It's live, it's local, it's the Dale Jackson Show, and it's only on News Talk 770 AM, 92 5 FMWVNN. Depend on it. and Dale Jackson here with you. Thank you very much for joining us. Appreciate you being here. Appreciate you every single day. You do spend some time with us. We are thankful for you. And I talked about this last week, but I think I've got it working this morning. We're tested out here in this segment of the program, okay? We have a new system that I have built from the ground up. Just from the absolute ground up. Am I a hero? I'm not suggesting I'm a hero. Am I close to a hero? I mean, a lot of people might say that. A lot of people might say that. But I am building a little bit of a talk-to-text system for the people who text in on the program so I can then utilize them on the air. And instead of me trying to interpret what you're saying, I will just let the talk-to-text voice what you're saying. and I will let it do so and we'll try to figure out exactly what you're up to. You text in, you'll hear it over the air. I'll give you an example here. Okay, this is an example. I want to share this example with you and I want to share this with you. And this is an example from, I think it is Saturday morning. And I'm just pulling a random text here because I haven't got a set to start doing this automatically. But I'm going to share it with you and share with you what it will sound like when you send a text in from now on. We'll obviously have to trigger them, but this is what it will sound like. And I'm open to changing, by the way, the... different voices we are using for this. But this is just a preliminary beta test, so to speak. No, not a Yaffy test. A beta test, if you get it. So it'll sound something like this. All right, let's go to the ScoutPass Control.com, WVNN. Hot take text line. You can jump in right there, get your text in 866-494 WVNN. Learn more about them, obviously, at ScoutPestcontrol.com. Let's get to it.

Listening to the news, on 48 News, the reporter stated that Trump's position on, birthright citizenship contradicts the 14th Amendment. I am hearing this repeated across most media outlets. Thinking people need to call these commentators out on this every time it is repeated. So Bugsy! Is this person talking incredibly slow, or is it just me? I thought they were very slow as well. Okay, all right. We'll speed that up a little bit. But that will be the gist, and we will share those with you, and then I can say, okay, well, listen, I didn't see that story. about the birthright citizenship contradicting the 14th Amendment. They're trying their best to frame it that way. That is nothing new. I don't know if that was a local reporter or what. I had to know more about that. But, yeah, we are about to have a conversation at the Supreme Court about this and what it actually means. Now, the issue here... was slavery. That was the original issue. It was not just can we be a dumping ground for the world if you can download a baby onto American soil. So that's the argument going on at the Supreme Court. So that will be ruled here relatively soon. And just, you know, look, don't get on. Our friends in the local media, okay? And I'm going to tell you why you might want to kind of pause on the folks in beating up those folks in the local media, okay? They don't know any better. Okay? And I'm dead serious about this. Okay? They just generally do not know any better. They are in a position. where what they're doing is basically regurgitating what is being fed to them on the national level. And then when there's a national story, what they do is they go and they say, how can I find a local person that I can utilize to tell this story? And then they will run out and they will find a local story of a person who was born in the United States of America to two illegal. immigrant parents, and that individual is, God, I don't know, let's just say a humanitarian who has saved children from a fire, taught minorities to read, and at one point in time, supported a Republican candidate for office publicly. And then they find that person. And that person is, of course, very, very upset about what has happened. And therefore, their story should be the basis for American policy on birthright citizenship. Now, if you want to talk about the 14th Amendment, we can do so. But.

6:25

It was clearly about newly free slaves and not about illegal aliens who have entered the country or people who are here on tourism visas or work visas or anything like this. Just the second you have a baby inside the United States, they're automatically an American citizen. That was never the intention. Okay, so unless you just bastardized the language into whatever you want it to be, it was never the point. So again, I don't know if this person was talking about something that happened on the national news coverage on 48 or something the local reporter was saying on 48, but my guess would be they were telling the version of the story that the AP was telling them. and they were reiterating it. Okay, that would be my guess. I don't have any information on that. I'm going off of this text that came in early on Saturday morning just to show you how the talk to text thing works. And then I can't answer any of your other questions when it comes to that. So we'll get some more of your text in here as we move through the program this morning and give you an opportunity here. But. I'm not going to do this. And this is actually a pretty funny way to put this. So there's all that. Ah, okay, it's not working too well. If you can get the voice to text to just butt in and interrupt you all, that would be great. So now we've gone too fast. Now we've gone too fast on this. I think we should go faster. It's faster. It's faster. Yeah. Yes, that's exactly what we should do. We should make this as fast as we possibly can and do it. But no, it will not just be budding. I'll tell you what, though. What is it bugsy? Is it on like the internet, like the streaming stuff, you get, if you pay. Like it'll interrupt the person speaking instantly, right? Yeah, that's how they have that. Okay, we need to find out a way to do that. We put my PayPal out there, and if they send me money, I'll just, I'll do it, okay? You just interrupt and just start reading it. You do the voice to text. Okay, all right, so you put your PayPal out there and do that, but I don't think we're going to have them just bust in and interrupt us in that way. So I don't think that's going to be the plan, but it's a possibility down the line. I don't know if it's necessarily what we're going to want to do. It is a possibility. So we're kind of tweaking the system. So by all means, bear with us on this. And I will continue sharing those opinions with you. You can also email us in.

9:13

You've got mail. That is, of course, the downtown rescue mission.org email inbox. Dale at WVN.N.com. Don't forget, you can get your questions in for 10 with him and all these other things as well. Coming up today, we've got Brad and Presnell with us. We'll talk with him a little bit later. We got Jay Town, a former U.S. attorney from the Northern District of Alabama, now a Newsmax exclusive host. But what's the big news of the weekend? What's the big news of the weekend? Yeah, we got all the boat stuff. We got all this other stuff. How about Alabama backdooring their way into the college football playoff? How about that? That is the story of the weekend. And man, are there a lot of people who are not happy about that? I'm not one of them. I'm not one of them. I can tell you exactly why that happened. And I'll tell you just before we get even started here, I can tell you exactly why this happened. If you're mad about this, I'd love to hear why. If you'd like to justify it, feel free to do that as well. But I'll tell you this right now. The answer is simple. If you want to go cynical on this, it's very easy to do. Why did they put Alabama into the playoff? Money. Money. I mean, let's just be real about it. The college football playoff is now a wholly owned subsidiary of ESPN. Okay? That's what it is. It's a wholly owned subsidiary of ESPN. That's all it is. That's all it's going to be from here on out. So whatever works best for them is what you're going to be looking at. And we can pretend we don't like that. We can even, for real, not like that. Okay, this is simple. We can do all of these things. We can make it very clear that we're not a big fan of this. And if we're interested in making this a story, yeah, fine. But let's be real about it. Okay, be honest with yourself. Is this happening for any reason other than they are, without a doubt, the biggest draw on college football? They're a draw. That's what it's all about. They can put eyes on television. Now, I'm not saying that your college football playoff isn't going to get eyes anyway. I'm not saying that. Not saying that. But, I mean, come on. Be honest with yourself. Is there anyone out there that thinks that Oklahoma could draw better against Notre Dame? I don't think so. Is there anyone that thinks Oklahoma is going to draw better against Tulane or Old Miss? Or was it James Madison? Of course not. Of course not. Eyes. Eyes. Eyes. Eyes. Eyes. The most watch college football team this year? Alabama. Okay. Far and away. Far and away. Then Georgia, Tennessee, Texas, Oklahoma, LSU, then Ohio State. Then get this. Florida Gators, Florida Seminoles, then Notre Dame. The Gators are four and eight. The Seminoles are five and seven. Yes, I went to that powerhouse game. And then Notre Dame is there. I mean, if you're just going just off eyeballs, that's the reason. Maybe that's not why it should be happening. But that's what happened.

12:46

So let's take a quick timeout. If you're mad about that, I love it. Be happy. Be mad. Doesn't matter. 866-494 WPMN. I'm a fan. I love the idea that there is just all this consternation. They're going for that as well. Let's take a quick time out. We'll continue. We'll get into some more serious stuff on the other side. Stay tuned. It's the Dale Jackson Show. Bill Jackson here with you. Thank you very much for joining us. Appreciate you being here. Appreciate you every day. You spend some time with us. Let's talk for a second about this new scandal that is brewing as we have lost basically the plot on the bombing of drug dealers. And we're trying to pretend that the bombing of drug dealers is the worst thing that's ever happened. Now we're transitioning to Donald Trump is racist. Yeah, and you're racist for supporting Donald Trump if you did. And what? You got a problem with Somalis? Don't you realize the Somalis are the actual victims here in Minnesota? Yeah, you may be looking at like all the problems that have been created with fraud and stuff, but maybe you're just being a racist. Did you ever think about that? Do you ever think that maybe you're just being a giant racist? Is that possible? Because the Somalis are the real victims here. According to Ilhan Omar, this is from CBS's Face the Nation. So this was just for our audience, the binary justice department called it the largest COVID fraud scheme in the country. And this was pocketing COVID-era welfare funds, more than a billion dollars in taxpayer money that was stolen. It was pretty pretty. Shocking. Of the 87 people charged all but eight are of Somali descent. And that has added to the spotlight being put specifically on your community. It's funny, like the framing of this is like it shouldn't be placed on the community. Like it's some sort of like absurd thing. Like can you believe that, you know, just because everyone that's been arrested here is Somali that the spotlight is going on the Somali community. Oh. Well, I wonder why that is because there's been a billion dollars worth of fraud and reports out today say that the new fraud could potentially be up to $8 billion? Yeah, up to $8 billion. But shouldn't we really just be looking at how this impacts the Somali community? Well, that's a good point, Ilhan Omar. Tell me more. Why do you think this fraud was allowed to get so widespread?

