We've got showers, maybe some thunderstorms today. Like they're saying it's 100% chance we will see rain at some point during the day for most of the L.A. area. And then we get a break tomorrow. So we'll be sunny tomorrow. And then another storm comes in Thursday. That's great. And that's going to last. How many age? Just a couple days. It should be dry for the weekend. All right. So for next weekend, we're in pretty good shape. But Thanksgiving, well, no, it's this week. So for Thanksgiving, we should be okay. Well, we don't know yet. It's too soon. Well, we don't know. But there are no storms of brewing out in the Pacific that. are scheduled to come in during that time, I'm assuming. So anyway, and then I will ask the same question of, I think of the rest of you, Will and Ann and just all of you, because I think there is some dickiosity amongst all of us. Oh, really? That's a new word. Think Will and Amy have an edge to them, do you? A little bit of an edge. I think so. Yeah. If you really search, if the Internet, if AI is that good. And, Amy, you've been here for literally how long? At the station or? At the station? At the station. At the station. So we know who you are. I have 12, 13 years. Okay. And then prior to that, because remember, the AI can search your entire, entire broadcast history. Well, then I was hosting morning shows in other markets. Okay, I mean, but certainly the computer, you know, the artificial intelligence can search through that. Plus, I don't know, Ann, can it look at techs? Your private texts? I don't think you can. No, no, no. Although they can start, although, you know, I bet it can because. But not in real time. I mean, yeah, when the, you know, the FBI, they can go through and they subpoenaed texts and they'll go through years of text to find out, did you make a terrorist threat? And, um.

So anyway, there's a few texts that I have gone where the response is, what are you wearing, Sailor? Okay. You guys ready to do it? Yes. It is. We were born ready, sir. Yes, you were. Absolutely born ready. Okay, let's do it, guys. It is time for Handel on the News with Amy, Neil and me on this Tuesday morning lead story. Jeffrey, Jeffrey, Jeffrey, Jeffrey. Jeffrey, Jeffrey. Okay. Oh, this is so much fun. Now, the Republican-controlled House of Representatives is expected to vote today on that measure that would force the Justice Department to release the records pertaining to Jeffrey Epstein. Interesting set of circumstances here. Originally, the president has been fighting this like crazy, and of course, all the Republicans fell right in line with that, except there were a few, and it was mounting... saying, you know what, this is not, there's a line that was crossed here. We will follow Donald Trump to our death. But when it comes to covering up pedophiles or potentially covering up pedophiles, that line will not be crossed. And the president realized that. And so now Mike Johnson, who insisted on never bringing that, would never have the vote, would never go against the president. Now he is in favor of releasing the file. And the whole issue of having said no for months has disappeared. It's as if it never happened. Well, he kind of flopped. Wasn't he didn't when he was running? Wasn't he? like we are going to release it in day one. Oh, yeah, because the Democrats had it. And the one thing the Republicans have, and it's a good question. Why? If there are anti-Trump and anti-Republican references to the Epstein trial, why didn't the just, why didn't the Biden Justice Department release those? Because probably just as many Democrats are being named as Republicans is my guess. This may close down Washington. Oh, no, it's not going to close down. Everything, like a house of cards. No, and then. And the president realized he was probably going to lose this vote. So he turned around and said, oh, if now telling Republicans vote, vote on it. I want you to vote to release it. And then the Senate. And he says, and then he hasn't even committed to signing it. He says, I think I will. Do you know that he can make one phone call and the files are released within 10 minutes? And if he's in favor of releasing the files. What? Then why vote? Exactly. Exactly. Why vote?

