Do you believe these characters are weirdos? All right, Hammer, big question. When will gas prices start to go down? I feel like they did a little bit over the past day or so. Gas prices, I mean, that's it. I mean, that's the midterms. That's what everybody is worried about. You can talk about affordability. You can talk about mortgage rates. You could talk about grocery prices. But it's gas, the pump. That's the big deal right now. And the question is, when will they start to go down? They have a little bit already. Yeah, we saw about $15 cheaper per barrel today than, say, three days ago. But it's still not made its way to your gas pump just yet. So that's what you have to keep an eye on. And it's a big week with this war. So there's chatter that more talks may take place as early as Thursday because the Iranians... They're not keen on being drained financially. And with the U.S. blocking the Strait of Hormuz, that's what's happening. The ports. The Iranians can't ship their oil out and make their money. And honestly, this, right now, what's happening in that straight, it's almost having more of an effect than the bombs that have blown up their infrastructure. Yes, their leaders have been killed, wiped out. Their Navy, it's not existent. Their military depleted. But they still had money. Here, what the United States is doing blocking the traffic, yeah, they're not getting anything. And keep in mind, China and Russia, they get a buttload of oil from that straight. Not only a buttload, but they get it cheap ass as well. Right? And then there are other tankers that are coming to America, or at least the Gulf of America, to fill up. Right. Which could be, again, keep this in the back of your mind. Donald Trump may have said, well, we don't necessarily need anybody over there.
All the, you know, the Saudis, everybody in the Middle East, you can control the straits. We have enough to export and create that maybe we could start selling a little bit. Here is Vice President JD Vance on the price of gas. Well, you know, the president said that yes, gas prices are higher, yes, energy prices are higher. First of all, they're higher from a baseline where we've never had the terrible energy prices that we had of the last administration. So we come at this from a position of strength. But, Brett, absolutely. We know the American people are hurting. That's why that we're negotiating so aggressively to try to get the energy prices to come down. We're going to keep on working at it. I do think that we're in a place where we've accomplished our objectives. We can start to work. wind this thing down. I'd much rather wind this thing down with a big successful negotiation. But regardless, the president said, this is not going to go on forever. That's never his intention. And I think because of that, the energy prices, while painful, are not going to be around forever. And we're also looking at headlines hammer that say President of the United States, Donald Trump, is telling his envoy, his people, hey, go ahead and stay in Pakistan, go ahead and stay in Islamabad. And we may not be done with these negotiations yet. So which the envoy said, Easy for you to say from the White House, you want us to stay here in freaking Pakistan? No. How about no? How about you fly us back and then we'll come back again. At least we've got cable and Wi-Fi where we live. No. Do a Zoom meeting at the very least. Right. What is Toyota affordability?
