So the same act is not going to pass. So the Save Act is not going to pass. This is about voter ID when you register. It's about knowing who is voting. This is about eliminating to the best of our ability, the possibility of fraud. And the left is vehemently opposed to this. Tony Katz 93, WIBC, good morning, good to be with you. Time and time and time and time again. What the left favors is, well, the opportunity for fraud. And every argument made about the Save Act is laughable. and remarkably ignorant that it's going to keep people from voting, that they're not smart enough to be able to get an ID, not able to change some paperwork. It's laughable. Someone changes their name. It's okay to say, well, when you register to vote, you got to go with that new name. It's laughable where they are at in their arguments. It's sad that Lisa Murkowski, Republican Alaska, is with them. It's time for Lisa Murkowski to go. You've got to go. We have seen the future, and it is not her. There's just no reason, no place for this level of weakness. And the argument that in rural Alaska, somehow this is also impossible, falls flat. It does indeed fall flat. You could argue that she may have a more legitimate concern. But the concern does not at all change the need. The most rational need there is. You show an ID when you register. Show an ID when you vote. She doesn't have it. But this thing will go to a vote. And Republicans, as they are debating this on the Senate floor, have to be clear that Democrats don't care about Americans at all. They care about power. Now, you think this is because I'm saying it. Oh, Tony, you're so biased. Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. This isn't about me in the slightest. This is about Senator Jeff Merkley of Oregon saying the not-so-quiet part very out loud. This bill is about stopping groups from voting who tend to vote for Democrats. That is correct. That group is illegal immigrants. That group is fraudsters.

Now, if you also want to call them Democrat voters, well, I appreciate the honesty. There it is. What are we doing? We're going to pretend that isn't the case? It's the only case, and he knows it. He's good with it. The argument that it stops women and people of color, is that the expression we use? It's so, I find it wholly offensive. That it's going to stop these people from voting. That is Democrats making the argument that black people, brown people, and women are too dumb to be able to get an ID. I don't know why Democrats are okay with saying that. I don't know why people accept it. Here he is. Senator Merckley of Oregon calling you dumb. Too stupid to get an ID. And what? We're supposed to just shake our heads and nod along in agreement? That's absolutely right. That's embarrassing. That's embarrassing. Goodness gracious. But it's not going to pass. It's not going to pass. There'll be no removal of the filibuster. But you get people on the record. And now let's see if Republicans are smart enough to use this to try and get some kind of victory in the midterms. Spoiler alert. It's possible, though, that maybe, just maybe, if your entire campaign... is dedicated to hating America and then, oh, for good measure, Israel. And like, if that's your campaign, maybe it doesn't resonate where people live and breathe, which would give me a lot of hope for America's future. Maybe some things worth a rethink. You got Jan Kikowsky, who is retiring. Daniel Bliss, the mayor of Evanston, winning that Democratic primary. But one of the people in that primary is a woman by name of Kat. I have a very hard time with the last name. I've never actually heard it pronounced before. Is it Abba Ghazala? Content creator? Well, she's very angry. She's very, very angry. In her concession, it was F. Trump, F. Ice Free Palestine, which, of course, is a mantra that clearly you say when you have nothing else to say. You don't even know what it means. But we'll get to that story. The big one is the U.S. is now dropping bunker busters on underground missile sites near the Strait of Hormuz. When we talk about oil being blocked around the strait, This area that connects the Persian Gulf to the Gulf of Oman being able to then get the oil out and distributed where it goes. From Saudi Arabia, from Iraq, from other countries, from Iran even. And you have the strait blocked off. It isn't so much stopped by ships or anything else. The Iranians allegedly have put mines into the water, but none of them have gone off. It has been ships unwilling to travel the strait. for fear of attack from the Iranians. NATO nations to Trump's chagrin have not been willing to come help. Then Trump said, we don't need your help, which is the way I always thought that was going to go. Nations don't want to be seen as being dragged into something. They don't want to be seen as being told what to do by Trump. They still have their own constituencies to deal with.

