268 segmentsIt's the Dale Jackson Show, and it's only on News Talk 770 a.m. 925 FM WVNN. Depend on it. Dale Jackson here with you. Thank you very much for being here. Thank you so much for your time today. And every day you're willing to spend any time with us, I'll tell you what I'm going to do. I'm going to take it. I'm going to take it and I'm going to treasure it. And I'm going to honor it. And I'm going to just be so happy to be here with you. Wow. What a delightful morning. For those of you who are concerned, both of you, Emily. had a fine medical procedure yesterday. All seems to be well. She is on the mid. She's supposed to take like three to four weeks off. She tells me she's coming back on Tuesday, which goes to show me that I think my employees, I think I'm too easy on them. I mean, if you're looking at this and thinking, I just had a surgery and I can come back in like a day. I don't need, you know, I don't really do it anything. That leads me to believe that I think I need to ramp up the terribleness. I think that's what the message is. Bugsy, shouldn't she be dreading coming back because of how hard it's going to be, not rushing back out of joy and happiness? I thought it was out of fear. So when you have your kid, we talk like, six hours off, you're going to be able to come back and put the weather in. I think maybe three is good for me. Good, good. Get that done because I would hate for you guys to get too comfortable around here. That would be a real problem for me. Really, as we all know, this is all about me. That's the main concern that most of us should be having here. So don't worry. I'll take care of you guys as long as you guys come to work. If you don't come to work, can't really help you there. We got a lot going on here. We got a lot happening, and the government might be shutting down. Last night when I went to bed, I told my wife, I said to her, I said, hey, just so you know, it appears they have struck a deal. And that deal should keep the government open. And my wife said, damn it. I'm not kidding you. That's exactly what she said. She said, damn it. And she'll be happy to know this morning. You know, when she wakes up from her once every other week, Friday off at her government job, she'll be happy to know that a deal maybe has not been cut and that a government shutdown will apparently be going into place here later on this evening. So congratulations all the government employees on Monday. They might have a vote in order to keep the government open. But it...
appears to have fallen apart whatever deal they did think they had. They don't have the votes to get it done right now. So the government could shut down this weekend. Mike Johnson, the Speaker of the House of Louisiana, he said that he believed it was an inevitability, basically, that it was going to shut down at some point in time, whether it was now or in two weeks. So even if they do get the deal done, it doesn't really appear that the government... will be remaining open for any foreseeable future. So I don't have any particular insight for you, but it appears that the government shutdown is going to be a thing this weekend. I don't, again, have an answer completely for you, but there we go. Also this weekend, apparently there is a Melania movie out. And I saw a preview for this thing. And I thought to myself, this looks terrible. It, this looks terrible. Okay, I cannot, I cannot stress this enough. This looks terrible. If you are wasting your money on this, I really got a question. I really, really. Really got a question what in the world you're doing with your money. Okay? Just please. I am begging you. I'm begging you right now that you need to do anything else with that money. Just send me that money. Give me your money if that is the case. God, I cannot imagine. I could not imagine me like, honey. Yes, darling. Hold on. I'm cooking you dinner. No, no. You can stop cooking. Well, actually, finish cooking dinner and then throw it away. I don't want you to get out of practice. But we're going to go out tonight. And we are going to go and see a movie. Oh, what are we going to see? The new Jason Statham movie? Oh, is there a rom-com out that we can see? And I'd be very, very careful not to do any voices that might actually sound like my wife. But... I say, no, no, darling. I'm taking you to see the Melania Trump movie. That's what we're going to see. I know you've been dying to see this. Like, please tell me the story of Melania Trump. And I love our, I love our friends in the media. They're funny in the way they handle things. They're doing a breakdown of the Melania story versus Fahrenheit 9-11. And they're stacking them up on that. Like, ooh, Fahrenheit 9-11 did $41 million its opening weekend. And the Melania movie is going to do like $1 to $5 million its opening weekend. And I'm just like, guys, look, I'm going to come on the radio and I'm going to crap talk this thing because I think if you go see it, you're kind of a chump. Okay, that's how I feel about this. All right? I don't get it. I really don't. And I would think it was incredibly weird and silly if there was a Obama movie in the middle of the Obama presidency. I think it's weird and silly that Netflix gave them a bunch of money. And I think that that's kind of a grift a little bit. So this is probably how I'm going to have to view this thing, just to be consistent. But who with their right mind?
