Now time for the seven things you'll be talking about today. Number seven. Imagine leaving the University of South Florida for Auburn for a $6.75 million salary that can increase. With wins. Yes, a document obtained by Yellowhammer News says, should he win nine regular season games, goalish will receive a $1.5 million bonus. 2 million for a 10th victory, plus another million for an 11th and 12th victory. That's a lot of money. Win 12 games can make like $12 million. Additionally, an SEC title game appearance will pay him $150,000. Will a win brings him an additional $300,000? College football playoff appearance? Yeah, that's bringing him more money as well. That is $1 million for a first round appearance or buy $250,000 for a semifinal appearance, $500,000 for a national title appearance, and a million should he win the whole thing? My God. Talk about an incentive-based contract. Number six. All right, United States Senator Katie Britt has introduced the Conscience Protection for Medical Residence Act, which is, I think, very important. I've never understood this. I've never got this. But issue like abortion, an issue like abortion is very, very important to a lot of people. And I don't think you should be able to force residents who are trying to become doctors into performing them or learning how to do them. cannot be retaliated against over pro-life beliefs and safeguards their careers. I think this is a completely reasonable thing for them to say, I do not want to participate in these things. I do not want to do this. I do not believe in this. If they want to go into the medical profession and they have those problems, you know what? I think those are good people to have in the industry. And this protects them from having to choose between their profession and their beliefs. And I think that's good. We need more doctors. Let's protect these doctors. Number five. A full travel ban has been suggested by Homeland Security Secretary Chrissy Kno. Now, this travel ban would be to the countries that are sending individuals here that we are unable to vet. And it makes a lot of sense. And we've got countries that basically use America as a dumping ground. And we should be doing things that work for us. So Kristi Noem is suggesting that to Donald Trump, we will probably see this happen. And we will have people suing and all this other stuff over this. But we've learned that. The president does have the power to do this. So what will look like, look, Americans have said enough of this. Okay. And we have decided we should be taking in people that benefit us. Not everyone. We are not a third world dumping ground. Well, we shouldn't be a third world dumping ground. As of right now, we probably are.

Number four. The Hoover Planning and Zoning Commission, you may be thinking, why are we discussing this? Well, they unanimously rejected the Islamic Academy of Alabama's rezoning bid to transform an office building into a K-12 Muslim school and community center in the Burnham suburb. I don't like this. I got a serious problem with this. This is not right. This is not right. The people who are saying that this is the beginning of a caliphate and all this other stuff, I think, I think this is unacceptable. I really do. I don't get it. A lot of religious bigotry here, there is no reason for this. I do not like this. I think that we should be actually applauding people who want to send their kids to schools. that advocate their faith? There's no allegation here. This has been anything but that. And I got a real problem with this. This is religious bigotry and it's wrong. Number three. Governor-elect National Championship winning coach, United States Senator Tommy Tuberville, warned that Democrats will abolish the filibuster to impose a woke agenda of Supreme Court packing open borders, EV mandates, and late-term abortions. So he wants Republicans to act first and take the first step.

4:37

I don't like it. I don't like. He wrote that op-ed. He said, if Republicans want to put real wins on the board for the American people and starts with ending the Senate filibuster, quote, I know this is controversial, but the truth is, if it weren't for two former Democratic senators, Joe Mason and Kirsten Cinema, Democrats would have already blown it up last time they were in power. He's right about that. I mean, look, he is correct. It's coming. It is absolutely coming. And he might. He might be right about the need to do this. I'm torn on this. Man, this conversation should probably heat up here soon. Number two. Alabama radio legend and ESPN host Paul Feinbaum condemned Ole Miss coach, well, I guess I would say former Ole Miss coach, Lane Kiffin's mid-season defection to LSU as utterly disgraceful and distracting from his own looming decision on a potential United States Senate run in Alabama against Attorney General Steve Marshall and Representative Barry Moore. But... I would just argue that if that is the case, maybe talk radio is more your speed here. Paul five, mom. Maybe that's the case. I don't know. He has a self-imposed December deadline, and he's warning another thing with SEC football that is important, and this one's probably more important than anything else. He says a championship loss. to Georgia. A bad loss to Georgia from Alabama could cost them a college football playoff spot. Is he right about that? Now, time for the number one thing you'll be talking about today. All right, the Trump administration's double tap on narco terrorists in the Caribbean is awesome. I could just stop there, but let's go through the news on this matter. Their narrative on the double tap on a drug-filled boat with Venezuela, Trinidadagua gang members on it has drawn a lot of fire from the people that complain about almost everything Donald Trump does. Clout chasing goblins are upset about this. Everyone on cable news is upset about this. They tell you this is a war crime and the people who are irresponsible will be tried and prosecuted, even though none of that is true and we all know it. Even the people saying it, know it. But they say this is completely justified after calling it a hoax. But bipartisan oversight is coming from House Armed Services Chairman, Representative Mike Rogers of Sacks, Alabama, and ranking member Adam Smith, a Democrat from Washington. They're going to be looking into potential war crimes, which there are none. And hilariously, and I'm going to just add this at the bottom here because I think this is kind of funny, there's a Canadian publisher that has condemned Pete Hegseth. It's just so stupid.

7:46

condemn Pete Hegseth for a Franklin Bob's narco-terrorist mock-up that he posted online. These people have no sense of humor. They have no sense of humor. I condemn this unauthorized use of Franklin the Turtle. Why not just say this is stupid? I mean, you cannot stop people from using a parody, and nobody thinks that you are complicit in the killing of the Trenda Aragua terrorists. Don't worry, we get it. You're pro-drug trafficker. Okay, we got it. But you're anti-Secretary of War Pete Hegseth using your character as a joke. Okay, that's fine. Be upset about it, but all you're doing is drawing more attention to it. It's a hilarious image. It is a hilarious image. It is Franklin the Turtle firing a rocket propelled grenade in a drug boat. And I know this wasn't intentional with my head set or whoever put this image together. He's firing the rocket or maybe the rocket propelled grenade at a boat that's already exploding. So they're literally double-tapping. Franklin double-taps narco-terrorists is really what's going on there. I love it. I love every single thing about it. It will continue to get your thoughts on all of this as we continue this morning. I'm Dale Jackson. We'll be right back. Get WBNN's Dale Jackson seven things you should be talking about today.
