The new mantra from the media is, we got duped, which is basically the takeoff of Marion Barry saying that, you know what, set me up. Tony Katz, 93 WIBC, good morning. Molly Jong Fast, that is her name. Molly Jong Fast has never been an intellectual. She's desperately always wanted to be Rachel Maddow her whole life, even got the glasses to match, found some kind of vocal fright. Could be her voice. They've been talking about this guy, the original person who recruited Graham Platner, and you listen to this guy, and you're like, why does he talk like a Kardashian? So I assume now that they're all just affect. But it could just be the way someone talks. It's what she has to say. That's more alarming. We believed that Graham Platner was a good guy because they lied to us and we were just duped. You know, a lot of us, I interviewed him for my podcast. I've talked to his team. When the first New York Times article came out, I said, This reads sort of funny. What else is there? Is there something else coming out? And everyone told me up and down. Absolutely not. And I think all of us heard that same thing from him, from his team, nothing else coming out. This is clearly a misunderstanding. There's nothing more coming out. We were sold an arc, a character arc of a person who had blacked out, but now no longer did that behavior. I should have asked him when I interviewed him if he wasn't drinking still. Because there's only one way you get those blackouts, and that's from drinking. And so the idea we were sold this character arc, this person who gets better, who got better, but he wasn't maybe better. You know, a lot of us, I interviewed. Now. You just listened to 58 seconds of that, and I should really apologize because you're never going to get those 58 seconds of your life back. That is what they do on MS now. That's considered intellectual thought. He had the Nazi tattoo credible rape allegations, or I should say credible sexual abuse allegations, and you know the New York Times absolutely messed with the story. And you were sold a character arc. Okay. No one believes you. Next, you're going to tell me that Joe Biden was fine. Why not just tell me that Ted Robert F. Kennedy Jr. wasn't driving the car? You were sold a character arc. Sure. What next? Ilhan Omar keeps kosher? What else do you have that you are sold? There's a lot of embarrassment going on right now. You, I see, no, wrong word, Tony, not embarrassment. Just trying to do enough to cloud the record so they believe they can get on with their day without being people who supported a Nazi.

There's a lot of people trying, you know, sometimes, sometimes, can I say it in the crude way? Sometimes you can take as many showers as you want, but you can't undo the fact that you had sex with the fat girl? You. You can't get that off you. All the showers in the world, you went back to your ex. You can't. That's that that stain, that patina is always going to remain. The national media has to just accept the fact that they were fine with a Nazi running for office. And for the record, they still are. Because they're all demanding that whoever that Maine picks next, they have the same values. Now, you notice, I didn't go into a whole history of who Graham Platner is and what's going on. I assumed you knew. He's a Democrat running for Senate in Maine. And yeah, Nazi tattoo and yes, credible accusers, as it seems to be, saying that they were sexually abused by him, right? He's innocent until proven guilty of no doubt. But the whole Democratic establishment, except for John Fetterman, I think Ritchie Torres, backed this guy. And now Democrats want someone exactly like him to take his place as he has dropped out of the race because of establishment pressure, except he hasn't dropped out yet. He hasn't filed the paperwork yet. He might wait until the very end, till the deadline, so they can then appoint somebody new to take his place. Or maybe he won't, which is what I'm hoping. I'm really hoping he does not. Democrats should have to run this guy. But that woman you heard, Mali Zhang Fast, that is just an encapsulation of where the media is. How can I make it seem like, oh, I didn't mean to do anything wrong. I didn't mean to support a Nazi. I didn't know any better. The journalist got duped. Didn't dig, just took what they were told. That seems to be the reason. Why he took a different Air Force one back from Turkey. The Israelis sharing the intel they have about a plot to kill the president. These are the same Iranians that the Zohran Mamdani team in New York, Zohran Mamdani, the mayor, his team tried to meet with Iran while they were in town for the UN meetings. That's not a joke. The mayor of New York who wants to arrest Benjamin Netanyahu on site wants to meet with the Iranian terrorist regime and tried to through a proxy. See, I don't think it was just this woman. I think it was for him. That's my take.

