Would You Buy Cheap Gas?

104 segmentsDom Chiodano on Talk Radio 1210, WPHD. All right, it is Dom time. Welcome in everyone. I'm so glad yesterday I was contacted. We had quite a day. I remember in one sequence, Pastor Bill Deblen and Rabbi Yona Gross over in Windwood were on. And the rabbi and I were talking about the fact this made-up controversy. where they will not do, I'm not sure if that's still a plan, it seems to go back and forth on 9-11, 25th anniversary too. The beautiful candlelight celebration, because people, I use the word, I guess, observant after sundown, wouldn't be able to be there. Well, that's not excluding anyone. You're excluding people if you don't let anyone do it because somebody else has a deeper connection to something important to them, which is completely understandable. And they would honor that versus being there at the candlelight ceremony. It's pretty common-sensical. Why do something like that? Well, they're a suspect. And a rabbi came on and talked about it. So he contacted me because yesterday we were talking about the fact this poll self-identified Jewish Americans. They gave Zohran Mamdani net favorable of 5% and NetNiahu a net unfavorable. I saw a 27% and 1. The initial poll was around 32%. So how in the world? Are we in a world? Just look at Zohran Mamdani. Look at the wife. Look at the body of work here. Look at the people around them. Even look at what I've talked about this morning, this immigrant enclaves. And who's left out? That's trying to erase people and diminish them and elevate others. Some people are saying, what are you talking about? The little Palestine. I would argue there is no such place. How do you like that? There's no Palestine. Where's Palestine? Where's that officially recognized? Where's Palestine in the world? Well, they haven't in New York City, but they don't have Hell's Kitchen, the Irish. They don't have Little Italy, etc. All right, let's go to the rabbi, see if he can solve this mystery. How is it people who this guy is in direct conflict with Israel? I would say with Judaism across the board, how would that be favorable? Rabbi Yona Gross on Talk Radio 1210. Rabbi, welcome back. And Rabbi, the congregation is what in Winwood? Oh, Beth Hamadrish. Okay. So, Rabbi, how would you characterize your congregation? I think listeners know there are various designations we might use in the Jewish faith. How would you designate your congregation? We're an Orthodox congregation that is welcome to all Jews. Okay.
And, you know, I hate just why we have you here, too, to clarify, because it doesn't come off. What's the thing that would distinguish when you say Orthodox? Is it a particular tenant, or is it some person in history? How does someone designate an Orthodox congregation? Right. So orthodox Judaism means that we believe that the Torah was given to Moses at Sinai as described in the Old Testament. And we continue to maintain all those laws as interpreted throughout the ages by the rabbis, by the rabbis by the rabbinic tradition. Now, if I asked in this survey, and these were self-described Jews, if they were Orthodox, I don't think Zohran Mamdani is going to get a net favorable there to you. No, absolutely not. In fact, I think unprecedented, the last year during the primaries, there were several congregations that wouldn't allow you to register for high holiday seating if you did not register to vote first to make sure that you voted in the primary as a hope to defeat Zohran Mamdani at that time. So it wasn't that they didn't explicitly say, vote against this person. It was obvious what they were attempting to do. I would say 99% is not higher of most Orthodox Jews in New York voted against Zohran Mamdani. Yeah, I'd be surprised. So what do we make of it? We hear the terminology that people are culturally Jewish, but they're not observant or even connected, certainly, to the faith in a lot of ways. Is your sense, those are the people that say, yeah, what's the problem with Zohran Mamdani? Yeah, there's always an issue in describing the Jewish people, because in a way you can bifurcate it between the nation of Israel and the religion of being Jewish, which is a challenge that the country of Israel faces until today. How exactly do we maintain freedom of religion, but yet still be a Jewish-Kunko-Jewish state? uh... so i don't know who are on this uh... who is called i didn't see the survey itself but i would imagine that most of the people who i'd say identify as jews would generally be a liberal people that probably are unaffiliated uh... and but still are identifying as uh... as jews which is their the right to do but uh... you know they're they're educated in the uh... culture in the secular world and in the Kay Ivey uh... universities and things like that and uh... that's generally where they're getting their worldview from. Okay. Under ordinary circumstances, I would say exactly the same thing, Rabbi. But when I saw this and the reason I talked about it yesterday, we have someone who can't hide it, particularly his wife, maybe even more than Zohran Mamdani. And they are, I would say, an existential threat to anybody that's Jewish. It's not just policy. The people and the things they can sort and travel in, well, they're at least a threat to Israel, if not to the average Jew. What would you say?