16:16

Well, I want to say, you know, this also has an impact on Somalis because we are also taxpayers in Minnesota. We also could have benefited from the program and the money that was stolen. And so it's been really frustrating for people to... not acknowledge the fact that we're, you know, we're also, um, as, as Minnesotans, as taxpayers, um, really upset and angry about the fraud that has occurred. No, no, no, no. They're mad guys. They're mad about the fraud that has occurred. That's why every single elected official in Minnesota has gone out of their way to say, hey, hey, that's not us. That, that's not the Somali community. That's why the mayor of Minnesota. It has been seen on video gulping down some Somali food, even though it's obvious he just is like absolutely hating every aspect. He looks like Grant when I tell him to eat his peas. And listen to this guy. I look, I mean, it's just, it's hilarious. Sorry, that's got some music. That's not what we were going for. There's audio of this guy eating this food, and he is just miserable when it comes to eating. If you haven't seen the videos, go check it out. There's all this music behind it. But he's just sitting there shoveling into his mouth. He's moving it around the plate. He doesn't like it. There's nothing wrong with that. There's nothing wrong with that. But if you think that's a silly way to handle this scandal, wait until you see what else he's been doing. Listen to this. That's not American. That's not what we are about. And we're going to do right by every single person in our cities. And so to our Somali community, Daman Shabka, Somaliyid, Kunul, Minnesota, Garahan, Minneapolis, Wahan, Kuhi, Janila Hai.

18:27

I mean, I couldn't have said it my best or any better than that. The best part about this, in my opinion, is that this is the kind of stuff that got Donald Trump elected. This kind of ridiculous pandering, most people look at this and go, this is pathetic. And they're right. And they're going to see it as pathetic. And they're going to say, okay, crack down on this now. Dale Jackson. Hey, I'm Chris Van Fleet. Go behind the scenes and beyond the headlines with the biggest names in pro wrestling and beyond. Jeff Jarrett, great to see you. In this business, the story behind the scenes, so much more entertaining than what you see on camera. Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman. Mr. Heyman. You are a master at the little things. That's how you turn good into great. What does it take to achieve greatness? Whatever it takes I'm willing to do. That's an Emmy winning performance. How about it? Insight with Chris Van Fleet. Follow and listen on your favorite. platform. All right. All right. You guys are, uh, you guys are being pretty funny. And I'll give you a little bit of props here for this before we jump to Brad Presol here on. The Alabama A&F $350 million Bulldog Hotline. Yeah, you guys can jump in right there. Well, actually, you can't jump in right there. Only Brad can. And $350 million, that is the impact that Alabama A&M has on Alabama. $238 million. That is the impact that Alabama A&M has on North Alabama alone. Learn more at aAMU.edu. Let's get to your text here real quick and give you guys an opportunity to share your opinion here. Donald Trump called Somali's garbage. That isn't what a president does. What about white illegal immigrants? Okay. So there we go. We got a question a little about white illegal immigrants. Let me just say this. Donald Trump's comments about Somalis being garbage, he as always is addressing the people committing fraud. And the people who are actually doing things, they shouldn't be doing. He's not talking about your average immigrant Somalian. But the community has once again come under fire. Why? Well, because there are a lot of people who are defending the fraudsters. And it makes it look as if the entire community is behind them.

21:22

And this is just like everything else we've seen. Why did Americans turn against immigration? Well, it's simple. People took advantage of the system. Why are people turning against Somalis? Simple. They took advantage of the system. Do you have a go to Somali dish? A little fast there. Do you have a go-to Somali dish? No, I can't. I don't. And watching the mayor there. gulf down, gulp down, maybe the better way to put it, gulp down what he's eating doesn't really make me want to try it. So no, I don't have a go-to. Somali dish. It's a good question. Put that in the $50 free-for-all Friday question of the day. All right. Let's bring Bradpresent all on here. If you'd like to get your own text in and have them heard on the air, scout pest control.com. WVNN. Take text line 866494 WVN. And Brian Personnel is on polling. managed campaigns on the local and state level. He's worked on federal campaigns with the Mike Huckabee campaign. He's done messaging for groups like the AEA. He's also worked with Tommy Tuberville and Dale Strong as well. Let's bring Brad on the program. Brett, Donald Trump's referring to the Somalis as garbage. People are pretending that that's the real story. That's the real problem. Not what's actually going on here. Isn't this how you got Donald Trump this kind of fake? Like, oh my God, can you believe Donald Trump is being critical of Somalis? Isn't that how Donald Trump got in power? 100%. Donald Trump got elected the first time around because people liked hearing what he would say and he would say what most of us were thinking and didn't have the ability to say it. to a large out of people, or we were just afraid to say it. And here came a candidate who would say what we were thinking. So that made him attractive from the get-go. Yeah. It's just, it's kind of wild to see kind of people making that argument that, like, Donald Trump needs to figure out a way to use his language better. And you saw there was a senator of, I forget his name, but from Utah. saying we have to be asking ourselves, is everyone speaking in a way that makes immigrants feel welcome? And I just thought to myself, is that really what we have to be doing? Because I don't think that's what we have to be doing. I don't feel like that's what I really have to be doing right now. Why are even some Republicans still at this point pretending it is our obligation to somehow soft pedal our criticism of people based on their identity? If it came out tomorrow that there was a massive white conservative fraud ring operating inside the United States that bilked somewhere between a billion dollars and $8 billion out of a program that was supposed to be used to feed poor people and other programs.

24:25

Don't you think people would be like those white devils, those white bastards? I can't believe they're doing this. And do you think they would, do you think they would say, hey, hey, hey, hey, you're making all white people feel uncomfortable. You're making them all feel uncomfortable. You shouldn't be doing that. Is that what would happen? If somehow the Swiss and the Norwegians came here and were overtaking our country and they found one person that was doing something illicit, they would basically say every person coming here is horrible and we need to get all these white folks out of here. That's what they would say. They're kind of doing that with the Afrikaners. I mean, you're kind of describing how they handled with Donald Trump went out and brought a bunch of Afrikaners in here. One of the things they said was like, hey, how can you do this? These guys are just white people. And we don't need more white people here. And they said, oh, you'll bring these people, but you won't bring in people from Somalia or any of these other places. And it's like, guys, they're already here. We've put a whole bunch of Somalians in here. Why are we pretending? that there's like some sort of of a lack of of immigration from the third world why why are we pretending that and and who does that benefit politically anyone Well, the Democrats have this big plan to take over our country with people they're bringing here, obviously, and then get the people to vote for them. And I want to piggyback on what you said earlier in your segment, Dale. The media and the left calling anybody racist who has the guts to call out somebody for unacceptable and or about what you were talking about, the illegal behavior about the fraud, Somalian fraud in Minnesota. This is nothing new. They do it because it works. That is why we find ourselves in a situation where the country is being overrun with those from other countries who don't share our belief system. And as a country, we have been too accepting and we've been taking advantage of. And it's past the point of no return where the invasion and the damage they have done is irreserved. I can't even talk. irreversible. So what are we going to do moving forward? We're going to see more of this stuff come up where they're fraudulent behavior under four years under Joe Biden and all these left Democrat governors and mayors. And it's going to be never ending. So what are we going to do about it? Is Trump going to lay down the hammer as far as whatever he can do within his powers on these people? Are we going to see an investigation? open up and actually be closed within a normal period of time instead of what's been going on with Anthony Fauci. I'm still waiting for him to go to prison. I just think they move too slowly in their investigations. And Americans want to see action. Yeah, I agree with that. I agree with you. That's exactly correct. And a texter writes this in, I think, correctly. And I think nails this. Dell, don't forget Biden called mega garbage.

27:36

Don't bring race in this to divert from the fraud. We're trying to find the perfect talk to text voice. I don't know if that's it. But the... It just sounds so silly. But the reality is, yeah, that's exactly right. They're talking about race in order to kind of distract people from what's actually going on. And instead of actually dealing with the real issue, we now have this little side quest going on. And it is, hey, aren't you being... unkind to the people of Somalia that have come here. I mean, I look at this, and I saw some math the other day, and it said the average Somalian is making $6,000 a year in America. The average Somalian is making $6,000 years. That tells me they are on a ton of government assistance. That's what that tells me. All right, moving past that for a second. Let's move in to the state of Alabama here. Paul Feibov said he's not running. Democrats are looking for an opportunity to look at Afton Bain and find their own terrible white liberal woman to run. Which has a bigger impact on this race? Paul on any of these races. Paul Feinbaum says, I'm out, I'm not running. Were you surprised by that? I was about a surprise that him not running is the fact that when the rumor started coming out that he was looking at it. So, yes, I was surprised, Dale, I thought after all the talk and all the investigative work he was doing behind the scenes on what it actually took to run for United States Senate and what it would cost him personally, I think he did what most people should do, and that is talk to a lot of folks before you decide you're going to run for office, even on a local level, but especially on a big stage like United States Senate, that's a big deal and it's serious. And I think Mr. Pondbaum asked a lot of people. He trusted. And I think he asked a lot of people that he met that were in the political world. And they gave him advice. And he made the decision. And ultimately, I think it was a good decision that he made. Yeah, he called me. It says we're best friends now, me and him. He called me and. To me, if you told me to put money down whether it was running or not, the answer would have been, hell yeah, he's running. I think it was pretty clear based on what he said, and then he chose not to. I was surprised by that. On the other front, Tabitha Eisner, who I think wants to be aft in Bain. She's repulsive to almost every sense imaginable. She put out a message this week saying that they are looking for. Democrats who run across the state of Alabama. There's nothing wrong with that. She specifically targeted District 47, State House District 47, held by Matt Shaw. He won that seat by nine points.

