My name is Sam Shane. I am in for John Colbilt. It's great to be here. Getting a lot of interesting feedback from listeners wondering who I am and having a lot of fun reading some of that so we can touch upon that a little bit later on. I also want to get into interesting audio that has surfaced. It's now online being posted by Wall Street Apes. And it's Xavier Becerra apparently, allegedly. During a meeting when he was a member of the Biden administration as the Secretary of Homeland Security, and during this meeting talks about illegal migrant children in an assembly line and then goes on to say in another clip that these are children who shouldn't even be here in America. So we're going to roll that out for you. I'm not sure what you make of it. We'll get reaction that exists. from Steve Hilton and Xavier Becerra camp, so we're going to get into that in a second. So if you have a child or a grandchild graduating from high school and ready to have to a University of California campus, one specific campus, they could take a class from former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Yep, she's making the transition. Announcement made today. Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will lend her name to a new institute at the University of California Berkeley. UC Berkeley after she retires from Congress. School made the announcement that they've already raised $35 million. They have a $50 million goal for the center to focus on democracy and public leadership. It will be called the Nancy Pelosi Institute for Representative Democracy or NPI. It will open in January 2027 when she leaves Congress. It will be a hub for research, teaching, and civic engagement, according to the university. They said in their release, which I saw earlier, that this is a nonpartisan institute. And I'm like, are you kidding me? You could just go ahead and take that out, UC Berkeley. It's highly partisan. UC Berkeley has just moved even further to the left. The Institute will allow Nancy Pelosi, the first California elected Speaker of the House, to co-teach a course on Congress. So there you go. Nancy Pelosi has a new job. She's going to be co-teaching. and running her institute, the Nancy Pelosi Institute for Representative Democracy or NPI. Okay, let's get into this leaked audio, leaked recording of Xavier Becerra. This is according to Wall Street Apes. They have posted it when he was Secretary of HHS under former President Biden. And at the time during this meeting, he's heard saying that he was putting illegal migrant children, quote, in an assembly line. And in this audio, Xavier Becerra is heard during a meeting saying that the American people will be upset knowing how much Democrats were spending on children who shouldn't even be here in America. And he was instructing his staff to place them as quickly as they can without...

proper checks. So we're going to roll two clips. First clip, you're going to hear him, Xavier Becerra, talking about the assembly line reference. If Henry Ford had seen this in his plan, he would have never become famous and rich. This is not the way he do an assembly line. Wow. This is not how you do an assembly line. Hmm, that's troubling. This is, next one's troubling too, the second clip in this recording. Heard saying that these children that he's talking about have no legal right to be in the U.S. Every time we have to go to the hill and explain why we're spending so much money. When most people are struggling to spend a little bit of money for their kids on a daily basis, we try to explain how we're spending more than $1,000 a day for kids who may not even have the legal right to be here. Not me. This could be a problem. I don't know how much of a problem in deep blue, big blue California it is, where Xavier Becerra seems to be able to dodge these types of things. He's living in a bubble, possibly. Possibly. I don't know. I do know this, that Republican Steve Hilton has already made a deal out of this. He's posted a video on Facebook already criticizing Bucera for these comments. We've heard nothing from the Xavier Becerra camp at all. Nothing. There's no reporting on it. There's nothing. Crickets. But if this is true, it could certainly pop up on a TV ad. We would expect that to happen. But whether it has any sort of collateral political damage, that's unknown. That's unknown. I mean, in my estimation, Xavier Becerra is a candidate who performed quite poorly in those debates. In every single one of them, I don't think that he had a strong debate. And there are still many questions about how it is that he was indeed the secretary of HHS when he had no background in the particular field. He was an attorney general. But we'll see. I don't know. I don't know. Some of the listener feedback has been pretty interesting. This one came in from someone who's... Listening to the program on the IHare Radio app, never heard of you before, but obviously you're a shill for the president. Even your own party doesn't believe that anyone vandalize the reflection pool. Well, I think there are people who do believe that, actually. Don't you think hiring a bad contractor is more likely the reason? I don't know. Here's what I do know. I don't know that a bad contractor could cause a gash that runs 350 feet. That's a big gash. And if that's just a bad contractor, that's a really bad contractor. And here's what else I know, that if you investigate this, we may find out. And see, that's the key to investigations overall. And it leads me to another topic on investigations. People are saying time and again, I hear this from listeners, well, there's no proof that there's voter corruption or fraud in California. There's no, well, no, of course there's no proof. Because it's not being investigated until now by the federal government. We've had an attorney general in Sacramento, Rob Bonta, who has been at the least reluctant to look into these allegations, at the very least. And you don't think that there are credible allegations? I mean, my goodness. How many independent camera crews have been on Skid Row in Los Angeles?