because he wants to not make the decision himself to release those files and put Republicans in a bad light. And so the blame can be spread. Well, the Congress wanted it. The Senate wanted it. And I'm just agreeing with them as opposed to calling them up and saying, you will not vote in favor of this. I don't care what you think. Which was the case until he reversed himself. How do we know nothing's been redacted? That's the other issue. It probably will be redacted. Well, yeah, it will be. And here's what, and here's what, and here's what going to happen is the vote for the files will be made. The president will sign. However, Pam Bondi will open up an investigation of Democrats who are listed on there and will then say we can't release all the files because there's an active investigation going on. There isn't now, but there will be an active investigation going on as soon as the vote takes place and the files are determined to be released. It is a cluster truck, this whole thing. But the bottom line is, and no Republican is going to be able to run having voted no on releasing those Epstein files. Because the accusation that's going to be both in the primary. against another Republican and in the generals, why did you vote to protect a pedophile? We're not talking about Trump necessarily, but why did you vote to protect pedophiles that Jeffrey Epstein names? How do you answer that? You can't. Therefore, the files will be released. I mean, it is, the politics of this are just insane. And you won't see President Trump who wants the files release to make the phone call to release the files. All right, let's do one more and we'll take our break. I'd like to an order of F-35s with a side of fries, please. President Trump says the U.S. will sell advanced F-35 fighter jets to Saudi Arabia. There are concerns with this because some are saying that it could erode Israel's military advantage in the Middle East and then reduce the amount of leverage that Washington has to encourage Saudi Arabia and Israel to normalize their relationship. Yeah, this gets interesting because the F-35 is the most advanced fighter jet that exists on the planet. It is a top, top secret. The U.S. keeps it very close to the vest. Israel has them. I don't know what other countries do have them. There may be other countries, allied countries, that have them. Amy, do you know? I was listening to us information about this when I got word about it, and I think it's only Israel, at least in the Middle East. Yeah, and that makes sense. And to give it to Saudi Arabia is Israel's going nuts, of course, because Israel has the advantage militarily across the entire Middle East. Now, the other side is Saudi Arabia was about to normalize relationships with Israel. Israel is a lot closer to Saudi Arabia in terms of politics and in terms of just surviving in the Middle East. The real enemy is Iran.

And so you're going to see Saudi Arabian Israel, I believe, normalized relationships, much like Jim Jordan has, like the Emirates have, like Egypt has. And I think you're going to see other countries too. All right. Addendum. Yeah, we've sold them to like everybody, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Greece, Belgium, Canada, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Singapore, South Korea. All allies, all allies, strong allies. And Saudi Arabia, not necessarily an ally because it aligns itself with the Palestinian cause, for example, big time, or at least lip service-wise. All right, David Richardson, if you remember, he was the acting head of the federal emergency management agency, aka FEMA. For a short amount of time, he resigned yesterday. So about six months or so was the acting head of the disaster response agency for the U.S. But apparently he's not easy to get a hold of. And that's a huge complaint. I mean, you think a disaster relief. Especially during hurricanes and during natural disasters. Back in July, when there were massive issues, I guess he was hard to find. And staffers and others that were interviewed are like, hey, you know. We couldn't get a hold of him. And he wasn't, he didn't come to meetings apparently and all this. So a lot of controversy surrounding him. And apparently he resigned yesterday. So the controversy. Yeah, what a piece of work he was. And when he did show up, he'd be in a cowboy hat and cowboy boots. I mean, just, come on, guy. Really? So, uh, another head of FEMA, uh, disappears. What's your home worth? Not as much as it was. Home values are falling in more than half of the U.S. As of October, 53% of homes in the country had lost value in the past year. That's according to Zillow. Home prices are falling in much of the southeast and also parts of the west. They are still rising in some cities in the Midwest and the northeast. Why? A lot of would-be homebu buyers have remained on the sidelines because of economic uncertainty and mortgage rates. sticking around 6%. How are we doing in Southern California? I think we're probably flat because I haven't seen home prices go up the way they did last year. Do we have any idea? I have no idea. We did a story like two weeks ago and I don't remember the percentage. I mean, they've dropped just a tiny bit, but not a lot. All right. Fair enough. I'm just curious. But I did notice that there's somebody on my street who's had their house for sale, and it's been for sale for a really long time. Remember when they would go up and they'd be gone immediately? Not anymore. And my neighbor, two doors down, has had her home for almost the entire time that I've been living here. And at a reasonable price, not asking crazy money, couldn't sell it.