30:24

And they said there would be a 12-point swing. And she looked at the 12-point swing there in northern Tennessee, not northern Tennessee, but Nashville in that area. I guess it is northern Tennessee. But anyway, so. saw a nine point swing there and said, hey, we can swing this. Now, I don't know what she's actually talking about because Matt Shaw's election was 6435. And if you were to swing that 12 points, you still get absolutely destroyed. Okay, let's just be completely real about it, but at least it's competitive. So why do they believe that that special election in December? in Tennessee is going to help them swing a race in the state of Alabama. That is a 6435 seat. Why do they think that? Well, they're trying to reach and grasp for anything they can to get a toe hold on to make. People think that they're actually doing something to run for office and not sitting back and just not putting out Democrat candidates. She has to do a certain job with the base in her party, so she's trying to wrap it in a bow as pretty as she can. Obviously, midterms coming up, Americans are going to be looking at how they feel, but Donald Trump is president. Some people are going to be fired up and not like it, and that's going to get some Democrats to the polls. There will probably be some races that Republicans lose around the country like every sitting president does in the midterm. And she's going to be looking to Alabama to fill that love, in other words, for the Democrats. And it's just not going to work here. It's just not going to work. Yeah, her argument is that Harris won 41% of the vote in 2024 in that district. So a 10-point shift to the left continues. The seat can be won by a Democrat. I mean, is there any logic behind that? There's no logic. And one thing they do have in their favor, I will say this Dale, these blue states are emptying. They're leaving and they're coming south. Just insert one of seven or eight southern states. And all of our population is growing down here. So these liberals are coming here and they're going to bring their politics with them. So that's one hope that they have is that they can populate these red states with a lot of blue people that's fleeing. So that's one thing we have to be concerned about on our side is we have to watch that. But here in Alabama, we're a little bit different animal. Yeah. Don't California my Alabama, all right? Don't bring that crap. Exactly. Brad Presnell, thank you very much for being here on the Alabama A&M $350 million Bulldog Hotline. Brad is an opposition. Research guy, campaign guy, finance guy, you name it. He's done it all. He's seen it all. He's worked for the AEA, Dale Strong, Tommy Tuberville, and the Mike Huckabee presidential campaign. We love having him here on Mondays. We'll talk with him soon. Thank you very much, Brad, for being here. Everyone else, hey, let me remind you about my good friends over there.

Get your thoughts in on the ScoutPass Control.com, WVNN, Hot Take Text Line, and I'll show you the brand new system I've built. I'm a good guy. I'm a nice guy. I'm trying to hook you guys up. Listen to this. We have a new system where you text in. I don't got to read them. I just let some AI robot do it. That's as simple as it is. Let's get to it. Wait a second. That's not even the right text. Hold on. Read the right one. Come on. Dale, this is text to talk, not talk to text. Everybody's a critic. Like, we can't, like, everyone, like, okay, I'm so sorry. Was I calling you talk to text? Sorry, it's text to talk or text to speech. Bugsy, text to speech is the right term. I think it is, TTS. I think so. Yeah, text to speech. I actually wrote, I actually wrote that down. I just, I've been saying talk to text, so excuse me for that. I was going to say it's the same acronym, but it's absolutely not. Yeah, it's not. It's not at all. Not even close. Not even close. Let's get some more of your thoughts here. This one on the University of Alabama's football program. We've, Alabama, been there before. It stinks and I hate it for Notre Dame because they are a very good team, just like we were last year. It's nice for the committee to stay consistent with what they've said about championship games not hurting the participants. They shouldn't. Hold on, hold on a second. Let me just stop right there. Hold on. Hold on. But BYU got absolutely penalized. They got absolutely penalized for that. So, no, I disagree with that. I disagree. They have not stayed consistent. They're the opposite of consistent. They shouldn't. Any reasonable person should understand how the entire game would be adversely affected if those games hurt the participants. They did. BYU got screwed. That's exactly. Oh, come on, what are you talking about? BYU took a, got pounded for that. Notre Dame has always had the opportunity to join a conference, but they choose to stay independent. This year, it bit them. I wish this playoff would choose the 12 best teams, but it doesn't. Notre Dame fans should be upset at Tulane and James Madison. Those are the teams that shouldn't be in this playoff.

36:52

You're probably right about that. You're probably correct. I like the British lady personally. So I think we're stick with the British. You should get like Stephen Hawking or somebody to say it. Or how two names you do or something. You want it to be more robotic. Yes. Okay, all right, fair enough. Fair enough. We'll continue to tweak this as we move through the program. I like this little toy. I think I'm going to enjoy it, and you guys are going to hate it. What do you think? Do you guys like, talk to text or hate it? Or text to talk? 770 a.m. 92.5 FM. WVN. Dale Jackson here with you. Thank you very much for joining us. Appreciate you being here. Appreciate you joining us every single day. We have unveiled our new talk to speech line. It takes your scout pest control.com. WVNN. Hot tape text line. messages and then it turns them into apparently a snooty British lady somehow. I don't know. We're still working out the Kings here. But I do like the insults and other things coming in. But if you have any thoughts, feel free to get them in. 866-494-9-866. That's 866-494 WVN. And you get them in. And maybe you'll hear them right here on the radio yourself. Maga in their media is a problem. Bugsi said, hey, make it a little faster. I'm like, ah. Okay, it's not that it's faster. It's that it's British and it changed the A at the end of MAGA to like an ER. Keep dropping the hard R on MAGA? Let's try that again. Hold on a second. Let me slow that down a second. Hold on. Let's see if you're right about that. MAGA and their media are the problem. There's a little bit of an R in that. Okay, all right. Well, MAGA and their media are the problem is one hell of a comment. I don't think that's the case. I do love that on the left, there's this premise that is prevalent that like the pro-conservative media is somehow more powerful than the mainstream media. You have traditional talk radio, that's true. Then you have online spaces where individuals can voice their opinion. But you do realize that every mainstream media outlet with the exception of Fox News is overwhelmingly liberal, both in their coverage and their staffing. No matter where the newspaper is located, it's liberal. No matter where the TV station is located, it's liberal. The national TV networks are all liberal. I mean, what exactly is the MAGA media that is such a problem? I'd have to learn more about that, but we don't have time for that right now. It's a little drive-by that the MAGA media is the problem. I don't even know what the hell that is. But, okay, fine. Let's roll with that. We've got a lot going on here, so let's go ahead and get into it. Yes, you can jump in here and participate. But the seven things you should be talking about today is coming up right now. That is brought to you. you buy two men in a truck. Two men in a truck Huntsville.com. Obviously, they're ready to help you make your next move. How do I know that? Well, I've used them. And they do a fantastic job. Two men in a truck are awesome. Yeah, they have the grandma. We'll treat everyone the way you want your grandma to be treated, but you get two men a truck and so much more because two men a truck will come and they'll move it. They'll make you very happy. They'll stage it and you will be happy because your old home, your new home will both be damage-free, which I can't say that if I move my own stuff, it would be damage-free. I just can't say that. So luckily, two men in a truck.

41:54

Huntsville.com comes in and fixes it for. I'll tell you this right now, Sidney moves stuff across the house. She said, help me with this. Then we dig up a wall and I'm like just mad about it for the rest of my life. It doesn't make me very happy. Two men of truck avoids that for you. Let them help you out today. All right, let's get to it. It is time for the often duplicated, never replicated the most critically acclaimed segment here. on the Dale Jackson Show, brought to you by Alabama's most trusted journalist. It's the seven things you should be talking about today. Now time for the seven things you'll be talking about today. Number seven. The U.S. Representative Dale Strong, he has decided that he is going to give an America is back speech on the House floor. Celebrating Republican-led accomplishments under President Donald Trump, and those include border security enhancements. It also includes energy independence, economic resurgence with record stock markets and low unemployment. By the way, Alabama's rate is 2.8%. That's down with 5,000 jobs created in North Alabama in the last year. That's great. And peace through strength abroad. I'm just saying this right now. Yeah, yeah, yeah. There's a lot of factors in the economy right now. But it's hard to argue with 2.8% unemployment. It's really hard to argue with that. If you want a job, there are jobs. Obviously out there, you can tell me about people leaving the jobs market. I get that. I understand all of that as well. I also understand that people want deflation now as opposed to inflation getting under control, but they don't really understand what they're asking for. Number six. The fallout from the University of Alabama stopping the use of taxpayer dollars to fund student magazines that are, how do I put this, race and sex-based, like Alice, which focused on women and 1956, which centered on the black experience. Well, I'll just tell you this right now. They don't seem to understand why that's happening, and they continue having these two young girls on there to talk about it, and they never say, why should the state be funding your affinity group? Attorney General Pam Bondi put out an anti-DEI directive, so did the state of Alabama in plenty of executive orders. Viewpoint discrimination is not what's happening here, even though a lot of groups are suggesting that's the case. It's ridiculous. Number five. President Donald Trump's comments that Somalis are garbage is obviously in reference to the ongoing fraud investigation there in Minnesota. Of course, we're pretending we don't understand that. His borders are, Tom Homan said I agree with 100% what Trump is doing. Trump labeled flights targeting Somali gangs, criminals, fraudsters, Minnesota as removing garbage, which is exactly correct. If you're taking these people out, you're removing garbage.