is going to see this movie. Who in their right mind wants to go see a movie about Melania Trump? What is that? I'm sorry, what is the accomplishment? What exactly is the story here? She is? It was, it remains very hot. That's true. Okay, that's fine. She won the genetic lottery. She's, she's kept herself attractive. No question about it. Model, all the other stuff. She married a very powerful, rich and healthy, or excuse me, wealthy individual, which I think we just said the same thing, right? She explained how hot she is and how that's probably a factor in the other stuff that's going on there. Okay. But what is the signature accomplishment of Melania Trump? What is it? Like, what am I watching? Like, what am I watching for? At least in Fahrenheit 9-11, I have a clue what the climax of the movie is. It's in the title, right? I have a clue, and I don't agree that these are comparable things. I don't know why they would compare them, but at least have a clue there. In this, I have no idea what exactly I'm looking for in this movie and what I'm hoping to get out. Can someone tell me what, let's do that. Somebody tell me Melania Trump's signature accomplishment and why I would want to go see the movie. Let's just say I have a young child, a young daughter, okay? Let's say she's 11 or 12. And I'm looking for strong female role models. Okay. Like Caitlin Jenner or Laverne Cox. Like the swimmer for Penn or something. How about that Congresswoman from like Iowa? Like, yeah, those are those are the women that I would like be like, these are strong, burly, independent women. They broke the mold for women. What is Melania's accomplishment? I'm just trying to figure out what it is. I have no problem with Melania Trump. I think it's kind of funny that when she was wearing that shirt that said something like this, does it bother you or whatever it was? But they got all mad at her. Oh, there's children who are suffering and she's wearing a shirt that says I'm not bothered. Oh, my God. That's like the main accomplishment I know of for Melania Trump. But apparently there's this movie out and people are supposed to be excited by it. If you go see that. You are sad. That is my response to that, but I'm looking for that signature Melania accomplishment.
Somebody help me out there. 866-494 WVNN. That, of course, is the Coleman Furniture Market free speech phone lines. You can jump in right there and tell me that accomplishment. There's also the scout pest control.com. WVNNNN, hot take text line. You can also get your questions in for 10 with him. You can jump in there and share your thoughts, your opinions, Melania's biggest accomplishment. I'm sure the texts are going to just blow up. I'm sure it's just going to blow up with answers to this question. Yeah, you can get that in there. You've got mail. You can email me, Dale at wVN.com. It's all different ways to get in here, including the downtown rescue mission.org email inbox. So after you guys give me the answers to Melania Trump's accomplishments, I'll move on. Stay tuned. It's WVNN. This is the Dale Jackson Show. Okay, you guys are doing something. that I don't appreciate. I don't appreciate you guys just going to chat GPT and rattling off a list of whatever they say her accomplishments are. Okay, I don't like that. I'm not, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not a big fan of this. Okay, I listen, I'm gonna tell you this right now. I'm a fair human being. Okay, but. Some of you guys are not doing a very good job at this. And I don't blame you because there's really not a lot here. Okay? Let's just be real about it. There's not a lot to this story. But I can summarize it all in a very simple way. But I'm going to let you guys do this first. I'm going to give you guys an opportunity to answer this question of what she has accomplished and why there's this movie for her. And I'm just telling you, it would be weird and it is weird that the Obama's got to deal with Netflix, but it would have been even weirder had to happen during their term. Okay? So here's some of y'all's responses that have come in here on the scout pest control.com, WVNN, hot take text line. Well, they say behind every good man is a better woman, so maybe she accomplished giving us a great president. What? It doesn't even make any sense. So she's responsible for Donald Trump being present? Okay. I'm going to see it today. And I don't really care what her accomplishment is. I just want to see it. I just want, I'm not knocking the people that want to, well, I guess I am. I'm a lot of you. I am knocking the people who want to say it. I'm just wondering, like, what is the story? The moral of the story is. Even ugly girls can eat right and exercise and have a great body. That's why God invented the paper bag. I mean, are we suggesting that Melania Trump is not beautiful? I mean, that's stupid. Everyone knows she's beautiful. I mean, that's just silly. That's silly. That's silly. That's her accomplishment. I'm not saying she's not very smart. I'm not suggesting that. I mean, she speaks multiple languages, all this stuff. I'm not suggesting any of that. But let's just say it all flows downhill from her being hot.
