295 segmentsIt's the Dale Jackson Show, and it's only on News Talk 770 a.m. 92 5 FM WVNN. Depend on it. 770 a.m. 92.5 FM. WVN. Dale Jackson here with you gambling. Yes, that comes up an awful lot on this program. Border Security. Yes, that comes up. An awful lot on this program. What else comes up an awful lot? Oh, Minnesota for some reason continues to come up an awful lot on this program, which is... Kind of interesting, especially given the fact that now we're learning that our best buddy, the best man, the guy you want dating your daughter. This is stuff they're saying on television. I mean, ladies, I got to ask you a question. And Emily's out, so I can't really ask her this question. But does the view insult you? And I ask that seriously. I really do. Imagine the man show of Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carolla. Imagine that show existed, only they talked politics. But they talked about it in the dumbest way possible. Okay, imagine, and they did it in the most manipulative way possible for what they thought women wanted and women believed. But they did that for men. But they tried to actually discuss politics on the issue. Just imagine. Imagine they did that. How would, how would men react to that? Well, I'm going to play a clip for you, and it's going to be hard to find the right one to encapsulate this perfectly. But this is Anna Navarro of the view. And I just want you to hear this take about what's going on in Minnesota and ask yourself, does this woman have any respect for her audience, for herself, for herself, for the truth? for reality and for anything other than, I don't know, a Cuban sandwich. Does she have any respect for anything other than that? They chose to, they killed the wrong guy, right? Because this is like, this is like the perfect guy. Alex Prattie is the guy you would want to date your daughter. The guy you'd want your son to grow up to be a decent human being who was serving humanity, serving sick veterans who is, you know, there is nothing that has been said about that man that isn't wonderful. And so they can't malign him.
They can't malign him because we have the videos. Well, they can malign him. And they will malign him because now we have video of him out kicking cop cars. And you can say, well, that's not a reason to kill them. And yeah, I mean, look, as long as the broader premise that you're willing to create is that it doesn't matter what he did or any context of him doing that. It never matters. The only thing that matters is the last second of his life. That's the only thing that matters. Nothing else matters. Not a single thing matters that he did leading up to it. The only thing that matters, the sole singular thing that matters, is what happened at the end of his life. Did he deserve to be shot? And that's it. That's the question that they want you to focus on. Did he deserve to be shot? And they don't care about anything else when it comes to this. They do not care. They do not want to hear anything else when it comes to this issue. All they want to know is did he deserve to be shot? Well, the answer to that is no. No, he did not. Okay? But you have to ask yourself, Is there anything that went on outside of that that we might be somewhat interested in? And the answer to that is, well, obviously, yes. There are plenty of things that went on outside of that that we might be interested in. Like, for example, him kicking cop cars and screaming to police officers, assault me, assault me, assault me. with a handgun in his waistband a couple days before all of this went down. That you may say to yourself, well, Dale, what does that matter? To which I would say, what are you stupid? Why would you ask such a stupid question? What do you mean? What does it matter? Are you dumb? Like, by the way, that's exactly what? That's exactly what my response to you would be? If you said, well, what does it matter? Well, it matters because it shows his mindset. Not everything happens in a vacuum. As much as some of you wanted to happen in a vacuum, not everything happens in a vacuum. And you can analyze and look at all the things going on outside of these moments. And you can look at them and say, huh, this is a, this is interesting. Maybe this is a, uh, Maybe this is an interesting piece of information that we didn't have during the conversation. He's a perfect victim. He's the one you want your daughter dating. And again, I do ask this question seriously, although it sounds almost like a joke. Ladies, are you not offended? Are you not offended by this? Are you not offended by the idea that they think you are so stupid that you would be like, oh, he's so dreaming. I want him to date my daughter. I want him to date my daughter. I'm voting for that guy because he has a stronger jaw line. Not that this guy had a strong jaw line by any stretch. That's why they photoshopped him. But aren't you insulted by this? I made a bad in comparison. I'll put it this way. You remember those commercials?
I like watching football with my friends, notches that never end, and twins. Do you guys remember those? The beer commercials? Imagine if they were marketing political candidates to you that way. That's what the view is. The view is essentially a rom-com where they tried to talk to you about politics. Only everyone in the rom-com is ugly. But that's essentially it. And the insult to just your intelligence should upset you to no end. It should bother you that they are willing to do this stuff and say this stuff to you. And you're supposed to clap like seals and pretend it's somehow profound. He's the guy that you want your daughter dating. Just imagine. If someone said that to you in the real world outside of a TV bubble being fed to high-calorie females sitting on the couch, if someone said that to you in the real world, wouldn't you say to them, like, please stop talking to me? If you're not going to be serious, can you please stop talking to me? I cannot be, I cannot engage in this type of conversation in the real world. I'm sorry. I just, I have too much respect for myself to do this. And on CNN, Scott Jennings again, trying to speak sanity to an insane world and coming up completely short. Yeah, look, I think the video that we've seen adds context to what he was probably doing over a period of time. I think the narrative has been that he was just an innocent protester or some sort of an observer. It's obvious he was part of some organized effort to show up where federal law enforcement was and engage in some way, whether that engagement was recording or... blowing whistles or whatever, or in the video's case, kicking in the tail light of a car, he was obviously there to do something. That doesn't supersede the need to have an investigation of the shooting. I support an investigation of the shooting. I will say I think the investigation needs to be holistic, and I care more about... just the shooting. I care about where did Alex Prattie come from? What part of it? What group was he in? Was he part of any kind of a training organization? I mean, I think what's going on in Minneapolis is more than just random people showing up to protest. I believe, and there's lots of evidence about this, that there are well-organized, well-trained, and well-funded agitators who are showing up with the purpose of provoking these kinds of incidents so that they can then create the narrative that somehow ICE is out of control. Now, if you were watching that video of that sound clip,
The woman on the panel next to him is sitting there shaking her head with a confused look on her face. As if what was being spoken to her was being said in a foreign language. Why? Well, because as I've been telling you, 75% of Democrat political thinking. consists of them looking into a camera and going, I don't understand what's going on. What does this mean? What? Are you saying he should have been murdered in the street? Are you saying that he deserved to die because he kicked a taillight? Oh, can't believe you're saying that. To which everyone goes, no, I'm not saying that at all. What I'm saying is you shouldn't be fighting with the cops. And you shouldn't have a history of fighting with the cops. And you shouldn't seek out the cops to fight with them because bad stuff might happen. Oh, so like the Gestapo? Huh? And it's like, what is wrong with you? Why are you behaving this way? Are you mentally ill? Do you have some sort of like mental problem? Is there something wrong with you? Is your brain broken? Huh? What are you trying to say? Cops murdering people is good?
That's not my perspective. That's theirs. I, for one, am against cops, murdering people in the street. And I'm glad that you've raised that issue in a way that has made it. Seems so clear to me. So before you thought that they should kill people in the streets? And if you think that sounds ridiculous, tell me how it's different than what they're doing. Just tell me. Tell me in any way, shape, or form how it's different. Just remember, every time you talk to one of these people, every time you have to start and understand that most of their perspective is going to be, huh? What are you saying? Because I don't understand. Let's take a quick time out. 866-494 WVN. And for all my liberal friends out there, 8664-9-49866. That is the Scout Pest Control.com, WVNN, Hot Take Text Line. A text message from someone about something they read on the internet yesterday and suggesting that they have got it all figured out and that you're dumb for not agreeing with them. It's one of my favorite things. It really is. It really is. There is a, there is a, there's an email going around about voter rolls and all these other things. And it's like, did you know that? your voter rolls are actually stored in Nebraska. It's like, I mean, what does that mean? Oh, you don't know that, do you? It was like, what does it mean? Can someone, can you tell me what that means? Oh, oh, yeah. And I'm like, okay. And so I told two people this yesterday. Like, I'm not interested in hearing about what you learned about on the internet yesterday. But I am, if you'd like to share more information about this, I mean, I'm more than happy to share. So if you have any information about our representative of republic falling in Alabama or beyond, because our voter rolls are stored in Nebraska. I don't know what that means. I am more than willing to listen to it. But. Oh, I guess you're not going to talk about how our voter rules are stored in Nebraska. I'm like, I know, probably not. I'm probably not going to do that. However, if you are interested in expressing your opinion about such a thing, I'll be more than happy to hear it. But I don't know if you're not willing to talk about this is really the argument that you think it is. But please continue on to continue on. Ilhan Omar. There's a lot of talk right now about her alleged attack. And I'm going to put it to you this way about Ilhan Omar. I haven't seen enough that says that it's fake. Okay? And so I'm just going to tell you that right now. I just haven't seen enough. to look at this and be like, oh, it's a fake thing. There's just, I need to see some sort of conspiracy between the attacker and her, okay, or someone that she's close to or something like that. It is compelling, okay, in the sense that the, The item that was sprayed on her is apple cider. Okay? That's fine. Okay? What he was spraying on her was nothing. But I need to know more about this particular guy. I've read that his kids, his kids are like trans left wing nut jobs and stuff like that. I have also seen Ilhan Omar and her, I will not be cowed. You cannot make me back down. You cannot do this, which is exactly how she should respond. It's exactly how she should respond. But I'm also listening to be like, Donald Trump caused this with his rhetoric. It's like, I don't know, man. She's a bad person. Somalis are engaged in fraud.
