It's the Hammer and Nigel weekend show on 93 WIBC. See if I get this straighthammer, all the economists, all these experts were forecasting doom and gloom in terms of jobs. Yes. In September. You remember it was like like 50,000? Only 50,000. We have an update on that number back from September, don't we? Bit a few revisions. And the revisions. Always kind of the case when you're dealing with jobs reports. With the Biden administration, we'd hear these amazing numbers. And then CNN and MSNBC would have hours upon hours of programming where they were taking down their pants and flogging their dolphins. And then the revisions would. come out and take away everything that was basically recorded. All the momentum. Here I think we have the opposite. Right. Oh, they just loved to rake Donald Trump over the coals with some of these numbers sometimes, these forecasts, don't they? Right. So, the United States has revised the September jobs report, and they've added 119,000 jobs. This is non-farm payroll additions far above what the estimate was supposed to be. Which was? 50,000. How are you? Virtually 70,000 off.
Maybe the people doing the math went to IPS. I don't know. Going to get such hate mail from the IPS people. Nobody's going to give Donald Trump credit. Nobody's going to be talking about this. That's a big, big number and a big revision. Now, we're not going to know what the hell happened on October because most of October we were shut down. Correct. But September, man, 119,000, the estimate was 50,000. Previous months also had some numbers go in the right direction, but more than the job numbers themselves. And you and I have been saying this for a long time. Anybody can get fired up about the number of jobs, but what type of jobs are they? But how are the real wages? Real wages are the actual money you make compared to what inflation is at. Well, per the latest report, real wages out placing... inflation and manufacturing hours are on the increase. Now, it's not great. I wish we had more manufacturing, but everything's going in the right direction. Got a lot of work to do. Right. Got a lot more work to do, but these are great signs. You need to have your wages outpacing inflation. Wages going up, inflation going down. That's what we're talking about here. Vice President JD Vance, he did an event with Breitbart earlier today, and they surprised him with these job numbers on the stage. Like the report came out while they were having their conversation. Here's his first reaction. Wages continue to weigh outpaced inflation. If you go back to the three years of the Biden administration, the average American worker actually lost about $3,000 of take-home pay. In the first 10 months of the Trump economy, we've increased take-home pay by about $1,200 adjusting for inflation. So that's a huge, huge thing, and this job's report confirms that. You have the number of manufacturing hours worked in the economy is actually going up. You see the private sector is really driving this economic growth and is driving the job creation. We are seeing the job growth go to native-born American citizens. Wow. And you're not going to hear word one about it on legacy corporate media. That was from Breitbart. They put on this big policy discussion with the vice president. Trump signed the bill to release the Epstein files. Okay? So he signed everything. The legislation requires that the Justice Department disclose all of the investigative material it has on Jeffrey Epstein within 30 days. I can't wait to see what all the loopholes are in terms of revealing information. I can't wait to see how somebody's going to. You know, obviously you want the victim's names redacted, but what loopholes are they going to be? So that is the key one here. The Attorney General Pam Bondi has already cited concerns about identifying victims. Of course.
And images of child sexual abuse taking place. the information they have on those will be redacted. Just names. That's all I want. And then I did hear today that it's not going to matter whether the names here, they're not going to take into consideration whether it's embarrassing or a conflict of interest or they named after. That was encouraging what I heard today in terms of like any sort of lists, names, associates, whatever. Right. Like, oh, this could be embarrassing if we don't. You know, redact this name. None of that crap. And a lot, again, there's probably a thousand people that did business with Epstein that had nothing to do with anything with the pervert island. Right. You know? And what I'm afraid of is that we're going to get all this information and nobody's going to go to jail. Like, I've set the over under on arrests made at 0.5. Okay? That's the same prop that you could get on interceptions for Davis Mills tonight, the Houston Texans quarterback, as they play Buffalo. The total is 0.5 interceptions. I'm also setting that as the number of arrests that will be made of people having sex with children down at Pervert Island. And that's awful. But I'm just being realistic here. Do you think anybody's going to get arrested? Well, hell, the only two people that have been arrested, one out of two of them is dead. And the other one is living in Club Fed. Right. Playing pickleball right now. I'm talking about Ghislaine Maxwell, probably brushing up on her helicopter piloting skills in some sort of simulator. We've got some Michigan-related legal style. Legal. Crime, punishment, judges, legal stuff. Legal stuff. I was in Michigan over the weekend. I was nowhere near this place we were about to talk about. But I will ask you this just real quick. You asked me the most random question. Hey, were you anywhere near Coldwater, Michigan over the weekend? That's where a Ponderosa is at. asked me with a straight face. He goes, hey, I know you were in Michigan over the weekend where you near cold water? And I go, I don't know where that's at. He goes, there's a ponderosa. I can't still laugh. There's a ponderosa in cold water, Michigan. How do you know that? Because I thought about making a road trip there, okay? Is that what you want from me? Because it's true. All right, we only got a couple minutes. What happened in Rome? So in Romeo, Michigan, which I believe is on the complete opposite side of the state. It is. From where I was at, New Buffalo, it is. The police rated a massage parlor. Oh, my goodness. Now, what's crazy is that the massage parlor in question had a big sign up on the window that clearly said, warning, no sexual. That's it. Warning, no sexual. No sexual what?
