President Trump assigning the legislation a 76-day shutdown that Republicans did not take advantage of to say, look what Democrats are doing, which Democrats did this. Tony Katz 93, WIBC, good morning. Really disappointing in how this was played. Speaker Johnson should not be proud, neither should lead her soon. But hopefully Americans understand. that for the sake of power and the sake of cravenness, Democratic Party doesn't care who gets hurt. Republicans will fund the rest of ICE and Border Patrol through reconciliation. That's going to happen without Democrats because, again, they don't care what happens to the country or to the people in it. And now we've got ourselves funding again of the TSA, of Coast Guard, of FEMA, of Secret Service, of SISA, which is cybersecurity and infrastructure security agency. Well, at least that part's good. At least that's up and running after 75 days. Most people were not getting paid wouldn't work for 75 minutes. But the moment was missed. It again forces one to ask whether or not Republicans are serious about winning at all. But it is not the end of all of it. There's some very interesting data about concepts of disarray, which are very, very perplexing because if that is the case amongst, for example, the Democratic Party, how come Republicans aren't doing better? Polling will show you that Republicans are 10 points down to Democrats. for the midterms. I actually don't think the swing is that big. I think that there is still motion and opportunity and all these things. And the only people who don't seem to see it are Republicans in D.C. You know, I understand fully why people say, what's the point? Why people say these guys can't be trusted. They're worthless. I get all of the arguments.

It's not that I am somehow lost to their understanding. It is, I have to deal in the reality, and so do we all. If it isn't these people who we have to kick in the butt on a daily to get basic things handled, it's those guys who are rallying around the candidate with the Nazi tattoo. Those are the options. The lazy one or the Nazi tattoo one. And I'm not engaged in hyperbole. I'm not engaged in name calling. The guy has a Nazi tattoo. And all Democrats could say is he's such a great guy. We're talking about a guy by name of Graham Platner in Maine. No. No, everybody knows if this is a Republican. This is all you would hear 24-7. This is being excused for the sake of power. Oh, also, large parts of his history and his somewhat sorted. We'll call it somewhat-sorted recent history. They'll excuse it for power. They'll put your kids at risk for power. It's an easy story to tell because it's true. All you have to do is read headlines and point to the headline and look at the people and go, huh? That's it. That is it. We're going to break this down quite a bit. Also, the war will continue in Iran as we said it would. But can President Trump and Secretary of Defense Secretary of War Pete Hegseth? Can they get away with saying that a ceasefire meant a pause in the War Powers Act? I'm saying I have no idea if they can. We will discuss that as well. The maps will be withdrawn and redrawn. And while this is going on in those areas involved in the conflict and around the conflict in the United Kingdom, they have raised the threat level to severe after, of course, two people were stabbed. I'm sorry, I said it wrong. Two Jews were stabbed. They were stabbed by a guy who is a Somali translator. Whose story is in the UK. He stabbed two police officers and a police dog in 2008. He was in jail for nine years over this stabbing. Did not get deported. Did not get deported. And then just the other day, stabbed two Jewish men in London. Before we go any further, Jewish or not, buy guns, buy ammo and get trained and don't go to London. Who knew that the movie Snatch was accurate? Do you have anything to declare? Yeah, don't go to England. The... Anti-Semitism, the bigotry, the violence has been mainstream, not just in the UK, but certainly the hatred right here in the US. There is a task force that has concluded this. The Biden administration systematically targeting traditional Christians and cites what it describes as hundreds of cases as evidence. All you had to do was watch them work. All you had to do is watch them take a look at abortion clinics. How dare somebody say abortion is wrong. Jail? I mean, this is obvious. The hatred towards Jews is obvious. The madness of it all. And that it is getting more and more prolific on the