I'm going to get you a couple of pieces of new information that are out there. One of them has to do with Pride Night. A lot of sports teams like to do Pride Night. including the San Francisco Giants baseball team, and they have found themselves in a pretty difficult position because it has become quite the focus of news coverage for reasons that they probably would prefer not be covered. So we're going to get into that a little bit, and also we're going to hear from Dana White, head of UFC, one of the greatest sports organizations on the planet, by the way, one of the most popular, not interested in Pride Night. And he tells us why that is coming up. So maybe you're thinking about some place to move, right? I mean, you wouldn't be the only person in California who's at least thought about it. Some of those statistics, by the way, people who have just thought about moving out of California are pretty significant, not small. I wonder how that might change after November, depending on how things go. But there are options out there where they will pay you to go there. I'm going to give you some of those right now. There's a Wisconsin town. They've got a lighthouse. They're on the southern tip of Lake Winnebago, and they want you to move there, and they're offering you up to $9,500 to do it. Fondulac, they have a population of $44,000, and they have launched what they are calling New Talent Attraction Program. So Fondulac is currently in the midst of a workforce shortage. They need workers. They want young families. Yeah. They want it to be part of the big program. So other locations that are listed as part of this Make My Move program. That's what the whole initiative is called, Make My Move. Are Bloomington, Indiana, Salina, Kansas, Texarkana, Texas. I've always liked the name of Texarkana.

We'll play the clip. This is what he told Outkick. And then after the clip, we'll talk a little bit about what has happened to those organizations, those businesses that have. But here's what he told Outkick. I'm assuming we have some gay fighters. I don't know how many of them are openly. I know that we have gay female fighters. I don't give you I don't care what you are, who you are, what you do. You know, that says we don't talk about that or. any of that stuff it's not like that we haven't um supported the gay community in the past um you know we just don't we don't shove any of that stuff down anybody's throats you know when we do what we do we do it we do it because we want to do it we do it because we should do it we don't do it because we want to impress anybody or make you know uh How about you just be honest and real about who you are and what you are as a company? How about that? How about that? Just do business. You know, there are just places where people want to go and get entertained. They want to be at a ballpark or in a movie theater or in a live theater, you know, anywhere, any location that you can name off the top of your head where you just want to go and get away from it. That's the whole purpose, get away from it. that politics does not need to be injected in everything. Sometimes people just want to go be and just have fun. I mean, you know, we talked a little bit about the World Cup earlier on in its popularity, breaking all sorts of attendance records. It's just smashing them. How wildly popular this, and the TV ratings are good, too. And there's a reason for that, I believe. And I was talking to my son about that, about how it brings people together. And I was mentioning that earlier in the program, you know. It really does. It has this unifying effect. And part of it, I think, is that non-political nature. Yes, there are, of course, we're going to talk a little bit about politics. I mean, it's the world, right? And U.S. and Iran, the potential that they could play each other and all of that. I understand all of it. But, you know, there's just a time and a place where people are exhausted.