decided not to sell the house. Once you moved in, buddy. Yeah, exactly. And then the house across the street and then down the street, there were like four or five homes that were for sale in my neighborhood, all at reasonable prices. They all went. So I don't know why the house didn't go down the street. All right, the Justice Department is, you know, going after James Comey, as we know. And now you've got a judge stepping in and saying, you know what, there's in their words, not mine, disturbing pattern of profound investigative missteps. very specific and very stern. So this federal judge ruled Monday in directing prosecutors to provide defense lawyers with all grand jury material from the case. Which is that? Very unusual. Yeah, I was going to say that seems a little unusual. But it's, it looks like that the grand jury indictment and the evidence presented was so, so sketchy. that the lead prosecutor who was there, the U.S. attorney that was there dropped out. He said, I'm not going to do it. There's no evidence. And so he was fired. And then another one was put in who had never had prosecutorial experience that was assigned to be the U.S. attorney for that district. And she's going forward on it. Now I want to point something out. And that is... James Comey and Letitia James and of course John Bolton have all been indicted and are all going to be put up for trial because of the horrors that they had done. For example, Letitia James is James Comey having lied to Congress. One witness says he lied. He says no, but let's believe the one guy who said he did. Okay, fair enough. Tom Homan, who is head of ice. It is reported that the FBI has video of him accepting a $50,000 cash bribe. Video. Kristi Noem said we've investigated it and there's not enough evidence to go forward with Tom Homan. Life is wonderful, isn't it? Craziness is going on. Insanity is going on. And, of course, the insanity of the politics that are happening. All right. Well, if you don't want to be fat anymore, you can get your weight loss drugs for cheaper. The maker of Wagovi and Ozempic have cut prices for most of these medications, 349 a month. down from $499 a month. That's according to Novo Nordisk. So Wigovi and Ozempik drop in their prices. For new customers, Novo Nordisk is going to sell the 0.25 milligram and the 0.5 milligram versions of Wiggovi and Osempec for $199 a month for the first two months. Apparently, they're doing this in response to Trump administration pressure and also Eli Lilly.

potentially slashing prices for the weight loss drugs. Yeah, this is this is Trump. You have to give him credit for this. He's done more than any other president to really, president to really put pressure on big pharma in a big way. And so good news, good news. A lot of fat people in this country. I mean a whole lot of fat people. I'm going to get rid of the faties. Yeah, I don't want to make too many accusations here. Neil. Well, Bill, I'm very excited. And I'm going to have a snack. Yeah. All right, Walgreens. You know, you got to figure sometimes you go forward and sometimes you go backwards. And I'm telling you, companies are going to start going backwards. Walgreens, who's had some issues back in 2024, they planned to close about 1,200 underperforming stores. Well, now they're no longer going to give most of their workers paid vacation time for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and other major holidays, six of them. to be exact. And this is just after being bought by a private equity company for $10 billion. Yeah, they want to cut expenses. How many companies do not give Thanksgiving or Christmas Day off as a paid vacation? It's probably very rare, but I'm telling you, major, major companies. Yeah. Our company. We don't get a paid Thanksgiving or... Yeah, we do. Of course we do. Amy, just not you. Just not me. Yeah, maybe you ought to look into that. Yeah, you do. No. What do I mean? No. I think that might be changing with the new contract or something, but... Oh, no. The union, yeah, it is changing. Under union, I think under the union contract, I think they have to. The new one. The new one that goes into effect next year. Yeah, but I've been here for like 12 years. I don't even, I don't even think we have a contract. KFI has a contract with the union. Yeah, we do. We got a new one this year. Oh, they signed it this year. There was no contract for 10 years, 12 years. Well, we had a contract. It was just the old contract that expired. It lapsed. But it lapsed for a decade. But we were going off the terms of those contracts. Yeah, we were. Anyway, I know that's not that exciting to you. Okay, I didn't know that. That's, wow. You know, I tend not to bad mouth, eye heart. But that one is a tough one, not giving Thanksgiving and Christmas. What are you going to do? Shut down the radio station? No, but you get people that are willing, no, you get people that are willing to work and you pay them big money, vacation pay. No? No. Okay. Well, congratulations. Neil, you're here Thanksgiving and the day after. Me too. Yes, sir. And you too and no extra money, right? Correct. Oh, wow. I don't think so. What? I don't know. Time and a half. Yeah, that's true. If you're on contract, all right, let's just move on. The UN backs President Trump's peace plan.

