You just heard the CPI number coming in surprisingly cool at 2.4% inflationary growth year over year. But that wasn't the whole story. Once again, CNN's Matt Egan. Economists look really closely at core inflation, which excludes food and energy. Core inflation came in at 2.5%. That's notable because that's the lowest annual inflation rate for core since March of 2021 before the inflation crisis. That's significant because what this shows is not only is inflation going the right way and significantly the right way that the predicted tsunami of inflation that was going to happen after Liberation Day simply didn't. The reality is, is that the Trump economy is going gangbusters, but the traditional media is not talking about it. In fact, during a hearing earlier this week, we sort of had confirmation of just how it is the media is going to cover. any of this when attorney general Pam Bondi very rightly said the only reason that democrats are focused on the epstein files all of a sudden remember these are the people who are laughing at conspiracy mongers on the right from 2019 when epstein was found dead in his jail cell until the exact moment that

I actually, a couple of weeks ago, put up $1,000 of my own money for a single lib to be able to call up and provide any proof whatsoever that I'm unable to refute that Donald Trump was secretly part of a global pedophile ring or committed any sex crimes with Jeffrey Epstein. Shocker, no lib even came close. But when Pam Bondi said, this is a distraction from the fact that the Dow is at 50,000, this became the new left-wing talking point that somehow Pam Bondi was waving away the concerns of the Epstein victims while saying, well, you should be happy because the Dow is at $50,000. And just as a brief aside, You do realize that every single Epstein victim could very easily name names. Well, Dan, they would be sued. No, truth is an absolute defense of any sort of defamation lawsuit. They know this. If any one of them was going to accuse Donald Trump... of sexually assaulting them when they were underage. You don't think every left-wing law firm in the world would be lining up to defend them against a potential defamation suit. You don't think some left-wing judge, just like the one in New York, who awarded the most ridiculous defamation award, I think I've ever seen in my life to E. Jean Carroll, who remembered absolutely no details from anything. surrounding Trump's alleged rape of her. In fact, it's very obvious she made the entire thing up. None of this makes any sense. But Pam Bondi was right in the sense that the media would much rather chase its tail on Nancy Guthrie. In order to distract wholeheartedly from every other story that's going on. And Fox News, who I normally like very, very much, is every bit as guilty as every other network on this. But the real distraction has been from just how much the economy is turning around. The Dow Jay Jones Industrial, the NASDAQ, the S&P 500, all hitting...

record highs. Since President Trump's inauguration, the S&P 500 is up 13%. The NASDAQ is up about 21%. The Dow Jay Jones Industrial Average also roughly up 13% from Trump's inauguration. Now, that only tells part of the story. And yes, the stock market is not the broader economy, although so many Americans do have significant exposure to the stock market through their 401ks or other retirement vehicles. So yes, this is a pretty good indicator of how it is that people are doing financially. But a much better indicator isn't reflected just in inflation. which over the course of the Biden administration was eating everyone's paycheck. Remember, it costs the average family of four by the end of the Biden term, an average of $21,000 more per year. or the average family of four, then it costs to buy the exact same goods and services to pay for the exact same mortgage or rent or utility bills as it did before Biden took office in January of 2021. This had a devastating impact. Never before in American history did not only prices of everything go up as quickly and as high as they did. But you also simultaneously had wage slowdowns such that wages were entirely getting eaten up by inflation. The average American actually saw in terms of real hourly wage a paid decrease under Joe Biden. That trend has actually reversed. For the first time in four years, average Americans are getting real wage growth under the Trump economy. A big reason for that is that there is significantly less competition, especially at the bottom end of the American employment spectrum. from the estimated 2 million illegal aliens who are no longer in the American workforce. As we reported on the Dan O'Donnell show yesterday, there is an estimated 2 million fewer illegals in this country thanks to what we can verify, 675,000 deportation arrests and subsequent deportation actions. And somewhere in the neighborhood of 2 million to 2.3 million illegal aliens who have voluntarily self-deported using the CBP1 app that the Trump administration, upon retaking office, immediately reconfigured from the Biden administration's use of it as a way to shuffle illegal immigrants across the country for electoral and congressional redistricting gain.

to a tool for which immigrants could apply to essentially leave the country voluntarily get free airfare and travel expenses home a two thousand dollar bonus just for leaving the country and priority access just in case there is a need for visas or green cards or something like that it is an incredible offer and when it's compared against what illegal immigration costs this country on an annual basis It's a relative bargain. Because so many people have left, there is no longer that massive pressure, not only on the job market, but also on the housing market. The biggest cost and the biggest cost increase for people over the past four years has been the dramatic spike in rent and in mortgage costs. And the major driver of that, regardless of what left-winger's in the media or politics say is the fact that all of a sudden. In the span of just four years, there were 10 million to 15 million new people showing up in this country, all competing for roughly the same number of existing homes. When you have more people, more competition for a given resource, and there's no subsequent increase in the amount of that resource. That's the dictionary definition of inflation, more dollars chasing fewer goods. Well, when the good is housing and everyone needs to be housed and the government is paying top dollar to apartments, to hotels, to anywhere and everywhere to house all of the illegals who are coming into this country, American citizens are frozen out. All of a sudden, people looking to get a start on life to buy a starter home or to rent their first apartment, guess what? They face significant competition. The prices go up. Not only that, you have baby boomers reaching retirement age who are healthier than any retirees have ever been in world history and saying, you know what, I don't need to downsize. I don't need to go to a one-bedroom condominium on the first floor. I can still manage my house. All of that has contributed to a lack of supply. Guess what? Housing costs are coming down. Gas prices have gone down significantly after the Trump administration embarked on an immediate and aggressive push to dramatically increase domestic energy supply. Gas and energy that underpins.

