Thank you for joining us. We have witnessed another weekend of emergency protest, everyone. It's an emergency protest. We have to do it. I don't know how. How else we can change the country unless we get out of the road and stand in front of vehicles and yell and suggest that everyone who disagrees with us is a fascist? Can we talk about how their strategy now is to stand in front of cars? Like their entire argument is completely ridiculous. They're standing in front of cars. Because they're saying that the cop shouldn't have stood in front of the car, even though he has the legal authority to do so in Minnesota. So they're standing in front of cars and blocking them and blocking ICE agents. It is just insane. This still goes on and on and on and on and on and on. There are some deranged nonsense happening here, and I feel bad for them. I do. I do. Because the position they have taken is just kind of silly. It really is. And I'm sure that there is a ton of polling being done right now that's going to show that ICE is going too far, guys. Ice is going really too far. We need to understand that. There were some reports that ICE was in Madison. This week, now I'm just going to tell you, we are surrounded by people who are not that smart. So let me just tell you what was probably in ICE, or excuse me, in Madison this weekend, okay? It was probably individuals that work with DHS that work at the airport. That would probably be what you actually had. That would most likely to be what you saw there. But don't let any of this get in your way of doing these things, okay? Just continue freaking out and talking about how icy it is in Madison. Here's the post on Reddit. Ice, United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement was spotted at public shopping center on County Line Road. They were driving a Black Ford Explorer turning down to Browns Ferry Road. They were also seen in ARAB in Marshall County last night. Please keep your friends and family safe. You mean my illegal immigrant friends and family? I'm sorry, I don't have any of those. I don't have any of those. What are I supposed to keep them safe from?
And then you read some of the responses. Oh, you mean the Gestapo has been spotted in Madison? Okay, yeah, keep this stuff up. Keep it up. Keep it up, guys. I'm all for this. I think you should absolutely continue doing these things and continue trying to suggest that fighting these guys is a good idea and that it is appropriate. for Americans to stand in between law enforcement and their targets. Now, you keep hearing things from our friends in the media that are blatantly untrue. Now, they don't care. I'm not suggesting we are past the point of suggesting that they're going to care about this. They're just doing the whole, this is outrageous. Do you see the outrage? Look at the outrage. Look at the outrage here. Can you believe this outrageous is? Look how outrageous is. This is outrageous. Look at the outrage. Why aren't you outrageous? Are you outraged yet? Okay, look at the outrage here. Can you believe it? Look at the outrage. Oh, my God. Can you believe it outrageous? Okay. And they're going to continue attempting to suggest that this woman had a right. What did the mayor of Minnesota refer to it as? This weekend he referred to it as a three, four or five point turn, you see. He was just making a three, five, three, four, five point turn. Oh, this just came in. Someone sent me this. I like it. I like this. This is, this is a hilarious video. Like I said, And linked on this video, it says this, 61% of liberal white women between the ages of 18 and 44, with BMI is probably a 44 to 64, agree that it is acceptable to go beyond peaceful protest and break the law in response to ICE enforcement. Okay. If this is the path you want to go down, I'm telling you. I am more than willing to meet you here. I think this is a great idea. Here's what the poll shows. 61% of liberal white women between the ages of 1844 believe it's acceptable and going to be on peaceful protest. How many percentage of people believe that you should be able to do this in other groups? 24. 24% of Americans agree. Think about this for a second. 61% of liberal white women. 18 to 44 agree that is acceptable to go beyond peaceful protest to break the law in response to ICE. Overall, 24% of Americans agree with that same idea. That goes to show you something. How skewed those numbers are. Because if 61% of liberal white women. 18 to 44. It's probably a pretty big chunk. And everyone else is 24%. Man, they are really throwing that number off. It's pretty wild. It is really wild. Go in there and get physically violent with the cops. What a smart thing to do. I mean, just again, I asked this question the other day. And nobody really.
Well, that's not true. A ton of plenty of people respond. That's not fair to say that. But nobody said, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I would fight them. I would fight them. I would fight them. Just imagine you're walking through a Walmart. You're walking through a Walmart. And as you walk through that Walmart, you see someone getting arrested for shoplifting. And your response is to step in between law enforcement and that person who needs to be arrested. What would happen to you? Will you be interfering with an arrest and you would get arrested yourself? There needs to be no different here. This needs to be no different. Okay, that's it. This, this needs to be no different. And I can't, I can't. For the life of me understand why these people think they're the majority. Now, I get that the TV tells them they're the majority. I understand. I get that that's a big part of it. The TV does tell them that they are the majority and everyone agrees with them and stuff like that. Yeah, I think I do understand it a little bit more than maybe I said. So let me just take that back. I understand why they feel that way because the media tells them that they're right. Media tells them that they are correct. Let's continue with the willful misinterpretations of things that have been said about this issue because, again, you cannot, for the life of you, debate this issue correctly because you're wrong. You can't come into win an argument on this because you are absolutely wrong. And let me tell you something that was said to me yesterday. And I'm going to bring this up a couple times. Somebody sent me yesterday a pitcher of something they, they defecated into the toilet. It said, this is for you for supporting the murder of, of hero Renee Good. I'm like, what is this? Like, that's a real thing that happened. It's a real thing that happened. And I'm just like, why is this happening? What does this person think they're accomplishing besides totally turning me against the issue that it's a bad idea to interfere with cops? Now I think it's a great idea to interfere with cops. They got me. Hey, here's another brilliant thought. Dale, there's no such thing as a great shoot in the context of an officer killing a citizen. Anybody who thinks there's anything great about somebody getting killed by a cop has serious issues. It's either a bad shoot or a good shoot. My conservative, Republican, Trump and ICE supporting opinion is that it was an overreaction that did nothing to protect the officer anyway, and it looks like manslaughter at best. Man, lots of caveats being thrown out in there. I support Trump and ICE!
And I'm a Republican. That's a really bad shoot. They shouldn't have done if this woman was 100% right. Oh, yeah, I'm sure that's true. I'm sure that's true. Let me just say this. I don't believe you. That would be number one. Number two. Let me explain something to you. You're taking a comment that I made that was 100% accurate where I said this shoot was not only good. It was great. It was so good. It was great. It was the words I actually use. And pretending that I'm like reveling that this woman being shot. I don't want this one being shot. I want her arrested so people know not to do this. And I want anyone else who does this to be arrested. So these things do not happen. But that's considered monstrous as well, which is why you get these things. Which you allow you promote. And they've allowed people to fight with cops. So now people are doing it. It's the boy who cried wolf. When everything is outrage, we stop listening. It's true. It's absolutely true. That is 100% true, and I can't disagree with it one bit. That's exactly what's happening. Yeah. Your New Year's resolution. L.O.L. Good luck with that. I only revert to that mode when exposed to the conditions that create that mood. Yeah, that's not me. I'm, my New Year's resolution's going great. So thank you for noticing. Yes, my New Year's resolution would be a bigger prick than I've ever been. It's going pretty well. You can get your thoughts in right here right now. The Scout Pest Control.com WVNN hot tank text line 866-494 WVN. And you can keep it locked right there. And you can also jump in on the free speech phone lines. That's available as well. 866-494 WVNN. And you can email me. You've got mail. Downtown RescueMission.org email inbox, Dale at WVN.com. Listen, guys, it's very simple. Do these protests, most serious question, answer this question for me. Do these protests motivate Americans against ICE or against the protesters? Just give me your thoughts. I think the mood is against the protesters, but you tell me. You tell me what you think. 866-494WVN. We'll be right back. It's the Dale Jackson Show. I've been told that, yeah, I was...
right about quote quote ice being in Madison over the weekend and people just see federal government vehicles and think that it's up they're coming to get you and by the way even if they were who cares again Dale Jackson here WVNN if you told me ice was operating Madison you know what I would say cool that would be my response awesome I think that's a very good thing It's a very good thing that ICE would be here and ICE would be coming in and doing what they're supposed to be doing. You're going to have a hard time taking actual Americans and getting them mad about this kind of stuff. You can tell me that there are American citizens being arrested by ICE and I can tell you they're being arrested by ICE because they're jumping in front of ICE. and impeding them. You can tell me they can't arrest American citizens. They can. They have no right to stop American citizens. Yes, they can. You can make all these arguments you want none of them are true and it doesn't even matter. They just make these arguments and then declare them to be smart. And all you do is go through and look at the clips of the people who are supposed to be the well-read individuals on cable news having these conversations. And look how dumb they sound. Is this what people actually want to associate themselves with? An issue with guns. And police. And police, of course. But the gun thing, the fact that she was shot like this for what, almost hitting this agent? I mean, the fact that guns were used and she was shot and killed in this way, to me is the most horrifying part. Why does an ice agent have a gun? Why does an ice agent have a gun, guys? All she did was hit him with the car. Yeah, a great idea. Great idea. Take their guns away. Take the ICE agents guns away. That's the correct solution to all of this. Take their guns away. That's how you make all this better. That's how you make all this better. It is so wild. It is so wild for these people to want to fight this fight every single day, no matter whether they're right or wrong. I can't remember a time since they've been right. I still appreciate the idea that they're willing to jump out and make all these outlandish statements. And they don't even care if they're true or not. And it's not just random idiots. It's also members of Congress. They're doing the same thing. Listen to Ilhan Omar. He was blocking the road. They are claiming this is an act of terrorism. Yeah, Renee Nicole Good, as you hear her say, she's not mad. She's sitting in her car peacefully. We've all heard liberal white women. I'm not mad at you. I'm not mad at you, bro. I'm not mad at you. Yeah, we've heard that. You know why she's saying that? Because she's super mad. It's like when my wife says she's not mad. It's called lied.