And here's someone who I think just went to chat GPT. Listen to this. Accomplishment. She married a guy who is rich and had more votes than Clinton and Harris. Sorry, that wasn't the one that. That's true. She did marry a guy. But isn't that just something that flows downstream from her being hot? Yeah, come on. Launched her own successful jewelry collection, Melania Trump Time Pieces and Jewelry in 2010. That's the same thing! You guys are just finding different ways to say she's hot! Does she have that timepiece collection if she's not married to Donald Trump? No. Is she married to Donald Trump if she's not hot? I doubt it. Developed and marketed other products, including a line of caviar-based skincare. Ah, yes, the people love their caviar-based skin care. Described in official biographies as an accomplished businesswoman. You're chat GPT me. Thank you very much for that. served as honorary chairwoman for the boys club of New York for five years. That is going to be a hell of a plot point in a movie. I mean, I'll just tell you this. Is it a documentary? Excuse me. Is this a documentary? Is that what this is? Is Melania a documentary? Maybe it's a documentary. Maybe it is. What the hell is this? What is this? Amazon blogs mainstream press from watching the Melania documentary. Okay, so I guess it's a documentary. Okay, all right. I was hoping to be a drama. But okay, it's a document. Even now, what is she doing? I mean, I'm sorry, she's been in the public eye for the last 10 years and I just can't think of like what she's actually doing. Not that I expect her to do anything. I don't care. Established Fostering the Future, a BE best-related initiative. Oh, yes, I forgot. I totally forgot about her anti-bullying initiative. You know, Donald Trump's wife's anti-bullying initiative. I mean, that's... What? I mean, come on. I mean, at least look at that and say that that has been a failure. Okay, that's like me having a clean eating initiative. I mean, come on, what are we doing here? As First Lady contributed to White House preservation efforts, such as renovating the Rose Garden and other spaces. Wasn't there an entire scandal about how they tore down the east wing of the White House? Didn't that just happen? Again, I don't care. I just think it's kind of funny. Oh, this is a good one. Mother to Baron Trump, born 2006 and wife to Donald J. Trump since 2005.
mother and I'm not saying being oh wait I think I've said repeatedly I don't want to lie bugs I think I've said on this program repeatedly that being a mother is not an accomplishment so I think it'd be a little hypocritical for me to pretend that I think that it is okay so yeah you guys are you guys are giving me a lot to think about I'm sorry chat GPT has given you guys and then you guys have given me a lot to think about here just remember as you're as your chat GPT and all that you're destroying the environment to get that information here's a good question What did Jackie O ever accomplish? I have absolutely no idea. I believe it's the same thing that, I think it's the same thing that Melania has accomplished. Only she did it twice because didn't she marry some guy named Onassis? Wait, that was her, that was her main name. But didn't she marry, didn't she marry somebody else afterwards who was also very rich? Isn't Jackie Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Onassis? Yeah, it's Jackie Robert F. Kennedy Jr.-O-Nus. So it was after that. So the guy named Onassis. So, yeah, she did it twice. And so, yeah, there it is. And then this one, this is the one. that I think is the most important one. And I think it summarizes how important this documentary is to our culture. This is the one. I know this one was not chat GPT. I will give you credit because I know you did not chat GPT this answer, but it is by far the best answer that has been given this morning. And we will end it on this. I'm not sure that Ivanka is her daughter, but if it is, that's her biggest accomplishment. In the words of Ricky Bobby, all you ever did with your life is create a hot daughter. That is it. Ivanka Trump is not the daughter of Melania Trump. Oh my God. It's amazing. We are really living in the idiocracy stuff. I know that's very cliche. I know it's very, very cliche. But Ivana Trump is the mother of Ivanka Trump. Believe it or not. Good job, guys. We did it. This is The Dale Jackson Show. Hey, I'm Chris Van Fleet. Go behind the scenes and beyond the headlines with the biggest names in pro wrestling and beyond. Jeff Jarrett, great to see you. Follow and listen on your favorite. platform news talks of 70 a.m. 925 FM, WVNN. Bill Jackson here with you. Thank you very much for joining us. Let's just check in real quick.
