It took me six to get worded, but I did get connections on the first try. That's unlike me. We've got whackamo going on with... Supreme leaders, and what did we arrive at? We think the son of the former supreme leader might be the next in charge. We'll keep an eye on that. The U.S. military says operations in Iran are going ahead of schedule. The president had alluded to at least a four-week campaign with more intense days ahead. We don't know if that means three weeks and a week ahead of schedule or more. Four of the U.S. service members have been identified.

And they were, what did I do with that now? Their names are worth mentioning. Captain Cody Cork, 35 of Florida, Sergeant First Class Noah Teigen's, 42 of Nebraska, Sergeant First Class Nicole Armour, 39 of Minnesota, and Sergeant Declan Cody, 20 of Iowa. There are two others yet to be identified. A grateful nation is forever in their debt. And I beg you to pray for their families at this time of great loss. The U.S. Navy, this could be one of the things that... They were promising they were going to do to help with gas prices, which I guess are up another nine cents today, which brings it to 20 cents in two days. But U.S. Navy will begin to escort oil tankers due to the rising cost of gasoline. And the primaries for the midterm began yesterday in North Carolina, in Texas. We do have some Arkansas. We do have some breaking news and some spoiler alerts. Al Green's fate has not been determined. Dan Crenshaw surprisingly has, and Jasmine Crockett goes off into the books of history. Roy O'Neill, our national correspondent, with the latest on these contested primaries. Good morning, Roy. Hey there, Michael. Wordle in four, by the way. But I couldn't get it. I don't know what I did. I got an X yesterday. First in like 150 or whatever. So yesterday was a nightmare. I got it in six. You guys are nerds. You know what, can I just, before we do this- Can I tell you a real secret story? Can I tell you a super secret story? Sure. I slipped the wordal answer into a two-way I do with a certain host. I was just going to say that. Yeah, I was just going to say that. We started, and we did that a couple of times on. Yeah, we started on April Fool's Day. Yeah, we started doing it as well. And I don't know if anybody caught it. But my wife, my son, and I. I'm going to tell them. I'm going to come out and tell him April Fool's Day that I've been doing this. You are going to tell him? Yep. Let's do it another year. I love the idea that you're slipping it in. In fact, you may be slipping it in now. Well, I think the big story was difficult yesterday. Jasmine Crockett just didn't sell statewide. I mean, if she couldn't come within 7% in a primary statewide, it would have been even uglier in a general, but she's gone. And with huge Democratic turnout, especially in the early voting time. So James Talarico pretty much cruises. to victory there. I know they're going to say that, oh, they close the polls in Dallas County or they mixed things up. But still, the numbers are on James Talarico side here. It'll be fascinating to see what happens in the next 12 weeks in this battle between John Cornyn trying to save his seat and his, the Attorney General, Ken Paxton, neither of them got over 50%. So now we're going to be into a very expensive runoff. The Democrats are drooling over this one, hoping that Ken Paxton wins.

thinking that James Talarico will have a better chance against him in November. And then we got Al Green, last scene protesting during the State of the Union. He ends up in a runoff. His future is questionable. Most people know him as this, but veteran with the patch over his eye, Dan Crenshaw, gone in his primary. So there were some significant outcomes yesterday. And it shows the strength of President Trump and the MAGA movement, right? These are essentially people that, you know, when President Trump threatens, I'll primary you. Yeah, there are consequences. And now we're seeing it play out. Well, for Grenshaw, I mean, that is why he's gone. I think for, you know, Jasmine Crockett, she's trying to blame Republicans cheating her and that's what Republicans do. I don't know. I would think, what's his name, the late night host that's getting fired? Stephen Colbert. Stephen Colbert did more to hurt her than any Republican Party. He kept having the opponent on. And that got such high publicity. It wasn't allowed to air and then it all went viral and then the view had a month. Yeah. So, no, he's gotten a lot of this national media attention as well and probably would be a better general election candidate in November. We'll see. Well, you're good at Wordle and you're good at this too. But it's very early and these are just a handful. There are some obvious themes that have replayed, you know. You don't do well in a primary bucking Donald Trump. Maga is stronger than the establishment Republican Party right now. That's obvious. Jasmine Crockett and other things, and has the left gone too far, way too early to tell. But a very interesting night. Chip Roy, not doing so well either, distant second in that run for the Attorney General of Texas. Roy's going to be back in the third hour. We're going to talk about the latest going on with Iran in the Middle East and see if we can. I think we're getting some sense of what it means to try to protect and offset the rising. gas prices with the uncertainties, and one of those are military escorts. I think our reserve is going to be one of those, perhaps even some of the oil acquired from Venezuela, but don't forget the commitment of OPEC to keep flow and production high during this temporary time of uncertainty. But these military escorts are a big piece of that pie as well. Roy will have more on that. And then we just don't know what the president and what the Pentagon means when it says we're ahead of schedule. We know the president alluded to four weeks initially. With some of the heavier campaigning still to come, the indication that this is not a shock and awe. This is strategic. This is surgical. And the mission will be over when the threat is over. But now we're getting word. It might be ahead of a schedule. We don't know if that means a week.