And they just need to break. They need a break. That's all. That's all. And he identifies that. Dana White identifies that. I thought that was an interesting clip. The guy that wants your credentials? Well, I don't know about that. I want to know your shoe size. What sign are you? Do you recycle? Do you have a nickname? What's your middle name? Do you have kids? Yeah. Credentials. What the heck is that guy talking about? Like, who is he to even ask you that? Good Lord. Well, he's got a right to ask. I mean, let's be honest. I mean, have you not tuned into some cable news outlet or some sort of news outlet and looked at someone or heard someone and think to yourself, how is this person doing that? What makes them qualified to do this? It's a valid question, I think. You know, I'd kind of like to know. I mean, I know that I've personally done that in the past, that there have been people that I've watched or I've listened to, and I'm like, I don't know. I wonder what. what it was like for them before they did this and why they did this that allowed them to be qualified for this job. Another listener, we were talking a little bit about federal buildings, federal property being destroyed. I agree with you. What a shame what people do to federal buildings. Should we talk about January 6th at the White House? Well, there's a lot of examples. A lot of examples. We go to Portland, Oregon. We can go to a number of cities where statutes have been turned over. You know, it's too bad that people do this to our country. A country, by the way, when you talk about all the foreigners coming here to watch the World Cup, how impressed they are with America. They really are. I mean, some of the reporting on all of this has really been pretty spectacular. Like, you know, what we've been hearing about the U.S., I don't know where that comes from, because this is a really pretty cool place. And we really like your ranch dressing. Have you seen that? An interesting clip from Bill O'Saley. He is a U.S. Attorney in Southern California talking a little bit about the mistrial declared in the Palisades' arson case and what's next, where they're going to go and why. And we're getting some feedback from people saying that there's one drawback to this offer from the people in Wisconsin and Fondola, Wisconsin, who are offering you $9,500 to move there. And I'll play that for you in a little bit. And as someone who grew up in the Midwest, by the way, I can attest to what this listener had to say. This is an interesting statistic and a bit troubling and maybe not all that surprising. More Americans under 35 living with their parents. But it's not because they don't have jobs. According to a new realtor.com analysis on roughly one in three young adults, a record 25 million, were living at home in 2025. It was actually ticking down from the peak during the pandemic. The share of 18 to 34-year-olds living with their parents has actually climbed back to 33%, up six percentage points over the past two decades. Housing costs have surged in recent years. In 2025, the median home listing price, $430,000 up 34% from 2019. Oh boy, if it were only that here in California, right? And you hear that number, you're like, where? The median asking rent, $1,673 up nearly 18%. So it's not because they don't have jobs. I mean, can you think about that for just one second? How about that? Yeah, I've got a job. No, I can't afford a rent or B mortgage. But that's the reality in America today, according to Realtor.com and the analysis that they've done. So that may not come as a surprise to you. We're going to get to some listener feedback in just a little bit. But I do want to roll out this clip from U.S. Attorney Belisaly. on the mistrial, which was declared in the Palestine's arson case. And he says, yeah, we plan on refiling charges for a really pretty obvious reason to us. This is what he told Fox News. We've laid out the case during trial. The evidence is strong that he's the only person who was present at the location where this fire was ignited. Look, this isn't some theory. ATF spent months studying the origin and caused this fire. It was started by an open flame at that exact location on January 1, 2025. He was there. His cell phone puts him there. He admits he was there and he had the motive the means and the opportunity and he started this fire we're convinced I think people are conflating his culpability as an arsonist with how liable the city may be for how they responded both things can be true and one has nothing to do with the other he needs to be held accountable Otherwise you're gonna give the guy who started the worst fire in the city of Los Angeles a free pass conflating or confusing

the city's liability in not putting out the fire adequately and his culpability, which he's accused of as the prime suspect. Those two things don't necessarily, shouldn't necessarily be tied together. And maybe they were by this past jury. At least that's what Bill Assaley is saying. So they're moving forward. Time frame to be determined. So that's going to be another one, another big case, another big trial. And we'll see how they change their tactics. They're going to have to obviously change their tactics. But it sounds as though one of the primary objectives going into it is the proper selection in their estimation of an adequate jury that's going to look at this in a fair fashion. Let's play this for you quickly. And then I want to get into the sales tax going up again in LA County. I mean, really. and what a number of economic experts are predicting as a result, what could happen. Yeah, yeah, and he's having a good time talking about that. He's absolutely right. I'm someone I grew up in Minnesota and I know Wisconsin quite well. In fact, I've been through Fondalak. It's a beautiful country. I mean, it's absolutely gorgeous. Spring, summer, fall. But those winters, I'm here to tell you, my friends. I have friends now who are like down out of Minnesota. They had to leave. I can't handle these winters anymore. It was great growing up. You grow up in that climate. And yes, it's cold, but boy, the snow is fun to play in. And it doesn't bother you. But as you get older, it just becomes more and more of a chore to live there. It's an option. It's a beautiful place to live, and there are wonderful people. And I think that a number of folks who have left California have found that that is the case in a lot of places in America. Yeah. L.A. County, and the vote to raise the sales tax increase, measure ER, passed by more than 25,000 votes, set to increase sales taxes by half a cent.