45:05

Okay, let's be real about this. Community fears of mass removals and the revoking of temporary protecting status of over 10,000 immigrants. Oh, no. Oh, no. What are we going to do? It's sparking protests and accusations of inflammatory rhetoric to attempt to stop the immigration enforcement momentum. And it's very unfortunate because they don't really look at what's actually happening. They're just like Donald Trump's doing it, so it's bad. Number four. Alabama fans very happy as Alabama secured the number nine seed in the 12-team college football playoff. And their gift for that is they get to go to Norman, Oklahoma, and play the team that put them on the bubble in the first place when Oklahoma beat them. The Crimson Times resume strength. and quality losses help them edge out Notre Dame for inclusion in the playoff. And people are furious about this. Oh, three-loss team, a three-loss team. Wasn't Clemson a three-loss team last year? Okay, I just want to make sure I understand that. I think Clemson was a three-loss team. Ole Miss got in even though. I guess maybe Clemson was an excuse. Oh, I guess in the new 3-team, a new format, maybe it was. Anyway, it doesn't matter. Old Miss got in with Lane Kiffin gone. They're going to play Tulane, two teams that both lost their head coaches, one of which will continue coaching. That's John Summ. Number three. Alabama law enforcement arrest of undocumented immigrants has surged 450%. We should be applauding this. This is great to over 1,200 arrest in 2025. Wait a second. I thought it would be more than that. I want more than that. There's 67 counties, 1,200 arrests. That's not very many in each county. I'm not super psyched about that after all. No, I'm not excited about this at all. I want more. More arrest. Enhanced ice partnerships with local groups, local initiatives like focusing on trucking, targeting criminal violations, reflect statewide efforts to identify and deport criminal illegals amid federal crackdowns, which is exactly what should be happening here. And, of course, people are furious about this. Oh, my God, can you believe they're deporting all of these criminals? Well, they're just criminals in a little way, though. Stop and please. Number two. U.S. Representative Mike Rogers of Sacks. back down from Sacktown. You may remember him, Chairman of the Armed Services Committee? Yeah, he is not a happy camper right now. He wants to see more information about these airstrikes. He's pushing bipartisan action to gather a full accounting, which is exactly what should be happening. U.S. Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas said he is fine with Democrat demands for the full unended video release of the September...

48:13

second narco terrorist strike. All the media is now calling it a narco boat, so at least they're coming around, okay? They don't want to say narco terrorists. That's fine. He said, this is, Cotton did, quote, nothing remarkable or profoundly shaking, end quote, and accused opponents of politicizing military actions against Trenda and Agua terrorists amid intensifying congressional calls for transparency. Now, time for the number one thing you'll be talking about today. After the attempted bomber of the RNC and DNC in 2021 on January 6th, 2021, let's make sure we get that right because I know sensitive, a lot of you guys are about this, was identified as a left-wing anarchist last week. We are now being told that in his meetings with the FBI, that he told them that he was a supporter of Donald Trump and believed the 2020 election was stolen. Uh-oh. We're in a choose-your-own-adventure-situation. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. By the way, his family has said that he is not a Trump supporter and that he is, quote, an autistic, recluse computer nerd who is, quote, not a Trump supporter.

49:40

Just basically, just believe whatever you already want to believe, okay? Watch as this story falls out of the media, okay? And I will just tell you this, even if he is a Trump supporter, did you notice? The Trump administration still went after him. Did you notice that? Did you notice that? Now, I suggest he was probably a Trump supporter from the very beginning. And now we're being told that that may not be the case from his family. Is it possible that he's maybe saying that in order to make it appear that his side is not the side that did this? Is that a possibility? I mean, remember, the furry shooter of Charlie Kirk? Yeah, that guy was a right winger, apparently. Remember, remember with the guys who shot at Donald Trump, both right wingers? That's how they've tried to sell. There's still people who believe that. Republican shot Donald Trump, guys. Republicans did that. Remember? Okay. I'm just checking. Just choose your own adventure on this, okay? That's what you get to do here because nobody's going to believe anything that doesn't fit their opinion. I thought he was a right winger from the very beginning. It just made sense to me. But apparently some said, no, he's the left winger. And now some are saying, no, he's a right winger. So everyone gets to do whatever they want to do. So congratulations to you guys on that one. Get out there and scrap it out on the internet guys. All right. Great. 866-494 WVNN. That, of course, is the free speech phone lines. You can jump in right there and voice your opinions. You can also get in on the scout pest control.com. WVNN. Hot take text line and check out our brand new talk to speech feature. Yeah, we're working on that. I really enjoy it. I'll just be completely honest with you. I'm already a fan. Big fan, big fan. We'll show you some more of that as we move through the program. Keep it locked right here on WVNNN. Get WBN's Dale Jackson seven things you should be talking about today. Write in your email box every morning. Go to yellowhammer news.com and sign up today. Okay, I like that you guys are now testing the talk to text voices and things of that nature. Emily, when we do this, I got to ask a question. I got to ask this question. Hold on. Let me see if I can do this right and see if you like this system as we have it's set up. This comes in. Here's a text for you. Dale, what are you going to do with someone like me who uses talk to text, and it usually screws up somewhere or another, and you have to read in between the lines that in the ha-ha-ha-has-and-smiley face? I like that it says smiley face. I like that it like it says smiley face, like as the emoji thing. The question I have for you, Emily. A, what do you think overall? B.

52:38

Do we need the, because it's, okay, so here's my thought process. It's the scout pest control.com, WVNN, hot take text line, right? Yeah. Got it, got it, got it, okay, good. So when I play the talk to text, or text to talk, there we go, things, text to speech, there we go. When I play that, I got to come up with a different name for this thing. I like using the little bug zapper sound effect. Too much or not enough? I think it's right. I think the text reading should start just a smidge after when it does, so it doesn't get lost in the biz. Oh, my God, everyone's a critic. Why do you even ask me? Why do you even ask if you don't want to hear what I have to say? All right, let's try it this one. Let's get to another one here for Ms. Emily, because she's such a stickler. Alabama played a far tougher schedule than Notre Dame's best did. They beat four ranked teams in a row, all of whom were ranked higher than Notre Dame's best win, which was number 20 USC. Okay. So let me ask you this, Ms. Hayes. Is that better? Yeah. Can you justify Alabama being in the playoff? Absolutely. No. I got a text from someone who's going to go remain nameless who told me Alabama shouldn't be in the playoff. We shouldn't be in the playoff. Oh, so you're of the, it should not be in the playoff camp. I don't feel that we, that we should be in the playoff this year. I hate Alabama fans. I hate you guys so much. Let me tell you why. Let me tell you why I hate you guys. Man, just take that you got over. Just take it. I mean, I would love it. If they showed up on that, hold on, hold on, if they showed up. on that selection show. We're like, you know what? We're going to put the Florida Gators in. I wouldn't be like, we don't deserve it. I'd be like, hell yeah. Put them in. My concern is that if our discipline's there, if our depth of roster is not there, if we're not fully showing up for stuff, why are we going to keep embarrassing ourselves on a national stage until we get our program back to where it needs to be with continued discipline and execution? And I don't feel like it's there. But I also don't think Notre Dame should be in because I don't think they have the strength of schedule that Alabama had. So I do agree with that. And I'm going to cheer for my team. I love Alabama. I just expect more out of that program. And I don't feel poorly for saying that. I don't care if you rumble and grumble under your breath. So insufferable. I mean, you get in. And you guys gripe. If you don't get in, you guys gripe. If he wears the hoodie, you guys gripe. If he doesn't wear the hoodie, you guys gripe. I mean, it's just like, geez, man, just be happy that you got over. There are football fans. I haven't seen a legitimate Florida national contender since 2008, all right? Take the win. Good Lord. Be happy about it. I just do not understand. You ne'er do well complainers. It's just unbelievable. But that's okay. That's Emily's job, I guess. We will continue. We got a lot to get into. Jay Towns up next. He's a Notre Dame guy. I wonder what he thinks. Stay tuned. Dale Jackson.

56:19

News Talk 770 a.m. 92.5 FM, WVNN. Dale Jackson here with you. Thank you very much for joining us. Appreciate you being here and appreciate you every single day. Now, look, there's a lot of legal issues we need to get into, and that's not really why we bring our next guest on the program. His name is Jay Town. You can hear him exclusively. on this program. And on Newsmax, yes, that's true. He's exclusive to Newsmax as well. He's also a former U.S. attorney, Northern District of Alabama. He is a Notre Dame grad, a JAG officer, a Marine. This guy has done it all. But you may have heard what we're going to actually talk to him about here. It is the fact that he's a Notre Dame guy. And he is not a happy camper. He is not a happy camper. And apparently he's been going hardcore on Twitter. So much so that I want people to hear this. This is a text that came in here earlier. Listen to this. Just listen to Jay Town. Apparently, someone's very upset with him. Let's hear what happened. I know what Jay Town is going to say. Jay is a great guy and was a superb prosecutor. But he's out to lunch on this. ND's real argument is with James Madison's being in the playoff. All right, so let's bring Jay Town on here. He is, again, a former U.S. attorney. Notre Dame grad, Marine Jagg Officer, Newsmax exclusive, and exclusive right here. And mostly we bring him on just to talk about college football. But, yeah, your Notre Dame, Alabama gets in and gets over as always. I mean, that's basically what's happened here. You can't be too happy about that. When are you going to, like, bring down like a lawsuit against the SEC and a lawsuit against the NCAA? And ESPN, ESPN, too. They're another villain here. So congratulations to all 12 teams that made it, and that includes Alabama, and I have a lot of Alabama friends, and I'm happy for them. I don't quibble with the teams in the field. My argument is with the influence of the selection process, and Notre Dame signed up for the rules, and they signed up for this format. However, We live in a town. Let me put it in a parlance very quickly for the people to live in this town. If companies X, Y, and Z, all privately and publicly launched a campaign to prohibit company A from getting a certain contract, right? A very valuable contract worth millions of dollars. and they were talking to the government privately, talking to the government publicly. They were using the vast reach of their media resources to essentially eliminate any doubt that Company A was a qualified company. Now, nobody doubts that Company A is a qualified company, but then they lost the contract.

