Starting your morning off right. A new way of talk. A new way of understanding. Because we're in this together. This is your morning show with Michael Del Turner. Ah yes, too often we enjoy the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought. We're going to try to address a lot of that this hour. Stick around tomorrow on your morning show, Robert Cool Bell. How do you get the... Nicknamed Cool. When you're cooling the gang, we'll see what Robert's up to. And thank him for being such a key role in the soundtrack of our life. That's coming up tomorrow. Later this hour, John Decker from the White House, we'll talk a little bit about the Virginia referendum and even more in the third hour with David Sinati, our senior contributor. But voters in Virginia have approved a redistricting referendum that would allow Democrats to redraw the state congressional map. Just got... A lot of your talkbacks that we're going to get to in a minute. But I love this. Simply stated, Michael, this is from Rick writing an email to Michael D at iHeartMedia.com. Simply stated, this is what happens when a representative republic descends into direct democracy, which always ends in mob rule. Perfectly stated. Meanwhile, the ceasefire with Iran is scheduled to end at 8 o'clock Eastern. Tonight. Then what? National correspondent, Rory O'Neill is here with the very latest. Good morning, Rory. Well, Michael, good morning. Of course, President Trump extended that ceasefire indefinitely, but there are plenty of other developments happening specifically in the Strait of Hormuz, with the Iranian National Guard saying they have seized two ships this morning that were crossing the Strait of Hormuz. Now, no confirmation of yet independently here, but the IRGC put out that release. to Iranian media. They also say they have a third vessel, a Greek-owned ship that was targeted by the IRGC that is now disabled off Iran's coast. UK maritime authorities say two other ships have also come under fire there. So a lot is developing on the straits. Well, we probably pay too much attention to the shipping traffic, not enough attention to what's going on with Iran's nuclear programs. Right. Number one, 27 ships since the blockade were turned away without any incident. Didn't need to have flares fired, didn't need to have its rudders taken out, didn't need to be boarded, just turned on their own. We don't know how many hundreds didn't bother to press their luck. Then you had one that had to be, you know. disabled and boarded. All right, one you can get away with. I guess my question for you is now, with these incidents, are we going to start hearing from insurance companies again? I mean, you don't even, you don't get many chances to set the perception that the straight is secure and open for shipping.

5:33

All right, and the owners of these vessels. You don't necessarily have to go just to the insurers, but the owners as well might be more reluctant. I know some cruise ships that have been sort of stuck there, they were able to make a run for it a couple days ago. finally get out of that being cornered there, essentially, with the waterway mostly shut down. But yeah, a lot of this is still a bit of a moving target. And we're seeing multiple reports that the administration, the Trump administration, is a bit frustrated because they've been getting silence from Iran as they try to. advance these negotiations, try to get to a peaceful resolution. And that may be a sign that there's an awful lot of disarray. You know, who's running the show? Is it, is the Ayatollah healthy enough to be taking part in all this? Is the military running the show? Is it the Speaker of Parliament all up in the air? Yeah, I think, you know, whether you agree with and support what the president has done, I do by and large. or not support. One thing's true, he's always been a man of his word. And so when he says he's going to strike, he strikes. When he says there's going to be consequence, there's consequence. Now he's given him more time. I don't think it necessarily falls under discredit. I think he sees these divisions and how they play out. And if nothing plays out, they're losing an awful lot of money to some degree. What is it? $500 million a day or something to that effect? I mean, that's pretty unsustainable. So I think the president sees a window where they can kind of dissolve amongst themselves. But I don't know how much of a grace period he's going to give for that to happen. And you wonder if there might be some targeted strikes at least concerning securing the straight. That could happen after eight, but let's go through the scenario of what we can expect after eight tonight. Well, yeah, so that ceasefire has been extended. So that deadline's gone. So now we are in unlimited. He extended the ceasefire with no expiration date. So we don't have to worry about tonight as much. But I think the other concern is this U.S. Navy blockade, you know, 80 to 90 percent of all of the commerce of Iran goes through their ports. And as long as no ships are coming or going. This is going to start to be a real, and it's been over a week now, this is going to start to be a hardship for the Iranian people, not just the leadership. Right, and the hope is they might want change, and then you get the ultimate regime change. All right, we'll keep an eye on this. Roy's going to be back in the third hour. We're going to talk about the Department of Transportation. They're rolling out plans to upgrade the air traffic control system. Where was this latest incident, Red, or Jeffrey? Nashville. No, ours was now. We had another one. I saw that on... Yeah, I can remember where one, but that's two in... The one in Nashville, I think, was Saturday. And then we had another one yesterday. So much need to talk to Rory about what the Department of Transportation plans to do to secure air traffic. We've had a couple of near collisions in the last 72 hours. All right, can't have your morning show without your voice. This is what I've been anxious to get to. Let's start in Philadelphia with Donna.

