This isn't going to be super exciting to the point where I think it changes all too much, to be honest with you. But it's important nonetheless. It's important nonetheless to see this happening. It is important nonetheless to see the numbers come down. The economy improves when those things happen. A lot of people, oh, it's going to turbocharge the economy. It's going to make inflation happen. It's possibility. That's true. I mean, it is. It's a real possibility that that is exactly what happens. And yeah, there's got to be some concern about that, guys. That is the truth. And I'm not going to sit here and pretend that that's not. We'll talk a little bit about that in a little bit. Coming up today, we've got some great guests for you. Excuse me, Congressman Mo Brooks will be with us and we'll talk with him in a little bit this hour. We also has State Senator Sam Cavan here with us too. He'll join us in the next hour of the program. And I'm happy to have those guys on the program voicing their opinion. You know, I took a lot of heat yesterday because I made it. pretty clear that I didn't understand why it wasn't a bigger deal what we are seeing with Eli Lilly. And I think a lot of you seem to, this is just my perception, seem to believe that Eli Lilly is like a bad entity, a bad player. and that we don't want this kind of production here in the area. We don't want these kind of drugs being made here. I don't think that most people share that perspective. I don't share that perspective. And the other side of it is a lot of you are worried about the roads and things of that nature. I always look at this and I'm always somewhat perplexed by how people respond to this kind of stuff and what they're seen because the roads here are pretty damn good. And I know a lot of people don't believe that and they look at this and they say it takes too long to get anywhere and all this other stuff. And that's a completely fine thing to feel and think and have that as an issue. I'm not suggesting you're wrong for feeling that way or any of that stuff.

But I will suggest to you, and I'll say this straight up, there is a reality that I think people need to understand. There's a truth behind this that people need to get. This area is growing, and we are somewhat immune. to the economic realities of the rest of the world. And all you have to do is go look back to the 2008 situation. Right before that presidential election, there was a housing crisis, for lack of a better way to put it. And that housing crisis, we kind of avoided it. I mean, that's just the truth. We kind of avoided that housing crisis. And I know there will be, well, I didn't avoid the housing crisis. No, I'm sure that you did not, I'm sure that you did not avoid the housing crisis. I get that. I get that. I'm not suggesting that everyone did. And there's plenty of people who can tell me, no, no, not me, not me. I didn't avoid it. There are plenty of people that can tell me that. I'm not dismissing what you're saying. But as a whole, we fared better than everybody else. So when we see stuff like this, we should be happy about it. We should be very happy about it. And I think there's just a lot of people who seem to be missing the point what a $6 billion investment in the community means. And some of us are just out of touch. I'll just be honest. Dale at WVNN.com. But this is one of the messages that I thought was most interesting. This came in yesterday in the middle of the day, I think. I guess this person had been kind of thinking about this and fired this off. Let's listen to it from our little British robot friend. Dale, you act surprised that people don't seem that excited about an $8 billion development coming to the Huntsville area. It's true. I mean, that part's true. I am surprised. Again, you would think this would be a humongous deal. I mean, it's a lot of money. It's $6 billion, but whatever. Just five years ago that would have been a $500 million development. Yarn. Yon. Well, yes, inflation has had an impact. It has not had an impact making things multiply, you know. 12 times over. That's not true. So it's not that high. Inflation is not 1,200 percent. That's not an accurate thing. Five years ago, it wouldn't have been a $500 million development. But it's not five years ago. It's right now.

It's right now. Now is the time in which we are living. So that's worth noting. Plus, are we supposed to get excited about even more people coming into the area and buying up real estate and making it less affordable? Yes. Yes. Yes, you are. That's exactly right. You are absolutely supposed to get excited about new jobs coming to the area. Absolutely. You were supposed to, yes. Yes. You are, you are, you are yes, yes, yes. I cannot stress this enough. Yes. You should be getting excited about new people coming to the area. You should be excited about that. That is exactly the thing that I'm, that's the perspective I'm trying to put out here, is you should absolutely be excited about this. But man, some of you. You're against it. I mean, that's it. You're getting everything. I'm against that. I'm against that. I'm against it all. I was reading yesterday on social media and there were a lot of people complaining that it's only 450 jobs. Or that not enough of those jobs are going to be filled by locals only. I mean, the simple fact of the matter is that that's just not true. Yeah, there'll be some people that move here for these jobs. Surely, surely. But it always brings jobs for locals. They're not bringing in 450 people just to fill those jobs. That's not what's going to happen. Locals are going to get these jobs. Good jobs with benefits. But you read some of these comments and you would think that this is the end of days. You would think that this is the worst thing that could happen. I would kind of argue, and maybe I'm wrong here, I would kind of argue that this is, this is, this is bigger, this is bigger than the space command thing. This is bigger than that. This is bigger than that.