59:18

because of this collusion between companies X, Y, and Z, to the benefit of companies X, Y, and Z. Well, in the arc of this story, companies X, Y, and Z, or the SEC, the ACC, the ACC, and E, and the government in this case is the college football playoff. All four of those entities that I just named are incorporated. When you are incorporated, you have to abide by the laws of the United States, the laws of certain states. And you cannot collude to influence the marketplace to eliminate competition. There are really good laws on the books against this, Dale. It starts, maybe every, all you with, you know, there's a lot of people with Google law school degrees after, you know, the boat's being droned. Dust off that degree in Google Sherman antitrust laws. And I'm assured. by the folks that I've talked to that this is not the last you're going to hear about the selection process and the maneuvering that has gone on. Let's talk about that threat there. Not a threat. I'm not threatening anyone. I'm not saying you're threatening anybody. But let's talk about. that threat in broader sense here, and that is that this is not the end of this, I say, I'll tell you, I'll tell you, this is not the end, we shall fight till the end. What does that look like? What does that look like, J-Town? What does that fight like? What does Notre Dame do? Yes, they throw a public hissy fit. That's fine. Sure. And it's a justified one as well. Don't get me wrong here. But they're going to throw that. Could they actually, and look. Diego Pavia of Vanderbilt said, hey, let's go 16 teams. Could Notre Dame, in theory, sue their way into a 16 team playoff? No, no, no, no. I don't suggest that Notre Dame is going to be in the playoff this year. What I do suggest is that it is possible that Notre Dame could end up filing a suit under various antitrust laws, certainly contract laws with the ACC. They've been disparaging Notre Dame for weeks now. And other tortious violations, it's possible they can file that suit. I have a lawyer term I want to use. Oh, boy. Could could ESPN offer injunctive relief ahead of this in order to get away from this and try to squash this? No, quash this. Quash this. They could, they won't. Did I use those correctly? Uh, me, sure, Dale. Yeah, you're doing great. So, but, but I mean, look, none of this is going to happen before the first games are played. So none of that matters. The, the point is, is that you can't have companies X, Y, and Z, uh, colluding to eliminate company A from the marketplace for no other reason in their own financial game. And if you believe that, how much money is Notre Dame losing from this?

1:02:20

Well, I mean, in NBC sports, they have a cause of action as well because their brand, their product, unlike the SEC schools and the ACC schools, is loan Notre Dame. And so, I mean, it's the TV rights. It's, I mean, Notre Dame made $33 million off of their playoff run last year. And so, I mean, it's millions of dollars. It's the punitive damages they're going to kill you. And maybe some of the other disruptive measures and remedies that are available. And I know we have more important things to talk about. I mean, this is pretty good. Maybe none of this will ever happen. But to me, I mean, if you believe the selection process was a good one, then okay. I mean, that's fine. We can just disagree. I'm not over my skis or out to lunch or whatever the caller said. I have a pretty good handle on this very narrow aspect of our federal laws. But I also have eyeballs. And I'll just say as a fan and as an alumni, when you sit there ranked in front of two teams for four weeks in front of one team for five weeks. And then both teams leap you, right? After you win by an average scoring margin of 30 points and the other one gets absolutely woodshed and looks bad against the five and seven team, loses to Oklahoma. I don't know. I mean, there is some doubt in my mind. But again, that's the process. The committee made their decision. Good luck to Alabama and Miami. And, you know, we'll just see what happens on whether or not this selection process can ever happen again with the influences that I do believe came from the outside. JTown is so mad and I absolutely love this. This is fantastic. So measured in his anger. Hey, hey, you're not just messing with some school with a billion dollar endowment. Okay. You're messing with a school with a $25 billion endowment that owns a TV network and is going to, you know, I don't know, harness all of the legal authorities and alumni that they can. uh to devise an outcome and if they don't call the fighting irish for no reason they're you could add up all 18 SEC schools and their endowment still wouldn't come up with uh Notre dames if you exclude Texas because their endowment has like 19 schools in it not just it's time for Donald Trump to step in the middle of this and demand a 16 team playoff and put us all to bed that that's the solution that we need uh expand it even further that that's the correct it Last point. Next year, if Notre Dame is ranked in the top 12, by contract, they have to be in. So there are sort of a bid stealer, even if they're ranked 12th, then they take one of those at large spots. Oh, my God, I love everything about this. I love how stupid all this is. It's fantastic. And by the way, this is exactly what ESPN wants. With the exception of losing a lawsuit, this is exactly what they want. All this conversation. All right, Jay. Okay, let's talk about the find out phase here for a second. Have you learned anything from the bombing of boats over the last week since we last talk that leads you to believe that maybe Pete Hegseth is a bloodthirsty murderer and is going to jail?

1:05:35

No, not at all. In fact, I'm even more convinced that my original read of the laws of war, laws of armed conflict, laws of war manual, Hague, Geneva Conventions, and Article 51 of the U.N. Charter all suggest that, you know, the United States has a right to defend itself. These are targets because of the president's executive order on January 20th, declaring Trend de Aragua, MS-13, and the cartels foreign terrorist organizations, that these are lawful targets. There's even some debate as to whether or not they're even considered enemy combatants. So this targeting of these boats will continue, has continued. In fact, it continued the day after the big, you know. Oh, no, they were having a briefing and they were droning boats at the same time. It's beautiful. I don't think that was an accident. No, not at all. And here's the thing that people need to understand. If somebody is trying to kick in your front door. And remember, you know, we've had 600,000 fatal overdoses in the last six years. That's more Americans that have died than died in World War II, Korea, Vietnam, and the global war on terror. So put that in perspective. That's just in the last six years. So if somebody's kicking your front door, trying to get in, you do not have to wait for them to be successful to kick that door in to defend your life and the life of your family. You can shoot right through the door. and stop that attack. That's what we are doing. These boats are on a supply chain to get to the United States, and you can swack any leg of that supply chain. And I voted for it. I can't wait to continue to see it happen. Yeah, well, I think you're going to see more of this. And I think that what's happened here is they've lost a little bit of their steam on their argument as pieces of it have gone away. First, it was Pete Hegseth was watching and was like, kill them all. And that never happened. Swapleckle. Yeah, and they were sitting there swimming with their arms up somehow, and that's not the case. And it's just the whole thing. It's just rather silly. You know they've lost their argument, Dale, because they initially said the second strike was illegal, it was a war crime. And now they're saying all the strikes, the initial, all of them, they're just immoral. We're better than this. Yeah. Well, that is a coward's pivot, right? Yeah. You know if they've lost the argument because they keep changing their argument. I mean, that's basically another way that you know that as well. Okay, let's talk a second here about something else that's happening. The Somali fraudsters. I read today it could be up to $8 billion. Eight billion. billion dollars in fraud. We're talking about like 80,000 people here, okay? We're about 80,000 people and others may have used these individuals as part of the fraud process. You have that happening, and Donald Trump saying, okay, protected status is gone. You're going back home. Could Ilhan Omar be put out of the country? It's not going to happen. I get it. She's a member of Congress. It's just not going to happen. But in theory, could Ilhan Omar lose her status?

1:08:42

The only way I see her losing her status really has nothing to do with this fraud program that kind of came out of the Biden administration's COVID funds, funding and programs. The way I see it, though, is Marco Rubio dusting off her application and her brother's application. Remember when they were married? And finding out if she lied on that application. If she did, there's no statute of limitations to that. But I think the more important thing is those 80,000 people rounding them up, prosecuting them, stopping any flow of money to the state of Minnesota for these programs, and holding everybody accountable that was responsible for this $8 billion in fraud. Look, this is what the Democrats have been doing. They don't want to get rich. They don't believe in capitalism and working for it. They want to give it to them, given to them. And so what they do is they have government fund NGOs or programs or grant programs. They get the money that way. It's just giving it, given to them. And that is not the American way. And that is not what my tax dollars are supposed to be going for. But that's exactly what has been happened through these NGOs and USAID and now these grant programs. Have you watched the mayor of a... the mayor of Minnesota or the mayor of Minneapolis eating the Somali food. I've never had Somali food. Maybe it's delicious, but he didn't look like that was not a good selling point. Yeah. And that was right after he got back from the nail salon. So you know he's probably pretty happy, right? He was recycling his sandals that morning. Then he went to the salon for a mani Petty. And then he had lunch with the Somali diner. And it just ruined his day. Unbelievable. All right. Last thing here. Birthright citizenship, apparently the Supreme Court is taking this up. It was originally put in place for the children of slaves that were born in the United States. It has been bastardized and expanded to mean basically anyone that downloads a baby onto U.S. soil. And 19 of their closest family members get in if you can pull that off. The Supreme Court blows this up. What happens to all the people that have been given? legal status. What happens to them? Well, so it is important. Or give an American citizenship, excuse me. Correct. Yeah. What happens? Yeah, I know what you meant. So the, the idea that is that, one, the Supreme Court doesn't take cases if they agree with the circuit court typically, right? And the circuit court in this case said that the birthright citizenship EO from Trump was unlawful. And so the Supreme Court taking it, they feel there's a need to resolve something, and you need four justices to take this in box. So there's at least four that think this issue needs to be resolved. As far as, I mean, the thing about the Supreme Court, we have no ex facto laws in Article 1. However, if the Supreme Court deems something unlawful, or unconstitutional. That applies back to the beginning of time. So if you were one of these people that were born in the United States to two, let's say two illegal immigrants, you're not a citizen anymore. And those are high stakes. I get that for the Supreme Court. But at some point, we have to have some common sense. We're the only country in the world that does it this way. The only one.