I think you're correct. I think you're right. But I think there are people that don't see it that way in terms of the anti-Trumpiness, the pro-socialism and things of that nature. They just got the imagination of those people, just like they've gotten the imagination of many of the upper-class people in many of these communities. In this season now with Iran again and the ceasefire and all, do you steer clear that during services? Is this something that comes up among your congregation? Oh, it definitely comes up. It's something I've discussed every day. I actually have an Iranian in my congregation that yells out after prayers every morning. May God destroy the Iranian regime as soon as possible. Wait a minute. I have to come to that prayer service that he yells that out. That's an act of a prayer. Exactly. I like it. Yeah. Yeah, it's very much on our minds. I think probably every member of my congregation, but almost everybody has close family members in Israel. And we also recognize the connectivity that if you're not just going after people in Israel, but going after us as well. Now, how about toward Benjamin Netanyahu? I am a fan of Benjamin Netanyahu still, and he's on my list. And I've tried multiple times even when I was in Israel to interview him. I see some of the things personality-wise here that you could be questioning, and I think not be anti-Semitic or anti-Israel. But the idea that we're committing genocide in Gaza, fueled by TikTok and a thousand other things, seems to have driven it to a level that you can't run in the Democrat Party, at least for the big offices, Senate, that kind of thing, unless... you go after Benjamin Netanyahu in ways that are incredible. Yes, that's very scary, very alarming to my community about how much that entire party has shifted. I remember going to A-PAC events. Six years ago, and every member of Congress came to meet with the delegation that came from their community. And Apex started doing their conference in a different way, and I'm not sure how that would be received nowadays. It's very alarming about the state about how Israel has become such a political issue and between the two parties. Looking back over the years, I'm not sure how it could have been avoided. With the cards that we were dealt, but it certainly is very alarming to us. Particularly, here's the thing to ask you, too, how hurtful this is. I think I asked you something like this before.
All right, before October 7th, it's one thing if you're a bit critical of Israel. But after October 7th, if your understanding is in here of what was done, these were not outliers, as we know, what they did, that was the tactic. They did exactly what they wanted to do. And after experiencing that, If your guard is not up, if you are not prepared to say never again, and no matter how many times it said, I identify with that where I grew up South Philly, not on a basis of what was done here, but just on a common sense basis, no, you're not going to repeatedly keep doing this type of stuff. Mm-hmm. Yes, people don't realize the phrase never again was actually started by Rabbi Kahana. He's the one who started, and he didn't mean it as this is just, it's not going to happen because it's just not going to. He meant it as never again are we going to feel defenseless and just allow things to happen. For now on, you know, Russian is going to be met with Jewish power. and we're going to make sure to fight back. It's not going to be easily done to us anymore. Absolutely. Well, Rabbi, tell us where we find you. Do you have a website for your congregation? A congregation is bethamedrish.org. I'll share, I have a son who was actually joining the Israeli Defense Forces in a couple of weeks. He's drafting him to be in there in the Israeli Army. And are we up to the side question? Oh, go ahead. Well, I wanted to re-invite you to Mulligans. We don't have the date yet. Everybody keeps on asking me, but you want to be one of our featured guys there. It was such a... hit with listeners that don't get a chance to hear stuff like this. So people, we haven't forgotten about that. But yeah, who took one for the team? Now, let's think of your background coming from. Are you going somehow or another into the scriptures or are you going into everyday life? I'll go a little bit more modern, but it's the 50th anniversary of the operation in Entabi, where the only person who passed away is actually the person that I'm named for, Yonatan Benjamin Netanyahu, and Yomino's brother. I was born a couple of years after that, and my class had a bunch of yonies in our class of different sources of that exactly. I would go if you want to turn Benjamin Netanyahu. That is unbelievable, yeah. And 50th year, and of course, one of the prides of Cheltenham High School. Mm-hmm. That is a very good one. Rabbi, it is an honor to have you. We'll be in touch very soon.
