Today, President Trump holding a cabinet meeting this morning, giving an update on the status of Operation Epic Theory. We estimated it would take approximately four to six weeks to achieve our mission. 26 days in, we're extremely really a lot ahead of schedule. Yeah, they are absolutely a lot ahead of schedule. Number of cabinet secretaries spoke, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, giving updates on Epic Fury, which of course was the dominant topic of conversation. The daily Trump date is coming up at 4 o'clock. Then at 5 o'clock, the International Olympic Committee surprisingly makes the right decision. banning biological males from women's sports at the upcoming Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. We will dive into that and much, much more here on the Dan O'Donnell Show.

Of course, we are providing an update on Wisconsin's largest early vote drive. On the first day of in-person early voting, really the first day and a half, I would say, we logged 776 votes. Remember, we're going in 24-hour stretches. So every time the Dan O'Donnell show starts, that's when we will add a new tally to our total. Yesterday, heading into today, starting at 306 when we went on the air yesterday to about, I'd say, 215, 220 when I finally counted up all of the ballots, or all of the people who said, rather, that they had voted early. We had 416 early votes for a two-day total of 1,192 votes in the Wisconsin's largest. in-person early vote drive. We do this every year. We encourage you to vote early and then tell us about us. Shoot us a text at 414-799-1130. You can also text us 1-800-8-9476. That's our toll-free talk and text line. Let us know that you voted. Well, I love hearing from you via email. I don't want my email inbox clogged up. So please don't email me. Just shoot us a text. Let us know that you voted. And tell me how many people you brought to the polls. I was actually talking with my 18-year-old son today. He was home for open campus lunch. Was this a thing when you were in high school where you could just sort of have free reign? It seems like he and his friends. I see his friends at the gym. like all hours of the day when i go to work out before the show the high school seniors are just sort of out of class it seems like they're out of class more than they're in class but in any event we talked about when we were going to vote this would be his first election he turned 18 back in september of course there was no november election and he didn't vote in the february primary because we didn't have anything on our ballot where we live so this is going to be his very first vote and we are going to go as a family most likely tomorrow to early vote. If you do the same, let's say you bring your wife, you bring your 18 year old son to the polls, let me know about it, and we will count three votes in the state's largest early vote drive. Yes, this is a huge decline from last year at this time. We must have had, I think, 3,000 early votes within the first couple of days. No real surprise because... Control ideologically of the Supreme Court is not up for grabs this time. So it's no real surprise that there won't be as much interest. But that in and of itself might be a huge advantage for a liberal candidate Chris Taylor, how she has essentially weaponized Democrats ignorance. If anything, that is going to be the theme of today's show, how Democrats weaponize ignorance of their voters. Seriously, she is going to get a big boost, and I think one of the biggest reasons.

7:22

that the latest Marquette University Law School poll shows that there is a huge, huge enthusiasm gap for Democrats. It's because Democrats erroneously believe that ideological control of the Supreme Court is up for grabs. All right, if you want to join the Dan O'Donnell's show at any point during today's foray into broadcast excellence or, let's face it, broadcast competence, that's far more likely. 414-79-1130, DOD at iHeartMedia.com. If you miss a second of the live broadcast that we do on multiple radio stations, as well as your iHeart app, please listen to the podcast. We are absolutely tearing up. Not the Billboard charts, but the IHeart Radio charts are the top 100 podcasts in the United States. In fact, we are doing very, very well for a radio show that just kind of happens to have a podcast, like podcast-only podcasts, things that you can only get in podcast form, say on the IHeart Radio app, naturally are going to do a lot better. But we are doing very, very well on those rankings. And I focus on this just because it shows the powers that be way off in New York that this little John Hickenlooper from Milwaukee is actually worth something to the company. I do sincerely thank each and every one of you for supporting the show. And I want to thank each and every one of you for supporting our brand new web venture, The Heartland Post. You can find it at heartlandpost.com. I am serving as editor-in-chief, and we have put together. The single biggest voter guide that any conservative organization or any liberal organization has ever put out in the history of Wisconsin. I was talking with a number of political people. They actually do agree. Yeah, there has never been anything of this scope. We have an interactive digital map at heartlandpost.com. click on your county. We have got a complete list. We have partnered with the incredible Terry Dietrich of the Waukesha Republican Party and his Wiss Red initiative as well as Republican parties from across the state to get huge lists of candidates. And we have put them all together. In fact, I dare say there is only maybe one or two counties way off in northern and western Wisconsin for which we could not find. or were not provided with a single conservative candidate. But if you are in any doubt as to who to vote for in the spring election, head to heartlandpost.com. You can find links on my social media or at the Heartland Post's X account at Heartland Post, WI, or Facebook.com slash the Heartland Post. Well, yesterday it was high drama. over the Wisconsin Supreme Court debate. It was supposed to be last night, but a few hours beforehand, Chris Taylor, the liberal candidate, said she was not going to be able to participate. A statement from her campaign said she woke up feeling bad. She went to the hospital for observation and she's not going to be able to take part. We're going to try to reschedule.

10:39

It was ultimately revealed that she was diagnosed with kidney stones yesterday afternoon and the debate is going to be rescheduled but for next Thursday. That is easily the closest a debate has ever been to election day. I think in any election, certainly in a spring election, certainly in a Supreme Court election. It's the closest a debate has ever been to election day. And I believe the debate that was supposed to be yesterday. is the closest that we have ever had a debate to election day in at least the last couple of years. Why would a candidate want to debate as late as we were supposed to have it yesterday, less than two weeks before the final vote, what we used to call election day, and two days after people had already started voting early? Well, the reason for this... that we learned is that taylor's campaign did not want to do any earlier debates we actually had on maria lazar the conservative candidate who had a free afternoon and evening she didn't need to do any debate prep because there was no debate last night and she said our campaign reached out to taylor's campaign we wanted multiple debates she would agree to only one and we wanted we we offered a list of dates and the taylor campaign only picked the latest possible date. Well, then they apparently decided that that wasn't late enough in the cycle. And this would make sense. As I explained yesterday, and I have explained for years now, the political science of debates is that the candidate who's leading, or at least believes themselves to be leading, does not want to debate. The candidate who is behind or perceives themselves to have a big gap to make up, they want a debate. Debates are about moments. Debates are about the things that could potentially change the dynamic of a race. Everybody remembers, at least those who were alive and remember the infamous Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Nixon debate in 1960. richard nixon for those who were listening to the debate on the radio was widely believed to have won but because television was still new this was actually the very first televised presidential debate he refused makeup he was under the weather he looked like he was sweating under the TV lights, whereas Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who had just gone tanning, he knew about this new science of television, or at least he had people around him who said, hey, you should probably look tanned, you should probably look good, even though it wasn't in color, you could just tell the two of them. And people who were watching the debate on TV said Robert F. Kennedy Jr. won. Of course, everybody remembers the disastrous performance of Joe Biden. In June of 2024, Trump and Biden met for a debate, the earliest presidential debate ever in the modern political era. And Biden's performance was so bad within three weeks he had dropped out of the race. He announced, or rather it was announced on his behalf, that he wasn't going to run again.

13:51

That sort of thing, I believe the Taylor campaign has determined is the only thing that would cause her to lose this race. And she didn't want to risk it. I am not saying at all. all that she made up having kidney stones or that somehow kidney stones are not painful. I hear it is about the most painful thing that you can possibly go through. But what I also know is that a whole lot of people very close to me, including my father-in-law, including my very dear friend Dave Michaels, you just heard him on the top of the hour news. They both had kidney stones and they both gutted through and didn't miss a single day of work. So, too, we learned yesterday, did Maria Lazar, who told me in an exclusive interview that years ago she was suffering from kidney stones. And while she wishes Taylor well, she knows from firsthand experience that Taylor absolutely could have debated last night. She just didn't want to because Lazar herself had to give a big presentation at a judicial conference and did so. while suffering from kidney stones. First of all, as you said, I wish her well. I know kidney stones can be a painful circumstance. In fact, I had them way back when I was supposed to be teaching at a judicial seminar, and I'll say that I actually took some medication, went in, did my lunch, did my speech, did everything. The only thing I didn't do is dry. Because that's really not appropriate. Wait, wait, wait. You're telling me you yourself had kidney stones. Yep. And you still went into work and did a presentation, much like, say, a judicial debate. Yes, it was to a large crowd of judges talking about criminal law and sentencing, and I was there for their lunch, for their presentation, for mine. And let me tell you, I understand, Kimmy Stone's hurt. Yes, they do. But, in fact, my doctors were not happy with me making comments about, look, I have to get this presentation in. Wait a second. Wait a second. So you're telling me, just like my father-in-law, Just like my producer and news guy, you went to work with kidney stones. You gave a presentation in front of a whole bunch of people. You did something very, very similar to performing in a televised debate, and you did it all with kidney stones. Yes. Are you saying that your opponent maybe could have debated tonight? No, and you know, I'm not going to go that step. What I will say is it's not, it's not something that sneaks up on you. You pretty well know for a while. And I'm just saying that were things different, I think I'm, you know, I'm not going to say any further than that. I'm just going to say what I've done in the past and we'll leave it at that. That was Maria Lazar on the Dan O'Donnell show yesterday. I will actually go farther than that.