And so, in fact, most countries have you have to be a citizen. Both parents have to be a citizen before your kid to be born a citizen of that country. After you download them, of course. My mom's listening. Dale. Just chat. Emily, will you? Emily, do something. Smack them. Jay, there's nothing I can do. Okay. All right. All right. Jay Town. Thank you very much. Thanks, guys. He is. Oh, my Lord, you guys are fired up about this football stuff. And once again, I remind you Alabama fans, you big babies. Listen to me and listen to me good. You won! Okay, you got what you wanted. Let everyone else complain and bitch and whine. That's all you got to do. You won the battle. All you have to do is let people whine. That's it. That's it. That's all you got to do. It's all you got to do. And I'm very, very amused by this personally because let's just be real bad. Let's create a scenario where the exact opposite happens here. Okay, let's just, again, this goes back to, I think the easiest way to look at politics or sports or anything else is what would be going on if this had happened to Alabama. what would be going on here. It's kind of funny. I had someone tell me last week that they would almost prefer this was a Georgia fan, that Georgia not get into the, not get into the SEC championship for this very reason. For this very reason. If Alabama doesn't go in here and lose the game. They weren't even having this conversation. They go on and off they go. I mean, there's no question about it. I just don't think there's any issue. But because they went in and they lost the game. that becomes a whole other story here. That is the real thing here. That is the real issue. And I'll tell you, I'm happy about this. I enjoy this kind of stuff. I love it when people are mad. I love it when people are upset about this. I love that people are passionate about this because it's a fun thing for people to talk about. It really is. And Emily, one of the listeners has a message for you. I'm sure. Please tell Emily that Alabama is already and has been all year on the national stage. A little fast there, but the comment was that Alabama has been on the national stage all year long. And they have had the opportunity to kind of make their case. And they took three L's. And in order to get there and they just backed in. They had a good run. On the road, you know, those October-November games, strength of schedule is there for them. I get it. I just don't know that that's where we need to be right now. Here's a question for you. All right. Caleb Dabor still need to be fired. I was pretty mad at him during the game. Pretty sure I texted you and said send them on to PIN. But I was mad. You're in the college football playoff. Just be happy. I was fireballing. What can I say? I was mad. There was a lot of fireballing, I think, going on to the cinnamon variety. And that's, yeah, no. He got you guys to the college football playoff. Be happy about it. You're probably paying him a big bonus for doing it.

1:21:16

Watching this college football playoff situation. That's not the right one. Get out of here. I don't want to hear that one. I'm hear this one. You should throw the day I text reading voice in a lake with Yaff's recumbent bicycle and Bugsys bare claws. There's a listener right there. That person completely understands that Yavie, put your recumbent bicycle in the lake, or would you just ask for another one for Christmas? Um, yeah, I'd have to ask for another one, I guess. Yeah, you can't let that go. Can't let that go. Okay, let's get another one in here. Real quick. The bug noise is too long. What about a swatting a bug sound or something else that is quicker? Exactly. Bugsy jumping in there and making that point earlier today. I'm listening to it as much as I listened to her make that argument. So yeah, we'll see what happens there. That auto comment voice is crackling and annoying. A slight improvement over Emily, but annoying nonetheless. Hey, you guys don't seem to understand how the echo works, but thank you very much for talking over these things as I'm trying to work them. So thank you so much for that. I think I'm going to jettison the sound effect. I think that's probably what we're going to do. I think that's wise. I think I'm going to jettison that thing. Kind of a pain in the ass. It makes things harder. And why would I make things harder on myself like I always do? I can never just do the radio show. You ever notice this? I can never just do the radio show. I'm always screwing around with other stuff. Why can't I just be like, yeah, if you'd be lazy as hell, right? All right. Well, let's get to it. Good luck. Bugsy, you're up first. Go ahead. So today I have a really niche hate today. I think I usually do, actually. Actually, she's sick, and I don't know why I'm making her talk at all. But go ahead, bug me. Surprisingly, my hate is not being sick. My hate today is, I don't know how to say it. They're just like, they're people who show pigs, like pig showers. Like, I don't know. It's like professional pig breeders or something. But have you ever seen them? I thought you were talking about, like, skinny guys with fat girls. Dale. That's not a pig show word. No, it's like people who like they go to like competitions where they're pigs that they've read. And have you ever seen them? They do like these compilations where they think they look just so cool, I guess. And they just look so stupid the way they stare down the camera and the judge. I have no idea what you're talking about. Just look it up. Just look it up. Okay. I said it was niche. But it's so stupid. I'm going to look up the pig showers thing. Okay, I'm on it. It's stupid. Don't do that on a work computer. Okay, pig showers. Okay. No, don't do that. Ah! Ah! Ah! Okay. Yeah. Bugs. Emily, what do you hate that on? Hi, remember me? That's how my mom talks to. Bruce. He's been dead for 15 years and he's your ex-husband. Why are you saying his name? Continue on. Listen. I'm hating on the Whitman sampler that husband got in Dirty Santa this weekend or a white elephant because my mom thinks it's mean to play Dirty Santa so we have to call it White Elephant. Whitman sampler. Is this like donuts and stuff? No, no, no, no, the chocolate sampler. Okay, I'm sorry. So it was part of the thing that he won in the game and we get home to open it and there's like three spots that are just chocolate covered peanuts. And I feel like that's a cop out. Like you, it's supposed to be.

1:24:31

your nice little chocolates or whatever. But there's three sections in there where they just threw them some chocolate peanuts. Anybody can do that, Whitman's. They used to only have one in it. It was awful. So I guess they've cheered out. This isn't even like the peanut cluster. I can get on board with the peanut cluster because that was in there. But these are just like four little chocolate covered peanuts in one of the sections. The assorted chocolate box. The assorted chocolate box. is the worst thing in the world. No, it's not I love them. Yeah, I don't like it. I don't like it. Nobody likes all the chocolates. There's all these gross things inside. Well, that's what they make you appreciate the good ones. That's not what my type two diabetic husband thinks. He likes all the chocolates. Yeah, well, he was drinking eggnog at like 8 a.m. So what do you need to? You would drink eggnog at 8 a.m. If you were having Christmas with my family, too. Yeah, that's probably true. That's probably true. All right, yeah, sir. What do you hate on? I'm hating on. Many in the online right that think it's a good idea to just keep talking about and platforming Nick Fuentes and Candace Owens. I've just, I saw Stephen Crowder. add Nick Fuentes on. I'm convinced that half the people that watch or listen to Candace Owens or Nick Fuentes at this point are people that are just hating on them and want to talk about how much they hate on them. And I'm getting to a point where I'm like, can we just ignore these idiots? Like why do we keep giving them more attention? You cannot. It is almost like a Marjorie Taylor Greene situation where we all know this is bad for us, but we keep consuming it. And that's that's what it is. And Candace Owens is a grifter. There's no question about it. Nick Fuentes, I think, believes what he's saying, but he's just a moron. And Stephen Crowder platforming him is desperate. That is a desperate thing. Yeah, I mean, and that's what's so obvious about it. He's doing it just to get the attention and the clicks. It's like, we know what you're doing, but I guess it works. Yeah, I got a real, I got a real problem with that. I don't like it at all. And I'm not a big fan. Here's a. I'm not saving this for the question because it will make no sense, but I want to put it in here anyway. Was pig breeder Dale's nickname in the army? That right there is someone who spent some time in the military if I've heard it. That right there is absolutely amazing. Okay, all right. All right. Dale, what are you hating on? I am hating on. on the continuing of the platforming, oddly enough, since Yaffe kind of brought that up, but this is of the two young idiots from the University of Alabama who have decided that they are the face of DEI. And boy, oh boy, if they are the face of DEI, they're at least pre-diabetic. All right, and they've got some issues going on here, but they have taken these two women. that run these magazines at the University of Alabama. One is a magazine for women. The other is a magazine for black students. And they have taken them and put them all over television. They were on with Victor Blackwell of CNN this weekend. And it is so embarrassing. They can't put two sentences together to save their life. They continue to be brought up.

1:27:55

in order to explain why their magazines have been canceled, but nobody wants to talk about the actual reason. They just say things that are like, don't you feel bad that you'll no longer have a byline at this magazine? No, I don't care, but why would I care about that? They're not talking to them about why the magazine was canceled by the university, and it's because... It was for black individuals only, or it was for women only, and DEI is over. So they're done with all of these things that were state funding for particular entities that are based on race, gender, sexual orientation, sexual identity, or whatever. And they've tried their best to make it that these girls are victims. And the only thing they're victims is of all the adults around them that told them they're good enough. I mean, to go on national television and discuss this issue because they can't do it. And none of the people talking to them ever say, yeah, but what if there was a, I don't know, whites only magazine on campus? Should the school pay for that? That's all you have to ask. And the whole argument falls apart. Which is why it never gets asked. But these terrible, terrible people are running around. And just in the interest of fairness and full disclosure, I reached out to them and offered them an opportunity to come on this program. And wouldn't you believe it? Neither of them even responded. I know. I was shocked. I am absolutely shocked to see that they wouldn't respond. Very upsetting. Very upsetting. Very upsetting. Yaffe, this DEI conversation has Alabama in it, so we're never going to hear the end of this, correct? Correct. Unfortunately. I hate the non-stop focus on this state. Even it's a completely reasonable thing. Why are they not? Why did they cancel these magazines? Simply put. their DEI and DEI is dead. The end. It's not like some hate-filled thing that's happening, but that's how it's being framed. And I'm just irritated, especially by our friends in the media who are like, oh, it's a free speech issue. It's not. The state has no obligation to fund your little pet project. They can still do it if they want, it's on their own dime. Right. No one's punishing them. No one's punishing their viewpoint. They're just saying we're not going to fund it. And again, I'm serious about this. What would they be doing if there was a whites only magazine on campus? They'd lose their damn mind and they'd burn the school down. which probably be the best thing that could happen. But anyway, don't do that. Okay, let's take a quick time out. We'll be right back right here on WVN. Let me tell you about Mr. Appliance. Mr. Appliance, Bill and those guys are great. How do I know? I've used them. A lot. Yeah. I'm not a very handy person. Some people say I'm not a very smart person. Well, yeah, let me tell you something's really smart. Talking to my friends over there at Mr. Appliance. A refrigerator had an issue. They came out and fixed it.