Mm-hmm. All right. Sounds good. Have a great thing. Thanks for having it. All right. Rabbi Yona Gross here on Talk Radio 1210. All right. The side question today, people liking it. Keep them coming. Robert have been Salem. Doesn't mean he's going to win on this. Shouldn't he be disqualified since he came up with a question? Oh, that's a good question. Yeah. Oh, okay. I say no. I'd say no, too. I mean, he does a heavy lifting, comes up with a question, then he can't win. Yeah. True. Better come with a great answer. Yeah, better. I mean, there's some heavy weights. Oh, there's a heavyweight. The rabbi and also the 93, the Flight 93. I, Lou Gaul, who was our great friend and movie critic, got me into movie critics watching Flight 93 for the first time. And I have to say, I was prepared. These guys, I thought, you know, they're not going to be. There were tears. I heard people sobbing a little bit in that. Yeah. And I just took from that, let's roll. And they knew what it would mean, but they weren't going to let them hit anything else. All right, so real or fictional. There's a lot of really good fictional ones, too. Did you say your fictional one, Henry? I know you... Batman. Yeah, but there was another fiction. You know, I want to say that one? I don't know if I remember. Grangerino. Oh. Yeah, I completely forgot. Yeah, yeah. I thought that was a great backburn. Yeah, I mean, at the end of Grand Torino, and he sacrifices himself in front of the entire neighborhood so all the thugs can go to jail. Yeah, I thought that if I were directing that film, he would have sacrificed them first. He would have gone down Broadway. Take it up with Clint himself. He is the director. Yeah, I know, I know. It was an unusual choice. It made for a more startling film, yeah. But I don't think that was his style. That's not what he would do. Maybe in his younger years, he'd have a shootout. He's an old man, curmudgeon, yeah. It's going out. Well, I mean, he was walking around with a gun constantly still, though. All right, it's 855, 839, 12, 10. That's how you get on board. I'm watching what's going on with the trial, the Charlie Kirk trial. I'm not sure the overkill or the media other than because they can be in the court showing it. Because to me, it's pretty clear what happened here. The big story with this is Tucker Carlson. I mean, I interviewed Tucker Carlson a bunch of times. I was on a show a bunch of times. I am just amazed at how deranged he is now, and complete derangement. Candace Owens, I only interviewed once at Penn up close. I'm not surprised. She'll do anything. But how do we believe, and I do, there's still millions of Americans following Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson and just wanting more and more conspiracy here. The FBI did whatever they're doing at this moment. That's the only play here. It's sad. It's obvious to me based upon the evidence that this is who did it.