17:06

Well, I don't know the exact timeline of the diagnosis. It is very suspicious to me that a candidate gets an eight-point lead on Tuesday, as identified in the Marquette University Law School poll, the gold standard for polling here in Wisconsin, and then wakes up Wednesday morning with kidney stones. Even though, now, now, just hear me out here. Hear me out here. Hear me out. The candidate who is up doesn't want a debate, right? That's just, that's sort of a truth. It's a political truth. But what if most people had their minds made up? What if most people, okay, they're going to vote for Chrissy Taylor no matter what? Here's the other thing that that Marquette University Law School poll showed. 46% of voters are undecided. 46%. Ergo, a debate would have gone a long way to potentially convincing them, hey, maybe I should support the underdog in this race, real as are, and not Chrissy Taylor. Do I know whether Taylor knew she had kidney stones or knew she was under the weather for some time and might not have been able to debate? I do not. Do I believe that she could have debated with kidney stones? Yes, I do believe so. Based on everything I know about it, yes, I know it is incredibly debilitating. It is incredibly painful. But now we have pretty much everybody who has reached out to me via the talk and text line, everybody I know who has suffered from kidney stones and the opponent in this race who also had kidney stones all saying, yeah, it sucks, it's terrible, it hurts. But if you have something that you absolutely need to do, you can do it. What is clear is that Taylor did not believe she absolutely had to debate last night. And I am telling you 100% that if she was down eight points in that Marquette pull, instead of up eight points, she absolutely would have debated. Coming up, some shocking financial reporting from that Supreme Court race that sheds light on why it was almost certainly that Taylor did not want to debate last night. Oh, I've had no luck lately. Wait, lady luck? Brett Ski, I got you. I've had so much luck on SpinQuest.com. They have all of my favorite games, slot games, live blackjack craps, and bubble craps. Some more entries for the state's largest early vote drive. Hi, Dan. Stephen Terry from Menominee Falls voted today. My son and I voted at New Berlin City Hall today. Hi, Dan. My husband and I voted early in Muskego. Thanks for a great show. That comes from Mary. Mary, do appreciate it. If you early vote, be sure to tell me about it. Get yourself.

21:43

Oh, okay. You had to interrupt what I was saying to say a husband and wife called instead of texting as I asked them to text to tell me that they early voted. But I do appreciate that. I do appreciate however they tell me. Obviously, I can't count the people who call. So please do text because what I do is just go through all of the text and count them up. We had 416 early votes. yesterday into today. So I'll just say today, 416 early votes. And that brings us to a two-day total of 1,192 early votes. So 1,100 early votes. Let's get way more. Text me 414-799. 1130 on our advent nose.com talk and text line. I think I know why the last thing Chrissy Taylor wanted to do was to debate. I believe I know. Look, I am not saying that she is faking her kidney stones. I wish her well in her recovery, saying a little prayer for her that she is back on the campaign trail as quickly as possible. Note that you don't want anybody to suffer any health issues because ultimately our health is really all we have. But I'm saying she did not want to debate at all and wanted the lone debate in this race to be as late as humanly possible because wispolitics.com has found that she and her allies have outspent Maria Lazar, her conservative opponent, 15 to 1. On ads and turnout efforts, as of yesterday, this is according to a WISP politics review. Taylor is the biggest spender at nearly $3.3 million on ads, according to Ad Impact, adding in independent expenditure reports filed with the state. She and her allies have dropped more than $5.6 million on the race. Lazar, meanwhile, has received little help from outside groups so far. In addition to the $312,000 in spots tracked by Ad Impact, Restoration of America Pack has reported a $40,000 digital buy on her behalf, and the Dane County GOP told WIS Politics it spent $22,000 on a radio and digital buy supporting her for $373,775 in... outlet outlays so far. Those totals don't include what the Taylor and Lazare campaigns have spent beyond ads. Both campaigns face a deadline Monday to detail their spending ahead of the April 7th election. The combined spending of nearly $6 million is well off the pace of 11.15 million. I was going to say 11.5 million. That's way low. $15 million that was politics tracked in the 2025 campaign that included. Libs are still, they are still. Elon Musk spent $27 million. One of his packs spent on petition incentives.

24:51

as it offered Wisconsin voters $100 to register their opposition to judicial activists and share their contact information, which is just completely different than Reed Hoffman, who was on Epstein's Lolita Express so often that he had frequent flyer miles. That is by far the single biggest donor to the Wisconsin Democrat Party. The single biggest beneficiary to Chris Taylor is, of course, the Wisconsin Democrat. party now i find this incredibly ironic christ taylor is the beneficiary of massive amounts of dark money and in fact yesterday we said exclusively with it we we outlined exclusively both here and in an investigative piece which by the way is up right at the top of heartland post dot com A big dark money organization is spending big, not just on Chris Taylor, but also on local candidates across Wisconsin. What they're doing is they are paying for staff members. They are paying for people to essentially run the campaigns of these school board candidates, city council candidates, just small municipal race candidates all across the state. Now, here's the ironic thing. Here is the ironic thing. Chris Taylor is the beneficiary of just gobs of money, right? She is outspending her opponent 15 to 1. When she was in the state legislature, what do you think she was complaining about? unlimited spending and the corrupting influence of money in political campaigns. I want to take you back to the Wisconsin Democracy campaign. Headline, Dem legislators denounce Citizens United, January 21st, 2020. On the 10th anniversary of the Citizens United decision, five Democrat legislators held a press conference in the Assembly Gallery to denounce the impact this decision has had and offer solutions. to it. Now, you might remember Citizens United, it's something Democrats don't talk about anymore. Pre-2020, Republicans were way better at fundraising, especially here in Wisconsin than Dems were. Post 2020, the Wisconsin Democrat Party put together under their former chairman Ben Wickler, a very impressive fundraising apparatus in which they nationalized every single race. They went to all of these lib billionaires, mostly in California, all across the country. They have no connection to Wisconsin whatsoever. But Wickler was able to tell them, hey, look, you can spend money on California's state politics. It's not going to matter because California is always going to be dominated by Dems. What about, though, if you use your money, it will go a lot further in Wisconsin because obviously ad buys are much cheaper in the Milwaukee media market than, say, San Francisco or Los Angeles, and you can actually take control of the ultimate swing state. They did so.

27:55

And ever since Democrats have had a massive advantage. But back in 2020, they didn't. And wouldn't you know who is quoted in this article blasting Citizens United, which allowed for outside groups to spend unlimited amounts of money on behalf of candidates? Chris Taylor, quote, Representative Taylor called this a rewrite of campaign finance laws in 2015 by Republicans. Quote, an attempt to strangle our democracy. And she called the Citizens United decision antithetical to democracy. Said Taylor, free speech rights are not conditioned by how much money you have. At the press conference, Taylor and Suebeck announced they were introducing a bill to amend the Wisconsin Constitution. to prohibit consulting political contributions made by corporations and money otherwise spent by corporations to influence elections as free speech. In other words, she didn't want outside groups like the outside groups that are currently benefiting Chris Taylor to be able to spend gobs and gobs and gobs of that dirty, dark money.

29:20

hypocrite. But to be a Democrat is, of course, to be a hypocrite. And to be ignorant is apparently to be a Democrat voter. How Taylor is taking advantage of her own voters ignorance about what's actually at stake here in the Supreme Court election. You're not going to want to miss this. It's coming up next here on the Dan O'Donnell Show. About 1,100 early votes logged in Wisconsin's largest early vote drive. Keep them coming. Keep those texts coming. We have got Brent from Oconomowoc. He says, I just early voted for the first time ever. I'm a diehard day of voter. But with spring break vacation, we fly home Monday. And with travel delays, I did not want to take that chance and miss it. Brent, you are exactly why. We encourage early voting, especially in the spring election, because you just don't know. Kudos to you for recognizing that there would be at least a chance that you wouldn't be able to get back home. You wouldn't be able to be here for election day. And you just wanted to get it over with. And that is why we encourage every just get it done with. Just have one more item checked off your to-do list. It is easy. It is quick. Just. get it done. And then text me and let me know that you did so we can count your vote in the state's largest early vote drive. Our advent knows.com talk and text line 414-799-1130. Left-wing Supreme Court candidate Chris Taylor is the beneficiary of a huge enthusiasm gap ahead of this election on April 7th. New Marquette University Law School poll released Tuesday. reveals that Democrats are far more likely to vote. 77% of Democrats say they are absolutely certain to vote, while 59% of Republicans and 53% of independents are certain they will vote according to a post on X from the MU law poll. Now, similarly... 51% of Democrats say they are, quote, very enthusiastic about voting for Taylor and other liberals in the spring election, while just 32% of Republicans and 19% of independents say the same. That is a 19% enthusiasm gap. generally speaking the candidate who has the enthusiasm gap to their advantage the candidate who has more voters say yes we are jazzed about voting we can't wait to vote they are the candidate that wins now when you combine that with the 15 to 1 spending advantage for Chris Taylor who absolutely hated outside spending in Wisconsin politics back when she was in the state legislature. It's just what an absolute phony human being.