Today's inflation reading, yet more evidence that Trumponomics is working. Fox News reporter Peter Ducey explains just how well by comparing the first year of the Trump administration to the first year of the Biden administration. We look at overall inflation for the first year of Trump versus Biden. Biden, overall inflation was up 4.3%. Higher than Trump, just up 1.6%. Groceries under Biden in that time. Up 3.8%. With Trump, up 1.3. And then when it comes to gas, this is crazy. Biden, up 24.4%. With Trump, it is actually down 5.4%. That is where the biggest difference is. Why do you suppose gas prices have varied so dramatically? A lot of people forget that on the very first day of the Biden administration, January 20th of 2021, he engaged in a series of executive actions, most likely signed via the autopen by one of the cadre of 30-and-40-something they-themes, who assumed for themselves the power of the presidency, while Biden remained largely an invalid. What this did was to dramatically restrict the United States' ability to draw on its own natural resources. Now, if you've been following this show and if you've been listening to the Daily Trump Day, every single day at 4 o'clock, we try to provide you with a quick update. five minutes or so about what happened on that day in the trump administration you'll know that we have focused on the trump administration's hyper focus on natural resources that the united states is able to pull up from underneath its own ground as well as rare earth materials that we can get either from this country or say oh i don't know greenland or underneath one of our allies This has had a massive impact on getting the inflation rate down and bringing down prices on everything. Because if you think about it, what does every single thing that is produced in the world and sold at a market need energy? Every single thing. It needs at minimum, even if it's, say, a farmer's market, right? Your local farmer pulls up some carrots and then sells them every Saturday morning in the nearby town. How does he get those carrots from point A to point B? Almost invariably, unless he is a long distance runner, he's going to drive his pickup truck to get them to the farmer's market.

On a much broader scale, we have an economy that is more interconnected than ever before, where goods are shipped from across continents requiring a tremendous amount of energy. Now, let's say domestically that once those products get into the United States, they get put on trucks and they get shipped from... China, most usually, to an Amazon warehouse. If it costs a lot less to get those products, which remember probably are going to cost the same or at least somewhere in the same price vicinity to manufacture, it costs the same amount to make a pencil. You need the wood, you need the graphite, you need the little metal for the thing that connects the eraser, you need the rubber or whatever other material makes up the eraser itself. And there is some sort of labor or capital cost in terms of putting that together. What is ultimately more variable is the cost of how much it takes to light the factory that makes those pencils, and especially how much it costs to put those pencils on a boat, put those pencils on a train, put those pencils on a truck, and get them to the store for the ultimate transaction with the consumer. Every single thing is therefore dependent on the price of energy. The single biggest change in economic policy that we saw is the resurgence of domestic energy production. Because just as President Biden on the very first day made it much more difficult and thus much more costly to produce domestic energy. President Trump on his first day, and really throughout his first year, made it far more cost efficient. It made it far easier for the United States, not only to satisfy its own energy needs, but also to sell cheap energy, gas, natural gas, crude, whatever. to other countries. This has also had a massive national security component as these countries are less dependent on OPEC, less dependent on Russia, less dependent on the world's worst actors, and more dependent on the United States who we want to be the global leader. At the same time, President Trump has leveraged the economic power of the United States. in what isn't so much as a trade war as was initially feared and initially panic mongered about, but rather a trade rebalancing. President Trump, yes, is not at his heart a free trader. In fact, he's far closer to Bernie Sanders on the issue of trade and domestic reshoring than he is to Ronald Reagan. That's simply a fact, a fact that Democrats don't want to accept that he is far more akin to them on significant issues, especially when it comes to trade.

But what he has been able to do is without dramatically increasing the cost to consumers of a pencil or anything else for that matter, he has been able to rebalance America's trade relationships with both ally and enemy alike. Of course, the toughest nut to crack was always going to be China. But what the president has been able to do is to dramatically increase the revenue that we are getting through tariffs from other countries. Well, engaging in the very difficult balancing act of not dramatically increasing prices to consumers. And a big reason for that is because the simultaneous removal of so many people who have no earthly business being in this country but were let in. under the truly horrific Biden administration policy, which just may go down as the single most disastrous in the history of this country to just open the borders wide. and unleash a whole torrent of people to compete with american citizens for jobs for homes for resources for everything it's not just about the crime if every single illegal immigrant committed exactly zero crimes if they were all perfect citizens they would still have a dramatic cost attached to them They use American schools. They use American hospitals. They use American fire departments, police departments, all things paid for with American taxpayer dollars. Every single study that has been done on the net contribution or net detriment that illegal aliens have over the life of their time in the United States has found that they are a net drag on the economy, meaning they cost far more in social services. They cost far more to taxpayers than they ever contribute to the tax base. Imagine if all of a sudden millions of them. are just gone now imagine first of all millions of them just show up out of the clear blue sky they're just allowed in the the the doors are just open we have the single biggest short-term influx in people in this country's history history 10 million people in four years just boom in here down now take care of them now imagine a significant percentage are gone Just as their sudden arrival was contributing to prices going through the roof, their sudden removal is causing an ease on that inflationary pressure and having a fantastic impact on Americans. Over the first year of the Trump administration, the second term...

Every single net job has gone to an American-born citizen. From 2019 through January 20th of last year, 2025, every single net job went to a foreign-born worker. That doesn't necessarily mean an illegal, but all the net jobs were going to the foreign born. That trend reversed. Not only that, the Biden administration was dramatically increasing the size of government and Democrats in liberal states. were doing the same government hiring was responsible for a significant portion of every single jobs report under the biden administration Under the first year of Trump, not only were all net jobs created, private sector jobs, the public sector actually shrunk by an estimated 250,000 federal jobs. In other words, in pretty much every single aspect, the first year of the Trump administration culminating in this pretty incredible CPI report has been an unmitigated success. And one of my favorite things that has been going on the last couple of days is people are posting famous movie quotes as if they were spoken by these young looksmaxers.

My favorite thus far has got to be from the Bible. Mog not, lest ye be mugged. So not only do we maug the libs, and we will. in what I think just might be the funniest unhinged liberal of the day that I heard all month. Strong contender for unhinged liberal of the month. As a reminder, we are going to name 12 unhinged liberals of the month. January, it was the woman screaming, bleep off, bleep off, bleep off to a group of duck hunters. That one might not be defeated. At the end of the year, we are going to make all of them do battle. We are going to have a mug off of all of the unhinged libs until there could be only one, sort of like Highlander, unhinged liberal of the year. But not only do we do that. We have fun and we poke fun at the lips, but we actually dive deep into the issues and do exclusive analysis and stories to help you better understand. Like, this CPI report does not exist in a vacuum. It's not just a one-off. This fits into a broader policy of the Trump administration, sort of taking back this country and reconstituting the American economy towards Americans. What a concept. Yes, they were wagging their bilboes outside of the federal courthouse. Don Lemon and a number of co-defendants did plead not guilty this afternoon to federal charges that they actually deprived everyone inside a church that they stormed and ended the service because they were protesting against ice activity. One of the co-defendants you might remember is a charming character by the name of William Kelly. Yesterday, I went into a church with the Keema Armstrong and I protested these white supremacists. The pastor of the church is a fucking ice leader in the city. How can you be a fucking pastor and be a fucking ice agent? Fuck them. They want to come after me? Fuck them. How can they live so comfortably? While the fucking people from Somalia that are in this country legally, they have fucking citizenship, can't even go to their mosque and pray. How do they deserve any fucking different? Fuck those fucking Nazis. Come and get me, Pam Bondi, you fucking traitorous bitch. all power to the people all power to the people ending it just that is that is like the chef's kiss cherry on top uh for william kelly who does face a significant amount of federal prison time one thing that you have to worry about this with this case is the concept of jury nullification is a very real threat where a jury made up of libs simply decides that they are not going to convict a fellow lib no matter how insanely guilty they might be Americans first really experienced this concept more than 30 years ago in the OJ verdict that was the classic case of jury nullification The jurors probably were low IQ enough to truly believe that OJ was innocent, but I think deep down, and a number of them have since said, yeah, we totally thought OJ was guilty, but we decided through the power, and there is jurors do have absolute power to ignore the law in this country. to essentially nullify a law and just decide, yes, we do believe that this person broke the law, but we're not going to convict them. You effectively have what I've been calling judicial nullification over the course of the first year of the Trump administration, where the clear letter of the law and every constitutional interpretation is on Trump's side, but you've got federal judges, most notably James Bostberg.

