard case to bring. For prosecutors, there are hurdles to be overcome. But I do think that the legal commentators who were quick to denounce the indictment as frivolous or absurd, I think they're overlooking several things. First of all, the cases in a conservative district, the Eastern District of North Carolina. And if there is a trial, that trial jury, even with a higher burden of proof, may agree with a grand jury that James Comey willfully intended to threaten the life of the president. But also the second count against James Comey gives jurors a choice of a lower standard of reckless disregard, which is easier for prosecutors to prove against James Comey. Now, other people in that very district have been prosecuted successfully for similar threats. So that undermines the claim that James Comey's lawyers made this weak in court of, oh, this is vindictive selective prosecution. No, it's not. They brought other cases. Now, look, James Comey will argue free speech. That is his primary defense in the case. But I would remind people that the Supreme Court in a seminal case back in 1969 stated that the First Amendment is not and never has been a shield for threats against the president. So a lot's going to come down to James Comey's intent. But I haven't to think prosecutors have a lot more evidence than the public knows. incriminating witnesses and documents according to the acting attorney general. That was a really good point. I haven't heard in the media enough, Greg, that you made about reckless disregard, particularly given his stature as the chief law enforcement officer. He should know better that we don't fool around. I mean, I'm really rigid. A guy the other day said something just weird toward Trump and immediately out of there. It wasn't a direct threat. I'm not taking any chances. This is the one office where you just can't fool around with this. That's what it comes down to. Yeah, I agree. And, you know, I suspect that the Department of Justice and the U.S. attorney have uncovered some important evidence that may blow a hole in James Comey's preposterous claim that, oh, gee whiz, I just saw some pretty shells on the beach. I didn't understand their meeting. I mean, look, this guy was the head of the FBI. The Bureau was trained in coded messages, subliminal calls for violence.

So, you know, his excuse is vacuous. It makes no sense. But the other thing I noticed in the indictment, there is a demand for forfeiture of assets. Now, what assets connected to this stunt? Well, it could be his book royalties because James Comey's threat, alleged threat against the president, was posted five days before his... book of fiction came out. And, you know, it thrust coming back into the spotlight. He had been nowhere, and it suddenly boosted his book sales. Well, the law says you can't profit from your own illegal acts, and thus the demand forfeiture. And by the way, Dom, that book, it was called FDR Drive. The plot involves using the Internet to dispense hateful rhetoric and insight violence. Oh, gee. What a coincidence. Boy, Greg, great thoroughness in this. One other area, too, seeing the Anthony Fauci Chief Lieutenant this week get indicted. The clock is ticking, as far as I understand, a five-year statute of limitations on Anthony Fauci himself, Wuhan, lying to Congress, Rand Paul says. Any thoughts on the Department of Justice doing something? Well, they're using this individual probably to flip against others. Look, there's ample evidence that... Anthony Fauci has blood on his hands, that it was his agency that was funding gain of function research in Wuhan. And there's no question, but that the pandemic that killed tens of millions of people came from that lab. But Anthony Fauci and his cronies appear to have tried to cover that up because he was directly implicated in it. So I think that's what this is all about. And, of course, Anthony Fauci himself received generously a preemptive pardon from Joe Biden. But that doesn't cover state charges that could be brought against Anthony Fauci, particularly out in California, where one of the leading Republican candidates, Steve Hilton, says that's one of the things he's going to look to do. if he is elected. I will say this. There are at least 18 to 20 that are not hot on this list that were present. Make 20, make that 25 at least. Whole stretches, Martin Van Buren, for example. My God. The first, I don't know how many are just like, all right, yeah, the powdered wigged look or whatever you're doing then. Yeah, I'm not putting Lincoln on there either. No. Yeah, yeah. All right. This guy was a real looker. He ran a campaign on it. I know he's back in the 1920s and it's preposterous. Warren G. Harding. Yeah. One of the hottest presidents of all time. He's my five. Oh, absolutely. You agree. He's on my list, too. He's not at five, though. Oh, you'll be even a higher. Yeah, I do. Who do you have at five? No, so five, I wanted to go with like a real rugged guy, you know, a real tough guy, you know. Someone that maybe is underrated, maybe by his looks, but like his stature, his vibe, it's like, oh, that's, that's, that's an attractive man. I got to go with Teddy Roosevelt here. Yeah, I was thinking of Teddy. The whole thing. It's a, yeah. It's quite the look. It's a striking look. I think he deserves a spot. The thing I like is not only when he gets shot, he's got such a long speech, the bullet gets deflected. But he finishes the speech. Yeah, exactly. Like a woman wouldn't like see that. I didn't get quite the agreement, though, on the APEC stuff that's going on here where Ryan Boyer, the head of the building trades, was on with us. And if you accept money for them, that means you're a sellout. You're a double agent, essentially. Well... It's a shame that somebody in such a position is so ignorant about the situation. And it's also amazing that candidates and pundits and people like that gentlemen are familiar with only one lobbying group of the tens of thousands of lobbying groups that are engaged in American politics. That's anti-Jewish. When you know only one...

