I've not heard one Democrats say defund ICE. Right now, Democrats have the power to defund and abolish ICE. We should do it. It is beyond time to defund ICE. An agency that does not care about the law. Does not care what courts say. thinks it is accountable to no one except for the president of the United States. We can't fund that kind of agency. We would be violating our oath of office, all of us, to fund an agency that just doesn't care about the law. Now, when I say, my gosh, that was easy. Someone else had put together the video. I was just using that from social media. But it is a great example of the brazenness of the lie. Just say no one said it. Just say it. And since no one in media and mainstream media is willing to push back because there is no actual media taking place, no journalism, I should say taking place. You can just say it and it's done. And that's why Republicans utilized reconciliation in order to get things done and get people paid. We're going to get into that story. But I start where I start. Why would Senator Patty Murray say no one has ever said that? Again, her words. I've not heard one Democrats say defund eyes. How is it possible? You didn't say here one Democrat say it. I just played three for you. How is it possible? You never heard it. So one of two things is going on. Either Senator Patty Murray is a liar or Senator Patty Murray is ignorant. Neither one is a good look. Just for the sake of clarity. I'll get into the reconciliation bill and what's going on and the anger that people like Chuck Schumer have, uh, poor you. Oh, I have it. I'll play it if you want. Oh, boy you. Yeah, Nancy Marchion did it better. Rest her soul. Illinois has passed some legislation in their house to help them keep the Chicago Bears. But.

may not be enough. It is what they're referring to as a mega projects bill. It's going to go to the state Senate for a vote. Of course, this is about whether or not the Bears stay in Illinois or whether or not our offer of Hammonds, our offer of Lake County, our offer of Indiana, northwest Indiana, is more attractive to them, which it is. Just as a matter of sheer dollars and cents, it's a much more attractive offer that will save them millions. And if these players aren't insane, they want to play in Northwest Indiana. So they're considering tax breaks right now for large scale construction projects. And so it's the tax breaks that may lead to the bears saying, okay, now it makes sense for us to stay. So we can at least state that taxes are punitive. That no one can stay in Illinois because the taxes are too high, and you need special consideration in order to be able to make things happen. Now, I'm okay with things like tax credits. We're not getting the money anyway, so why don't we create the scenario by which the businesses come and create opportunities for us, and then there's the economic future down the road. I like to think of all the jobs created and everything else more than tax revenues. But they are now at least trying. This was early morning stuff trying to get this done. It might be too little too late. It might still not dot enough eyes and cross enough teas. Right now, I still say the momentum would be for them to stay in Illinois. Senate Republicans adopting the budget resolution. Long, long night of voting.

So Congress will vote next month on budget reconciliation. And then we should have a reopened Department of Homeland Security. Lisa Murkowski and Rand Paul voted with the Democrats. Shamefully, I would note. What argument were you going to get, are you going to make to allow for this? Well, it's not right. No, no, it's totally right. You have an intransigent Democratic Party that is okay with watching children die because we don't have the safety and security measures in place. Now if Republicans were actually interested in doing their job, that's how they would be talking about this and they would have been for months. They chose not to. They somehow think they're above it all. I didn't say anything that isn't factual and I didn't say anything that Democrats wouldn't say when it isn't factual. You are going to hear me more and more. Engage the following statement. It is as if the Republicans don't want to win. I cannot make sense of their positioning, of their messaging, of their total lack of campaigning. I cannot make it make sense. I can't make anything regarding how they're dealing with the war in Iran make sense in terms of messaging. When it comes to the total lack of talking about how secure the border is and the damage that people like Joe Biden did and the people like Gavin Newsom, you may have missed this story. City Journal with the reporting. These are the same people who engaged the reporting that started the avalanche, the waterfall of information regarding the fraud in Minnesota. The story from Christopher Rufo and Susan Crabtree, Crabtree does a lot of work at Real Clear Politics. Christopher Rufo has been doing this kind of work with City Journal and others for years, how Gavin Newsom subsidized the migrant invasion. And the story discusses that the California governor, Gavin Newsom, spent a billion dollars on nonprofits that are interested in dismantling the border and abolishing ice. Organizations I have referred to on this show for years, the NGOs, non-governmental organizations that taught people how to lie when they were coming across the border, claiming refugee status, claiming that they couldn't go back home, how to claim for asylum, teaching them how to lie so they can get into the country. And Gavin Newsom took a billion dollars worth of tax dollars to help that along. Gavin Newsom. pushed for the invasion of the United States. Gavin Newsom pushed for the people that killed Lake and Riley and killed Sheridan and Gordon and killed others. Gavin Newsom is responsible for making your kids unsafe regarding fentanyl. Republicans don't know how to do this? They don't know how to do this or they won't do this, which leads me to wonder whether or not they actually want to win.

