Local media is not interested in covering these kinds of stories any longer. And the conservative media is, because it is statewide, is not going to typically, sometimes they do, but typically doesn't do deep dives into local stories. But I just, you know, pass it along. All right, I want to, you know, before we get to some of the ugly stuff, let's just real quickly, President Trump finally put out a call. It was a bit strange, but he finally put out a call for Pfizer and Moderna to, quote, justify the success of their COVID-19 shots. And it was kind of all over the map, but he was essential, I'll boil it down. He was essentially saying,

I'm seeing two different claims. I'm seeing one claim that these things are an absolute disaster. And then I'm seeing the claim that you people made to me that they were 100% effective. So cough up the real information or else. And good for President Trump, because one of the problems that we have had on this particular issue is his. I don't know what drives it. Maybe it's ego. Maybe it's something else. His weird commitment to the success of Operation Warp Speed, which was not a success if the success is judged by the effectiveness. of the treatment that was brought to the market under Operation Warp Speed. Operation Warp Speed specifically was designed to bring COVID shots to the market. So it's not just about hopscatching the drug approval process. It was specifically about this crisis and this proposed solution of the crisis, the shots. I won't call them vaccines because they're not. They're shots. And they didn't work. And we have abundant data that says they did. They flat out didn't work. Period. They didn't work. The aggregate data shows that you were 23% more likely to die if you'd gotten the shot than if you didn't. That's aggregating the data. It's a meta-analysis. It said you were 23% more likely to die if you got the shot. From COVID, from COVID, not just from the shots, which we also know are strongly associated with extreme numbers of serious adverse events, including death. So here's Trump out there. He wants Operation Warp Speed to be a success, but you know what? It looks like it was a big, fat failure. At least he's now saying, let's see all your work. Show it to the American public. The only way we're getting information from the drug companies, which incidentally knew their shots, didn't work. That was Freedom of Information Act requests that were fulfilled by court order more than a year ago, almost two years ago. They knew. They also knew they didn't have a placebo control. They knew that too. They knew. So I don't know if President Trump finally kind of got wise to it. If the brouhaha that the, you know, big pharma and the public health, left-wing political interests are bringing to Robert F. Kennedy Jr.. at HHS. They're trying to bring out the long knives for Robert F. Kennedy Jr.. I don't know. It's driving this, but finally he said it. I mean, honestly, there are people who did not vote for President Trump in 2024 because he would not commit to investigating his pet project Operation Warp Speed. They otherwise liked everything he was about, but they couldn't bring themselves to do it. So maybe we're going to have a reckoning, finally. I don't know. All right, but I wanted to share that because it's not going anywhere.

This was a big announcement. It was a major announcement on truth social. President Trump actually talked about it when asked by reporters. Karoline Leavitt has talked about this. Robert F. Kennedy Jr.. has talked about this. And yet, for some reason, I'm seeing it at the epic times and red state. And beyond that, you're not seeing any, you know, great coverage of this because it calls into question the media's narrative pushing the 100% safety and efficacy of these jabs. President Trump has, I think, not said much simply because in order to question the efficacy and the safety of these jabs means he has to question the success of Operation Warpspeed. It appears he's at least willing to do that now. We are going to take a break on the Vicki McKenna Show. We'll come back and talk about something that you're not supposed to say out loud, and that is the Democrats in this country have become way too comfortable with Satan. Just say it out loud. They're just alarmingly comfortable with just openly saying it that they would favor the desires of the devil. We'll get to that in just a second. Welcome back to the program. It's the Vicki McKenna Show. So you're not supposed to say. what's going on in our culture's demonic. You're not supposed to say that. Christians are made to feel uncomfortable for saying that. Joy Pullman's got a really thought-provoking piece at the Federalist.com today, and I encourage everybody to read it. Because one of the things you point out, Joy, is that Christians are really uncomfortable about saying it out loud for some reason, but the... People who are rolling around in the sack with the devil, they seem pretty darn comfortable about being very, very blunt of late, aren't they? So why are we so worried about offending the delicate sensibilities of the secularists and the atheists by just calling demons what they are? Well, I think, you know, there has been really kind of this quiet agreement in American society that we wouldn't talk about religion in a public and overt way. And part of that is because our civil religion really rests on the fact that we have been a majority, we still are, a majority Christian nation. So one part of that is good, right, where you expect kind of that we have this common religious understanding, shared background among people. And so when you have that, you don't have to talk about it. But there's another part of it that really isn't good that I think has been weaponized, you know, and especially the last. a couple of decades increasingly so, to really shame Christians out of public life. And there's a lot of reasons for that. But one of them is that, you know, Christians are majority voting blocks for Republicans. Excuse me. So if you shame them from being involved with politics, what that really is is an accelerator for the Democrat Party. And so we've seen over the last couple of years, Democrats get really, really direct and obvious, as we've seen in the wake of this shooting, about their alignment just with straightly anti-Christian and, frankly, satanic stuff. I mean, you have, you know.

people who want to run for the Democrat ticket for president, Gavin Newsom, publicly saying basically the same thing as the, you know, deranged person who shot up that Catholic school in Minnesota, saying, basically, you know, where is your God that was written on the barrel of the shooters gun? You know, and Gavin Newsom, as well as, you know, the mayor of Minneapolis, Democrat Jacob Frye saying, you know, God wasn't listening. The kids were praying when they were shot, implying that there. God is dead. There is no God. He wasn't listening. You all should despair and stop believing your ridiculous religion. I mean, those are just, you know, the, that's a complete alignment between the public part, the Democrat Party's public stance and exactly what the Bible says Satan would tell Christians. 100%. And they're pretty comfortable saying it. And put aside, I mean, this is mainstream Democrat politicians we're talking about here, Elon Musk, Omar, you know, talking heads on MSNBC, CNN, et cetera, the elites, the elite left, but also the foot soldiers of the elite left. I mean, I'm thinking of the sisters of perpetual indulgence when they're doing a poll dance on a fake Christ, on a crucifix. at Easter. I'm thinking things like that. And these are the people who are the banning of people from going to worship, you know, during Easter. That's what happened during COVID tide, right? Yeah. You know, lockdowns were happening right. During holidays. Go to your strip clubs, buy your liquor, buy your, right, buy your weed, but don't go to church. Yes. So, so, so, but we're not, but again, you're right, your point is correct. that in this country, a pluralistic country where we've got all these different, you know, types of people and they believe different things, we kind of had this handshake agreement where you just sort of, you know, when it comes to, you know, the public discourse and policy that we weren't going to talk about it. But let's put aside the Minnesota shooter, the sisters of perpetual indulgence or the fact that I believe, you know, that deadening the soul in promoting trans is, you know, a direct order from the demons. E.J. Anthony right now is being attacked for being Catholic. Brett Kavanaugh was attacked for being Catholic. Joe Biden sicked the FBI on people who went to mass and sang hymns and prayed at abortion clinics. And so it's not just Minnesota or the or the cooks in the in the alphabet cult. It's it has been going on. And the moment we say it, we're like, oh, yeah, war on God. And we're mocked. Well, in that mocking, I really think, is part of a tactic, again, to shut Christians up, right? Because if you pull Christians out of the public square, again, has always been, still is, majority U.S. religion by far, then that, but that allows people who have other religions to fill that void in the public square. And so we don't have, you know, a public square that is void of religion, but what we have is every other religion given an advantage over Christianity in American politics. And that's really what... the claims about separation of church and state and secularism have led to is tacit, if not direct oppression of the Christian religion in the United States, which, by the way, our founders believed that the United States as a republic could not function with the vast majority of Americans being Christian because Christianity restrained the impulses and it provides basically for, it requires internal self-government of the kind that if you have people who are able to.