who simply ignore that and instead substitute their own feelings or their own tortured interpretation of what they imagine the law to be. So don't be surprised if a federal judge, that's why this concept is why I was so shocked, ladies and gentlemen, that we actually did see a conviction in the case of Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan. I'm still not entirely convinced. that the federal judge Looney Lynn Aedleman, as my good friend Mark Belling has called him for decades, isn't going to simply throw out that verdict because we have a very real problem in this country of liberals behaving as though the law doesn't apply to them because when they control criminal justice systems, the law really doesn't apply to them. We're going to win so much. You may even get tired of winning. Trump just keeps waiting. It is a win for the administration. It's also a big win for the United States. We have to keep winning. We have to win more. We're going to win more. And more winning economically today. Another week, another set of wins for the Trump economy. New numbers giving us new insight. Annual inflation, it cooled to 2.4% last month. Down more than half a percent compared to last year at the same time. That's pretty good. Yes, it is even better. Core CPI, core inflation, which strips out the far more volatile food and energy prices. That was actually down by its lowest margin to the lowest margin since March of 2021, the month before that disastrous. Biden inflation first took hold when the first stimulus checks started going out to people. One of the worst inflationary policies in this country's history spiking year-over-year inflation to 9% plus in the better part of one year by the summer of 2022. We spent much of the first hour outlining just how much of a difference Trumponomics has been from the disastrous domestic policies of the previous four years. made a stop at Fort Bragg in North Carolina today talking to the troops and celebrating massive hits in recruitment goals. Last year the Navy and Air Force and Space Force all surpassed their recruiting goals.

by five months early, and the numbers are through the roof. In fact, it would be a very good time to expand. You know, it's a good time to expand. But the Army did even better than the others, and you shattered your annual recruitment by almost five months and lots of days, but more importantly, the number and the quality of recruit has never been higher. A big reason for that, the president says, is finally the military is getting back to its roots after an end to the PC madness that consumed it during the Biden era. We ended the scourge of political correctness in our military. We renamed the Department of Defense to the Department of War. Think of it. We won World War I. We won everything. World War II. And everything before, during? And a little bit after, except we fought a little bit differently. We fought to be politically correct. We were a politically correct force with the presidents. But now we have a real force, and you see that with what we did in Iran with the B2 bombers. A lot of you were involved in that. And what we did recently in Venezuela, and nobody ever saw anything like that happened. And as part of that push to end PC, the president also touted in his speech at Fort Bragg the end to anything other than merit-based promotion. We brought back merit as the sole consideration for advancement and promotion in our military. We won the Supreme Court case, shockingly in that case. It took courage to come up with that decision. It's based on merit. Now you want to get into the military. Got to have a little muscle. You got to be strong like these people. Back in Washington, D.C., it seems almost certain that the federal government is going to shut down. Again, at midnight tonight after Democrats refused to allow a bill that would fund the Department of Homeland Security. DHS Secretary Kristi Noem in Maricopa County, Arizona talking election security and urging the passage of the Trump administration's top legislative priority right now, the SAVE Act, which would require birth certificates. or rather photo ID for voting and proof of citizenship, something that Democrats have suggested would require that everyone would need to find their birth certificate in order to vote, which is a rather ridiculous claim. These measures are extremely popular with American citizens. American people have common sense, and they want to see reforms like this put into their elections. In fact, a Gallup poll was recently released that shows 84% of Americans support a photo ID when they go to vote. That 83% support proving your citizenship when you go to register to vote. A Pew Research poll showed that 95% of Republicans and 71% of Democrats agree with voter ID.

During a debate over legislation this week that would allow children who were harmed in ritual child genital mutilation surgeries, or excuse me, gender affirming surgeries in Wisconsin to sue health care providers. State Representative Lee Snodgrass, whose name is really Lee Snodgrass. said quite possibly the most insane thing I have ever heard uttered on the floor of the Wisconsin State Legislature, comparing the permanent effect of a child chopping his genitals off to an adult using spray tan or hair dye. What are we doing here? Why is this any of your business, Mr. Speaker?

how somebody wants to inhabit their body, what they want to be called, what kind of medical care they need. This is none of our business. I see y'all, I see you on the other side with your spray tans and your hair dye and your hair extensions and your GLP1s and all the things that make you feel good about who you are, who make you feel best as you can be in your body. That's you. You do you. Let other people do them, do what they want to do, to truly inhabit who they are and be true to themselves. So if you take Ozempic, a pill, or a shot, you are no different than a doctor who cuts a kid's, you know what off. I don't even have a real response to something that is that insane, except to say... That representative Snodgrass needs to follow the science. Just a couple of weeks ago, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons issued a new position statement recommending pausing or restricting gender surgeries for those under 19, saying, look, there is simply no evidence of favorable risk benefit here. There's really no long-term data that suggests that there's any benefit whatsoever. And there is an emerging indication of serious harm and complications for this. Now, one of the critical studies that has caused a lot of people to change their minds about this, including hardcore liberals, look, if you can find a more liberal group of doctors, then... plastic surgeons now i'm not talking about the ones here but i want you to think where do you think the the center of plastic surgery in the known world is got to be hollywood right these are very liberal people even they are saying i think we should probably pause this because there's really no evidence that there is any benefit whatsoever And there's growing consensus. There is growing evidence to suggest that this could be real, real bad long term for people who are already mentally very fragile. Look, gender dysphoria, transgender ideology does not just sort of happen. It is very heavily linked to schizophrenia. It is very heavily linked to severe depression. In fact, very heavily linked to autism. And if you don't treat any of those underlying conditions and instead only say, okay, we're going to chop your breasts off so you can happily live as a man, there is going to be no happily ever after. But the study that caused a lot of people to change their minds is known as the CAS review. The independent review of gender identity services for children and young people led by Dr. Hillary.