And I think people need to understand that. And people need to get this. And people need to think about this correctly, not in the wrong way. 6 billion investment for only 450 jobs. That's 13 million per head. Yeah, but what's the metric you're using here? What is this? Why are you saying this? Why are you saying that? First off, that's not true. Okay, let's make sure we get this. Because there's other jobs that have come in with this as well. They're construction jobs. They're temporary jobs. But damn, if you're in the construction industry, you absolutely are happy about that. Okay? So let's make sure we get that part. Okay? Well, again, let's be honest about it. So you're actually dividing that by what, 3,500 jobs? Okay. So really, if you want to do that way, it's $1.7 million per job. But forget about that. I don't even care about that. This isn't $6 billion in tax incentives. This isn't, it's not that. That's not what's happening. I mean, there are tax incentives and infrastructure stuff involved and all these other things. That's true. That's absolutely true. But what exactly doesn't add up in this situation? What exactly is it that you think is missing here? You think Eli Lilly's coming here to lose money? You think that's what they're doing? That doesn't make any sense. That doesn't add up. All of asking us to do is look at this and look at this in a reasonable way. And the reasonable way you look at this, and in my opinion, the reasonable way that you look at this is to say, okay, does this make the community better? The answer is yes. It takes a bunch of unused. land and puts jobs on it, puts a ton of economic development in an industry that we should want more of. Diversification is the term. What does your investment portfolio look like? You've got stocks, you got bonds, you've got liquid, your cash, you cash liquid, you've got that. You want to make sure that you have real estate. You want to make sure that you're doing all sorts of different things. You don't just want to have one thing. Okay, we want to have missile defense. We want to have pharmaceutical research. We want to have manufacturing. These are all good things. All good things. And there's a lot here that you got to look at and you got to think about. I don't know, man. The complaints about infrastructure don't do anything for me. I'm sorry. I've lived in places where the roads are far worse, and it's not even remotely debatable. There's not a place in this town I can't get, or there's not a place in North Alabama that I can't get.

to within 45 minutes. There's just not a place in town I can't get to within 45 minutes. I'm sorry. It's great. It's absolutely great. It's absolutely great. And on top of that, yeah, again, you guys make some very good points on the text line. I got to tell the truth here. You guys make some really good points. Bringing jobs back to our country is better than sending them overseas. Can you say tariff? Yeah. Okay. Yes. Yes, absolutely. They're bringing jobs back here. They're reshoring our pharmaceutical industry. Continue getting your thoughts in here. We'll continue talking about it. But I'll tell you, we got to be excited about this. This is good stuff. You want more of this. And every one of these increases the chances of getting the next one. It's important. And if you want to see how people are actually thinking about this, go read some of the statewide stories about this. And what you're going to see is a bunch of people griping and bitching from other parts of the state that it seems like North Alabama, the rich get richer. Which by the way is a completely fair thing for them to be complaining about. It's a completely fair thing for them to be complaining. I'm way late here. Let's say a quick time out. You've got to think of all the umbrella that happens when this happens. You've got supply chain. You've got storage. You've got inventory controls. You got... employee agencies, employment agencies. You've got transportation, trucking. All of this comes into that that is going to add employees, you know. When they're going to have this money production coming out of there, they're going to have to have products to get there. These companies are going to move here too to be closer to this person that they're supplying or have outlets that they can get too closer. Instead of bringing it all across the country, they're going to want to put other things around the area so that it's convenient and close to stop this facility up. Yeah, I think that's right. It's too much winning. It's too much winning, Mr. President. We can't take any more winning. Stop. Stop. We're winning too much. Yeah, there's a lot of people suggesting that exact same thing. Yeah, that's right. That's exactly right. I'm just shocked that people are just like, man, who cares? I mean, the media coverage on this, and I'm not blaming them. He's right. Or this text is right. They didn't say gender or anything. Oh, my God, I'm turning to one of those people. They are right. But not everyone's being positive about it. Some are indifferent. Some are outright negative. This is kind of an angry text that came in, but. I still want to think about it because I want to understand your perspective. Six billion dollars. Just by the way. Putting the periods in there makes our little British robot friend read it very strangely. Continued. Thrown away on yet another overhyped economic miracle while they boast that it's the largest capital investment in Alabama's history. I mean, is it?