She hates America. I mean, all those things seem to be true. Is Donald Trump not supposed to say them? Because some guy might spray vinegar at her or whatever apple cider at her? I don't know. That to me, I can look at that. I'm like, well, that's, that's, so he can't criticize her. He's not allowed at all? No, no, that's obviously stupid. You could obviously criticize her. all you want and you should that's exactly what we should we should all be hypercritical of the people we disagree with so no i'm not gonna i'm not gonna say you can't criticize someone calls for violence are wrong but criticism isn't a call for violence so i don't i haven't seen enough to say that it's fake but it's definitely trending in that direction it's the dale jackson show The Sherwin-Williams Summer Sale is here. Dale Jackson here with you. Thank you very much for joining us. Appreciate you being here. Appreciate you every day, especially appreciate our next guest. Former Congressman for the 5th Congressional District, former State House member, former DA, now candidate for State House District 20. Mo Brooks joins us. Congressman Brooks, before we jump into some state politics, did you know Ilhan Omar? Yes. Okay. What was your relationship like with her? Did you talk to her a lot? Was she nice? How was she? Well, she's like a lot of people who are in the United States Congress, who are politicians. She was very nice. She was well spoken. I knew how to present herself. And unfortunately, extraordinarily left wing. Do you think this attack, Tommy Tuberville and Donald Trump and others have suggested apple cider vinegar being sprayed at her by some random guy was maybe a staged attack to distract from her ongoing financial scandals involving a winery that doesn't really exist and other issues might be staged. She says, I'm going to stay and fight. You can't stop me. What do you think about that idea? I don't know. I don't have any evidence one way or the other that would tell me whether it was real or staged. In politics, anything is possible. I've seen lots of politicians engage in diversionary tactics designed to take the media away from something that might be unfavorable to their public relations. Whether this was a part of that, yeah, it's possible. But I can't reach a conclusion one way or the other. We'll have to wait and see. Okay, fair enough. Let's move back into the state of Alabama. A little kerfuffle yesterday. You've entered the race for state house. And one of your first salvos, I believe, was to say, hey, look, there's too much voting on other people's machines going on down there in the Alabama legislature. You said that staff? was voting on people's machines and other individuals that were voting on other machines. No, no, not staff of the legislators. Right. Not staff or the legislators. No, I got it. Staff of the legislators and other legislators were voting on machines of people who were not there and sometimes voting in contrast to where the people might normally stand and where they would normally vote. Yep. Nathaniel Ledbetter, the Speaker of the House, down there, he said, no, no, this is all overblown, and Mo Brooks is a giant failure. We'll come back to the second part, which is obviously not true about you being a failure and everything you've done. That's just false, and I don't know why he would even go down that path because it opens up an obvious avenue of attack for you, which I'm sure you're going to take. But let's talk about the voting on other people's machines. Is this something that went on while you were down there? Is it allowed by the rules? What do you want to see done here? It's not allowed by the rules, but the rules are not enforced. And it's a very common practice. In my judgment, since the move into the State House, and I was there the day that it opened, I would say easily tens of thousands of votes have been cast by legislators who are not there, perhaps hundreds of thousands.
So it's a very large number. Now, there are really two possibilities when a vote is cast for an absent legislator. Is the vote is cast consistent with how the legislator would have voted, have the legislator been there? And then you've got the other situation where... The legislator was not there and the vote was cast the opposite of the way in which the legislator would have intended and might have caused some political headache for the legislator by voting against something they don't like. I'll give you an example. I don't know if 1819 will have an article about it, but yesterday. The reporter interviewed a fellow by the name of Tommy Haynes, a retired state legislator. And he called me up after he said the article and said, what in the world? It happens a lot. I had one day where I was voting something like five or six machines all day long for every single vote. Those five or six legislators weren't there. And the Speaker of the House even kept the machines. open, didn't close the vote, kept it open. So he had time to run around voting those machines for the legislators who weren't there. Then I had another legislator, Arnold Mooney, who's down from the Shelby County area. He may have recalled I wrote an op-ed about House Bill 210, where taxpayer money was being shifted from Alabama citizens and their college costs. to foreign students, where foreign students were getting subsidized by Alabama taxpayers more than we subsidize the college tuition costs of about 98% of Americans. very bad bill to vote for. And he called me up afterwards, and he said, well, look, I'm registered as having voted yes on that bill, but I didn't. I would have voted no had I been there. I wasn't there. Someone voted my machine the exact opposite. And this got me so upset that I made a notation in the House Journal that had I been there, I would have voted no, not yes, on this bill. It's a very bad bill, particularly if you ever want to run for. re-elections. That's just two examples of folks who have personally told me that. So what would you like to see done? How do you enforce this? Do you need to change the rules of the House? Do you need to change the, can you pass a law? What do you want to see done? It's very, very simple. You just have voting machines. that only the legislator who is entitled to vote on that machine can vote on that machine. Right now there's no lockout system.
A legislator can walk by a desk and push a green button or a red button, and it shows up on the scoreboard. And that's how it's registered, even though the legislator wasn't there. So there ought to be some kind of pass key that's required so that the machine only votes when that pass key is used, or it could be a regular lockout key, like for your car, okay, where you turn the key and that opens the door or closes the door, where you could have a key system given only to the legislator whose desk it is. that turns that machine owner off, and that would make it where the machine could only vote if that legislator is using that key. Okay. So this issue is one that you want to raise here. You've raised it, and Nathaniel Ledbetter, the Speaker of the House, he's not too happy with you right now. He called you. He said you've failed at every office you've ever held. I don't know why he would say this. This is an easily debunked and pushed back on argument. I don't know why he would go about this path. What is this about? What's your relationship with Nathaniel Ledbetter? He's the Speaker of the House? What is your relationship with him? Look, it all comes down to this, Dale. When I was first elected to the legislator, I was the only legislator out of 140 elected with zero special interest political action committee money. And that is huge. I know voters don't understand it that well, but it's huge. It's huge because special interests, the big mules, the rich and powerful, they control the legislative body in Montgomery just about as well as they control it in Washington, D.C. Okay? Follow the money. You've heard the phrase before, money is the mother's milk of politics. That's what it's all about, special interests. don't want independent legislators in the legislature even any more than they want independent congressmen and senators in the House of Representatives in the U.S. Senate. And the speakers are, in effect, elected or appointed by the powerful special interests with the money that got people elected. They tell folks how to vote. And the folks who are down there, they know that they lose campaign contributions that are needed to win elections if they don't vote the way those special interests want them to vote. That's just the nature of politics. I was talking with somebody yesterday about, I was talking with somebody about this yesterday, that the framing of Mo Brooks versus Montgomery is not going to hurt Mo Brooks. But that seems to how this whole thing is going to shape up. Is that what you think is going to happen here? I think they just handed me the election. I think it was a very bad tactical error on their part. Now, from a personal perspective, And here I am announcing for office. I don't mention my opponent at all. 60 seconds. And I, and a garbage truck comes up and dumps a full load on my front lot. I'm not very happy about it.
But it's not a smart move by the opposition. It shows tremendous weakness. And so my opponent and his surrogates are going to do everything they can to try to diminish my reputation in House District 20, a reputation that has resulted in me getting roughly on average, 70% of the vote in every election I've ever had. Yeah, I don't understand the strategy here either to fight this way. I don't get it. This race is going to be interesting, and I'll follow on the whole thing. Mo Brooks. Thank you very much, the former congressman from the 5th Congressional District running for House 20 in the State House in 26 and the primary of the election is in May of this year. That's when the primary is. And I think this is going to be one of the more hotly contested talked about. debated races in this election cycle, at least in the primary side of it. So thank you very much. And all the blood is going to be in the primary anyway. So thank you very much to Congressman Mo Brooks for being here. We will definitely talk with him soon. I am Dale Jackson. This is WVNN. We continue next. Dale Jackson.
coverage of different races here and there. And all you have to do is look at this. The establishment, Montgomery versus candidate, it doesn't usually work out for Montgomery, depending on how hard they're willing to go. Barry Moore is a perfect example of that. Former State Senator Paul Sanford, another one. If I had a dollar for every time somebody would say, well, the people down to Montgomery, they just don't like Paul Sanford. I'm like, yeah, I know. Do you guys think that really hurts him? I just don't know if that's necessarily the case. But there we go. So that is where we are. So that race in District 20 up here should be very interesting because it's going to be covered by. A lot of people who might be better off leaving it to the people in that district to decide what they're going to do. All right, moving on, let's bring on our good friend Matt Curtis joins us here on the Alabama A&M $30 million bulldog hotline. You know about Matt Curtis. You hear about Matt Curtis all the time. That's Matt Curtis at real estate.com. I read yesterday, Matt, and we had talked about this last week, so it kind of jumped in my head that there were 19 apartment complexes built. in North Alabama. I think he actually said Huntsville. I may be wrong about that. In Huntsville last year and 3,000 new units coming online this year. Do those numbers track for you? Those numbers did not track before those apartments were built. So they definitely don't track with the additional units. So it's going to be a while before the Rocket City catches up to that supply gap or that additional supply that we have in terms of need. We're seeing that on single family rentals. We're seeing that apartment complexes. I've heard of apartment complexes even offering free like six months of free rent. So. It is way too much to oversupply. I'm also hearing rumors that some of these apartment complexes are going to be, their owners are going to be filed on bankruptcy. So not a good trend in terms of rental houses right now. Yeah, the exact numbers were this. I have it right in front of me. 19 apartment complexes opened in Huntsville in 2025. 3,257 more units now under construction. That is 14 more complexes. Currently under construction and an additional 780 have been approved by the Planning Commission. So the amount of human beings that will be required to fill those apartments, it's a pretty significant number. And on top of that, you have houses being built, neighborhoods being built. All sorts of stuff going on. I mean, do we need like a moratorium on construction? I'm not actually suggesting that seriously, but it just really seems strange. And I did not know this. Here's another interesting number here for you. Only 1,914 residential dwellings were issued building permits. Of these 976 of them were single family units.