pack, and it's not even a pack in the traditional sense. That's the only one you know, and that's the only one you name, and it just so conveniently happens to be Jewish-oriented, although there are people who were involved who were not Jewish, and who support A-PAC clearly. Let's talk about Governor Josh Shapiro, who is Jewish, has been running for president. Oh, I don't know. Third or fourth grade, it's hard to tell. And is really a national player. I mean, I have, as you know, back and forth with this guy. So he gets attacked. He and his family viciously could have been killed. Absolutely. And two things happen. One, he then doesn't follow up on the lack of accountability of protection by the state police. But two, he and his campaign and others downplay what the motivation of the maniac was because in the National Democrat Party, if you're running for president, you don't want to be talking about that's why this guy, at least on paper, wanted to kill you. You know, leaders have to lead, whether the leader is the governor of the state or the mayor of a city or potentially the president of the United States. And if the alleged attacker said, it's been reported that he said that he perpetrated the attack because he perceives that Governor Josh Shapiro is pro-Israel, again, as we were just discussing, when you're singling out,

that one country, it's anti-Jewish. When, you know, I don't know Governor Josh Shapiro's positions on any other foreign policy issues. I'm sure he has some. I'm sure he's articulated some occasionally, I would imagine. But again, when the issue is only Israel, only the Jewish state, only the country that has, the only country that has a majority of Jews among its population, that's anti-Jewish. And a leader has to call it what it is. And a leader has to say that anti-Jewish activity is not going to be tolerated. We're not going to let the United States become Nazi Germany. And Steve, to this point, back in the past, I remember Governor Rendell would come on. You know, it was an interesting debate. Was he right? You know, he was somebody you'd asked to run for president. He said no one Jewish at that point could be elected president because of the bias was there. As I said, it was a, you know, a conversation. But the suggestion was always, it's on the right. It's with Republicans or at least the right. They would be the ones that would try to stop. Now, it's pretty blatantly clear to me. The hurdle for Josh Shapiro or anybody else who's Jewish is the base of the National Democrat Party. This is where Hasan Piker goes to be an influencer. And again, you and I have just talked about it, just saying APEC, and you have no ability to be the nominee. You know, Hasan Piker has kind of, in a backhanded way, done the Jewish community and America writ large a big favor. Because his attacks against the United States and his attacks against the Jewish community and the Jewish state remind us all of the... close relationship between Israel and the United States, and that one who hates Jews and hates Israel and wants to see harm done to Jews and Israel also wants to see harm done and hates the United States. And that, and Hasan Piker is the embodiment of that. And we all have to make him the poster boy for that, that to hate and to be anti-Jewish is to be anti-American. And frankly, to be anti-American is to want to harm Jews and the Judeo-Christian pillars of this country and all that it represents. And that political figures are not only cozying up to him, but endorsing him by accepting his endorsement. is a horrible trend. Whether America is mature enough to elect somebody Jewish as president, I don't know. You know, Al Gore had Joe Lieberman, which is running mate on the ticket. And they, you know, they got millions of votes. They didn't win. They got millions of votes. So I think a candidate who is Jewish who is patriotic and has positions that are acceptable to a majority of the United States, I think could be elected president. Whether that's Josh Shapiro or not, I don't know. I don't know how far he's going to get. You know, primaries are tough. National primaries are very tough, and it's going to be a competitive field. But if he can't lead...

