Now time for the seven things you'll be talking about today. Number seven. The Huntsville Botanical Gardens 30-year Galaxy of Lights display featuring a 1.5 mile choreographed trail with music and more who wants to be number one. on USA Today's Best Botanical Light Show's list, a prestigious list, if there ever was one, with many important winners, including the 1941 Botanical Light Show champions of Op, Alabama. You know the show. You've heard all about it. There's been many movies made. The Op Possible Dream? Come on, guys. After two second place finishes, the voting is open daily through December 1st. By the way, there is no 1941 possible dream. I just said all of that to pretend that this was some sort of prestigious thing. But apparently it is, and it's a big deal. The Botanical Gardens wants to be number one. They've been number two twice. So you can go vote on this. Why are we voting on this? Do you go to a lot of Botanical Gardens light shows? What is this? Number six. All right, Auburn fired head coach Hugh Freeze. After losing to Kentucky, I was there. It was embarrassing. And now the search is on. with Huntsville native John Summerall being the Auburn family choice, which I hate to say this. I really do, but I'm going to say this. The Auburn family choice is not the right choice. Okay? You got to get away from this Auburn family stuff. That's not the right choice. Penn State's X. James Franklin, Missouri's Eli Drenquit, Arizona's Kenny Dillingham, interim coach DJ Durkin, an even long shot. Clemsons, Dabbeau Sweetie, are in the mix here. Now, I'm telling you this right now. Maybe again, Jeremy Pruitt as well, because he's been cleared to coach at Jacksonville State, so maybe he can be on the mix as well. Listen, if you don't get Lake Kiffin and you're one of these four SEC teams that are hiring, you have failed. Okay, maybe Urban Meyer in the mix, too. Number five. Okay, the Tuscumbia Board of Education has addressed another fight issue at Deschler High. Now, you've heard all about this. Okay, you've heard about the first one. You know about August Borden. You know about that. You know about that story. This is another incident where they're fighting inside the locker room. And I've seen the video, it's bad. It's bad. But, um... I got to tell you, the school board saying, hey, stop looking at that. Yeah, that's not going to work. And putting out a statement on their social media saying to stop sharing it, stop it. That's not going to work either. But there are clearly some discipline problems on this football team. And all the stuff that's been going on there is only going to get more attention after what happened to August Borden. And now you have this fight taking place. Maybe there's some issues there that people need to take a look at. Number four. Governor-elect national championship winning coach, United States Senator Tommy Tuberville, is not clocking out as he continues to lead the push for the Sunshine Protection Act to end twice yearly clock changes by making daylight savings time permanent. I don't know what this means. I have no idea whether it means...

make it to where it's darker earlier or darker later or whatever. I don't really care all that much about this. I suggest we just make a decision to move something forward or back 30 minutes at New Year's. That's what I think we should do. Move it back or forward 30 minutes at New Year's and leave it there. They're citing benefits of health, safety, the economy, ending risks like crashes in depression from disruptions and all sorts of others. I don't know. Look, just please get this out of my social media feed, please. Number three. President Donald Trump is threatening to cut U.S. aid to Nigeria and consider military action causing a lot of heartburn for our friends in the media. CNN has a headline. It's crazy. Listen to this. Trump saw a segment on Fox News. Within an hour, he was laser-focused on Christians' treatment in Nigeria. You mean, they're slaughtered? Isn't it amazing? Trump's like, hey, stop that genocide. CNN's like, should we really stop the genocide? It's like, holy gal. If Trump is for and they're against it, it's wild. Governor-elect National Championship winning coach United States Senator Tommy Tuberville gave a Senate speech on this. And 62,000 Nigerian Christians have been killed by Islamic terrorists since 2000, including 7,000 murders in 2025 alone. Tuberville criticized the media and the Democrat silence, and they took that as an opportunity to say, what genocide? Number two. Yes, election day polls and prior polls. show that there's a pretty interesting thing happening in these elections today. Democrats are going to sweep. That's what the polls show. Now, you can say the polls are fake or any of this stuff. We're going to find that out here in just a bit. But the polls are open as of right now, and they show Democrats preparing to sweep New Jersey and Virginia elections with New York City's Democrat Zorha Zohran Mamdani expected to crush former mayor and current creep Andrew Cuomo. California's proposition 50 that will redistrict them and give them five more Democrat seats is expected to pass rather largely as well. And maybe this is a sign about the direction of the country. Okay, that's how they'll frame it if all those things I just said happen. But if the results don't pan out this way, they will declare that the results mean nothing and you guys are stupid for thinking. Time for the number one thing you'll be talking about today. Alabama and the rest of the country will see food stamp funding restored as the Trump administration will magnanimously tap emergency funds for partial November snap funding.

4.65 billion dollars will be spent from some sort of emergency fund covering half of the $8 billion monthly cost for 42 million beneficiaries amid the government shutdown. While this will be praised, and I got to tell you, People should be sending Donald Trump thank you cards. If someone is feeding your family for half a month directly, they could fight this in court and they chose not to. I kind of wish that they would have. But this could, in theory, extend the shutdown even further. Remember, the entire purpose of the shutdown, and I just don't mean for Democrats. For Republicans as well, the entire purpose of the shutdown is to create as much pain as possible. And when you alleviate that pain piece by piece, you extend the shutdown. That's where we're at right now. We are in the extension phase of the shutdown. And if they continue alleviating pain, it will go on longer. Simply put, I hate this.