938 were multifamily. Does that mean individual houses? That's not talking about apartments. That's obviously houses. That's how many houses we're building? Yeah, it's talking about single family homes. So I think you're on to something in terms of the moratorium for at least apartment complex building. On the residential side, we're actually looking really healthy. We have four months worth of supply. Typically, when you're looking four to six months worth of supply, that's considered a balanced market. So things are looking good there. We saw a 9% increase, our increase in pending sales in December. Our team has actually seen a 30% increase in sales in January. Interest rates coming down, all those bond buybacks that Trump is doing, $300 billion worth of bond buybacks, seems to be helping with interest rates. We're seeing interest rates in the high fives. Even heard of government loans in the mid-five, that seems to really be moving the needle, which won't be good for these apartment complexes as more people move out of apartment complexes and into single-family homes. Correct. And as you said, the multiple months of no rent. That is, that's an interesting start. Let's go back to that for a second. Six months, no rent. That's wild. Is that coming with like a two-year lease? I mean, what are we talking about here? You know, when you see that, they definitely try to make it up on the back end. They're probably trying to get leases on paper to get the banks off of their backs. You're definitely going to see higher rent later on. So there's no such thing as free rent. But, I mean, you're going to see, you're going to see them try to lock people in for longer terms is what you're going to see in those type of situation. So it is. It is really interesting. Yeah, I don't know that I would sign that type of lease because, you know, you saw the situation in Madison where the landlord didn't even pay their water bill and people had to move out as a result. So if they're not collecting any income, that's not a, that's not a good thing for you as a tenant either. Yeah. They're trying to entice there. I'm kind of worried about all these apartments being built. Is there? Some population boom that's going to happen is the space command? Like is there going to be a switch turned where a bunch of people show up and fill these these things or what? Well, I hope somebody in the government is counting those numbers and then has a plan for it. Unfortunately, I don't know that they're on top of it like they should be. So I think somebody needs to be held accountable. Somebody needs to be looking at these numbers because I definitely think there is a day of reckoning. Now, Huntsville is booming. There's going to continue to be a lot of people come to the area. But it's going to be quite some time before we see that kind of numbers to fill all these apartment complexes.
There we go. Matt Curtis, the Matt Curtis real estate team. Always appreciate him coming on and speaking with us and having these conversations. It's important that we do just that because one day we're going to be looking at a bunch of apartments and going, what is this? This is going to turn into condos? Okay, maybe that's the case. Matt Curtis. Thank you very much. Matt Curtis, real estate.com. Talk to that guy today. If you're getting ready to sell your home, that guy understands it and he will help you. I want to get your thoughts on this. Not Matt Curtis, obviously. Let's let's let's let's go. I want to get the listener's thoughts on this. And I think it's interesting because I think these numbers are worth looking at. But you've got to look at them honestly. Okay? This is my problem that I have with a lot that is being said here. Okay? Here it is. This was shared with me. I'm not going to feed it into a British robot guy. Bill Clinton deported 12.5 million. There were zero protests. Bush deported 10 million. There were zero protests. Obama deported 5.2 million. There were zero protest. Biden deported 7 million. There were zero protest. And Trump deported 1.2 million. And then there have been thousands of protests all whipped up by our friends in the media. Okay, listen, let me be clear about this. Okay, I think we have completely married these numbers altogether where they don't go. So I'm just going to make this as clear as I possibly can for people who are sending me this. 90 plus percent. of all these deportations by these other guys were done at the border, meaning turning people away. There was no interior enforcement like we're seeing here. That's what the issue is. The issue is interior focus. That's what it's about. And you weren't seeing that in other places. Plus, you know, he's a Republican, so that plays a role. Plus he's Donald Trump, so that plays a role as well. But that's the difference in those numbers. So just remember when you're sharing that about it. This is The Dale Jackson Show. Hey, I'm Chris Van Fleet. We're going to take it. Now, I'm not saying that our friends in the media are lying to you. I'm just saying if they were intentionally lying to you, what would they be saying that was different than what they're doing right now? Well, we'll get into all of that here in just a second. So please keep it locked right here. I am Dale Jackson, Alabama's most trusted journalist. It's eight after the hour. It's time to remind you about Matt Curtis and the Matt Curtis Real Estate team. Matt Curtis, real estate.com. Let that guy help you out today. Matt Curtis, real estate.com. What do I mean by their, I'm not saying they're lying to you, but if they were, how would they be doing things differently? Well. Watch as every single story they tell about some awful wrong being committed against an American citizen, an illegal immigrant, a drug dealer, a child rapist, whatever. Look at every single one they try to sell you and then look how it falls apart. Just in the last week alone. Alex Preti, he's the guy you want your daughter to date. I always say, I hope my daughter dates someone who kicks cop cars and screams, assault me bitch at law enforcement officers with a handgun in his waistband. I always, it's the American dream. It's what everyone always says. And yes, also the story about the young Somali lady. who said that she was hit with clubs and called the N-word by police officers and ICE. Well, turns out she spit on cops and was handcuffed without incident. So that was a lie. The five-year-old being arrested, that was a lie. The new story they're telling right now is that they deported a child. And in a U.S. citizen child. And in reality, they deported the mother and the mother took the child with them. Every story they're telling is a lie. Or they're ignorant and they don't know that they're lying. But honestly, I think we know what's actually happening. They're telling lies. They know they're telling lies. And they want you to believe them. So they just try to flood the zone with lies. It's just ridiculous. So when people start questioning the official narrative. Don't wonder why it happened. Look at Fulton County right now. Donald Trump goes in and the Trump administration goes and sees his ballots. Six years after 2020. And they had to get a court order and they had to get the DOJ involved in order to do it. He's going to be right in that situation too. It's unbelievable. Unbelievable. And remember even questioning it was like a hate crime. Journalists against journalism. That's one way you can frame it. And also, I don't understand, which is basically everything else that they do. Anyway, we got to get into the seven things you should be talking about today. That, of course, brought to you by two men in a truck. I love two men in a truck.
You'll love them too. You'll get more than two men in a truck, a whole lot more. You get two men a truck and more. Yes, they'll move it. They'll pack it up. They will stage it when it gets where it's going. Yes, they will do all of that stuff for you and you'll be happy that they did. Two men truck will do it faster, better, better price, and easier than anyone else. They will notice the grandma rule. Treat everyone the way you'd want your grandma to be treated. I want her treated well. You should want her treated well as well. And they can do it. They do it well. Yeah, talk to them today. Two Men in a Truck Huntsville.com. All right, we got a lot to get into. We got a lot to talk about. So let's do it. It is time for the often duplicated, never replicated the most critically acclaimed segment here. On The Dale Jackson Show, brought to you by Alabama's most trusted journalist. It's the seven things you should be talking about today. Now time for the seven things you'll be talking about today. Number seven. The governor-elect, national championship winning coach, United States Senator Tommy Tuberville has expressed. skepticism about the legitimacy of an attack on U.S. Representative Ilhan Omar out of Minnesota. She came under fire over some of her finances and other things. And then someone stood up and sprayed apple cider vinegar at her, which I've been told. is what heroin smells like. I didn't know that. It would have no way of knowing that. I just put that in my veins. I'm joking. But yes, you've heard this, that there's a lot of questions about exactly what's going on here and what the purpose of this attack is. So Tommy Tuberville's questioning it. I don't know. It makes me uncomfortable unless you have something that proves this is some sort of scam. You shouldn't really be saying this stuff. Same thing with Donald Trump was never really shot. Nonsense. Number six. So what's a Trump endorsement worth? Well, a lot. Former ALGOP chairman John Wall reported that his campaign for lieutenant governor has raised more than $1 million. within a day of the official announcement. Now, that's early financial support, especially for a position that I hate to say this, I think Lieutenant Governor Willeyesworth has done a great job being an advocate for the things he believes in. But... The position is not really a position of immense power, but a million dollars raised, that shows the power of that Donald Trump endorsement. And I think there's a couple different races around the state where that endorsement could play a pretty heavy role in everything going on in these particular races. And I much rather have it than not have it. That's obvious. How much is Trump going to play here?
Number five. Well, another guy got that endorsement. You may know him. His U.S. Representative Barry Moore, Republican out of Enterprise, got the Trump endorsement. And that endorsement helped him pick up some endorsements from other United States Senate. Well, a United States senator, excuse me, not other. But United States Senator Cynthia Loomis out of Wyoming. Now, you may say yourself, Dale, who the hell cares? Right? Okay, great. That is what it is. Here's what it matters. With the support of establishment of Washington or establishment Republicans or elected Republicans, however you want to frame these, that comes with it some institutional support. That comes with it, some fundraising opportunities. And you've got to raise money in order to win races, even Republican primaries. There's a lot of money in this Republican, the United States Senate race. I'm going to start getting some ads up on the Dale Jackson show, just saying. Number four. U.S. Education Secretary Linda McMahon. hailed Alabama for answering the Trump administration's call by expanding school choice options, including voucher programs, tax incentives, and things like that. Also, for pushing parental rights initiatives as national models for education reform and empowerment as the Trump administration pushes for more school choice options. And yeah, I think that that is exactly what we should be doing. Any opportunity we have to expand opportunities for children, we should do it. What I like Linda McMahon to be commenting on is the Alabama High School Athletic Association's attempts to put their thumb on the scale by using football players and others, just kidding, just football players in order to try to scuttle school choice in Alabama. They're going to fail. They're going to hurt themselves. Number three. An Alabama immigration bill expanding local police powers won Alabama State House Committee approval. So that Alabama State House Committee approved this. It will move on to the next level. What this would do would grant more authority for enforcement and federal cooperation. But, well, we're doing that. Minnesota's heading in the opposite direction. And now President Donald Trump is warning Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey that he is, quote, playing with fire. You're playing with fire? Nobody get burned. Some say it burns a bit. Sometimes it burns so bad. But anyway, you're playing with fire after an immigration enforcement conversation was followed by Frey defying calls to cooperate. You can say that, but you know what I've seen? I've seen cooperation. I've seen a demoralized resistance over the last day or so. Number two. Alabama State Senate leaders and Alabama State House leader, so Alabama leaders, Speaker of the House, Speaker of the Alabama State House, Nathaniel Ledbetter, and the State Senate pro Tim Carlin Cudgers say, hey, hey, hey.