woke right, a huge danger to the political right. No part of it is conservatism. Zero. Zero. But if you want to meet the people who are really happy about what's happening, overjoyed about what's happening, this is who I call bigot Medi Hassan. Tucker Carlson has a big fan base amongst the anti-war left, who see him as saying the right stuff trying to stop Trump from illegal wars in Iran, and amongst a lot of Muslims and Arab Americans who see him now as this great champion of Palestine. Wherever I go, literally has him wherever I go in this country. I do a lot of live events. I do a lot of public events. People come up and say, what are you going on Tucker Carlson? When are you going to do an event with Tucker Carlson? Why don't you do a collab with Tucker Carlson? We love Tucker Carlson. People ask me more about Tucker Carlson, even in my own family, than they ask me about my wife and kids. Yeah, that's not an endorsement of Tucker Carlson. But this is where we're at. And these are the people who will tell you we never should have done anything about Iran. Iran wasn't a threat to us who will lie to your face. Iran, the Iranian regime is a terrorist organization that has to be destroyed, which brings us back to the war continuing because no negotiation is going to work. Cannot negotiate with terrorists. There's a report out that the foreign minister of Iran is actually very pro-IRGC, and that's possibly why none of these negotiations were able to get anything done because he was just lying while he was pushing the IRGC to engage in more levels of violence. This doesn't end until the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is destroyed. The terrorism doesn't end. It doesn't end. Stinks doesn't end. Now as for the Strait of Hormuz, I believe we should be much more aggressive in getting things open and flowing. We should be radical about it. Did he say radical? Well, it works for them, so why not? Why not how crazy they're crazy? And we've got the firepower to do it. And who cares what Tucker Carlson or Hassan or these Jew hating bigots, these Christian hating bigots, these America hating bigots, these damn fools think. Now, that is different than someone who says, I would have done it this way. I don't like how they handled this. There are legit criticisms up and down the line. Iran was not a threat. And so once a barrel is done, you can do other things with the barrel, but in order to make bourbon, it has to be first use. You can then do other levels of attempted flavorings or double-oaks. You know, there's a whole series of things that you can give a go-to. but the bourbon itself has to be first-use charred oak. Otherwise, it's not bourbon. It can be whiskey. And so we're clear, it is indeed a Nazi tattoo. But as we have seen... One week past an assassination attempt, not only will there be no lowering of the temperature, there will only be a ratcheting of the temperature up. Where the left refuses to recognize that if this was a Republican, they would be apoplectic. It would be 24-7 news stories. They won't recognize that the Southern Poverty Law Center paid Unite the Right. They are responsible for what took place in Charlottesville all those years ago, Charlottesville, Virginia, where Heather Heyer was killed, where they invented the lie of Donald Trump fine people on both sides. And they still use it today. I have said before, I will say it again, the only way out is through. And they're proving it. You have got, whether it's Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, you know, the commies, Chris Van Hollen, the bigots, pushing for this guy to be the next senator from New Hampshire. I don't know what's going to happen. We're still a few months away from that election. But it is important to note what it is that they are willing to support. It's a good write-up from Seth Mandel over there at Commentary magazine, Commentary.org, the party with the Nazi tattoo. This is now standard operating procedure that there will be no honesty from the political left about the kinds of people that they run. If they decide that's the candidate, that's the candidate. Remember, Eric Swalwell was their guy until he wasn't their guy. And then they told the truth. Joe Biden was their guy until he couldn't be the guy. And then they didn't really tell the truth. They just sent Jake to Jake Tapper out there to write a book and say, oh my gosh, nobody knew that Joe Biden was so incapacitated. This is about what people rally around.