It is, right? Is there another one that's a bigger capital investment? And again, that's another reason. I'm shocked that they're so... So eh about the whole thing. As if that's supposed to make us grateful. Real jobs? Please. This Mazda Toyota plant is just more of the same assembler line work we already have plenty of. Okay, but I think what they're trying to say is this is just like the Mazda Toyota plant. But it's not. That's an assembly line. This is not, this is a lot of research and development and stuff like that too. I mean, I don't think there's a lot of assembly line stuff going into pills and injectable medicine. So there we go. And then there's space command strutting in like it's the answer to everything, a swarm of deskbound officers, number crunching accountants and engineers. Huntsville is already overflowing with those types. We absolutely do not need another wave of them clogging up the place, acting like they're conquering the stars while the rest of us do the actual work. Screw your robot. This guy is unhappy about almost everything. Let me just say this. This is what this person sounds like to me. Someone who is born here and doesn't like that people like me have moved here. I consider myself to be an Alabamian now. I've bred with an Alabamian. I've built an Alabamian. Okay? I consider myself part of Alabama. And I'm sorry, but people have come from the area forever. And it is to the benefit of the people that were born here as well. This is the wrong perspective for people to have it. I think you're a minority. This is the Dale Jackson Show. Dale Jackson here with you. Thank you very much for joining us. Coming up here next on the Alabama A&M $350 million bulldog hotline, good friend of the program. Former Congressman Mo Brooks joins us. Let's bring Congressman Brooks on the program here to talk about a couple of things. Congressman Brooks, you represented North Alabama in Congress for over a decade. And I want to ask you a question. You've lived here a very large portion of your life. Help me out here. Is this deal with Eli Lilly, which is allegedly the largest capital investment in Alabama history? Is this bigger than the Space Command in impact? Or is the Space Command H.Q move a bigger move? Which is bigger for the community? Well, I'm not going to step into that trap. I'm going to say they're both good if you won't economic growth. The biggest concern I have is that our city and county and other leaders have not been improving the roads fast enough to absorb the population growth that we're either blessed or burden with, depending on your point of view. Well, I think we're blessed with it, and I do agree with you on the roads. This has been an issue since the day I stepped foot in North Alabama. I've done my part to explode our... population as well i've created life i've brought in a good seven people i believe i could probably i mean i've been i've been a population multiplier myself in the in this regard and we've seen a lot of investment i just think and i just want to get your perspective on this yesterday i was saying you know it's almost like a muted response To this, like it's not really that big of a deal. I remember the Polaris deal, even the Remington deal, which did not go too well, but the Polaris deal, the Mazda Toyota stuff, lots of fanfare and things like this. With this, is this just old hat at this point? That it's just like, okay, whatever, we'll take these jobs. Thank you very much. No, I don't think it's old hat. I think it's overall a net positive. The only negative that I see from it. is that it's going to make it even more difficult for people to get around in the Tennessee Valley during rush hour. My neighborhood street is turning into a raceway because the city allows people to cut through our neighborhood to go from one four-lane road to another four-lane road. That's bad planning. Well, I agree. There hasn't been long-term planning. My question. My question was this. I'm sorry if I didn't explain it. My question is, do you think the response to this has been relatively muted because we just are used to getting it? I mean, like I said, normally you would have like a lot of fanfare and things like we didn't really get that with that. Are you surprised by that? No, I'm not surprised, and I think one of the problems is we don't really know if it's going to be producing high-paying jobs. And so how high-paying? By way of example, you brought out the Space Command. Those are going to be good, high-paying, high-tech jobs, high-education jobs associated with the Space Command, locating in the Tennessee Valley.

Eli Lilly, are they going to be paying people 100,000 a year, 150,000 a year, or 75,000 a year, or 50,000 a year? You also have to look at not just the number of jobs, but the quality of the jobs. I think Eli Lilly is probably going to be above average. But I don't know that, and I haven't seen anything in any of the media reports that explains what the average salary or income is going to be for the people who work there. And that's really important. It's one thing to get jobs. It's another thing to get jobs that pay enough for people to be able to have a better standard of living. Okay. That's good information. I appreciate that. In some of the reading... I've been doing on this and where people have been complaining, Congressman, they've been saying that Space Command is not a done deal. Is that a done deal, in your opinion? No. It's not done deal until the doors are opened up. Even with Secretary Pete Hegseth, coming and unveiling it all, I guess, tomorrow? Well, the president announced it. President Trump announced it way back in January of 2021. Okay. That's coming from the White House. Fair enough. The people who don't want it in the Tennessee Valley because they want it for themselves, they're not quitting. You know, you've got pending litigation in Colorado. You've got another election coming up. and not until the facility is actually built and complete and is operational, and you have the highest degree of confidence that, yes, it's going to be here and it's going to stay here. There's still a lot of competition out there that we have to thwart. Okay, fair enough. Fair enough. It looks pretty good, but I'm not debating with you whether or not it's over or not, but it's good news. A heck Seth is coming tomorrow. And it looks like they're doing the official unveiling. Recently there was an event where the head of space command talked about the transition. There are boots on the ground and things like that. Speaking of your time in Congress, what do you make of the air strikes? Mike Rogers, House Chairman of the Armed Services Committee, came out, I believe it was yesterday. Yeah, it's actually, I say that. It's in the seven things here in just a little bit, Congressman. But he said, okay, I'm cool with this strike. It's a legal strike. He was kind of iffy on it, pushing for a bipartisan investigation, all that stuff. Now he's come out and said, okay, look, I've seen it and I feel better about it. You know Mike Rogers. You understand this issue. You understand how Congress does oversight and things like this. Do you feel better about the strike having seen Mike Rogers' position on this? I have felt good about killing people who are trying to kill us from the get-go. So Mike Rogers' comments, certainly, that helps to create a better image for what the United States has been doing. But these people are contributing to the deaths of over 100,000 Americans every single year. So I just want to kill them back. You know, kill them before they kill us. It's pretty simple to me.

