Orlando's News and Talk. Let's go in depth on one of our top stories. It has you talking on the WDBO open mic this morning. As we learn more and more about these groups, these radical leftist groups who are causing havoc all over the nation and have for several years, the New York Post reporting this morning that... To nobody's surprise, I guess. George Soros is the guy behind these anti-ice protests in Minneapolis, Minnesota. There is a group called Indivisible Twin Cities that has led many of these protests against ice raids there in Minneapolis, where Renee Nicole Good was shot and killed Wednesday by an ice agent. Tragic incident, no doubt. But according to this New York Post report Indivisible is an offshoot of the Indivisible Project in Washington, which bills itself as a movement to defeat the Trump agenda and actually received $7.85 million from Soros's Open Society Foundations between 2018 and 2023. And by the way, this is the same group. that was also behind the recent pro-Venezuela protests that we've seen, and those No King's events that we've seen as well last year. So very, very interesting, more and more information coming out about how these protesters, these agitators are being funded. Meantime, when Grady Judd speaks, I listen, I know most of you listen as well. So the Polk County Sheriff... Apparently got a lot of media requests yesterday to talk about the ice shooting in Minneapolis. So without further ado, the floor is yours, Grady Judd. Let me make one thing abundantly clear. You have to be accountable for your conduct. And that starts with the mayor. Did you hear his filthy talk? Did you hear his filthy, uninformed talk yesterday to the people not only of the city and the state, but across the nation? Shame on you. That's lack of professionalism. Now let's look at the event. The investigation is not complete. I am giving you context on the video clip that I saw. Law enforcement officers, federal law enforcement officers, ICE agents, were trying to take the occupant of the car out of the vehicle. During this encounter, the vehicle backed up and then drove directly at the ICE agent. That is a deadly weapon. a two-ton deadly weapon. So what did the occupant expect? They should have expected to be shot when you commit a deadly assault on a law enforcement officer. So let's do this. Let's send out the message loud and clear. And it should start with the mayor, the police chief, the local sheriff.
and the governor of Minnesota. Cooperate with law enforcement officers. Don't resist them. Don't violently resist them. If you do violently resist them, if you do felonious assaults with two-ton weapons. Expect to be shot. Expect to be shot. That man is a central Florida living legend. Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd, go ahead, make Grady's Day. So what did you think of those comments? Let me know. Keep tapping that open mic in the WDBO app because this is where Orlando sounds off. It's 812. Now, WDBO, I'm Skadinez. Orlando's morning news. We do have your weather and your traffic every six minutes during your morning drive. It is partly sunny and 64 degrees at Orlando's severe weather station. Still dealing with this rat alert on the Turnpike southbound approaching the 429. What's the latest, Ed Torrance? And, Scott, we still have that crash there on the Turnpike with a right lane block. Delays begin approaching State Road 50. So allow for a lot of extra time. You can take 50 as an alternate. to avoid the bulk of those delays once you can exit in Oakland. And then you got a crash on the 408 heading westbound just after the Rosalind exit.