It is hearing Seth Moulton, the Democrat from Massachusetts, say of Pete Hegseth, that not only is he guilty of war crimes, But it's just like... ...elating these boats, trying to feed their families. There's been press reporting on some of these individuals who've been killed, who are clearly not... war criminals. And on top of that, we then have the strike where they came back and hit it again, a double tap, just purely to kill these survivors who were clinging to wreckage. You know, it's interesting, Aaron, another historical analogy, back in World War II, the Allies tried Nazi submarine captains for doing this exact same thing. And guess what the conclusion was? They got executed. Listen to that, Mr. Secretary. That's a member of Congress calling for the execution of the Secretary of Defense, Secretary of War. It is what it is. So if you were kind of hoping that maybe everybody would calm down and maybe four, I call it four assassination attempts, four assassination attempts was enough and maybe this should stop. Nope. The rhetoric is mainstreamed. The violence is mainstreamed. The acceptance of whatever it is somebody who claims to be a progressive does is mainstreamed and accepted. At all times. What do we accept? What do we not accept? I accept the fact that Donald Trump is president of the United States, just like I accepted the fact that Joe Biden was president of the United States. I also accept the fact that it's very obvious that for at least three years, Joe Biden was not in charge of the country. And man, I'd love to throw some people in jail who were involved in that cabal, that coup. The auto pen was real, and I believe these people need to be hauled in front of a courtroom. But they move forward without any compunction whatsoever. And I only argue that this is becoming more and more. frustrating for Americans to the point of more and more apathy. Why should one have, be engaged in apathy? How do you just say, oh, forget it all? Well, because it's an overwhelming mountain of stuff that the left is doing. There is a woman running for Senate in Michigan by the name of Mallory McMorrow. Who is Mallory McMorrow? She spoke at the DNC and she had this big binder in front of her and she's an awkward. It was an awkward presentation, not as awkward as Tim Walz's wife, but still awkward. And she moved to Michigan a decade ago from California. And she has now deleted a tremendous number of social media posts where she says she hated moving to Michigan. She hates Michigan. She misses California. All she wants to be is in California.

And that after moving to Michigan, and she is running for Senate as a Democrat in Michigan, after she moved to Michigan, she still voted in California. She admits to it. It's there. It's easy to read. But if Democrats think she's the best opportunity to keep the Senate seat. They're going to look the other way on voter fraud. Now, I bring up a series of national stories not to somehow limit the issues we have here locally with Democrats and Republicans. With taxation, with property taxes, with whether or not we're going to engage further suspension of gas taxes, how high the gas taxes are, whether we're going to be people who engage in tolling, and of course, the absolute mob mentality over data centers. We have legitimate issues right here, and we need to keep discussing these issues. We do. Like, for example, how is it possible that a guy who hired somebody who was involved in sexual abuse, who himself is involved in sexual impropriety? How could he think of running for a fourth term for mayor? Yet there's Joe Hogsett. Maybe the key is just pure shamelessness. Have no shame in everything is possible. But man. So the gas prices are indeed out of control. Because that's exactly how people are going to discuss it. They're not wrong. They're absolutely right. Tony Katz 93, WIBC, good morning. We have had incredible increases here in the state of Indiana. West Texas crude now sits at $105 a barrel. Brent crude at $111 a barrel. We have certainly diesel well over $5 a gallon. And it is absolutely going to have an effect on everything, quite literally everything. Is it too high of a price to pay? Well, I don't believe so. I believe this is a short term for long-term benefit. I would say it anywhere. Is that different than whether or not it's going to affect people's lives? Well, of course it's going to affect people's lives. You'd be insane to think otherwise, including mine, including yours. The cost of shipping goods, the cost of that good on the shelf, the cost of the good that you need in order to make your goods and go out there and sell them. It's all connected in this way. It is all going to be rough. And yes, if you're running to win midterms, it's very, very hard to win a midterm when people are paying $5 a gallon for gas. Now. We should continue to do away with gas taxes. We should continue in Indiana to remove gas taxes. They are indeed too high. And no one believes they get a value from it. Well, could you imagine what the roads would look like? Not an answer. Not an answer. Rather, how can we better manage our money? If I was the Republicans in Indiana, I'd be like, see, this is why we need a toll road on 70. It's a great time for that argument. I didn't say it was a winner. I just said it would be the right timing. And in addition to this and whether or not Governor Braun is going to extend any gas tax holiday, whether or not we'll see a special session to address this to help Hoosiers through the end of the year, something we suggested to the governor just a few weeks ago. You have signed by Governor Braun, SEA 256, which addresses risks from foreign adversaries, China, Russia, North Korea, and Iran. It's a registration system for foreign agents limits foreign involvement in state contracts, providing oversight for real estate ownership. Are we saying that you're not allowed to be a Chinese national and own land in Indiana? Because if so, good. But that needs to be done on the federal side. Also, you've got Senate enrolled Act 185, which is oversight of tobacco and e cigarette products, sales certificates, giving enforcement powers to rule violators.