Cass, it found, quote, remarkably weak evidence for medical or surgical interventions in young people. Surgeries were typically not systematically reviewed. But the review did highlight uncertainties in long-term outcomes, potential harms from the full pathway. This would be hormones, puberty blockers, as they're commonly known, and the need for caution. NHS, the National Health Service in England, restricted these sorts of interventions further than they already were because... The broadest based review that we have ever sort of undertaken, this one in England, found there's no evidence for this. Department of Health and Human Services followed up last year. Treatment for pediatric gender dysphoria, review of evidence and best practices. This was a comprehensive, peer-reviewed umbrella review of other studies such as the CAS review. And it concluded that evidence for benefits of gender-affirming interventions, including surgery, is very weak while risks are significant and include irreversible harms like infertility, sterility, sexual dysfunction, impaired bone density, adverse cognitive impact, cardiovascular and metabolic disorders, psychiatric issues. surgical complications and regret. That is something that is never actually talked about. While the number of people, and there have been some meta-analyses done of how many people regret trans surgery, very few of these are ever done in children who undergo these sorts of surgeries because it is relatively speaking very, very rare. One of the big problems with this analysis, there was one meta analysis that was done in 2021 that said the prevalence of regret after gender surgery was about 1%. Do you know why that is? Because a significant number of people who regret what they did kill themselves. That's not me being cruel. That's not me being transphobic. That is the sad reality here. The suicide rate of transgender individuals hovers around 40 to 50%. Does this sound like surgical options are saving people's lives and preventing this transgenocide that we're constantly talking about. The transgenocide is of suicide. The greatest threat to transgender people is not transphobia. It is severe depression.

And a major reason that severe depression is going unchecked in people who truly do suffer from gender dysphoria and some of these other underlying conditions, like schizophrenia, like severe depression, is because the severe depression and the schizophrenia are not being treated, but rather we're going for this superficial feel-good treatment of hormones, gender affirmation, and even the most extreme cases. surgery. Now, what is it that Lee Snodgrass was even protesting? Pretty simple bill. It was introduced by assemblywoman Amanda Nedski, who says, all right, if there are complications stemming from child genital mutilation surgery, the child should be able to sue the medical provider. There shouldn't be this sort of blanket immunity. There should be a broad panoply of legal options for the family of a child or when the child reaches adult. adulthood, they should be able to sue the people who mutilate them. It's pretty simple. It's pretty straightforward when you think about it, but apparently not to leave snodgrass, because after all, lobbing your little friend down there off to live as a woman is just like dyeing your hair when you start to go gray. Could Supreme Moore Omacunde, Gwen Moore's son, be even crazier? Yeah, it's possible. We'll find out next.

Democrats are still going insane when it comes to gender stuff. As evidenced by a bill just introduced as we went on the air this afternoon here on the Dan O'Donnell Show from representatives Shelia Stubbs and Senator Latonia Johnson, co-sponsorship of LRB 05351 relating to dental services for pregnant persons under the medical assistance. program. This bill will ensure that low-income pregnant people can access dentists in a timely and adequate manner, thereby preventing complications of dental disease, improving birth outcomes, and decreasing dental carriers in children. Pregnant persons. Pregnant persons. Women. Pregnant women. Just say it. Only women can be pregnant. This is why 58% of Americans now believe that the Democrat Party is too liberal. As recently as 10 years ago, there is no serious person, well, no serious person still says men can become pregnant. But there was no one in public life, no one in mainstream academia or politics or media who said, yeah, men can become pregnant. Yes, there is such a thing as a pregnant man. You would say, well, follow the science, right? People with X, Y, chromosomes, physical impossibility. Now, if you are a Democrat and you don't believe men can get pregnant, you are in the minority. It's remarkable how radically left wing this party has gotten in just a short amount of time. Legislative session this week, Supreme Moore Omacunday, who is the son of Gwen Moore, Wisconsin's congressman yesterday's unhinged liberal of the day, and perhaps best known for during the 2004 presidential election, slashing vans that had been rented by the Republican Party in order to transport voters. Back then, he was known as Supreme Solar Allah. Once he started his political career, he wanted to immediately let people know that he was related to Gwen Moore, so he changed it to Supreme Moore Omakunde, stood up in opposition to a Republican bill that seeks to end all race-based preferences. What do you think, Mr. Omakunde, said of that bill? That's right. Racist. Mr. Speaker?

I'm a generation exor. And we like to keep it real. So I'll just call it what it is. Mr. Speaker, this is a racist bill. With all the problems our state faces today, we simply don't have time to be giving any air to this ridiculously racist culture war bill. The only thing racist. has ever been the belief that because of systemic discrimination, people of one race are unable to compete with people of a different race. Did Supreme Moore Omakunde ever experienced slavery? He did not. He got himself elected to the state legislature. I did not. Under Supreme more Umakunday's belief system, if both he and I were going for the same job, I'm a radio host, he is an esteemed, air quotes there, member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, he would presume all other things being equal. that he would need more of a boost in order to get that job over me simply because I checked on a little box that I am white and he checked that he is black. It's pretty self-loathing. Now, When it comes to like individuality, yes, I do believe that I am slightly more intelligent than Supreme Moore Omicunde and probably more qualified in literally every way for any job you could possibly offer the two of us. But on a broader scale, think about what DEI-based programming before it was known as affirmative action. And by the way, the Supreme Court has spent the past several decades chipping away at this idea that certain races need a leg up because of what? When it comes down to it, at the individual at the granular level, it relies on the very racist presupposition that some races taking out of consideration all individual characteristics. Like, for example, I know a lot of people don't like him and frankly, he's a turd on social media. Credit where credit is due. If you were going to hire a physicist, would you hire Neil deGrasse Tyson or Dan O'Donnell? Probably the former. I think my highest grade in a science class in high school was like, no, actually I got A's in high school science. I spent, I was at Marquette and I had to take a science class my second year. And I love this story. I was no idea what I had signed up or some biology course or something. And the first day of class, I walk in, I'm a sophomore and it's, you know, mostly freshman, giant survey class. Professor goes,