Two weeks, what? So we're keeping an eye on that as well. We brought up the Israeli intelligence already as we're getting a better sense of how long they had worked at this and how this played out. One of the stories coming from the New York Post is they spent years hacking all the cameras in Tehran. And that gave them the ability to track. over a long period of time, not just the Ayatollah and some of the leaders of the Revolutionary Guard or the military or the hierarchy of government, but they're bodyguards, their drivers. They were able to map patterns and scheduling. So you don't kill that many people in a split second, you know, multi. targeted strike if you don't know exactly where everybody is going to be. So we weren't waiting for the end of the Olympics. We weren't waiting for the state of the union. We were just waiting for them to all be in the same room. And that's how we knew when they would be in the same room. Then we have this whole other developing story, which is who will be, and I just, you know, who the Mullah's pick?

to be their next supreme leader really doesn't matter to me. There is no such thing as jihad light. So as long as Iran is a Islamic republic, a theocracy under the strictest of Sharia law and Shia fundamental jihadism, with its own revolutionary guard and its country and military, it's a threat. So it really doesn't matter. I mean, I hope the president doesn't think, oh, gee, we had a really great Ayatollah to take over, but he got killed. No, you need the Mullahs and theocracy gone. As I say, there's no such thing as Jihad Light. Now, it did become. like whack-a-mole problematic and that everybody that they had their eye on is now dead. The president was point-blank asked that question in the White House, and the answer was quite startling. Do you have someone in mind right now? Because you've said all the people you did have in mind have been taken out. Well, most of the people we had in mind are dead. So, you know, we had some in mind from that group that is dead. And now we have another group. They may be dead also. Now, I don't know that the president's talking about candidates like the Mullahs were considering as much as political figures in Iran. Now, that could be reasonable. I think, and I don't know, and I can't confirm, but from everything I have read and everything I would guess, they were thinking the Iranian president who was also considered. to be next in line as an Ayatollah. I don't know if that's one of the dead he's talking about. Any kind of supreme religious leader is still a problem because it's this religion that is determined to destroy Israel, destroy America, kill every Jew, kill every Christian, dominate the world, bring about the judgment of mankind. So there really is no... No reason to follow who the next successor is. Although every indication is, it's going to be the Ayatollah son. That that's who they chose. Where we go from here, only time will tell. And what that timing is, we don't know what it is, but apparently it's ahead of its four-week schedule. Well, as Operation Epic Fury intensifies, the world braces for whatever's next. We pray. We support or we hope. And Israel, it's not a political position. It's not a social media opinion. It's real life every day in the Holy Land. Red alert sirens, fill the air. You've got minutes to get to a shelter. And when the bombing finishes, there are real needs, real destruction. But the IDF was 10 steps ahead. with a hack so divine, they followed the line of the mullahs right up to their bed. That pretty much is how it went. 25 minutes after the hour for just getting up. The U.S. military says the operations in Iran are going ahead of schedule. Mark Mayfield has more. Sentcom commander Admiral Brad Cooper spoke late Tuesday. And my overall operational assessment is that we are ahead of our game plan. Cooper also said the U.S. has severely degraded Iran's air defenses and destroyed hundreds of ballistic missiles, launchers, and drones. He said what the U.S. unleashed in the first 24 hours doubled that of shock and awe during the war in Iraq. Cooper added that the U.S. is sinking Iran's Navy. taking out 17 ships and its only submarine. He said Iran has launched over 500 missiles and 2,000 drones in retaliation. I'm Mark Mayfield. Well, the timing for the strikes weren't coincidentally perfect. Their great intelligence was perfect. But it didn't make for good timing to be on a cruise ship in these golf ports. More from Jim Roo. At least six large cruise ships are currently docked in the ports of Dubai and Doha Cutter, unable to move because Iran has blocked passage through the Strait of Hormuz. At the same time, regional airspace has been closed or severely restricted, making it impossible for passengers to simply fly home. There is currently no firm timeline for when ships will be cleared to move or when normal flight operations will resume. I'm Jim Rup. Well, we've certainly taken to AI. but they'll provide their own electricity for artificial intelligence data centers. Tammy Trujillo has that story. An effort to ease concerns over the effect of massive power consumption on the electricity bills of regular customers. In his state of the union speech last week, Trump said the companies could build their own power plants. I'm Tammy Trujillo. Justice Timberlake is suing to try to block the release of body cam video from his... WI arrest in Long Island. The singer has taken legal action against the village of Sag Harbor and its police department arguing the release under a public records request would result in the permanent loss of his privacy. Timberlake's lawyers also argue the footage includes personal details that don't concern the public and are unrelated to his arrest. The Grammy Award winner pleaded guilty to a traffic violation in 2024 and agreed to pay a fine as well as complete community service. Timberlake's license was also suspended for 90 days. Hey, good morning, Michael. Yes, the president putting that out on social media, that that is a possibility. The concern, of course, is the closure of the Strait of Formuz. 