8:43

Good morning from Philadelphia. Speaking of poor journalism, Senator Chris Murphy decided to believe a rumor that 20 plus ships slipped past our Navy in the Straits of Hormuz yesterday. He decided it was a good idea to cheer for Iran. This is our leadership cheering to the enemy. Yeah, and of course, you know what he faces now. Chris Murphy's facing nationwide calls to resign for cheering for Iran. I could play talk radio games with you. Can you imagine during World War II someone was rooting for Nazi Germany, how that would have played, or whether or not that would have led to treason charges? It goes back to last hour we featured Tucker Carlson's formal apology for Donald Trump, though he never gives reasons. Somewhere along the line, you just have to make some assumptions. Okay, this is how you make money nowadays. You've got to have a clear lane. So if you're Candace Owens, you've got to be conspiracy theory and just every day obsessed on the assassination of Charlie Kirk. And whatever the crazy latest conspiracy theory is. And for Tucker Carlson, his obsession apparently is Israel and Zionist Christians. And if that causes him to hate Israel or hate Trump or hate America or root for Iran, so be it so he gets his clicks. I don't know. But I can tell you, when I went in, I can't remember, I think it was, oh, it was Bill Warner's wife. Bill Warner was somebody I used to have on all the time. I was trying to educate people on Muhammad and Islam and Sharia law. And so we would actually do, you know, what we called. WTN University. And his wife turned him on to this, reading comments. Never mind the story. Read the comments. At that time, I was kind of fascinated how stories didn't match headlines. But then Bill, through his wife, showed me how comments don't match the posts. So if we all make the assumption, well, this is what Candace is doing. This is what Tucker Carlson's doing. This is what Megyn Kelly's doing. Because they're in a, they're in a battle of clicks. This is how we went from news cycle to outrage moments. It's a different game. That doesn't have any more credibility than the media, which has lost its credibility in our Rasmussen report today. But when you open up the comments, that's where it gets really interesting. I mean, Tucker Carlson's video is one thing. But if the theory is he's trying to open a niche, is he? Hey, just because you don't know what the plan is doesn't mean there's not a plan. Tucker Carlson thinks he influenced people's voting? I voted this way because Tucker Carlson told me. Ha ha ha ha. Personally, myself, I blame everything on Tucker Carlson. I mean, it just goes on and out. There's no serious question. Who specifically do you want as president? Please name names. Because the temptation is that one plus one plus one plus one does not equal four. It's 500. We lost. Despair. Everybody run for the hills. But it's an illusion. It's a game of perception. It's not reality.