Good morning and welcome to the first day of your journey to becoming doctors and nurses and scientists. Me, I'm like a broadcast major. I'm like, wait, what? Like looking around it? Did anybody else hear this? I got my first grade on a quiz that I had just absolutely studied my brains out for. I got a D and looked at the paper, big smile on my face, grabbed my book bag and walked out. I think I waved to the kids who were still in the class. All right. Went right and dropped it and took some much easier science class to satisfy the requirement. Neil de Gras Tyson is black. The idea that underpins DEI is that regardless of the relative strengths and weaknesses of Neil deGrasse Tyson as an individual applicant for the same job as Dan O'Donnell, Neil deGrasse Tyson will be presumed to need extra help simply because of his race. It does not get more racist than that. It really does not. And at its heart, that is sort of an undeniable fatal problem when it comes to any sort of race-based preferences. Anything other than merit-based hiring, merit-based application, blind auditions, anything like that ultimately falls victim to the exact same thing. The United States Supreme Court has repeatedly been of the belief that, well, first of all, there was 30 some years ago it ruled in the University of Michigan cases that race-based affirmative action in college admissions violates the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment. Harvard most recently got slapped down because it... did not offer the same race-based favoritism to Asian students who were not getting into Harvard University at the same level that black students were despite having much higher test scores and grade point averages, i.e. objective criteria. This wasn't reverse discrimination or reverse racism. This is flat out racism. And it's not racist against white kids who don't get the benefit of affirmative action or DEI programs. It's racist against the black kids who do because it's presumed that they simply can't compete at the same level of white students or of white applicants. So I guess if that's what Supreme Moore Omakunde is arguing that colorblind grading is somehow racist, I guess he's falling into that same basic argument that black students and black applicants just aren't as talented, just aren't as able to do the same job. That's wrong.

State Supreme Court race. conservative maria lazar has launched her first statewide ad campaign and of course the milwaukee journal sentinel is already upset about it she is lazar is tagging her liberal opponent christine taylor a krissey taylor the appeals court judge former planned parenthood advocate and dane county circuit court judge as well as a member of the wisconsin legislature as a radical saying she has a radical agenda. Do you know why Lazari is saying that? Because Taylor has a radical agenda. Now, the journal Sentinel is trying to find fault in what I actually found to be a very resonant claim that Lazar is making about Taylor that she wants illegal aliens or she wants non-citizens, people who are unable to prove that they were born here in the United States or are, in fact, American citizen. She wants them to vote. The journal Sentinel is very upset about this because Lazar cites a federalist article that says, Taylor wants driver's licenses for illegals. What is a thing that you can use to prove that you're able to vote in Wisconsin currently? Yeah. A driver's license. In fact, do you realize that we give what are known as non-domiciled licenses to people who are in fact not eligible to vote? or we give a temporary or limited license to people who are only in this state for a short amount of time. Also not eligible to vote. Now, one thing that was never answered in the run-up to the 2024 presidential election, even though we here on the Dan O'Donnell show were raising the alarm such that our friend Congressman Brian Stile took up the charge and demanded answers of the Wisconsin Election Commission, why is it?

that those temporary licenses or non-domiciled licenses look exactly, and I mean exactly, like normal Wisconsin driver's licenses that can be used for voting. The only change is a tiny little notification that the license is for a non-domiciled or a person who is in the state temporarily. If you are looking at that, if you are an election worker, you would almost certainly skip right over that part. You would look at the name. You would look at the picture. You would match it to the name of the person who is requesting the ballot, whose name is on the voter role. There's nothing that says in big, bold letters, not to be used for voting, in other words. Why else would you want a driver's license? Why would you want a driver's license for an illegal alien? Well, Dan, they're already here. They should be able to drive, right? Well, they're driving anyway. And judging by the fact that it seems as though nobody in the city of Milwaukee has a valid Wisconsin license, judging by the number who get busted for driving on a suspended or driving after revocation, Doesn't seem to matter. They're still getting cars. They're still, they're not getting insurance, of course. And that is another big, big problem in this state and across the country, illegal aliens who are not insured, getting in car accidents and causing people who have insurance thousands and thousands, if not tens of thousands of dollars, when their insurance or they are forced to pay for having the misfortune of getting into a crash. with an uninsured motorist. But nonetheless, the bottom line claim, does Chris Taylor want people who are not authorized to vote in this country to actually be authorized to vote in this country? Well, here's a good question. Maybe you could ask Chris Taylor, does she support the SAVE Act? Does she think that the concept of requiring an, well, she's going to say, I can't answer a question that could theoretically come before the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Do you believe in your belief system? To quote Janet Protissowitz, who said how she would rule on every single issue and every single controversy that could come before the court, indirect violation of the Code of Judicial Conduct, I might add. She said, well, I'm telling you what my belief system is. I'm telling you what I believe. Okay, ask Chris Taylor, does she believe that it is lawful or constitutional to make people prove that they are citizens of this country before they register to vote? Do you think it is lawful and or constitutional to make people prove they are who they are attesting to be when they go to a polling place and get a ballot?

Because it is my very strong suspicion. In fact, I can tell you, it's not my strong suspicion. She opposes the Save Act. Every Democrat opposes the Save Act, except apparently for John Fetterman, the senator from Pennsylvania. He is the only Democrat that I have seen even take the very common sense and widely supported position that, yes, you should have to be an American citizen in order to vote in American elections. Once again, we see Democrats by the hundreds of thousands, even though 71% of Democrats in this country say, yeah, you have to show a photo ID. Already the talking points are going out. Watch that number drop like a rock as Democrats are now told how to think about voter ID. They're saying, yes, we do believe that you should have to prove who you say you are. Do you know what the talking point is now? Honest to goodness. That women will be forced to go and find their birth certificate and their marriage certificate just to be able to vote. Like 80% of this country. has gotten a real ID. Do you know what a real ID proves? Do you know why you need a real ID to fly? Because it proves it is further proof. It proves you are a United States citizen. Once you upgrade to a real ID, that is all you need to use for voting. That's it. Women, how difficult was it for you to change your name on all of your legal documents and everything when you got married? Sure, it can be a little bit of a pain in the butt, but it's easy to do. There is no massive, overwhelming burden. But this is what Democrats are resorting to arguing that it's impossible, that women simply can't figure out how to change their names. How misogynistic is that? That minorities who, by the way, overwhelmingly support voter ID, too. That minorities who, just like the rest of us, need ID to do pretty much everything in American life, are nonetheless too incompetent to be able to get a photo ID. Again, you see just like in... DEI and just like in affirmative action before it, you see this just pervading racism just under the surface of what it is that the left is claiming.