on such an obvious no-brainer issue that Jew hatred, and not only with words, it's got to be actions. You know, we issued a statement. really calling the governor to task. He's done some lip service about all of the vicious anti-Jewish activity that erupted in the United States and throughout Pennsylvania and then in schools. But he hasn't done anything of substance. Yeah, he bought a falafel at a place, and yeah, he's spoken at a couple of rallies. But what has he done? Has he... called on the General Assembly to pass stronger legislation to make crimes against Jewish people, Jewish institutions. with stiffer penalties, stiff for enforcement. He's done nothing about that. Has he ordered his Secretary of Education to investigate the anti-Jewish indoctrination happening in schools from pre-K to 12th grade in the universities throughout the Commonwealth? No. He's done nothing of substance, no action. So if he can't lead on something that is so obvious, I mean, the anti-Jewish activity is just... all over the place. It's blatant. It's obvious. Sometimes the media does the right thing and reports on the anti-Jewish activity. You know, you've got newspapers like the Inquirer that incite anti-Jewish activity, but other media sometimes... reports what's going on. It's obvious what's out there. I want to test some of these people. And yet they can take off today to go and agitate against Trump and learn how to become an activist, all paid for by taxpayers. They have their annual May Day with all the labor unions. And I just, the SEIU, yes, but the building trades and all. You think those guys are buying into the Bernie Sanders? We are looking for one of those bosses that is an all-timer. All right, here is something startling that's being talked about today. This will be cut eight. CNN's Harry Enten finds that Trump's GOP is making generational gains with... Black Americans. Here's CNN. African-American voters with black voters now versus this point in the first term. Yeah, I think what we're seeing right now in the numbers is President Trump and the Republican Party are chipping away at the long-term advantage that Democrats have had with black voters with African-Americans. You can see it right here. Look, Trump's approval among African-Americans at this point in term one, he was at 12%. You know, he's been losing ground with a lot of people. He's gaining. He's gaining ground with African Americans. He's up to 16% at this point. And you say, this isn't that big of a shift. But I will tell you, Republicans absolutely love the shift that's going on because Democrats have had such a long-term advantage. The fact that he's actually gaining ground versus where he was in term number one, this has major implications for elections down the line because Democrats, especially in a lot of these tight races, you talk about places like Georgia right down in the south, you see this type of movement for Trump actually gaining ground? This could have major ramifications and help put Republicans over the top in a number of southern places in the middle. term elections. But do you see this as part of a bigger trend? I see this as absolutely part of a bigger trend. Donald Trump's Republican Party is absolutely gaining ground, not just him gaining in terms of his approval rating, but look at the party ID margin, Kate, because this to me was absolutely stunning. Look at this. Party ID margin among African Americans at this point. In Trump term number one, Democrats had a 63 point advantage. That is absolutely fallen. Look at where it is now. A double digit shift away, Democrats, of course, have the advantage. But it's a 12-point shift to the Republican Party. And I look back through Gallup's records. They sent me their records. And this, in fact, lead that Democrats have is actually smaller than any lead from 2006 to 2021. So Democrats are leading. But again, we're talking about chipping away. Republicans are chipping away at this long-term advantage that Democrats have had among African-Americans. We see it in terms of Trump's approval rating. And we even see it to a wider degree among the party ID margin.