Now, there's a whole Machiavellian play here regarding Donald Trump. I'll get to that another time. But for Rand Paul and Lisa Murkowski not to vote to fund this, they're just wrong. I like Rand Paul on a great number of subjects. This is not a moral position. You don't have a high ground position here. It is simply nonsensical. There were a series of amendments that were pushed forward from the Democrats to add to it, right? That happens constantly and consistently. The vast majority of them were voted down. There were amendments about cuts to snap, supplemental nutrition assistance program, health insurance company issues, all sorts of things. because what they wanted was Republicans on the record saying no to these things don't worry about it Democrats always know how to play the political game it is Republicans who seem unwilling to deal with the reality

If you want to have legislation that talks about how we deal with health care, about delaying dollars, denying dollars, et cetera, we'll go past that legislation. But it wasn't for this. Go past the legislation. You're not going to have anybody even question the idea. We might question the legislation. But go ahead, work together on that. If there are Republicans interested in working with Democrats on that, and Democrats who are having an honest conversation that doesn't involve that you're glad that a United Healthcare CEO got murdered in the middle of the street. Brian Thompson was his name. Well, then great. But it wasn't part of this legislation. And this legislation... the funding of these areas of the Department of Homeland Security. I'm glad it got through the Senate. Now it has to get through the House. Where are people like Hakeem Jeffries are going to play all tough guy. Hakeem, pipe down. Oh, I'm sorry. That's, that's rude. Representative Hakeem Jeffries, pipe down. He told Trump to pipe down yesterday. Yeah, so. So now that's my new favorite expression. Pipe down is a winner. But we're not talking about winners. We're talking about losers like Gavin Newsom, which brings us to a number two conversation. Now, this came up. I was on Newsmax Tuesday with Carl Higby over there. And it was a conversation about gas taxes that if you are in Arizona, were they in O'Galas? Where were they in Arizona? You are buying a gas. That will be $4 a gallon, right? You've got the war with Iran. Gas prices went up because the oil prices went up per barrel. And right now you're talking about West Texas crude at $95 a barrel and the Brent crude at $104 a barrel. You're going to pay $4 a gallon. But if you go to just across the border into California, you'll pay over $7 a gallon. And if you look at averages across the state, the current California average for a gallon of gas is $5.83. The national average across the U.S. is $4.2. Why is that?

of the gas taxes of California. So when California talks about, look at the increase in gas prices, they only have to look at themselves. Here in Indiana, we should be talking about an extension of the gas tax. Sorry, the extension of the removal of the gas tax, better. James Talarico, the Democrat in Texas, who claims to be a moderate, he's now pushing for a suspension of the federal gas tax. Whatever he wants to do, Republicans should triple it and claim it as their idea. I'm going to speak to Governor Braun at 815. Of course, we should extend the lowering of the gas tax for another six months. Taxes are punitive. Taxes steal from the people. And states have to learn how to deal with less and say no to some nonsense programs that provide no value. But roads provide value for cars and for trucks. Cars and trucks are good. Tony Katz 93 WIBC, good morning. The courts have said no. So Hakeem Jeffries, Chuck Schumer, pipe down and do what you're told. Right? The courts are in charge. Isn't that the way it goes? Or are you authoritarian who believe you don't have to listen to the court? Because we know if we give Democrats power, they will pack the Supreme Court. There will be 13 justices and they will go further than that. They claim that they're going to do it within the confines of the law. Sure. Tony Katz at 93 WIBC. Good morning. Guys, an absolute pleasure to be here and be with you. Senate Republicans. No, I'm sorry. This wasn't Senate Republicans. No, my mistake. This was Republicans not fighting regarding the situation in Virginia and the redistricting, which passed 51% of the vote. The vote itself is the subject at hand. Redistricting is a lawful process. I've said so from the beginning. I don't change my mind. It is absolutely something that is allowed. However, each state has its own rules and regulations. And if those rules and regulations aren't followed, then how possibly can there be a vote? So Republicans are cheering because a circuit court in Virginia. has said, hey, you know that vote you just had about redistricting that would change it from six Democrats and five Republicans to 10 Democrats and one Republican? Even though it's a 50-50 kind of state, you would have massive representation by Democrats. Hey, it's redistricting. Democrats won the governor's mansion. They control the House of delegates. They can do it they will. They brought it to the people and they voted except they didn't do it right.