Do you make anything of the seizing of the oil tanker in Venezuela? This is, you know, is this regime change in your opinion? Is this drug cartel battling? Is this just part of that? Or is this a sign that America's coming? Well, I don't know what to make of it. Quite frankly, there's so many possibilities moving forward. I would really like to hear the President of the United States make a much better case than he's made so far for what is, in effect, an act of war. I don't know that America is ready to engage in a war that risk American lives not only in Venezuela, but also in America. I don't know how far Venezuela's military efforts can reach. particularly since they might not be hamstrung by requiring that their military efforts be by people in uniform. They could be people who are already in America that could do damage to America, if so ordered by their leader. So we'll see how it plays out, but President Trump really needs to do a much, much better job on this particular aspect of what's going on with Venezuela. I think President Trump is winning the messaging war. on killing people, narco-terrorists, using his words, who are trying to kill us and, in fact, are killing us. That message, I think, resonates with the American people. But taking an oil tanker through the use of military force, that is a bigger step. And that does not appear on its face to be related to the killing of narco terrorists who are trying to kill us. So I'm anxious to hear the president's justification. Let's talk about the president here for a second. I said this yesterday. If this kind of talk about affordability continues, not only from the mainstream media, but from the president himself. The Republicans are in big trouble. They can redistrict all they want. They're going to lose a ton of seats. And they've sort of bought in, and I know we've talked before about that, I think we both think that that might be a possibility anyway. But the fact of the matter is, This affordability issue, a term basically made up out of thin air from the media, it's not something I've ever heard them talking about. The way they're talking about it before is like a buzzword. They've done a pretty good job in ingraining that. And Donald Trump's use of the word hoax to mean the media coverage is fake as opposed to hoax, as in nobody cares about this. Those are two totally different things. How do they handle this affordability issue in the political parlance here? How do they handle this? How should the president of the United States be talking about this? The only way to handle it is to implement better economic policies. I personally believe that affordability is a better term than inflation. Inflation says, well, prices of goods have gone up, okay? Affordability brings into account another aspect.

have incomes for American citizens gone up. And if incomes for American citizens have gone up faster than the rate of inflation, and that's what affordability is all about, well, people can afford the higher prices because they're earning a lot more. Okay. And our wages, particularly for our blue collar and lower white collar income workers, has not been keeping pace with inflation for decades now. The best that we can claim is that it's kind of been a wash, but they're also good arguments and there's good data supporting those arguments. that our lower income and middle income population segments have been losing ground on whether they can afford the things that they used to be able to afford. And so I think it's a really big issue. And the way you address it is you implement better economic policies that have been emanating from Washington, D.C. Not just for this president, but for a long-taring of presidents. Last thing here I want to talk to you about, and I think this is kind of worth noting here and worth talking about because I have a feeling we're going to be hearing about this. He already talked a little bit about tariff rebates and things like this. I think at some point in time, we're going to start hearing about checks for Americans, rebates, whether they're affordability. Affordable Care Act rebates in the form of checks. That's what two members of the Senate are thinking about. Are we going to get a check from the federal government before the 2026 election to try to make us feel better about the economy? Is that how we're going to handle this? Well, there's a good chance of that because that's the way politicians, not economists, deal with things. Correct. Economists know better because when the government issues you a check in a budget deficit situation, what they're really doing is they're increasing the debt burden on you above and beyond the size of the check. It's just that the payback is sometime in the future and the public. doesn't connect the dots well enough to figure it out they just got screwed so you know the federal government has to get spending under control i was astonished when i when the data came out that in the last fiscal year despite the department of government efficiency efforts uh whatever they might have been spending was up at the federal government level by over three hundred billion dollars That is a huge failure of any Department of Government efficiency that's trying to control America's spending habits. So we'll see how it plays out. But, yeah, buying votes by giving people money, the Democrats are infamous for it. And it wouldn't surprise me if...

The Republicans tore out that page from the Democrat playbook and did the same thing. It's not good economics, but it helps with votes. And with what happened in Miami, where Republicans lost that mayor's race for the first time in about three decades, and they got trounced with a 19-point deficit at the polls, that's another bad sign of what's to come. Talking about an earlier texter hating growth. I don't know. I think it's a little oversimplification of the whole thing. But I will say this. There are a lot of people who just do not want more people in North Alabama. Guys, I want you to go back and just put yourself in my perspective. Put yourself in my perspective. I moved here 18 years ago, almost 20 years ago. Think about how different this community looks to where to where when I got here. Now think about it if you've been here 40 years and grew up here. I mean, just I get it. I get where a lot of you guys are at. I get it. I just don't think you stop the freight train. I don't think you want to stop the freight train. I just don't think you want to do that. All right, let's switch gears here for a second. I've been following this story from afar because I hate Candace Owens. I've always hated Candace Owens. I know a lot of you will tell me Candace Owens could have potentially been vice president and all this other nonsense. I get it. I understand why she was appealing. Well, that's not true. I understand why a lot of people found her appealing. There you go. That's probably a better way to put it. But she's a vile person. Always has been. She's a con man, a con artist. Okay? She is a con artist. And it really pisses me off to see her doing to Erika Kirk and Charlie Kirk what she's doing. And... I don't understand how people can still support her after hearing all the stuff that she's been saying about Erika Kirk. And I find it to be just absolutely unforgivable the way she's been acting. in this situation. I think it is vile and evil. And I mean that. I think Candace Owens is evil. I do. I think she is an evil person. I also don't believe she believes a single thing she's saying. I believe she is a con artist. Go back and look at her record.