of a sudden there are a number of African Americans who are walking away from the Democratic Party and a number of them who are walking into the Republican tent. That is very interesting looking at that pass gallop information. Yeah. What does this mean for the race for control of Congress? Okay. So you see this right here. You see this 51 point advantage that Democrats have significantly less than you see that 63 point advantage. And what we will note was back in 2024, right? Donald Trump put in a historically strong performance among African Americans. Democrats perform the worst in a generation. Have they gained any of that coalition back from where they fell down to in 2024? But take a look here. Okay. Choice for election among African Americans. Kamala Harris was leading amongst that group in the pre-election polling by 63 points. Are Democrats gaining back any of that ground? It's a 62 point advantage now. Republicans are holding on of the gains that they made among African Americans in 2024. Republicans are gaining among African Americans. They are chipping away at that long-term advantage. The Donald Trump-led Republican Party is making gains among African-Americans that we simply put have not seen the Republican Party make in a generation. Fascinating. I don't know how much longer Harry N. can go on there. Wow. He's just out of breath. Yeah, out of breath. But maybe it's flip-filly red. Maybe that shipping away is going away here. Hey, Dom, I'm looking at these midterms that you're bringing up, and I'm not sure if you have been paying attention to what judicial watch has been doing over the last couple years. But they've been going state by state clearing off an eligible voters from voter rolls. Okay, and I mean, 400,000 in Colorado alone, 800,000 in Oregon alone, over 6.1 million voters are no longer on the rolls. Now, most of them is because maybe they passed, maybe they moved to another state, but it just removes that ability to cheat. And I think, I got to tell you something, Dom, I don't, come out, got 77 million votes. I don't think another Democrat is going to come close to that for a couple cycles. because I think that their voter rolls and their ability to cheat are going down. Their ideas are losing, and despite the fact that they had the media doggedly on their side, their program isn't selling. But I have a question for you, okay? Because we know what drives out to Democrats, aside from their stupid buzzwords like affordability, is hatred of Trump, okay? After Trump is out of office.

Do you think the Democrats will be able to gin up that much hate for whoever follows in his footsteps? And this is a serious question. Oh, no, no. I thought, I've thought about it. We're in agreement. No, I don't think so. Now, if it's JD Vance, due to the fact he was a BP, for one cycle by, you know, one step removed, they'll keep some of it. But no, we know this. The juices are with Trump. After that. more reluctant voters are not going to come out. So that is an event. The only thing I worry about, as you know, is Trump's not on the ballot on our side. He's got to transfer that and get busy doing it. Why are our people going to come out here? I'm just, I'm not seeing it. That's the only... Everything else is going well. The redistricting is going great. This Supreme Court case is going to make a difference of three or four seats. I feel better about the House. It's just getting the voters out there. I'm not sure. I think that when... I anticipate things in Iran, and they are taking a little long, I will admit, but I anticipate things eventually turning well for that. And once that's done, you know Trump and his ego. He's going to be out there telling everybody about it. And I think that will help, too, because I think he's going to do rallies, a last final, what is that, like a farewell tour, doing these rallies. But my answer to the side question, and I really enjoyed kicking that stuff around with you, Dom, my answer to the side question is somebody, I think, was an all-time cool boss, had sway with the ladies, and you never saw him. And early on, when I was going to the school, they were peddling all this crap, all this. very early on some of this DEI stuff. And I remember like playing these videos where we were younger on the VHS on, you know, all this crazy stuff. It was just out of control. And I'm, I'm shocked how much Philadelphia has turned. kind of nuts here. I mean, with what you have with McCauley and what's happening and who's coming to town and how they're embracing Hasan Piker, I'm shocked. I really am. Yeah, well, today, if you have a chance, don't want to ruin Friday, dip in four to six the coverage of their downtown Mayday. And look, Michael, my gripe is that some of these unions, they're Marxists or close to it. The building trades guys shouldn't show up and go. They're patriotic Americans. When are they going to rise up and say, now, we're not going to be with these people to kind of make the crowd size up and all that. They don't agree with these people. I mean, Dom, this is what I really don't understand. Many times I listen to you and you're saying, you know, what is, um, You even talk about, you know, Josh Shapiro. What is so, why does everyone like him? And this week in Philadelphia, since you're a Philadelphia and your most recent book, The Relationship, the Alliance, we're talking about Great Britain and America and yours about Israel and the United States in our Philadelphia welcoming. Hasan Piker and what's going on in this congressional race, doctor, your thoughts? Now, it's really kind of shocking. And I think I love the way you frame that question, Dom, that we look at the relationship with the United Kingdom, which has been our so-called special relationship. Tremendously successful visit from Charles III III in Queen Camilla this week. That was great. It reminded us of everything we had built on. Also, for those of us here in Philadelphia, pretty meaningful that the kickoff for our formal 250th celebrations was the visit from the British king. So, I mean, 250 years ago, that wouldn't have seemed possible. Yeah. Now it was, but you know, you look at the relationship with Israel, all these people who want to dump all over it, try to make it out to be something bad, something pernicious for the United States that should be rejected. And look at what we've just achieved in Operation Epic Theory. I was talking to a friend in Tel Aviv yesterday who said they had just gotten back into Israel on one of the L. Al flights. And he said, the landing. at Ben-Gurion right now is like landing on a U.S. aircraft carrier. There's so many American aircraft all over that airport. It's essentially become an American Air Force base over the course of this engagement. That's how closely we're working with them. That's what they're providing, the support they're providing to us throughout this operation. So, you know, for all of these folks, I just, you know, it's really disappointing. Anyone around here would give this any oxygen, but. from my perspective, the results, the proof, if you will, is in the pudding. Yes, absolutely. Now, the long-term strategy, and again, you've talked about this maybe the first week, we're on together on Friday, and we do see evidence of both the blockade and the financial distress Iran's in. It's just that we're in a political situation or we're in America and Trump hatred in one thing or another that we don't have the luxury of time. So do you have a sense this is working? Is it working quickly enough? Well, that's going to be the big question here. And we don't have infinite time, but we do have some time. And bear in mind, we also have a unique president right now in that he is technically in his first term, but he's not going to go for re-election.