32:28

Have you noticed, even though I don't like the fact that all of a sudden libs are dramatically outspending conservatives here in Wisconsin? Have you ever heard me call for an end to outside spending? Have you ever heard me say the Citizens United Supreme Court decision was wrongly decided? You haven't because I didn't because the Supreme Court was absolutely right in its decision in Citizens United. I have said Republicans need to do a much better job in keeping up with all of the out-of-state lib billionaires who just dumped gobs of money into this state. But as soon as Democrats are the beneficiaries of these gobs of money coming in from all corners of the country, you'll notice they stopped complaining about Citizens United. When was the last time you heard a Democrat talk about Citizens United? Exactly. But the enthusiasm gap is usually a big driver of voter turnout, especially when it's not a big election. Like the spring election, let's face it, it is going to be a tiny fraction of the voter turnout in the fall. It's sort of like spring training, right? You'll get a... A couple thousand people at Maryvale, Arizona when the Brewers do spring training games. It's a fun little thing. People go down there. They take vacations. They'll go to a couple of spring training games. But once opening day hits, then you're playing in front of the big crowds. 30, 40,000 people packed stadium. It counts, right? Well, obviously the Supreme Court election counts, but I'm doing a thing here. Go with me. Enthusiasm matters. And it matters way more when your people are less likely to go out to the polls because they maybe don't even know there's an election going on. They don't see this as really impacting their lives. They don't see this as nearly as big a deal as the governor's race. So the enthusiasm gap is a big thing. What is the biggest reason for this? enthusiasm are democrats just that much more civic minded than republicans are they more motivated because their party does not control the white house that's generally the prime driver of turnout in midterm election years if your party does not control the white house you are going to be much more likely to turn out that might be it But I think the biggest driver of this enthusiasm gap is that Democrat voters don't know what's actually going on in Wisconsin. I am a very strong believer that Democrats believe that this race is for control of the Supreme Court. And in fact, the MU law poll backs this up. 75% of registered voters incorrectly believe that this election can tip the ideological balance on the Wisconsin Supreme Court. In 2025, 83% correctly believed that the election could tip the balance.

35:42

I'm actually flabbergasted by that. Liberals currently hold a 4-3 majority because it is a conservative seat that is being defended. Even if Lazar wins, it's still going to be a 4-3 liberal majority. If Taylor wins, they will move to a 5-2 majority for the Libs. Now, the Marquette Lawpool does not break this answer down by partisan backing, which I would love to see it. I'm taking a wild guess. It's mostly Libs. However... It would stand a reason that far more Democrats and liberal-leaning independents think that the race will decide ideological control of the court and are wrong about that, since they're so much more motivated to vote, and so many more of them than Republicans say they're absolutely certain to vote. You see, they think, oh, well, we better go out and vote because conservatives can win back control of the court. Taylor has a vested interest here in keeping her own voters ignorant of the truth that it doesn't matter. Libs are still going to control the Supreme Court regardless of which candidate wins this race. So she is actually weaponizing their ignorance. Dems, how do you feel about that? Your party, your candidate, is perfectly fine. With your stupidity. And yes, we do know, by the way, it is not just me blowing smoke or being mean when I say that liberals do not know nearly as much about the world around them as conservatives. It is borne out by every single study that has been done about media consumption and about civic understanding and knowledge. Conservatives consume. Far more news. Conservatives. know far more about the world around them than do libs and libs are benefiting from the fact that what a perfect metaphor for the state of politics today democrats win when their voters are uninformed enough to vote for democrats i couldn't have said it any better myself wait i did say that because i've actually got that up as brand new column at heartland post heartland post dot com unhinged liberal of the day coming up next Those texts are coming in a whole lot of them. Dan, I voted, I voted early in Milton as part of the state's largest early vote drive. I did not bring my kid's mother because she would have canceled out my votes. Good thinking, good sir. Hi, Dan, early voted in Brookfield today. The RPWC WISRED initiative mailing was helpful, especially for County Supervisor District 9, otherwise have a general sense of who to vote for based on signage while walking the dog. Well, you don't need to do that, sir. You can just go to our brand new site, Heartland Post. It is the one-stop daily shop for conservative news and analysis here in Wisconsin. I serve as editor-in-chief. We have got a great team that is putting out more conservative news and political analysis, opinion pieces than anybody else in this state. We are just in our, what, third, fourth day of turning the site on and going live.

38:55

starting to put stuff out on social media. And I put our coverage up there with anybody in this state, including the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and including the Wisconsin State Journal. That is who we aim to counteract. Because quite frankly, their dominance of news and information in this state has been shameful because they pass themselves off, or at least they used to try to pass themselves off. as neutral and fair and balanced well they they are just liberal adjut prop and i thought it's far past time for conservatives to fight fire with fire not with conservative propaganda but with actual fair and balanced news coverage and insightful informed opinion pieces that you're just not going to get anywhere else except heartland post and oh by the way we have put together the single biggest conservative voter guide in wisconsin's history it's called the ultimate conservative voter guide and it is up right now at heartland post dot com use it share it consult it bring it with you in your pocket when you go to the polls to early vote time now to name the unhinged liberal of the day trump is hill we are in pre-nazi germany all white people are racist Trump is dangerous because he's evil. America is... You're on Hinge Liberal of the Day today is Kathy DiFilippo Kylie, who today was fired as an administrator at the Huron Superior Catholic School in Ontario, Canada, after posting this fantasy about President Trump getting assassinated publicly on TikTok. Okay, so here's how I would love to see it happen. Um... I don't think that this should be a health event. That's not tragic enough. I think it should be an infliction like he has done to others in the United States and around the world. From a distance, publicly. You mean like he very nearly was assassinated almost two years ago, you crazy psychopath? Well, maybe he's on stage. at a rally or press conference or whatever the case may be something, don't care publicly, publicly and televised. Because I think in a situation like this, there won't be very many people crying. In fact, I think the majority will be cheering. I know I will be cheering. So, Karma is a bitch, and I think that that is how this should go down. I don't think it should be peaceful. Karma isn't the only bee in this story. Kathy DeFilippo Kylie, your unhinged liberal adela. Let me tell you, I am celebrating now that she has been fired.

42:14

We call it the Daily Trump Day.

44:54

We're going to win so much. You may even get tired of winning. Trump just keeps waiting. It is a win for the administration. It's also a big win for the United States. We have to keep winning. We have to win more. We're going to win more. President Trump holding a big cabinet meeting this morning and welcomed the newest member of his cabinet, just sworn in two days ago, DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin. We all know him very well, and he was a very popular senator, a very effective senator, effective probably being the more important word, J.D., don't you think? Yes, sir. And we wish you a lot of luck. Thank you. I think you do fantastically well. Congratulations to you. An amazing family that were here yesterday in the Oval. Swarney, his family is amazing. So thank you very much. Big topic of discussion, of course, was Operation Epic Fury. The president provided a big update today. The Iranian regime is now admitting to itself that they have been decisively defeated. They're saying to people. This is a disaster. They know. That's why they're talking to us. They wouldn't talk otherwise. But they're talking to us because they've got a disaster in their hands. They're defeated. They can't make a comeback. We're free to roam over there cities and towns and destroy all of their crazy nuclear weapons and missiles and drones at their building. And we're doing that. They now have a chance to make a deal, but that's up to them. The president did try to get settled some open controversy in the media, whether it was he and not the Iranians who were begging and desperate to get to the negotiating table, which is a rather bizarre notion that President Trump or the United States would be desperate. We can keep bombing the heck out of Iran. for the next month and a half if we really wanted to. And just so we set the record straight because I've been watching the Wall Street Journal's fake news and all these stories that get printed like, oh, I want to make a deal. They are begging to make a deal, not me. They're begging to make a deal. And anybody that saw what was happening over there would understand why they want to make a deal. But they say, oh, we're not talking to them. Anybody would know that. And only... A total fool. And they're not fools. They're very smart, actually, in a certain way. And they're great negotiators. I say they're lousy fighters, but they're great negotiators. And they are begging to work out a deal. I don't know if we'll be able to do that. I don't know if we're willing to do that. They should have done that four weeks ago. They should have done it two years ago. Or they should have done it when we first came into office. But they didn't, and now they are where they are, as Secretary of War Pete Hegseth outlined. In 27 days ago, Iran had a modern military. Never in recorded history has a nation's military been so quickly and effectively neutralized. Operation Epic Fury is not an endless war. It's a decisive campaign with clear objectives to destroy Iran's offensive military capabilities and ensure.