12:30

Ted Cruz was on yesterday, which by the way, who didn't enjoy that interview? I loved it. That was really good. It was good. Yeah. Definitely going to be the spotlight. I didn't even talk to Cool Bell yet, but I think he's going to be, Ted Cruz will probably make spotlight interview at the week. You know the illusion that you turn on Fox if you're right or you turn on CNN if you're left and it looks so bigger than life. And your assumption is everyone's watching because you are, but they're not. CNN's audience size in demo is about the size of my afternoon show in Tulsa, Oklahoma in the 90s, and that was the 64th market in the country. There's not that many people watching. And it's all a money game. I look at these networks in awe, and I'm wondering, how are they paying all these people? There's nobody watching. Oh, this one's being propped up by Big Pharma and right activist groups, that one by Big Pharma and leftist groups. But nobody's selling diapers. The audience doesn't match what they think in their hubris is their influence. These comments don't match the hubris of what Tucker Carlson said. As Ted Cruz said, nobody's buying these people. America's days aren't numbered because of what Tucker Carlson's saying. Tucker Carlson's days are numbered because of what Tucker Carlson is saying. Does all this make sense to anybody but mean? In the name of Bill Warner's wife, start reading the comments. America always gets things better than we think. Great call, though, Donna. And tough days ahead for Chris Murphy. I don't know. I mean, the old military expression is the enemy of my enemy is my friend. So if your enemy is Israel, well, then the enemy of your enemy is your friend. Iran, I guess, is who Tucker Carlson is so obsessed with Israel that he will apologize for Trump and root for Iran. And so will Senator Chris Murphy. But it's all crazy. But it's only marking their days. Not ours. Big Johns in Poughkeepsie, New York. So glad you brought up Earth Day. Does anybody out there know why the glacier had a temper tantrum? He lost his cool. And let's not forget the best part of an Earth Day cake is the ozone layer. To Biloxi, Mississippi, we go. Hey, Mikey, I don't think you need to apologize for trusting Tucker Carlson because I trusted Mike Pence until I didn't. And I'm not apologizing for that. Bye. Low New Mississippi. And Roger and Sacramento gets the final say. Boy, Michael. Hey, even before the vote yesterday in Virginia, I was thinking that maybe this is a good use for AI to draw districts. And the criteria is you can only have so many right angles in between districts. And this would get rid of these odd shapes that we see with the tentacles that reach back across. And as far as states doing dumb things, if we could get the federal government shrunk back to its real purpose.

15:54

then these things don't affect us in other states. And that includes me in California. Let us hit the wall. Appreciate the calls. We are so better collectively. We're so much greater than the sum of our parts. Finally, a radio show that's a conversation again and belongs to you, the listener. And it's not a shtick. It's a wonderful thing to be a part of. I used to think of a mattress kind of like a piece of furniture and, you know, you get a new one. Boy, did this piece of furniture get expensive? To get a quality mattress today, you've got to save up 10 grand. And then something with the roof or the porch happens and just always seems to get kicked aside. And yet sleep is so important. And we're all waking up stiff or tossing or turning or sleeping hot. Taking pills before bed. Thinking it's aging when it's really a bad mattress and you don't need 10 grand. I discovered ghostbed. This is a family that made mattresses for 100 years and the only person in the entire family tree that wasn't in the mattress business, he was an engineer, created ghost bed. Because it's an engineered sleep system, a serious piece of health equipment because serious business happens when you're asleep. Relief, healing, recovery. Your mattress is key to that. It's the best mattress I ever slept on. And I paid 20% of what a lot of these other mattresses are calling. And our technology is second to none. You can start by taking a quiz at ghostbed.com to find the right ghostbed for you. And if yours is different than your spouses, there's a way to do that. But we're so confident you're going to love your ghost bed as much as I love mine. We'll let you sleep on it 101 nights. And if you don't agree, send it back. That's a lot of confidence because they're that good and they're that affordable. And they're giving you the lowest price of the year plus an extra 10% off just for being a your morning show listener. Go to ghostbed.com forward slash Michael. Use the promo code Michael. President Trump is extending the ceasefire with Iran, although Iran has attacked some ships in the strait. Virginia voters have approved a redistricting referendum in Virginia. And the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Dave Mason has died at the age of 79. We'll have more with your top five stories of the day. We'll check in at the White House with John Decker on the results from the Virginia vote. And we have your sounds of the day all coming your way next half hour. First things first, your voice. We're going to Virginia itself. Good morning. This is Bob from Virginia. Nobody's talking about the legality of this vote. Our Constitution here in Virginia says once every 10 years. This was not legal in the first place. Problem is we couldn't get a jury out here to vote in our favor, unfortunately. Have a blessed day, everybody. Yeah, well, I do think this is headed to the state Supreme Court.