1:30:55

Dryer, same thing. Washer, same thing. Dishwasher, same thing. All of those things saved me thousands of dollars. Now my wife wanted to replace each and every one of those. Let's get something shiny. Let's make sure the dishwasher has Wi-Fi or whatever. I don't want any of that. I like what I got. My friend over there at Mr. Appliance came out and took care of it. Let Bill and the folks at Mr. Appliance take care of you. Schedule your appointment. Hear what they can do for you. Go to Mr.appliance.com today. When you do, tell him Dale Jackson sent you. This is the Dale Jackson Show. 92 5 FMWVN. Dale Jackson here with you. Thank you very much for joining us. Appreciate you every single day. And we also appreciate Mayor Zohran Mamdani. Yeah, very excited about what he's been up to. He's already paying off. You elect a socialist who is an internationalist, a globalist, and you're going to get more globalist stuff. And here he is making the argument that the illegal immigrants are safe in New York City. This is just what I wanted from. Thank you. Last weekend, ICE attempted to raid Canal Street and detain our immigrant neighbors. As mayor, I'll protect the rights of every single New Yorker, and that includes the more than 3 million immigrants who call the city their home. But we can all stand up to ICE if you know your rights. If you encounter ICE, these are the things that every New Yorker should know. First, ICE cannot enter into private spaces like your home, school, or a private area of your workplace without a judicial warrant signed by a judge. That looks like this. It's also not true, but okay.

1:33:01

Blah, blah, blah, blah. If ICE does not have a judicial warrant signed by a judge, you have the right to say, I do not consent to entry. And the right to keep your door closed. Sometimes ICE will show you paperwork that looks like this. Warrant for removal deportation. That is false. ICE is legally allowed to lie to you, but you have the right to remain silent. If you're being detained, you may always ask, am I free to go, repeatedly, until they answer you. You are legally allowed to film ICE as long as you do not interfere with an arrest. It is important to remain calm during any interaction with ICE or law enforcement. Do not impede their investigation, resist arrest, or run. One last thing, New Yorkers have a constitutional right to protest, and when I'm mayor, we will protect that right. New York will always welcome immigrants. And I will fight each and every day to protect, support, and celebrate our immigrant brothers and sisters. I'm a big fan of this. I love every single thing about it. I want to see more of this stuff from these guys. Come out. Show who you are. Make it clear that you support illegal immigrants coming into this country illegally. I want them out there running defense for the Somalis. I want them doing that. And I cannot stress this enough. It is good for the country for them to do this because it shows you what you get in this situation. The only thing that has been more illustrative of what a reckless and stupid movement the far left is is all the ugly girls running around making the, I love Luigi Mangione. Oh, he's so great. And running there and calling themselves the girls from Man Luigi or whatever. Those girls, I love it. They're very smart on their part. Can't get a man outside. Well, wait until he's inside with a bunch of dudes. Then, then maybe he'll find you attractive. I'm probably not. I'll probably turn gay inside prison. But that doesn't matter. Don't look at me like that, Emily. I just raised my eyebrows. That's all. One of the stories about Mangione. is that he was over in Thailand and he didn't pay for the services of a couple of transgender ladies. So it's not that far off. I'm not the one who's saying these things. He's the one saying these things. So that's his issue. But the ugly girls for Luigi, they're out there too. So again, nothing could be better for my side. the side of sanity and realism, then them continuing to run man, uh, Zorha, Zohran Mamdani out there, uh, and support things like Luigi Mangione, Mangione killing people. I'm all for it. Keep it up, guys. Keep it up. It's the Dale Jackson show. Jim Rome takes on sports. Part of what makes this show, the show within the show. The biggest topic on the show always seems to be the show itself. This is a way to give you clones a way to interact with one another. Yes, we will be going through the chat. Yes, it'll be a part of the program. The only thing that could ruin the show are the old school clones spitting up the same bull crap that they always have. The jungle is out taking names and ready to dominate. Let's get it. The Jim Rome Show podcast. Follow and listen on your favorite platform.

1:36:09

form. All right, correct me if I'm wrong, but it's not the U.S. soccer like commercial we're running here on WVN. Beautiful. Am I the only one that thinks that it's absolutely amazing? Because their entire premise is we're Americans. We're unreasonable as hell and we think we deserve everything. And we're going to get out there and we're going to fake it until we make it. I think that's great. What do you think about this commercial and does it get you excited for soccer? It's hard for me to get excited for soccer, but the commercial's good. You could have just said it's hard for me to get excited and stop talking. But go on, yeah, me. Go on. That was it. Fine. No, the commercial is good. So maybe I will be excited. I think it's pretty good. Look, I love some good jingoism. So it's my favorite thing. It really is. I mean, I'm not a soccer fan. But, you know, I might, if I walk by a soccer jersey that says USA on it, I might consider buying it. I might consider buying it. And then I'll go, oh, wait, I'm straight. And then I continue moving on. But yeah, I'm joking. I actually, I have come to really love soccer. I really have. I have come to really love soccer since I've been like coaching it and stuff. It's a lot more fun than I remember playing it. Did I ever tell you about my experience as a intramural? indoor soccer player at the University of Florida? Oh, Lord, no. Wow. How is there a story of you we don't know about? It lasted a grand total of three minutes of game time. I scored two goals, got two penalties, and was banned from the next game. And they told me, don't play anymore. So that's it. I went bouching guards and everything. And I played, and I scored two goals, and then I was told you're off the team. So, no, there it is. So. You're not allowed to slide tackle people. I'll explain this more, but you just... Yeah, there is. So, very unfortunate, very unfortunate. Jaytown just sent me a message. Notre Dame Athletic Director Pete Buckvallaca will hold a press conference tomorrow at noon. I'm telling you, the correct answer is to expand it to 16 teams. Injunctive relief. to quash any potential lawsuit. Those are legal terms, Jaffe. I've been practicing. And I've been using them today. I don't know if they're- I thought you were a lawyer. I was like, wow. Yeah, yeah, but they're working on it. And yeah, I think that the right thing to do is expand it to 16 teams and say to health. In fact, I'll go a step further. I think they should expand it to 20 teams and take those eight teams that they're, listen, listen, take those eight teams, make them play a preliminary playing round, and then they get to then be slotted against the teams that have the buy.

1:39:12

So I think it's pretty good. I've solved the issue for you. 20 team playoff. You know what? 64. That's so ridiculous. Just continue, continue growing it. But make me the commissioner. Make me the commissioner. All right, moving on. You guys have been weighing in on a lot of different things. Let's get some of your thoughts in here. I was asking the question of what we should call our new voice text person. Call it the WVNN-Suck-Rolux voice annoyance sperbulator. Sperbulator? Sperbilator. I don't know. I think that's a little much. What, yeah, you don't like that? What is it? The spurbulator? I don't know what it means. I just put the text in a voice. I was going to Google it. I would not Google that or pig feeder or whatever they're calling. The other things. All right. Let's get to another one here. Let's see. How about this? You should name it Skynet 1.0. Oh, wait. This is where Skynet starts. It was all a voice. It was all a text of voice product on a radio show. I don't remember that in the movie. Say that again. I don't remember that in the movie. Well, I don't know. I don't know. How did the Android age? Do anyone tell us this? Do they ever explain this? How it ages it towards the end of the series when Arnold Schwarzenegger goes into the last one and he's all old? What happened there? It's something to do with. The fact they used real human tissue means it could age or something. I mean, that's fine, but couldn't you just peel all the skin off and just be the murderous robot that they always were underneath? I mean, that's all they had to do. There's a giant plot hole there. All right. Now. Back to the college football situation. I just want to, I want this person perfectly exemplified my point of view. Watching this college football playoff situation is the only time college football is even remotely entertaining or worth paying attention to. More arguing, please. That's exactly. ESPN's like, hell yeah. I don't agree with you. Only remotely entertaining or worth paying attention to. But yes, more arguing, please, I think is a fair way to look at this. And ESPN is just ecstatic about this. Ecstatic. And don't think that they didn't screw Notre Dame intentionally in order to, A, protect Alabama and B, get the most watched team. in the nation in the series. Not that people weren't going to watch the brackets anyway. People are going to watch Old Miss and Tulane, okay? They're going to watch that game. Okay, they are. I bet Yaffe will even turn that game on and watch that game. But now more people are going to watch Alabama play Oklahoma. Emily, you're an Alabama fan and you like it when other teams get screwed over and then cry all the time when you guys even remotely get wrong. Shut up.

1:42:11

Do they go into Norman and destroy the Sooners, or do they go into Norman with their black hoodie and get destroyed? I think it's somewhere in the middle. I think they put up, listen, I think they put up a good fight. We've got some folks that'll be returning a bit more healthy. So I just, I don't know. It's been, it's been consistently inconsistent this year. I can't say. God, you know. And I don't like that. I'm someone that likes consistency and structure. Yeah, I mean, I'm going to tell you something here real quick. Okay. This is the thing that kind of, that kind of kills me. Okay, you're a UCF guy. I'm a Florida guy. By the way, the University of Tulane Gators. are doing a great job. I look very excited about them getting in. They're letting the new head coach of the Gators continue coaching that team, and it's going to be fantastic. So I'm rooting for those guys. John Summerall, two national championships in a row. He goes and wins ones with Tulane, and then he turns around, and he turns around and wins one with Florida next year. So that's what I'm pulling for. So Tulane is my pick for this, even though I think they'll probably get just absolutely destroyed by. a lane kiffinless is that right how you say it a lane kiffinless um old miss they still should let lane kiffin coach why did they do that why did they why did they not let them do that i just don't get why they did not come around and say just just work that out i understand there's more hurt feelings and all this other stuff i i i get that i get that but they should have been able to figure this out so i'm a little upset about it but i don't i don't i don't I kind of understand their reasoning behind it or they're like I assume their reasoning behind it because you can't you can't have it both ways and he drugged this decision out and I think he always knew what he was going to do but I I don't have any qualms with him not being able to coach them in it. And they'll have Pete Golding and he's been there coaching him. So they've got somebody they know and stuff like that. But he drug it out. He kept them in the national spotlight. And he kind of made a scene. So I feel like you wouldn't reward. what I perceive is bad behavior there by letting him coach him in the playoffs. Oh, my God. Just win, baby. That is my response to that. But yeah, I mean, here's what I was going to tell you. Listen to this. Nine and four last year. And you would have thought that, you know, it was the worst thing that it ever happened to the University of Alabama. But let's go back one year. 12 and 2, 11 and 2, 13 and 2, 13 and 1, 13 and 1, 14 and 1, 14 and 1, 14 and 1, 12 and 1, 12 and 1, 12 and 1, 10 and 3, 14 and 0, 12 and 2. Well, I mean, they're just spoiled. I mean, that's what it is. So, incredibly spoiled. It's just, it makes.