Everyone knows exactly what she's doing there. Fine, I have to move. I have to move. Well, I'm not mad at you for that. I know you don't want to be doing this. God, these people are so dumb. Members of Congress and the media, listen to these idiots. It was blocking the road. They are claiming this is an act of terrorism. Yeah, Renee Nicole Good, as you hear her say, she's not mad. She's sitting in her car, peacefully waving cars to get by. This agent, as you see, gets out of his car. automatically starts running towards her, trying to open her door. She feels scared. She tries to turn the wheel away. And then you see the other officer who can clearly see the car is moving, move towards the front of the car, which... If they are saying that he has 10 years on service and is trained, he should know that you shouldn't be trying to get in front of a moving car. And so it is not acceptable for Kristi Noem and the president and the vice president to make these kind of judgments without there being a full investigation. Even though we can see in the videos that have been produced so far that what they are describing is really not what is taking place. And so if they're saying that we shouldn't believe our eyes, then let the investigation take place before. Yeah. And she's also, Ilhan Omar is, making the claim that she was just sitting in her car, peacefully waving cars to get by. Oh, she's a cop now. So she can just do whatever she wants. I mean, they're really going to die on this hill? And look, literally and figuratively, they're going to die on this hill. Okay. I'm okay with that. Dale Jackson. Form. News Talk 7.m. 97 a.m. 92 5 FM. W. VN. N. Dale Jackson here with you. Thank you very much for joining us. We have amazing things happening all over the country, and 90% of it's predicated by lies. I mean, that's the whole thing. All of this is predicated on lies, every aspect of this. Lies about where ice is, lies about what ice does. We got ice in Madison, Marshall, and apparently Livestone County over the last 24 hours. I don't know if any of that's true. I hope that it is. You have Ilhan Omar claiming that ICE is disappearing American citizens. It's just a made up term that they're using. And they're suggesting ICE is assaulting people and all these other things. They're lying about people being hit by ICE vehicles while they also defend somebody hitting an ICE agent with a vehicle. I mean, they're just, they're on a tear. They're absolutely on its hair. Brad resolves with us. He's an opposition research guy. He's done polling. He's worked for campaigns on the local and federal level. He's done messaging for Tommy Tuberville, the AEA, and Dale Strong. We'll bring him on the program, have a conversation with him. Brad, here's a question as you join us on the Alabama A&M $350 million Bulldog Hotline. When polling is done, it's done by Signal, which is a group started in Alabama by Brent Buchanan, a good polling group, says 61% of liberal women, liberal white women, excuse me, 18 to 44 support more action against Ice Age, as meaning physical action. 24% of normal Americans feel that way. Does that surprise you? Does those numbers surprise you? Does that shock you at all? Well, I guess I'm like you. Nothing surprises me anymore in America, Dale. It's really strange. We just saw a woman who didn't comply get shot. So, yeah, it's smart for Democrats to double down in their protest and go even further than Nicole Good did, I guess. So at the minimum, they can challenge law enforcement. And at the worst, they can get shot like she did. Why is it so hard for Democrats just to comply to law enforcement? Either you don't run. or stop what you're doing at the time when they're asking you to stop. Complying is not brain surgery. Normal people look at this Dale as well as people getting shot during routine traffic stops and those who protest and spit at cops and break things. And they wonder why those involved in all this won't just mind law enforcement. Quit being so stubborn and anti-authority because that's the core of all this, I believe. The left hates authority.
because they do not believe in right and wrong, and being told in this case not to impede ice, they go out of their way to do it. And then they're shocked when they get a bullet in the face. So it makes no sense. It's, you know, the whole, they can, you can defy authority, you can have all these things. But the minute you start getting physical with them, That is the situation you're going to lose every single time. And they don't seem to care about that. They seem to be completely fine putting their lives on the line in order to make some lame point. And I got to believe it's because they think that it can't happen to them. They think if there's a camera out, they can do whatever they want and no one's going to challenge them. And maybe there's some truth behind that. Maybe there's some truth to the idea that if a camera is out, you will, you have more protections and things like this. This is the idea behind the body cams, right? You want to have more body cams? So law enforcement is better behaved. That would be the idea. I think the opposite has happened. Those body cams and cameras have made it. I think law enforcement has benefited greatly. from that experience and having those cameras out and about. I think that this is another example here. Even though we didn't have body cams, you have the cameras of the officer. Hell, you have the cameras of everyone else who's out there filming as well, and you see what actually happens. And you have Renee good, not being all that good. And most people looking at that and going, this is a bad idea to behave this way with law enforcement. And instead of acknowledging that and saying, we're getting a bunch of people who have to basically mislead the American people because if they tell the American people what's actually going on, it seems like they believe that they'll lose that argument. I mean, that's got to be it. So let me ask this question. How much does that poll change if they take it today? What do you think based on what's going on? It's hard to say. I don't know that it will change at all because there's 50-50. That's the way the country is split. I believe on every issue in the world. It just seems like everything is split on 50-50. And it's based on voting patterns and their hate of Trump. But also we look at these 80-20 issues and people say, look, just... obey, just do the right thing and nothing bad will happen. But if you talk, you made a good point here about everybody having cameras. Let's compare the Rodney King riots to the Floyd riots to this. During King, people didn't have cell phones with cameras. They certainly didn't have smartphones where they could take a picture and download it on a YouTube or an Instagram or an X within minutes or live stream. And there were plenty of cameras that go around, but it was the media's camera. So we saw pretty widespread coverage of those riots in Los Angeles and around the country. Then when Floyd came, everybody and his brother had a camera and they pulled it out to film. And I think if...
If the Floyd riots would have happened in 1992, like the king, they wouldn't have really fed on themselves like they ended up doing. So that's what they're trying to do now. Anytime any of these ICE people go anywhere and do their job, do what the president is said to do, you're going to have somebody trying to film something to get them step across the line or, oh, that ICE agent pushed me. So lawsuit, they bring everything out. Everything is blown up. And then now with this unfortunate shooting that happened, how many different angles have we seen so far? And I'm sure as we go forward, there'll be more people come out with more cameras or more ring doorbell cams we're going to come out. So it's just... It seems like that we're succumbing to our own technology. And every time they show a camera angle, the cop is more justified. I just don't get how anyone can look at this and be like, well, he definitely should have allowed himself to be run over. He has to do that. He's the police officer. It's fine. And he got the mayor saying, oh, she was just doing a three-point turn. It's just absolutely ridiculous. I don't think anybody truly believes that kind of stuff. It's just ridiculous. All right. Let's move back to the great state of Alabama. I had Tommy Tuberville on recently. And, you know, I understand that Doug Jay Jones and the media love the lottery as an issue, mostly because they love to talk about gambling and they love to say, we'll get more money. Alabama will get more money. And I always say this, making the argument of the lottery or bring more money into the state doesn't really work for me. And I'll tell you why. I don't want them to have more money to do stuff I don't want them to do. That doesn't work for me. But Doug Jay Jones is going to the border, not to the border of Mexico, but he's going to the border of Georgia and buying lottery tickets and trying to make that an issue. The media is falling over what a brilliant move that is to make the lottery the issue. Is the lottery a main issue in the governor's election? Could it possibly be? I don't know if it's a main issue. Obviously, it's an issue that a lot of people believe that Alabama should go across that Rubicon and allow full-on 100% comprehensive gambling legislation to pass. I think it's interesting that the senator has basically said that people should have the opportunity to decide themselves what they want or don't want in Alabama. And then once the facts comes out of what gambling actually is, that that will be an opportunity for them to make that decision for themselves. I think that would be something new that's really never been done because we've had governors in the modern era. who either are for or against gambling, and I think Governor Kay Ivey may have said something lukewarm about gaming and letting the people decide a year or two ago kind of fell flat in the legislature. But I think it would be naive of people to not think that at some point Alabama will have full top-to-bottom gaming. That's where the country at large is headed, and Alabama is one of the few holdouts yet to do it. And the pressure is immense.
on the legislature from every angle possible to pass comprehensive gaming and be done with it i don't know if this is a good comparison but the gambling debate to me reminds me of the fights back in the 1980s about selling alcohol on sundays for years and years the church stopped that and every year their influence got a little less strong to the point after 25 years of fighting it now restaurants grocery stores liquor stores everybody They're either selling or serving alcohol on Sundays, and it is a normal occurrence to most people. So I think that's probably where we're headed, and sooner or later it's going to happen. Okay, there we go. Maybe we're heading in that direction after all. Brian Presnell, thank you very much. Always appreciate you coming on and talking with us. Is the lottery the next thing we're going to jump into? I don't know. I don't know. I just don't see it as that big of an issue or that good of an issue, especially with both candidates generally agree. But Brian Preston says it may be moving in that direction, and that's probably true as well. Keep it locked right here on WVNN. It's the Dale Jackson Show.
Go here problem. I think this might be a joke, but either way, we've got a little bit of an issue. It needs to be addressed just to make sure we all understand this, okay? All right. Okay, good. Let's go ahead and get into it right now. This comes in via the text line. You can jump in here on the scout pest control.com to view vienna hot tape text line as well if you want to make a bad faith argument or a bit of a joke, which I think this is more of a joke than anything else. But here we go. First off, they'd have to be awake in listening to this program, and that's probably not going to happen. So let's start right there. Okay, we just need to understand that it's highly unlikely that this audience is filled with many of those individuals. Okay, so let's just, let's start right there. Number two. I would like to go on record as saying I am not okay with them dying. That is not what I've said or thought. What I've said, and I'll be clear on this as I can be, they seem to be okay with people dying for their cause. They seem to be okay with. I'm not okay with it. I don't want that to happen. I want... And this is, I think, clear in my comments if you're being honest. And again, I think this person is trolling and that's fine. They're kind of being funny. But I just want to make this as clear as I can because if this guy's joking about it, there are probably other people out there who aren't listening either or who are maybe hearing the wrong thing. So let me just say this. I said this is a hill they're willing to die on literally and figuratively. So in the literal sense, yeah, there are people willing to die over this issue. I don't agree with that. I don't want them to die. I don't want them to die. And Democrats themselves are figuratively willing to die on this hill in the sense that they believe that even if they lose elections. It's completely okay because they will at least have fought the good fight. They're willing to die on the hill. That's a common saying. So I just want to make that clear before people do the whole thing that they like to do where they pretend they don't understand simple words, concepts, phrases, or any of that stuff. Not the person who texts that anything because I think that person absolutely gets it. But I do want to address it. You get 70%. or 61% of liberal white women making the argument that it's okay to fight cops. Just think about that. Just think about that. Oh, I'm sorry. Did the audio clip not play? Excuse me. Let me play that again for you. Sorry. Oh, no. Dale said is okay if they literally die.