Youngstown, Ohio is next. Hey, Michael, you notice all the commercials on TV nowadays are unbearable. It's all online gaming, Medicare insurance companies, auto insurance companies. I miss the good old days frosted flakes. They're great. They're great. I want to be the new Tony the type. They're great. You need to get an agent so you can get in on that. I guess so. Hi, it's me, Michael. Your morning show can be heard on great stations across the country, like Talk Radio 1190 and Dallas, Fort Worth, Freedom 104.7 in Washington, D.C., and 550, KFYI and Phoenix, Arizona. We'd love to be a part of your morning routine, or take us along on the drive to work. But as we always say, better late than never. Enjoy the podcast. If you're just waking up, President Trump says he is extending the ceasefire with Iran, as we learned from our national correspondent, Rory O'Neill. There really is no timetable. for how long that will be, or how short that will be. We did have some activity with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard attacking three ships in the strait. That could create disruption or lack of confidence in the security of the strait. That could make an airstrike probably pretty likely. Virginia voters have approved a redistricting referendum that would allow Democrats to redraw the state's congressional maps. This could have an impact on the midterm elections if it stands. But then again, the Republicans could even the score by doing the same in Florida. We're, you know, constitutionally we do, based on the census, we redraw districts and values of the electoral college map every 10 years. Why? Because the ultimate last right of a voter is the right to vote with their feet. So we're seeing a mass migration, an exodus from New York. Illinois and Chicago, and California, and they're going to specific states. So every state has two senators, but every state doesn't have the same amount of representatives in the House. Why? That's where the populace is represented. And so as the populations changes or shifts, you have to adjust these districts. Gerrymandering is something completely different, where one of the two parties draws the lines in such a way that they win every election. Now we do it openly and celebrate it and pass it as a referendum. What do you end up with? The rule of Fairfax. One county rules the whole state. Now, I don't remember what the number was read. In Massachusetts, for example, 45% of the state is Republican or 40% is Republican. There are zero Republican representatives.

24:05

So many different angles we could choose to talk about. In the name of saving the democracy, we're destroying it. There's zero in all of New England. Yeah, zero in all of New England. Not just Massachusetts. All right. So here we go with this. Ultimately, this could and should, I would guess, maybe go to the Virginia Supreme Court. But we'll... will know in time. Right now the results are in. And no matter how many Republicans there are in the state, a 51 to 49 vote means these lines will be redrawn. And I think it becomes next to impossible for a Republican to now get elected with the tentacles flowing from the very county that gave him the win last night. John Decker's here with the very latest on the impact. This will have on the midterms. Good morning, John. Good morning, Michael. How are you? I'm good. I would imagine the White House isn't going to be pleased with this referendum vote. You're a Supreme Court bar attorney understanding this particular referendum vote and what still lies ahead. Is this headed to the state Supreme Court? It's headed to the state Supreme Court. It could be headed to the U.S. Supreme Court. We've seen a number of these types of cases involving redistricting head up to the Supreme Court. And, you know, the Supreme Court has ruled different ways regarding the process as it relates to various states. Various states have had their redistricting plans challenged. And we know. that this is going to impact the midterm elections. The way this vote has turned out, it will guarantee, unless it is overturned by the Virginia Supreme Court, it would ultimately lead to a net four-seat gain for Democrats in the House of Representatives. That means a lot when you factor in the very narrow majority that now exists that Republicans currently have. So if purple states want to be blue, they gerrymandered. Only when the other person does it. I mean, all these different storylines. The bottom line is the Republicans will retaliate in Florida and probably net that out by gaining seats in Florida. But it's still wrong, no matter who's doing it. Well, you're right. I mean, it's tip for tat. And we saw this first start with Texas, followed by California. And now it's happening in other states around the country. And, you know, it's pretty remarkable that this is potentially going to decide these plans, these redistricting plans, currently going to decide who controls the House after the midterm elections. It's already a big headwind that Republicans are facing. The party in power typically loses seats. And that's the way the president, that's the reason why the president urged. the state legislature in texas to take up this issue you don't become a supreme court bar attorney without studying the constitution and understanding it at a high level so i