No. That's it. That's it. But the police did find sexual going on inside. The Umi spa, they have made multiple arrests because of prostitution taking place inside. What's the problem? Why in the world would the police have any suspicion whatsoever when they pass by a massage parlor with a giant sign that says warning no sexual? And then you go inside, you slide him a 20. Sexual? Okay, come on back. I think sexy time would have been a better term. Or no sexual intercourse or you finish the sentence. Warning, no sexual. Hey, Nigel, so, I mean, it just wasn't on the air. Was it off the cuff question? So you were in Michigan over the, were you near Coldwater? And I go, man, I don't know where Coldwater is. No, he goes, yeah, there's a Ponderosa in Coldwater. It just can't. Is it still there? Yes, it's still open. How do you know? I've researched where there's ponderosa's, okay? There's one in southern Indiana that's still open. It also says no sexy time at the ponderosa in cold water. Right above the wing station. Warning, no sexual. It's the Hammer and Nigel show. You're listening to The Hammer and Nigel show. D, D, D, D, D, D, D, D, D, D. I'm Nigel. Jason Hammer right over there. Trump. wrote a scathing tear down of Marjorie Taylor Greene and said she is no longer, he said he is no longer endorsing her. Large Marge. Tell them a large Marge sent you. Oh, man. Marjorie Taylor Greene. You down with Marjorie Taylor Greene? Well, not DT. He called her Marjorie Taylor Greene. Oh, no. And wacky Marjorie. in a social media post because all she's doing is complaining about everything that he does, especially in regards to the Epstein situation. He ripped her for going on CNN, ripped her for going on the view, and then jumped off of Air Force One, had a little press gaggle, and somebody said that Marjorie Taylor Greene was concerned that the MAGA folk were going to threaten her and be violent to her in some way. Take a listen to Trump. could be in danger because of the rhetoric? Her life is in danger? Who's that? Marjorie Taylor Greene, she says. Marjorie Taylor Greene. I don't think her life is in danger. I don't think, frankly, I don't think anybody cares about her. So, I mean, she participated in this rhetoric. Everything we're talking about here. She was a major participant in it. But now she's gone on The View and she's gone on CNN and she's a different person, Nige. Here she is on CNN talking to Dana Bash about what really broke up the good relationship between Large Marge and the Orange Man.