Ultimately, what does it come down to? If you take their arguments at face value, which I do not, their arguments essentially come down to, well, we want non-citizens voting and we want impersonation fraud. In other words, we want to make it easier to cheat because we believe at some level we are benefiting by election fraud. We are the beneficiaries of cheating in American elections, and we would very much not like that to stop. Thank you very much. But if you take their arguments at face value, they're insanely racist and they're insanely sexist. It comes down to women are too stupid to be able to change their names, so they wouldn't be able to prove who they are. And black and Hispanic people are too stupid to be able to get a photo ID at all. So this is a bad bill. Good luck with that, Democrat. See how far it gets you. I feel like I need to give an Olympic spoiler for this one, a huge shocker in men's figure skating. No, I'm not typically a big fan of men's figure skating, but I did know that the quad god Ilya Malanin of Team USA was widely expected to win the gold or at the very least be up there. And in fact, he was in first place after the short program. Spoiler, he fell and he took eighth. Huge, huge disappointment for Ilya Malanin. And you just, you feel bad because he seems like such a good, good kid. All right. Time now to name the unsung heroes of the day an Olympic theme today.

I know you talked about this last week, and I tried to call last week, but didn't get in in time. And I just want to expand on it just a little bit further. I understand the physics and the reason for the power down with AM radio and the atmosphere and all that. But the one thing that kind of really gets my goat is... The 15 or so seconds when the broadcast has to power down, and you guys just keep talking, and I miss stuff. Last week, you literally were talking about the district attorney who was refusing to represent police in lawsuits, and you were mentioning, as part of your argument, something he had said, like, in a prior life, in a prior political life, I think he was, what, assembly in or something? And you were like, and he said this, and I quote, and then static. And I'm like, no. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. You know, the problem is, Tim, I would love, I would love to, you know, just stop for 15 seconds, but you know what happens. And this is a little peek behind the curtain. First of all, I don't know what time specifically we power down on a given day. I think right now it is what? 5.15 p.m. producer Eric, we don't know. It's roughly around sunset. So whatever sunset is, we are legally required to power down. Here's the problem. If I just stop talking and there's just silence. Hi, Dan. I'm a long-time listener. I'm... kind of tapping back into when you were talking about the real ID. The point I wanted to make is that you had said that has, I know you were talking about it being related to the name changes and things like that. So I work for the government and we'll just leave it at that. The problem I have with one of the things you had said is that the real ID does not actually prove citizenship at base value. It does have the limited term comments on there. that are very hard to see in yellow letters, by the way. You made a very valid point there. But at face value, it doesn't prove citizenship. You need the technological, like, equipment to scan and extract the data. Really? Yeah, it does not prove citizenship. The real idea is for two things. For a federal building entry and for traveling within the United States and North America. And it just means you're vetted. It's kind of like a T.S. So you can still get one. Okay, I guess I was mistaken on that, that you could still get one that is the non-domiciled. You can get a non-domiciled real ID. So I thought to obtain a real ID, you need to provide some sort of proof of citizenship. Like you need to have like a birth certificate or passport. Like when I got my real ID, I actually needed to provide a passport. Right, right. That's like the golden ticket to the real ideas, honestly. Okay. But you don't need one. It isn't data. It is data. Non-citizens, permanent residents all have real IDs. Really? It's a vetting process. Yes, I see them every day and screen them every day at work. Well, I'll tell you what, don't give me more about where you work because I don't want to get you a job. Denise, I am good, I'll tell you what, I am going to look further into that because it was my understanding that that was the big reason. that we wanted to go to real ID. I mean, the Real ID Act was passed, my God, what, 2005? It took 20 years. Just in case you think Americans are not procrastinators, it took 20 years to replace standard driver's licenses with real IDs. Let's spin that wheel once again.

I wanted to let you know that when you go for that star on your driver's license, that there's a whole lot more to it than you think. Besides having to bring all the normal information, if you happen to be divorced, you have to bring a divorce decree. If you don't bring that, they're not going to give you your star. I still don't have one because I never made it down to the courthouse to grab it. But you could, right? What's that? You have to have a star in order to get in the courthouse. So wait. So now, no. You're saying you do know also, Donna, you can get a lot of these documents. You can request them via email and they can be faxed or emailed or scanned over to you. But you're saying you can't get in the courthouse because you don't have a real ID, but you can't get a real ID because you never got your divorce decree? Correct. But I don't. Boy, that's a hell of a catch-22. That's interesting. I don't use computers. No, I don't use computers, so I'm really screwed. Well, do you have like a son or daughter or a younger person who might be able to help you? They might be able to if they ever have time. Yes. Yes. That would be my suggestion. Boy, that's something interesting. I guess I wouldn't have thought that you can't get in the courthouse because you don't have a real ID, but you can't get a real ID because you can't get in the courthouse. That's fascinating, actually. That is the definition of a catch-22, producer Eric. Let's go up next to Matt in Waukesha. Mart. Oh, okay, I'm sorry, Mart in Waukesha. Those victims that were sitting behind Pam Bondi yesterday at that hearing? Yes. Why didn't she, everybody, why didn't she ask those ladies to come up front, put them on her oath, and ask them, who are the perpetrators? Name them that.

They get this thing over with. Well, Pam Bondi couldn't do that because she was called as a witness. So the committee was at Judiciary, House Judiciary Committee that she was before would have to do that. And there are all manner of protocols and there are all manner of... rules i know that for calling witnesses like the the concept we in court i always laugh when in every courtroom drama mart the surprise witness and the courthouse doors fly open and and someone who has previously disappeared shows up to testify well that doesn't actually happen. You can't just spring something on your opponent because they need to be able to cross-examine and to be able to. The case would immediately be tossed if anything like that happened. Something similar is at play in the house. But the underlying point, I think, that you're getting at, Mart, is these women have been free. To say whomever it is, also, here's the thing about all of the women who have been publicly, quote unquote, outed as victims. I have not gotten the sense that any of them were trafficked when they were underage. As I understand it, all of them were engaged in some form of prostitution while they were of age. Now, The question that always arises is, well, Dan, if they spoke out and if they started naming names, they would be liable for defamation, right? So they're terrified to go up against these high-powered lawyers for the richest and most powerful people in the country. Well, here's the thing. Truth is an absolute bar to any sort of defamation action. So if truth is always a defense, in other words, if let's say a woman accuses Bill Gates, okay, and Bill Gates is probably out of any American, although did you see one of Obama's solicitor jet, one of Obama's attorneys was actually forced to resign, Kathy Rumler. Now, you wouldn't know that. because she was a Goldman Sachs attorney, is how she was identified in all of the media when she actually resigned. She was the one who was giddy because she got some designer handbag from Jeffrey Epstein. No indication that she was involved in any sex trafficking or anything like that, but obviously highly inappropriate and embarrassing if one of your top corporate officials is getting handbags and reacting like a giddy little schoolgirl to getting a gift from Jeffrey Epstein. But Rumler resigned.