Guys might want to calm down on this whole gambling thing. This is not going to be what you think it's going to be. You need to chill out. So yeah, your expectation for gambling in 2026? The votes really don't exist at this one. We got lobbying and discussions. Significant hurdles remain for legalization. By the way, next month I'm going to show you how easy it is to actually gamble in the state of Alabama. We need to do something about this for the next month of February. I will be placing a $50 prediction market bet every single day. And we'll see where we end up at the end of the month because, well, it's not regulated in any way, shape, or form. It's easily done, and I'm going to show you how. No. Time for the number one thing you'll be talking about today. Governor-elect National Championship winning coach, United States Senator Tommy Tuberville warned that another Democrat-led government shutdown looms over proposed DHS funding tied to demands over immigration enforcement. You stupid, ignorant, idiots. Listen to me. I'm not talking about Tommy Tuberville. I'm talking about the folks on the left and people in the media. ICE is already funded until 2029. If you shut down the government, ICE and DHS just keep right on trucking. Okay, it doesn't matter if you remove funding there. You're not going to get it passed. I live with someone who works in the federal government, and they think a government shut down is coming. I think a government shut down is coming. And they want to have this fight? Chuck Schumer's saying he wants to have this fight. Okay, have the fight. And while you're having that fight, guess what's going to happen? Immigration enforcement in Minnesota. Yeah, that's right. The immigration enforcement is going to continue. The headline of the AP, Democrats poised to trigger government shutdown if White House won't meet demands for ICE reform. What reform do they want? The reform that they want is that ICE does not enforce the law. That's not going to happen. It's not going to happen. You're going to get a government shutdown that could be triggered here eminently. Can I speak honestly for a second? I don't care. Okay. Okay. Do it. Shut it down. I don't give a damn. I really don't care. Go ahead. Play the game. Roll the dice. Speaking of rolling the dice, we're going to roll the dice right here. We're going to take a quick timeout.
And when we come back, we're going to probably join a little bit of this Tom Homan press conference that's about to start. So stay tuned right here. You can also weigh and get your questions in for 10 with him, get your nasty comments in, including a hilarious comment from some loser who's like, stop texting me in the morning. You can also jump in right here on the Coleman Furniture Market Free Speech phone lines, 866494. WVNN. Let's take a time out. We shall return. Get WBNN's Dale Jackson seven things you should be talking about today. Right in your email box every morning. Go to YellowhammerNews.com and sign up today. 225 FMWVNN. Dale Jackson here. Hey, we're going to check in here real quick and see what borders are. Tom Homan is saying about Minnesota. Okay, so stay with us here. Allison, and he has clarified from me that county jails may notify ICE of the release dates of criminal public safety risks. So ICE can take custody of them. Upon the release from the jail. And let me tell you why that's important. I know people are a lot of concern, but the manpower has been sent in law enforcement manpower. Look, I've said this many times before. I've said it for the last several years. Give us access to the illegal, alien public safety threat and the safety and security of a jail. It's common sense. It's safer for the community. It's safer for the agent. And they're safer for the alien. Because anything will happen on the street arrest. It just made common sense. And for the people to argue, well, we're welcoming community, because we want victims and witnesses of crime that are here illegally to feel safe to come to police without fear they're working with ICE? We're not going to talk to the victim and witness a crime. There's no problem there. They should feel safe to come to the police and ask for help. All we want is to talk to the person that local and state law enforcement authorities locked in a jail cell. They chose to lock this person up. That's who we want to talk to, the public safety trap. So the argument is that protects victim witnesses of crime? It's a bunch of crap. Victims and witnesses of crime don't want the bad guy back to their neighborhood either. It's actually a really good point, and I don't think there's any question about it. You have people who make the argument that illegal immigrants won't talk to the police because they're afraid they're going to be deported. There's no evidence of that ever happening. I'm an illegal immigrant and I was assaulted by this person. Well, it looks like you're getting put out of the country. It just doesn't happen. It's just a fake story. A bunch of crap, as Tom Homan says. So I'm glad Minnesota is saying that they might actually start participating there. And that's good. That's good. By the way, if you're in Minnesota, you're a protester, a way to lose, stupid idiots. So great progress were there with the attorney general and local sheriffs.
And one thing, when we have these agreements, it takes less law enforcement agents to do the job. One agent can arrest one bad guy in the safety and security of a jail where he's behind the wire. We know we don't have weapons. But when you only release that public safety threat illegal alien back in the community, we have a job to do. We're going to arrest him. So we're going to find them. And what happens is now we've got to arrest somebody on his turf. We have access to who knows what weapons. Now we've got to send the whole team out. Covered back door, cover the front door, officer safety reasons. Then because of the hateful rhetoric and the attacks on ICE officers, now we've got to send a security team behind the arrest team. So what could have been done with one person in the safety and security jail? Now we've got 15, 16 people all they're doing it. I know that causes stress in the community. So if we get these agreements in place, it means less agents on the street. I've been saying this for, I'm not suggesting I'm like some sort of profound sue say or something like this. I'm not suggesting that. I'm just saying this has been being said from the beginning. You wouldn't have as many people out there if you just let them take people from the jail. And now you're having all these other interactions for absolutely no reason. And now after two dead morons, and that's what they are, they're tragic deaths. Stupid people dying is still tragic. Don't get me wrong. I'm not a monster on the left who suggests that people I disagree with deserve to die. But even... These people are going to have to understand that they wouldn't be dead if they would just hand people over at the jail and let them start their deportation proceedings. It wouldn't be happening. You wouldn't be having raids and all these other things. Oh, they're going after more than the worst of the worst. No, you're making them interact with people that aren't the worst of the worst. This is your fault. Stay tuned. This is The Dale Jackson Show.
Dale Jackson here with you. Thank you very much for joining us. Tom Homan saying he is staying until the issue is resolved there in Minnesota. The state of Minnesota deciding that they are going to at least allow in some way, shape, or form law enforcement, access to prisons in order to deal with illegal immigrants. That was part of this issue. You're still seeing Jacob Frey say, I'm not doing that. That's fine. So they can continue with what they're doing. But this is not a convoluted conversation that people should be trying to navigate through. It seems pretty simple to deal with. We'll talk about an immigration bill working its way through the Alabama legislature here just a second with Sam Gavan, who's going to join us on the Alabama A&M, $350 million bulldog hotline. Learn more about Alabama A&M and what they can do for you in your community. AAMU.edu, $350 million. That's the economic impact on Alabama yearly from Alabama. A&M. So we'll talk with Sam Gavann here, my state senator, in just one moment. But let me remind you get your questions in for 10 with him and others. I'm sorry, I've been kind of negligent of the text today. There you go. We'll get to that in a second. 866 494 WVNN. That's the ScoutPest Control.com, WVNN, hot take text line, and the Coleman Furniture Market Free Speech phone lines are open 866494-9866. You know, Emily's not here, so I guess I haven't had time to comb through the text messages. So excuse me for that. Let's bring Sam Kavan on the line with us. My state senator joins us. Senator Kavan, let's talk about voting on people's machines. And I know, I know. There's the House of the Senator different and all these other things. I get it. Mo Brooks has raised this issue. said staff was voting on the machines sometimes in lieu of the legislators. I've had multiple lobbyists and elected officials say, that's not true. Why is Mo saying something that's not true? What are your thoughts on this? I've sometimes walked down to the House floor. I'm saying voting when I do that. I don't think I'm out here the beeping of the votes being locked in, but I never paid attention to who's doing what. I've never heard of a, I mean, I have heard of a member voting another member's machine with permission. But, and even, you know, voting the opposite way of where that member voted because they voted the members will. I'm just covering for them, but I've never heard of a staff situation like that. Okay, so this is, I think, a little troubling to me. Like, the part that bothers me the most, and I think we've discussed this before, maybe not you and I, but this has been discussed before, people who vote in contrast to where the individual would prefer they vote, how they vote.