I know it's hard to accept that this guy could hit him in a long range, et cetera, but we saw how powerful Kirk was and what a threat he was. That became obvious after this, and that's why this is definitely believable. By the way, Scott Presler is in town today for Stacey Garrity. He'll join us at 2 o'clock. Let's see. We do have another pair of lawn tickets to see. It's a double header. The opening act is the Chris Matthews band and the Dave Matthews band. Not playing hardball. Yes, that's right. That's my hardball, you. 855, 839, 1210, jump on board. Tom Giordano on Talk Radio 1210, WPHD. All right. In more Zohran Mamdani news here on the Dom Giordano program, the mayor called, well, says that he stands with the illegal immigrant who was killed after trying to run over an ice agent in Houston. An ice agent shot and killed him. His family learned of his death from the video before anyone else. And he notes that the president of Mexico announces she's pursuing legal action. against the Trump administration after an ICE agent shot this Mexican citizen who was illegally here for 35 years. And every time I hear Mexico and hear this president, I think, what would Ron DeSantis do if he were president? Look, Trump has done a lot of things that are bold. You know what I'm talking about. Ron DeSantis would go right after the cartels. We know where they are. We know their factories. We have a good set. I'm talking drone attacks and whatever else. I'm not talking Americans, boots on the ground, whatever. I'm talking about trying to wipe them out. And I believe he would do it. I hope the president considers that. As far as the situation in Iran, we are back to this, yeah, we're going to hit him, hit him hard. I told you this yesterday. These tired generals and others coming on saying that when there is no pathway by doing that. The inflation part will help to deal with this. It's a straight of our moves. Every resource to be put in there to reassure people they can get through. Is that doable? That's the question now. If it is, a lot of this evaporates. If it's not, then we're in a really tough spot. And by the way, How many investigations are going on on these freedom gas stations? And they don't they underlined, I think most of them have been at about 3.47 or so to 25 across the area. Don't they underline why are these others artificially keeping up the price? Not just at Sonoco Unwritten House, but now people are asking Wawa. Is their price legit? Look, you can charge whatever you want. I'm not going to say gouging or whatever. I'm a capitalist on this. But if they're able to be around that number and maybe going down, where's the rationale of why you're at these other numbers? Are you kind of slow walking that these prices should be coming down? I think it's a legit question to ask. And the only thing that's going to matter is,
And I wanted to ask you this, and I'll be honest, I'm not in the camp that I'm buying this gas. I don't trust it. Kirk, would you buy it? Absolutely not. Henry? Well, what's the issue with it? You're saying maybe it's not as clean? No, it's not environmental. I just worry about the inner workings of the car, and I've always done. Several people have texted me saying, no, I wouldn't buy this gas. Right, because it's not what? You don't want to put it in your car? Yes. That's some sense. So it's not as clean as you would like it to be. Right. Yeah, not the environmental sense, but the inner workings of the car. Right, that's what I'm saying. Yeah, right. Would you? Well, I guess if there's... No, I'll just go to a different gas station, I guess, in this case. Yeah, that's what I mean, I've never looked at it scientifically, just a gut reaction. I had to be desperate to stop at one of these knockoffs, and that's what this is. I did one time I went to a cheap gas station. I can hear the rattling now of the car, right? It was like years ago I had, I went to one of those cheap gas stations. Yeah. Like an hour or two later, her knocking, and I found out the who caused was the gas. I wouldn't be surprised. So I'm not sure, you know, this, I wish the inquire would center on that rather than thinking, oh, what's House Trump benefiting by this? How's Donald Trump Jr. behind this? How about an expose on the quality of the gas, despite the price? Is that something that we have a metric to determine? whether or not you would get that gas. So I thought I would ask you because it's proliferating. It's all over the place. And it underlines also. Republicans are trying, but they're not publicizing it enough to get a gas holiday to take away one of the most obnoxious gas taxes in the entire country given to us by a Republican governor, Tom Corbett, and Democrats. Jersey, Christy went into the tank. That's why Jersey's up. Why are we not saying that more? They're making some moves in Harrisburg to try to do it, and Josh Shapiro and others are not going to do it. Would you buy this gas? Let's go to Greg in the Northeast on Talk Radio 12. Hey, Greg, before we start, would you buy gas from places like this? This is absolutely incredible, you ask. About an hour ago, I was in Upper Dublin, and I went and paid $3.50. seven cents a gallon and yes, I put it in my car. Now, I don't feel high test up in my car. So, yes, I'm in it, and I'm going on a 700-mile ride in my vehicle now, so I'll let you know on Monday. Okay. I have a team of chaplain standing by here. The rabbi, too, we're looking over your vehicle. We're saying the right, 700 miles. All right, I'm not wishing anything. I hope you get through it. It's just like an independent. I'm looking at this way. I've never had any problems with it.