And with our congressman from the 5th Congressional District, Dale Strong, he'll join us here on the Alabama-A-N-N-350-M-Bulldog hotline. LAS, Alabama-A-N-N-350 million dollars. That is the economic impact on the great state of Alabama from Alabama, A&M, 238 million in North Alabama alone. The great guys, great people in there working real hard and learn more about them at AAMU.edu. How can they help you and our community? AAMU.edu. I requested Congressman Strong come on the program. And within five minutes, he's like, absolutely. So let's go ahead and bring him on the program. Congressman Dale Strong, thank you very much for being here real quick. Does my wife have to go to work today? Does she got to work today? Well, she had to go to work on Monday. We shut this thing down or what? Let me tell you this right here. There's no reason whatsoever for this. The thing is I'd be prepared to go to work because apparently they're calling us, telling us to roll in. I guess I'm moved now to fly in on Sunday rather than Monday. Probably have a vote immediately, but I don't know if the folks from the West Coast can get there as easy as I can. But I'm just telling you right now, go to work. Go to work. This is crazy. Twelve appropriation bills passed. out of the House with a, what, two, three vote majority. And I think the Senate needs to move on down the road. If they want to fight over ICE, I think it's something worth fighting over. Because I'm going to tell you something, we have got to fund ICE. We can't go in there and start pulling these bills apart. If you do, it just leads to chaos. And we're on Republican bills now. Forget Nancy Pelosi, forget the rest of them. And every one of these bills is reduce spending. all over the board for all 12 bills, less than what they were. So it's more cost effective to accept these bills than to go to a CR. But a government shutdown is happening tonight at midnight. But I guess the point you're making here, and I'll just summarize this real quick, is the vote to quote unquote fund the government, I guess reopen the government will take place Sunday or Monday. So we're not looking at like some sort of prolonged government shutdown or anything like that. Well, we've got a one-vote majority in the House. If the Senate screws with these bills and goes in here and does anything crazy, it'd be all we can do to get the bills back up. But again, I think the Senate kind of found out that the Homeland bill, well, it's just not about Homeland. It's also FEMA. We've still got, what, 80,000 people in Mississippi that doesn't have power. You've got people in Tennessee without power, so it's bigger than just homeland. This right here's got a lot. more to do. But what they need to do is pass the bill as it is and move on with it. But that's not going to happen. It appears they don't have the 60 votes to do it. Okay. So, so again, I just want to make this clear. The government is shutting down, but it's probably going to get reopened here by Monday. Is that correct? That is exactly. I have a 10 o'clock, I think it's 10 or 11 o'clock call with Mike Johnson today. And so we'll get the real skinny on exactly what the Senate has done. But again, there's no reason to close it down. They ought to approve those five bills as they are. But I know what they're going to do. They're going to pull four out and approve them and then have the one bill sitting there related to homeland and probably trying to screw with it related to ICE.
And I'm telling you, Dale, this is the thing. We worked through those bills, got them to the Senate with a small majority. I'm telling you, if they screw with those bills, I promise you there's people on our side that will not vote to make a bunch of changes. It better be minute changes, and it better not be a lot of money being cut out for ICE. A lot of people aren't willing to say that, but ICE is doing their job. They're doing what they're supposed to do. The laws are on the books. That's the thing. A lot of them just don't like that they're carrying out the laws. We've removed over 5 million illegal aliens out of America. Biden let in, what, 15 million at least, and 5 million has been sent back under Trump. The media doesn't talk about that, but you think about it. I think there's over 2,000. in their jails up there, and I think that that right there is what they're negotiating. Bring those 2,000 out, and they're going to walk out and send them back home too. But again, we'll see what happens. 11 o'clock conference call. I just got my text on that 11 o'clock. I'm talking to Mike Johnson, 11 o'clock, and we'll know more about what the Senate's plan is. So ICE, I understand this, is funded for a couple of years already. This idea that they're fighting to defund ICE, that's, like, is this the first time ever Democrats have tried to pull money out of a program? I mean, the Democrats love government spending. This has already been done. It was dealt with it. And it was done solely for this reason, because the idea is like, you know, you can't, you can't. you know hang up on this and and try to nickel and dime ice you just you fund them and say okay let's go do what the president ran on and and now they're trying to undo that is that right Much of ICE is funded in the big, beautiful bill through 29. And let me tell you this right here, that's the thing. You look at it, we hadn't done a good enough job of telling the story of what we have taken out, all the DEI out of those bills. You look at the funding for abortions, out of those bills, tore that up. But all this woke language in there, all of it's out. I can't believe it took, it was in every. Senate in there. And so now we're moving forward on Republican legislation, but we can't let them weaken that Homeland bill. There's no way if they do, it's going to set us back. And I just know as hard as the House worked to get it over there with a very small majority, if they screw with it much, I'm telling you, I know what's going to happen. And I pray that Mike Johnson... I mean, he knows it. He knows that we don't have a lot of wiggle room, and they shouldn't let them mess with it. But again, we'll see what happens. But, yeah, they change the narrative every time something doesn't go their way, and I'll promise you, we don't need less ice, we need more ice, we need sonic ice.