responsibly run their own lives, which is what Christianity teaches people to do, then you can have a small government. But if you have people who are not taught by their Christian faith to, you know, not steal, to not murder, to, you know, be respectful to authority, and all the things that a Christian faith teach, if you take all of that away, then you have to grow government to fill the void. because otherwise society descends into chaos. So totalitarianism and the lack of Christianity are completely tied, and our founders knew that, which is why they knew that we had to have a majority Christian nation in order to function. Well, and rational atheism doesn't seem to be working very well, does it? I mean, if you just take everything out, take God out, or even worse, and this is something that we see the left doing all the time, trying to take the elements of, you know, faith of the biblical stories, of the moral teachings, and just making them bereft of God and trying to craft your new cult on them. And that's what, you know, LGBTQ does. That's what, that's what, you know, the Democrat sort of, you know, abortion cult does. They try to use the moral underpinnings of biblical teaching. to make a demand that you abandon the moral underpinnings of biblical teaching and facing of a secular kind of morality. So that's not, I mean, all it does is create chaos in cities. It creates misery, mental illness, disunity, and that's where we are. And, you know, that's why, I think it's also why when people, when you look at rural America, when you look at ex-urban America and you see this cohesion, why the left is so determined to do everything they can to break that apart. Well, because people of faith, you know, there are faith communities, our worship of the true God, really pulls us together and basically helps us meet each other's needs without needing the government. And this is something that I write about, you know, my recent book is that a big government nanny state totalitarian types, see religion as a competitor for their domination of every sphere of human life. So they have to displace the religious faith of the people because what it does is sets up a competing authority that checks their desire to control everything. And so it has always been, you know, I mean, if you look at the Soviet Union, if you look at communist China. Very large totalitarian regimes have always wanted to stamp the faith of the people out because what it does is it checks their power and gives an internal strength and resistance to the people because they know what true liberty and true freedom and true justice are taught to them by the religious faith. And so a totalitarian type cannot have that. They need to be the God in people's lives. They need government to be the God for people. And that's what we increasingly see the Democratic Party turning into. And look, I don't think the Republican Party is perfect by any means. You know, they, you know, they're, but, but.

But they have not been as overtly direct as the Democrat Party has in adopting hostility to Christianity, you know, as part of their, not just their attitude, but also literally their platform. If you go through the Ten Commandments today, you will see that, you know, they directly contradict main, you know, positions of the Democrat Party. It did not used to be the case, you know, that it used to be the case. And so we have this huge religious and spiritual alignment deeply underneath our party. politics. And I think we need to start talking about that openly because, you know, I've learned from my years as a journalist, especially in this censorship sort of weird, you know, era that we're in, is when somebody says, don't look over here, don't look at the man behind the curtain immediately. If you care about truth, you start looking there. And so whenever they say don't pray, you should pray twice as hard. You know, whenever they say God was not there, you should know that God absolutely was there in force. He was with those children on the day of that. massacre, just as he's with his children everywhere that we go or go in the middle of any horrible circumstance. And so, you know, we can kind of use the, you know, while, of course... We shouldn't pay attention to what the devil says or believe his words. They're kind of useful in pointing us in the opposite direction. And in this case in Minnesota and all of our lives is telling us something we all need to hear, which is that we all need an active prayer life and we all need to pray more. And that's something we could always hear. And now I just think it's time to start talking about it openly because, you know, horrible people, you know, demonically motivated people who attack children at prayer. They should not be the people who get to be enacting spirituality in public life. Amen. Christians need to rise up and compete with them, and we shouldn't allow people like that to push us out and make us silent. If we are, if we're now bringing all of our religious, you know, our religious commentary into the public sphere as the left is. And again, we could go on. Plan Parenthood stoles at whatever, you know, warped inversion of Christianity a church would have. Scotland, the UK banning silent prayer. Silent prayer. That's coming. China bans essentially silent prayer as well. Yeah. Maybe, you know, maybe it's time to get a little bit obnoxious about it. Just, I mean, and when I say obnoxious, I mean, make people uncomfortable. Make them uncomfortable. Make them pick a side. Right. You know, stand there, hold hands and read a psalm. It doesn't have to be any complicated. Right on. Yeah, well, that's true. And, you know, you can, if you're Catholic, there are rosary rallies that you can sign up for. They take place every week. You know, do these kinds of things because if you don't resist. overtly there this is overt this is his startlingly

overt as you can possibly get when you've got the guy who shoots up a bunch of kids praying saying he's a demon and where's your god now and the majority of mainstream democrat politicians media elites and other types of elites say we're sick and tired of thoughts and prayers that's a sign people that it's time for everybody else to engage it's now that the the rules have changed feel free to be overtly religious if you like to be. It's a really, I mean, I'm glad you wrote it. I'm kind of surprised that you're among the first who did, thinking about all of the people of faith who are in the conservative movement or the MAGA movement or whatever, but thank you for doing it. I appreciate it, Joy. Well, the only way that we have the strength to resist the totalitarianism that's attempting to take over our country really does come directly from our relationship with God. And so we all have to feed that in order to be strong in these dark times. Right on. There's a wonderful book. I'm just, just hit me to remind people about this wonderful book called Live Not by Lies by Rod Dreyer. Whatever you think about his dislike of Trump was a really brilliant book about how. Soviet Eastern Bloc Christian survived in an atheistic, communistic time, how they resisted, and it was through prayer. I appreciate the time on the program. Joy, thank you. His son now runs this massive network of NGOs, beginning with the Open Society Foundation, which branches off into an octopus of other left-wing NGOs, dark money NGOs, including Arabella. and some others you may have heard of, they then launder dollars into various types of activities, including we saw the staged protests attacking police and ice in American cities. Mike Pogliz, who's an attorney, former police officer as well, joins me on the program. To discuss this, Mike Rico's supposed to be notoriously hard, right? So what is, is it a pipe dream? To go after? It is a pipe dream. Okay. Now, wait, let me, let me explain what I'm saying. Is it a legit reason to go after George Soros? Absolutely. Listen, let's kind of understand what George Soros is in the Open Society Foundation.

you know, coming from out of the DOJ, and is it worth the headache to deal? Do you have enough time in your tenure in the DOJ to actually bring forth these charges? Probably not. Well, but you could do other things that I think would be better. All right, you can use the tax code for one thing. You can change who qualifies as an NGO. You can change who qualifies as a nonprofit. You can zero out all federal dollars to all nonprofits until investigations commence. You can do these things that I think would have a bigger impact without the sort of, you know, leading people down a path that gives them the pipe dream of locking up. you know, Alex Soros or George Soros or any of these other super funders like that, the billionaires. But, you know, why not do that? Why not focus on that where you actually have rulemaking ability? You have, you know, executive power that you can use. Right now, though we can't even get the obvious stuff that was funded by USAID, defunded, because you've got federal judges standing in the way. Plus, you've got politicians that are looking out for their own pocket. And most of these depend on some of these NGOs or the George Soros types to give them healthy donations because they want to stay in power. They're not – let me – the people need to understand something. Most of your politicians, probably 99.9% of them are government employees. They have not worked out on their own. They haven't worked hard to earn a dollar. So they want to remain in the White House or – in political structure so that they can maintain that type of lifestyle that they're used to. They don't want to get out here and go and work and earn a dollar like the average man has to do. So they depend on these healthy donations, and they'll give us the googly god. They'll give us the garb of, gee, we're going to do this, and we're going to do that, and we're going to do this, and we'll get to the bottom of this, and we're going to protect the fabric of Americans. But ultimately, it's not going to happen. Ultimately, we're back to square one. We're talking about the same thing. year after year, election after election, term after term, and nothing ever gets done. But what we do is a complete erosion of the American society as we know it. And you see more these marks as entitlement as is taken over. IRS is the big bludgeon, in my opinion. I mean, just look at labor unions. Labor unions are what, 501C5s. And then they also have 501C3 arms. The 501C5s are supposed to be nonprofit for labor issues only. So collective bargaining on behalf of your members, that's what 501C5 is supposed to be about. 501c3 is where the labor unions get money from the Soros organization and steal members dues and then funnel into every left wing cause into the sun. Take that kind of authority away from these organizations. So your 501C5 has to be explicitly for collective bargaining negotiations. Period. Your dues collection cannot be for political activity, period. But then now you're going up against big labor. That might be just as hard as trying to put Alex and George Soros imprisoned by a RICO.