Her record is basically I will hold any position I need to hold in order to be relevant. She's been far left. She's been far right. And now she's a conspiracy theorist. But Erika Kirk was on TV yesterday. And I think Erika Kirk did a good job of laying this out. And I kind of feel the same way Erika Kirk does, honestly. You know, the conspiracies that are out there, all of the like. Do you think that there is more of it now because you do shine your light? I mean, did people just expect you would just go away? I don't know what they expected. I don't know what they expected. They pick on you because of your accessories. I mean, I've seen some of it. Oh, yeah. No, at this point, it's what, the conspiracy collection. Get it before Christmas. Like, seriously. If you want to find and pick me apart, go right ahead. I do not care. I don't. This was happening before Charlie was murdered. Both of us have been through the ringer of people will call you, whatever they want to call you. They will. But I have seen it firsthand impact the people that I love, and I'm done. I'm done. And if people think that I was just going to wilt away, I'm not going to sit in a corner and cry and be in fetal position. This is a duty to my husband, and it's an absolute honor, and I will never back down. I think that's great. And that's a direct shot at Candace Owens and the like, as it should be. Number seven. The August Borden case has been wrapped up. According to the Tuscumbia City Board, school board, they have closed the investigation. This is after the criminal investigation was closed by Madison County District Attorney's office after they were brought in to look at it. The superintendent says the district's findings were similar to those of the Madison County DA's office. This, of course, has not made anybody happy, but they hired attorneys to look into the case and how it was handled. The conclusions that there was no ill will found between the students involved that the school followed all the procedures. Now, the response to this online has been predictable, and that this is a lie, that this is scam, that this is that, and this is that. And at this point, yeah, there's going to be a civil case. But until August Borden's family comes out and says that something else has happened, it lays out the detail, at this point, we're just caught in a speculation loop. Number six. A group at the University of Alabama has decided to respond to the quote unquote censorship happening at the University of Alabama by raising money in order to keep the magazines that focus on African American student life and female student life going. Cool. I mean, what do you want me to tell you? That's great. You can do that. Private money coming in to run these magazines? Great. Do that. I think that's a great idea. You realize the issue all along was that the government and taxpayers were paying for different affinity groups to be able to have little pet projects. Well, they would be absolutely out of their mind if there was a white man's magazine. And I've reached out to multiple liberals to try to get them on to discuss this. They can't. They won't. They don't know how. Number five. Over 100 Alabama cities. 100 plus Alabama cities and counties are backing the state of Alabama in a growing legal dispute over the simplified seller's use tax. An issue that I think is a very big issue, but I don't think many people agree with me. It's a complicated issue, ironically. So, see now it's called the simplified sellers use tax. But the way, it's basically an internet tax that's set down to the legislature where they divvy it up. And everyone else says, thank you. The city wants more of that money. The big cartel of mayors have decided we're the big cities we should get what we want. That's fine. But there are 67 counties in a bunch of little cities that want no part of this changing because they're benefiting from it. Revenue distribution decided by the legislature the way it should be, not the courts, the way the big cities wanted to be. Number four. Turning point USA CEO Erika Kirk has had enough.