Now, when I had a higher-end car, I wouldn't have put it in there. Okay. But all these independent gas stations that you see, not as many up here, but down south, it's the same fuel. It's lower level of the tanks. Maybe it has a little more moisture in it, because I know a little bit about it, has some moisture in it, and it's not as refined. But it's not going to kill unless you have a high-end car that's always had premium or, you know, more than mid-level. Okay. So it's not going to hurt you. I can't imagine. I have to say this, Greg, you just triggered this. I've never put premium gas into a car in my life and don't plan to do it anytime soon. Well, I have a bunch of my clients all have high-end vehicles and they all want, you know, 90, no less than 91, but most of them what 93 in there. That's what I travel in. So. That hurts even when gas is down low. It's a ridiculous price. Oh, exactly. Exactly. Yeah. A few things before I get to my side. You asked yesterday, remember the Argentina had the Jewish flag? Well, that's because the coach of Egypt was wearing the Palestinian flag around his neck in the news conference. Okay. So that's what started off. Well, it's a non-existent place, so there's that Palestine. That's true. Right. It was just to start trouble. And I think the Argentinians were just playing with it also. So it was a pretty good shot at him. But my side is Russell Cash. From Independence Day, Randy Quaid. Oh, yes. Even though, Dom, I don't think anybody has a chance, nor should they, against the Flight 93. That's too serious and just too strong for anybody to have some. If it's funny, this guy's a great character because he's a drunk. He's a Vietnam vet. He's a, you know, he takes one for, he was abducted by it supposedly. But no one can beat real life heroes like that. That's where we should stand. Thank you, Greg. That's a fair point. We'll try to sort him out. We're looking outside the box, too. Don't be intimidated by any of them. I mean, you may have one that just. It has a tweak to it. It's a great question from Robert of Ben, Salem, though. Someone who takes one for the team. I've always admired that. It doesn't have to be spectacular bravery. It's just, it could be a little thing. We see it in sports all the time, or not enough of it anymore, where somebody does something that's not good for their statistics, but it's great for the team potentially. Okay. Coming up, I'm going to get to your calls, and I'm going to play you a little bit of sound because last night, or recent day, I'm not sure if it was last night or not, Medford has settled on what they're going to have to do to meet developers' demands for affordable housing in Medford, I guess Medford Lakes. And this is a town that voted for Mikie Sherrill over Jack Ciattarelli.
And I'm not going to let go with the bone of this. Look at what Cheryl's doing here. She's with the Norwegians doing that rowing stuff for the soccer matches. Meanwhile, Jersey went to hell this last weekend with all kinds of meltdown when it came to energy. She is a disaster, and she's going to be worse than Murphy because she's even more driven. And yet she won by over 14 points. I just, I'm not going to blame Jack Ciattarelli. I just don't understand it. Not alleging cheating. They always Democrats, of course. That's stipulation. Don't bother me. I stipulate that. I'm also monitoring. Oh, my God, what's going on in New York with Zohran Mamdani? and some of these groups by leaving out the Italians, the Irish, and the Greeks. I'll give you a little bit more on that. You get in at 855-839-12-10. Tom Chiodano on Talk Radio 1210. All right, it is Dom-time, 855-839, 12-10. People coming up with really brilliant ones today. Thanks to Robert of Ben-Salem. I'm all-time taking one for the team. So I was telling Henry during the break, this leaving off the Italians, the Irish, and the Greeks of all things in New York from these immigrant enclaves, this big rollout they have with the pinpricks on there, the dots and sending out there, we're proud of our immigrants. They put Africa town, two of them in, people coming from Africa, but not, man, a real, oh, I love it. This is the dagger here. They didn't put in a Harlem. They didn't put in, is there a place? I would say Harlem's more famous than Little Italy in New York. I'm not sure if it is the most famous. I mean, if you say Manhattan, everybody, yeah, Manhattan, right? Yeah. Or I'm going down