20% of the world's oil supply goes through that waterway, and it is extremely important. And right now, there is no oil that is going through the Strait of Formos, and that's the reason why we've seen this uptick. not only in the price of oil, wholesale, but also the price of gas, retail. And that obviously hurts people in the pocketbook. And that's the reason why the president responding in terms of a possibility of what may occur in the course of the next few days or the next few weeks. Yeah, one of the things I was kind of interested to see how it play out. You know, 75, 80% of China's energy comes through this as well. You would think they would come to the table. It's early. You know, we're only days into this, but sooner or later, that straight of our moves has to be open and that oil needs to be flowing. And that's kind of what's being talked about. What do you think the Pentagon means when it says the operation's running ahead of schedule? I don't know what a schedule is. You know, victory is victory or till the operation is complete. I don't know if that means eventually, you know, what you have to do to ensure all the centrifuges have been taken out. beyond air strikes. But the president alluded to maybe four weeks. So are we a week ahead of schedule? Does anybody really know what that means? Well, I think what we're talking about here is the U.S. has objectives and whether or not we've achieved each of those four objectives, whether you can tick them off the box, really depends upon, you know, if you're a policymaker, if you're the president. He says that the Iranian Navy has already been destroyed. So that's... One box you can check. The other thing that you have to factor in is first and foremost, the U.S. has been focused on the air defenses that Iran has. And once you get rid of those defense mechanisms, then you can go and you control the airspace. You can do what you want if you're the U.S. or in fact, our partner in this, Israel, to drop whatever you need to drop, wherever you need to drop it over Iranian airspace. John Decker joining us from the White House. Listen, this is an amazing team. When the U.S. and Israel unite, you've got the best human intelligence on planet Earth. And Israel's mighty in its own, but you have the ultimate military power and might in the U.S. And that's what we learned. The way they had hacked all these cameras, developed all these patterns. I mean, I thought getting everybody's pagers to blow up was, you know, the greatest James Bond. I'm with you. But this, they knew where everybody, and they waited patiently with battleships and tomahawks and planes, different continents away. And the minute they're all in the same room, and now we find out, it was years in the making and years of hacking every camera in Tehran. I'm just, I'm always in awe of Israel's commitment to intelligence and accuracy.

Well, it's playing the long game. And not every country can do that. You know, Israel has done that. You mentioned the pagers. That's playing the long game. And it works out. Ultimately, when you decide today's the day, when you get the green light, all of that hard work, all of that patience pays off. And that's exactly what happened, you know, with that long game and taking out the Ayatollah, the supreme leader of Iran. Hats off to them for that incredible intelligence. And hats off, of course, to our military, the best military in the world. All right. So it's kind of whack-a-mole a little bit. And it looks as though it's going to be the son of the Ayatollah that the Mullahs are going to choose to be the next it. We don't know how long he live. Right. And as long as it's an Islamic Republic of Iran and a theocracy and a radical one with the goal of the destruction of Israel and America. Does it really matter? I mean, I think a non-Iatollah regime changes what's needed. But yeah, they just keep dying, don't they? But has there been any reaction? Well, I guess we'll get reaction today from the White House if in fact it's the Ayatollah's son. Well, we didn't get reaction to that because, you know, the successor wasn't chosen up until the successor is chosen. It's a three-person council running Iran, including Iran's president. But we heard from the president yesterday in the Oval Office, Michael, and the president indicated they had individuals that they thought could take over. But the president indicated they've been killed. They're dead. So this is what, you know, the option that's left. in terms of who fills that vacuum, whether or not the U.S. is satisfied with that. We'll have to wait and see a reaction coming from the president today. He will take questions from the press corps. There's one event on his schedule in which the press pool will be brought in, and I'm sure I'll take questions about the latest concerning the war in Iran. I mean, the president's not.