You elect Islamists. What do you think is going to happen? New York. I mean, it's a good message for the rest of us. Some people believe in America and some people don't. And we should say there's a difference. So according to the story, not only do the Iranians now have signs up around Tehran that say kill Trump. Now, you never know whether that stuff's real. Is it AI? There's a bunch of photos and images out there. It's just a question of, is everybody being duped by the imagery? The story goes that while the Israelis are not commenting, that the objective is to find a way to take Trump out. Now, for a guy who just gave you a three-month ceasefire, I would think they like them. I would think that they were a fan. I guess not. There is no question that after a conversation that Trump had with Benjamin Netanyahu, Benjamin Netanyahu is looking to get back in the fight. I don't think it's a question of, hey, do you need us? I think they're trying to figure out which place they can be of most effect if the United States is going to continue bombing the Iranian regime because the memorandum of understanding failed. Now. Have they said it failed? No, they haven't used those words. They haven't said that this alleged deal that we put together three weeks ago is a complete and total disaster. I wouldn't be surprised if we heard in the next couple of days that we have, the Iranians have returned to the memorandum of understanding and everything's hunky-dory. It's not what I want. It's absolutely frustrating. I think it makes President Trump look weak and dottering. I think it makes him look wishy-washy and it's the last thing in the world that he wants. Nobody is giving him good advice on that subject. If President Trump was told, you know, you look like Barack Obama right now with his red lines, he would change. It's the last look in the world you want. It's exactly how he's looking. not having finished a job that he started regarding the Iranian regime. And the only way it ends is when you end them. But the Israelis would absolutely want to see that happen. Now, that's also true of the Saudis. It's also true of Bahrain. It's also true of the Emirates and UAE. It's true of the Jordanians. It's just true of the Middle East. They all want this to be done. They want this regime gone. Does an assassination plot, plan, desire, scheme, does that amp up the stakes? I don't think it does for President Trump. I think he looks at that and says that's just part of this game. You get into this business. This is the story. This is it. They've already shot him. Other people have wanted to shoot him. I think that he's, I do, I do think that he is a nerd to that.

And we can get into some reasons why at another time. I don't know, though, if Trump wants the Israelis to be a part of what's next, which is something I could very much appreciate, although I can't imagine that he won't take the assist in the place he needs the assist. If he's like, we could really use some people over there, we do this thing over here, maybe he'll just take the intel. But would he like to, I think, keep Benjamin Netanyahu on the sidelines in this next phase for as long as he can? Yes, I do. Will he? I believe that is the medical answer. I have no idea. No clue. And then there was, but I should note that Iran last night, a barrage of missiles against other Middle East nations. going at it. Not not this is this has ramped up are we back to a full scale war not necessarily and you'll note that President Trump has not engaged Congress yet via the War Powers Act to say we're back to this so There are going to be some real questions. Now that we're 48 hours in. That's the timeline by which you have to brief Congress to give you the really the 90 days and reset the War Powers Act. That has not happened as we know what we might get word today that the briefing has taken place. Then there's Jeb Bush. And you're like, I'm sorry, what year is this? Interesting, interesting conversation that the former governor of Florida, former presidential candidate is having. After giving credit and praise to President Trump for taking out the Iranian nuclear threat, he was reminding everybody in a speech that he was giving that the Iranians have done very good work with drones. And it's been a problem for the United States, not necessarily very, very hard because these are low-cost drones that have been able to do great damage. Shaheed drones, S-H-A-H-E-D. And then he noted that, you know, Cuba has 300 of these things. And he starts pointing to press reports that there are 300 of these Shahid drones right now in Cuba. 90 miles from Key West. Well, you got my attention, sir. I'd give you a high five like it was a presidential debate, but no, no, we're grown men and grown men don't high five. Unless you're at the sporting event, you don't high five. You know, I believe that, right? You don't, you don't do it. Unless you're high fiving with a four-year-old. No, no, not a five-year-old. It was the mayor of New York, Zarnamandhi and his team of hapless commies. And they put out a map. The map... is of all the cool little enclaves that exist in New York. Right? All the cool spots that you can go to and they represent this community and that community and and cool thing here. And oh, they've got them all. They've got them all. I mean, there's a list. I'm staring at it right now. You got Chinatown, Korea town, there's little Africa, there's little Albania, little Caribbean, little Colombia, little Dominican Republic. There's little Odessa. That's in Brighton Beach. That's in Brooklyn. I know where that is. There's little Egypt. There's little Palestine. There isn't even a big Palestine. But somehow New York has a little Palestine, and they left off little Italy. Now, listen, you don't have to be someone who even likes New York, and you know of Little Italy. You've seen movies. You've heard stories. You know about the San Giro Festival. It's not out of the realm. It's an impossible thing to miss. But when the objective is erasure... Well, it kind of makes more sense, especially when you take a look at the history of Zohran Mamdani, who has taken photos of a statue of Christopher Columbus and has said, tear this down. You see, colonizer, colonizer and abusive and just another one of those evil white men. You've heard all of that before. Of course it connects. Of course it tracks because there is no possibility that Little Italy, when talking about immigrant enclaves, there's no way it gets left off of a map. It's an impossible thing to do. You're not... somehow lost to this reality, that under half of Americans think capitalism is working and there's less and less support for democracy. 