In Great Britain, obviously Prince Andrew is, I mean, he's been deprinsed. You can no longer, his name is like Andrew Windsor Mountbatten now. He's no longer Prince Andrew. He faced a very heavy penalty. And frankly, his only accuser is Virginia Joufrey. And she did provide photographic evidence, but that was just of him. It wasn't like he was photographed or videoed having sex with her when she was underage. And the thing about Virginia Joufrey is she's the one who killed herself. And yes, the evidence is even her family says, yes, she took her own life. She died by suicide. She was not, you know, removed by powerful forces. She's been telling her story for 20 years, right? The only problem, she's changed her story about 20 different times. She got sued by Alan Dershowitz, who for a long time was Jeffrey Epstein's attorney because she said, you know, she was she was trafficked to Alan Dershowitz. Dershowitz said that's absolutely not true. He sued her and he won. If these Epstein victims. were to face a similar lawsuit and they could provide any proof of their claims, they would be victorious. The suits would be tossed out. The problem is, and this is the question that I think most thinking people have with respect to these victims, they've been holding press conferences. Do you remember the big press conference where they demanded that the names would be unredacted and that their accusers would be named? Well, the first thing I said is you're at a press conference. Your attorney is right there. Name the names. If they're already in the files, name them. And clearly, you will be vindicated. You will be backed up by all of the evidence that you are presupposing is in those files. Or at the very least, there is some sort of evidence that will back up your claim. If all of a sudden I just started saying, you know, I was, well, how about this? How about this? Since butt pinching is apparently at epidemic levels in the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, if I said, yeah, Marty Brooks pinched my butt too. Or better yet, if I said an unnamed big wig in the Wisconsin Center District pinched my butt at a David Crowley event but refused to name him and said, well, the Milwaukee County DA's office needs to unredact its files. I could very easily name that person unless, of course, first of all, Marty Brooks never pinched my butt. He apparently only has eyes for the Common Council President Jose Perez. Let's spin that wheel again.

Have you ever heard of a solo 401K? A solo 401K? That's one that you just invest in yourself, correct? It's like if you're self-employed. Yes, if you're a Lyft driver or a Uber driver. Yeah, sure, sure. You, you... Apparently, this is not talked about enough because I've talked to other Lyft and Uber drivers. They have not heard about this. Yeah. Yes, I just signed up from mine a few weeks ago, and you can deduct $70,000 off your taxes for a solo 401K. But you have to do it as an employer, not as an employee, because if you have, say, a full-time job and you have a 401k there, you would have to put it as an employer and have it as... and has an employer contribution there. I was wondering if you could talk about that. I think anything that gets any sort of tax liability to that level, you absolutely do need to explore. I'm not going to pretend, Scott, to be an expert like Spano is in this sort of thing. Thanks to everybody again for calling in for Talk Radio Roulette, quickly becoming one of my absolute favorite segments on this show. Just really enjoy the challenge of not knowing what it is. Our callers are going to say answering every question, answering every point. I really wish we could get some more libs. This is your chance. You can hit me with any argument. you want and I have to respond to it. It is bizarre, truly bizarre, that nobody is taking me up on it. Speaking of bizarre, Strangest Stories of the Week, how bizarre. Coming up very shortly, first, want to get to this. Caitlin Susan Collins, one of the single most biased alleged news anchors in the entire business for CNN, on a podcast today saying, no, we're not biased in the media. We cover Trump and his administration. fairly and accurately. You know, they always argue the media is biased against them and doesn't cover them fairly, even though we cover them, I think, fairly and accurately. You wanted the focus to be on the subject matter and not on you personally as a reporter. And so I always try to, you know, keep that distance in terms of that. And I think keeping your composure and that. point is important because you never want to prove them right on that front, that they are right that you're biased against them or that you have a personal, you know, angst here. I don't. I sort of feel like I should put a laugh track behind that. Is she serious? Does she not realize that she's Caitlin Susan Collins? So I see this clip circulating on X. And I kid you not, ladies and gentlemen, I click on it to watch it and say this woman can't be serious. The very next tweet, literally the very next tweet is this from ABC World News Tonight with David Muir. Tonight President Trump has repealed U.S. power to regulate climate in this country, the president officially rejecting the science. And what this now clears the way for, critics tonight arguing this is not only dangerous for the environment. but for your health. Oh, yes, Caitlin Susan Collins. That is covering the Trump administration fairly and accurately. There was actually just a study of Apple News, which is where a whole lot of people who have iPhones get their news. I still can't figure out how to stop Apple News from sending me push notifications. I know I just go into settings. It's probably very easy. But I kind of like seeing what it is on a daily or maybe once every two-day basis. what they think that I should be reading. And I take note of this because I can't, I'm clearly conservative. Like my phone has got to know that I am a conservative, right? You would think with all of the cookies, with all of the tracking software, with everything, the phone would know I'm a conservative. I have yet to see a conservative article and, in fact, a study just posted.

Apple News pushed 400 plus articles over the past month. Not a single one of them was from a conservative news source or could be considered conservative in nature. Now, what are the odds of that? You flip a coin 400 plus times and it just happens to land tails every single time. No, that's deliberate bias. And that's just in the selection of what stories that you will see. And this is what I always talk about. Everyone seems to be focused on how a story is covered, the tone, the tenor, like that, David Muir's story. We covered that yesterday before the ABC Nightly News hit and said, okay, this is going to be the biggest deregulatory push in history. This is going to save Americans $1.3 trillion. That is the conservative spin on that story, rather obviously. The David Muir's spin is, okay, this is Trump ignoring the science and this is going to kill you. Which side is the more hyperbolic and slightly unhinged? I'll let you decide that for yourself. But the real bias is in what is considered news and is in what is not considered news. Like, for example, what exactly you are going to see on your feed, period. What exactly is going to be covered, period. That's where the real, it's called selection bias. And that is where liberal news media has done just an incredible job of completely shutting out any story. That might contradict the narrative. For example, we've been reporting all week here in Wisconsin that Madison East High School, which is one of the bigger, better known schools in Madison, the state's capital right down the street from the Capitol building itself, that it was hosting a drag show that was going to feature students, underage kids. And not only that, they were going to allow members of the community to get into the drag show, but only if you show ID, that you have to show photo ID at the door before you get in the underage drag show where high school sophomores are going to be shaking their groove things right alongside professional drag queens. Nobody else picked up on that. You don't think that that is sort of newsworthy. Hey, why is a high school? charging admission to the public to see a drag show at the high school and why is it a they're