How many high-calorie liberal women are about to blow a fuse right now? Sorry about that. Sorry about that. But yeah, I will just tell you, probably a lot of them. Probably a lot if they were listening to this radio station. Okay? This is important for people to understand. This is important for people to understand right now. I want you to get this, and I want you to understand this. It doesn't have to be this way. We can just disagree. We just disagree. I don't want, I don't, the appropriate thing to do, it would be to protest if you want to. And say, I don't think as Americans, we should be deporting people who are in this country illegally, whether they commit crimes or not. I don't think we should be deporting them. You can make that argument. It's an argument you can make. I would disagree with that argument. I would disagree with that argument you're trying to make. Okay? I think we should deport people who are bad guys who are in this country illegally, who are doing things illegally. We should deport them. That is going to be my position. But we can have that debate. It's not inappropriate to have the opinion that it's okay to deport these people. And they want to make it to where it's just unacceptable even have the opinion. They can't win in the arena of ideas, so they have to shut the conversation down. I don't want to shut the conversation down. I want to see those polls where those people say, you should fight cops. Not because I agree with it. I absolutely disagree with it. But I want them to be exposed as to who they are. I want to know. I like seeing polls like that. I think they're positioned, and they should say it loud and proud. They should stand on every street corner making the argument that it's incredibly wrong for Americans to support ICE as it is constituted right now to support deportations. That's wrong. They should get out, make that argument, and voice that opinion. I think it's a fair thing to see. And I want them to feel comfortable voicing that opinion. I want them to feel like they can say that stuff out loud. The last thing I ever want them to do is to feel like they are not capable of having that opinion. Because we should all know where they stand. That is good for us. And I'm saying us, I'm speaking to myself, the people that agree with me. You may think.
Why does Dale want to hear this so much? Why does Dale want to expose these people's opinions so much? Oh, well, that's a simple one. It's the simplest thing out there. I want those opinions exposed because they're vile. And I know that people hearing what those individuals believe and feel help my side. I want the people on my side who say and do dumb things to shut their mouths. I want those people quiet. You've probably heard me say that a bunch. I want those people as quiet as possible. Okay? I don't want them out there making a bunch of noise. I want the idiots on the other side talking non-stop. So jump out and do it. Go out there and say these things. Make the argument that ICE is full of nothing but Nazis and murderers and do all these things. Go to the Golden Globes. And this happened last night. Go to the Golden Globes and wear your little pins that show that Hollywood's elite are completely fine with illegal immigrants coming and taking all of your jobs. Where the be good pin. To honor Renee Good after she was killed by an officer. Quote, we need to speak up and shut this rogue government down. It's awful what people are doing to people. Profound. I would suggest that you not be good. That would be my suggestion. My suggestion would be that you operate in the opposite of how. Renee Good operated. If you want to protest what the government is doing, you should do so. I don't think you should park in the middle of the road. And when the cops tell you to get out of your car, I don't think you should try to run over police officers. I know. I'm taking a bold position here, guys. I know, I know. Let's get one in here on the lottery. Give you guys your thoughts on that. I voted libertarian and Republican my whole life, but if Doug Jay Jones can guarantee legal weed and a lottery, that guy has my vote. That's the saddest text we've ever received. I'm just going to be honestly, that is such a pathetic way to look at the world I feel for you. I really do. Get some perspective and reevaluate your priorities, okay? This is The Dale Jackson Show. News Talk 770 a.m. 92.5 FM, WVNN. Dale Jackson here with you. Hey, you guys are doing it. Those of you who are out there fighting and scrapping, you're doing it. Get out of the streets a little bit more. Here's another announcement this morning. DHS sending hundreds more agents to Minneapolis. That's what you wanted, right? Oh, you thought if you got out there in the street and fought with police that they would just go away? Oh, this isn't the Biden administration. Sorry, I don't think that's going to work. Sorry, good luck, though. I wish you the best here, and I hope this all works out for you. I suggest you fight more with them. It's working. Why not, right? Okay. All right. Good job, everyone. Good job. Let's continue this nonsense. We got a lot to get into it. Take out for the hour. Time to remind you about my good friend Matt Curtis and the Matt Curtis Real Estate team. Matt Curtis sells a home every eight hours. He can help you sell yours. Why do you at eight after the hour? Matt Curtis, real estate.com. Matt Curtis. Realestate.com. Talk to that guy today. What do you do? Make sure you tell him Dale Jackson sent you. Yep. Do that right now. We are still watching as people try to justify protesters fighting with ice agents. You shouldn't do that. You shouldn't do it. You should do what people did in Huntsville. Go stand in the park and then march around. Well, everyone's outside enjoying their day. And then they go do something else. That you should do. It's just, it's actually more effective. At least then people just think you're kind of sad and pathetic and lame. They don't think that you're violent psychopaths. So there's that. So good job on that front. So congratulations to the whole, what was it? Dozens, they said, which means 12 in the news media speak that showed up to protest at the emergency protests this weekend around North Alabama. You guys really did a good job. I did see the guy at a Weitzburg. an airport in Huntsville. He did a great job telling us that ICE killed a woman. So it's about the time he stopped with the, well, normally it's more than one person out there with their signs about the Jews. And now we're talking about ICE. So good job to all of them. We're going to jump into the seven things. It's, of course, brought to you by my friends over there, two men in a truck, two men in a truck. Two men in a truck. Huntsville.com. You're going to get two men. You're going to get a truck. You're going to get so much more. Let them help you.
Let them do it right now. If you're making a move, you need to talk to them. Two Men in a Truck, Huntsville.com. Like I said, they have what's the grandma rule. Treat everyone the way you want your grandma to be treated. You want to be treated well. They'll do that for you. Near far, big, small, it doesn't matter. When these folks show up, they're going to get that move done, and they're going to get it done quickly. for the right money and you're going to be happy with their service. Talk to them today, two men in a truck, huntsville.com. All right, let's get to it. It is time for the often duplicated, never replicated the most critically acclaimed segment here. of the Dale Jackson Show, brought to you by Alabama's most trusted journalist. It's the seven things you should be talking about today. Now time for the seven things you'll be talking about today. Number seven. A controlled demolition. brought down the former tallest man-made structure in North Alabama. It's a tower that tested rockets. You want me to get more specific than that? I can't really help you with that. But what I can tell you is I was at my home. And oh, I heard it. Yeah, and I felt it too. And a lot of people did. I can't vouch for the veracity of some of these reports. But people in Decatur, people in Scottsboro. People in Florence all said they felt something. It felt like an earthquake. So that's what it was. Okay? Just be aware that that was happening, I guess. It's a pretty neat video if you haven't seen it. You can go find it. It's pretty amazing. They're now rebuilding all of this stuff to do more testing and rebuild those facilities. This one was a little outdated. Pretty cool. Pretty cool. Number six. President Donald Trump says the United States is closely monitoring Iran while considering potential options amid escalating tensions. The media seems somewhat disinterested in all of this. They don't really seem to be wanting to get on this. Can I give you a theory as to why that is? It's simple. It's because the bad guys in this case are Islamists. Okay. That's it. The bad guys in this case are Islamas. And they are just not really all that interested in getting on the wrong side of them. So they are not interested in the people. The nationwide blackout. Almost seems to be happening here, but it's not quite the case. But I will tell you, it just seems that this thing is getting a little more out of hand. And the White House has said they're willing to get involved if that continues. That is not, not good. Number five. Liberal leaders are pretending they were shocked.
after one of their left-wing mobs showed up outside of a synagogue and started chanting how pro-habas they were. I know. I don't think that's shocking at all. Left-wing mob chanting about how they're pro-habas. Yeah, I think we all know that that's pretty obviously. The case. Okay. Oh, they're mad about it. Oh, okay. They're not supporting it. Okay, that's kind of shocking. Okay, I'll acknowledge that's kind of shocking. Bob Donnie, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the governor of New York have all come out and complained, and then guess what happened? Their most fervent supporters said, hey, what are you a Jew? I mean, that's really what they did. And they're mad at them. They're demanding they not denounce Hamas. Doing great. Number four. Speaking of Democrats marginalizing themselves, how about Alabama Democrats rushing to further marginalize themselves? A candidate for Congress in the fourth congressional district, who I have reached out to and asked to come on this program. Amanda Pusek. attacked ICE agents and accused Republicans of violence. She put out a statement that said, the Amanda Puson campaign issued statement on Minneapolis ice shooting in systemic policy violence, policy violence. Today, the campaign released the following statement regarding yesterday's fatal shooting of, I didn't even see this, but I guess it was out earlier. The loss of the hands of ice in Minneapolis is a tragic reminder of the systematic failures we face. She then goes on to say that none of this would happen if we had more government spending because that's the solution to everything. Other Democrats are putting up more billboards referring to Donald Trump as the grabber, whatever that means. And the media loves this, so they're covering it incessantly. Number three. Alabama's unemployment rate dropped to 2.7% marking a historic low. Is that true? I saw that. I was like, is that real? Is that real? Historic low. I think the real story here is you have a record amount of job growth in November here in the state. Now, that's Alabama. There are some issues here, okay? I mean, there's a real issue here. The state's seasonally adjusted employment rate fell to 2.7% in November down from 3.3 during the same month last year. You can make all sorts of arguments about this, the workforce, and all these other things. You can make those arguments. But Alabama recorded a new high for wage and salary employee, which increased by 12,400 jobs over the year. The jobs report.