What a funny way to put that. All right. Sonic Ice is the best ice. I will agree with you there. Let's discuss this, though. The Democrats, I think they found a winning issue with immigration. Recent elections would indicate that that is not the case. The American people want immigration enforcement done. Maybe they're irritated by what's happening in Minnesota, but my irritation isn't with ICE. It's with... It's with Minnesota's leadership. Is that what you're hearing from your constituents? And your constituents are North Alabama constituents just like I am. And I get we're more conservative than the rest of the country and all this other stuff. But my irritation is not with ICE. I support ICE 150%. But it seems to me like ICE has been villainized by the media and it's been somewhat effective. It hasn't been effective. Oh, this right here's a smoke screen. You know it. This is a smoke screen. This is. one issue that is going on there. The other issue is the waste, fraud, and abuse that's going on with the theft that's going on there. And you watch this, Gavin Newsom, some might have saw that. He said, well, don't just talk about California and Waltz and the mayor. You ought to talk about, and he included Alabama. Well, let me tell you something. There's waste, fraud, and abuse happening in Alabama. I want to know about it, too, but I'll tell you, you have got to deal. I'm trying to figure out, you know, why are they wanting to keep murders and rapists and... folks that have sodomized children. Oh, they're defending that. I don't see any Republicans out here protesting, taking folks that have done criminal activity against children, you know, trying to stop that. I think that this is nothing but a smokescreen because I think that theft, fraud, and abuse is going to make this look like nothing whenever they go in there. It's a combination of fraud and everything else that's going on in that state. But what we've got to do is keep rolling. I'm a little frustrated, like many Republicans. I'm ready for Pam Bondi and the FBI to put some handcuffs on people, get them to trial, show the evidence, and determine their guilt or innocence. But I know that they've got a lot going on, but that's what I'm ready for. I'm ready for those that have stole from America. The people don't just want to hear you talk about it. They want to hear the evidence. They want to see if let a jury of 12 determine their guilt or innocence, and then a price has got to be paid if that's what did occur. I agree with that. I think people want to see that and they want to see it now. They're impatient. I mean, people are impatient. They've seen this all go down and they want this taking care of. And I think they're very upset about the Somali daycare stuff. It's all being pushed aside. The media's like, oh, my God, what are you guys getting up so upset about this? Tim Walz said yesterday, oh, this fraud happens everywhere. And I'm like, does it? Because if it does, we need to be on top of that as well. Last thing I want to ask you. We got about a minute left here, so I'm sorry to put you on a crunch here. This situation in Fulton County, Georgia, what do you think they found down there? What do you think's happening there? Any idea?
I can't wait. I hope. Obviously, they know a lot because the focus was on a lot of other issues. Boom, they go into Fulton County. And so I can't wait to see exactly what that is. But I think the American people want to see that also. Hey, Dale, one other thing, you think about food stamps. You know, the one thing that I do support. 30 seconds. We've got fraud going on there. They all have to reapply for food stamps every two or three years because you've got people that die. Agreed. The food stamps keep rolling. They pass those cards to other people. I support them having to reapply for it every two or three years at least. There we go. Either way they want to go on it. Congressman Dale Strong, thank you very much for always being available. I text you this morning. You got back to me within an hour on the show. I can't request any better constituent services than that. So thank you very much to Dale Strong for joining us here on the Alabama A&M $350 million Bulldog Hotline. We appreciate him laying out what's going on there. So small government shut down maybe. That's what it looks like we're going to see. And then they're going to reopen it kind of instantly unless they change a lot in the Senate. Lots of information there. Thank you very much.