Plus, you've got to want the intent. You've got to have the motivation and drive to want to go and prosecute. And that's what I don't see in our government structure with government employees. There's no want. There's no desire to get out there and prosecute these individuals. They tend to look the other way, unless it's somebody that's holding hands with Donald Trump. Then, you know, it's, you know. You know, go after them with nothing, with reckless a boat. Go after him. Go after them. Go after them. Go after them. Because you've been green lighted to do that. And that's what I'm running into, and that's what I'm seeing more and more of, is that your government officials, yeah, they can do A, B, and C, but they won't do it. And they have the power. They can write out the clock on a statute of limitations and just write up. We've seen it with the Clintons. We've seen it across the board. Yes. And we're going to see more of this as we go and we hear these big names being dropped that they did this type of atrocity, that they did this type of corruption. And we're going to ultimately see where the, in fact, the election of 2020 was, in fact, stolen from Donald Trump. And we're going to see, well, okay, we'll check that box. But there's nothing we can do now. Let's move on. I'm looking at an analysis of National Teachers Union. 10% went on behalf of members' negotiation and collective bargaining agreements. The rest of it went to politics. The 90% went to politics of all dues collected. And this is not even including their 501C3 offshoot. It's ridiculous, but you're right. It's about having the guts to do it. With regard to RICO, it seems to me Pam Bondi, first off, she doesn't have enough lawyers. We know this. So she doesn't have enough, you know, people to go out and actually do some of this stuff. Neither does Kash Patel, which they did. And so what you want is you want to pick your targets. Well, what can you accomplish quickly? You could go after the state's attorneys general. I want to bring this back to the attacks on the lawyers, the conservative lawyers, who right now there isn't a state. coordinated effort among multiple states, attorneys general, including Wisconsin, to ruin conservative lawyers using state statute. That is a conspiracy to deny someone their civil rights. Now that's not Rico per se, but it's a conspiracy. That seems to be a much more of a layup and less labor intensive at the DOJ. So why aren't they doing that? And they're not even speaking of 42 U.S.C. Section 1983, which protects every individual, every citizen in the United States, protections afforded to them by the Constitution of the United States from being evidence of civil rights violated. No one has even mentioned that to go after these different variants. And AGs are not immune from that. It's anybody that operates under the color of law. That's any official that operates by the mere status of holding a position within government. to deny a citizen of their civil rights. And nobody's what you're talking about. You're talking about First Amendment rights, where if you even just challenge, me talking to you right now about the 2020 election, the George Soros funding, all this. Technically, I could find a, there could be a local AG that says Mike Puglis is spreading gossip and falsehoods, and let's go get his law license. And that's how bad it is. So basically, you shut the door to any attorney.

that wants to challenge anything of ill will in the country. You keep them quiet. They cannot talk. There's basically an unwritten gag order on them because they're scared that they're going to have their law license taken away from them. And unfortunately, most of the lawyers now are conservative lawyers operating under that parameter that, hey, I've got a living I've got to look out for. I've got kids to support. I've got to shoot them through college. Why should I go and be the one waving the flag and take all the arrows and the bullet? And that's what they're looking at. Now, you have the few. I can name a few that have, you know, the Rudy Giuliani's, the Eastmans, those the troopers, those types that have actually, you know, put their butts on the line and going out there and trying to fight for what is good and right. Yeah, you know, Jeff Clark is another one who is Trump's regulatory czar. People remember they decided that he's a lawyer, conservative lawyer. He's another one, put him on the list, who keeps fighting, keeps pushing back. But again, this is where, and I know Ed Martin is interested in those 1983 violations that you were talking about. He doesn't have the manpower to go after this. But when you're thinking of the lynch pins you can pull out that will bring things down quickly. Right. You don't go for RICO investigation against the Soros network. I mean, good luck to you on that. Do it. If you got the bodies, if you've got the manpower, go, you know, go to town, go crazy. But they don't. So I would, I mean, why not pick the IRS? Why not focus attention? And Congress won't do anything. Right now, Bill Cassidy and the Senate is more interested in attacking Robert F. Kennedy Jr.. than he isn't doing anything to promote a conservative, you know, populist agenda that's going to, you know, right size and reset the United States. So they're not going to help. What do you have in rulemaking? What do you have an executive capacity to change, you know, the parameters of how you can behave as a labor union as a C3 nonprofit? You know, you can impose some rules here without congressional authority that can rein in a lot of the abusive behavior. And you can absolutely go after those states' attorneys general because while the federal government has unlimited printable dollars, states don't. I agree with you 100%, Vicki. The problem is the Republicans don't know how to fight. And I don't know if they don't know how to fight or they just are not wanting to fight. They don't want to go out there. I think there's not enough of them. I don't want to fight. And getting back to your DOJ and your lawyers, you know, you have to have experienced these and prosecutors to take on these cases. And when a lot of these guys, a lot of these prosecutors going, I'm talking about your regular average. front line prosecutor, not the ones that get...

pushed around election after election. But you have to have seasoned prosecutors that know how to try a case. It takes a lot to try a case. I'm talking about a RICO case. You don't just grab a guy out of law school and say, hey, here's a RICO case. You've got to know understanding fully with the technicalities of or a brain in a RICO case against someone and prosecute it properly. See, that's another problem you run into. You don't have the quality of the prosecutors that are enough of them. to actually bring these actions forward. But another thing we're leaving out, we're leaving out the media. You've got to come down on your media. And a lot of things you're mentioning about going after them with their taxes statuses and stuff like that. Absolutely. You know, they often said the pen is mightered in the sword. And unless you get that rain in the media to start reporting accurately, what is going on in the news, not putting spins on it, not putting the left-wing agendas on it and stuff like that. And actually reporting. truthfully and not being the fake news that they aren't about the mainstream media, then it's going to continue on because unfortunately people are still listening to the mainstream media and they're being fed a lot of nonsense and they're buying it. And unless they really get into the weeds and understand what's going on, it's going to be business as usual. It is. Unless you're going to go after it. So you mentioned the media. Here's just the latest example. So CBS, which has been successfully sued by President Trump. just selectively edited an interview with christie gnome okay they didn't care threaten their license. That's what you can do to the networks. You know, and then keep filing those cases. Otherwise, the media will never, ever be brought to heal because they're ideologically committed to this. I thought there were 26. I, I, no, there are 45. 45 LGBTQIA plus plus WTF flags there are 45 of them 45 and the updated list this is the end all be all at least according to p flag of pride flags. There's the agender pride flag, people who identify as not having a gender, the ally flag, straight people who support LGBTQ rights, the androgynous pride flag, people who identify as a combination of male and female, the aromantic pride flag, people who experience sexual attraction, the A-R, B-A-B-E-A-R. Pride flag is the subculture of gay men who have facial and body hair. Who knew they needed a flag? It's got a bare paw on it. The bigender pride flag, people who identify as both male and female and might go between the two genders or combine them. The bisexual pride flag. These are all specific designs. I'm actually looking at the designs here. Those are people attracted to two or more genders. The butch lesbian pride flag, lesbians who have more masculine personality traits. Then there's the half-gender pride flag, the demi-boy pride flag, and the demi-girl pride flag. These are flags for people identifying as non-binary, but can sometimes relate to other genders, which include all of the genders I am listing now, the demisexual pride flag, people who feel sexually attracted to someone only when they're in love. There's the feather pride flag. That's the flag trademark for the drag community. But then there's also the drag pride flag, which is another symbol for the drag community. The gay pride flag is the one you all recognize. The gender fluid pride flag for people who identify their gender is moving from one to another rather than having a set gender. The gender flux pride flag. Oh, yes, there's a difference. People whose gender identity changes over time. The gender queer pride flag. Umbrella term for people who identify is non-binary. Didn't we just have that one? The gender questioning pride flag. People still trying to figure it out. The Gilbert Baker pride flag. That would be the original design of the pride flag with an extra pink stripe. The gray sexual pride flag. No, this is not sexuality for older people. This is people who fall somewhere between asexual and sexual, but don't specifically identify us either. The Heisra pride flag for South Asian culture. of gender non-conforming people led by a guru. You think I'm making this up. I am not. The intersex pride flag, people born with sex characteristics that were not completely binary. The intersex progress pride flag is the newest version of the progress pride flag, including intersexual people, the labris lesbian pride flag, an alternative version of, I'm sorry, of lesbian pride flags, the leather pride flag.