Broadway. I'm going down Broadway. It might have to do something Philadelphia-esque that's similar to this. I don't know what our most famous thing, Broad Street, I guess, maybe a little. Yeah. And we need something, the Boulevard, the Roosevelt Boulevard, yeah. That'll get, nice street. It might be nice street. Don't call it the Italian market. Please. Anyhow. Yeah, what about Harlem? people now on them. What about Harlem as an immigrant enclave or as an enclave from people, at least coming from the South, the Great Migration, things of that? How do you leave Harlem off this as people that emigrated to New York in huge numbers and how the significance in the Harlem Renaissance? How in the 1920s or so with all that was going on negative to African Americans, you have the Harlan Renaissance, Langson Hughes, great poet, one of my favorite poems. How do you do that? Well, when they get together out of spite and being miserable and decide we're going to put little manila and little Yemen in here, but not little Italy, this is what you're going to get.
So which group? The Italians are making the most noise. I'm starting to see some of the Irish now, too. But, you know, it's right there in the title, Little Italy. You know, how can you leave it off? Of course, we've heard from Zenos and another Greek guy, Philip, they've been well represented. And then I told you the other part of it, though, we don't want to go too far. Kirk doesn't use the hyphenation. You have this Brianna Lyman who writes for The New York Post is obnoxious, in my view. Broke can't even stand her. There are a few women on CNN, the Abby Phillips Show, Henry, when they come on, and the kid, the kid that got Scott Jennings to go over the line, mackler. Oh, man. Yeah. DJ loves him because he does get under your skin. He loves the provocation. Grow instantly, the smirk. Constantly with the smirk. And she taught pre-K, any kid with a smirk like that, there was going to be trouble. So this whole thing with Zohran Mamdani is blowing up. It's a tell of how hateful and miserable this whole group is. How in the world would you leave them out? Because there's erasure. There's intentionality here. All right, let's go to Robert of Ben Salem, Victory lap for this great side question. Hey, Robert, good afternoon. Thanks for the side question. Anytime, Don. Henry, thanks. Good to talk to you guys today. Real quick, before I get to the side answer, and I understand if I'm disqualified, it's all good. I love it anyway. But before I get to the side answer, it occurs to me that they're going to replace Graham Platner with another socialist, and all they have to do is find one who doesn't wear Nazi tattoos is fairly nice to women and isn't turned on by porta-potties. And that couldn't be too hard up in Maine. Can they throw a bottle at women and say I'm a logger? Well, that's good practice if he ever wants to be like an Antifa member or something like that. Yeah, I know I hear what you're saying. But, Robert, I'm telling you, I don't think they can do that. Two reasons. One, the whole Graham Platner thing are these wild leftists. And two, the people that are going to make up this convention as far as I know are the activist. So they're going to try to split the difference, and it's going to backfire because it'll be a socialist who has some wild things, but maybe not as many as Graham Platner, and that's going to be trouble in the end. Well, Colin's secret to winning, since there's less Republicans and Democrats in Maine, is that she always does well with the independence. Yes. The independents aren't going to leave her for a socialist, and even if they don't pick a socialist, they're seeing chaos on the Democratic side, and they're seeing stability with Susan Collins. I would tell you a big picture. My only regret with this whole thing, and I may be way off. Focus on the Senate. We've got to hold the Senate. Of course, we have to hold the Senate. You know what I'm thinking. I don't see us all out for what I would do if I were in Johnson's place. I'm winning the House. I don't care how many billions I have to. Even voting for Brian Fitzpatrick, I'm winning the House. That's what I got to do because we are going to keep the Senate. If we don't keep the Senate, we're not going to keep the House. It's one of those things where, you know, that's how to go. You're absolutely right, but I'm still in the campus says we're going to keep both houses.