48:10

They never obtain a nuclear weapon. And that ultimately was the biggest objective in launching this operation, said Secretary of State Marco Rubio. The most important job any president has is to keep the American people safe. And every president says it, but we have a president that means it and does something about it. As the president outlined very clearly to the world on the night this operation began. Iran has been at war with the United States for 47 years. For 47 years, Iran has been killing Americans and attacking Americans across this planet. And now the presidents had an opportunity to do something about it. And they all warned about how Iran was dangerous, but they refused to act. And this president's not someone that's going to refuse to act. He's not going to leave a danger like this in place. He's going to address it, and that is what he is doing. Now, the biggest uncontrolled area, if you could even call it that, is, of course, the strait of poor moves, where the remnants of the Ayatollah's regime are still making it very, very difficult to transport oil and other goods. Treasury Secretary Scott... Scott Bessent during today's cabinet meeting addressed Iran's ability to fund terror proxies, which he says is now largely non-existent and the status of oil movement through the strength. We have systematically weakened Iran's ability to fund operations and procure weapons, and that required months of preparations. Threats to American national security have no place in the global economic system. The oil market is well supplied. We have taken actions to ensure oil supplies stranded at sea are made available to the global market. Your bold actions like the Development Finance Corporation's Maritime Reinsurance Program in conjunction with Central Command will soon provide shippers through the Gulf region with a level of security we have never seen before. Mr. President, we are starting to see more and more movement in and out of the Gulf today. And this is more than yesterday, and this is the beginning. I am confident that shipping... Traffic will continue to increase on a daily basis even before we secure the straits. That, ladies and gentlemen, your daily Trump date here on the Dan O'Donnell Show. You want to join us or take part in the state's largest early vote drive. The advent knows.com talk and text line is always open. 414-799 1130, and we have about 1,100. Early votes already logged. 776 votes on the first day. 416 votes on the second. And let's keep them coming. My son, husband, and I early voted in West Bend. Great to hear. Hi, Dan. Two early votes today. My wife and I voted. I voted today in Brookfield and FYI. They are soliciting poll workers.

51:02

for later this year. So if you want to volunteer, it is, I'm told, very rewarding, very fun, head on out to be a poll worker. I've always wanted to do so. You folks do realize why I can't volunteer to be a poll worker. You know that, right? Like, I'm always nervous about actually talking to people at my polling place, and my wife and I were... talking about malice should we go today in early vote usually i like to go on the very first day of early voting just because i'm telling everybody in the state to early vote it'd be pretty hypocritical yeah yeah i'll get around to it when i tell people it's just get it done just get it done just get it done Obviously, with the launch of the Heartland Post this week and the state's largest early vote guide, the state's largest early vote. The ultimate conservative voter guide, the state's largest early vote drive, two separate things. With that, with getting everything squared away with that, just didn't have time. I've pretty much been working. Boy, folks, I've been working almost nonstop. And I am talking. 15, 16 hour days pretty routinely for the past several weeks to try to get this site launched and to try to. Look, we need to take back this state. We need to take back the governor's mansion. We need to hold both houses of the legislature. It is that important. And that's why I am going to do everything I can. We need to get Maria Lazar elected to the Supreme Court. If she doesn't, if she loses. I'm just going to be honest with you. Everything is going against her, is going against conservatives. The enthusiasm gap because liberals believe erroneously that control of the court is at stake. That's a huge advantage for Chrissy Taylor. The financial advantage, whistpolitics.com, did a great analysis. 15 to 1 is the money advantage. That said, this is only an eight-point race with 46% undecided. Taylor was scared enough that she didn't want to debate until March 25th and then got the most convenient case of kidney stones that allowed her to delay the debate even further. No, and please don't misunderstand. I know there is some hack at the journal Sentinel or the state journal or some liberal outfit listening to me right now. No, I do not believe she's faking her kidney stones. No, I am not. In fact, I have said it seems insanely painful. I have known multiple people who have kidney stones. They can be debilitating, but everybody I know... who has had something that they absolutely have to do, has gotten that thing done, whether it's producing a radio show, as my old producer and now news guy Dave Michaels did when he had kidney stones. I feel bad. I half expect to get a text from him saying, Dan, stop talking about my kidney stones. I have talked more about Dave Michaels never, nether regions than any human being probably ever in the history of time.

54:15

Just in the last couple of days. No, I am not saying I'm not trying to minimize that. In fact, I don't wish kidney stones on anybody. I wish a very quick recovery for Chris Taylor. But the reality is she didn't want to debate until way late in this election cycle. because she knew a debate could only hurt her. And look, it's to her advantage. There's not going to be a crowd at this debate. It's not going to be at Marquette University. Apparently, we were wrong. I reported yesterday. It's still going to be at Marquette. It apparently isn't. They couldn't secure the venue. So it's just going to be at the WISN studio. I believe it's going to be broadcast statewide. It makes sense. They've got to do this on short notice. And all of this benefits her. Because she has the most to lose in a debate. The fact that she is still concerned that she could lose this race speaks volumes to me. And look, even though control of the Supreme Court is not up for grabs, conservatives need to know if Lazar loses and it goes to a five to two liberal majority and then next year. Annette Ziegler, the former Chief Justice, has already announced she's not running. If the conservative in that race loses, it goes to 6-1. And then in 2029, if Brian Haggadorn loses, or more likely he announces he's not going to run again because, frankly, he has ticked off every conservative in this state with his insane liberal rulings over the past several years, including yours truly, who has been one of his biggest critics. If the conservative who runs in Hagadorn's place loses, liberals will have a 7-0 Supreme Court. Governor Tom Tiffany will be stymied at every turn. Even if we continue to control the state legislature, which I believe, I actually do believe that as things stand right now, if Democrats are dumb enough to nominate Frandella, either Francesca Hong or Mandela Barnes, one of the socialist members of the state legislature and former lieutenant governor there. I do believe Tom Tiffany wins, and I believe he wins by a bigger margin than people think. And with that, Republicans will continue to control at least the state assembly and very likely the state Senate too. But a 7-0 Supreme Court will overturn Act 10 instantly. And you saw Milwaukee County Executive today, David Crowley announced he's, because he's getting absolutely trounced in the polls, folks, in the gubernatorial private, he's getting absolutely trounced. So he had to put out a wacky left-wing agenda so that the wacky left-wing voters that he has to win over before he can run in a general election will side with him.

57:16

He put out a plan for his first 30 days. Biggest one, repeal Act 10. Repeal Act 10. That is the biggest. If you think your taxes are high now, folks, imagine if Act 10 is repealed. And it's almost certainly going to be repealed by the state Supreme Court. It's currently working. There is a case, yet another case, to overturn Act 10 that's currently making its way through the state court system. Eventually, it's going to get to the libs on the state Supreme Court, and it is almost certainly going to be overturned. If it doesn't, Governor David Crowley says he's going to do it. Governor Mandela Barnes has already said he is going to do. Every one of them will overturn Act 10. Your property taxes will double if not triple. You think I am kidding. And the thing that nobody's talking about with the repeal of Act 10, what do you suppose happens if all of a sudden every single school district has to pay for half of... actually all of employee health care benefits like pre act 10 and they have to pay for pension retirement savings for their employees what do you think is going to happen not only that What do you think is going to happen when teachers' unions start suing the district? If you start seeing class action suits against school districts for the back pay and the back benefits that they were owed because, after all, it was an unconstitutional law that they were filing or they were following Act 10. What happens if all those school districts get sued? You are going to see... bankruptcies, the likes of which you have never seen. State of Wisconsin can't go bankrupt, but school districts sure as heck can. What do you think is going to happen? Taxpayers are going to have to bail out these school districts, and you are going to see massive increases in your taxes. Every single Democrat wants it. That's what's at stake, ladies and gentlemen. All right, you want to take part in the state's largest early vote drive, 414799, 1130. Keep the lefties from taking over the Supreme Court because it will happen before another liberal seat needs to be defended in 2030. If we don't get off the Schneid and start figuring out how to win state Supreme Court races and win spring elections, I'm hoping the ultimate conservative voter guide will go a long way to getting people out there. Go to HeartlandPost.com. Find that voter guide. Use it. share it, make sure everybody sees it so they know who to vote for in these municipal races, in some of these judicial races, county board races, that sort of thing. We have got the most candidates anybody has ever compiled.