27:04

Obviously, I respect your opinion every day. But in the state of this conversation, I would say it this way. When you understand the brilliance of our founding fathers and why these things are all set up the way they are. And then when they're abused like this, I don't know. It just stings. It seems more. We look at, I mean, I would just say, watching this vote last night, now I know why the founding fathers created the electoral college. Now we're going to need state electoral colleges. Otherwise, you're not going to have any representation for people. Just like the national map will be all red with some specs of blue and it's a close race or a win with the specs. That's what state maps are going to look like if somebody doesn't reel this in. Well, we shall see. As you point out, this is facing legal challenges, and we shall see if it survives those legal challenges. But, you know, we saw a ton of money. I think it was over 50 or 60 million spent on this one referendum in Virginia. That's what was at stake for both Republicans and Democrats that's combining the amount spent by both political parties. And we're going to see a significant amount of money also being spent. in the state of Florida should they follow suit and do what Virginia did yesterday. Yeah, some George Soros money, about $5 million came in, and some are giving it credit for putting it over the hump. Listen, you know, when you look at that vote and how close it was, and it didn't tip until they started adding Fairfax County, which is how everything will tip here if this holds. You do see Republicans gaining ground over what... Kamala Harris had. And I can't think of anything more unimpressive than Kamala Harris. So the voters are watching. They could win the battle and lose the war in the long run. Speaking of war, what's the president doing? And how long will this ceasefire extension last now that they've attacked ships in the street? I'm sure that'll be all the questions today. Yeah, very good question. What are you eating, by the way? I've got to say it because it sounds delicious. You know, you and I need to get together and have breakfast morning. It's just. Does strawberries. Oh, really? But wait until you're on 200 stations to chew. Yeah, you know, that way you're nice and clean for the little market. No, you raise a really good point. No, you raise a really good point. And I apologize to you. No, don't. I love you. You can do whatever you want. Do not belch. I will not accept belching. I will not do that. I'm respectful. Look, there's an indefinite ceasefire that was put in place by the president yesterday. He did that with social media. And this action that you just described by Iran yesterday puts in doubt whether that indefinite ceasefire can last. And as you know, there's a significant amount of military presence that has been brought into the region just over the last week. An additional 10,000 troops, which augments the 50,000 troops that were already there. So the U.S. is ready once that ceasefire ends to recommence those military operations against Iran. Yeah, I mean, we've had very successful blockade. 27 ships turned away on their own. Hundreds of more didn't even try. We had one that we actually had to fire on and board. And now these attacks, you can't let days of this go. The insurance companies will start having a say, owners will start having a say, and they'll shut down.