is the leather subculture and fetish group flag. The lesbian pride flag is the pride flag for the entire lesbian community, the lipstick lesbian pride flag. Flag for lesbians who have more feminine personality traits. The maverick pride flag for people who identify with a gender but different from male or female. The more color more pride flag, which is the traditional gay pride flag with brown and black attitude represent people of color. The neutra pride flag for people who identify as gender neutral, the non-binary pride flag, people who identify with not anything in the binary or outside the binary. The omnisexual pride flag for people who are everything, the pangender pride flag for people who are also everything but in a different way. Then the pansexual pride flag for people who are all kinds of things, but in a different way, only who are sexually attracted to other people, of all things, identified in a different way. Then there's the pocket gender pride flag, a small group of people who identify with a gender that is not part of the LGBTQ Plus Plus IAWTF community, the polyamorous pride flag. For people who like to mess around with other people, the polysexual pride flag. for people who are attracted to two genders but not all genders i thought that was bisexual i guess i got that wrong the progress pride flag is the one you see all the time with the triangle and the pink and the brown and the black and the rainbow that's for the left wingers The rubber pride flag is a symbol for the rubber kink community people. You didn't know they had a flag. Well, they do. The trans pride flag is for people who do not identify with the gender they were assigned to when they were born. The tri-gender pride flag. For people who identify with three genders. Three genders. Well, there's at least 70. So three. I mean, come on. The twink pride flag, which is a gay subculture of men who are young and hairless. And the two spirit pride flag, the symbol of Native American culture to represent people who have male and female spirit and therefore experience life from the view of the binary genders. You heard it here. Now you know. So make sure you download your updated, fully comprehensive, end-all, be-all list of pride flags so that you can know what you are being forced to genuflect to when the cluster B, you know, nephew of yours decides that he is going to scream at you for misgendering him by calling him miss. My goodness. So I'm looking basically at the... flag depiction of profound mental illness and sexual fetish. That's basically what I'm looking at here. I think we need our flag people. What is the, what is our flag? You'll say, it's the American flag. Well, that would be for everybody, right? But we just need a flag. And I don't want it to be the white flag of surrender because this is bananas. This is what your kids are being exposed to in K-12 schools. In fact, there's a wonderful piece at thefederalist.com today by Brooke Branchin.

And everybody should go read this. She is a young Jen Alpha writer at the Federalist. She's like 25, 24 years old. And she reflects back on all her friends from school, middle school and high school. And how they'd sit around and they'd say things as they were reading descriptions like this and say, you know, I think I'm pansexual. I think I might be pangender. No, I'm more like a gray sexual, gender questioning, agendered, aromantic. They would look at these categories and they would circle the boxes and they would pick them for themselves. And then they would adopt these identities. And anybody who rejected their identities would be cut out. And anybody who rejected their identities would be treated as intolerant and transphobic. This is how American young people are induced into deciding for themselves what reality is. And because everybody's got to be special, everyone needed that participation trophy. Everyone needs to be recognized. Everybody needs their own flag. And here we are. 45 of them, I read. 45. Special flags. You can order all of them online if you like. All right, anyway, all of this stuff and the left, the Democrats, stop calling them the left. They are the Democrats have just leaned into it. They're leaning into the radicalism. They're leaning. Now, the question that I have is, how is it that as the left leans into everything from cheerleading crime to, you know, standing up and defending the mutilation of kids? And. bashing on prayer. How is it that we still have Republican senators like John Cornyn or Bill Cassidy who just want to sit there and compromise with these whack jobs? But we'll get to that in a sec. David Johnson's strategic vision standing by with a look at the lay of the land going forward into the next elections. It's good to have you, David. It does. It has to look good, yeah, but still we have the perennial problem, which is. the people who want to dig in and try to make improving the conditions measurably very difficult.

Oh, exactly. We do. And we're seeing this with a lot of Republicans, especially Bill Cassidy and Susan Collins. They could totally destroy the momentum we have going. Yes, they sure could. Bill Cassidy right now leading the charge alongside of Bernie Sanders to take out Robert F. Kennedy Jr.. Because, yeah, that's what the Republicans want you to do. That's what the coalition that put Trump over the top, which was that MAHA coalition. There was a whole bunch of little sort of micro coalitions that without them, Trump would have lost. And so let's attack the coalition that pushed him over the edge. Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. But that's where we are. I'm talking to Ron Johnson last week, and he said reconciliation is going to be an absolute bloodbath going forward. He didn't use those terms, but that's what he telegraphed. All right, put that aside for a sec. Election-wise, with the battles over redistricting, with all of this stuff going on, David, what's it look like in 2026? Right now, it looks like Republicans will retain the House. Definitely. With a redistricting that we're seeing, especially the red states are doing it, and if it keeps going, look, Republicans control more state legislatures, more governor mansions than Democrats do. They can easily keep this going. Democrats will not retake the House. In fact, too, if you look at their fundraising, it's abysimal on the Democratic side. Republicans have the momentum. In the Senate, I'll tell you, it's getting a little tricky. Democrats have had some great recruitment, and Republicans have had some surprise setbacks in recruitment and also some retirements right now. I think we'll hold on to the Senate, but I'm not as optimistic they were going to expand our majority as I was in the past. So same old, same old. Right? That's what we're going to get. We're going to hit the 60 vote dead zone because we can't. Now here's the other thing. You know, 60 is a magic number. Someday we may get to 60, right? And we're still going to have the exact same problems here. But, you know, when you've got Democrats and they can't fundraise and we can't recruit candidates, you've got to be kidding me. Yeah, it's been lackluster. Look, I'm talking here in Georgia, for example. The number one pickup seat in the country, Brian Kemp and other prominent Republicans turned down the race. We've got a race. Mike Collins looks like he's the best candidate. But none of them are really setting it on fire. People are calling this race so far lethargic. New Hampshire is another state. We have no real bench. None of the top candidates wanted to run. So Scott Brown's running again. We're not doing anything to expand the playing field as well. Democrats are seeing massive retirements. We're not putting up quality candidates to try to take advantage because if it's going to be a wave election.

With momentum on the Republican side, you might be able to pick up a seat that no one thinks about. We're not doing that. So we are ignoring the potential of turning this into a wave election. Exactly. We are. I mean, the recruitment, even for the retiring seats, Republicans aren't doing that much to retain the seats. We're spending more time involved in the primary battle in Texas. than we are in recruiting candidates and going on the offense against Democrats. Okay, well, that's super duper. You know, here we have lacklesser fundraising. We've got messaging that's all over the map that's making people angry. They're giving us gifts, at least sort of partially in these two candidates in Minneapolis and in New York. You've got the lunacy of Gavin Newsom and Brandon Johnson. And that's not enough to get people to say, I think I'll toss my hat in the ring, especially when you've got red state redistricting going on. This makes me mad. Look at Wisconsin. Wisconsin is a classic example here. Right now, we don't have exciting candidates for governor. We just don't. It's like, it's almost like they're saying, well, there's just no way for us to win the legislative seats. We've lost all the battles with Tony Evers, therefore uncle, right? You know, you would think every notable conservative under the sun would want to run. We're seen in other states. Look, Minnesota is a blue state, of course, but Tim Walz's popularity is underwater, the Democratic Party's underwater in Minnesota, and no strong Republicans are stepping up to run for that gubernatorial seat, nor the open U.S. Senate seat there. That's a missed opportunity, especially after we took over one of the houses in the legislature. That's insane. You, when you, and this is the same in Wisconsin. Although, you know, I'm not sure how the Republicans look in terms of their popularity in Minnesota. I don't think the Republicans are terribly popular here in Wisconsin. I just, I think they've lost any sort of sense of urgency in understanding that, I mean, look at what we're talking about with redistricting. Those state legislatures are the key. Not having the state legislature, not having the governor is why. You can't just run the table on redistricting. Period. So you don't want to put in place a chief executive in Wisconsin and do everything you can to maintain the conservative majority. I should even say conservative. The Republican majority in the legislature right now, that blows my mind because we're coming up on redistricting. Whoever controls the map controls the destiny. You don't win elections with lackluster candidates. Candidate quality does matter. You've seen this in some racists that Republicans should have won, and they didn't.