And she is now rebutting evil online conspiracies surrounding her husband Charlie's murder during an outnumbered appearance on Fox News, emphasizing grief and community support over baseless theories being pushed by imbeciles like the internet's Candace Owens and other dumbasses. Candace Owens is the leader of this little movement of stupidity, and anyone following her, listening to her, promoting her, or any of those things should kind of be embarrassed at this point. She has sold you a bill of goods. She continues telling you she has information. She has yet to produce that information. She claims the French are trying to kill her. The Egyptians killed Charlie Kirk. The military killed Charlie Kirk. It's just... Ridiculous. What an imbecile. Stop listening to her. Number three. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth will visit Huntsville's Redstone Arsenal tomorrow for the U.S. Base Command headquarters sign unveiling alongside Air Force Secretary Tony Mink, advancing the relocation of over 1,300 personnel despite. Colorado's lawsuit with full operations projected in about three years. This fight continues to go on. There is a lawsuit, but I think most people are ignoring it. It is pretty much a done deal. But this unveiling will take place on Redstone Arsenal and we'll have a bunch of individuals, important muckety mucks in the area to talk about this and be a part of this and all this other stuff. I've reached out and made a request to get Pete Hegseth on. I don't think that's going to happen. But okay, the door, the door is open. If Pete Hegseth wants to come on this program, I'll be more than happy to open the door up. Number two. A U.S. Representative Mike Rogers, the chairman of the Armed Services Committee, concluded that the second deadly boat strike was, in fact, legal. And all the crying is nonsense. He didn't say those exact words. I'm paraphrasing here, but he's reviewed the classified videos and the briefings. He's still advocating committee oversight amid debates on international water rules and the media's ongoing defense of the world's worst people over American citizens and the U.S. military. Okay, so this is just an embarrassment for this. And look. You want to continue making the argument that Donald Trump's killing bad guys too toughly? Go right ahead. Go right ahead. You want to make that argument? Go right ahead and do it. Donald Trump's greatest asset is the quality of his foes. Now, time for the number one thing you'll be talking about today. On that broadcast, he said, President Trump has energy dominance coming back. It will tend to pay more dividends as we go. It doesn't happen overnight, folks. Parentheses, Dale Jackson. Affordability is coming. Just give it time. We had no chance under Biden. We've got all the chance in the world under Trump. He knows exactly what he's been doing for nine to ten months. He's got a great group behind the season and are working on all of this with tariffs, getting prices down. The Biden administration almost destroyed our economy. No, no, she would never do that. I went and looked and there was. There was stuff. I mean, so even your most basic white woman liberal has that kind of stuff up. But they have completely kind of backed down a little bit because time and they've moved on to other things. But there's some on the right like Candace Owens who just completely are going insane on this Charlie Kirk thing. What is their story? What is their deal? Why are they doing this? Is it just a grift? Wasn't Candice Owen, she, they were friends, right? Yeah, they were best friends apparently. They were besties or whatever. Yeah. Well, I mean, honestly, I hate to think it, but cash grab, notoriety grab, like you said, grifting or whatever, this is a big story that she's attached to and she doesn't always have the best. luck with anything positive. God, it's upsetting. I just remember people tell me, oh, Candace Owens, she could be a vice president. I was like, you guys are morons. Even back then, I was like, this is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Her background is just absolutely horrendous. And for some reason, people just continue to pretend that she's like a good person. I just do not even understand it. She offered up all sorts of different things in the past. She worked for liberal groups who were criticizing the Tea Party and stuff like that. Then she kind of switched that around and became a completely different person. Too polarizing. Yeah, she just jumped from place to place to place. And I remember, I'll be honest with you. I remember Yellowhammer News. I think this was before I started working there. And even if you do bad, let's say you go 0 and 13 next year and they fire you, you're walking away with millions of dollars on top of the millions of dollars you're making every year. And what? You throw it away for what? Some, I don't know who she was, but some employee there at your office? And on top of that, it's been you assault someone later on. You threaten to kill yourself allegedly. And all of it, and this is what has been told to me, all of it was tipped off. Have you heard this part of the story? We talk about the door dash loophole. Here's a door dash loophole for you. All of it. was tipped off by a door dash delivery driver who was delivering something allegedly to his office. Do you know what it was? Emily? You'll take a shot in the dark as to what it was? Allegedly, what was delivered to the office was the morning after pill. Whoa! Yep. That is where the story sits as of right now. I don't know if it's true or not. I don't know, but that is the scuttle butt and the rumblings as of right now is that. Sounds like a Dallas plot with J.R. Yes. The rumblings are louder than the rumblings inside Emily's tummy after she has a glass of milk. Okay. So there we go. But yeah, I mean, just talk about pissing your entire life away. What are we doing? What are we doing? What are you doing? Why are you doing this? Why would you do this? I just... I cannot imagine being so stupid. I mean, I'm sorry. This is just completely insane that you would throw your entire life away by being such a terrible, awful, no good person. It is so, so ridiculous to see that. Somebody would say, Emily, what in the world? And by the way, what are you doork? To your home, to your office, something like the morning after bill. Who's the real villain here? The head coach of Michigan or the formal head coach at Michigan, the door dash driver, the girl. Or the wife. Who's the real villain in all of this? Whoever did the door dash for the morning after pill? Whoever instigated that. Go pick it up yourself. The coach. And now he's assaulted somebody allegedly. This guy is just completely threw his life away.

Can you imagine? I just, again, I almost threw my career away on some stupid nonsense. But not anything like that. At least it was work related. But this guy, holy cow, just. I don't get it. I don't get. I'm a guy. I understand it. I mean, I get the idea that, you know, people in power are giving attention from girls that normally wouldn't give attention. But this is apparently a younger person, obviously, because it's in a college. We've seen this enough. And then all the terrible stuff that's going on on top of that. Holy cow. Just so bad. So bad. And I just, I look at it. And I kind of just laugh at this because. It doesn't have to be this way. Just be slightly smarter. That's all you got to do. The preparation for that show, and I don't be like researches, I did zero research for the show, but the preparation for that show included going to a location. getting a whole bunch of makeup put on your face sitting there for 20 minutes and waiting for the the hit getting the hit doing all the stuff imagine doing all of that and then getting on and lying when everyone knows you're lying everyone knows you're lying about it every single person knows you're lying about everything you're saying and people do it and they get on there and be like i just don't know it might be a fishing boat Now, obviously, I'm joking about the oil tanker we've stolen or seized, whichever way you want to call it that. I'm joking about that. But there are people who will go on CNN to be like, there's no evidence that it's not a fishing boat. There's no evidence. Except for, you know, the drugs that they're throwing off to the side of the road. Okay? You know, there's that part. But here we are really doing this. And people are asking the question, are these fishing boats? No. And we have pictures of them. And it's not just the infrared pictures that we see. It's not that. We know what a fishing boat looks like. Okay? We are aware. It would have fishing poles. It might have nets. And in that part of the world, I'm going to say something uncouth here, so just prepare yourself. Oh, boy. In that part of the world, your fishermen probably look like, I don't know, really skinny guys with no shoes on, maybe a frayed, dirty white t-shirt and some shorts. You know, that's kind of what they look like. And, you know, maybe they have less technology and, um, um, um,

