Near Washington, former Trump administration national security advisor John Bolton pleaded guilty to illegally retaining classified information, sealing a deal with federal prosecutors that could allow him to avoid prison time. It can expose sensitive sources and methods, and it can jeopardize the success of our covert missions. became an outspoken critic of President Trump after serving in the first administration. The president called John Bolton a crazy war monger who would have led the country into World War Six. A cyber actor believed to be associated with the Islamic Republic of Iran hacked Mr. John Bolton's personal email account and gained unauthorized access to some of the classified and national defense information in that account.