to raise a billion dollars annually they say for hospitals local health departments and low-income residents needing assurance they say the reason i say that is because when they promised us that the sales tax or the additional sales tax on gasoline in California would go to fix the roads. I don't know about the roads where you drive. I'm not seeing so much of that. But nevertheless, they do tell us they do make these promises when they raise our taxes. California already has the highest sales tax in the nation. And when the county and local taxes are included, consumers will be paying close to 12% sales tax in some areas of Los Angeles. 12%. That is astonishing, isn't it? And Aidan Chow of the Los Angeles County Taxpayers Association is weighing in on all of this, and he says, people are going to travel across county lines now to purchase items. When you're sitting at 12% sales tax up in Lancaster, 11.7% in Lancaster and Palmdale, you're going to jump across the border to Orange County, and you're going to save 3%. Yeah, yeah, you are. That's pretty straightforward, is it not? Yeah. It gets back to the billionaire's tax. You know, it's all full circle. It doesn't matter how much money you're making. Money goes where it's best treated. Doesn't matter. Making $30,000, and you're making a billion. Interesting clip from Senator John Fetterman. I've found him in the last 12 to 36 months to be one of the more introspective. characters in the Democrat Party really taking a hard look at what has happened to his party he's not necessarily on board and there are members of his party who are necessarily very fond of him there's talk they're going to primary him in Pennsylvania but he talks about the lack of patriotism in his party And we're going to roll out that clip for you in the not too distant future. Headline, Gavin Newsom rewards Jim DeBoo with a $60,000 state gig, cronyism at its best. I'm going to just read a couple of graphs from this article, which kind of show you how it works in Sacramento, California, boy. Governor Gavin Newsom is giving one of his most trusted political soldiers a cushy taxpayer-funded appointment as he nears the end of his tenure leading California, reviving accusations of cronyism. Maybe one of his lasting legacies of the governorship writes the California Post, by the way. Gavin Newsom has tapped his political strategist and former chief of staff Jim DeBoo for a seat on the Central Valley Food Flood Protection Board, a job that pays nearly $60,000 for monthly board meetings. 60 grand to go to a meeting once a month? Dubu, who founded Dubu's Strategic Affairs in 2023, appears to have little obvious experience for the role, and his status for the job is pending confirmation by the state Senate, which, by the way, we're getting reaction from the Senate later on in this article, and it's pretty interesting. The pick drew fire from state Republicans, who called it another example of Gavin Newsom, who is the subject of a federal investigation of going. A line or two in, and definitely if I start playing. It really has. I don't know what hasn't become partisan. You'd be hard pressed to find anything in this country that hasn't become partisan. So John Fetterman, the Democrat, the senator from Pennsylvania may very well be primaried in Pennsylvania by Democrats because they're none too happy with him. Speaking of someone who is falling out of favor with members of their own party, let's go to the other party, the Republicans said. Senator John Thune, I've not brought this up, and this is such a relevant topic, it was making headlines late last week. Senator John Thune, the majority leader, who is obstructing everything and anything that he can do he is throwing at. to stop the Save America Act from getting to the floor of the U.S. Senate. Do you know who is in South Dakota? Yes, Senator John Thune. He's there because there's yet another recess with the U.S. Senate in Washington, D.C. So he goes back home, goes to an event and guess who shows up? Scott Pressler. You know Scott Pressler is? Scott Presser's an interesting guy. Longhere. He was in Pennsylvania prior to the 2024 election. There are many people. who say that he was very instrumental in moving Pennsylvania into the Republican side, into the red side. He has been an activist and organizer for Republicans, not only in Pennsylvania, but then he took his act on the road to other states like New Jersey, I believe. And now he's come out, and he has said, I am going to South Dakota. And he made the announcement about a week and a half ago. And he said, I'm going to try to find somebody to primary Senator John Thune. So he showed up in an event where John Thune was late last week. They wouldn't let him in. He had a ticket. They wouldn't let him in. No. That's going to get interesting, folks. That's going to get very interesting. Senator John Thune's career could be very much in jeopardy based on this. In my estimation, we could be watching it unwind because the base is not letting go on that topic. That is still wildly popular in Washington, D.C. And I think John Thune and others in the deep state on the Republican side and Democrats side, I thought this might go away because so often it does. We got a listener. I want to play one more clip very quickly. You mentioned something along the lines of, why can corporations and businesses just be? That's the problem. The LGBTQ plus community would love to just be too. But when a company or someone posts something as simple as happy pride, look at the comment section. It immediately fills up with hate and outrage. It shows that we're not there yet. That's the reason why we still celebrate pride because people are still being judged for existing. I don't disagree with that. I think that there are a lot of elements that come into play on that. Very much so. But I also think that it's a reality, and we heard it a little bit from Dana White. A lot of Americans just want to escape for a while from everything. But I understand his point. That's not lost on me.