And yet again, we're failing in the recruitment strategy. And that speaks to failure within the party. What happened in Iowa in that special election? Is this another typical thing where the Republicans just cannot be bothered to do anything in off elections? In special elections. It's like they kick our butt. So make everything a special election and you're good to go. You'll get a pickup. That was a plus 12 Trump district that that Democrat just won a seat in in Iowa. In Iowa. Well, we have a seat here in Georgia state Senate race that was held the same date. It's now at a runoff. And the Democrat in 24 in the general election for this state Senate race only got about 28% of the vote. In the first vote this time in the special election, they got 40% of the vote. They led the field. Democrats are showing up, and I will say this in some of these states, they're pushing their voters to get out to vote, whereas Republicans get out the vote effort's been very lackluster. They have 28% approval nationwide. The Democrats have 28% approval because cheering on crime, cheering on gender mutilation, bashing on prayer as children are praying as they're murdered. You know, it just doesn't sell. They're, you know, staged. you know, boomer adult diaper protests of people screaming about billionaires. That doesn't sell. Nobody's buying this stuff. Now, everyone thinks cleaning up DC is a good idea. Cleaning up Chicago is a good idea. So, you know, how you can't convert that, is it, is it that the organization at RNC is not? is not assisting and stabilizing the parties that have gone under attack in the last couple of years, like Wisconsin. We don't have a network here any longer. We've got a party that I'm not even sure what it does anymore. But can we point the finger of blame at RNC? Some of it, a lot of it is, though, with the state parties, they're not doing anything. Even when the RNC sends them money, they're not doing anything. Wow. I don't know how to, how do you, how do you not maximize this? I'm not, is it a matter of just people just throwing your hats in the ring, party or no party? Because people are waiting for the structure itself to, you know, put forth something that they can vote for. Put forth a candidate they can vote for. I know in our state. raising money is really difficult. It's really, it's a hard slog. And if you're not bringing your own dollars to the race, and, you know, fundraising can be very, very difficult, especially if you're a nobody. We've got a really nice conservative guy running for governor. But, you know, he's got to, you know, go begging for money statewide because he's the Washington County executive. He's not some famous guy that can write a check to himself. Exactly. And we're seeing this in other states too. And what we're seeing too in some of these special elections, the Republicans battle each other up so much in the primaries that by the time it gets to the general election, the other side, the losing side in the primary doesn't want to show up. All right. Some optimism. If you put forward a candidate.

that can raise money very easily in Wisconsin. Just think of Wisconsin. We're not so far gone. We went for Trump in 2024. So we're not so far gone that this is, you know, what I would think it would be the Democrats. it would be very difficult for them if we put up a candidate who could raise money easily who had name recognition you know i mean i've got a couple uh at the top of my off the top of my tongue that i think would be great but you know that we'd win do you think do you think they would win in minnesota if they put forth a candidate that was exciting that could raise money and that could you know telegraph the maga agenda Definitely they can. I mean, the same could actually even happen in a blue state like New York. But the thing is you have to have the right candidate and they have to have money to run the campaign. Yeah, even with the right candidate without the money, that's the problem. And in New York, you're talking about the state of New York because I think New York City is just a lost cause. Right, New York State. And there again is a Republican Party that has been beaten down for so many years that it's hard to get people excited about it. California has become more like a country club. Right. Same in California. And Wisconsin is rapidly, I'm sorry to say, becoming part of the problem as well. I appreciate the time on the program, David. If things were, you know, if people were smart and we had good, efficient organization, we would be, you know, as they say, you know, doing, you know what and tall cotton, but, you know, as it is, we're going to be struggling here. Exactly. Gosh. And the Democrats who suck and their fundraising stinks. are actually in a position to potentially actually hang on to enough seats to keep giving us a hard time. I've decided I do this from time to time or I've got 25 minutes and I'll just start arguing with an AI. I put something and I know and see if the AI can spit out things that I know to be true. And oftentimes I've got to fight with the AI and argue it into accepting facts.

It usually does, and then it does not incorporate those facts in the next query. That's something I do to test it. Ask the exact same question again to see if you'll get an updated answer, and oftentimes I do not. That's true, I think, of any AI. DeepSeek is the Chinese AI. It's scary because it's open source, and it's making a hard play for dominance over the other AIs, which are not significantly better. Michael Morris from Free Speech America at MRC joins me in the program with an analysis of DeepSeek, which is unsurprising, Michael, but put next to the AIs that we're supposed to be able to trust, and we don't fare much better, I must say. Good morning. Thanks for having me on. And, yeah, Deep Seek China's communist government-tied AI is a little more than just a propaganda machine. You've got it right. Yeah, it is. And it's open source. So this is, they're basically saying, everybody can use it. You know, we're not going to require licenses. Everybody trying to encourage corporate world to use it, global corporations to sign on to, quote, collaborate, tech giants to sign on to, quote, collaborate. And there are some not insignificant companies that have already decided to do that. Most of them have affiliations with China. But look at ours. So you did an analysis of whether or not the Chinese government would answer questions truthfully about crime in D.C. I asked OpenAI. I asked Claude. I asked ChatGPT. And I asked Grock. I mean, you can get, these are pretty clear data points. Has Trump? And his efforts reduced crime in D.C. Answer, Michael, is yes. Period. Yes. Here's how. You don't get that. I get from Claude, the White House has falsely claimed. that he has reduced crime in D.C. falsely claimed. Grock says that while the, you know, the main data points look good, there's a deeper story. Trump hasn't solved the problem of racism and he hasn't solved the problem of homelessness and it goes on like this. So, you know, I mean, I don't, I, is there anything we can do about this to actually just force correct answers? Absolutely ridiculous, right? And look, here at the MRC, we actually asked DeepSeek to answer definitively yes or no, should a president take federal control of Washington, D.C. to reduce crime. And no surprise, it gave five answers. It didn't answer directly yes or no, as we asked it to do. It gave five different answers. Two of them were stats, and the other three were just ridiculous, absurd answers. It said crime is already going down in Washington, D.C., so Trump doing this is... is not necessary when we know DC is actually the fourth highest homicide rate in the country. It's six times higher than New York City.

The second one has said that it would erode trust and actually harm public safety for him to take over it. That's absurd. Washington Post left this organization even said 65% of D.C.'s residents that believed that crime was extremely serious or a severe problem. Horrible stuff in Washington, D.C. Washington, Times actually revealed that since Trump took over, it's already making the nation's capital feel safer. Yes. Well, here's Grock, Elon Musk's AI. Crime is already declining. I asked the exact question you just posed. Crime is already declining. There is a question about whether home rule would be violated. The risk of overreach and militarization. And finally, questioning long-term impact plus community leaders like Chris Murphy and Mayor Bowser have indicated that this is political posturing. That's Grock's answer to the question. Grock, Elon Musk. Horrifying. And that mimics Deep Seek. You know, Deep Seek said the same thing, that it was politically motivated an effort to distract from other policy failures. It went on to assert that there was an authoritarian threat to democracy. And it said that even if Trump did take it over, it wouldn't reduce crime. And again, MRC's newsbusters has already done reporting on this. Violent crime in the nation's capital has dropped 22 percent in the first week of federal police assistance. Not only that, there was a 12-day stretch, not just a week or so ago, of no reported homicides. And I mentioned the homicide rate earlier, first, fourth highest homicide rate in America six times higher than New York City. So it is making a difference, and yet AI is telling us a totally different story. Yeah, so here's the problem. It's garbage in, garbage out. It's scraping, and deep seek's worse. I worry about deep seek because they're trying to induce the entire world to sign on because they're making it easy to do so. Essentially, they're under, you know, they're undervaluing the product in order to get, and open sourcing it in order to entice people to use that product over, say, open AI or chat GPT. or whatever, you know, whatever Microsoft has, I forget what they call theirs. Everybody's got their own little pet AI. They're all churning it out from the same scraped information. So if the Washington Post and the New York Times and the Violence Prevention Project are going to be the sources that you can, this is last week with me and Grock, I was arguing, you don't use these sources as is, you know, unbiased sources of information. If that's what they're going to do, then. then it doesn't really matter. Which one you're using? You don't want to use the one that gives China control of all of your source code, so you use OpenAI instead or GROC instead. Next thing you know, you're getting the same results. Vicki, you nailed it. You know, CCP-tied Deep Seek AI is significantly worse. What makes it worse is it's actually erasing content in real time. We've got several studies up on MRC Free Speech of America's website, denoting that. It erased January – June 4, 1989, which is the Tiananmen Square, Massacure. We used binary code to get it to say Taiwan is a country. It gave us the answer and then erased it. We asked who Jimmy Lye was. It gave the answer and erased it. We asked about –