doing this at all, where you've got underage kids in a clearly sexualized environment, a clearly sexualized performance, so sexualized, in fact, that they're not allowing people in without a valid photo ID. And in fact, according to the invitation that went out ahead of this thing last night, if you were not in high school, if you were like a middle school or an elementary school, so you had to go with a parent. So what does that tell you about the nature of this sort of thing? So not only that, that's a newsworthy peg in and of itself. Also, how about the irony that every single Democrat in the world is screaming bloody murder about being required to show a photo ID to vote? And yet liberals who control the Madison East High School administration are requiring a photo ID to get into their kiddie drag show. I mean, two big newspegs, but it contradicts prevailing liberal narratives. So, therefore, we can't cover that story. This is something I always talk about the talk radio ghetto. We're not going to allow that story to get out of the talk radio ghetto. Okay, who cares if. Several thousand conservatives know about it, and Dan O'Donnell is talking about it, so long as our good little lives in the readership of the Wisconsin State Journal or the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel or the viewership of any of the TV news stations, so long as they don't see it, that's just fine. And you magnify that about a thousandfold over on the national news networks. You will not get anything that is good news. We spent much of the earlier in the show three o'clock hour talking about just how good the Trump economy has actually been. What do we get instead? We get a hyper focus on Jeffrey Epstein with this idea, this complete fiction that somehow Trump is a pedophile and that all Republicans are pedophile enablers. And we have anything in our power to cover up the fact that, hey, people are actually making more money. The unemployment rate remains down. We're doing all of this with... protectionist tariffs that we were told for how many months we're going to destroy the American economy and we're doing all this by removing a whole lot of illegal aliens who aren't supposed to be here but we're also taking jobs that Americans might also do none of that is being covered In fact, just look at how the deportation numbers that I've been citing for the past couple of days. Nobody is talking about that because that would tend to give people the idea that, hey, maybe things are going okay. But yes, Caitlin Susan Collins, you totally, you totally cover the Trump administration. Fairly. How bizarre, strangest stories of the past seven days coming up next here on the Dan O'Donnell Show.

It has nothing on this, the strangest stories of the past seven days here on the Dan O'Donnell show in a little segment we call. How bizarre. Valentine's Day is, of course, tomorrow, and a cafe in New York City is redefining the idea of a romantic dinner. Instead of arriving with a human partner, guests are being encouraged to bring their, yes, AI chatbot companions for an evening out. Same Same Wine Bar in the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood of Manhattan has introduced a special Valentine's Week concept, allowing diners to seat their digital partners across the table. Phones and tablets rest on stands, headphones are provided for privacy, and intimate table settings recreate the atmosphere of a traditional dinner date, only this time the conversation partner appears on a screen. The initiative is backed by Eva AI, a platform that offers users AI-generated characters designed for text and video conversations. Users can choose from ready-made personalities or customize their own virtual companion, adjusting features such as appearance, tone, and character traits. Folks, I guess, to each his own, but man, oh man, I thought we had reached peak sadness with the sex bot. bringing your AI chatbot on a date, and that's taking it to a whole new level. How bizarre? How bizarre? How bizarre? A fugitive from Slovakia, who had been on the run for 16 years, was finally arrested this week when he turned up in Milan at the Olympics. Why? He wanted to root on his national hockey team. The 44-year-old man who has not been named was wanted by Italian authorities for a series of thefts committed in 2010. The cops managed to track him down and arrest him after he checked into a capsite on Wednesday in the outskirts of Milan, thanks to an automatic alert from the capsite reception. The fugitive was then taken to Milan's San Vittore prison to serve a pending sentence of 11 months and seven days, according to Italy's military police.

And unfortunately for him, he did not manage to see the opening game in which Slovakia's hockey team beat Finland 4 to 1 at Milan's Santa Julia Arena on Wednesday. Come on, you didn't think this was going to make how bizarre, of course, it is. Wisconsin State Representative Lee Snodgrass, a Democrat, of course, comparing on the floor of the State Assembly this week, permanent child genital mutilation under the guise of gender-affirming care surgeries to using spray tan. What are we doing here? Why is this any of your business, Mr. Speaker? how somebody wants to inhabit their body, what they want to be called, what kind of medical care they need. This is none of our business. I see y'all, I see you on the other side with your spray tans and your hair dye and your hair extensions and your GLP ones and all the things that make you feel good about who you are who make you feel best as you can be in your body. That's you. You do you. Let other people do them, do what they want to do, to truly inhabit who they are and be true to themselves. I still, does she not realize spray tan wears off? Hair dye wears off. And, oh yeah, the colleagues she's talking about are adults, not, you know, children. How bizarre!

Finally today, a drug dealer who rigged his home with booby traps says he was inspired by the Christmas classic Home Alone. He has now been jailed for seven years. His name is Ian Quatton. And he used tripwires and homemade pipe bombs to protect his drug business from would-be intruders. Police who searched the home found a series of traps as well as a homemade flamethrower. That one sound familiar, large quantities of cannabis, amphetamines, and cash. They also found a fishing wire running across the length of one of the rooms at knee height, also a trap from home alone. Attached to an electrical connector and a battery pack, Quatton told police the explosives were crow scarers used by farmers, which he had inserted into plastic piping and in one instance into a bag of paint. A stun gun also found behind a fridge freezer. Other weapons found at the property included two high-powered air guns and across Now, at trial, prosecutors said to the jury, if you're sitting there thinking that this sounds a little like the film Home Alone, then you would be correct. In fact, that is precisely what Ian Clotten said that he was aiming for when he told the police about these. devices. Button is now going to spend the next seven years in prison and thank heavens. Look, other nations have used tariffs in the exact same way that President Trump has been using them since Liberation Day last April, and Trump is just applying economic pressure and using the economic power of the United States marketplace. in a way that past presidents have sort of used the threat of potential military action and sort of leveraging the military might of the united states well president trump is the first president ever to leverage the economic might of the united states to sort of force compliance with the american world order as opposed to the new world order.