And he already knows what it means to be president. I mean, there are so many things that's unusual about his situation. But from my observation, it has made him very confident that he is going to do the right thing. And he's going to do the right thing for the country. And that is ultimately going to be his lover. And it's not that he isn't intensely sensitive to folks and energy prices, particularly gas prices. Of course he is. And he wants those to come down. And in my judgment, he correctly believes that when we get this situation, resolved in coming weeks, and I think it is weeks, not months, that those prices are going to come down pretty darn quickly because there's a lot of pent-up product in the Gulf that will come out, a lot of eagerness. to get that supply back on the market. And so I do think it's going to be okay politically, but I don't think it's going to be okay politically for the Iranian regime. I don't think they can hold together. It gets worse by the day, Dom. They're looking at 10 million jobs lost if they don't pull themselves together in pretty short order. And that's something a regime, no matter how many guns it has, can't control that kind of unemployment, inflation, devaluation of currency, lack of basic goods and services. It's just going to implode if they don't take the deal that's on the table. Do we, is a problem here, we don't know most of the times in history, I think. There were leaders. We didn't take them all out. There was leadership. Is it conflicting leadership? Or is it, it's very splinters, you know, and who knows who is actually someone that can make a deal? I would call it a pit of vipers at this point. You've got all sorts of poisonous snakes in a small space all turning on each other. And everybody wants to try to grab onto what little piece of security secure their piece of the pie. So whatever assets they may still have, they're trying to get those squirled away, maybe out of the country or into some kind of very liquid form. And so they're all at each other's throats. The main power center appears to be a guy. a general in the IRGC named Ahmed Vahini, he probably controls the most guns, and that is going to give him the most power right now. The more technocratic types, like the Speaker of the Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, seems to have been pretty much sidelined along with the current president, Pesachan. So those guys seem to be, you know, without real practical power. They do have media power. They're some of the ones who are still on X. They're still giving statements to jury. journalists, they're appearing on camera, unlike the Supreme Leader, who hasn't been seen since he became Supreme Leader and issued a written statement yesterday, which isn't exactly confidence in inspiring in his state of health. So I think you're seeing that kind of division, and that also makes it very hard to come to a practical deal with them until they figure that situation out, because it's not clear who's making a decision. Absolutely. When this gets resolved, let's say I think that you're right, sooner rather than later, before the midterms. I wanted to have you just be thinking about, see what you can tell us. As we head to the midterms, I don't think foreign policy is going to be necessarily top of mind, but who knows? Is there anything out there, or do you think there's something where there's a clear distinction between the parties? It might be something people look at when they vote.

