During his cabinet meeting today, he said he won't be rushed into a deal. They thought they were going to outweigh me, you know, we'll outweigh him. He's got the midterms. I don't care about the midterms. Look what happened last night. The president also said the straight-of-form moves will be open to everybody. And warned Oman, which Iran has suggested, would help manage. the waterway not to interfere.
We're going to watch over it. We'll watch over it, but nobody's going to control it. That's part of the negotiation that we have. They would like to control it. Nobody's going to control it. It's international waters and Oman will behave just like everybody else who will have to blow them up. According to Iranian State TV,
the Memorandum of Understanding being negotiated between Iran and the U.S. would lift the U.S. blockade of Iranian ports in return for the reopening of the straits of pre-war levels. However, the White House says, the report isn't true. Meantime, Trump also suggested an Iran deal could hinge on more nations joining the Abraham Accords, aimed at normalizing ties with Israel. But when pressed, he declined to say that any agreement would be contingent on adding