Not good. Nationally. Not good. Not something you're going to be able to brag about. Job creation has slowed significantly. Number two. Legislative leaders in Alabama expect a fast-moving session with quick action on key bills, including budget, education, and economic development as they aim to address priorities in the new year in a way that gets the session over quickly. in the campaign season fired up. That's what I think is going to happen. If you're expecting something sexy, I think you're going to find yourself to be somewhat disappointed. I don't think you're going to see a lot of that. I think what you're going to get is mostly budgeting stuff and things like that. If Republicans are smart, they will... hit on a few social issues, which will cause Democrats to freak out. If Democrats were smart, they will not freak out on those social issues and they will stop supporting the people who are screaming about ice and maybe they will make some reasonable arguments and things we should get done. Now, time for the number one thing you'll be talking about today. After a weekend of emergency protest, Following a woman being killed as she tried to hit an ice agent with her car in Minnesota, it was announced that they were sending in more individuals to Minnesota every day. And I love it. I love it. More ICE agents. If you haven't been following the internet very closely, I don't know what that means. If you haven't been on Twitter and Facebook, if you haven't seen this, but there are so many videos out there of people getting in the face of cops and it's not going very well for them. There's also videos of a bunch of liberal white women in their vehicles being told if you continue following us, you're going to be arrested, to which they say, I'm just a woman. What is a woman? Well, they seem to think that it matters. Okay? Yeah, they seem to think that it matters a lot that they are women. One 19 year old is screaming, I'm just a kid as she's being arrested. So continue to jump in there and get in their face. Ice announced, by the way, this I thought was interesting. Ice announced not only whether they will deploy more individuals to Minneapolis, but they also announced. that they had arrested a ton, a ton of degenerate illegal immigrants. We're talking about child rapists, murderers, and more. Violent rioters and agitators who are trying to protect them are also getting arrested, which is also kind of funny. Tim Walz and Jacob Frey, they're out there suggesting it's a good thing that all these people are getting to the cops' faces. I'm okay. Look, the only way this ends is you arrest the people who continue fighting with cops. That's the only way it is.
And I fully support that. Get your thoughts and get your calls in right now. 866 494 WVNN. You can jump in right there if you would like. That is the free speech phone lines. You can pick us up also of the text line. The scout pest control.com. WVNN. Hot take text slide. You can do that too. And I mentioned the number is 866494. WVNN and you can emailing. You've got mail. Hey, did you two hear the, or did you feel the, uh, the earth move on Saturday? Did you guys feel it? No. You guys look. Bugsy, I feel it. I didn't even know about it. Oh, man. It was, it was, it was pretty wild. It was, it was, it was pretty wild. It was, it was pretty wild. And it was, it was like, what is that?
I was like, oh, it's the end of the world. Don't tell him that. You're just being attacked. It's the end of the world. No, I didn't say anything to him like that. That's crazy. But. It was pretty earth-shaking. Let's call it that. Okay. All right. Now, let's move on and talk about some other stuff going on. I think we would all get this. So I just want to make sure I'm right when I talked about this. These ineffective billboards that are being purchased all over the state by Indivisible and I guess Alabama Blue Dot or some other group that is called something like that. I want to ask you something about that. If I tell you, if you're driving by a billboard and it says the grabber, and it's Donald Trump with his hand grabbing something, and it says, taking whatever while Congress rolls right over, do you, does that, does that, does that, do you understand what that means? That, I mean, taking whatever is Congress rolls over. I mean. Let me tell you why I ask. I ask because I know you and I. all of us listening to this program and participate in this program right now pay more attention to politics than most does the average person know what that is when their drive know the intention of what that is i mean it's a deep cut it goes all the way back to throwback to his billy bush interviews yes yes and it also suggests that he's grabbing power from congress yeah okay all right so you're like i guess i get this but Does the average person who's not, nonstop paying attention to this, understand what that means? I don't think so. Okay. Here's how A.O.com framed it. The signs come a week after U.S. military action in Venezuela, the capture of its leader, strongman Nicholas Maduro. So they're saying, this is what the organizer says. He doesn't ask. He just doesn't word grabs. It's a hideous quality in a human. It's proven to be intolerable quality in a country. They say it's about Venezuela. Okay. All right. I just look at this and I just wonder to myself. What are they doing? And why is it necessary for AL.com and all the other media to cover these things every time one goes up? Like every single time. And if you go through the story, they're talking about EG Carroll. They're talking about Access Hollywood. They're talking about previous billboards. I mean, they're just, this article has like nine million words in it. And it's just slobbering all over these people. They're irrelevant. Irrelevant. And they are just constantly being slurped up by the media. This is what American national security looks like, Tuberville posted. Let's be a warning anyone who threatens our country. Okay, I think that's pretty clear where that is. On the other side, bright blue dot supporters called Trump's action a contradiction to American ideals in its place a march towards domination. So they're coming out.
against removing Maduro. That's what they're doing. By the way, that same poll that shows 61% of white women want people to fight with the cops show 57% of Americans support going after Maduro and 57% is that same number supported bombing Iran. So Trump getting 57% on anything, I think is pretty impressive at this point in time, especially given how delusional the people who oppose him are. But they put up 24 billboards, and the Alabama media has covered every single one of them. Dale Jackson. Talks at the 70 a.m. 92.5 FM. W of VNN. Dale Jackson here with you. Thank you very much for joining us. Appreciate you being here and we appreciate you every single day. We are about to be joined. We're about to call him up here right now on the phone lines. Dr. Mark Masterson, we're going to talk to him about a piece of legislation that is working its way through the legislature that involves some dental issues. He is a dentist in Madison and Decatur, and we want to talk to him a little bit about this. And there's a lot going on here. So Bugsie, I just sent you the number to call him. I kind of forgot to get into this with you that you need to call it. But. He'll be joining us here in just a quick minute. There's a lot going on with this, and they're changing up how they want to change up potentially, how they are going out and potentially making insurance, maybe a little more unavailable for people when it comes to dental insurance. So we'll talk to Mark Masterson about this here in just one second. Now, here's a couple of things going on around the country right now. We have. A couple of things going down, and it's important. We have the whole ice situation happening. We have that still going on in Minnesota. We continue to follow all the other stories that are happening in Iran and Venezuela and everywhere else. So let's go ahead and table some of that for just a second and talk with Dr. Mark here. He is my child's dentist. So I'm going to call him Dr. Mark. Thank you very much for joining us. Let's talk a little bit about this. Alabama, especially Madison. and not seeing a lot of great things when it comes to dental stuff. We saw fluoride go out of the water in Madison. Some people were concerned about this. Now we have Senate Bill 203. Tell us people what this would do. I was reading about this. It would require dental insurers to spend at least 85% of premiums on claims and refund access amounts to policyholders if the threshold isn't met. What would this mean for dentists?
Man, you know, I'm just glad I'm sitting down that I think this is the first time you've actually referred to me as a doctor as long as you know me. So Dale's kind of had me on this relationship, kind of like the hangover. If anything medically happens to get a real doctor in the house. But no, I'm glad that this is being discussed. What this really means is that patients are going to be able to see how their premiums are being used and what percentage is actually being used for the care. You know, the standard that's being brought to the nation on this where this legislation has passed. It's been around 85%. And I believe for Alabama, they're trying to get it if it's individually held policy up to just 75%. And if it's a large group like many of us in the workforce will have up to 83%. And what that means is that, you know, whereas before dental insurance companies have had to have no disclosure whatsoever on what amount of their revenue is being spent towards care of the premiums of patient pays, well, now they have to at least disclose or spend up to this amount towards patient care instead of just administrative cost or a profit margin. So, but how would this affect a dentist or a policy user? Who's the winner here? Why do they want to do this? Oh, the winner for sure is the patient. I mean, one thing that we know is going to prevent people from coming in is just the cost. You know, I'm in pediatric, so, you know, if there's a family that has, you know, more than one child, large family or families who are not a higher economic level, just the portion that a patient would pay out of pocket. would just discourage them from being seen, much less if there's a lot of needs that need to be treated. So number one is the patient being able just to use, you know, get the most out of their insurance, you know, be able to just seek out care and fall through treatment there. The benefit for the dentist, well, I mean, you know, just as any insurance company, be it medical, be it dental, we know that we're all having to kind of be at the insurance companies, you know, bend the need to them as far as what they'll allow. you know and their reimbursements with their contracts the amount we have to write off so everyone kind of wins as far as the relationships go between us and the insurance company but for sure it's the patients who are going to win the most So it's kind of interesting to watch the Alabama legislature work over the last couple of years. They've really not made the insurance companies too happy going all the way back to the autism legislation many, many years ago. And they've sort of been, and a lot of people think that the insurance companies win every time. I don't think they win every time. This isn't something that they want. So what kind of opposition are they going to put up against this? Well, believe it or not, I think at least from my understanding when they've had communication with some of our lobbyist organizations here in the state, that they finally understand this is a nationwide thing happening. I think there's at least 20 other states from what I've seen that have similar bills coming in that are going to require for that amount of spending in the 80 to 85% towards dental care towards patient benefits.