Unfortunately, it has all come down to the Epstein files, and that is shocking. And, you know, I stand with these women. I stand with rape victims. I stand with children who are in terrible sex abuse situations, and I stand with survivors of trafficking and those that are trapped in sex trafficking. And I will not apologize for that. I believe the country deserves transparency in these files. I don't believe that rich, powerful people should be protected if they have done anything wrong. Well, it looks like we're going to get that. Right. Listen, I can't believe I'm in this position here, but I'm kind of with Large Marge here. Now, I wouldn't have gone on The View. I wouldn't have gone on CNN, but we've all been wanting the Epstein files released. Listen, Donald Trump is not having relations with kids because had he been doing it, we've said it a million times, the left would have already used it against them. They would have already had the information. So if he's covering up for somebody, that's a shame. Let's find out who it is. Let's find out who's involved here. But I want to tell everybody, be prepared to be let down because you know you're not going to get any names when all these files are dumped. And a side note, I think Representative Green from Georgia. She did say that she had a change of heart in terms of like the toxic political rhetoric that she was always involved in. That's what she was known for. She was a flamethrower. She was a flamethrower. And then after what happened with Charlie Kirk changed her. So she's maybe scaled it back a little bit. And that's maybe what this 180 is with her. You can be pro-Trump. and also say, he's handled the Epstein thing about as bad as anybody could possibly handle anything. Another. Kind of feud. Okay. It's an older feud, but somebody's using it as a springboard. And that's somebody. Is lying Ted? Lying, Ted. Oh, no. Ted Cruz, lying, Ted. Holds a Bible high, puts it down and then he lies. Lies. Lies, lies, lies, lies. According to Axios. Ted Cruz, Texas Senator, laying the groundwork for a 28 presidential bid, wants to go toe-to-to-to against JD Vance, and he's using his little scuttled butt with Tucker Carlson as part of his campaign. Axios reporting that Ted Cruz is endearing himself to the powerful... pro-Israel donors, many who aligned with Nikki Haley in the last election, but now there's not going to be a Donald Trump involved here, so they feel like they've got a shot. This is from Axios, quote, by poking at Tucker Carlson's isolation.
Isonelationist foreign policy views, accusing him of anti-Semitism and more. Ted Cruz is putting himself on a collision course with VP JD Vance, a Tucker Carlson ally widely seen as the 28 frontrunner. Very, very interesting. Tucker Carlson has a unique view about the whole thing with Israel. He's like you can either be on Ted Cruz and like give Israel a bunch of money and prop them up. Or you can say Israel has some problems too. But when you say Israel has some problems too, you're accused of being an anti-Semite. Correct. I mean, that's kind of the very base level of where all this is coming from. And there's a lot of folks on the right that are upset with Tucker Carlson. Yes. And Tucker Carlson and Ted have had heat for a while. It's not just about Israel. It's about Iran. So let's take a little trip down memory lane here. This is the last time I think Ted Cruz and Tucker Carlson had an interview. Ted Cruz was all for bombing the bejesus out of Iran. Tucker Carlson was like basically calling him a warmonger. He doesn't know what he's talking about. listen. I don't know the population at all. I don't know the population. You don't know the population in the country you seek to topple? How many people living around? I need two million. Okay. Yeah. How could you not know that? I don't sit around memorizing population tables. Well, it's kind of relevant because you're calling for the overthrow of the government. Why is it relevant whether it's 90 million or 80 million or 100 million? Why is that relevant? Because if you don't know anything about the country. I didn't say I don't know anything about it. Okay, what's the ethnic mix of Iran? They are Persians and predominantly Shia. Okay. You don't know anything about Iran. So actually the country. Okay. I am not the Tucker Carlson expert on Iran. You're a senator who's calling to the overthrow of the government. You're the one who plays. the country. No, you don't know anything about the country. You're the one who claims they're not trying to murder Donald Trump. You're the one who can't figure out of saying you don't believe General Soleimani and you said it was bad. You don't believe they're trying to murder Trump. Yes, I do. Because you're not calling for military strikes against them in retaliation. If you really believe that, we're carrying out military strikes today. You said Israel was. Right. With our help. So that was just part one. This thing went on for like 10 minutes and here's how it kind of ultimately ended up. I've said we. Israel is leading them, but we're supporting them. Well, this, you're breaking news here because the U.S. government last night denied the National Security Council spokesman Alex Pfeiffer denied on behalf of Trump that we were acting on Israel's behalf in any offensive capacity at all. We're not bombing them. Israel's bombing them. You just said we were. We are supporting Israel. You're a senator. If you're saying the United States government is a, we're with Iran right now. People are listening. So, Nad, you're a Tucker Carlson guy from back in the day. Yeah. I don't know how much of his new stuff you take in, but you used to watch his television program nightly. Nightly, yes. Where are we at with this here? Well, you know, Donald Trump.