Great. You don't want kids under the age of 18. People under the age of 18 are smoking. I'm totally with you. I'm fine. No problem whatsoever. But while we're getting rid of the gas taxes, can we get rid of this nonsense cigar tax that you guys put on because you have a shortfall and you decided to attack an entire industry instead of spreading the pain around? You attacked an industry. Really scummy. If you want to tax something that should be taxed, tax kale, not cigars. Tax the lawyers. in Indiana and also put a moratorium on their prices that they can't charge anymore for two years and then tax them more. Why? Why should the lawyers be able to sit around and say, hmm, what's an industry that we can attack? It won't be us. And if the lawyers have a problem with it, what does that matter? You're still charging whatever you want. Then you can go afford the cigar, but other people can't afford the cigar because you raise the taxes because there's a shortfall in the General Assembly that you failed to think of and you decided this was the way to handle it. Nah. Nah. Let the lawyers come at me and tell me I'm wrong and let me tell them what we all think of them. Protected class kind of nonsense going on here. I have a bunch of stuff like this story about a school board. 13 in continuing coverage out of Bay County. The Bangor Township School Board is under fire following controversy over an investigation. That investigation included questioning two students whose parents were not notified before they were questioned. ABC 12th Street Camp has the story of one mother who still feels the school district administration is lying and is determined to find out how this happened. Now it's the story out of Flint, Michigan. But this story could be out of name wherever it is your kid goes to school right here, which is about where schools see the line, where they think they are in charge and whether or not they think parents should have a say about, well, anything. Nothing makes sense and I just want it to make sense. That's what Melissa Gehry says she's been trying to do since October when she found out her daughter Emerson Eurek, a freshman at Bangor John Glenn High, and another student were questioned in school by a district hired attorney. Emerson says she was told not to tell her mother about the questioning. Oh. Well, that's going to go well. I can tell as parents that all of you would be totally fine with this. Your child questioned by a lawyer and then told by the lawyer, don't tell mom, it'll be our secret. Shh. The lawyer followed that up with, do you want some candy from my windowless van? Huh?

The fact that this happened in Flint doesn't mean anything. This could happen anywhere, everywhere. It's about whether or not they think they're in charge. And you got to ask yourself who these people are, why they got to this place, and how do you ensure that they're not? Let me say it again for the people in the cheap seats, because I would put forth that this is not an anomaly. This is something that happens. We just don't hear about it as much, and not specifically from lawyers, but certainly from teachers and administrators and others who think that they have control and dominion over your children. The teachers union must be broken in two. These people must lose. We have to end this system. We have to end it. It doesn't work. Good Lord. And that's just, that's just one story. That's just one story I didn't get to this week. I'm like, I really should have gotten to it this week. Um, and then, uh, there's, uh, oh, there's Rashida Tlaib. I don't think she's cursing in this, uh, their, uh, producer Carl, but it's Rashida Tlaib and you never know. So finger on the dump button just in case. Just in case, uh, we called it here, although it was an easy call. And this was the story of, you know, when they were doing the fight for 15? Do you remember that producer Carl, the fight for 15? I'm sorry, I don't. The $15 an hour minimum wage? Oh, yeah. It's like they were doing the fight for. Yeah, oh yeah, it's starting in California. You're right. You're right. And they were fighting for $15. And we all said, why $15? It's only a matter of time before they say they want a $25 an hour minimum wage. In Congresswoman, Rashida Tlaib, says the cost of living has skyrocketed, but the pay has stayed the same. It's all at starvation wages is what's happening right now. And it's shameful. It's shameful that our Congress does not move with urgency. Even when we had a trifecta, we did not move with urgency. And that truth needs to be told because we need to put the folks that are fighting to get the gavel back on notice that this should be one of the first bills that we passed. And so they're holding up signs that say $25 for all. But it's not the only sign that they're holding up because they've got a sign that says $27 for all Illinois. And then they've got a sign that, what is that? $30. And who is that for? $30 for, I assume that's for California, right? A living wage, but now they're admitting that there's no such thing as a living wage because you need certain money here and certain money there depending on where you live. There's no such thing as the living wage. The living wage is not real, ladies and gentlemen. I will debate this anywhere anytime. No one can prove it. There is no economist that can prove it. The living wage is a totally subjective concept based on what your needs, desires, wants are.