And the nice thing that's even going along with this, it's not a use it or lose it type thing. There's another bill, Bill 204, that's actually putting in place to roll out of these benefits if they're not used. It's not a forever continual thing, but they can accumulate more than like two times the amount of a proposed annual benefit. But this is just where patients are going to be able to use the insurance they have. and not worry, you know, that is going to prevent them from doing any of the things they need to do for themselves or their kids. But yeah, I think it's the other thing that's interesting too is they have to be transparent. This is going to, you know, force insurance companies to show their clients how is their premium being spent. It'll be interesting to see how the insurance companies respond to this and what they actually do. And I think you're right. You're seeing a bit of a trend here on transparency. And insurance companies are being viewed very, very much as the bad guys in a lot of issues. This might be one that they take a knee on or support in order to get a little positive PR. But we never know how that's going to go. Let me ask this question. I've always been a person who looks at people's teeth. Not as much as you do, obviously. But I'm a teeth person. My son bullied me, and I'm not kidding. He said something one day and I was like, okay, you just destroyed my, you just destroyed my feelings, and now I'm going to go get my teeth white, and I did. What percentage of parents are not able to take their children to the dentist? What percentage is that? Because teeth impact, yeah, look, there's mouth health, and it leads to other issues. We've talked about that before. But there's also like a confidence issue that comes with having bad teeth. What percentage of parents don't get their kids the proper dental care? Here's the ones that we have that are kind of recent. Believe it not, it's hard to kind of just say how many specifically are not being seen. Because parents aren't going to say, no, I don't take my kid to the dentist, right, to a poll. Exactly. That's right. We know that probably the most recent report, and this is a nationwide thing, children missed a total of 52 million school hours nationwide due to dental problems. The other thing we do know that's been published, too, is that kids who do have dental problems are three times as much likely to miss school. So, I mean, this is where it translates into. It's not just them having their own personal problems, you know, with pain and just associated problems with that. And it's kind of translating to other areas of their lives. I think it's important to people look at that because I think I think that's one of the things that people really need to be concerned about. And I'm a typical hypocrite parent. I didn't want to brush my teeth when I was growing up. My kid doesn't want to brush his teeth now, but I'd yell at him and tell him to do so. And that's just exactly what happens here because it's important that people do do this. And I think that people need to make sure that they're using their dental care and getting their dental care for their kids.
We watched as Obamacare became a thing. Is there going to be a push on the other side for some dental version of this where you have more kids covered because the government picks up some of the nut? You know, I don't think on a national level. I remember one of my partners and I were having breakfast at Blue Plate. This was a long time ago, and this is when Parker Griffith was still, you know, holding office back then, and ACA was in its emphasis. And of course, we went up to and said, hey, is dentistry on the table, you know, to be considered for this too? And he says, we can't afford it. He says, we can't afford what we got, much less adding something else to it. So I wouldn't see anything like that. And that's why this has much been kind of a state-by-state thing. I think the majority of dental benefits are held usually in about an 85 to 90 percent private situation, meaning your own private insurance and 10 to 15 percent being in a public plan. I would love nothing more to see that everybody have coverage and coverage they can use. But it just doesn't seem that that's going to be any time on the table soon. It's going to be more so hopefully the people who do have coverage are going to be able to use their insurance to a maximum benefit for themselves. Last question here for Dr. Mark. Madison ended the fluoride in the water there. Obviously, you have a practice there. It's too soon to see any change from that. When do you expect to see maybe some impact on that? Yeah, well, this is something we presented to the water board and beg and plead. I mean, my grandson is, you know, a citizen of the city of Madison. And, you know, whereas we used to say to parents, you know, tell them to spit out the toothpaste. I'm telling them, don't even worry about it. That may be the only fluoride they're getting. What we think it's going to be is about a three-year turnaround before we see the effects of kids, you know, now and their primary dentition develop. started to come in and start to see the downfall, the lack of fluoride or the lack of, you know, superior development that they were optimal development they could have with the removal of fluoride. So I'm worried that it's going to take that long and us have to present problems to, you know, the city council for them to get involved to put this back in. Because I don't know anywhere else in North Alabama, anywhere that has considered doing this. It was just the city of Madison. Yeah, it was just a silly thing. Silly thing all the way. Last question for you. Alabama got destroyed by 35 when it came to Indiana. Then they go out in Iraq, Oregon, 34. I guess they're the real deal. I didn't think they were the real deal, but we've talked about this off the air a lot. They're the real deal. Are you surprised by that? Well, first of all, I'm truly thankful that Oregon went up and did that for the hope that everybody's going to forget that it happened to Alabama. And I do. I think Indiana is going to march in next Monday and put the same type, maybe not the same amount, but the same type of performance on Miami. And I think they're your best team in the country this year. There's no doubt about it.
Yeah, I was kind of shocked to see that. I really was. I was shocked to see them. I really thought they were a paper tiger. I think I told you that many times, but I thought they were a paper tiger. Yeah, but turns out they are not. They're the real deal. All right, Dr. Mark, and just a full disclosure here. Dr. Mark said I never call a doctor. Here's the truth. But I'm talking with him. He is not a doctor. When Grant has an issue at 9 o'clock at night, all of a sudden, Dr. Mark becomes a doctor. I'll call him up and be like, hey, you're a doctor. I need your help. So there we go. Dr. Mark, thank you very much. I'm always happy to do it. I appreciate it coming on the program and talking with us about this issue. It's a good one. It's a bill that's been offered up. We'll see how the insurers respond to it. And like I said, the insurers are taking some Ls in the Alabama legislature over the last couple of years. They'll lose every battle. We'll see how fervently they fight this thing. If it goes anywhere, we'll probably learn more about this moving forward. So thank you very much to him coming on the program and voicing his opinion. You can voice your opinion. as well. How do you do it? Well, it's very, very simple. Text it right here. 866-494 WVNN. That is the ScoutPest Control.com. WVNN. Hot take text line. 225 FMWVNN Dale Jackson here with you. Thank you very much for joining us. We've got some traffic issues me to deal with real quick. Emily, take it away. Okay. Oh, I thought she told me what I do. I can do it in time. No, no, no, no, no, no. Westbound 565 is down to one lane at, uh, it's, while triana four vehicle wreck tow trucks on site traffic is backed up to gate nine but i also saw that there's a situation on 65 around decatur with an overturned vehicle um you know there was ice on the road earlier this morning Yeah. So they're on cars. So I guess we should have expected to see chaos this morning. So everyone, be careful out there. The traffic and the weather is going to get a little crazy this week. Yeah. Give yourself a little bit of time to get where you need to be and be safe. That's my free advice that I'm going to give you. And my other piece of free advice is if you are in the meteorology game, do this for me. Okay. Ready? Ready? Shut up. Stop whining that other people have opinions about the weather, okay? Stop it. It's not a good look for you guys. It'd be like me being mad. There are people on the internet giving their opinion about the news, and they don't even have journalism degrees. That's the equivalent. Sorry, go ahead and tell the rest of the traffic. I went on a little tangent there. I mean, that's okay. It's just really, if you're on 565, just like that South Park episode, you're going to have a bad time. Yeah, that's true. So just be careful out there. And here's the beauty of it. You can listen to the radio the entire time. You can hang out with us the entire time. And occasionally, the comment section comes alive. Alive. Alive. Ready or not, the comment section comes alive.
I forget what nerds this audience. And sometimes this kind of kicks off and reminds me. Yes, the question can be answered on WVNN's Facebook page. Yavvy thinks I'm talking about him. I can sense it already. I can sense that Yavi thinks I said that. And he's like, he must be talking about me. All right, here we go. The question is this, what movie should have never gotten a sequel? And you guys got a lot of good answers in here. Somebody did steal mine, though, but I would say Ghostbusters as well. Multiple times over. Ghostbusters. Here's another deep cut, though. Back to the Future 2 never should have had a sequel. But you like three, though. No, wrong. Two is good. Three is the one of the worst movies ever made. You've got it completely wrong. Ghostbusters is the correct answer because Ghostbusters 2 is terrible. The next one in the real lineage of ghost buses is okay. It's all right. It's all right. They brought back Egon as a ghost when he's already dead. It's a little weird. But that's okay. Speed two. That's another really great answer. It's a really good answer. The Matrix, I disagree with that. The Matrix 2 was all right. Blues Brothers, the first one was brilliant. The second one was a watch. Is that after they switched him out for his brother, James Belushi? Is that right? Jim Belushi? Is that it? Yeah. Jim, according to Jim or whatever it is. All right, let's see, Airplane, Airplane 2, the sequel sucked. Okay, that's good. On another note there, naked gun two and a half, great movie. Okay, just similar name there. Divergent! In fact, they never should have made the first one. I hate the movie Divergent. I don't think they even finished the trilogy. I think that's how bad those movies were. All right, Emily, what do you got? Greece, too. Greece, too. I know. They didn't even address. Oh, we're in space. What are we doing? They didn't even do that. They didn't even do it. It went up there and started flying around. That was the worst ending to that. That is a terrible, the end. I hope one day you asked the question, what is the worst ending of a movie? That is the worst. That is possibly the worst ending. The only thing other movie that I think is worse, no, that's worse than what I was going to say. I was going to say Ghostbusters 2 has a terrible ending. And I would also say that what is the movie? I can't remember it now that it was in my, it was on, oh, Fight Club has a terrible ending. Fight Club has terrible energy. Oh, sorry, I know I'm getting all over the place. Air Force One has a terrible thing. You can literally see the hand making the airplane crash into the water. It's that bad. It's really that bad. All right. Bugsie, what do you got? What sequel never should have been made? I got two. Gladiator. Of course, Gladiator, too. They should have left it at the first one. It was the end of the story. They didn't need to continue it. And then Smokin Aces, too. The first one was bad enough. I don't know why they thought that they could improve on it. I like Spokin Aces. It's awesome. It's great. Because it's a bad movie. It's great. Oh, is that it? Yes, it's awful. I didn't get that. I didn't get that. Heavy metal. I didn't even know that they made a heavy metal, too.