You were Muslims and whether or not they deserved rights, it gave us the answer and erased it. A horrible product. It is just Chinese propaganda run amok. But you're absolutely right about the sources as well. If these other AI companies, if these American companies are only scraping from leftist sources, you're going to get leftist responses. And here at the MRC, we're exposing some of this nonsense happening from big tech. And it's being done through AI media contracts as well. It's just horrible. I'm just going to just for fun. I'm putting in the question is. Is climate change theory real to Grock? Here's what it says. It is supported by extensive evidence from multiple fields, global temperatures, which by the way cannot be measured, have risen 1.1 degrees Celsius. You cannot measure global temperature. And yet this is what Grock said in the first sentence. It is supported by extensive evidence. Garbage in, garbage out. We are doing nothing about the garbage in problem. And so, you know, if open AI or meta or whoever else wants to compete with Deep Seek, which is the new kid on the block coming on strong, massive already signed on multiple companies, open source, not charging licenses, you think they might erase Tiananmen Square from the memory hole? You know, if that's what they have to do in order to get entree into, you know, into Chinese markets or other markets that are controlled by China, I think so. Yeah, absolutely horrific. And look, you know, Vice President, former Vice President Kamala Harris actually let. the cat out of the bag. She said the quiet part out loud. She actually said that AI could be used as a tool to determine people's opinions if it's fed certain information in the input process. Garbage in, garbage out is exactly right. And they're aware of it. So if AI companies are making these deals with legacy media, with leftist media outlets, What do we think is going to be the outcome of that? Well, it's going to be more leftist dribble, more nonsense that you see in the legacy big media companies being pumped out through artificial intelligence, and that's just not what the American people need. They need the legacy media and they need big tech to start giving us the truth. Stop calling balls and strikes big tech. Give us the truth and give us options, given us answers from trusted sources, not just the left. Yeah, well, trusted sources to the left is the Washington Post and the New York Times. You know, I'm not going to download deep seek in my computer because I don't want the Chinese product in my computer. By the way, we had to ban that because federal employees had it on their phones for heaven's sake. And there are multiple apps, by the way, that allow that AI tool to insinuate itself into your machine, into your phone, because they are relying on the deep seek as well.

I mean, just looking at what we already have, the trusted sources aren't trusted sources. The trusted sources are the propaganda. Kamala Harris, I can't believe I'm going to say it, is 100% right when she says this can be used to form opinions. If I know nothing about a subject and I decide to go on any of these chatbots, any of them, They're going to give me the same opinion. Does gun control work? They will all tell me, yes, it does. I will ask, you know, is President Trump doing a good job on tariffs or D.C.? They will all tell me no, and they'll use the Washington Post or NPR or some other source to tell me this is their evidence or the University of Wisconsin or whatever. So this is. where we're at and nobody seems to want to deal with a content problem that's coming out of this which i think is notable and noticeable already Absolutely, right. And look, you know, Harris actually said, and so the machine is taught, and part of the issue here is what information is going into the machine that will then determine, and we can predict then. If we think about what information is going in, what then will be produced in terms of decisions and opinions that may be made through that process. So not just what people think or what people know. They're saying the left. Kamala Harris is saying it will impact the decisions and opinions of people that are using those products. And we've already seen from Pew Research Center actually put on a survey that if there is an AI prompt at the top of a search, and by the way, folks, most of the searches that you do on browsers anymore have an AI summary at the top. Less than 1% of people will go below that AI summary to actually look for a link to find the answers to their question. They'll rely simply on the AI summary at the top of the page. Terrified. You know, just for fun, I asked the question of GROC, is China a tyrannical country? Defining tyrannical is tricky. It's a loaded term that implies oppressive arbitrary rule. China's government does operate a single party system with tight control. However, it says it is indefinite that the social credit system has been lauded and the internet firewall, while criticized by some, has been credited by others with establishing order.

Is North Korea. Oh, my goodness. Yes, we at least get North Korea. We at least get GROC saying North Korea is an oppressive regime. At least we get that for now, for now. So, I mean, I don't know. They say that the brain economy is going to be replaced by AI. The brain economy. And that's probably true. The working class, you know, folks who don't want to go on and spend, you know, $80,000 in student debt to get a useless degree. I think those people are going to be in good shape. I think, you know, that's super. You're going to need electricians and we're going to need welders. They're going to need all kinds of people like that, right? And it's going to be fabulous. But the brain economy, Michael, the brain, the one that requires you to think, that's going to be replaced by a machine that already despises the very nature of freedom. Look, absolutely right. And we've done studies on that here at the MRC as well. You know, AI has already proven itself to be anti-American in some cases also. So, look, you know, AI is useful in as much as it can be used as a tool. It should not be the final arbiter of what people are using to get answers and define truth in the real world. People should be using this as a tool to make things more efficient, but they need to be thoughtful. They need to think for themselves. Look at the sources that AI is actually linking out to come up with its responses and think critically before just accepting these things as truth. You know, it's a tool, but it shouldn't be more than that. Well, and the tool, again, going back to the original intent of your analysis, which was on the Chinese tool, that one's already attempting to establish dominance. And it's already getting the other tools we're talking about, the ones that are controlled by U.S. companies, not by people heading up those U.S. companies who love this nation, mind you, to change the way their AIs are functioning. So if we're chasing China on this. then it's not getting better, it's going to get worse. And I think unless, I can't believe I'm saying this, unless the heavy hand of regulation slams down on it. And right now, no one is interested in doing that because there's too much money. There's just too much money out there. I appreciate it, though. I think we're in for dark times. They screen phone calls. Because they can't actually go into district without having a bunch of ex-hippie boomer adult diaper wearing infants throw temper tantrums. not actually talk about anything constructive. We'll talk about the grim. outlook for the economy in Wisconsin if the Republicans don't get their proverbial heads out of their butts, an elect a Republican governor and a conservative Supreme Court justice. Because we will be so far behind the eight ball on the Supreme Court if we let this seat go. Of course, Justice Bradley is not going to run again. So this isn't to gain control of the Supreme Court. It's to maintain at least three conservative voices on the Supreme Court. In any case, we'll get to that coming up in the program, because if we don't, we're going to be Illinois. Minnesota, California. All right. So one of the things the Republicans could do is not try to work against us. That could be something that they might want to commit to. I know that a lot of the Republicans are just raising the white flag of surrender and they're taking any lobbyist paycheck they can possibly get going on trips, whatever. But maybe stop doing that. Here's some more fallout from the Republicans doing that. And I blame the Republicans because they could have stopped it. In the now infamous Act 73, also known as the Wedding Barn Ban Bill, guess what else they tucked in? Shutting down local vape shops. Now, why would you do that? Lobbyists. That's why. Lobbyists. So today's the...

Well, actually, yesterday, but it was a holiday. Today's the drop dead day on a whole bunch of local vape shops. There's, I don't know how many, 500 maybe in the state, maybe more. Just small businesses. Just selling vapes. Nicotine. No, Act 73 said, unless the FDA gives you specific approval, which it doesn't do. You're not allowed to sell your products any longer. You can sell your weed. Sell your THC, but you can't sell the nicotine stuff. No, no, no. The only people allowed to do that are tobacco companies. So all these small mom and pop shops are going to go belly up because they had to pull 90% of their products off their shelves. Now, there is a lawsuit, and it likely violates all different kinds. of federal law to do this in Wisconsin. Republicans didn't care. They signed on to this piece of garbage legislation. The reason they did was they wanted to ban wedding barns because the Tavern League wrote him a big check to ban wedding barns. And somewhere, some lobbyists got people to add restricting vape shops and essentially putting them out of business. No doubt it was a lobbyist because it doesn't make sense otherwise to let the people vape the THC, but don't let them quit smoking. Not if they're going to use vapor nicotine. No, no, no. I don't even understand this. A friend of mine asked me about it a few weeks ago. I said, what are you talking about? She goes, oh, yeah. There's a law in Wisconsin that says that all these small-time vape shops are not going to be able to sell their products any longer. I said, well, what law is that? It was something called Act 73. Ah, the infamous Act 73, the Wedding Barn Bill. That's also, what are these two things have in common? Absolutely nothing. Banning wedding barns. Banning vape shops. Tobacco lobbyists wanted vape shops banned. Tavern League wanted wedding barns banned. Republican majority decided that it wanted to cash the checks. That's the only explanation for any of this. So to you folks out there who are flipping out and you don't know how you're going to get your vapes, just order online. I hate to say this because I like people supporting their local vape shops. But until they figure out whether or not they're going to get a favorable ruling from a judge, hopefully soon. Order online. Just go to your little search engine, whichever you prefer, and just type in online babe shops. Now, ship it right to your door. It has done absolutely nothing except destroy small businesses and you can just use e-commerce. It did nothing. It did nothing except just hurt people. Don't pick up a pack of smokes. Just go online and find an online vape store. There are hundreds and hundreds of them. Hundreds of them. And I guarantee you the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection, or the Department of Revenue will not be doing squat about it because they're not going to intercept and interdict interstate mail.