I do think there's going to be a division on NATO. Okay. I think that the president, his administration and conservatives are taking a long, hard look at NATO. And for those of us who have long supported the alliance, the transatlantic relationship, it is over time for this to happen. And I'm not saying abandon Europe, our biggest market, we should have strong economic and security ties. But we can't do it as business as usual. I mean, look at what the UK under Keir Starmer, not Charles III, but under their prime minister, Keir Starmer, has done to us over the course of... Operation Epic Fury and what they have not been able to do. They can't summon a single destroyer into the Mediterranean. His Majesty's Navy is a pale, pale shadow of what once ruled the seas. And that just isn't helpful to us. If that size of an economy can't provide military capability, well, then we should look at New Europe. We should look at Poland, Romania, the Baltics. Our new Scandinavian friends who have joined NATO, they are ready, they are on a wartime footing. They know the bear, the Russian bear, is on their borders, and they are preparing accordingly. The global, the southern parts of Europe, from Germany on down, Italy, Spain, even France, I mean, they just aren't on that kind of intense footing. And that's what we need right now. So we're going to have to reassess it. And I think that's going to be a major difference. But I agree with you. overall, foreign policy shouldn't be a major issue. I mean, it should be the issues in the midterms when we elect our representatives to Congress. Are the issues that touch the American people every day? So I think that's what's really going to drive this election. You've really put that on my radar screen. And I would say Trump's stance toward NATO is strengthened by what's going on here. It just saddens me because I think this is something, and you laid out how they've taken advantage. It is something that has worked, though, something that used to be a matter of faith. We all believed in it. But they've done a lot to erode that. And given what's happened here, I don't think Trump will suffer if he's pushing back on NATO at all. In fact, the base wants him to do that. Well, and he may actually make NATO stronger. The current Secretary General, Margarita, has said as much that NATO has to look in the mirror. They have to figure out if they're serious about investing in their defenses. And then the countries that aren't serious. And Spain's probably the most egregious fracture in this part. There have to be consequences. There is no mechanism to kick somebody out of NATO. You can leave NATO. You can declare your intention to leave and then there's a year discussion period and then you can get out. But you can't get kicked out. But you can get downgraded. So you can stop having senior officers appointed to major positions, which is something they love. That you stop. This is.

the most NATO thing ever. You stop getting called on early in sort of inter-country discussions. And so you get pushed to the bottom of the queue. And by the time you get to speak your piece, most of the major ambassadors have already left. So it's kind of like a faculty lounge along those lines. The Graham Platner guy, the guy with the giant Nazi tattoo on his chest, the oyster farmer, he's out there today speaking and saying he wants to lead a coalition against fascist. Maybe you shouldn't have gotten a Nazi tattoo, you jerk. He's not going to beat... Susan Collins in Maine. I think that's far-fetched. He will get, if he does, if you see an election night he did, then we are in for a wave. It indicates that these people that hate Trump are just coming out in waves just to lash back at Trump. I don't see it though. In fact, this is one of the most hopeful weeks as we end the week that I've had to think that Republicans have a decent shot in the midterms. The redistricting has blown up and gone against them. The voter rights thing from the Supreme Court is a big decision that could result in six to eight seats, gone the other way. And I saw this, and Henry, such a sportsman, I think you agree with this. A guy put this up on Twitter, and then I'll give you the rebuttal. The number of black American players in Major League baseball has plummeted to just 6%. offering a warning about what might happen when institutions de-emphasize diversity. We are, but here's the rejoinder. Answered by a guy on Twitter, the number of white male American sprinters competing in the Olympics 100 meters event has been zero. in the last 66 years, offering a warning about what might happen if you just let people compete fairly in a level playing field. In other words, no white sprinter can break through doing that. So they have not been on the Olympic team. That would be like 15 Olympics or something. I don't remember anybody. I don't know who's close. And if African Americans don't want to go into Major League Baseball, maybe they're going into other sports if they choose to go into sports. It's pretty simple. Yeah. Plus, MLB has gotten a lot more diverse and I don't know how last many, how many years were they're getting from players from Latin America or, you know, Asia. I'm beholden the no one but the American working class, which as Zohran Mamdani also says, is the majority in this country. Okay, buddy. And why Trump is so valuable, among other things, is Trump has broken through, broken that Democrat coalition that kept the white working class particularly in there with people they differ with. The memo, though, apparently hasn't gone out to the building trade yet. They'll be downtown today with all the communist socialist per May Day, fleshing this out. Those guys are patriots. They're good guys. They're good Americans. It's a shame they have to ally themselves with this. Any number of them have started to ally with Trump, though.