I was completely unaware of that. Did you know that? I had no idea. I had no idea they made a heavy metal, too. Highlander, this is the answer I was looking at when I said I could tell you guys are nerds. Highlander, the first movie was perfect. The second movie made them all into aliens. They should have listened to the tagline. There could be only one. That's very funny, though. I will tell you that. They're also making a new Highlander movie. There's another one coming. I know there was a TV series, too. They're making another Highlander. And Highlander got mentioned twice on this. I'm a little upset. Ghostbusters, two, only got mentioned once, and Highlander got mentioned twice. I don't know how he got into that place, but there we go. That's where it is. Look, I am not a big movie guy, but I have been told that the movie Lilo and Stitch 2, not great. But they are about to make a third one. The last two, of course, be live action. Did you see Lilo and Stitch the live action? No. I don't care for the live action remakes of classic cartoons. You know there's no way to win with those? No, there's not. But they do it anyway. You either do like they did with the Lion King, and you do basically a shot-for-shot remake. And you say live action, that's just CGI animals as opposed to cartoon animals. But you do a shot-for-shot remake. And people complain about that. Or you change the story, though. Let's say that. Right. No, you're right. You're exactly right. Because they look real. You can't tell if a lion is smiling or something. It's just, it's crazy. But if they change anything. People get mad about that too. So there's no winning, no winning at all. I guess how to train your dragon for some reason. They made a, not a live, I guess they did do a live action. But when they did that, it's basically almost line for line, the exact same movie. And people were complaining about that. So there you go. Just sequels that never should have made. I guess the right answer is the live action sequels. Leave our childhoods alone. Okay, that's it. Instead make straight to DVD releases of Aladdin 7 or something. That's the way to go about it. All right. Thank you very much. Hayden 8 coming up next. It's the Dale Jackson Show. Yes. I was looking at you waiting for you to say something. Yeah, this is a radio show. It's an audio medium. Shut up. Shut up. So, yeah. Could they make a sequel where John Travolta comes back in current form today and Sandra D. has died in the process and now he's back and he comes back to the same town. Would you watch that movie? No. I would watch that movie. You'd watch that movie. You watched that Capital One commercial where he's Santa Claus doing Greece Lightning? Yes, I'm telling you. That's the thing. He also flies off into the sky and that will do. So there we go. Yes, he does. Why did they put that in the movie? Is Danny Zuko really Santa Claus? I just don't know what they were thinking in that situation. They weren't thinking. Okay. He was splashing around. Make, never mind. All right, we got a lot to do. Lots to talk about. Let's go ahead and get in to hate at 8. That's brought to you by Scout Pest Control. You know about Scout Pest Control. I'll tell you about them all the time. I love them. And listen, somebody was telling me something the other day. They went over to their mother's house and they were helping their mother clean some stuff out and their mother had rat droppings everywhere. And now this is not safe for elderly people. You need to make sure to check on your loved ones that you have and make sure they are taking care of their pest control needs. You do not want them to get sick because of rat droppings and things like this. Scout pest control can take care of that for you or your loved ones. You need to remind people they need to get done. Even they don't go with Scout pest control, whatever.
just happened and I wanted people to know you need to be on top of that. Scout pest control.com. I'm not going to make a joke about Yaffy being carried away by rats or any of these things. Do the things you need to do to take care of you and yours. Scout pest control can help you with that. Scout pest control. Proud sponsors are my favorite segment every single day. Proud sponsors of hate ads. Hey! I'm as bad as hell, and I'm not gonna take this anymore! What's got you steamed? What's got you mad? Tell us now. It's time for hate at eight. Now, if any of you got anything else to say, now's the time. Yes, now is the time. And here's something Yaffe's going to hate on. The Downtown Rescue Mission Glow Run is happening. Saturday, March 14th, and he's not here to defend himself. Grant has thrown down the gauntlet. Again. He already beat him once, and he said he's going to be Yaffy again in the 5K. So get ready for it. Grant scored a couple of, well, a good number of points the other day in the basketball game. Played some good defense. And my team was victorious 20 to 2. I might hate about something there, though. So stay tuned for that. Let's go to Bugsie first. Bugsy. What do you hate on? Hating on myself. I know everybody hates when we hit on ourselves, but it's ultimately my fault. I am constantly defeated by my own hubris and all facets of life. And I made it to $10,000 on that virtual casino I've been addicted to the other day from $70, from $70. Is this real money? No, I wish. But I could play for real money. No, no, no. But anyways, I got up to 10,000 from playing just blackjack, and then I was like, you know what? I bet I could double this, and I put it all in, and I lost it all. Well, there's a good lesson on gambling right there. There it is. The real lesson is use real money and then cash out at 10 grand. Here's another lesson for you, okay? I'm going to be your friend, okay? Find anything else to do with your time. Okay. No, I don't want to. It's fine. It's not even real gambling. Come on. That's that's all. Look, we're turning the whole nation into gamblers with video games right now. And don't be one of those. Don't be one of those. All right, Jeff, let's go to Jeff here on the phone lines. Jeff, here on the free speech phone lines. Go ahead. What do you hate on? Bill, I'm hating on Renee Goods Child's School there in Minneapolis, the Southside Family Charter School. And that... This place is a bastion of liberal ideology and indoctrinating these children. Probably from what I've read, it would make the Rainbow Acceptance Academy look like a conservative school. They're basically teaching these kids to go out and do the things that her mom did, and his mom did or whatever. And it's federally funded, so that's what I've got a big gripe. Well, there's the...
There's the correct complaint right there. And I thank you very much, Jeff. I appreciate it. I didn't know where you're going with this. I was going to disagree with you. But if it is federally funded, I got a problem with it. I will say this, though. I will say this. I fully support. school choice and if parents want to make stupid decisions like that, feel free to do so. I think that's the case. I can't be a hypocrite on that front. I fully support school choice and I think that if these are the place they want to send their kids, so be it. Even though I disagree with it, I would question the federal funding going to something like that. And they will probably give an award at the end of the year to one of the little kids for being a good activist and called the Renee Good Award. And they're going to make plenty of plays off her name. To try to make this stick around, they will fail. Just FYI. They will fail because she's not that good when she's trying to run over a police officer. So there's that. All right. Emily, what do you hate on? I'm hating on that I've committed to this hey people birthday party where, for those of you that don't know, the hate people. Yeah, I can explain this. What the hell I hate. The people are very. Their names are Hans and Frida, and they're put up around Coleman every year for Octoberfest. And they've done this for, I don't know how long, as long as my memory goes back. Margo loves the Hay People. Margo has asked for a Hay People birthday party. And so I thought, okay, we'll make this happen. We'll do a Hay People birthday party. I'll get husband to build like the silhouette of the Hay People, and my best good friend will paint them because she paints them every year for the city. So it would be authentic. It's time to take her to a jump park and call it a day. Nope. Continue. Because I say this about husband building the silhouette of the hay people or whatever, the outline of the hay people. And he says, what do you mean that we're not going to have 80 foot tall hay people in our driveway? I don't know where to get that kind of hay in February. I don't know what to do. You're actually looking at building like a real hay person? Like, hey people, it's Hans and Frida. You can't have one without the other. Marga would lose her mind. So now I've got to, if anybody knows where I can get. large bales of hay so I can create the hay people for my kid's birthday party that I've agreed to I would appreciate it text lines 866 494 WVNN I wonder what a giant bail of hay costs I seriously I'm dead serious about that have you ever seen the hay people didn't I send you a picture of the hay people I know what they are yeah what are you gonna do with them after after her birthday Uh, Coleman's full of farmland. Are just going to dump the haymills off? Just dump the hay down at the stockyard or something. I don't know. Just light them on fire. You're good. If you got an answer for that, we're more than happy to hear it. So good luck on that. Emily, here we go. Let's get to some of your texts that have come in.
Well, hold on, let's start that over again. There we go. Let's get to this right here on the ScoutPest Control.com, WVNN, Hot Take Text Line 866, 494, WVN. I hate that no one has been arrested, tried, or convicted for the fraud of Act Blue. Yeah, you know, there's something there that I'm shocked that we haven't seen more people being held accountable for it, but I think the problem is the anonymous nature of it. It just goes to show you that I think in this world that you can hide money being donated. I kind of believe money is speech, so I'm kind of ambivalent to this whole thing. But yeah, there's definitely a scam going on there where they're hiding money. It reminds me of Huntsville City Councilman. What was his name? Richard Showers. Some people called him a gas hole because he stole gas during a... Tornadic event in 2011. Really not cool. Really not cool. But he had on one of his campaign finance forms withheld by donor requests. He wrote that on there. Huh. It just defeats the entire purpose. I can't believe you got away with it. But all right, here we go. Here's another one for you. I hate hate that some out of touch-dum senators voted for 5.7 billion more in refuge welfare, and one of them is called Senator Hammy Britt. First of all, I don't think anyone calls her Senator Hammie Britt. What is that supposed to mean? She hams it out? Pork. Pork. Oh. Is what it is what it is supposed to mean. But okay. That's fair. Listen, the refugee benefit money being spent and wasted the way it's been wasted. It's how you turn people against it. That's exactly right. That's exactly what happens. And people get mad about this. And then they misuse it, which is why they have to hold these people accountable. They have to hold these people accountable for stealing. So that's important. All right, Dale, what are you hating on? I hate on you having for not being here. That would be number one. Number two, I'm also hating on myself for not fighting chat GPT to help coach my kids basketball team better than I ever could. So I'm dead serious. So look, I have eight kids on my team. And as I'm putting together the roster here, I'm thinking about this and trying to figure this out. Because in the game, it's very, very chaotic, very chaotic dealing with these eight kids and they're running around. They're all crazy and they're all very emotional. And I'm very emotional. The sideline screaming. I looked at one of the kids, I did this. I said, Peter, Peter! Peter! And he looked at me and I said, if you do that again, I'm going to kill you. And I was like, probably shouldn't have said that. Probably not. Shouldn't do like throat slashing motions at eight-year-olds and things like that. You know, not a great, not a great, I didn't do the throat slash motion. But he just threw the ball up instead of passing it. I got pissed about it. So I was like, hey, what are you doing? Anyway, I asked chat GPT.