did end up bombing Iran. And it seemed to work out pretty well. Right. And I don't know if Ted Cruz is going to laying the groundwork for 2028. I think it's going to be JD Vance. Is there enough folks, though, that are tired of the whole Trump? era and that includes the people that are as vice president and Marco Rubio they want to go in a different direction they want to go back to Marco Rubio is a star they they all support donald trump so i i'm not sure i mean they are all 100 percent 110 percent behind donald trump and Marco Rubio could be another guy right if it's not JD Vance it could be Marco Rubio in You know who's also considering a run for a different position, California's governor, Fartwell. No. Eric Swalwell, Fartwell. Fartwell. contemplating a run to be the governor in California. Now, the front runner out there right now is this lunatic Katie Porter who doesn't want to do any sort of interviews where she doesn't know all the questions. But Eric Swalwell, the same guy that is best known for farting on television, thinks that he could be the guy. Which brings us to great moments in Eric Swalwell history. This happened recently when... friend of the show, Alex Stein, primetime Alex Stein, chased down Congressman Eric Swalwell and asked him about that whole scandal of him hooking up with a Chinese spy. Eric, is this Fang Fang the Chinese spy, Eric? Remember when you slept with that Chinese spy, Eric? Why don't you ever talk about that? Fang, Fang? Remember you're banging Fang Fang? People are saying that she gave you. Is that true? This is a guy's banging Chinese spies. Nobody investigates you, Eric, why is that? Nobody investigates this guy banging Chinese spies. You know? I mean, he was literally walking right next, or Eric Swalwell, asking him this question. In his own unique way, he's got a point. Like, for four years, we heard Donald Trump is a Russian asset. We've got a dude on the Intel committee that was banking a Chinese spy, and nobody seems to talk about it. The honeypot, Eric Swalwell, by the way, has ties to southern Indiana. Just saying, it's all I'll say about that right now. Alice and I were talking about this, I think on Friday. If you're Eric Swalwell, what's the most embarrassing moment of your life? Getting caught as a member of the Intel Committee, hooking up with a Chinese spy, or farting on MSNBC. The evidence is uncontradicted that the president used taxpayer dollars to ask the Ukrainians to help them cheat in election.
It's not an edited piece of audio that was as aired. Oh. What's more humiliating if you're Eric Swalwell? The fart or Fang Fang? Well, he got away with the Fang Fang Fang. That ain't nothing to him. I mean, the fart lives forever. If you remember the last time he ran for something high profile, it was the presidency in 2020. And it was a bad campaign. It was like worse than Kamalus. And there was some event he did. He was on the stage and he thought he was delivering a line where everybody would clap. And he was expecting applause. And nothing happened. But I will always be real with you. I will be bold without the bold. My wife and I. What? It might as well have sounded like this. But I will always be real with you. I will be bold without the bold. My wife and I. Like, he thought that was a line. He thought that was a zinger. And all we really got out of there was a Jeb Bush kind of moment. But I will always be real with you. I will be bold without the bold. Please clap. It's the Hammer and Nigel show. What is Toyota affordability? It's buying smart. Your local Toyota dealer has great deals available today on Tacoma, Tundra, and Forerunner with the space and features for any adventure. Toyota is known for building long-lasting vehicles, meaning your truck will hold its value for years to come. Shoptojota.com to find out more. Toyota, let's go places. Trump administration getting a lot of peace deals done throughout the world in his first, in his first year, like, I don't know, six, seven, six, seven. Oh, stop it. I want to throw hot coffee on your face right now. I can't my kids still do it. What do you want me to? But this one, like if he could get this one done, this would be huge. And this is like Nobel Peace Prize. If the Israel, Gaza, Qatar, Hamas thing doesn't get Trump a Nobel Peace Prize, this one will. And of course I'm talking about Russia, Ukraine. Can he pull it off, do? There's a new peace deal on the table hammer. And it really just, you know. territorial concessions, surrendering of weapons by Ukraine, reducing the size of Ukraine's armed forces. You know, Washington Trump really pushing Volodymyr Zelensky to like, hey, this is it. Right. I mean, it's not going to get any better.