That is a... No, no, no. I missed... Maybe I didn't articulate that very well. But, in other words, House member A is for Bill. They vote their machine, yes. House member B is against it, and they vote House member B's machine. No. Okay, okay. I'm not saying that they vote them. Okay. I'm saying what they would do is they're true. I mean, it's because, you know, they're just... I mean, that's what's allowed there in completion of practice. I mean, we're a gentleman's agreement. I'll vote your machine the way you want me to, even though I disagree with you. Is that the gist? Right. Okay. So that seems to be what most people are saying. Congressman Brooks related story where the opposite happened, where someone voted the wrong way on the machine. Do people care about this? I mean, this is what this looks like to me. And I'll just tell you this. I'm not trying to get you involved in this House District 20 race, even though we're discussing. No, thank you. as we're discussing it. But it just, to me, it strikes me as as odd that, you know, this is just sort of like government doesn't work the way it probably should. We need to change the people who are down there. That seems to be Mo's argument here in his return to politics. And that seems to be what the crux of this is. Is that, I mean, that message is, it resonates because everyone says government's broken even when their people are in charge. It's kind of like schools. No one's happy with the schools, even when they're great. You know, there's that sort of side to it. Is that a fair way to put this? I mean, your predecessor. People would tell me all the time. State Senator Paul Sanford. People in Montgomery don't like him. It's a problem. And I would be like, not for him. It's not. I mean, that's not a problem for him. It's not a problem for his voters telling me that other elected officials don't like my guy. I don't think that that's ever hurt somebody, has it? I don't think so. I mean, you know, look, I had people ask me to run against Paul, and I first told him never again. Yeah, you already beat you once, right? That's right. That's right. I had that whipped tail. They won't any more of it. And then I had people ask me to run against Moe when he was a congressman. And I kind of have the same answer. I said, I don't think my voting records are going to be. um we're materially different than theirs but it's just i mean i think part of it's just style and you know what people expect and i don't know it's it's um but that's a race i don't want any part of my friends are running against each other i don't like it when my friends are beating up on each other it makes it very uncomfortable for me i'm a lawyer i fight for a living but i don't you know um
I don't like it when I've never liked it when my friends fight. Okay, well, I think your Thursday mornings are going to get more uncomfortable for the next couple of. Thank you very much. All right, let's talk about what something going on there. Garland Gudger and Nathaniel Ledbetter at the Yellowhammer event down in Montgomery, both sort of gave the standard Alabama Republican answer on gambling. And it is, there's a conversation, but there's just not enough. you know movement here we we could discuss it but it just doesn't seem like there's the votes you know and there's this whole like oh shucks you know we people really want to do this but we just don't have I mean is that where it still is it's just like hey look it's it's this giant thing that's hanging around but nobody has the the desire or gumption or whatever you want to call it to kind of just move this thing forward so we'll just keep it dangling out there is that fair to say the gambling that's where it is this year I mean, again, it's not going to move. The votes aren't there. But I don't think anybody's even talking about it. I mean, if there's a bill drafted, I mean, they probably, you know, maybe one sitting in a hopper that they did last year, you know, that somebody might slap out there at some point, but there's not going to be, it's not going to, it's not ever going to see the floor in my judgment in the Senate. Okay, so there's a new type of gambling called Prediction Market out there, and it is available in every state, and I'm going to start doing it next month. I'm going to vote. I'm going to put a $50 bet down every day. We're discussing on the radio. I'll go through what we're going to do. We'll see where we're at the end. But you can bet point spreads. You can bet everything. It's gambling. It's sports gambling. It's all those things. There's two frames of thought, and I have... I have one very distinct frame of thought, and then there's the other one. My frame of thought is, this should be illegal. And it shouldn't be allowed. And I think Alabama should tighten its laws. The other frame of thought, and my friends at Yellowhammer seemed to kind of be pushing this in that world. And it was pushed by one of the sports hosts there at Yellowhammer was sports gambling is already here, dumbdums. Why don't you get the money? You stupid idiots? Why do you guys be so stupid? And I'm paraphrasing, of course. But. It's out there. It's happening. It shouldn't be happening. It's illegal. Shouldn't the thing to do be to be like, hey, these prediction markets shouldn't be able to operate this way in Alabama. They found a way around the law. And it's not to widen. The answer shouldn't be to widen the loophole. It should be to punish the people exploiting it. I don't disagree with that, Dale. But, I mean, I hear all the time that, you know, people will hold up their phone and go sports bet it's here. We're just not making any money on it. I think there's.
Some truth to that, you can look at, well, I don't, I mean, it's all, you know, whatever, there's, they say there's. There's lies, there's dang lies, and then there's statistics. But, I mean, I've seen statistics and just around the sports betting, around the state's borders, you know, from cell phone pings. And apparently there's a place somewhere up on 231, 431, where, you know, your hazel rings. You don't have to actually go all the way into Tennessee. You can just get close enough to we can ping off that tower and make your bets and then turn around and go home. That is, whoever? Whoever told you that is a degenerate. It needs help. Okay? I'm just telling you, whoever figured that out? No, no. I've seen the, I've seen the, well, maybe so, but I've seen the heat map or whatever you want to call it to show all the activity up in North Madison County. That is amazing. That is an amazing piece of information. It's, um. Once you get to you know into Tennessee it's legal and I think I think it's legal in all the states around us and so it's you know I don't but the thing I keep hearing though is we're not talking about big money there and as far as loss opportunity cost revenue, if you will. And the concerns are, you know, especially with young men, apparently, the addiction for gambling. And that's the concern. Yes. I'm telling you. I mean, it's more than that. Senator Gavan, I'm going to tell you this right now. We only got a couple minutes left here. I don't want to spend the whole time on this, but I'm going to. Loot boxes and video games now is gambling. It's ingraining it into the kids, what gambling is. Grind away, get this many points. You can buy this box. Maybe this is the term. Buy this box. It spins. It does all the stuff. And then it flashes up all the potential things you can win. And then you get the little crappy item. I'm like, oh, if I could have kept grinding, I get the big item. Like that's sort of like what's going on. Sports, I tell the story all the time. Grant and I sat down to watch a football game. We watched the eight minutes of the pregame up until that game. There were 11 gambling references in the eight minutes we were sitting there. I was blown away. And it's just like this is going to be a problem. And it's already going to be one. But the easier it is, the bigger problem is going to be. I know I'm standing on the train tracks. I'm going to get ran over. That is what it is. I get it. I know it's coming. So it's either regulate it or kill it. Those are the two options. And I'm somewhat of a hypocrite on this. But I think that makes me the most honest advocate against it.
personally. So maybe that's just me. Last thing, immigration enforcement in Alabama. There's a bill, I think it was in the state house, move forward in a committee, said, hey, give local authorities a little more power to do this kind of stuff. Any roadblocks on that coming up in the Senate? I don't know why they need any help. I mean, we're not the problem. I mean, of course, I get a few emails saying, oh, stop ICE. I'm like, well, federal agencies, there's a thing called a supremacy clause. You know, and I just, you know, don't bother replying to those. But I don't, I mean, you can't make, let's pick on, I'm just going to pick on Montgomery. 40 seconds. I'm here now. You know, if Montgomery doesn't want to help ICE. then they're not going to help ICE. And I don't care what law we pass on that. So, you know, I don't know. I'd have to see the bill to know whether they're adding real teeth. Okay, fair enough. We'll talk about it next week. There we go. State Senator Sam Cavan, my state senator, joins us here on the Alabama A&M $350 million Bulldog Hotline. We'll talk a little bit more about all of these things. And yes, by the way, I'm acknowledging. hypocrisy on gambling is a thing. I mean, I love Vegas. I love sports gambling. I love all this stuff. But I like drinking, too, and I'm not going to give grant a beer. Okay? I mean, that's just as simple as I can put it. So I'm sorry. That's where I'm at. Maybe it makes me a hypocrite. Well, it absolutely does. We'll be right. Dale Jackson.
All right, so a lot of you are calling out my hypocrisy. And let me, again, listen, I can't be the first person to call myself a hypocrite and then somebody go, oh, yeah? Well, you're being a hypocrite. Because my response to that is, uh, yeah. I mean, I'm sorry, Bugsie, help me out here. Have I, have I, have I tried to hide my hand on this gambling stuff at all? No. I think I've been insanely blunt about it. Okay? I love going to Vegas. I love gambling. I like sports gambling. But I also know that it's a problem. You won't let me gamble, so. That's true. That was a conversation we had the other day. Yes. And it's just like, guys, I'm. I'm just being a realist here, okay? I don't want these things proliferating in our state. I don't think that's for the best. But here it is. It's already here. So there are one of two options that the state needs to take. The state needs to take option one outright ban it almost in the same way we do pornography. We're like you have for certain sites. of a certain size, you have to show ID and then you're like, oh, then we'll just cut off the site now. It's like, okay, cool, we accept your, we accept your terms. That's awesome. Thank you. Okay, those are, that's one option. The other option is regulated. But you can't, in my opinion, as state legislators, you can't be like, oh, well. They've come and got us through the back door, so we're just going to leave that back door open. If a criminal bust in your back door, you don't let him stay in your house. You kick his ass and you throw him out the door. Okay, that's it. Those are the options. And some people have been critical of me, like, oh, you're going to show people how to gamble? No, I'm not going to show me how to gamble. I'm going to show you how easy it is to gamble. How you can bet on anything? They've opened the door so wide in this, not just the state, but they've manipulated it through prediction markets. They have opened it up through prediction markets, and those prediction markets basically say that you may. If you are so inclined, you can bet on all these little different things and different angles. But yeah, you can also bet on straight up points. You can bet on straight up points. And I'm sorry. Just to me, I find it to be just an absolutely hilarious thing to look at this and wonder, is this the best move for the state. Is this the best move for the state? And the answer to that is, probably not. Because it's so easy. It is so easy. And I'm not a big fan of any of this that's going on right now. I'm not a big fan of any of this. And I just got set a picture of that heat map and it's legit.
It is legit. The heat map is real. And it shows that you can drive up somewhere in Newmarket and plop there on your phone and start gambling. Now, believe it or not, there are people who gamble on their phone are like roulette. And I'm like, what are you doing? For money, you're betting roulette? Like anything, like these online casinos, I don't understand the online casinos. Because the online casino, I mean, how do you not rig that? How do you not rigging? You're playing against a riged house already at a casino. It's just zeros and ones. But people are doing that, thinking they're going to win. Here's a thought. I would implore the Christians in our state Congress that gambling is a sin as Jesus flipped the tables over saying you cannot love money in God, ergo, ill-gotten gain. Hold the line and keep saying no. But they're not saying no. I mean, do you not understand that? By doing nothing, it is essentially allowing it. There's a reason why draft kings and polymarket and all these other things have bought into prediction markets. Because they're getting around laws that do not allow. Like Congress base, or I guess it was a Supreme Court ruling, basically said states can allow this. And basically states can do this if they want. And essentially you have to work to stop it. And not working to stop it basically is allowing it. What is the saying that our boss says here? If you allow it, you promote it. That's truly true. If you allow it, you promote it. And to me, I just, I don't know. I just look at this kind of stuff and I wonder, like, why are we even allowing this kind of stuff and why are we moving in this path? Dale, the real reason you're a hypocrite is you give Emily Heck for screwing up the comment section. Yeah, I guess I didn't tell you that the comment section comes alive today, did I? Well. Emily's not here. So that's probably the reason why that happened. But yeah, I agree with you. I sincerely apologize for that. Did she put up a new comment section? She didn't. So that I give her, give her crap again. It's on her. It's on her. It's not on me that I just completely forgot about it. You guys have no idea. But let me just tell you something. You guys have no idea. But usually she's sitting right behind me going, it's in my ear the entire time. So that's usually how it happens. So in this case, you are correct. Okay. You are correct. And that is exactly right. I did forget that. So I, yes, I give my, now I'm now giving myself crap for that. Okay. So I apologize.