48% believe that capitalism works compared to 60% who said so a decade ago. This survey released by the Wall Street Journal. Over 50, just 51% said that American capitalism was working not too well or not at all well. And 12% of Americans believe democracy is working extremely or very well in the U.S. compared to 56% who said it is working not very well or not at all well. Well, I guess they're right when you consider that people like Rashida Tlaib and Zohran Mamdani and Zohran Mamdani and Bernie Sanders can get elected. No, wait, that's the people voted, right, right. So, okay, so I guess for them it's working fine, but somehow it's not. You gave up academia, and I don't mean you, we gave up academia, we gave up culture, and this is the result. This is not surprising. We did this. The real question is why do we still do this? Why do we pay any attention to the teachers union? Why haven't we broken this in two? The so-called educators out there who push the hatred of America. Why do we allow this in our schools? And you'll note that they are so committed. To this being the case that when you as a parent go to school board meetings and ask questions, the Department of Justice under then Attorney General Merrick Garland dubs you a domestic terrorist. That's how this works. If you still, if anyone still needs proof, that's a level of uns seriousness. Those are people who want these bad things to happen and want their children to continue to be. indoctrinated into the hating of their own nation. It's a valueless proposition from valueless people. No communist, no socialist brings a value, never have. Bernie Sanders has never held a job. Zohran Mamdani has never held a job. They've never created anything in their lives. Never once have they created anything. All they do is take and they get takers to say, we should be able to take more. And let's utilize the system to break the system to take more. And let's sow resentment and so hatred and so anger and so fear. And let's otherize people. And let's utilize Olinsky's rules for radicals, pick the target, personalize it, freeze it, and polarize it.

I mean, this is just playing out exactly as we knew it could. The question is, what do we do? Part of the issue that you'll see amongst the influencer class and others is that there will be a conversation only about, look how terrible this is, and then get some outrage and get some clicks and maybe get some dollars and that's that. What we should be asking is what do we do about it? We bring it back to our beloved Indiana. It's time for the General Assembly to start rethinking education without a teachers union where teachers are hired by these municipalities and there is no union connection. It is time for the General Assembly to work out new situations by which the parents is always in charge. And the educator is hired and the educator can be fired. It's time for Indiana University. and Purdue and any other school that offers degrees in education to ask itself what it is that it actually teaches. And if any of these teachers want to start with these professors, want to start with things like land acknowledgments, that's not somebody we have as a professor in our education department. It's you. It is the demands that we make that one must have a civil society in order to have a civil society. But the communist is not civil. The people who teach the destruction of Western civilization are not civil. The idea that we don't think that being a republic is of value. Now, I'll note that the polls all talked about democracy, which is even worse because some country or some fool out there might think we are actually as a country of democracy. We're not. We're a republic. It's a fundamentally different thing in a much more valuable thing. It's us not putting enough emphasis on the demands that we have to have. If you want our money, you do these things. You don't get to just take it. We would rather fight you in the streets. And Mitch Daniels, who's now the interim president of Purdue, and Pam Witten, the president of IU, and here, there, and everywhere, they have to be told this has to change. And the governor has to say this has to change. And the general assembly says this has to say, whatever dollars we might give, this all has to change. We have demands. We don't care what you think. We care what is. professors that push the destruction of America. The hatred of America are not worthy professors. They don't have to have jobs. I don't care if they go homeless. Screw them. Why do we care? Look at the damage being done. Look at the damage being done everywhere and ask yourself, have we created success? And the answer is clearly no. But those people think we've created success because this is what they wanted. Who's going to win? No teachers union in Indiana is worth its salt. Zero. They can all go. You'll be fine. They haven't created a value. Your kid is not smarter. The education hasn't gotten better. It's over. As a matter of fact, from the polling data, the education has not only gotten worse, it has gotten them exactly what they want. The country being hated. Maybe we should stop this.