It is now gone final Brewers win in an opening day route over the Chicago White Sox 14 to 2. We should find out, is that a record for most runs scored at a home opener for the Brewers? It seems like it would be a big, big total. You've got to go through 50 years of opening days, but it seems like that would be up there. The Miz, Jacob Mizorowski, the opening day starter, goes five very strong innings, gives up just one earned run, strikes out 11 White Sox en route to his first win of the season. Just three walks against 11 strikeouts. The Brewers got their runs in bunches in the fourth, fifth, and sixth innings to take an 11-1 lead. The big one, towering 470. a 407-foot home run by Sal Freelick in the bottom of the fifth that scored Jake Bowers, who also homered in this game in the seventh. That was a three-run shot to make it 14-1. Top of the ninth, the White Sox added one. Did not matter, of course, 14-2. The final Brewers are undefeated on this 2026 baseball season. Producer Eric says it does look like we could have a record here for most runs scored on opening day. He's been looking through all Brewer's opening days. I'm telling you, I am sort of a student of opening day. I attended enough of them while working for the Brewers years ago. I don't remember them scoring this many runs. Very rare in baseball that you get. 12 runs or more, really anything in double digits is an exceptionally high scoring game. 14 runs. That is a big, big total. So kudos to the Brewers getting the season started off. Right. A Democrat by the name of John Garimendi, he is a congressman from California, accidentally said the quiet part out loud. He did an interview with News Nation today and was asked, do Democrats really plan to just keep this DHS shutdown going forever? You will keep this going until Republicans agree to that. Will you keep this going to still make going until Republicans agree? Why not? Why not keep it going? Well, maybe because wait times, even with ICE's assistance at airports are starting to creep back up as people are starting to take off for spring break vacations. And because TSA agents who work exceptionally hard this time of year because of the spring break travel season, they have gone without pay.

1:05:56

Senate Majority Leader John Thune today on the floor of the Senate absolutely ripped Democrats who say they care about TSA agents, but apparently don't want them to actually get paychecks. They claim that they're concerned about TSA officers and other working without pay. The Mr. President, talk is cheap. And their actions belie their words. If Democrats cared about TSA officers, if they cared about Coast Guard employees, if they cared about the vital work of the Department of Homeland Security, then they would be getting serious about closing a deal, not ceaselessly offering up the same unchanging list of demands like a broken record or a particularly nightmarish version of Groundhog Day. Democrats shut down the entire federal government for a record-breaking 43 days. Their Department of Homeland Security shutdown is now on its 41st day, which means that thanks to Democrats, TSA agents, has spent almost half, almost half of the fiscal year working without pay. Let that sink in for a minute, Mr. President. Thanks to Democrats, TSA agents have spent almost half of this fiscal year working without pay. There's no wonder they're quitting in droves. Boy, I'll say, that's a pretty good illustration of how callous Democrats actually are when it comes to protecting working people, including working people who supposedly they are best friends with, and that is federal government employees. They don't actually care about TSA agents. Do you know who actually does care about TSA agents? Elon Musk, who apparently is going to dig into his own pocket to pay them, Republicans want to reopen the government. Democrats refuse because they don't want any deportations. They don't want any dangerous criminal illegal aliens like this scumbag from Venezuela who murdered poor Sheridan Gorman in Chicago last week. They don't want them out of the country. Prove me wrong. Seriously. Prove me wrong. In about the most ultimate callous, disgusting move I think I've ever seen. Do you know the Democrat mayor of Chicago, Brandon Johnson, went forward with a ceremony. They did one of these things where you get to name the salt truck. You know, it's like a contest, name the city's new salt truck. Guess what the city of Chicago's idiot voters picked for the new salt truck in this little online poll. They called it Abolish Ice. Now, in an incredibly high profile and insanely brutal murder, an innocent Loyola University freshman was gunned down in cold blood by an illegal alien. You would think, you would think if you had the political instincts or common decency of a garden slug.

1:09:26

You would not go ahead with your ceremony unveiling the abolish ice snowplow or salt truck. Get it abolish ice because it's a salt truck and snowplow. Johnson did so anyway. Reporter actually asked, uh, Is this a good idea? It seems kind of in poor taste, you know, since ICE was never contacted when Jose Medina three years ago shoplifted and he had just snuck into the country and now he's murdered an innocent 18-year-old young woman. Do you think this is in poor taste? No, no, said Johnson. Democrats don't care about Sheridan Gorman. As one older woman says, she was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, she probably startled the poor illegal alien. Like what? He's a wild raccoon? Don't startle him. He might attack you. Shouldn't be in this country. None of these people should be. We've got half of Venezuela is apparently on Chicago's south side. They're perfectly fine with that. You've got Trende Aragua gangbangers taking over apartment complexes in Colorado. No, no, no. That never happened. That's a myth. No, we can actually see the gangbangers. They are throwing up signs right now. You've got the media cameras pointed out. No, no, no, not there. Not there. Nope. Nope. Not happening. That's ultimately it. Democrats don't care. And when I said the theme of this show today was weaponized ignorance, how Democrats take advantage of just the ignorance of, I hate to say it, but there's no other word for, of the stupidity and gullibility of their own voters. They'll just believe any slop that comes out of these people's mouths. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, we care about TSA agents. Well, you could just, you know, fund DHS. And Republicans have repeatedly offered a deal that will fund TSA specifically so we can get through the Easter break, spring break travel season. Nope, can't do that. We want to make sure that the budget for ICE. Remember, ICE is fully funded, but there isn't a separate appropriation, apparently, for mass deportation operations. And Democrats, they literally care about keeping criminal illegal aliens in this country over the likes of Sheridan Gorman, over the likes of any TSA agent who's gone half a year without pay now since the start of the fall. And if people like you who just want to get to your spring break destination to go to Disneyland or whatever, they don't care about you.

1:12:23

They care about their new constituency base. And by the way, that is exactly why they can't possibly allow the Save America Act to pass. Because they can't possibly allow birth or excuse me citizenship, right? That's another one, birthright citizenship. Does any reasonable person think the child of an illegal alien or some Chinese woman who came here specifically for birth tourism so that her child could have dual Chinese and American citizenship? Do we really believe that the framers of the 14th Amendment included that, that they intended that? In the idea of birthright citizenship, of course they didn't. Was it ever contemplated that we would have an invading army of the third world just kind of coming in, having children and saying, oh, we got anchor babies. You can't deport us. We're just here now. And did you ever think that the Democrat Party, the oldest political party in this country, would now be completely beholden to people who do not have any right to be in the United States? Make no mistake. Democrats know they're voting or at the very least Democrats know that eventually when if they just import enough of them, when they get total control of government, the presidency, the Senate and the House, they're just going to have a mass amnesty and they're going to make all of these people legal and then they won't have to worry about elections ever again. They have been saying this consistently for 30 years. Why won't people believe them? Speaking of the Save America Act and impassioned speech by Utah Senator Mike Lee and Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson makes the case for filibuster reform in an op-ed. Okay, I know everybody's thinking it, so I'm just going to go out and say, we need to get the ear of the Nick, Dick, and Paul show and tell them they got to reorder those names. Because when they say Nick, Dick, and Paul really quickly in the advertisement for their podcast, trust me, nobody is hearing Paul after the name Dick. We are hearing something else that made me actually sit up at my show. I was like working on getting the 5 o'clock hour ready. And by the way, we have got some great stuff in the 5 o'clock hour. The International Olympic Committee does the right thing on transgender athletes. Too late, unfortunately, for all of the women who got viciously beaten by that male boxer who swore up and down that she was a biological female until, of course.

1:15:14

It was revealed that she's not in Maine-Kalif. I was like, it's the Nick Dick and Paul show. What? The Nick what and what show? Thought iHeart Radio is a family-friendly app. The Nick, Dick, and Paul show. At least enunciate. See, this is the importance of enunciation when you are doing advertisements. If you were listening to the show on WISN, our flagship station, let's just say it sounded like a way dirtier podcast that it actually is. It is the Dan O'Donnell Show, which does exist in podcast form. And don't worry, don't worry. You won't put on, you won't be put on any registry for saying the Dan O'Donnell Show podcast too fast. Please do subscribe to the podcast on Iheart Radio or wherever you listen. to podcasts an impassioned speech on the floor of the senate today the senate has basically been debating nonstop the save america act essentially republicans are doing a filibuster without an actual filibuster they are not allowing any other senate business to be taken care of except debate on the Save America Act, which of course just requires voter ID to vote in federal elections across the country. Wisconsin has had voter ID for what a decade now, decade plus. Has it depressed turnout in any way? No, of course not. Are there any Democrats who would say after they won the last two state Supreme Court elections in 23 and 25 that they were being, that there was voter suppression, that they couldn't turn their voters out at the polls? I mean, we had how many mail-in ballots come in in 2020? that mysteriously didn't come in in 2024, I dare say there was no voter suppression in Wisconsin. Nowhere has there been voter suppression after voter ID. In fact, it's been thoroughly debunked. It's been disproven. But when the voter ID debate was going on here in Wisconsin, I distinctly remember Democrats telling us over and over and over again that minorities were not going to be able to vote. Black and Hispanic residents were not going to be able to vote because...