than this. You don't have the cards. You don't have the cards. When he was yelling at him in the White House. Yeah. In front of the press. And look, Trump's guy, when I say Trump is getting this done, it's not, it's Trump's envoy. He's got guys doing this for him. And his boy, Steve Witkoff, who is an old real estate mogul in. New York did the Qatar Hamas Israeli Gaza thing. Right. Along with Jared Kushner. And so he's got this Steve Witkoff guy on Ukraine, Russia. So I think there are two things to keep in mind here. Remember that Seinfeld episode where they gave Jerry's reservation away? And he had that whole bit about, you kept the reservation, but you didn't hold the reservation. And that's the most important part. When it comes to these peace deals, like we've seen with the Israelis and Palestinians, it's great to say you've got a peace deal. And everybody could say that. But then you have to stop bombing each other. You have to abide by the peace deal. And that's been a little problematic for the Israelis and the Palestinians. A little bit, but it's still holding. Still holding, but it's a little dicey. And I could totally see. Volodymyr Zelensky and Puti Tang saying, yeah, sure, we'll play ball. We got a peace deal. And the very next day, Puti Tank sends more missiles over. Or drones or whatever. Right. So there's two aspects to this. Just like the reservation, you make it and then you hold it. You've got to agree to peace and then abide by peace. And really, like Jerry says, that's the most important part. Oh, do you want to hear from an idiot? Nige, you want to hear from an idiot? Uh, sure. Why not? You got hog set on speed dial? Even better. I've got Representative Jasmine Crockett. Oh. Flame throwing congressional rep from Texas. She's an idiot. Timu, Mark Carney B. She was on a rampage on the House floor. And this has to do with the Jeffrey Epstein situation. She was naming names of people, those no good rotten Republicans who took donations from Jeffrey Epstein. Folks who also took money from somebody named Jeffrey Epstein as I had my team dig in very quickly. Mitt Romney, the NRC, Lee Zeldin, George Bush, Wynne, McCain Palin, Rick Lazio.
I just want to be clear. If this is the standard that we're going to make, just know we're going to expose it all and just know that the FEC filings, they are available for everybody to review. This is absolutely ridiculous. You're right, Jasmine Crockett. Those files are available for everyone to review. And you got the wrong Jeffrey Epstein. Jeffrey Epstein that made the donations to all the names you rattled off that you were so proud that your team researched. Lee Zeldin for sure. Well, all of these. It was a doctor. It was an old elderly doctor whose name just happened to be Jeffrey Epstein. First of all, it's unfortunate that that's that guy's name, right? Sucks to be that guy. Bad, bad name. You know, he didn't do anything wrong. It just happens to be his name. What's your name, Dahmer? Jeffrey Dahmer. Not that, Jeffrey Dahmer. And this poor guy, he's a doctor, and these were small donations too. You would think that if it were the Jeffrey Epstein, the pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, it probably have a few zeros next to it, or maybe at the max. These are smaller donations to Republicans from Dr. Jeffrey Epstein, a completely different dude. And she knew that. And I think she did because here's why. I think you're giving her too much credit. what she said, and I've read about her explanation as to why she said that. She took, she said, like, for instance, Lee Zeldin took donations from A. Jeffrey Epstein. And you heard her at the beginning. Oh, my crew is trying to get this, you know, all gathered here just a few minutes. She did say these Jeffrey Epstein. And that's her excuse. Is that what she's limping to the finish line with? That she said, A, Jeffrey. Oh, nobody buys that crap. I do because she's trying to smear Lee Zeldin. That's the only reason why I do buy it is because she mentioned Zelda and Epstein in the same breath, but it wasn't the Jeffrey Epstein. It was a Jeffrey Epstein. And her hope is her stupid followers would share that on social media. Of course. Wow. This is where we're at politically. Unbelievable. By the way. It's funny she didn't mention guys like Chuck Schumer who actually did receive campaign donations from the Jeffrey Epstein in the 90s. Not Dr. Jeffrey Epstein. It's like $22,000 worth. Researchers are now saying that raccoons may be inching closer to becoming domestic pets.