The UN Security Council endorsed proposals put forward by President Trump, that 20-point plan for a lasting peace in Gaza. It includes the deployment of an international stabilization force and a possible plan to a Palestinian state. The vote was 13 to nothing with abstentions by China and Russia. Hamas came out and said, well, we don't support it. And Israel said, Palestinian state, what are you talking about? Yeah, now under Benjamin Netanyahu, that'll never happen. And again, you have to give Trump credit for this. It was his pressure that put this together. I don't think it would have happened without him. Well, and here's, I was talking to Jordana Miller, too, about this, because it's going to take a long time. There's lots of conditions and stuff if they do this. And she said, even if Benjamin Netanyahu is against a Palestinian state. He's probably not going to be in power by the time this all plays out. You're absolutely right. And so they're putting, of course, they're calling it the Trump peace plan naturally. And it's no longer the Islamic world. It's the Trump Islamic world. Hmm. All right. Bringing back an oldie but a goodie. You got health officials this week looking around and seeing that measles outbreak that began in Texas and another in Utah and Arizona, finding that this could end our status here in the United States as a nation that has eliminated measles. So you've got this train of transmission since January going, bump, bump, bump, Texas, Oklahoma, now New Mexico. So we're going backwards. Yeah, well, those pesky vaccines got in the way of the disease being spread. Now, it's the Mennonites. This is not, you know, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. craziness. This is, Mennonites have never allowed vaccinations. But the problem is herd immunity. is basically gone because so many people do not get vaccines. Kids do not get vaccines anymore. The spread goes. When there's herd immunity, it's just going to stop. Few, few people getting vaccines, it doesn't spread. More and more people not getting vaccines. Well, this is what you're looking at. More flights to Mexico, apparently. Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum. It says that Mexican Airlines has agreed to hand over some flight slots to the nation's busy Capitol airport to U.S. carriers. This is happening during an ongoing spat between the U.S. and Mexico over flight distribution. She didn't say how many slots were being given up, but they will be. It comes as the U.S. Department of Transportation is cracked down on Mexican airline operations in the U.S. in recent months. Other than involuntary flights to Mexico that the U.S. government provides for certain people that are picked up, who wants to go to Mexico? It's a great place to vacation. It's a great place to die. Oh, yeah. Okay, moving on.

Tokyo, speaking of dying, they don't want Karoshi, which translates to death from overwork. Tokyo officials are looking over all the details of this stuff as people are fighting for a four-day work week, not just, oh, we want some time to relax, but apparently to erase the nation's notoriously punishing work culture. They're trying to find ways to balance everything out because you've got... you know, birth rates down, all these different things that are emanating from having, you know, burnout and all these things that are caused by overworking there. And four-day work week is looking like the answer. Look at the cultural difference between Tokyo or Japan, where they work like animals. They work so hard. And then you have France. Where you wake up, you go to work at 10 o'clock, you have lunch from 12 to 2, and then you leave at 4 o'clock, and let's not forget, a month's vacation by law that you start at. Ah, those French. But they have to do their art. I know. They too. Uh, yes. California is not the only one suing. You know, the California has filed dozens of lawsuits against Trump administration. Well, now this time the Trump administration is filing a lawsuit against California. And it's new law that bans federal agents from wearing masks. It also, and also requiring them to have ID while they do ice operations. The government has argued that the laws threaten the safety of officers who are facing what they call unprecedented harassment, doxing, and violence during these ICE immigration raids. The laws are called the no secret police and no vigilante laws. California is the first in the country to do it. Yeah, and both sides have a point. Because life is so polarized that you go after either side and the threats just happen. So if you have the, what is it, the people that have dealt with the police, if they could, if they can, many of them publish the addresses of the policeman's homes after recognizing them with facial recognition software. You can do whatever. And at the same time. Don't you want to know if you want to go after someone who is acting out when arresting someone, acting inappropriately? So I don't know where the answer is on that one.

All right. The good news is that American Social Security cost of living increase is going to pop up next year. The bad news is for older Americans, it's going to be consumed by Medicare costs. Yeah, it gets pretty expensive this medical care in the States. So there you go. Okay, not much more to say. How about prices at the post office are going up? But the good news is they don't go up until after the holidays. The Postal Service says that shipping prices are going to go up starting in February, I believe. But the mail, the stamp prices for just the basic stamp. Those are staying the same. Well, when you look at this is shipping, when you look at UPS, when you look at FedEx, both are fabulously profitable organizations. The Postal Service, which also ships and does letters, is losing money. And that's because the Postal Service delivers to every single address in the United States. They even have mules that deliver down into the Grand Canyon. And there are places that are only available to get to by snowmobiles and airplanes, barges. People complain about them. But I got to tell you, the United States Postal Service is still one of the best deals on the planet when you think about. what you get for your money. Absolutely. And it's, uh, it doesn't get any tax dollars. It makes it all, uh, with, uh, stamps and services and, uh, although they should charge more for the junk mail, although how do you determine what junk mail is? I have no idea who makes that decision. But 90% of the mail that I get, uh, is crap. Pure crap. In the sense that they're all coupons and... Charities. Real estate people. I mean, how long has it been? It's been, what, a year and a half since I bought my house? I'm still getting stuff from real estate agents. Hey, if you're thinking of selling your house, here I am. I get half a dozen of those a week. Okay, we are done. Coming up, the O.J. Simpson case is still alive. And what an agreement the estate has made with the Goldman family.