There's still people out there who are amazed that these other countries aren't jumping to say, hey, whatever you need, hey, whatever you want. They know the U.S. will take care of it. They don't have to spend a dime. They don't have to waste any treasure. They don't have to spill any blood. And no one asked them to begin with. They weren't asked for the glory part. They don't want to be part of the grunt work part. We're just talking about human nature here, nothing more, nothing less. Whether it's a good idea or a bad idea we can discuss later. But it is not surprising that they're saying at the first, we can't be seen as just doing whatever the U.S. wants us to do. That's crazy. They did this thing. It's on them. They didn't consult us. We don't get to be part of some freeing the world story here. Where Johnny Come Lately, no, no, it's not who we are. Just telling you how they act. how they engage and it's not an insane thought to think that they would. But the Strait of Hormuz and they're blocking and the oil can't get through, the number is 27%. 27% of global maritime energy is being blocked. And that's what's bringing oil prices up. Right now, Brent crude at $103 a barrel. West Texas crude at $94 a barrel. That is, as long as we've been covering oil prices, that's the biggest spread I've seen. That is almost a $10 spread. Now, let's call it an $8.50 spread. Still, pretty big. Usually it's three, four bucks. I haven't seen it this large. So the United States can ask itself, well, how do we go about doing this? How do we clear out the strait because we need the oil to flow? But the oil is flowing to a lot of other countries, not necessarily the United States. But still, when you want those nations to be able to trade with you and when you want to bring down oil prices in your own country, you still want to clear out the strait. What have they moved to? They've moved down to, moved over to these bunker busters. To eliminate underground threats. Hours ago, this according to Sencom, U.S. forces successfully employed multiple 5,000-pound deep penetrator munitions on hardened Iranian missile sites along Iran's coastline near the Strait of Hormuz. The United States can hit Iran anywhere they want, any time they want, without any pushback. Does Iran still have drones and does Iran still have missiles? Yes, and they are still using them, although less and less every single day, it really has been degraded, but they still are able to get some things out. But for those people saying the United States is losing this war, let's start with at least a bit of clarity. Those are the dumbest people around.

They're liars, they're frauds, they're anti-American zealots who want America to fail. It's embarrassing and disgusting. Dear Lord, stop listening to these people. Or at least when you listen, then laugh. Because the story is out that the taking out of the security chief, Ali Larijani, L-A-R-I-J-A-N-I, L-A-R-I-J-A-N-I, Ali-R-J-A-N-I, Ali-L-R-I-J-A-N-I, Ali-L-L-A-R-R-J-A-N-I. It was made possible. They knew where this guy was because of intelligence received by Israel from the residents of Tehran. Only the American left. Only the very stupid in it for the money woke right. wants Iran to win and thinks America is losing. Everybody else is cheering the United States and Israel to get this done, specifically all of those in the region. The Arab partners don't want to live with this terrorist freak show called Iran. Only Candace Owens does. Only the political left does. The Wall Street Journal piece I will have up on Tonycats.com today. It is the most important read of the week. Israel's hunting down Iranian regime members in their hideouts one by one. And the story discusses how strong Israel's intelligence apparatus is. How the taking out of Soleimani who leads the Basij militia, which is basically radicalized Iranians who are part of Roman goon death squads. That's my take. These are not the actual IRGC. This is not military. This is something different, but still meant to terrorize the people. That leader was killed, and now these groups are in disarray. And if these groups are in disarray, the people feel more emboldened to engage in protest. And we should understand that protest could lead to hangings of any Iranian leadership that's left. The Israelis know where everyone is, it seems. There was a moment where a group gathered in Lebanon, and it was IRGC leadership and others, and they rented out 15 rooms. This is how the story goes, in a hotel. And under fake names and they only met in one, the missile hit that one room. There are reports that the Israelis are calling IRGC commanders and being very clear, we have every bit of information about you. We know exactly where you are. Stop standing with the IRGC, because if you do, your destiny will be as your leader. And the response is, I swear on the Quran, I'm not your enemy. I'm a dead man already. Just please come help us. That's the Wall Street Journal reporting. The United States is ripping the Iranian apparatus apart. The Israelis know what's going on. They've been studying this for years in ways we cannot fathom from the outside.