30:27

Yeah, no, the whole idea here is to deny all that oil revenue to Iran, to force them to capitulate. And I think it is having an impact. There's no doubt about it, you know, and we'll see where things go. It's really, I think the best way to describe it, Michael, it's a really high-stakes game of chicken. And we'll see who blinks first. Probably the one losing $500 million a day, I suspect, but we'll see. By the way, he never eats during his podcast. Only during our show. I never do. The White House briefing room with John Decker. I love John. I listen every day. You should too. You'll find the podcast, the White House briefing room with John Decker on your iHeart radio app. When you do program it, that way it's waiting for you every day. God bless you, thank you. We'll talk tomorrow. All right, if you're just waking up. Here are the five things you need to know your top five stories of the day. Well, voters in Virginia have approved a redistricting referendum thanks to the pouring in of overwhelming cited votes from Fairfax County to rule the state. Mark Mayfield has more. The measure which could give Democrats a 10 to 1 advantage in the upcoming midterms has narrowly passed. Democrats say it's necessary because Republicans are doing the same in states like Texas, but Republicans say this is different because Democrats are amending Virginia's Constitution. The group behind their effort outspent the opposition $64 million to $19 million. I'm Mark Mayfield. Money Talks. The Department of Justice is accusing the Southern Poverty Law Center of funneling money to the leaders. of hate groups. In a fraud indictment, the DOJ alleges the organization paid millions to people associated with the Ku Klux Klan, the National Socialist Party of America, an Aryan Nations affiliated motorcycle club and other extremist groups. They're required to, under the laws associated with a nonprofit, to have certain transparency and honesty and what they're telling donors they're going to spend money on and what their mission statement is and what they're raising money doing. Acting U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche claimed during a press conference at the SPLC wasn't working to dismantle the groups, but was instead manufacturing the extremism it purports to oppose by paying sources to stoke racial hatred. I'm Tammy Trujillo. Hands. Meat cookie jar. Stock. A COVID variant is causing concerns in California. It's called the cicada variant because it lies dormant, then awakens. This very mutated version could certainly make its wrongs to when we are both immunologically more vulnerable. And we get together during the summer. Dr. Peter Chin Hong is an infectious disease specialist with UCSF. He says the variant has been detected in California, but not in high levels, though he fears that could change. And he's especially worried about those who are over 65, as he says more than 70% of that population hasn't been recently vaccinated.

I'm Jason Ethanson. Harvey Weinstein's rape retrial in New York City has begun with very conflicting opening statements. Sarely Kessler reports. A Manhattan prosecutor told the jury the former movie mogul used his power to prey on vulnerable women. The defense opened by attacking his accuser's credibility, saying Weinstein had an on-off consensual relationship with Jessica Mann. She claims Weinstein raped her in 2013 in a Manhattan hotel room. He's pleaded not guilty. was convicted in 2020, but that verdict was overturned. His second trial ended with a hung jury on man's allegations, but a guilty verdict on another woman's sex assault claim. The retrial is expected to last a month. I'm Sarah Lee Kessler. Traffic guitarist and co-founder, Dave Mason is dead at the age of 79. According to a statement from his family, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer died Sunday peacefully at his home. Mexico supplies 70 to 90% of the tomatoes to the U.S., and now those come with a 17% tariff. They cost more coming into the country, costs more to transport across the country with rising fuel costs, and costs more for the consumer. I'm Bree Tennis. Cardinals a winner, 53 over the Marlins yesterday. Guardians 8.5 over the Astros. Tigers fell 12 to 4 to the brew crew. Ray's lost to the Reds 12 to 6. Debacks lost 115 to the White Sox. Pirates lost 5 to 1 in Texas. Padres won nothing over the Rockies. Did you see that fan who broke his back trying to get that foul ball? It's a great catch. Hope the ball's worth it. Angels lost 4 to 2 to the Blue Jays. A's beat the Mariners 5 to 2, and the Dodgers lost 3-1 in San Francisco. NHL playoffs, Lightning with a win in overtime. That series now tied with the Canadians at one game apiece. Sabres, ouch, lost 4 to 2 to the Bruins. Series tied 1-1. And the Kings lost in overtime, 2-1 to the abs. Colorado now leads that series 2 games to nothing. And NBA playoffs, Blazers by 3 over the Spurs. Series tied 1 apiece. And the Lakers 101.94 over the Rockets, the Lakers take a 2-0 lead in that NBA opening playoff series. Birthdays today, actor Jack Nicholson. You're not right.