Cracking wise, as Jeffrey would say. He's being honest. First of all, I don't play this game because there's no such thing as Jihad Light, so whoever it is is still a part of the problem. But if, in fact, you start, you know, splitting hairs and trying to find one, it really is a problem. They're all dead. They were all in that room. Remember what we said from the very beginning? The Supreme Ayatollah was 86 years old. He could have died of natural causes any day. Of course they had a succession plan. The fact that they're having struggles in arriving at their next successor can only be one of two things. Everybody in their line of succession was killed. And they're so concerned whoever might be next will get killed, they don't want anybody to know who it is. But if you want regime change. And part of that is the decapitation of the head of the snake. And while you were decapitating it, you also had the leaders you had in mind for that regime change. They're killed as well. That's a problem. Well, there is no Winston Churchill in England today. In fact, the Winston Churchill in this, we talked great length, shameless plug for the podcast if you weren't listening yesterday. I watched the Churchill documentary, and I came to the conclusion. Donald Trump is Churchill. But there isn't one in Great Britain, and the president isn't happy. And I'm not, by the way, I'm not happy with the UK either. That island that you read about the lease, okay, he made it for whatever reason. He made a lease of the island. Somebody came and took it away from him, and it's taken. three, four days for us to work out where we can land there. It would have been much more convenient landing there as opposed to flying many extra hours. So we are very surprised. This is not Winston Churchill that we're dealing with. Isn't that interesting? Yesterday morning, I'm sure I'm the one in all of talk radio that was discussing Winston Churchill, but it was so applicable.

Winston Churchill was considered a narcissist, self-focused, anything to get attention. Wasn't going to stop until he led the government. Couldn't win, thought they were rid of him forever, and he comes back. Any of this sound familiar? The only difference is between Winston Churchill and Donald Trump is Churchill liked to smoke and he loved to drink. Donald Trump never smokes and never drinks. Both never sleep. Both will outthink you, outwork you, and will do anything, say anything to achieve set goal. America at that time, watching Hitler, knowing his ambitions to dominate the world. Like Great Britain, they watch him take Poland, watch him take the Soviet Union, watch him take North Africa, watch him take France, see him at the door of Great Britain. For Churchill, well, I don't know if America's coming or not, but we're going to fight. If we've got to break beer bottles, we're going to fight in the streets and on the beaches.

FDR wanted to help. The American people were done. We're done with wars. We lived that hell in World War I. You got yourself in trouble again. You're on your own. What's America saying? We're done with endless wars. This is Israel's problem, not America's problem. If the Japanese hadn't bombed Pearl Harbor, as awful as that was, I suspect the U.S. would not have come to the rescue in time. And Germany would have been at our door. And we'd have been fighting for our life with no help. And here we sit today. And the enemy is saying, first comes Saturday, then comes Sunday. Israel has no right to exist. Death to America. And I would encourage everyone that's watching this to just read through what the word power resolution from 1973 requires. It says that you have to, the president has to provide 48 hours of notification of what's happened. And I've actually read through the. the letter from the president to the president pro tem and that that made that standard right now and then you have 60 days up to another 30 extra days to 90 before then that would force us to withdraw those troops and then after that's why it requires then to get permission from congress but neither one has been met And the other one hasn't even activated. Isn't it nice to see somebody not make political theater of this? By the way, when the Democrats were doing it in Libya, here's Nancy Pelosi. Leader, you're saying that the president did not need authorization initially and still does not need any authorization from Congress, one, Libya? Yes. Thank you both. Thank you all very much. Yes.

Democrats are trying to set up a vote to halt President Trump from using further military action against Iran without congressional approval. Johnson said he believes Republicans have the votes to defeat such an effort. He also insisted Trump has followed the law in the ongoing conflict with Iran.