to help me with my substitutions because I wanted to have it written down so I could go to it. And obviously changed on the fly if I needed to, but I wanted to make sure all the kids got like a pretty good equal amount of playing time. So I entered in the roster. I told it what I wanted to do. And it literally wrote me a substitution plan. for an eight under basketball team. And it worked. We won 20 to 2. It was fantastic. That's insane that you won 20 to 2. Look, my kids are rabid. Okay. I mean, they are, they are rabid. And they are, they are rabid defensive monsters. If they could shoot, they'd be really dangerous. But they are, they are very aggressive. And I kind of. push that during our practices i didn't do a lot of drills i just threw the ball in there and said fight over it that's basically what they what they have been doing so i'm very impressed with their with their skills also i called the time out at the end of the third quarter so I could get another shot off. And I was like, why did I do that? I just wasted a time out in the middle of the thing. It was such a stupid thing. I told a kid, don't throw the ball up. And then like two minutes later, I called a time out and said, okay, get the ball here and throw the ball up. So I sent some mixed messages. So anyway, not being a great basketball coach, but we're one in one. And I'm looking forward to even more there. But I'm going to try to be a more reasonable person on the sidelines. I don't know if I'm able to. The one thing I will say is also this. I go to the coaches, the referees, and I say, hey, I want you to call everything. I want you to call traveling. They're called latent violations on eight-year-olds. They're doing all these things. And as all this is happening, like we're up 20 to 2. And the. Parents on the other team are yelling. Walk. He's walking. He's walking. He's like, they're yelling because they weren't calling it one of these times. And at the end, I was like, they're right. The guy was walking. But they called a lot of penalties on my kids. I was very happy. On that coach, guys, I beg for the refs to call more penalties. We'll be right back. Let's take a time out. More coming up. Stay tuned. This is the Dale Jackson Show.
Someone just left the comment on my social media page. It's a response to another comment, but I just saw the original comment and I thought it was pretty funny because, you know, it's untrue. And there's a lot of this going on in here. And I love, I love it when people are incredibly entitled and want to voice their opinion and being this entitled. So I wanted to share it with you guys. Listen to this. Ice agents are not cops. Ice agents are barred B.Y law from issuing commands to U.S. citizens. Pure ignorance on display here. Ice agents are not cops. Ice agents are barred by law from issuing commands to U.S. citizens. Imagine believing that that was true. Like, just imagine believing that that was true. Like, you, so let me see if I get this correctly. Ice agents show up and if you say you're a U.S. citizen, they can't even talk to you. They can't issue any commands. I mean, just imagine if this were true. This is as dumb as when they say stuff like, well, you know, it's just a civil offense. And it's not a real crime to come into the country illegally. There's just things that people say that aren't even remotely true. Yet it is repeated over and over and over again in our society to the point where a lot of people seem to actually believe this, that ICE is not allowed. So again, I just want to make sure I get this. ICE is not allowed to come in and tell people anything if they're American citizens. That's what people actually believe. There's so much misinformation out there. It's stupid and it's getting stupid people hurt. This came up recently when a Minnesota lawmaker said that crossing the border illegally is not a crime. And the head of the border control or border commander, excuse me, said this, 18 U.S.C. 1325 illegal entry federal crime. And she said, hmm. They have no response to the actual facts. They hear these things. They repeat them over and over and over again, and they just don't care. There are real penalties for this. And just saying it's a civil penalty doesn't mean that you can't be arrested for it. Okay? It's just a fake thing that people are saying. Yet they continue to suggest that it's the only thing that you can't go after them for it. It says in the law, and I'm going to read this to you real quick. Any offense? Be fine under Title 18 or in prison not more than six months or both. And for a substantive commission of such an offense, be fined under Title 18 or in prison for not more than two years or both. They're lying. Okay? This idea that ICE can't interact with Americans is false. And this idea that it's a civil offense and not a criminal offense is just stupid. And the people who are saying it should not be listened to. It's the Dale Jackson Show.
Hey, I'm Chris Van Fleet. Go behind the scenes and beyond the headlines with the biggest names in pro wrestling and beyond. Mr. Sandman. All I ever wanted to be was a pro wrestler. So I got to live my life and make people really happy. The heartbreak kid himself, Sean Michaels. Do you think there's anybody better than you were? I think I was great at what I did. And I think other people were great at what they did as well. Greatness is more of mindset, I think, than anything else. Mindset, motivation, insight with Chris Van Fleet. Follow and listen on your favorite platform. platform. News Talk 7.m. 92.5 FM, WVNN. Neil Jackson here with you. Thank you very much for joining us. You know, I wish people would tell me where eyes are in this community. I wish they would. I don't want them to put it on like the internet, war criminals and stuff, but I want to go buy them lunch. That's what I want to do. And I think that if we see ice agents out and about, we should buy them lunch. That's what we should be doing. We should not be yelling at them and screaming at them. They're getting enough of that. Just buy them lunch. You see them in line at the grocery or not the grocery store, but like a fast food restaurant or something. Pop it and buy them lunch. That's the way to go about doing this and support these guys. And this idea that these guys are the bad guys. Guys, guys, guys, guys, guys. The idea that ice are the bad guys is so ridiculous. It is so stupid. And I'm embarrassed for the people that are pushing this stuff.
Today the first day I've ever used the word high calorie female. I don't think that's true. I think I've used it a billion times. I don't know why people are all the... Sounds like I got some fat people. One might say it's a crutch. Yes. It's not a crutch. See, you say crutch, I accurately say fantastic branding. It's easy to say, look at these fat people. No, you call them high calorie females and people go... I know what you're talking about. I meant it as a crutch as if it's something that you say so often. Ah, I see. I see, I see, I see. Like Tiny Tim has a crutch. No, Dale, a radio crutch. I got you. Do you? Want to talk about another stupid thing? Look at the videos of liberal white women showing up at ICE protests with their babies and toddlers. I mean, imagine thinking. Why mad because somebody was killed in a protest? Okay, honey, I'm going out. I'm taking my kid to this protest. I can't imagine even thinking that that's a good idea. If I found out my wife did that, I'd be pissed. You're right? I'd be so bad. I would be so bad. First, I'd be like, you're not allowed to vote. What makes you think you should be out there doing that? Okay. The first thing I'd be bad about. Also, was there a kitchen out there? Did you bring some food back? What's going on out there?
So I don't, never mind. Mm-hmm. Being a weatherman is like being in sec referee. You can be wrong all the time and still get paid. All right, fine. Probably SEC. He's British. He doesn't know any better. He doesn't know any better. Being a weatherman is like being an SEC referee. You can be wrong all the time and still get paid. I want to be clear about what my criticism of the... weathermen was about today. I just don't make it clear. See, we're about to have snow, okay? Which means we are about to see what we see all the time. There are going to be one to be weathermen on social media telling you that they saw this or that or whatever and they think there's going to be snow on this day. Then there are going to be actual weathermen who want to be called meteorologist or weather women that want to be called meteorologists or whatever. I call it weather people. That's what I call them. But it doesn't matter. What you're seeing here is these people are going to be very upset that there are people without degrees and without the training making suggestions on social media. And it's dangerous. It's dangerous to be seeing having these people do this. I'm just like, is it? Is it dangerous? Is there like some, is there some story where I saw a guy on the news or on Facebook saying there was going to be a tornado and the tornado didn't come and kill me? And so what exactly is the complaint other than I don't got, excuse me, I got one of those fancy degrees and you should listen to me instead. This reminds me of the woman I saw on Facebook or on LinkedIn yesterday who wrote an entire post about how citizen journalists need to stop what they're doing. Citizen journalists need to stop. because they don't have fact checkers and they don't have people who are watching what's going out and making sure only good stuff goes out. They don't have that happening, which is why people like them. You've had an entire eon to own quote unquote journalism. And all you've done is destroy the reputation of journalists with your failures. And now you're saying that other people shouldn't be listened to because they don't have fact checkers. Well, you do have fact checkers and you guys get it wrong all the time. There was a girl who went on Facebook the other day or Reddit the other day. And I'm not hating on this person. I'm not just a slight criticism. They went on to Reddit looking for people to complain about Huntsville's transit system. Okay, she's a Fox 54 reporter and she went on there and she said, I am Valentina Chilea. I am a reporter at Fox 54 and we are looking for people to interview today about public transportation.