Raccoons. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Study from the University of Arkansas Department of Biology. Found that raccoons are physically changing over time because they're interacting more with humans. And their faces are evolving. They actually look cuter. No. They're not doing as much dumpster diving. They're less disease-ridden. One biologist. They're less disease-ridden. To be fair, we say that about Matt Baer. I mean... One biologist says, quote, once wild animals start spending time in the proximity of people, they become a little bit less afraid and perhaps even start showing physical signs of domestication syndrome. Is that domestication syndrome? Right. That's a term? We have a couple of coons living under our deck, and at night sometimes I'll see them out like feeding under grass, and I'll pound on the window. Get out of here, go and get! Great moments and chewing away raccoons history. And they turn around and look at me like I'm a big a-hole and just go back to doing what they're doing, which is feeding. I don't think raccoons had middle fingers, but I think I just saw one. It's the Hammer and Nigel show. The CEO of Ford, Jim Farley, who I believe is in relation to Chris Farley, the late grade, Jim Farley says that he can't fill 5,000 mechanic jobs paying $120,000 per year right now. Quote, we are in trouble in this country. I can't fill 5,000 mechanic jobs paying $120,000 per year. What do we make of this? You probably better pump up the pay then, bud. I mean, if nobody's going for 120, go for 140. Right. It's not like this is a mom-and-pop pizza place where Ford is in danger of closing down. You know, they're not going to be able to pay their bills next month. This is Ford. So maybe instead of, oh, I don't know, making $25 million next year, you make $21 million as your salary. No. Oh, no. No, you can't do that. Because, like, I get, you know, like, if you are a McDonald's franchisee. owner and you're like, I can't afford to pay people $30 an hour minimum wage to make Big Macs. That's not our business model. I can't stay in business. But Ford can. Ford's got the money, right? Ford's got the money. And they've got what I've been told is a very strong union of workers. So I don't know. On one hand, I get being a business owner and you're like, what am I supposed to do? They're asking for these ridiculous things. But on the other hand, if you're
Ford, you're not quite the mom and pop pizza place, right? I just saw Rockstar Pizza in Brownsburg. Their ovens closed down. No. And they were freaking out. No. But then the community stepped up. And everybody said, hey, we're going to help you out. And they kept them going. And now they got their new oven. Like, that's different. That's awesome. But that's different than a mega place like Ford. Ford's got the money. Come on now. I mean, how does the labor market work? Labor, like. Labor sets the price, right? Not management. Right. It's the labor market. So you're right. The labor kind of sets the point to where they're willing to accept a job. Labor sets the price, not the management. So... You either play by their rules or you just say, we're going to figure out a way to do these jobs without employees. Maybe it's a machine. Maybe it's AI. Now, I don't think AI can get under your car and fix it, but I'm sure there's some nerd somewhere figuring out a machine that can. Either way, the cost is being passed on to the consumer. is you or I. Right. So if you can't afford to buy a Ford, then you make other plans. Again, that's the market, but that's also how the labor market works. They still sell Dotsons? Is the Chevy Chivet still out there somewhere? The Gremlin? Are they still producing the Gremlin by chance? Serious question. And maybe somebody in the... Well, we can't. Yeah, there's no Wi-Fi right now, so we can't do the YouTube chat or Twitter, really. It's the Chevy Cavalier out there. That was the first brand-new car I ever bought in my life in my early 20s. Okay. It was a Chevy Cavalier. And I put rims on it. Oh. And I had... Did you have tinted windows? Did you wear a lot of Dracar? I wore Dracar. I had tinted windows. I had a 12-stack CD player installed in the back with a... Gosh, an Alpine. Alpine speaker bumping? Not a speaker, the Alpine radio. The CD player. Was it the disposable one you could pop off and carry with you later on? Yes. Because that was such a power move. So people wouldn't steal it. Such a power move to walk into a place with your face of your CD player and put it in your pocket. Could you imagine me? What was I thinking putting, like I spit money to put rims on a Chevy Cavalier. Did it warrant any young lady taking her breeches off? Did anybody be like, oh, look at his car. I won't be needing these anymore. Did that happen? Yes or no? Because if it happened, then it was worth it. I don't think it happened as a direct result of me putting rims on my Chevy Cavalier. Let's put it that way. If they would have come out to your car and it would have been a regular Cavalier, but not the souped up cavalier, would the panties have dropped? That's a serious question, Nige. I don't think so. I don't think so. I don't think so. I don't think the rims. I think there was more my personal preference. Allison, you ever been turned on by somebody's car? No. No? No, not at all.
Okay. Nothing? No. Not a Corvette? No. Even if they walk out and they have their disposable face of their CD player, that doesn't turn you on a little bit? She doesn't even know what you're talking about. I have no idea what you're talking about there, no. When, like, I would have the factory, I had the factory radio pulled out of the Chevy Cavalier in 1999 when I was working at Axe. Like my first, my first full-time job.