Dale Jackson here with you. Thank you very much for joining us. Appreciate you being here. Appreciate you every single day. And I got to tell you something. As I sit here and I look at everything going on in the world today, I wonder to myself, why do we make things so hard? Why do we make things so damn hard? It doesn't got to be this way. It doesn't. The government shut down did not sneak up on us. Okay, we could have done this a lot smarter than we did. Okay, so just let's keep that in mind. Let's also keep another thing in mind. It's Friday! And now, from Sunny North Alabama, it's $50 free-for-all Friday. Bum, bum, bum, bum, bum, bum, bum, bum, bum, bum, ba-da-da-da-da-da-da. Bum, bum, bum. Yes, $50 free for all Friday here on the Dale Jackson Show. And you know what that means? I got a $50 gift card to Twin Peaks to give you. Yes, I do. And don't forget, the big game is right around the corner, which means the big game pregame at Twin Peaks next Friday, 5 to 7 p.m. Myself, Yaffy, Doc, will be broadcasting live on Jock's Huntsville. Very excited about that. I got to tell you, as I sit here today, I got my football prognosticator helmet on. I'm ready to go. I can't wait for it. We're going to watch that big game on TV. So I'll give you a $50 gift card. You can come out and enjoy yourself. By the way, we can also consider that a pregame for a basketball game because my son's got a basketball game at 7.30 that evening. So I'll be leaving Twin Peaks and running over and coaching a basketball game immediately after. So everyone just come with me. Just pre-gaming your child's basketball game. Hey, what do you think the other parents would think if a bunch of people rolled in from Twin Peaks? I feel like they'd be all for it, honestly, after a while. All right, that's what we're going to do. We're going to pre-game and then we're going to head down to my son's basketball game. I think I will be the first person in Huntsville. 8 under rec league basketball wearing a tie as I coach the game. Oh my God. Oh, I could change in the car, I guess. I could do that. All right. Let's go to it. It is $50 free for all Friday. So here is today's question. And we kind of shared it this week. And if you haven't seen the photo, you need to go to our Facebook page. If you've ever thought of like, what would Dale look like if he was every golden girl? Bugs, you thought that before, right? I think that all the time, yeah. Yeah. Well, luckily now we have the answer for you. If you go to our Facebook page, Facebook.com slash The Dale Jackson, where if you follow me, you can become one of close to a million followers. We're getting there. We're getting on the way there. And you can also go to WVN's Facebook page, follow them as well and answer this question. What's on TV right now? What's a good TV show right now? Listen, here are the rules for this, okay?
Here's the rule for it. It has to be something that is currently on TV, currently in production, meaning they're making new episodes. Because I don't think there's anything there. There's no must-see TV. There's no friends. There's no Seinfeld. There's none of this. News Radio, which is a great one. Frazier. There's none of this. I know I'm dating myself. Boy Meets World. There's none of this. Perfect strangers. None of that. That's very 80s, right? 80s, early 90s? Maybe I'm trapped in a little loop there, except for maybe, except for maybe friends. Friends are a longer that. Anyway, doesn't matter. What is a good show that is currently being made right now that I need to watch? And I'm looking for one. I've fallen into a YouTube-esque trap. Okay? That's what I've fallen into. I've fallen into a YouTube-esque trap, meaning my attention span has been completely eviscerated because it's like, oh, would you like to hear about how in 1943... the United States military blew up a bunch of boats and blah, like it just goes through this whole thing. And I'm in that world where it's just like feeding me information constantly. And I haven't found a, I need a TV show that I can kind of sink my teeth into. That's what I'm looking for. So Bluey, I'm over it. Okay. Peppa Pig, I'm over it. I'm overall with stuff. My kid's a little too old for that anyway. But now it's time to move on. I'm not talking about anyone but me. I need a show that is currently being made that I can sink my teeth into. Bugsie, do you got one for me? I guess solar opposites is really good. Smiling Friends, Always Sunny is still making good episodes despite it being super old. Why is it that every weirdo that I know says Always Sunny in Philadelphia? Have you ever seen my tattoos? No, I have a tattoo from Always Sunny on my arm, so. Okay, well, again. Every single person I know who I would go, that person is kind of a weirdo. And don't take that the wrong way. It's not an insult. I'm a little weird myself. I get it. I'm totally normal. I don't know what you're talking. But every person that I would go, that person is a little weird. They all say always sunny in Philadelphia. Our country has like a psychopath fetish. They like, oh, I see myself in these people. It's like, no, they're terrible. Just like the Seinfeld. Yeah, that's why I like Always Sunny, actually, is because you see yourself in them and they're absolutely detestable people. Yes, every single one of them. You still like them. If you think about the cast of Seinfeld, every single one of those main characters is a terrible person.