And the region, and yes, European nations, want the Iranians gone. That's reality. And the only people upset are Candace, Tucker Carlson, Megan, and a guy by the name of Joe Kent. That's a bunch of BS. The puck's these game winners should be in the United States. They should be here with us. So he didn't know it. He found out about it. He's like, this is madness. He's like, I'm trying to get it. Why in the world would they have the puck at all? Makes no sense. Now, considering that the U.S. teams won men's, women's, and Paralympics, take all three pucks, put them side by side. Put them in a museum, put them in the Smithsonian, something on American soil. That would make perfect sense. Perfect sense. As for the World Baseball Championship, the Venezuelan team beating the U.S. to win that all. I'm sorry to see it for the U.S. team because the U.S. team showed up in the hockey sweaters of the U.S. men's team. They showed up wearing the sweater. It was very cool. I am sorry to see it. I'm not the biggest baseball guy, and I can't tell you about everything that happened in this classic with nations from around the globe. I thought it came out pretty good. The very layman outsider looking in, I thought people were interested in it. There were some crazed moments. There was some real drama, the whole thing. I don't know. Some people seem bothered by it. I don't know where that is. I don't know where the anger is. I thought it came out pretty good. I'm just sorry that the U.S. didn't win at all. But congratulations to Venezuela. Right? It's the headline that we told you was already there. Law enforcement warns a possible lone wolf attacks as Iran war continues. We needed proof of this. Of course that's the case. There's no question that that is the case. When we take a look,

at what has been called for already. We've talked about this in multiple ways with President Trump. Tony Katz 93, WIBC, good morning. We already know that there are cells. We already know that there are sleepers. We already know that there are zealots, Islamists, and of course, the absolutely deranged who want evil to survive and they want Western civilization destroyed. But that's enough about Code Pink. We have what happened at the synagogue in Michigan that people want to forget about. We're not going to. We have what took place at Old Dominion University that people want to forget about, but we're not going to. What happened in Austin with two people killed? Buy a guy wearing a hoodie that reads Property of Allah. People want to forget. They don't want you to remember. That won't be us. All acts of terrorism. All on American soil. All having a connectivity. And has the press handled the situation in West Bloomfield? Where, thank goodness, the only person who died was this deranged bigot driving his car into a school that had 140 kids. The city got 140 kids in it. And if he hadn't gotten his truck packed with explosives, stuck between the walls of the hallway, He would have shot at the security team, shot at others. Lord only knows how many people would have been killed. The press wrote, well, he lost family members in Lebanon because of Israeli airstrikes. The family members were known Hezbollah. They were terrorists.

Now, I have no idea. The one thing I don't know in all three situations is whether these people were Americans or whether they came to the country. I don't have the answer there. But when it comes to people coming from Islamist nations, we have to ask ourselves whether or not we can handle this. We have to ask ourselves whether or not there is an issue here. Someone's going to scream, Islamophob. It's not even a word. It doesn't matter. It doesn't affect me. The question remains, the legitimacy of the question is there. It is unquestionably true. That there is an issue, there's a problem, and people can scream and yell and call names all they want. It's still there. We're not going to avoid it because it makes some people uncomfortable. And note that I can engage this conversation by bringing the data of not one, not two, but three terrorist attacks. What data are they going to bring? What data will they try to bring to try and take you off this story? But the idea that there will be others who want to engage in violence and commit crimes, there's no question here. That that is absolutely the case, that that is going to happen. I wish it wasn't the case. I wish that I could somehow stop it. I don't believe that I can. Then there's a story out of Virginia, which under Governor Abigail Spanberger, after Glenn Youngkin, is just falling all apart. They won't work with ICE. They won't listen to detainers. They're going to release illegal immigrants involved in absolutely horrific crimes. because, well, somehow they think that they're decent. Allowing people into the country illegally is not decent. Allowing people who commit crimes in the country while here illegally is not decent. Not turning them over to be deported is not decent. Defending them as if somehow they're the victim is not decent. This is a broken left. This is Abigail Spanberger, not a moderate, a radical leftist. Well, the story goes that The people of Virginia, the General Assembly of Virginia, wants to pass legislation. The legislation discusses whether or not they can carry a firearm and where they can carry a firearm. And so they're proposing legislation.