At least I hope so because I have a bet with Gary from Newtown on it. I would tell you on election night sitting here, it's going to come down to two or three seats. It's going to be that close. Oh, I don't think it's going to be that close. I think we're going to be up by 10 to 15 seats. Oh, man. I don't want to take that back because I don't want to wish against it. No, I hear you, man. I hear you. But my answer to this side question, and I'm surprised Zenos didn't take this, may he forgive me because I'm going to use his ancestors. But when Alexander de Great was doing his thing across Asia, he came upon a city called Sogean Rock. And it was a little city, a mountaintop city. It was 300 feet up. And it was surrounded on three sides by a sheer cliff. And the only access road was a very narrow, steep road going up to the city. So they didn't want to try to attack up that. And in fact, the people in the city were yelling down at the Greeks. You're going to need winged soldiers in order to beat us. So he came up with a plan where he got 300 volunteers. to try to scale the cliffs at nighttime, okay? 300. And they stressed to them that we needed secrecy, so no matter what happens, don't make any noise. Well, on their way up, 13 of them fell to their deaths, and not one of them made a noise while they fell to their deaths. And the ones that made it up shocked the residents of the city so much. that they immediately surrendered before the main body could come up the access road. But them guys, they kept their mouths shut while they were falling to their deaths and optimized, taking one for the team, not to get rid of the other answers because, Don, there's been some great answers. I'm glad I sent this to you. Oh, I was so glad you did. Thank you. And I really appreciate you guys. Have a great doubt, right? Yeah, sometimes the question's magic. I still think, boy, why did I think the girl next door, and it might be okay, it was just singing. The one I knew is what song for Dan to dance with his mother. I knew that was going to be trouble. We couldn't get rid of callers for days with that one. But I just want to tell you this one. He's got to do this. The most female cars we've ever gotten was that one. All right. More calls coming up. And this Freedom Fuel Station, would you put that gas into your car? I'm saying it, you know, I'm so glad they're doing this. But I just hear the knocking of the engine just thinking about it. And that may be not scientific. I'm sure it's okay. But there's got to be a difference here why in the world this is happening. Media could talk about that. Instead, they want to talk about how is Trump doing this? Don't you want lower gas prices? How about asking why in the world some of them are still charging $4.99? I mean, that would be an interesting thing. That is just robbery, except it's America. If you want to pay for it, I'm not going to stop you. I'm not going to say gouging. That's up to you. Yeah, they are. It's robbery. But it's a capitalist thing. If you're a dope, well, then how do we protect against that? All right, phone lines are 855-839-1210. Tom Chiridano on Talk Radio 1210, WPHT.