storage facility than your average weekend fishermen. You know, that's what you're normally getting out of actual fishing boats in that region. These are not guys out there doing their family fishing. And it's so funny because the media will tell these stories about a Venezuelan fisherman's family wanting answers about their husband being killed by the United States. And they want those answers and they're like, oh, we can't believe what happened here. Okay, well, here, let me tell you what happened. Your husband was a drug dealer. That's it. That's the solution. That's where it is? Yeah, that's it. Family of Man Sloan was slain in U.S. Boatstrike in Caribbean, lodges complaint. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. They found a complaint with an intergovernmental agency charged with monitoring human rights. No, not the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights. No! No! It accuses the United States of violating his rights to life and due process when it bombed him as part of an anti-drug campaign. Now, here's my question. Did America even sign on to this thing? What's up in my debate with Jeremy DeVito? Any updates on us? Good morning, Dale. And no, unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to talk to Jeremy DeVito. You know, we hold our Limestone County Democratic meetings on a monthly basis. So we had it this past Saturday. We had Andrew Sneed, one of the people. running for a Democratic spot for the Fifth Congressional District come out and speak. But I believe Jeremy, normally I talk to him then, but Jeremy, I believe, had a speaking engagement with the Massachusetts County Democratic Women's Association. So I haven't had a chance to talk to him this week. Let me ask something about that race. There's a couple individuals in this race right now. The two getting the most attention are Sneed.

And DeVito, in my opinion. You may disagree with this. Sneed seems to be sort of taking the more. And I'll look at it like almost the Jasmine Crockett-Tillerico race in Texas. And for some people, they'll be like, huh? Well, anyway, Jasmine Crockett's like the left-leaning, far-left-leaning individuals saying, look, I'm going to, we're going to fight Donald Trump. We're going to fight all the time. And we're going hard. And that's what we're going to do. Her opponent, in contrast, is trying to do the whole, like, we're going to bring everyone together more of an establishment. Based on what I've seen from Sneed and Davido. Both Democrats running for Congress. Sneed strikes me as more of the establishment guy. DeVito strikes me more of the base guy. Is that a fair take on that? No, actually, Dale, it really is. Like you said, we had Mr. Sneed come to our meeting and, you know, he gave a great speech and, you know, all our candidates have. But, you know, when you listen to people speak, you know, certain things stick out. And, you know, at this point, they're trying to. contrast to differences. They all get along. They've all meet with each other. They interact. But at this point, I realize they're starting to make distinctions between themselves. And the one thing he said, he said the path of victory is straight down the middle. What does that mean? Oh, yes. Yeah, pretty much. You can't be too far to the left. They're trying to run for a seat in Alabama. I guess what you would consider a moderate Democrat. Yeah, I think that's how he's trying to kind of brand himself. And it's interesting to see these kinds of things taking place. Do you buy the idea that Republicans were like... And they were doing this. I'm not saying it's not true. I just wonder how effective you think it was. Republicans with Yasme and Jasmine Crockett were like, hey, look, let's try to push her into the race. We want her in the race. They were doing robo calls and stuff to high propensity Democrat voters saying, hey, contact her. And they were putting polls into the field that they thought would help her. They want. They want her. And I always hear stuff like that. And it takes me back to 2016 when Democrats were like, we'll take Donald Trump. He's much better than these other guys. And they kind of helped promote him. The media loved him early on in the 2015 race. They kept promoting him, kept promoting him, tussled his hair on TV shows. And then they got Donald Trump. And they're like, wait a second. Oh, my God. Wait, this guy could wait. Oh, my God. He won. What did we do? Could you be looking at that situation in Texas? I don't think you could. But. What do you think about that? Well, first, when I heard a couple of days ago that Jasmine Crockett is entering the race, and I think, Dale, I've kind of grown, I could definitely say I've grown being the chair because you almost have to sit back.

And you can't let your motions rule you. You've got to have a little rationale. So I saw it as two things. Will she energize the base? Yes. But also, will it make Republicans or people who don't like her anything about her? come out to vote more, yes. So it's almost a mixed bag. She's going to energize the base, but she's going to get Republicans who probably like, well, we're going to win this to come out to make sure she don't win. Yeah, I think that's true. I think that's absolutely true. I think that that's what's going to happen. And she is going to be the Roy Moore of this election cycle. And what I mean by that is Roy Moore existed. And therefore, every Republican that even existed anywhere around that time got a Manu Raju microphone in their face going, so what about Roy Moore? What do you think about Roy Moore? Did you see Roy Moore? What did you think about Roy Moore? Hey, do you see Roy Moore exist? And they're going to do that with her. And she seems to revel in that much more than Roy Moore did. Roy Moore kind of kept his head down and tried, but Roy Moore is Roy Moore. And then they did the whole Roy Moore was raping people at the mall or whatever BS they were pushing at that time. And they they push that over and over and over again. But with her, she seems to revel in the media attention. Are Democrats nationally worried about that? Well, you know. Well, she came out with a very interesting, I don't know what you call it, inaugural campaign video. It's called being a bad. It was a stupid. It was not interesting. It was stupid. I watched it a couple times. I'm like, okay, I see where you're trying to go with this. You know, if you're a, you know, when you was a house member, the president of the United States knowing you by name. You know, and you kind of using it to your advantage where Jasmine Crockett is low IQ and she just smiling. There's a strategy to it because Dale, you know, just my view, you know, President Trump, in my opinion, a lot of times he has an issue of attacking black women. He has an issue of attacking everyone. Yes, yes, that's true. But particularly black women. And it's just like the two ladies in Georgia, the two poll workers. These are two unknowns. If for the President United States to call out your name by you simply work in the polls, that always was a negative taste in black people's mouths. You know, so the president attacking, okay, James McCrocket, is she vocal? Yes, President Trump is vocal. Why is it good for one, but not good for the other? So she set her tone, just like you say Jeremy DeVito, she sent her tone as somebody who's a fighter. And guess what? As Democrats, we have to learn from our losses.