So there's no living wage. And government can't give you a living wage. And it's not up to government to just give you money. Capitalism is good. And this socialist nonsense will lead to destruction. And it already has. We're right. They're wrong next. It's not, by the way, unheard of that Rashida Tlaib is wrong. The bigots usually are wrong. But all of this brings us to the place that you thought we were done with. All of this brings us. Kamala Harris, ladies and gentlemen, just a little. No, just me? All right, just me. Ask me how long that loop goes on for. Too long. Way too long. Kamala Harris is speaking in front of a crowd and she's being interviewed and she's going to drop some truth right on you. This is how they play. They are strategic. They think long term and they are ruthless. Looking forward to that. One of the big stories you're going to be hearing. It's about how they are redrawing the maps. The decision from the Supreme Court on Louisiana v. Calais, we knew this was going to be the story. And what was happening and what the court said in a 6-3 decision, a shameful display from Elena Kagan Sotomayor and Ketanji Brown Jackson, was that, no, you cannot draw a congressional district. based on race. Racial gerrymandering is unacceptable. That the Voting Rights Act didn't allow this to happen contrary the Constitution. That's not what it's for. So Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act remains, which is a little surprising. But what Samuel Alito, who wrote the majority opinion stated, was you don't get to do these things. That's not what it's for. Bigotry, certainly in my, this means discussing it, is bigotry. But you cannot draw a district based on racial lines. This was the firing gun because Louisiana said, okay, we're redrawing the districts. And people are suing. You can't redraw the districts. The court just said you cannot have a district based on racial gerrymandering. They said the words. And Louisiana has a district that goes through the middle of the state. It runs 200 plus miles. It's like a ribbon of caramel in your ice cream. And they're like, yeah, that's fine. It's not fine. And now Illinois may get put on hold. And some states are saying we don't know what we're going to do. Louisiana has now suspending their primaries because they have to redraw the maps.

You take a look at where other states are in what they're going to do. It could put seven Democrat House seats in play. And this is what has the political left so upset because their argument is you change the rules. You rig the system. The court is corrupt. And now look what these Republicans are going to do. It's a wrong argument. The argument is that the political left utilized the Voting Rights Act. to create districts that were solely based on their political desires and nothing else. And they put as it skies where we're doing this to have racial equality. What? You don't like racial equality? They engaged in an absolutely brutal attack on our system. And yet Kamala Harris says the left needs to get more ruthless. Okay. When you take a look at what this ruling does, You have two seats in Louisiana, two seats in Alabama, one in Mississippi, one in Tennessee, one in South Carolina that could all flip to Republicans. That's seven seats, ladies and gentlemen, just based on a proper drawing of lines, not based on racial bigotry. Now, someone might say to me, but Tony, there was clearly a history of black underrepresentation in states, and this fixes that. No. We could argue that conversations like poll taxes or other types of litmus tests to be able to vote are wrong. I will agree with you. Those things don't exist anymore. But if we're going to argue that the Voting Rights Act specifically, I can talk. I know how to do this. Section 2 was to keep states from creating all white districts. Well, then how could it somehow be logical, rational, reasonable, or acceptable that it could create an all-black district? And how about the despicable nature of saying all-black people think alike and vote the same way? Oh, there are lawsuits going on. People won't accept what the Supreme Court has done. They're calling the Supreme Court illegitimate. They want to tear down the systems. Because when they don't win and when they can't get their way, when they don't want to follow the Constitution, they will do and say anything. And yet the left says they have to get more ruthless. This is the Hammond site, which is over there, Wolf Lake Park, presented to the League Stadium Committee, along with the proposal for the disgustingly evil Chicago suburb Arlington Heights, Illinois. They never did anything to me. I don't know why I'm getting angry with them. So according to the reporting, these are the only two viable options for a stadium. Now, what's interesting about that is that that takes the city of Chicago right out of the mix. Goop. Gone. Regardless of what