Omission makes them not lose voters who are either for or against gambling. No vote record. That's fine. And I don't, I'm not even one of these guys like, we should expand gambling. We need to get that revenue. I don't care that the government's not getting revenue to do stuff I don't want them to do. I don't, I'm sorry. I just, oh, the government needs this money. I was like, why do I care about this? That is not, that is not compelling to me. We have to tax it so the state can have the money. It's like, I don't know. I'm not a legislator who has to do budgeting. I don't care about that. I just think it's bad that we let them slip in here. My bad. Sorry. You're listening to the Dale Jackson Show. Scrolling with Haley, join Haley Caronea as she scrolls through the biggest headlines. If you haven't watched this show before, we do blind reactions. It's live, it's local. It's the Dale Jackson Show. And it's only on News Talk 770 AM, 925 FMWVNN. Depend on it. Did they bend the knee? Who am I talking about? Who am I talking about? Dale Jackson here at WVN. Did they bend the knee? Jacob Frye, Tim Walz. Did they bend the knee to Trump? Or are you saying to trump them at the knee? That's it. Those are the two. Both sides are saying the other side, bend the knee. And I'm like, did they? Did they? I mean, I don't think that they did. I'm sorry. I just don't just looking at this. I'm just like, is that what's happening? I don't think that's what's going on. The headline on CNN, drawdown plans for ICE in Minnesota. They're really trying to save face on this. They are really trying to save face here. I don't think that's going to work. The mob is mad. Anything short of like attacking federal agents and throwing them out of the state. is going to be seen as a capitulation by the mob. That's how I view. What do you think about that? I agree. And I'm seeing some conservatives and Republicans say, oh, we need a pause here. We need a tone down. I'm like, no. then you are just caving to the mob. Yeah, there's no need for a pause. That is that is nonsense. There is no need for a pause. The only thing that we should be doing is pushing further. That's it. I mean, they really have no stroke here. None. They have no stroke. They can't do anything with the funding and budgets and things like that. They cannot do it. Okay? They just cannot do it. And they find themselves in a place where they're completely boned. It's funded until 2029. Okay, DHS and ICE are funded until 2029. The end. And so you can shut down the government all you want. My wife won't go to work for a couple days. She's still going to get paid. Those baseboards need cleaning. You win the baseboards. Are they that bad? I just don't like the way they look. I got to get replaced. I got a bonus coming. I'm going to use that for baseboards. That's what I'm going to do. That is an elitist statement if I ever heard one. What is that? What do you mean by that? You get a bonus and your first thought is, let's redo the baseboards. I mean. I'm sorry, I don't let my kid drawl over the walls. I care about how my house looks. All right, we got a lot to get into. Tell us now. It's time for hate at eight. Now if any of you's got anything else to say, now the time. Yes, now is the time. Now is the place. Let that hate flow through you. A lot here happening. Emily's out, kind of hating on that. Bugsy, what are you hating on? Because Emily is out, I've got a stupid hate today, just in honor of Emily and her hysteria. I'm hating on just most semi-truck drivers, or I guess all of the ones that have ever spent more than maybe, I guess, 10 seconds in the left lane. This morning I almost died like three times because this one guy just kept trying to pass people in the left lane. And eventually I ended up just passing the guy going like 100 because he was going like 90, the truck driver. And I don't know what it is, but just recently there have been so many semis just staying in the left lane on highways. It is just, it's, I hate it. I almost missed the exit on 565, and I need to figure out. the 65 to 565. The truck almost cut me off for it. And I think he just did out of spite. I got to get, like, some weaponry in my vehicle. No, just get those, the things on your tires, the big spikes. Yes, yes. That's the correct. Or, like, Inspector Gadgett. Remember the cartoon where the car can, like, go over other cars? Yeah, just do that. You go, Go, Gadget, your car over. It's fine. I'll get you next time, Gadget. Listen, did you guys know that? Dr. Claw was eventually unmasked. I saw this. Not in the TV show or the movies or anything. He was unmasked in the toy because on the toy you could take the mask off. And I think it looked like Gargamel underneath the mask. Is that what you were thinking? It's kind of scary. Yeah. Okay. All right. Yeah. What do you hate on? I'm hating on these hecklers at a Barry Moore town hall.
They thought they owned him because he said citizens and non-citizens are different. And they were very mad. They were very mad. What are they saying? I guess they're saying he was saying that immigrants don't get due process. But I think his point was that illegal immigrants don't get the same due process as U.S. citizens. And so they're very upset. It's unbelievable. They started yelling at him and wouldn't let him continue. And this is the thing now with these town halls. I think I think it's ridiculous. So when was this? This yesterday? I just saw it pop up on on Twitter. So I don't. You need to get a yellowhammer story up about that so I can steal it and then do a yellow hammer video about that. All right. Let's get that up. It looks like it was yesterday, I think. Okay. Dale, what are you hating on? Yeah, Fee, what does the following words, what's the letter spell? Can you write this down and get ready for this? Okay? Ready? No, go ahead. T, I, T, T, T, I, E, S. I don't know. I, what could, what could I say? Oh, my God. Have you not seen this story? Have you not seen this story? I'm hating on Mayor Randall Woodfin. Have you followed this story? No. The mayor of Birmingham got into a conversation with a Jefferson County Commissioner yesterday. And in their little, he's got released yesterday, in their little dust up, there was a quote by Randall Woodfin, and she recorded this, not him. And he's like, we haven't, first of all, there was all sorts of childish nonsense between these. It was very embarrassing. I'll be honest with you. But. In the middle of all this childish nonsense, he's like, the last time we talked was eight years ago, and it was a talk about two titties, as he said. And they didn't really elaborate. Well, when the call got released, he went on Facebook and explained what he was talking about. And what he was talking about, apparently is she. when he got elected, called him up and said, you've got to help me now because I got you elected, you owe me. And he said, what does that mean? And she said, well, you've got two titties, don't you? And he's like, yeah. And he goes, I get one and everyone else gets the other. What? It's crazy. It's insane. He decided to post this on Facebook. The mayor? Yes. Yes. The mayor posted this on Facebook. It's crazy. Go look at it. And the framing behind it is kind of crazy because he's basically, he's telling this story in order to distract from the fact that he called her up threatening her. It's saying if you don't stop saying I'm putting someone in this race against you, I'm going to get in this race against you. I guess her reelection. And she's like, are you threatening me? And he's like, no, that's not a threat. It's like, dude, that is the textbook definition of a threat. Like you, you are literally doing nothing but threatening her. So because he was clearly threatening her, he came out. I was like, let me tell you the story about these two titties.
Wow. Man, it's a wonder why that city has problems. I know. In the Yellowhammer Now video coming out this morning at 1106 at Yellowhammer News, you can get it on my Facebook page at the Dale Jackson. I say that exact same thing. And if you wonder why North Alabama and Mobile are booming, well, Birmingham and Jefferson County are stagnating. You wonder why that's happening. Here is why that's happening. All right. We got a lot to get into here. Yaffey and Sis and I talk about that story. He's been texting me about it. I don't know why he's pretending he doesn't know anything about it. But whatever, yeah, if he's duplicity, it has no bounds. So when we come back and we will continue right here on this program, keep it locked right here. It's the Dale Jackson Show. It's the Dale Jackson Show. Oh, you know, late hate coming in here. Yeah, he got to get to it. I was going to let you read it, but I'll let our little British guy read it just mostly because I kind of want to hear how he says it. Okay. I'm just going to be completely honest with you. You can get your text in right here. 866 494 WVNN. That is the Scout Pest Control.com. WVNNN hot take text line. I hate that Dale save his two-titty story for when Emily is there to be outraged. When Emily is not there to be outraged is what you mean by that. You hate that Emily is not there to be outraged. I would love to get her take on this. I have a feeling it would be hysterical.
Well, you've got to go ahead and call her it and tell her now. Call her up and be like, hey, we need your take on this. Doc, stop what you're doing. She needs to take a phone call. She needs to take a phone call. She needs to take it. We hope Emily is having a good time. That's not the right way to say. Not a good time. She's having a great. I hope you're having a great time, Emily. What do you think about this? Yeah, I don't think that's it. I don't think that's what we're going for. I'm hoping everything is going. I'm hoping everything is going well. How about that? All right, Yaffy. Yes. Gambling in Alabama. I just got sent a heat map. Sam Gavann brought it up here earlier. And it's a heat map where they show the amount of gambling activity taking place in the state and where people are going to gamble and what they're doing and who's driving out of the state and all this other stuff. Sam Gavent referenced it earlier. In Hazel Green. There is this like gambling, the legal gambling hotspot. I'm assuming it has something to do with cell phone towers and stuff. I'm assuming. But you can illegally gamble there where you can't illegally gamble elsewhere in the state. You have to drive to like. you know, Florida, Mississippi, Tennessee, Georgia. They had to do all these things like drive to those areas. But there's a, there's a hot spot right in the middle, like in Hazel Green in North Alabama where, you can get crazy and gamble. What's the solution here? I've presented that there are two solutions. Okay. Okay. Solution one is you allow these gambling entities to punk you out like a bitch. Like you allow them to do that. Like that's kind of what they're doing, right? Right. And they're like, look, we're going to do this anyway and what are you going to do about it, bitch? Like that's literally like that's what they're saying. Okay? Okay. So you allow them to do that. There's three options. Option two is you shut it down like you do pornography. And you basically say you cannot operate in this state. You cannot do this. You cannot have prediction markets in the state. You cannot do this. It's illegal in Alabama. And if you do this, we're going to come and get you. We're going to fight you. We're going to, you need to ban these, ban Alabama IPs from this. You cannot do this. You better stop it. We're not your bitch. Like that's, that's the other one. The third one is, well, I'm sorry, Gabby, what? No, I was just saying, okay, I'm falling. Okay, the third one is, I like that, yeah, he's like, I'm still here. Like you're just letting everyone. I still. Yes. Option three is to say it's happening. We know it's happening and we want a cut of that money. So we're going to legalize this even more and we're going to get it. Okay, that's what we're going to do. We're going to get this money. We're going to, we're going to legalize and we're going to tax it.