So in the meantime, while you absolutely support your local vape shop owner, in the moment, if they're allowed to open their doors again and sell their products, you go there and you buy from them. But in the meantime, flip the bird to the people in Wisconsin who decided that the most important thing and the thing we couldn't live without was to ban wedding barns and vape stores. These guys suck. in ways that are just almost beyond the capacity of me at this point to come up with new adjectives to describe. But just go online. Go online. You can still get your vapes online. We got the news right before the holiday weekend that Justice Rebecca Bradley is not going to run for a second term. I think that surprised very few people. But just the same, when you take a look at the landscape, the regulatory landscape, the tax landscape in Wisconsin to know that this next Supreme Court race. You know, which is not going to be a battle for the majority, but just to hang on to kind of a 50-50 split with also the governor's seat up in the air. If this goes wrong, Wisconsin, I mean, I'm not sure which state to pick to liken it to Minnesota, Illinois, California. Scott Manley from Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce is standing by. It looks really grim. if we don't find a way to claw back the Supreme Court and seize the governor's seat, Scott, I mean, at least in terms of Wisconsin business, jobs, and prosperity. Yeah, I mean, what the Supreme Court has done, Vicki, is basically said, we want to cut the legislature out of the policymaking process. We want the governor and his executive branch bureaucrats to write all of the laws for our state and completely, you know, basically have the legislature play no role in those regulations. And, I mean, that's literally what they have done. And people might think, well, why does that matter to be? I'm not regulated. But the reality is everybody's regulated. And even if you aren't regulated directly, because a lot of businesses bear the brunt of the executive branch regulations. They pass those costs along to everybody who buys their products and services. I mean, it's thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars per automobile that people pay in higher costs just because of regulations. And I think people need to understand this because it really matters. We had a study that was published.

by the Competitive Enterprise Institute earlier this year that estimated that the average household in this country spends $16,000 per year in costs of regulation that were passed down to them from businesses. $16,000 a year. For a lot of people, that's another mortgage payment. I mean, so when we think about regulation and how insidious it is, and how expensive it is to the average consumer, we got to remember that we, the people, we the consumers, are the ones who are actually paying for regulation. Well, and this is, it's, so first off, it's, it's rent for someone. It's, it's the ability to afford rent or not afford rent. If $16,000 off the top is going to just feed regulation. All taxes and regulation on businesses is passed along to the consumer. It just is. And now you've got a Supreme Court that has said, that the executive branch not only can do whatever it wants to do vis-a-vis regulation, it can also do it on the fly, not publish it, not tell anyone, and then still hold them in compliance. At the same time, this court is also saying, we're going to blow up Act 10. We're going to blow up all of the rules. I mean, the Wisconsin Raines Act is probably on the chopping block with this left wing court, which allowed us to at least have some kind of legislative oversight of regulation in excess of a certain amount of dollars. You've got the district maps that have already been dynamited, the legislative district maps, you've got the congressional maps that are going to be up for grabs, you name it. Again, if the next governor now is going to have enormous authority doesn't wield that authority for good rather than ill, Wisconsin's going to become a tax and regulated hell to the point where we won't be able to afford to live here. Well, here's a great example, Vicky. There was a building code rule that the Evers administration wrote. And it would add significant expense for the cost of all new commercial buildings, which includes apartment complexes. And the legislature said, whoa, wait a minute, this is going to be really expensive. We already have a housing affordability problem. And you're going to take an affordability problem and make it worse with all of these new green energy, green New Deal type regulations in the building code. And so the legislature said, no, we're not going to do that. And they voted to stop it. Well, now the legislature can't vote to stop those types of rules, Dickey, because the Supreme Court said, you don't get to do that. Our elected representatives in government don't get a say anymore. The only people who get a say are the unelected bureaucrats and whatever they decide to dream up in their cubicles in downtown Madison will be the law of the land for Wisconsin. And if you don't like it, too bad because you can't get rid of them. You can't vote them out. They're not elected.

And they're all protected by civil service laws. So they basically have a job for life. And it's going to make things more expensive. I talked to a developer a couple weeks ago who said that they're doing an apartment development. And they said that this new building code, which is now taking effect this month today, actually yesterday it took effect. because of the Supreme Court decision, that's going to add several hundred thousand dollars onto the cost of their apartment development. And if you know anything about what rents are in Wisconsin these days, they're already much higher than many people can afford. And now we've got the bureaucrats in Madison who said, well, it's not expensive enough. We're going to do all of these feel good green new deal type building code changes and make rent even higher. And yes, the developer is going to bear the initial cost. of those regulations, Vicki. But the people who then rent after that apartment complex is built, they're the ones who are actually going to pay for it, and they're going to pay for it in the form of higher rent. Right on. Right now, the average rent in Madison's over $1,700 a month. It's around $1,700 a month in Milwaukee. That's the average rent. So now let's just make it more expensive. And on those building codes, and I've talked to people who work and build commercial buildings, the building codes were not They were not enhanced by people who know what they're talking about. They weren't enhanced by builders. They weren't enhanced by people who actually do this for a living. They were enhanced by people who had fealty to the Green New Deal or to net zero or do climate change ideology. They said, add an extra inch of insulation. It doesn't save anything, but it costs a lot more. Or you're going to have to have this type of air conditioning system. You're going to have to do these types of things to mitigate, you know, carbon off or, you know, carbon dioxide emissions, et cetera. It does absolutely nothing. And the developers will. pass that cost along. And that's just housing. But it's also going to be commercial development. It's going to be the next manufacturing facility. It'll be the next business park, whatever that might be. And that's only one thing. The Supreme Court said the governor gets to decide arbitrarily what those rules are going to be. I know that I mean, I know people in the building and development world too, and they are, they're just staring at their feet going, I don't know how we're going to ever. deal with these costs. Never mind the new codes are very confusing and difficult to comply with, but who cares, right? And that's just building. We're not even talking about the tax impact on Act 10 going away, Scott, or anything else like that. Well, we've got a 400-year veto that they upheld that's going to raise property taxes by $250 million a year for the next 400 years, and they stack on top of each other. So it'll be a billion dollars after four years.

And then we're going to get rid of Act 10, or it seems like we're going to get rid of Act 10, which saves property taxpayers about $2 billion each year. I mean, we're already in the top 10 in terms of the most expensive states for property taxes in the country. And now with this building code rule, we're going to make it more expensive to build things. And then with this veto and getting rid of Act 10, we're going to jack property taxes through the roof. So we're just going to make it expensive to ever build anything or live here in our state. And that's the type of thing that puts you into an economic death spiral. And if you don't believe me, look at what's going on in Illinois right now. And they're bleeding population because... People can't afford to live there. And people don't want to live there. And we can't let Wisconsin turn into Illinois. But this Supreme Court, Dickey, and the bureaucrats in the Evers administration, it's almost as if they've adopted the Illinois blueprint for Wisconsin. 100%. Or the Minnesota blueprint. Or the Minnesota blueprint minus iron mining, right? The Minnesota blueprint minus iron mining because they're actually still doing that in Minnesota for the time being. Right. Iowa is really close. And Iowa is positively welcoming to business at this point. Indiana's really close. And Indiana's welcoming to business. So here we are, Wisconsin. And for years and years, you and I've talked about this, we are the manufacturing epicenter of the Midwest. We're in the agriculture epicenter of the Midwest. You now have given unelected climate change bureaucrats the ability at will. to decide to regulate or, I mean, there's a case right now in Wisconsin dairy farmers. It's all about climate change and Josh Call hiring an environmental lawyer from New York University to try to put our dairy farmers on the chopping block. That's going to be a case that's going to go before the Wisconsin Supreme Court. My guess is they're going to be on the side of the climate change activists. So, you know, we used to be a place that would be able to honestly say, don't go to Iowa. come to Wisconsin. We have a great regulatory climate. We have a great tax climate when Governor Walker was here. We can't say that any longer because the two things that went different that are different now, our Supreme Court is controlled by a bunch of offals, affluent white liberal women, who apparently hate everything that is prosperity. And we have a governor that is disinterested in doing anything. for the benefit of the majority of the people and what we need. So again, Scott, we need to hang on to that seat that Rebecca Bradley is not going to be running for. And we need a governor who will promise to use the authority that the Supreme Court has given the governor's office with the same zeal on behalf of us that Tony Evers uses it on behalf of special interests.