All right, a little update from Robert's question about Graham Platner and what happens next. So Ro Khanna, one of the big guys, Democrats, Socialists, all that, has jumped in and endorsed Troy Jackson. That's the logger slash former speaker, alleged bottle thrower at a woman in a fierce debate. And in the end, I think that's going to be the guy. What they're going to say is, look, Graham Platner likes him, Medicare for all, yada, yada, yada, that kind of thing. And he doesn't have the baggage of Graham Platner. Well, who would have the baggage? But if it's truly, he threw a bottle and hit this woman, that's going to be an interesting moment. And the wildest thing with Graham Platner, in some ways to me, after all is said and done, taken off the condom repeatedly. with that woman who came one of the girlfriends, alleged girlfriends, about that. Bill and Bucks with Dom, Talk Radio 1210. Hey, Bill. Hi there, Dom. Good to talk to you guys again. Same here. Yeah, right. And I did want to make a comment about the Freedom Fuel Network. Yes. I notice now there's three of them here in Bucks County just on Street Road, you know, War Minister, Upper Southampton, and also one in Pennville. And the price all seems to be exactly the same at 357. Yeah, it's a consortium, yeah. So would you put it in your car? I don't see any reason why not, because... formerly the night before that was a united station and i don't think that they changed the tanks out you know overnight i think it's the same dash is still there i wouldn't do united either though that's what i'm saying that's a bias that uh you know maybe um i'm not scientific just gut on that that's what i'm saying i pay the same price of costco 357 okay That's what it is. Okay. Yeah, I wouldn't trust it. Yeah, right. You know, these are these unknown stations without names. I get it. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. Yeah, right. But it seems to be there's, they're just popping up everywhere, you know? I mean, just to see three of them just along one highway that I travel from Warrington to Benzales. You know, I mean, incredible. Well, I just hope Republicans remind Trump is trying to remind them of portability. Well, this is helping. Yeah, right. Well, yeah, right. I see it must be a slim margin on that, though. I mean, because right down the street, it's $3.99 at, you know, Sunoco or Wawa. Well, and you know, when you raise an interesting thing. What are people going to think? Are they going to think they're robbing me at $3.99? I don't know about $3.99, but $4.99, you're definitely robbing people, but it's America. You have a right to do it. Well, that's the capitalist society. Yeah, but I just don't understand consumer behavior when I go by that written house square, Sonoco, Bill. It seems to be the normal traffic they have, and they've done this for eight to ten weeks at $4.99. Yeah, well, I think they can put whatever they want. You don't have to stop there. Right, but what I'm saying is what's compelling people to do that when you have alternatives like this?
I don't know. I can't answer that. I don't know why they do that. I don't know. What's your side, Bill? My side is really an anti-side. It was a want-to-be-could-a-would-a-should-a- should-a-could-a-could-a-could-a-t be, been take-one for the team, but he didn't. And it was an Eagles running back. back in 1995, and he had his famous phrase, he didn't want to get hit. So he said, for who, for what? And that was Ricky Waters. Yeah, that is an all-timer. Ricky Waters, in all-time. I'd say almost anybody that plays for the Mets, particularly the shortstop and Juan Soto. I don't see. I ever take him on for the team. Yeah, really. Oh, my nail is a little bit clipped here. I'm not playing today. Who runs these outfits that's willing to pay $700 million around that? A great. Billionaire. Well, yeah, but I mean, how does a guy become a billionaire and make such bad decisions? Because he knows money. He isn't a baseball? It happens all the time. Not to this degree. Well, I look at like the Mavericks, too. Like they were billionaire. They bought it out from Mark Cuban. What did they do? They had a guy that traded away Luca Donchich. Okay. All right. So, again, it's 855-3-9-12-10. That's how you get in. On-deck Circle. We had a great Scott Presler. Scott, at least on Twitter, I'll ask him about it, put up information about non-citizens about the voting rolls again here in Pennsylvania. There's a threat by the Trump administration to go after the officials. That would be Secretary of State, Al Schmidt. Well, they ought to do it. Let's stop all the threatening and all this. Let's follow through because they will not comply with ridding the list of this. The Save America Act is the only thing that will do it. We don't even know. Well, one congressman said today he didn't even know if Mitch McConnell was alive or not. So how do we get to this point with the Senate? I'll ask Presler about that, and he's in town. Stacey Garrity is having a big event tonight. We got some Josh Shapiro stuff. We have another nut in Delaware County who apparently threatened him, has been arrested, and he made a religious slash ethnic slur around it. I don't know if he's a Democrat or not, but most of the party thinks that way. And Josh Shapiro should have been more out there. calling out the guy who attacked his family and attacked his house. And also a judge says the family that lives next door to Josh Shapiro can sue him not as a governor, but as a neighbor. All that. And we have Dave Matthews band tickets. That's coming up all in a big two o'clock hour on Talk Radio 12-Tal. Tom Jiu-Dano, weekdays noon till 3. From Talk Radio 1210, WPHD.