where the carrying of a firearm does not apply to any member of the General Assembly who leaves a handgun in an unattended motor vehicle. So if you have a gun in your car, you are guilty of a crime. But because they belong to the General Assembly, they are fine. This goes back to Peter King some 15 years ago, who was a Republican from New York. who said he wanted it to be a crime if you carry a firearm near a member of Congress. A member of Congress walks by and I lose my Second Amendment rights. Get bent. It's insane. In what world do I lose my rights because you walked by? The American citizen should have to lose their rights, forfeit their rights temporarily or longer in a myriad of situations, according to the political left. But the illegal immigrants gets to stay. This is a broken group of people. It's an irrational thought, but that's the thought. Tell me how I got it wrong. Because you know I didn't get it wrong. And not you. They know I didn't get it wrong. They know. They are fully aware that what they are pushing for is madness. And what is the madness? How do you damage the nation? I don't know why they hate it so much. Place is awesome and can be better. But they're not interested in better. They're only interested in the destruction to create some pretend utopia freak show that they can't create. They would have no way of creating it. They simply can't do it. And look at what they do. They refuse to discuss the problem that we have. The connection points on terrorism, the connection point on mass shootings. They won't mention that feeding into mental illness like transgenderism might lead to a bad result. They won't mention that Islamists are not interested in American society. They're interested in destroying it. But they're so backwards, they think people here illegally shouldn't deal with the consequences, and people engaged in the legal activity of carrying a firearm should have more consequences. There's really not much else to add. The question is, how is it possible that Republicans can't sell that story and win the midterms? Well, I'm not so sure, but they're doing a damn good job of it. I'm expecting a massive showcase, massive attendance and massive online and on air and television viewing. What I do wonder, I mean, it would be just this year. Exactly how big is the... Are they calling it the Freedom 250? How big is the Freedom 250 Grand Prix going to be? The IndyCar race all around the district? By the way, have you looked at the course? I mean, have you really studied? The course is fantastic. There is not a bad seat in the house. They're not so much ziggin and zagging as they are some opportunities for straightaway and a little bit of speed. Absolutely love it. Love the idea of the long stretch down Pennsylvania. So you're going to see the cars heading towards the Capitol. It's going to be a great visual. I have to assume because of America 250 that it is, I don't know if it will happen, but it is possible that that event will get more viewership. Which is a weird thing to say about the Indy 500. This has come and this is gone. Well, two things happened. First, a story in the IBJ about redistricting revenge, how we're starting to hear ads and see ads.

that are talking about those members of the General Assembly who did not favor redistricting and are now pushing for this or pushing their reelection and how that isn't being taken too well by everybody. Because it's not, right? It's not being taken too well. by everybody. There are some people who are angry and upset and bothered by what it is that happened. They're bothered by the idea that redistricting didn't happen. And okay. There are those who are part of Trump land who said, we said we were going to come after you. And that's exactly, exactly what they're doing. We told you that if you don't redistrict, we're going to challenge you in a primary. And lo and behold, that's what's happening as we speak. Not surprised. Well, take that back. Actually, a little surprised that there's really money to do this. I think that a lot of people, certainly in the General Assembly, would have thought that this is bluster. But Monday, I was at the Hamilton County Lincoln Day dinner. Got invited and it was lovely. Saw some people. Saw some people I didn't talk to. Saw some people who didn't talk to me. Saw some people who were absolutely joyous. Very, very nice time. Huge, huge, huge crowd for the Hamilton County dinner. 600, 700 people? It was huge, gigantic, was the crowd there. Thrilled for them. Absolutely thrilled to see it. I'm hoping for those sides' crowds. I am speaking to the Madison County, their president's dinner on April 18th, in case you want to get that on the calendar. And then I'm going to Morgan County. And I am speaking to them at their Lincoln Day dinner on April 23rd. So, yeah, we gotta, gotta do better, bigger than Hamilton County. Let's go make that happen. And there were a series of speakers. Riley Gaines was a speaker, enjoyed hearing from her and the fight against madness and men and women's sports and those who want to. well, try and rip apart of the fabric of society. And one of the speakers was Senator Jim Buck. Now, maybe I'm out of line for discussing something that took place at a Lincoln Day. I know that if I speak at a Lincoln Day, someone could quote me, I don't think there's any issue. with me discussing something that I heard. If I told you about what Riley Gaines said, there was no issue with that, right? I don't know, Senator Buck personally. What I know is he is speaking, and the first thing he brings up is redistricting, and I said, I'm at this table of people, and I believe my words were, my God, what is he doing?