1:17:46

why again they're they're not competent enough to get driver's licenses that seems pretty racist but okay dem's you do you well now it's women are too incompetent to be able to update their registration information and everybody apparently is too stupid to get a copy of their birth certificate or a passport which more than 50% of americans have already There would be a citizenship requirement for voting, which the overwhelming majority of Americans are in favor of. But Democrats can't let that happen because, again, their constituency now is people who do not belong in this country. Their constituency... is illegal immigrants who they are making pretty explicit promises to that if you come into this country we will put you on a pathway to voting or excuse me a pathway to citizenship but of course what is the big thing that comes along with citizenship tell me a democrat who does not talk about a pathway to citizenship for every single illegal alien that is in this country they all do There's a reason for it. So Mike Lee, Senator from Utah, he has been the biggest supporter of the Save America Act, made an impassioned speech on the floor of the Senate today. I'm not going away. I will be back on this floor in this chamber day after day, week after week, month after month, as long as it takes. I'm not giving up. Not a chance in hell am I giving up on this because this is about the American dream itself. This is about the fact that when you allow non-citizens to vote, you are robbing. Something from the American people, from each individual American citizen, something which is distinctively, rightfully theirs. You cannot take that away. You are taking it away when you allow somebody else to cast a vote that will cancel out yours. That, Mr. President, is unfair. It is unacceptable. It is un-American. It is illegal. We must not tolerate it, and we will not. Yeah. Senator Lee's got my vote. So too does Senator Ron Johnson, Wisconsin's great senator, who wrote a big piece at Dailywire.com. Dailywire.com. I've seen enough. The Senate is broken and it's time to change the rules. He believes that it is absolutely time to do away with the filibuster because it was never intended to simply stop legislation in its tracks the way Democrats have been using it now for 50 years. There needs to be changed. And oh, by the way, as Johnson has said repeatedly in this piece, it is behind a paywall. You do need to create an account on Daily Wire. I don't believe. Actually, I don't think this is a paywall. I think you just need to log in or sign up or whatever. I am not a member of Daily Wire, so of course I was going to read a portion of this. I had it printed out. It's sitting in my office. Maybe we'll get to it in the 5 o'clock hour. But Johnson makes a great point.

1:20:53

And that is, do you realize the last time Democrats had control of the Senate, all but two Democrats voted to abolish the filibuster so that they could pass radical Joe Biden or at least radical nameless, faceless 30 and 40 something they thems who secretly controlled the Biden presidency agenda items? All but two, all but two Democrats voted to abolish the filibuster, voted to go nuclear, to do the nuclear option and to get rid of the filibuster. Do you know who those two Democrats were? Neither of them are in the Senate anymore. Kirsten Cinema of Arizona, Joe Manchin of West Virginia. Every single Democrat who is currently in the Senate would vote to abolish the filibuster. Democrats retake control of the Senate majority. They get a Democrat president in 2028. They get a Democrat House. You better damn well believe the first thing they are going to do is abolish that filibuster, make any number of various territories states. Forget about just Puerto Rico and Washington, D.C. You'll see the state of Guam. You'll see the state of American Samoa. They will just keep on adding senators from these liberal-leaning territories until there's no chance Republicans could ever win the Senate again, and they won't stop there. They'll just keep adding justices to the Supreme Court. They'll pack it so thoroughly that it'll make FDR blush. All of this is coming, folks. So Republicans can either get election security to make sure no election is ever stolen again and pass the Save America Act or they can do nothing. They can keep the filibuster as is and just watch Democrats abolish it the second it gets in their way of absolute power. You're listening to the Dan O'Donnell show right back after this. Welcome back. It is the Dan O'Donnell Show, classical conservatism and contemporary style. It's a tour de force of truth. And the truth is that there are big differences biologically between men and women. Shockingly, it took the International Olympic Committee until today. to realize that, but they did come to the right decision banning biological males from women's sports for the upcoming 2008 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.

1:23:36

IOC doesn't get unsung hero of the day for recognizing biological reality like a decade too late. Today's unsung heroes of the day are the TSA agents who are still coming to work. Those officers have not been paid for 41 days. And as Senate Majority Leader John Thune pointed out on the floor of the Senate today, they have in the past... Nine months gone 85 days without a single paycheck. That's absolutely incredible. Almost half of the time in the past fiscal year, in this current fiscal year, half of that time... TSA officers have not been paid, yet they are still going to work, and look, I understand a number of them, a big number of them have quit and just said, look, we can't, I have to feed my family, I can't be a political pawn whenever Democrats decide that they want to shut down the government over nothing because they care about illegal aliens more than they care about my family and me. But the ones who are still... Manning security Bill Gates at airports across the country. They are your unsung heroes of the day. Dan O'Donnell Show coming right back in just a second. Janet and Tony voted early and often in Hale's Corners. Report it was low turnout. Wait, this isn't Brown County, LOL. Not sure I get that one, but okay. Good afternoon. DoD just got done voting in TOSA after using the information found in the Heartland Post for the TOSA school board. Thank you for posting the conservative candidates. Now on my way to help my 93-year-old mom exercise her civic duty. By the way, I forwarded the link for Heartland Post to as many conservative leading friends as I have in my contact list. That is fantastic, sir. Thank you so much. That means a lot. That is exactly why we have been working so hard on putting this list together is to use it as a resource, to share it. That's also why I started doing the state's largest early vote drive. By the way, we have 1,100, was it 92? Yeah, 1,192. votes logged 776 after the first day of the early vote. We didn't do the opening day, Monday, because we said, okay, look, you know, people didn't know it was going on. I did get a whole ton of people texting, but we said, we're going to start the count on Tuesday. So Tuesday and then Wednesday into today, Thursday. We have got 1,192 early votes. I started doing that years ago because I said, look, I want people to feel like they're doing something, to feel like they're a part of something in taking this state back. I recognized very early President Trump recognized very early. I took him a little bit after the 2022 midterms to realize what an advantage in-person early voting is. No, I still don't particularly like early voting. In fact, I frankly don't like it at all. Don't like mail-in voting at all. That's why it is my goal to abolish it by getting so much better at it than Democrats that they beg us to go back to simply in-person election day voting. It's election day. It is not election month. But in the meantime, we've got to play what essentially amounts to a rigged game, and we have to play it a lot better than we have been playing it before, especially in these spring elections, folks, because so many people are going to be going on spring break. My kids' spring break, I suspect many public school spring breaks are next week.

The election is not until the following week, Tuesday, April 7th, but a whole lot of private schools, Catholic schools, Lutheran schools. 1:31:57

The other big story today from the world of sport, not just that the Brewers dominated the Chicago White Sox on opening day 14 to 2. Transgender women, aka, you know, men, are now excluded from women's sports at the Olympics. The IOC agreed to a new eligibility policy ahead of the 2028 L.A. Games. The International Olympic Committee said eligibility for any female category event at the Olympic Games or any other IOC event, including individual and team sports, is now limited to biological females. The Associated Press, it is unclear how many, if any, transgender women are competing at an Olympic level. No woman who transitioned from being born male competed at the 2024 Paris Summer Games. The weightlifter Laurel Hubbard did at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021 without winning a medal. How bad do you have to suck at weightlifting? If you're like a weightlifter and you say, okay, I'm going to be a woman now. And you can't even beat the women. Ladies, I know you're strong. I know you're strong. And I know like half of the women in this audience are stronger than me. Okay. I'm on one leg for one. And even though I have been getting back to the gym, I am feeling every one of my 44 years. So I'm not like this macho like, oh, yeah, I'm stronger and faster and tougher than any woman. I am not. Okay. I will admit that right now. But if you are like any sort of weightlifter of any renown and you transition to try to go to the Olympics, it's pretty pathetic if you did not do anything there. In any event, what is the Associated Press intentionally glossing over? An Algerian biological male absolutely did win gold in boxing. His name is Eman Khalif. And it was revealed that he did, in fact, have male chromosomes. He was born male. He is a biological male. I am told, and I don't want to be crass here. And I swear I am just using the term that I think is scientifically correct. I believe Khalif suffers from hermaphroditeism and is a hermaphrodite, meaning he was born with both. sex organs. Okay, that's literally the definition. But he does have male chromosomes. A chromosomal test will determine whether or not you are a biological male or a biological female. It is very, very simple. X, X or X, Y. Can't get around that. Eman Khalif. beat the holy hell out of any number of women's en route to the gold medal. The IOC said that, and this does not seem correct at all, that in speed and strength events, biological males have a 10 to 20% advantage over women. Although in what are described as power sports, such as boxing,