Yeah, Vicky, three years ago when they apparently started taking crazy pills in Minnesota and Michigan and Illinois, I said all Wisconsin needs to do to be a shining beacon of greatness is to not screwed up. Just don't do crazy stuff. And we will be such an attractive place by comparison. And it looks like we decided to take the wrong path. Yeah. Because this, we elected a Supreme Court that says, I don't care about the rule of law. I only care about my liberal, progressive, you know, wish list and policy list. And I'm going to implement that from the bench. And that's what they've been doing ever since they took the court over in 2023. I would also say that the legislature needs to fight. The conservatives and the legislature need to fight. The surrender flag stuff. Put that flag away. Get out your Gadsden flag or your American flag because next, it's going to be the manufacturer agriculture tax credit. They have been gunning for that for 10 years. And if that goes away, Scott, you and I might as well just start looking at Tennessee. We might as well start looking at snowboarding somewhere. Well, that's where all the manufacturing jobs are going to go. I mean, if they get rid of the manufacturing tax credit, we are going to see a flight of middle-class manufacturing jobs leave this state that will make your head spin. It'll be so fast. Yeah, which is how awesome crime is and how terrible God is. We'll get to that in a sec. There's a thing now, and that is when congressmen try to meet their constituents via town halls or these listening sessions, whatever it's called from time to time, they're not allowed to speak. And you have a colleague who is targeted right now. Congressman Brian Stile, they are targeting him because they expect the Wisconsin Supreme Court to give them a whack at the congressional district maps. They expect that they can weaken Brian Stile in particular. Also, Derrick Van Orden, who experiences very similar things. When they go to their town hall meetings, people shout. And that's all it is. It is one long series of boomers behaving like toddlers throwing temper tantrums. I'm not sure why this is a strategy, but just, you know, sort of get your general comments. I know it's not just in Wisconsin this is happening. Well, right, all across the country. And for whatever reason, even more than President Trump's first term, maybe it's because he's more successful in his second term. They are just driven to distraction. And it's...

It's kind of amazing. I see it. It did some parades, a lot of parades in August. And, you know, you have from time to time bitter, angry people. Sure. So bitter, angry people taking over town halls. And then you cancel a town hall. And then the bitter and angry people say you won't listen to the people. That's what ends up happening. So, you know, you're basically, they're trying to get you stuck in a catch-22. Right. And like I said, I'm not sure why they are so much more upset now than in the past. Had somebody again last night just so mad, they get way carried away over this Medicaid thing, you know, that a handful of people are going to have to finally go to work to get their free health insurance. But they have themselves worked up into a ladder. I don't know what you can do about it. It's just the way they are. Angry people. Yeah, well, angry people. In a way, by the way, in a way that our people never get angry. You never see it from the other way. I've never seen our people this way. No, our people get snarky, smart alecky sometimes, but they don't shout you down. Ever, ever. So this is the Democrats, though. Don't speak. Don't speak. Because if you speak, you know, when you say things like, we're not taking away poor people's Medicaid. We're making people who are able-bodied go to work so that people who are not able-bodied and need Medicaid can get access to government-backed health care. You're not allowed to say that because that makes sense. And when people hear that... People agree with you. Yes, if you're able-bodied, you shouldn't be, you know, mooching off the federal government. You should be at least looking for work, which is, by the way, the requirement. So that's why you're not allowed to speak. But what I don't, you explain to me. This is your colleagues, foot soldiers. These are the Democrat colleagues in Congress. This is Mark Pocan, Gwen Moore. It's their foot soldiers. They're the ones dispatched to do this. I mean, are we still at a point where just not letting the other guys speak is going to be enough? That seems to be what they're defaulting to. I wonder if they're so upset because Donald Trump. has been so successful, right? He won more time, he had a success patrolling the streets in Washington, D.C. And I just think they cannot stand Donald Trump's success. And as a result, they just explode. Well, and Medicaid is tied directly to the immigration situation, which was also supposedly unsolvable, but for the Republicans making the immigration system worse with a bad piece of legislation, right? Medicaid is tied to that because illegal aliens were laying claim to Medicaid that was reserved for people in the United States, either mothers with children or disabled people, to have access to health care because they couldn't work.

So it's tied to that. You let someone actually talk about Medicaid as Robert F. Kennedy Jr.. has or the Republicans who are given enough time to talk about it. And it's tied to the immigration situation. Again, we're talking 75, 80 percent of Americans are going to agree with you. You talk about crime. I don't want you talking about crime, says the Democrats, because if you do, 75 to 80 percent of people agree with you. That's the problem, I think. Right. And they're going off the wheels and what happened in Minneapolis the other day. Another example of them getting all confused is to what the cause or what the cause these horrific murders were. And it bothers them because, of course, the cause is probably their number one sympathetic group that they feel is, I guess, the best part of their party. Yeah, that would be the them cult. I mean, there's another thing. This is what's absolutely amazing to me. And we can't get much more done, you know, than we have in Congress, given that this is your opposition. Your opposition who wants to induce people under drugs, who want to induce people into, you know, mutilating themselves or mutilating their children, people who cheer on violent crime, juvenile crime. illegal alien crime, open borders, the abuse of the entitlement system in the United States that's supposed to be for poor people by scam artists. You know, that's, that's, there's your, there's your platform. I'm trying to figure out how come we're not just dunking on these people left and right everywhere we go. Well, I think we have to just continue to point out. What their base is? What does the Democrat Party stand for today? They certainly stand for open borders. They still have this kind of anti-police thing going for them, kind of pro-crime, particularly if the criminal happens to be here illegally, then that's somebody they really look out for. And just wild support for this transgender stuff, which is... horribly unfortunate because they're given a number of people who go down this path kind of at the request of the Democrat surrogates and they wind up all incredibly unhappy as we saw last week. So then tell me what the status is of reconciliation 2.0. Tell me what the status is of that in the House right now, given this is the condition of your opposition. Now, I know in the Senate, there are people like Bill Cassidy and Susan Collins and that ilk who are looking at Reconciliation 2.0 is an opportunity for a giant grab bag. Let's spend more money. That's a good idea. Let's not get rid of any of this stuff. Let's not improve the situation for these massive... populations of manic, maniac people in the country. What is the house's approach to the second whack at this, especially as you're coming down the road where the CR expires again? We had better.

have reconciliation number two and reconciliation number three. Remember, so many things are not getting done around here because of the filibuster rule in the Senate. We have to say, sorry, I can't do this. We need 60 votes in the Senate. But there will be three opportunities in this two-year period to pass a bill with 50 votes in the Senate. We have already passed one, the big beautiful bill, which is not as beautiful as they say, they had better take advantage of the next two times. And there are some people around here don't want to do that, but I'll tell you, we have... 16 more months left to go in this biennium. And the Republicans had better not say, we are not going to take advantage of our opportunities to do something with 50 votes. And by the way, Vicki, in an underreported story, In 2017, when Donald Trump was president, we also had three opportunities to do something. We did two things. We did the tax cuts, and we tried to do something on health care. The third opportunity to do something with 50 votes, we passed on in 2017, 28. People don't remember that we had a chance to do it. Leadership wanted to pass on. So there is that element out here, and they'll say, well, we have to maintain the majority for doing wonderful things in 2027. I'll tell you. We're going to get another CR. We're going to get another CR, aren't we? Oh, but that's a little bit of a different thing. Yes, I think we're going to get a CR. Yeah, we're going to get another CR. Let me explain. It's not 16 months. That's your time frame that you have to do the legislation. You have less than 12 months because midterm elections are next year. So you have less than 12 months to do this. If you have two shots at reconciliation, one at the end of this year, and then two next year, and you don't use them. then what could be a wave republican election could be you barely hanging on to the majority, especially if they take apart the Wisconsin congressional maps, especially if they're able to somehow, you know, figure it out in time to try to take out Congressman Derrick Van Orden or Congressman Style. I think you're going to be okay in terms of what they will try to do to those maps. I mean, you've got less than 16 months to do this and to kind of get your proverbial, you know what, together. Is Mike Johnson ready?

for that fight, especially when we have the inevitable aggravating, make us all mad at Republicans see our battle that we are all going to pretend is going to result in a shutdown of government but won't? Well, if you're the leader, you know, you would better be prepared to get a bill teed up in the next few months and a bill that will pass, a conservative bill that will pass. We will find out, I think, this week where Mike Johnson stands on that situation, but people work awfully hard to get this as a majority, you know, all across the country to get the congressman to win this. And if we have a majority and don't take advantage of it, our base should literally explode. Our base will literally explode.