That's why people vote for President Trump because he was an outsider and he was a fighter. Yep. He was a bully. Donald Trump got elected because he was the Republican bully. And people are like, oh, Donald Trump's this. I'm like, look, Donald Trump is the response. Not the problem. And that's how Republicans saw him. I use this analogy all the time. It's like hiring a bully to beat up another bully. That's how people saw Donald Trump. And I think you're right. I think Jasmine Crockett kind of falls into that same scenario. I just don't think that she, I don't think that the way running in a House district. Especially one that, excuse me, running in a red state like she's going to be doing, it's going to make it almost impossible. It's different than running in a house district or a purple state or something like this. Now, she does have to, yes, and I agree with you, Dale. Her district is like 700,000 people. And now you're running for the Senate, which is the whole state. And the district was drawn for her appeal. She has to tone it down to let people get to know. who she is, not the angry Jasmine Crockett, but the one that could represent all Texans. And her district was drawn for her. I mean, let's just be real about it. It was drawn specifically for her and a person like her, an African-American, an African-American Democrat. I mean, that's what that district was drawn for. So a little bit different there. Let's come back to the Alabama here for just a second. You know, you're watching Doug Jay Jones has an announcement. Jason Isbell is going to be there. DJ Slim, I don't know who that is, but either way, he's having his launch. He's not doing very good on raising money. He's going to have to raise a bunch of money. Keep in mind, in the last election, Doug Jay Jones outraised. Tommy Tuberville and in PACs and in regular campaign money. And now he's getting absolutely obliterated by the governor-elect. Is there any chance here with this going? I mean, he's going to need an outlandish amount of money in order to even be competitive. And I wonder, do you think national Democrats are going to be willing to bet on this or are they just going to write off the state and say Tommy Tuberville's a governor-elect? Dale Jackson said so. You know what, Dale, like I said, just my time being the chair, you know, you, I have a better understanding of, you know, local and particularly state politics. Ken Martin, who's the National Democratic Chairperson, he came to Alabama when he first got, I don't know, we call it elected, and he made a promise because other years, as far as the National Democratic Party, they pretty much ignored Alabama.

You guys are solid red state. This rating on point putting money into y'all's campaigns because y'all have a very low chance of winning. Stepping back, I get that strategy. You're not going to put your money into states that you have a low chance of winning where you can take that money and put it in swing states. I got that. But. In my meeting, a lady, a lady came up to me, and she's a white lady, and I say white lady for a reason. She came up to me and she said, Chris, you know, I like Dr. Will Boyd. He's a great person. He's been on a campaign for several months. He's been going around, making around, meeting a greet with people, shaking hands, kissing babies. And I've seen it. He's a great personality. But. Doug Jay Jones got the name recognition. And she said, unfortunately, Chris, and I hate to say this. Are you about to tell me about the racism of Alabama Democrats and why they won't vote for a black guy? Oh, no, no, no. Okay, all right. Go ahead. But, you know, but she was accepting the reality. But it takes money. Doug Jay Jones has that name recognition. And you said this, he has that name recognition. And I'm not just saying, Will Boyd, because there's others that's run for governor, but I'm saying out of all of them, Doug Jay Jones has that name recognition. So will they, will the Democratic National Democratic Party pump money into him? Yes, because now they see that, okay, he's the only guy that could have a chance. But unfortunately, if he wasn't in the race, then no, they wouldn't be pumped of money in Alabama. Man, so county Democrat chair saying that Will Boyd has no chance. That is an interesting statement there. I agree with you. But here's the thing. I've learned that from... Here comes the backtrack. Go ahead. No, but everybody, like I said, Zohran Mamdani. He was a state assemblyman. Nobody knew who he was. I didn't know who he was. But the one thing he did, he got out and met with the people. He would walk down the sidewalks and meet with the people. And everybody was surprised that he won. So it is possible. Just like as a little local Democratic chair, Dale, and it hasn't made the big news. Just like this $6 billion facility, which I think is great, but it has been on the news, so I agree with you. A Democrat won the mayor's seat in Miami, and it's been held for a Republican for 30 years. Also, a Democrat won a special election in Tennessee. So now I tell people that's running, and we're getting a record number of people running. Look, it is possible. It's not always about the money. You got to get out there and let people know who you are and affordability, affordability, affordability. Big part of the conversation. So now I say it is possible for someone like Dr. Will Boyd, Chick Martin, or somebody else to win.

Chick Martin cracks me up. He had a picture of his daughter up working out on his website. It was so weird. It was so weird. So weird. All right. Thank you very much.