1:35:25

The advantage can be greater than 100% for explosive power events, including punching sports. Punching sports. I am aware of one punching sport. I guess what karate? Is that considered a punching sport? That's more of a kicking and punching sport. Judo. That's more of like grab the person by the shirt collar and throw them over your back sport. Boxing is when I think of punching sports, I think of one punching sport. That is boxing. You have a greater than 100% advantage. The proof that there is, first of all, the proof that there is a biological advantage is literally in the way that males and females are made. Okay. We are, we are created regardless of whether you believe in creationism or evolution or some combination of the two. There is no doubt, okay? Let's say males and females are clearly created to have separate biological functions. I think that's abundantly clear, right? Just in the composition of the male and female bodies, the female body is made to raise and nurture children, to give birth to children, to give them sustenance. Males, no matter how much we try, guys, cannot produce sustenance for a newborn baby. No matter how many times we try to get that kid to latch, he ain't going to latch, if you follow me. Women had a specific biological function. From the very start, and that is to raise children. This is why societies across time and across the entire planet were all sort of function, they were all sort of built around this reality. The women would stay home, and I'm not, folks, please don't, don't misunderstand. I'm not, women's places in the kitchen, not in the Olympics. No, of course not. I love women's sports at the Olympics. But I'm saying in terms of why males have a huge advantage in physical activity, it's because we were literally made to. We were made to go out and kill the freaking mammoths so that the entire tribe could eat. The women had an equally important job, and that was to take care of preparing the meat and making the clothes out of the mammoth pelts, taking care of the most important role that we have in civilization. Like literally the most important role we have as humans, the most important role we have as living organisms, is to propagate the species, is to birth and then nurture and raise to adulthood children.

1:38:29

So when you have all of this biology going forward, the idea that, well, there's no real difference. And if you just take enough estrogen pills, well, then that advantage is negated. No, it isn't at all. But if you needed any proof, I mean, here is the logical proof to debunk this idea that, oh, yes, yes, there's no difference whatsoever. How many biological females are clamoring to play in male sports? Is Caitlin Clark trying to get to the NBA? WNBA just had a big collective bargaining agreement where, and you know what, folks, honestly, good for them. The maximum salary is now $1.3 million, which of course, this league that just hates the Golden Goose will never, ever, ever give to Caitlin Clark. It is shocking how much these ungrateful broads. just despise Caitlin Clark. The reason you got this new collective bargaining agreement, the only reason anybody cares about the WNBA is because of Caitlin Clark. What did they do? They blatantly and flagrantly fouled her so badly. She was injured for most of her second season in the league. Wouldn't you know it? Ticket sales plummeted, TV ratings plummeted, merch sales plummeted, all because the Michael Jim Jordan of women's basketball, who, heaven forbid, just happens to be white. was hurt by the jealous, angry lesbians who populate that league. But let's say Caitlin Clark was not the best players. The reigning MVP, Asia Wilson, right? We are told Asia Wilson and who's the one from LSU that just hates Caitlin Clark? What's her name again? Angel Reese. Angel Reese. Let's say Angel Reese and Asia Wilson, for all you, for all you libs who know absolutely nothing about basketball. Let's just say that they are way better than Caitlin Clark. Asia Wilson's get $1.3 million. That is well below the minimum salary for an NBA contract. If Asia Wilson was even a role player on an NBA roster, she'd be making $20 million a year. Huge financial incentive, right? To get 20 times what you're getting paid today? To be a trailblazer, to be the first woman to ever play in the end? Why is it that no woman has ever tried to make an NBA roster? Softball players. Women softball players are amazing. I saw a college athlete throw a pitch. It was like 79 miles an hour. And because they're 43 feet away and not 60 feet, six inches, that's the equivalent of a major league baseball pitch coming at you at 112 miles an hour. Good luck hitting that. I mean, that is really impressive. How come she's not trying to play in major league baseball?

1:41:44

You'd think. Jenny Finch was the dominant women's softball player for years, probably like 15 years ago or something like that. She's easily the most famous women's softball player. Why didn't she try to make 10 million bucks a year by making a major league baseball roster? Because there are biological differences. Liberals, however, don't seem to recognize this, which brings us to the Maryland State House. We're a liberal by the name of Ken Kerr. was put in his place after he supported legislation to require tampon dispensers in every single men's and boys bathroom in every single state-owned or state-financed building in the entire state of Maryland. A Republican by the name of Kathy Zeliga. hilariously called him on this insanity. Menstrual hygiene products means appropriately sized tampons. What are appropriately sized tampons? I've never heard of such a thing. What do you consider appropriate? Oh, Ken Kerr. It just means that tampons are offered. They're no specific size. Well, apparently there's four different sizes, so which one would you like them to use? Probably the biggest, right? Just a regular-sized tampon in the bathroom. Oh, just a regular one. Okay, maybe it should say that and not appropriately sized tampon. Now, is this going in all bathrooms, men's and women's? Yes. How about the Ravens Stadium? If it is a state-owned building, then yes, it would go in. It's a public building. Oreo Park? Well, if it applies to the Raven Stadium, it would also apply to Orioles Park. Yeah, and obviously, you need a tampon dispenser in the male locker room, the boys' locker room, for the Baltimore Ravens. Because Lamar Jackson clearly needs a tampon. I mean, maybe he does when he's whining about pass interference calls, but that's a whole other thing. It just exposes. Kudos to this woman, Kathy Zaliga, for exposing just how ridiculous this. Lips, listen to yourselves. I know you all hate my guts. I know you will never, ever, ever listen to political advice from Dan O'Donnell. ditch the craziness. The biggest disadvantage that Democrats have is that normal people view them as freaking crazy. And this is a big reason why. We need to have tampons in the men's bathroom. Why? What possible reason could there be to have tampons? Well, because men can menstruate too. Tell me, when is the last time you saw a man menstruating?

1:45:02

Like, please, explain to me party of science. All the menstruating men in the Baltimore Ravens locker room that you are saying, just be normal. Just be normal, Libs. You can't do it. Why is that? Welcome back to the Dan O'Donnell show. Why can't Libs just be normal? Like, why do they stand up for the truly craziest stuff imaginable? It's actually a fascinating question. Well, because they themselves have a stunning amount of mental illness. And I say this not to be mean. I am a huge, huge advocate for mental health, for getting treatment, for addiction, for substance abuse issues. I am very open with my own struggles with anxiety. And apparently I have had ADHD my entire life. I know. Shocking.

1:47:51

shocking that Dan O'Donnell had ADHD. Well, it was just diagnosed when I was 42, 43 years old. See, when I was growing up, if you got good grades, you skated by. Even if you had every other classic symptom of ADHD, you would skate by. For me, it's just been something as simple as getting my brain chemistry right. And I can do that with drugs. right that sounds really bad like i'm not taking like cocaine to balance myself out i'm taking prescription drugs that will balance my serotonin levels and i i'm not even actually sure what the ADHD ones do but it it basically just counteracts whatever the faulty wiring is or the the incorrect dosage of of chemicals within your brain so it's it was just a matter of that for for me Democrats have a stunning amount of not just like anxiety disorders, but true deep depression. I believe there is a very high level of schizophrenia and psychosis on the political left. You don't need to take my word for it. Every single study that has ever been done on political ideology and mental health has said that liberals are way more mentally unhealthy than conservatives are. In fact, it does not get more mentally unwell, statistically speaking. than a liberal white woman under the age of about 35. And wouldn't you know it? Those seem to be the most radicalized ones, right? The ones who are screaming in the faces of cops during the no kings rallies. By the way, there's going to be another sad little round of mentally unwell 20-something women and boomer libs in the no kings protests. The city of Madison says they're expecting 20,000 people this Saturday in a no king's protest. 20,000 in Madison. That's a pretty sad turnout for Madison. Madison, you said they were going to make the teachers pay a little bit more for their health insurance or they're actually going to have to pay something for their health insurance. Like 150,000 of them turned up like 16 years ago. 20,000, that's nothing. But a big reason that liberals can't just stand up for normal stuff. is because they equate normal traditional mainstream American values as oppressive. And they must always stand up for the people who they believe to be oppressed, those who are the identified victims of the broader American culture. This is why, no matter what, they have a liberal hierarchy of victimhood based upon race.

