Number four. Auburn is responding to some of the issues that they've seen on their campus where individuals are maybe not following the rules. Those rules, of course, being... that you cannot be cramming these divisive concepts into the heads of these college students. You're not allowed to do all of this. But there have been a lot of questions and reports about whether or not Auburn is following the law. Well, now, according to a report in the Plainsman, they are... They're having to say, yeah, I'm following the rules. Yeah, I'm doing this. And Auburn is asking their educators to say they're following the law. Not a crazy thing. I cannot wait until they're told, don't respond. Don't respond to this. Don't give them any of this. Don't listen to them. Don't do it. Don't do it, guys. Don't give them what they want. Okay, don't and see what happens. See what happens. Number three. A record long government shutdown is reducing the Red Soarcel's Fox Army Healthcare Center services. Primary care cuts and the pharmacy will be limited to three days a week starting November 13th. So that is going to happen and that is going to impact some retirees and the like. So that's an issue there. Okay. Okay. It's bad. It will lead to reduced. services there at Resident Arsenal's Fox Army Health Center. Also, Mazda Toyota, congratulations. So, well, thank you to them. I think it's Robert. I would say this. We'll donate $50,000 to the North Alabama Food Bank to help furloughed workers and snap recipients. It's nice to see corporate partners wade in here. I think that's good. I think it's good all the way around. Thank you for that. Number two. The Federal Aviation Administration is mandating a 10% flight cut at 40 major airports, including Atlanta, Chicago O'Hare, and other major airports due to the shutdown-related. government shutdown related controller shortages so air traffic controllers are finding themselves in a in a less than good situation and some of them are calling off work which I don't think should be allowed but it is what it is and even though Alabama's airports are not directly impacted with the cut they are suggesting that travelers are urged to monitor

their flight status, which you should always do. And hilariously, one CEO even said, and I can't believe that he actually said this, you should probably buy an extra ticket. So, you know, in case your flight gets canceled. Yeah, yeah, just buy an extra airplane ticket. What a great normal thing to say. Time for the number one thing you'll be talking about today. It will be the bipartisan government shutdown talks. Yeah. Lawmakers are starting to move a little bit. One of them is referring to it as the end of the beginning. What does that even mean? What does it even mean? It's the end of the beginning. But the political hard wills are being broken here. So Richard Blumenthal, a complete liar who lied about being in Vietnam, he has come out and decided what he would say is it is now time to make a deal. And he says, quote, there seems to be some indication of a thaw. Republicans and Democrats are still skinnish about the shutdown as it goes into its, what is it, 38th or something day? So we are going on a very long period here. There's a lot of worry about this. And what's the hang up? What's the hang up? Well, the hang up continues to be Obamacare subsidies. That is the hang up. And when we say it's all starting the thaw, that's true, 100% true. But we still have a lot of people that want to see this thing continue. But I am feeling better about the fact that people are being honest. And I love it. Here's a good example of that. This is Senator Peter Welch. He's making this argument about Obamacare, and I think this is an important concession from Democrats. I owe you an answer on why it is I'm standing here today asking to extend something that was temporary. And here's the reason. We did fail to bring down the cost of health care. I agree. You failed to bring down the cost of health care with Obamacare. It's an admission. The senator from Vermont. admitting that is a nice step. Congratulations. Okay, good job, good job. Will they get to where the government shutdown ends? Maybe today? It's possible. Do I think so? No. But we'll stay on top of it. There we go. Let's take a quick time out. We'll be right back.