happens, that's a really unique story, that they're not staying. They are clear that they are not staying. Now, as is reported, there are people who have been involved with the virtual meetings, right, where they were displaying, hey, these are our options. Indiana is a legit contender. And one of the things that Indiana has it's in favor has in its favor is that the state of Indiana has already said, yep, we're good to go with this. Illinois has said, that's basically, that was my impression of J.B. Pritzker. Can I get a ruling on that there, producer Carl? Can I get a solid? No? Pretty solid. Right. Right. I'm the governor. I'm a fool. Yet I'm a billionaire. I picked radio, ladies and gentlemen. Yep. Radio. Who wants a, who wants a career with no longer. Oh, God, I screwed up the joke. I got myself so upset. I could have, could have been a hedge fund guy, but nope, I wanted to talk to people. What a yutz. This is interesting stuff. This is interesting stuff. It should be known that the Illinois legislature adjourns May 31st.

So they have some time, but they haven't yet moved on the legislation. Indiana is in the running. May 19th, May 20th, the Bears give an update at the NFL quarterly meeting in Orlando. Here's a question. Have we invited any of the Bears officials to the Indy 500? Just to show them how absolutely rabid Hoosiers are about things that happen. Now, listen, it's the Indy 500. So you got to, you know, nothing gets people more absolutely out of their mind, awesome, excited than the Indy 500. But, oh, there's going to be a lot of excitement for an Indiana stadium. People are going to show up. It's going to be good stuff. Good stuff. And so we're clear, Bears. We've already given you the great deal. The great deal is who we are. The great deal is what we already have as a world here. So we don't need to give anything else. We're not going to give anything else. We're doing plenty and you are contributing. And that's a nice little partnership. So let's just do this. Don't wait. Don't wait. Don't drag it out. Don't see what they're going to give you because they can never give you the tax better society. They can never give you the income. They can never give you the growth opportunity. How do we help Lake County grow from this and create opportunities that better Lake County and then the state? We'd all be better off if Lake County was better off. He's already said that he would reduce troops in Germany. This after Friedrich Merz, the chancellor, went at him. Oh, this war in Iran is ridiculous. This is terrible. This is just so foolish. We're not getting anything done. I do not believe that we're not getting anything done. I think that is a silly argument. But now Trump is discussing reductions in Italy and Spain. Italy has not been of any help to us. And Spain has been horrible, absolutely horrible. Now, allow me to describe the difference here. We're not going to pull any troops of any significance out of Italy. Our relationship with Giorgia Meloni in Italy is too good. It doesn't make any sense. It's just something that is said. There is no more relationship with Spain because Spain has decided to fall. Spain is giving itself up to the communists. Spain is giving itself up to the Islamists. It's over. Over. The only people who don't know this yet are the Spaniards. In the UK, it is almost over. And I do make the argument that the way Charles presented himself, Charles III presented himself here with President Trump and in front of Congress, If he could do that with his own parliament, he could make things different. He could. He has this capability. Don't get me wrong. Dude's a tree hugger. Don't get me wrong. The guy's a bit of a wackadoo. Always has been. But what he presented here was of value and it was appreciated. If he can present that level of strength, we have to be strong on Ukraine, we have to be strong against the Islamist threat, which is right now in the streets of London. You don't have to worry so much about what's going on in Kiev as you have to worry about what's happening in Piccadilly. Go make that statement to your own people and watch them respond. They're waiting for it. That statement will never come in Spain. Pulling the troops from Spain to the extent that we have a large amount of troops in terms of bases or other places, yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if that took place. As long as it does not affect strategic interests, do it. But when Spain is already affecting strategic interest and not allowing airspace to be flown over, it's over. And this is going to mean a change to NATO? Yes, it's going to mean a change to NATO. It's okay. The idea that the thing lasts for forever. Nothing lasts for forever. The only thing I'm trying to make last just a little bit longer is us. And that might mean changes to the other things. As for Germany, I, you know, I don't see us getting rid of bases for sure.