Now, it's not that Volodymyr Zelensky hasn't done some dumb things before. Oh, he certainly has. But offering up drone help to the United States to help them in the fight with Iran? Very smart. But the argument of, man, it's costing us a lot of money to take out these drones from the Iranians that don't cost much at all. That's true. That's true. If a drone can be manufactured for a few thousand dollars and the way we take it out costs a few hundred thousand dollars, that's not cost-effective. And one of the things that we did is we spoke to Chuck DeVore, the Texas Public Policy Foundation the other day, is that what we determined that helicopters with mounted machine guns is pretty effective. Just because it's low tech, doesn't mean it's the wrong tech. What Ukraine is saying, Volodymyr Zelensky is saying, is we have had extremely good results through experience because of Russia's invasion. in dealing with these drones, specifically the Shahad drones. These are Iranian designs. Russians have been using them, and we have found effectiveness in taking out those drones. We have found effectiveness in dealing with this insanity. So you have President Trump saying, where in the world is the help from other nations regarding the trade of Hormuz and oil shipments? You're the people who need the oil. And now Trump then said, we don't even need your help. Not surprised by this. I stated yesterday else, I said it again this morning, that it's not surprising. These nations don't want to be seen as being led by the nose. They don't want to be seen as somehow not being capable of handling themselves. Rather, what they want to do is be able to be strong to where their voters are. All politics are local. Volodymyr Zelensky sees this as an opportunity because Volodymyr Zelensky where one of the major miscalculations was, was that Volodymyr Zelensky did not engage this as a conversation of Russia is an invading force for all the world. And we are the tip of the spear. Help us defeat this Russian threat so it can always stay defeated. We will always be there to fight it for you if we have your help. This is how Israel has couched a lot of its language. But Volodymyr Zelensky didn't do that. Volodymyr Zelensky said, thank you for the help. Why aren't you helping more? What's wrong with you? Didn't know how to massage that story. Didn't know how to properly engage his positioning. What he is saying now is we've had the experience of dealing with this. And quote, whenever it is possible for us to help defend civilians or U.S. nationals without second thought we sent our teams, we are prepared to help. We want to help.

I would like to ask the U.S. not to perceive Ukraine as a country that merely asked for help, he wrote on X. Rather, quote, that is not the case. Ukraine is defending interests and values. And that's called learning, children. Now, some people like in the chat room are noting Ukraine wants to help so they don't get cut off from the United States. Correct. Yes, there will be people on the progressive left to be like, oh, Trump can't do this. It's a weird thing when they say the president can't do. We have the setup in the Constitution to say what the president can and can't do. But things that are clearly in the purview of the president. The left kind wants to think that somehow that's the stuff that's problematic. I don't care if they're happy. You know, it's like my conversation regarding the woke right. And it goes to the line of how can one overcome their trauma when it's the most interesting thing about them. And I don't know if she realized how heavy of a line that is when she wrote it. But how outrageously true it is, outside of anything else, I may not know about her politics, anything else. How true of a line that is. that people don't overcome trauma. Their trauma becomes their story. Their trauma is the thing that they lead with. Overcoming trauma means you got on with your life, but exalting and glorifying your trauma. Well, that is how you can get paid. I, for years, have used the line. I haven't used it much on the show, I admit. I have used it on the morning show years ago, and I haven't used it recently. How do you heal the racial divide when the wound is so profitable? Al Sharpton made all his money, all his fame. Take a look at Black Lives Matter.

You must have the thing, not an overcoming of the thing. You have oil prices at $96.49 on the West Texas crude. That is the barrel price. We have seen this go up because of the action in Iran. You have Brent crude. at $105.90 a barrel. You've got the 10-year treasury at 4.206. Gold is down. $486 an ounce now is the bid price silver at $782.2. And I was looking at this just a few moments ago, and I said, this number doesn't make any sense to me. You telling me there's no longer an inflationary threat? You really believe that's under control? We have the Fed coming out with a decision on interest rates today, which, well, could be the whole reason some of these things are down. You think that there's no more recession risk? If there are people who feel that the Strait of Hormuz is shut down too long, they'll tell you that it's going to bring a recession. Bitcoin is down to 72,814. No, the number I'm paying attention to. I am so curious to see how this plays out. Wholesale prices are up 0.7%. The producer price index is up 0.7. That's the quick number. The expectation was 0.3. I'm staring at the numbers right now. This is the producer price index. So February, see, this doesn't make any sense. How do you argue that this is 0.7? Here, I'm sorry, February 2026, there it is. 0.7 less, and the core is 0.5.

So now it's costing us more to manufacture things? Is this the tariff effect in full play? And how does the market react to this? They like what they're seeing? That wouldn't make any sense to me. You've got the Fed that's going to come out today with an inflation report. And you've got a wholesale price report that says the inflation is here. Now, hold on. Let me go back to the gold prices. Still 4883 on the gold, 7787 on the silver. Not an expert. I can read. And what I'm reading is this number is not good, not good at all. I'm not sure how the White House spins. Maybe there's a part of this I need to take a second look at. Maybe a breakdown of the report tells us more than just a top line number. All things possible. That's Matt Bear. It's of no help. And I'm allowed to utilize the chat room. They are able to assist as well. I thought I knew what it was.