1:50:59

White people are always at the bottom of this pyramid. White people are always the oppressors. White people are always in the wrong. Slightly above them are Hispanics. Black people for a long time sat at the top of that pyramid of oppression by America. Now? Well, sorry, folks. Illegal aliens have topped you. For a long time. Democrats were fighting for equal rights for gay people, right? The right to marry who you want. Love wins and so forth. Believe it or not, is it a big supporter. of gay marriage, not on moral grounds at all, but on legal grounds. It was fundamentally unconstitutional that a male and a female could enter into a contract that gave them tax benefits and other various benefits from the state. while a male and a male or a female and a female could not enter into that same state recognized contract regardless of what churches say about it has nothing to do with the sacred sacrament of marriage but in terms of the legal entity known as a marriage the fact that two people of different sexes were allowed to enter into it but two people of the same sex were not was always unconstitutional That's why I believe the Obergefell v. Hodges decision that legalized gay marriage was actually correct. But once gay marriage was legalized all those years ago, it was 12, 13 years ago, Democrats had no oppressed people to fight for. In other words, they could not virtue signal by standing up for this, this oppressed minority who just wanted basic civil rights. Because they got it. Because the ostensibly Supreme Court actually voted for gay marriage. Now, this left them in a very difficult spot. How can we also weaponize the gay rights issue? against conservatives how can we cast them as bigots because remember a big part of democrat political strategy is to not actually stand for anything that the american people want but to convince the american people that the alternative republicans are so repugnant and so awful that you can't possibly vote for them and yes we stand for nothing but at least we're not racist sexist bigots homophobes like those evil republicans

1:53:44

Well, it's kind of difficult to weaponize the gay issue if there is no gay issue. So they glommed on to the transgender issue. Now, transgenderism, aka gender dysmorphic disorder or gender dysphoria, was long categorized not as a sexual identity, but as mental illness. There are deep ties to autism, to schizophrenia, and to severe depression and mental health issues to the tune of 41 percent, 41 percent of trans-identified individuals commit suicide. Now, talk about committing suicide, not engage in what's known as suicidal gestures or suicidal ideation, actually commit suicide. When they talk about the transgenocide, it's not that evil Republicans are beating transgender people to death in the street. It's that so many transgender people kill themselves because they are so deeply unhappy. Democrats. turned what was always a mental illness and a rather severe one, identified very closely with some of the worst mental maladies that you can have. And they instead turned that into something to be championed, something to be celebrated, not something to be treated. Sometimes treatment for gender dysphoria does include transitioning. If a doctor, a responsible one, says to an adult, this is clear, an adult over the age of 25 with a fully developed brain who can fully appreciate the consequences of a life-altering decision like transition surgery or taking hormones or whatever it is. I can think of nothing more barbaric. than giving these to children. I have long thought that the parents who do this have Munchausen by proxy or whatever it is. You can't call it Munchausen by proxy anymore. There's a new politically correct term for it, and I forget it offhand. No, no, no. These children at age five know that they were born in the wrong body. No, they didn't. No, they didn't. Just like the children who incorrectly believe they have cancer, they are being influenced by their parents, usually the mother. Usually one of those mentally ill, young liberal women. One of the most dangerous things to ever come out of this is that these people are not getting the treatment that they need. They are not getting comprehensive mental health care. They are not getting on the type of drugs that would treat their ill. I'm telling you, folks, it was a life-changing thing. First to get on a generic version of Lexapro called Acetylopram to treat my anxiety. And then the real life-changing stuff, I am on a slow release form of Adderall called Asteris. No, I don't get high. It's not like I'm taking meth all day. It properly regulates the

1:57:14

brain chemistry that is going on in my head and allows me to more properly just deal with life as it is okay so if i didn't have that let's say my doctor said well dan you don't actually have ADHD you just identify as sonic the hedgehog going a million miles an hour and just bouncing off the walls. And you know what we're going to do? We're going to get you a blue costume and we are going to allow you to fight Dr. Robotnik. How insane would that be? You're not actually treating what's wrong in my head. You're just putting me in a costume to try to make me feel better about it. That's what transgender care, such as it is, is now. People identified as transgender did not always have 41% suicide rates. That did not always happen. Because up until very, very recently, these people who are deeply troubled were actually getting the help that they so desperately need. It was only when Libs decided to politicize this and to decide that something that is just genuinely not healthy. is something to be celebrated that things really went bad. Oh, my goodness, we are way late for a break. Sorry, this is something I feel passionate about. Mental health, something I'm very, very passionate about. We'll be right back on the Dan O'Donnell show. It's conservative thought, not just talk. You know what I'm actually kind of surprised about today? Brewer's opening day, right? I did not get a single question, Dan, how could I watch the Brewers on cable TV today? Did you get any questions, producer Eric? No. No. Maybe it's because the game was such a blowout. I did get my uncle Steve. Loyal listener. Love him dearly. While I was trying to get my website launched, Heartland Post, by the way, HeartlandPost.com, we have got the ultimate conservative voter guide, single biggest voter guide, as many candidates as you could possibly ever want in your local elections. We spent months putting this together, working with. Our great partners at Wiss Red, various county Republican parties, other conservative activists we worked for and with the great Badger Vote website. They put together a great list as well. We worked with everybody and anybody across the state. Check it out. Ultimate Conservative Voter Guide. Use it. Take it with you to the polls. It is a digital interactive map featuring candidates that you need to vote for in the spring election. My uncle texts me. He says, Dan, I don't know how to log on to the MLB app to watch the Brewers. I said, Steve, I really can't help you figure this out. But then it dawned on me. I'm like, uh-oh. If he can't figure it out, a whole lot of people can't figure it out.

Brewers, I think, did yeoman's work telling people in the offseason how exactly they can watch the games this year. But I think it still snuck up on people. I mean, people rightly, forever Fox Sports, Wisconsin just carried the Brewers games. And then it was the fan duel network. Bally's, right, it was Bally's Fanduel. It was just, it was, if you were in the Milwaukee area, it was just Channel 31, whatever it was called this season, you go to Channel 31, it's right there. Well, unfortunately, Fandual Sports Network, Bally's shut down, Fox Sports a few years back, shut down all of their regional carriers. The Brewers were left without a home. Mark Adonacio says the brewers have lost $20 million. by going away from a regional sports network and bringing everything in-house. It's called MLB Advanced Media. Basically what it is is MLB Network handles everything and the brewers are able to sell advertising rights as I understand it. It's just it's a very bad deal and it helps explain the economics of baseball here. There is not one person around the game who believes that baseball will start as scheduled next season. Enjoy opening day if you're at the bars after the game. Game ended, what, almost two hours ago? How many people do you think are still out partying? What percentage that were at the game? I'm going to go like 50%. No, yeah, nobody's tailgating in the rain outside right now, producer Eric says. Yeah, sometimes you will have until the, I have been with you, until the cops come around and say, okay, guys, time to go. We need one of you drunks to actually be able to, we need to make sure one of you is sober enough to drive home. Got to get out of here. Parking lots closed. Enjoy opening day. Just savor, if you are out partying for opening day right now, savor it because it's very likely opening day next year does not happen until July. Everyone in baseball thinks there is going to be a lockout because there is no salary cap. And the owners say, we can't do this. We cannot compete with the Los Angeles Dodgers who have won back-to-back World Series titles and are just able to sign because of their massive TV deal. They own their own network. All right, they don't sign with a regional carrier. They actually own the, I believe it's the Dodgers network. Yankees own the yes network. Not a coincidence that the teams that have dominated the game in recent years.

are the teams with the biggest television revenue streams. Because there is no salary cap, those teams are not just able to sign players like Shohei Otani, by far the best player in baseball. They're able to sign them to massive deals because they're able to extend those deals well into the future. What ostensibly is a 10-year contract actually extends for 30 years. You remember the Bobby Bonilla contract. Everybody laughs every July 1st. Bobby Bonilla gets like a million bucks from the New York Mets. Bobby Bonilla retired 26 years ago. He's still getting paid a million bucks every year by the New York Mets because he smartly took an extended contract. Well, now that's the norm. Bobby Bonilla contracts are the norm for teams that can afford them like the Dodgers. Well, there are very few that can afford them. One of them, ironically enough, is the Mets. And they're still doing it, even though they're still paying Bobby Bonilla a quarter century later. Brewers can't do that. Kansas City Royals can't do that. Tampa Bay Rays can't do that. And the Brewers Dodgers series in the NL, was that NLDS, NLCS, NLCS last year laid that bear. Brewers had the best record in the National League, I believe best record in baseball, and 97 wins. They got smoked by L.A. They got swept, and that series wasn't even close. That laid bear, I think, for a lot of people in the game. Just how unfair a system is, lest you say, well, the Toronto Blue Jays almost, they came within a toenail in that play at the plate of winning the World Series. Yeah, the Blue Jays had like the fifth highest payroll in baseball. They're also a massive spending team. And when only five or six teams really have a chance, there is no health to that league. That's acceptable in like European soccer. English Premier League, there's maybe six or seven clubs that can win the league. In the French league, it's even worse. It's Paris, Saint-Germain, maybe Nice, maybe Leone, and that's it. Nobody else can even compete. Spanish League, it's either Madrid or Barcelona. Everybody else, tough. In fact, I don't think anybody has won the Spanish League other than Real Madrid or FC Barcelona in probably 20 years. I'm sure someone who knows La Liga way better than me would be able to chime in. But that's where baseball is heading. And the owners are fully prepared to lock out the players to ensure that something changes and the game becomes more competitive. I don't mean to be a doom and gloomer on opening day, but I'm just saying this is the reality and this is going to be the dominant story throughout this baseball season, whether or not there will even be a 2027 season.