And we're a country, a nation of laws. So you've got the circuit court saying that the Democrats redistricting efforts don't hold. The election does not hold. So I believe it's Tazilwell is this circuit court ruled the referendum unconstitutional. I believe that is how it is pronounced. Yeah, I think I've got that right. The story goes that the Democrats did not follow proper procedure. So it's the Republican National Committee that is suing the commissioner of the Virginia Department of Elections. And it declares that any and all votes for or against the proposed constitutional amendment in the April 21st, 2026 election are ineffective. The vote you just saw on redistricting. That result has been halted. It's Taswell, the Taswell County Circuit Court. I believe I'm pronouncing it right. The state of Virginia is going to appeal the ruling. Go right ahead. We said that there were going to be a series of lawsuits. We knew this was coming. But the argument holds that first, the ballot was improperly written because it talked about the fairness of elections. That's not the way a question is written, right? Because it's a ballot question. Secondly, there were specifics about when this concept came to the ballot and it came through a budget session and this is not something that can come through a budget session. Then it was a conversation about when the vote is held and that was held at an improper date, an improper time based on the timing that their state constitution prescribes. Do I question whether or not 51% of the people voted for it? No. I don't. Do I question what it is they voted for? Yes, I do. Is it very clear that the question is written in a way that is meant to be a leading question, which is something we don't allow? Absolutely. It's not even a debate. Any Democrat who wants to debate it should be laughed at. You should laugh in their face, especially if they're your uncle and not invite them to Thanksgiving.

But the real question here is who is any Democrat to argue with the judge? The judge said, so the vote doesn't count. That's that. No redistricting in Virginia. Now, if Democrats don't want to listen to the judge, if Democrats don't want to listen to the judge, I want to know. who they think they are. I did not know that one could not be allowed to not listen to a judge. I thought whatever the judge says is final. Trump has to listen to every judge. And he does listen to every judge. And he still called an authoritarian. Watch what Democrats do. Watch how they move. And you will see the difference. And you will see the the thesis of my conversations over the last few weeks. Democrats will push for full on communism in New York. They won't listen to courts in Virginia. And they still want open borders. And Republicans won't redistrict and won't fight. What is going on here? It's so obvious that we have an issue, which leads one only to one place. It seems to me, and it seems to be, that Republicans do not want to win. They don't want it. The question is why? Why don't they want it? Why will they not be aggressive about these things?

I don't have a good answer for you. All I can do is note that this very much seems to be the situation. Look at what Democrats will do, look at what Republicans won't do, and ask yourself what exactly is going on here. How is this remotely acceptable? Wait to see what they do in Virginia. We're also waiting on the Supreme Court to bring down some decisions. Some may come today. One of these is Louisiana versus Calais. This is about racial gerrymandering. This could change a lot of things. And it focuses on whether the Voting Rights Act violates the 14th and 15th amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Now, the idea of racial gerrymandering is, well, you have to create districts so that people of a certain ethnicity, a certain group, a certain this, a certain that are represented. So you mean I have to create all black districts? That's how you draw a map? Who? It's going to get very interesting.