in Huntsville. We are looking and to talk to people about their thoughts on public transportation in the Rocket City. We were talking to an individual who's running for city council and we were hoping to get outside perspectives. Well, if you know anything about social media and Reddit and all these other things, here's what they're going to say. We need more buses. We need light rail. We need rail that goes from downtown to ditto landing. Not going to ride it, but we need it. If we only had more rail, there'd be less congestion on the roads. Yes, that's right. If we built. an entire system of trains all over the city, then maybe more people would ride the train than we'll ride the bus right now. But then you have to go and get right-aways, you have to build the trains, you have to lay the tracks, you have to have the stops, you have to make sure that all these things can happen, and then you have to convince people that it makes sense to do it. And let me tell you this. I'll just use this as a perfect example. Let's say you lived in... Blossomwood. Now, they say Blossom Hood ain't up to no good, okay? That's what they say now about Blossomwood. But I will tell you this about Blossomwood. I like Blossomwood. Nice neighborhood. But let's just say you live in Blossomwood and you work at Research Park. Okay? Okay. Let's just say that happens. And you were going to go to, and there was a train. that went from Blossomwood to Research Park. And you were like, I'm going to ride this train. Okay. So come on ride the train. Yes. Come on ride the train. And ride it. Ooh, ooh, ooh. Come on ride the train. And ride it. From deep down south where we play this game, we're the Quad City DJs and yo, we call it the train. Is that right? I think I got that pretty close. I don't even know, but just he kept saying train over and over again and started bobbing my head. Sorry, sorry, sorry. But anyway, where is the train get picked up in Blossomwood? Where? Just tell me where you want it to be. Just pick a place. I'll pick a place for you. Star Market. They're right outside Star Market, right there. They just put a train stop right out there. Right there in five points? Yeah, right in the middle of five points. Okay, so now you've got to walk from my house to the train station or park there. Then I have to, forget about having to lay the tracks. It's not like laying a pipe. I'm good at that. I don't know anything about laying tracks. Okay. I don't know anything about that. So you have to go out there. You got to lay the tracks. You got to do that. You got to find the right of ways in order to do that. Then it has to go all the way down to Research Park. Then it goes to Research Park. Where in Research Park does it stop? Oh, it goes to every single business in Research Park. No? Oh, it goes somewhere to a central location in Research Park. Okay, where? Okay, so it's right in the middle of Research Park. Okay, cool, cool, cool. I like that. So now I have to walk from the Research Park train depot across the mass expanse that is Research Park. And then I've done what happens? At 1130, I go, let's go to lunch, guys. And then you're like, oh, no, now I got to walk all. Forget it. No one's doing that. This is not.
a public transportation town. You want to know who rides public transportation? Here we go. Poor people and illegal immigrants. That's who's going to ride. That's who's going to ride public transportation. Okay? That's it. And there's nothing wrong with that. The city operates it at a loss so these people can get around. Now, I would suggest the city might even be better off if they hired a bunch of bus drivers just to pick people up and had them call and ask to be picked up and dropped off places. You'd probably be better off. They're building all this infrastructure and buses and all this other stuff. You'd probably be better off. But like the journalists go to these people and you just listen to this stuff and you listen to the stuff they say and it's just so dumb. It is so stupid. I listen to like the stuff that they talk about. We need to get a north-south... train line. Really? From where? Where are we going? We go, we going from the South Huntsville Walmart to the North Huntsville Walmart. Oh boy. You should, you should mix those people. I'm sorry. We don't want it. We don't want that. We don't want, we don't want that. No, I'm just kidding. But do you really, who's going to ride that? Who's going to ride that? What is the reason? I'm sorry. I just, look, it is so stupid. And someone even said this. This is so stupid. It's funny. That's actually true. That is actually true. This is so stupid. It's funny. I didn't even see that. Look, if you need to ride the bus, it's a very helpful thing, but understand you've just given up your entire day in order to do so. Okay, that's just it. And if you don't believe me, I will remind you of the great bus race. This is a race where I put my body on the line. You remember John Henry? Remember him? He was a steel driving man. And the steam engine was going to drive the stakes in on the train. And he was like, no, I can do it myself. And then he went out and he beat the steam engine. Right? Remember that? And then he died. That was me. Okay? I am essentially the steel driving man. I engaged in a race against the bus. I went in North Huntsville. We picked a random bus stop. Went in North Huntsville. I got out of my car at that stop and I started walking towards downtown. My producer at the time got on a bus and drove it to downtown, rode it to downtown. Who do you think got there first? You did. I did. Okay? The city is not a public transportation city. Stop it. Anyway, Fox 74, I'm available for an interview. Let me know. I'll be more than happy to talk to you about the needs of public terms. And look, we're doing the same stuff everyone else does. How much money the federal government are going to give us to buy some stupid buses? Oh, a bunch? Okay, here we go. Let's go ahead and do that. That's why it exists. It's also why the federal government is broke. This all started with me trashing meteorologists, and it completely turned into like some weird public transportation rant. Anyway, when we come back, 10 with us coming up next. I don't know how we got there. I have absolutely no idea. But man, am I a talented talk show host or what? We'll be right back.
Jackson. News Talk, 7.m. 97 AM, 925 FM, WVNN. Dale Jackson here with you. I think Yaffe has finally escaped. 565. I think he's finally escaped that. I guess Yaffy'd want to train right now. Here's the question. Could Yaffy sing 10 seconds of the Quad City DJ's song Ride the Train? Any 10 seconds of the whole thing. No. Go ahead. No. That's your answer, no. That's unbelievable. Unbelievable. All right, then, that was my question for Yaffe. You guys have questions for me, so let's go ahead and get to them. It is time for 10 with him. Ten. It's time to answer the deep questions. It's 10 with him. All right, 10 questions in about 10 minutes. You guys ask them. I answer them. Politics, personal, pop culture, pro wrestling, parisocial relationships, and personal attacks. Emily, take it away. Dale, what's happening in Iran? What? It's a very... Okay? Here's what's happening in Iran. They have a bunch of people out of the streets who have had enough of the Islamic leadership. They have enough of the oppression. The economy is cratered, and they want change. And Iran, Iran, has shut off the Internet on them and is now starting to crack down on their protesters. Donald Trump has said, if you crack down on your protesters... We're going to bomb your infrastructure and your military leadership and your leadership. Iran said, oh, yeah, sounds like you're doing the work of the Jews. And I think they're hoping that that does happen. And either the Jews or we decide that we are going to do something so they can say, look at what they're doing from the outside. How could you let this happen to the lovely Iran? How could you do this? and see. There we are. That's the gist. That's it. Next question. All right. Oh, what's going to happen next? Okay, hold on. I'll tell you the rest. Here's what's going to happen next. This is going to go on for days and days and days and days. And then it will kind of peter out. And I think the regime will hold on, but it will have a less strong grip that they've had before. And it will, the wall is crumbling. It's just a question of how long it takes. Next question. Okay. Oh, no. Dale said he's okay if they literally die. How many high-calorie liberal women are about to blow a fuse right now? Well, it depends what you mean by fuse. Like a valve in their heart? Probably a lot of them. The stitches on their gastric bypass, probably a lot of them. But the fuse, I don't know. Maybe their cars can't handle the weight. Maybe they'll blow fuse there. I don't know.
I don't know the answer to that. But I will say this, I'm not okay with them dying. In fact, I would prefer they'd not die. That's sort of been my entire take here. I don't want them to die. I want them to live, and I'd like them to not be stupid so they can live longer. That, and I wish they could find a treadmill. Those are my wishes for them in the new year. Next question. Wait, are the personal attack supposed to come from me? I don't know. Is the paid protesting? Is that accounted for in the job birth sectors? What does that mean? What he's saying is Alabama has a pretty good job number-ish numbers. It's not they're not great, but they're adequate. And he's saying is some of these job growth paid protesting. I don't think so. I think the whole paid protesting thing is over is overwrought, in my opinion. I don't believe it. I never have. I think it's kind of just a way to criticize. Of the people you disagree, you're being paid to be here. No, no, no, no, no. They're just stupid. They don't have to be paid to be there. They're just doveasses, okay? All right. Next question. What does high calorie mean? Are they fat? Is he saying that their diet affects their politics? Yes, yes, and yes, okay? And then that would be yes. Yes. Is saying someone is a high calorie female is the same thing as saying they're a fat woman without getting in trouble. That's basically it. But yes, that's exactly what it means. See, you can get away with stuff if you're funny. That's just the truth. It's just the truth. You can get away with stuff if you're funny. That's why, yeah, he's always in trouble. Next question. Why does the media call what's going on in Iran a protest when mosque and government buildings are being destroyed all over that country, while also calling January 6 the full-blown insurrection seems like definitions are flexible. Well, January 6 wasn't an insurrection. There's that. I'll just remind you of that part. It's also an American term. Just by law, it's an American term, so I'm not so sure. And they are protests. They're protesting against the regime. But yes, there's a revolution underway there. That's exactly true. It's exactly true. So. There's a lot going on there. You're asking for consistency in the coverage here from people who don't even want to cover it. Okay, just keep that part in mind as well. Next question. Do you think we'll ever get to the bottom of who's funding the protesters against ICE? I think we know, but, you know, money is speech at the same time. Now, if you're funding to criminal enterprise, that's a different story, obviously. But money is speech, and that's why stuff like this is hard to go after. Next question. Was the Alabama employment growth only a fudging of the numbers due to job transfers and non-native Alabamians? No, I don't think that's true. I think we have seen a pretty solid focus on economic development and growth. We've brought a bunch of businesses in. There's more government coming here as well, so no, I don't think that's the case. Alabama's fair pretty well, especially in North Alabama. So no, I don't think that's the case. Man, everything is a conspiracy. Next, next question.
Dale, what happens to people when they are arrested by ICE in Minnesota? If they're turned over to the local police, my guess is they'll be released with no charge, no trial, no fine. Yeah, that's generally what happens. That's why you've got to hit them with federal charges. I mean, that's why that has to happen. I don't think we do that enough. So, yeah, I think you're right about that. And that's why you're seeing an influx of folks coming in here and saying, we're going to put, or an influx of federal agents, they need to charge them in federal court. That's what they need to do. That's the correct answer. If you're attacking federal law enforcement officers, you need to be charged, period. That's it. See tomorrow, bye-bye. This is The Dale Jackson Show.