Now, that's sort of the perspective. You may have seen there's a piece on Yellowhammer. And that goes to show you the diversity of opinions at Yellowhammer. There is a very pro gambling piece on Yellowhammer right now from Longshore of Longshore Night, the sports show they do. And he makes the argument that, look, this is already happening. And we should at least get the money. I mean, that's sort of like the- I mean, people haven't been making that argument for a while. Right. Like that's the argument. Like this, it's the same as the lot of argument. They're driving over there and getting the money. So we should go ahead and do this. You know, there's that sort of sort of stuff going on. So I've laid out three options. Are those the only three options? And of those three options, what is the Yaffi endorsed solution? Okay. So the Yaffe endorsed solution would be the first one, I think. What they say... Let them punk us out like a bitch? No, I thought the first one was to enforce it. Like, force the law. Like shut it down like you do pornography. That's the second option. First option was you just allow them to do it, make you their bitch. Oh, okay. So the appi endorse options is the second one. What I think a lot of people want to happen is the third one legalize it. And what I think is going to continue to happen is the first one where nothing is done. And it just keeps going out and we're all punked. And we just let them do whatever they want. I see, that's so bad though, right? Like, isn't, it's just, I don't know. Here's the thing. I'm, I'm going to rank them the ways I would like it to be. Okay, the way as I would like it to be is two, one, three. And I'll tell you why. If the state gets a piece, the state will promote. I mean, that's how I look at it. It gets even worse. I mean, that's how I look at it. Like, I hate to say it that way. And I think that's the right, like, public policy decision. I hate to say, this sounds so crazy because it's so convoluted. But I think the right public policy position is you tax it and regulate it, right? I mean, that's probably the right public policy. But I just don't think it's going to happen. But what do you want? You want the, you want the prohibition. You're going, you're going like, you know, spike the, like, like they didn't gamble. Yaffy's pouring alcohol. Yaffy's poisoning the alcohol during prohibition in order to get people to stop drinking. Is that right? Yeah. Although, you know, now that I think about it. People died and went blind from that. You know that, right. Yes. Did you know that? Like during Prohibition, they, they, because people were still drinking with the stuff they were making the alcohol out of, they would then, they spiked the alcohol, like the, the industrial alcohol, like they were using to clean and all sorts of stuff that they would end up making the alcohol, the drinking alcohol out of them. They spiked it with stuff that would make you go blind and kill you. So people would die and they'd stop doing it. Yeah, okay, I don't endorse that, okay? I do not endorse something like that. I just said that's what I'm going to add. I don't know how we poison people gambling, but actually what I would put a computer virus on there that rots their brain. Sorry, go ahead. I'm sorry. You only got to, you got to admit it. Make your point. Okay, I was just going to say, I actually would prefer us enforcing it and then passing a law legalizing some of it. But I don't think either is going to happen. I'm not super against gambling.
Like some people are. But if we have the laws in the books, we should enforce it. Yeah, I agree with that. I agree with that. I think, look, I know it sounds so stupid. It's like, I'm against gambling. It's like, really? Like, because I'm not. I just think it's, I don't know. I don't want the state promote. I don't want my state promoting it. That's as simple as I can put it. I don't want my state promoting it. That's for Vegas. Yeah. If you want to go to Vegas. Yeah, exactly right. Exactly right. But, you know, there's also, I'm torn on this because it's like, am I just going to stand in front of a rampaging bull? I mean, is that really what I'm going to do? Because, I mean, that's basically what's happening. We'll have to continue on the other side. Keep it locked right here. Stay tuned. This is the Dale Jackson Show. scrolling with Haley. I am Haley Karene. I scroll with the homies here in the live chat because there's a lot to scroll through on X, on Instagram, on TikTok. Cutting through the clutter, one hot take at a time. Follow and listen on your favorite platform. If you're the mayor of New York City and in the little bit of time you've been the mayor there, you've had to like, come out and be like, look, anti-Semitism is bad. Okay? I believe anti-Semitism is bad. I have to put out this official statement. Anti-Semitism, bad. Okay? I don't like it. It's bad. I'm letting you know. I don't like it. I think it's a bit of a tell. My other favorite part of this story, and I don't know if you've been following this thing out of New York. This car rams into a Jewish center. And they're like, a lot of people think it's an accident and blah, blah, blah. And it's like, if you read the story, it's like it rammed into the center four times. Accidentally. Yeah. She's like, wow. What are you talking about? It repeatedly rammed into a center. And they're like, there might have been. It's possible that there was a medical emergency. It's like, I don't know about this. I don't know. But the guy's been arrested. When I say, I don't know, what I mean is that's garbage. That's what I mean. A 36-year-old man has been arrested after repeatedly ramming his vehicle into the entrance of the Shaband-Lamuchvich World Headquarters in Brooklyn. They're investigating it as a possible hate crime. It could possibly be a hate crime, guys. Police said he drove a gray Honda sedan into the doors of the religious building multiple times causing visible damage. Officers were nearby and quickly took the driver into custody without incident.
authorities also confirmed the vehicle was searched had no firearms or other weapons inside and the guy's name was Steve Johnson oh wait that I mispronounce that hold on one second that is not his name that was a mistake on my part I apologize it was Dan Sohail so there we go Dan Sohail was the person who did this and they are saying that it is possibly a hate crime and what's interesting about this is the guy rams into this thing and people immediately come to his defense. So that's that's the story of this one. Yeah, Fee, Minnesota seems to be kind of resolving itself at this point. Is that fair to say? This is how like Minnesota is resolved like that, is that situation moving to the right direction? I think so, but there are still are riots, aren't there? Massive protests, I don't know. They've tamped down significantly in the last 48 hours. I mean, I think Trump has made the right move by sending Tom Homan in there. He's much more competent. I just, when you're talking about Jacob Frey or Tim Walz, it's just like they could say something tomorrow and then things change again. Well, they're, they're saying they're going to put these people in these situations and they're going to deal with this. And you can continue fighting us all you want. But. We're going to continue doing our job. He had some thoughts for CNN as well. Here's a clip. A little low, sorry. Four years of an open border where millions of people are like in this country, unvetted. Remember, let's not forget for four years. We're told the board. Okay, it's way too quiet. What he's saying is, sorry, that clip's bad. What he's saying here, excuse me, is that for four years, we just pretended this wasn't happening. They were told the border was secure. We knew it wasn't. The politicians attacking us. This is what he says. Where were we the last four years? Where were they? Not a word. And he's just, he's just laying into these guys. And he said, ICE is out enforcing laws enacted by Congress. No agency or organization is perfect. And the president and I, along with others in the administration, have recognized that certain improvements could be made. And that's exactly what I'm doing here. Now, we also in this story have the. perfect child of the resistance. Alex Preti standing up and saying, hey, I'm going to kick a cop car and spit on cops and tell them to assault me while I have a handgun on my person and I'm going to continue fighting the cops. I mean, this guy, that's his record. And we're hearing, well, that doesn't mean he should be killed. Well, of course, no, because that's your standard response to everything. That, I'm not saying he should be killed. But it does that important context. Right, of course, of course. It adds important context because of how they want to frame him. And I'll give you an example. This is from Anna Navarro, who is paid by two different entities to give her political opinions. That's not fair. They chose to, they killed the wrong guy, right? Because this is like, this is like the perfect guy. Alex Petty is the guy you would want to date your daughter. Fact check, Affie, would you like Alex Preddy to date your daughter? No. That is, I just, it's terrifying. Why? Why? The guy you want your son to grow up to be. Do I want Grant to grow up to be Alex Pretty? No.