But it was a bit of a nutty statement from the chancellor. But as we've discussed, they're all engaged in their own levels of local politics, right? How they are perceived by their own people. All politics are local as the line goes, which brings us to the chat room. If you follow the show there on the YouTube's, we've got the chat rooms and the kittens are in the chat room and they're very, very good people. And the discussion is about gas prices. As we now see gas prices, are we over $5 a gallon in Indiana? Someone check with Ryan Hedrick. Are we over $5 a gallon? We were at $4.99 the other day. We see the barrel price moving. Right now, that barrel price and I'll get into more of it is down a little bit from where I saw it yesterday, where the West Texas crude is now at $105 a barrel, but still over $100 a barrel. $5 gallon gas will make people say, what are we doing here? Even if you're not really paying attention, you see a five at the front of your per gallon price. You're like, what in the world? What's going on out here? You are out of your mind. You're like, what is this? And if that is what the Midwest is now feeling, you better believe that there are calls to senators and calls to members of Congress. You better believe that there are questions. We should be clear that even people like myself, I do two things. A, I am fully in favor of the elimination of the regime for the safety and security of the nation. And also, I'm also very fully aware that I don't have a commute. I know this. I am cognizant of it constantly.

You're already in a commute situation and now you're paying $5. That has an effect on how you live. It has an effect on how you shop. It has an effect on how you go out to eat. It is about to have an effect on what you plan for the summer. Vacations? Travel. If you have to plan for $5 a gallon gas and you want to do a road trip with the family, that road trip all of a sudden takes you from Greenwood to fishers and you go, this is nice, right back. Like that's the road trip. It affects everything. And we'd be fools to think otherwise. And without question, just because I don't have a commute. I admit, I don't have a commute. Very cognizant that you do. And while I favor these actions, all politics are local. And since no great sales job has been done regarding the terrorist activities of the Iranian regime, nor their nuclear ambitions, which is very clear and very obvious, and that Barack Obama did nothing but help them along, people don't have a... system, a value system by which they say, well, we are in this and here's the greater result. They're saying what about my kids? What about my vacation? What about my 401K? What about my life? It's a legitimate argument. And they're saying 401K because things are costing them an arm and a leg, although the 401Ks may be up right now because the markets have been moving. None of this works out well for the Republicans for the midterms. None of it. Yet every single indication for the Democratic Party is that they are in total disarray. And there is a conversation happening that it's this parallel kind of conversation. It doesn't make any sense. If the Democrats are in total disarray. How in the world are they leading going into the midterms? And if the gas prices is going to keep Republicans from winning, why am I still hearing about Democrats in disarray? You would think they'd be able to rally around just one subject without being lunatics. And the answer is nope. It's weird what's going on. It's like neither side, we'll call it sides for the sake of this conversation, can figure out how to take advantage of its opportunity.

That's insane. But Trump has to be very aware. $5 gallon gas in the Midwest right here in Indiana, that's going to make people say what the bloody heck is going on here. And moves have to be made to bring that down. That is all. That's the political reality. That is the realpolitik of the thing. He was arrested, transported, uh, to jail, uh, where, uh, he is currently being held without bond. Intimidation against the public official possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia. There's a mugshot as well. I am no fan of lieutenant governor. I think that he has presented himself in a very poor light. I would say this directly to him and not even bat an eye. I think that if you want to call me arrogance, a kitten, I don't care. What does that matter? You're the lieutenant governor. What I do is inconsequential. Why don't you act like a lieutenant governor and not like a podcaster? Don't start fights with the Westfield marching band. Who, by the way, is in the right. They did nothing wrong. Carmen is satanic. You're a prude. You're like one of these pure tactical leftists who want to go around scolding everybody. But when you claim he is involved in some kind of AI ridiculousness and you have no proof, I ask you what you think you're doing.