You guys make me sick. That's what I'm saying. You make me sick. I have to listen to you guys. Why? Why don't you go back to the mic years? Like, we've been through our crap. You know what I mean? Sure. Okay. That's completely fine and understandable that you guys had a bad run. 20 years ago. Okay. Let's just stop. I mean, good Lord. I think Florida lost more games. I think Florida has lost more games than Alabama. More names this year than it has lost in the last four years. Okay. I mean, so just, God, it's so annoying. It's like a billionaire complaining about not getting their million dollar bonus. Yes, yes. Thank you, Yaffy. Everybody needs you chiming in, Yaffy, trying to make sense of all this voice of reason. It's also, you know, not only, well, no, in this situation. It's like a billionaire bitching about getting a million dollar bonus because they got the bonus. They still got the gift. They handed the gift and they're still complaining. Why are you guys mad that we like. We set our eyes on the prize, right? And we've built a program around dedication and excellence and high standards. And that is our, that is our watermark to reach every time. You're just, you're laying out, you're laying out. That's why we're mad. You just, you just. Because we figured out and set a standard for our program that we expect them to, to reach every year. Yes. All right. Yes. No, wait, hold on, hold on. Yes, I'm jealous. I don't understand what they're not making that. I don't know what you have. He's not. You just get so butt hurt about everything and say that we get butt hurt about a 13 in one season or something like that. Listen to these guys. And you guys are so damn bitter and mean on top of that. Having attended Alabama at the end of the Bears tenure, I think screwing Notre Dame to get into the playoffs is just icing on the cake. I like that guy. He's so bad. That's smug. He's supposed to say. Who's weighing in it? Who is this guy? He's very passionate. I love, I love it. His voice is like so incredibly annoying that I'm actually becoming a fan of this thing. Hold on a second. Let's get another one in here. Get your thoughts. If Lane Kiffin went on to win a national championship with Ole Miss, he would be able to recruit all the more. It would give him a bigger platform with LSU. I like that this is the new voice. Yaffey, what do you think? You like the British lady or this guy? The problem I have with this guy is he's almost too good. I'm a little worried. We're going to give cumulus ideas. I'm like, hey. Just for the whole show. There's a 90% chance that Kimos was going to find out about this and be like, stop it. You cannot do this. I get it off. Stop having fun. Stop enjoying yourself. Stop it. I hate you. Wait, sorry. That's what you have. He's going to text me later. No, Cummills will tell you that. We'll tell you that. Holy.

1:48:33

Holy cow. So the complaining is here, and it's wonderful. You're going to Oklahoma. You're going to win. It's what's going to happen. Alabama is so frustrating when it comes to college football. Because I moved here in 2007. And you guys were on like a little lull and you picked up some short little loser from LSU or wherever he was coming from at the time. Miami. That's right. Miami. Some loser from the NFL, excuse me. And I was like, all right. Florida, you got Timo. Timo wins a championship. The first day I'm in Alabama, the first day I go on the radio in Alabama, Tim Timo wins a championship. I'm like, all right, here we go. This is it. The next year, LSU wins. Then Florida comes back and wins again. I'm like, oh, my God, this is the beginning. This is the beginning. Then Urban Meyer's heart starts hurting or some nonsense. And then off we go into the doldrums of 27 different coaches. And then here we go. It's unbelievable. It's absolutely unbelievable. One more text in here and then we will move on. And on the other side, we will get in to 10 with him. We'll use the original brainless text to talk person. I have a brain, you idiot. How did you know I was referring to you? How did you know? That's completely... By the way, by the way, Dale, I know how you feel. I mean, UCF went from national champions. to not doing as well. I mean, it's, it's, it's not good. Let me get to this. You deserve what's about to happen here. steal from Yaffi's bit and call this talk to speech thing the voice of reason. I actually like that. That's exactly what we're going to do. Hey, let's check it with the voice of reason, the audience. That is exactly what we're going to do. That is exactly what we're going to do. That is a great idea. That is a fantastic idea. Emily, your thoughts? It doesn't matter what I think. That's true. That is a very, that's a very good point. Let's take a quick time out. We come back. Our original text to talk bot, Emily, will read your questions to me and I will answer. But you still get those in here. 866-494 WVN. Let's take that time out. That's the ScoutPestcontrol.com. WVNN. Hot take text line. We'll be right back. Deal. Jackson. All right. All right. I'm Dale Jackson. That is Emily Hayes. We got Yaffy and Bugsy here as well. We also have the voice of reason.

1:51:25

Mr. TextBot. I don't know. We'll work on it. We'll figure something out for him. And yeah, you guys have sent in a lot of very good questions here today. So let's go ahead and get to it. Let's get to 10 with him. 10. It's time to answer the deep questions. It's 10 with him. 10 questions about 10 minutes, politics, personal attacks, pro wrestling, parisocial relationships, and more. Yes, we've got a whole bunch of different things going on here. So let's go ahead and get to it. Emily. Read those texts, brainless text bot. Why aren't you addressing Trump's garbage Somalis comment? I did address it. I think he's right. What do you want me to say? I think that what he's talking about here is that he referred to the people who are ripping off this country, both with immigration fraud and with straight up fraud against services that are supposed to be for Americans. I think he's pissed about it. I think he's right. Take out the trash. There you go. Next question. Was Bama ever not going to be in? Man, the conspiracy theorists are everywhere, including J-Town, a former U.S. attorney. Yeah, I think that they were in a pretty good position from the very beginning. And since they lost and still got in, I think there was no question that they were always going to get in. If they're close, they're usually going to benefit. Last year, I think was the one instance where they got closed and they kind of got screwed out of something. And I thought they got screwed last year. Next question. Do you have a go-to Somali dish?

1:53:06

No, but it looks disgusting. I'm sorry. Go watch Jacob Frey or whatever his name is, the mayor of Minneapolis eating that stuff. Watch him. Again, I hate to do this, but he looks like Grant when he doesn't want to eat what's on the plate. So he just kind of moves it around. Looks like he's doing something and it says he's done. That's what he's doing. And he's like shoveling it in and his face is like, oh my God, what am I doing? Politicians, stop eating on camera. Unless it's a giant corn dog at the Iowa State Fair so I can Photoshop stuff in there. That's the only thing I want you to do. I was reading Yaffe's text. Sorry. Continue. If the conference championship games don't matter, then why play the game opt out? A good friend of the program, Matt Murphy, made that exact point. He said he would prefer Georgia not get in to the SEC championship because if they lose, people would make the argument they don't belong in the playoffs. It's exactly what happened here. And now people are making that argument. I mean, it turns out it didn't matter. So I guess you could have opted out, but yeah, maybe that would have been the right move. They're all opting out of bowl games now. They've all decided that's what they're going to do, which I don't, I don't hate it. I don't hate the argument. Next question. Can you stop referring to Tommy Tuberville as the governor-elect? It's dishonest and ignores Chig Martin's candidacy. Okay, all right. I'm so sorry. What about Jamal Jermaine Brown and Doug Jay Jones? Okay, sorry. I will no longer refer to him as the governor-elect in the interest of fairness. I will refer to him as Governor-elect national championship winning coach, United States Senator. Tommy Tuberville. Thank you for your notes. I will take them into my mind and into my heart. Next question. Does Trump's clumsy messaging hurt him or does it force Democrats to take the wrong side of 80-20 issues? I don't know. I'm kind of torn on it. Him say, look at this garbage or whatever his comment is about that. I think it force, the media sees it, goes, ooh, I want to talk about this. And everyone goes, But he's talking about fraudsters. What are you mad about? He's talking about people ripping off the country. He's talking about all this stuff. What do you do? I think, yeah, you help me out here. Is it a brilliant maneuver to force the media to talk about it? Or is it, quote, unquote, clumsy messaging? I think it's smart. I think it's smart to have them talk about it. I don't know if it's brilliant. Everyone says it's brilliant. It's 40 chess, Yaffe. Next question. Dale, do you think you should submit your voice to be used as a chat voice and call it annoying voice? You know, I wonder how many people would actually do that if they had it like an option. You pick the Dale voice and then they click that voice and it's like, hey, my day and I. I don't think people would be very excited about that. But yeah, if they paid me, I mean, we're happy to do that. But thanks a lot of recording, I think, to go and get all those proper. consonants and all these. Is that the right word? I don't know what I'm about. Sololibics in there. You got to make sure you do it. Sololibics? Yep. You got to get it in there. All right. Next question. Who is your dream co-host? Ugh. No one. That's why it's called the Dale Jackson Show. I didn't ask for this. I've had this voice it upon me repeatedly. Yeah, wouldn't it be nice if you had a co-host? No. I'm an annoying person here. Just give me the money. Give me the money. That's what we're saying.

1:56:43

Next question. If you could grill any... Oh, sorry to answer your question. The answer is Emily. Sorry. If you could grill any historical figure from Alabama history, who would it be in why? Like for like a cookout? No, you big goober. Oh. I would say Big Jim Polsom because a lot of meat. That's what I would say. But I would say Governor Wallace, I'd be like... Tell me about being out inwarded again. Tell me more about that and how Democrats would try to rebuild your legacy after you said terrible stuff like that. This is The Dale Jackson Show. Jim Rome takes on sports. I will always have a complicated relationship with this game. But people evolve. So do sports. Do not make me regret this. Do not make me devolve.