Ready for 89. Yes, he is. He's 89 years old today. Is he a rapper? Is he a singer? I thought he was just a DJ. Machine Gun Kelly, 36. Swimmer. Riley Gaines Barker is 26. Beast Mode himself. Arshan Lynch, 40 years old today. If it's your birthday, happy birthday. We're so glad you were born. And thanks for making your morning show a part of your big day. Right now, I hope our Jewish friends don't feel forgotten. And I'd like to ensure that they don't. There's a Jewish woman named Esther, I'd like to tell you about. Esther lives in Israel. She's living through some pretty tough days and nights right now. Siren sounding, rockets screaming through the sky, long stretches spent in bomb shelters. This is not a television event or an online debate. This is a war zone. 84 years old, Esther's elderly, fragile, alone. Imagine that. No help, no food deliveries, no medical care. No one's knocking on her door, especially in a war zone. But because of friends, just like you, Esther's not alone. Through the international fellowship of Christians and Jews, you're there, bringing food, meeting urgent needs, reminding Jewish people just like Esther, you're not forgotten. In times of fear and uncertainty, your compassion brings the hope and help. Christians and Jews standing together. Won't you stand with us? Don't wait. Please consider giving today. Call 888-488-48-I-F-C-J. Any amount collectively makes a huge difference. 888-48-48-I-F-C-J or give securely online at IFCJ.org. That's I-FCJ.org. All gifts are tax deductible and God bless you as you give. And Esther thanks you. And I thank you. It's your morning show with Michael Del Giorno. I think we're headed to... Irv in Lebanon, Tennessee? Just wondering if you had any thoughts on the Southern Poverty Law Center indictments where they were funneling their funds to, quote, hate groups, unquote, to perpetuate the existence of the groups that they were seemingly fighting against. Can't make this stuff up. No, you can't. It's kind of like destroying democracy in the name of saving democracy, right? I used to be on their hate list. I don't know if I am anymore. Oh, I was heavy on their list. Really? Yeah. Again, it's just not a two-way street the way it plays, right? It's always weaponized. Look at gerrymandering today. Is gerrymandering wrong? When the other person does it, not when we do it. Problem is both sides are doing it. Now what? Yeah, you can't make it up, Earth. Look, we try to make sense. It's not an easy job. I may have to start drinking. To Bill, this might do it too. William Wilmington, Delaware and Bill. Good morning, Michael. What is up with you and no Philadelphia sports scores? Okay. Come on, man. To my knowledge, we are not on in Philadelphia. Look, as it is, just to do all the markets that we're in with baseball is 13 games.

But having said that, the Cubs beat the Phillies, 74, the Sixers beat the Celtics. 11197. Way to give in. Way to give in. Flyers didn't even play. They played tonight. And they leave the Penguins, two games to nothing. There. I can't do everybody's, we're supposed to be doing talk radio, not sports. The Sabre lost killed me last night. I really want that city to win at something. Is that asking too much? All right, kind of along the lines of Irv's call. We're going to visit with our senior contributor, David Sinati, about what happened to Virginia, what's happening. And again, you know what's really sad about this? They're just going to turn around and do it. The Republicans are going to turn around and do it in Florida. So, I mean, at some point, we're all faced with this. Is gerrymandering wrong every single time, no matter when it's done? But in the matrix, that isn't how it plays. It's only wrong when the other one does it. And then we'll turn around and do it. And then who did it first? It really doesn't matter anymore. It's a runaway trained. And if it's upheld, all that happened last night is one county in Virginia will erase the votes of every other county. So you may have 49% that are Republican in that state, but they'll get no representation. Kind of like the entire New England coast. That's not even good democracy. And we're not even a democracy. I don't know that the state Supreme Court is going to uphold this vote, but the significance of this vote with David Zanati coming up. We're all in this together. This is your morning show with Michael Del Giorno.