A decent human being who was serving humanity, serving sick veterans who is, you know, there is nothing that has been said about that man that isn't wonderful. And so they can't malign him. They can't malign him because we have the videos. We do have the videos. He maligned himself. It's just this is out of control stuff. I mean, it just really is like. Well, just imagine if it's not ICE. Imagine if it's FBI. Imagine if it's local law enforcement. Would they be saying the same thing? They're acting like ICE is different. And I guess it's because Tim Walz says ICE is not legitimate law enforcement. Yes, they are. They're federal agents. We don't put up with this stuff with the ATF or the FBI because it's ICE. We're supposed to be like, oh, okay. Oh, it's fine. Well, I personally think, I'm going to disagree with you. This is exactly what they do with other cops. They hate cops in general. I mean, they absolutely despise law enforcement in the media. And they do this all the time. They're constantly saying, like, look at the situation with Mac Marquette and Decatur. There's a light on his face. Okay, the light from Steve Perkins' handgun is on his face when Perkins gets shot. And they're like, they murdered him. And it's like, you see the video. And I'm local media too, just as bad on this. Just as actually more embarrassing because they know better. And it's just like, guys, you see the video. The light is shining on the guy's face. And they're like, murder. It's like, you know, but the lights on his face. Here's the thing. Murder. And then I leak the tape and they're all like, I don't know if we can play this. Like, what? Why can't you play it? Oh, because of the narrative. Okay, I get it. I mean, it's true. Yeah. It's true. They wanted no part of this. I leak the tape. And they're like, oh, God, we don't know. It's like, what? What do you mean? Don't know. Oh, this tape's been edited. No, stupid. It's, it's been edited to lay out what's going on on the tape. If something happens and someone writes on the thing and says, his gun, that's not an edit. That's an explanation. God, I hate these people. Yeah, it's just, I just think overall in the media and with officials, He's not going to get the same sympathy if he's kicking out an FBI vehicle, you know, kicking out a tail light. Well, maybe. They're trying to put a narrative that ICE is not legitimate law enforcement. Well, that's true. But my point is, my point is this. Up until January 6th, the left universally hated cops. Then they found criminals that they, and rioters and political violence that they hated. So then all of a sudden. cops good at least these DC cops also Obama weaponized the FBI and the DOJ and Biden weaponized the FBI and the DOJ so therefore and that's good too right like that okay those guys those entities are good as well rating Mar-a-Wago you know yeah all that's all that's good all that so they found they found the cops they like
And that's what they've done here. So you could probably be correct in the sense that you're saying that if it was the FBI and other stuff, they might. Okay, I'll agree with that. I'll agree with that. But at this point in time, what we have is an abomination before us where the mainstream media's disingenuous stupidity is getting people hurt. And that's, oh, he's just like the person you want your daughter to date. He's done nothing wrong. He's a greatest human being that's ever lived in the history of the world. And there's no way you could ever. He's the perfect victim. And then they'll say, well, you don't have to be the perfect victim. He still didn't deserve. Does kicking out the headlight mean he deserves to die? And the answer to that is no, obviously not. But what it does do is it kind of explains why what happened happened. You know, there's a different side to it. Like you can look at something to be like, this is why this happened. This is the issue. This is why this went on. And here we are watching these clouds yammer on about this and suggest that the way they've been handling it is the right way. And I just, I look at this and I wonder to myself, like, how far can these people go on? And how far can these people continue with this? And the answer is. Who's Renee Good? That is my response. Because now they've moved on from Renee Good. We're two weeks away from them not even remembering her name. And Alex Prattie's now the guy. Who's the more sympathetic victim in these situations? Yeah, Fee. Renee Good or Alex Prattie? Choose your fighter. That is a tough one. I guess probably Alex Pruddy just because. The incident isn't quite as clear cut. Renee Good, you watched the video. Obviously, the guy, the ICE officer was acting in self-defense. Like, it's wrong, Yaffy. You're so wrong. Renee Good is the more sympathetic figure. She is a white woman standing up against the tyranny of the federal government. She is a mother. A poet. You're right. I looked at it too logically. I needed to look at it emotionally from the leftist standpoint. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. He is, he is, he is, he is about to be tossed to the heap. I mean, that's what's about that. This new video. Yeah, I think you're right. I mean, because you can't defend it. Like this guy was out there looking for a fight. He was out there looking for a fight and he found one. And I think we've all seen enough times in our lives when people go out spoiling for a fight. Sometimes they find one and it doesn't go the way they want it to. And that's what's happened here. This guy went out there and he got his rib broken by ice and got right back out there. I mean, give him credit for commitment to the bit. On that front, I mean, I will gladly give him props there. I mean, he went out and said, I like fighting. Okay, yeah, sure, I'll go out there and mix it up with you. And I'll do it again and again and again. That's fine. I mean, he, he, he lived the gimmick. So I will give him, I will give him the props that he deserves for living the gimmick. It's still stupid. It's suicidal. It's dangerous. It's dumb. It's moronic. It's embarrassing. But he's not faking the fuck.
I mean, I don't think it's very good that what he did, his outcome obviously was bad. But give him props. These people live the gimmick and they decided that's the way they want to live their life. Go right ahead. I, for one, don't think you should put yourself in a situation where you're murdered. And yes, it's a homicide. Anytime someone kills something, they're going to do the whole, like, it's been ruled a homicide. Yeah, war deaths are homicides too. So anytime someone kills someone, it's a homicide, it doesn't mean that it's not unjustified. When we come back, 10 with him, we'll close it out there on WVNN. It's the Dale Jackson Show. Dale Jackson here with you. Thank you very much for joining us. We've got a lot to get into, including one of my favorite segments that we do every single day. It's 10 with him. We'll get to that in a second. If you have not got your questions in, you need to do so right now. 866-494 WVNN. That is the Scout Pest Control.com. WVNN, hot take text line that you can jump in right there. Yeah, me earlier today. a listener to this program got very upset with me because they said something on the text line, so I stupidly responded to them. I'll bear you. And I said, I responded and I, and all I said was, this is all I said, or all I said was, hey, I don't know what your conspiracy theory you're talking about is I'm going to talk about something you said right on Facebook. And I said, And I just don't want to do that. And they responded. Are you ready for this? I don't know. You can look at the text line and see this. But they responded. And they were like, I effing told you never to contact me again. I'm like, I miss something. Do you know what this guy's talking about? No, I wonder, I wonder if that was a mistake. Whenever he sent that to someone, meant to send that to someone else. Oh, excuse me. So the crazy is he's not as crazy as that. That was just an inadvertent text. I mean, it sounds crazy to someone else. You should have asked, like, is this for me or? Oh, no, I just said, hey, look, I'm going to do your favor. I'm just going to block you and they don't have to worry about any of this. All right. You just chill out. I mean, it's a little weird that comes out of nowhere. It just makes you think maybe he was thinking to someone else or he meant to send that to someone else. Yeah, I don't know, or or he's crazy. Okay, there it is. Let's do it. Let's get to 10. With him. Ten. It's time to answer the deep questions. It's ten with him. All right, ten questions in about ten minutes. You asked them. I don't let Emily do it because she's being hysterical. But we'll let our little robot friend do it, okay? That's the important thing there. And look, we miss Emily.
Okay, we miss her and we hope she comes back, okay? Okay, that's the important thing. So let's go ahead and get right to it here. It is important that we let our little robot friend, let his freak flag fly. All right, Bugs and my turn down just a tad. All right, here we go. How will date your daughter if he is dead? I, let me clean up your statement here for a second. There we go. Let's try this one because how will date your daughter? How will you date your daughter if he is dead? That's not better. I think what they mean is, how will Alex Preti date your daughter if he's dead? I don't know. I've seen a couple movies where maybe they tried to, that kind of is a plot, but I don't know. I don't know. I don't know why you would say. What? Have you not seen the corpse bride? No, I have not, but yeah, I know what it is. You've never seen something where like a ghost tries to, like, get with a girl? You're not seen the movie Ghost? Okay. Good point, I think. How about Casper? Is Casper good for you? Also, you saw the scene in Ghostbusters where Slime or Slimes Bill Murray. There was some sexual attention to that. I stand corrected. In fact, in that movie, Sigourney Weaver, she's possessed by a ghost and tries to hook up with Bill Murray, too. Ghosts think Bill Murray's sexy as hell. And demons or whatever. He slimed me. What do the AG candidates have to say about gambling? I believe what they say is probably the correct thing, which is along the lines of we should enforce the law as it is written. That's it. I want bulldozers tearing down gambling facilities. That's what I want. So that's my take on it. Yeah. Any idea with these? That's been a dream of yours for a while. It has. It has. It's very unfortunate that it has not happened. Why is Emily never at work? So lazy. I bet right now she's laying up somewhere. Probably asleep. What a lazy person. Unbelievable. For those who don't know, I don't know if this is a joke, but for those who don't know, she's having a hysterectomy today. Okay, so that's what's actually happening. We're just putting out medical information all day. So there we go. Moving on. Jesse the Body Ventura recently said he wants Minnesota to be a part of Canada. Would you support this idea with a land swap with Canada? No, I would not support an idea of a land swap with Canada. I think that's a bad idea. I think we should fix Minnesota. That's the correct answer. And the people who live there should be the ones to fix it. Land swap with Greenland. That's what I like. We already got Greenland. We got what we wanted out of that. That's old news, yeah. We've already got what we wanted there. So we don't have to bargain for them. No, thank you. Moving on. Was you a fan of the body in his wrestling days? Was you a fan of the body in his wrestling days? Was you a fan of the body in his wrestling days? Wrestling fan definitely wrote that. Was you a fan of the body in his wrestling days? No, I never liked Jesse the Body Ventura. Never. Never. Little known fact though, fun fact. Yeah, I think I've told you this before. I was up for a co-hosting gig with Jesse the Body Ventura.
But the company that wanted to do it was like, uh, he's got too much Russia TV on him. That was the response. Yeah, no, it's good. Wouldn't it been funny at Jesse Ventura, Dale Jackson talk show? I don't know. It's two similar personalities, right? How dare you? That is some insulting stuff right there. I mean, you're both kind of, I don't know. Oh, my God. That's kind of an insulting thing to say, yeah. Holy cow. All right, all right. I was also up for a talk show one time with Terry Bouton as well. Let's just see guys. All right. Moving on. Dale, I hate that my vote counts the same as some of the morons I've been seeing posting to social media. That is not nice. Yaffy is sitting right here. Here's an idea. When you cast your vote, you submit a 10-question civics quiz. They don't tell you if you passed or failed. But if you fail, your vote doesn't count. What do you think? Very time-consuming, but. I like it. I like the idea. Think about it. It would also deter a lot of people from even going and voting. That's exactly what it would do. I like it. I like the plan. I think however you do tell them, but the way you tell them is if they fail, you take their thing and you know how you slide into the little machine. You just slide into a shredder right in front of the vote machine. ICE is already funded through the current spending bill that is in effect. That is correct. That was framed as a question. Yes, it is already funded through the spending bill that is already in effect. That is correct. ICE is already funded. So yes, definitely. Look, Emily's not here. We got to like 10 questions. I think I'm better at this than she is. I don't need her. We'll be back. Deal. Jackson.