Every single one of them. I'm starting to think those are my favorite shows. Yeah. For some reason. That might be it. That might be it. But yes, there is a, and yes, you can do streaming. It just has to be a show that is currently in production that can be watched. And look, the economics of TV has changed. Just think about it. Look at what happened with the paper. This is an office spin-off. I watched it. It's the only series I've watched, and I was suspended when it came out, so I had a little bit of free time. I don't know if you guys know that or not. But I had a little bit of free time. It's the only show I've watched probably for a whole season in probably five or ten years. And I enjoyed it, but they put it on streaming. They didn't put it on actual TV. Now they're putting it on actual TV. So the economics of television have changed a little bit. And a correct answer, I'll give you one right now. Alabama politics this week. I'm just saying it's going on almost 10 years. It's a fantastic show. You can watch it online and on streaming and on TV stations around the state. I'm just throwing that out there. The host, super sexy. I think they should have ended it in the third season. Yes, it's peaked. It's peaked. All right. We'll get some of your answers later in the program. Thank you very much. We'll be back. You're listening to The Dale Jackson Show. Dale Jackson here with you. Thank you very much for joining us. Two Kairns right now. Listen to this. Chiron won on MSNBC. Lawmakers want to know why Tulsi Gabbard was that FBI rate. They're so mad that they're looking into the 2020 election. They wanted to put people in jail over the 2020 election. They did put people in jail over the 2020 election and people objecting to it. Now they're looking into things that have not been looked into and they're furious about people looking at the 2020 election. We must jail the president over the 2020 election. Hey, stop looking at the 2020 election. Same people. Same people. On the other one, Trump says that Preti may have been an insurrectionist. Well, I mean, yeah. You have video and evidence of him fighting with cops over the actions of the federal government and getting violent while armed. I mean, that's, I mean, that's, that's literally the definition of an insurrection. So you have a guy literally trying to stop the government from carrying out its deeds and overthrow them well armed.
I mean, okay, yeah, he might have been an insurrection. That's a completely fine thing for the president to say. Now they're all mad about it. It's unbelievable. It's unbelievable. It's also eight after the hour, so it's time to me to remind you about Matt Curtis and the Matt Curtis Real Estate team. Yes, Matt Curtis is always going to be your guy. That's what Matt Curtis can do for you. He can help you. He's very good at helping you. Let Matt Curtis help you today. Matt Curtis real estate.com. We were talking yesterday about all the apartments coming online. You have an apartment building that apparently had their power shut off and everyone's pissed off. about that. Maybe we've overbuilt the apartments right now. Maybe that's just us building up for the future. Let's see what's going to happen here. Might be some time to convert those things to condos and you might be able to get a deal on one. That's what happened to my hometown. We overbuilt when it comes to apartments and then everyone converted them to condos and people bought them cheap. So that might be where we're headed. I'm not suggesting that's good because trust me, you don't want to be Bradenton, Florida. Okay. We got a lot to get into, including the seven things you should be talking about today. Oh, by the way, that's Matt Curtis Real Estate.com. So let's get into that seven things. It's brought to you by two minute a truck. I love two minute a truck. The last move I made was so easy because two minute a truck did it. They came, they packed it up, they moved it. They unpacked it. They staged it. They did everything I wanted them to do and more. I got two men a truck. I got more than two men and a truck. Yes, they have the grandma rule. Treat everyone the way you'd want your grandma to be treated. And that's fantastic because they do it and they live it. And they're great. Two men in a truck, Huntsville.com. That's their website. You need to go check them out. Hire them, use them. They are fantastic. And they've been supporters of this program at this radio station for years. Support those and support the things that you love. And I know you guys love me, right? Good. Go see my friends at two men in a truck. And when you do, make sure you tell them Dale Jackson sent you. Oh, hold on one second. Don Lemon has been arrested. Don Lemon has been arrested. Don Lemon has been arrested. Don Lemon has been arrested. Oh my God, why am I so happy about this? Why am I so happy about this? It's not going to make the seven things, but only Gowl. Don Lemon has been arrested. All right. Before we get into the seven things, don't forget, get your questions in. Four, ten with him. You can get him in right now. 866, 494. WVNN, that is the Scout Pest Control.com. WVNN. Hot take text line. You can also answer the questions. The question of the day, which is this, what's a good TV show that's on right now? Still being made, actually airing what is a good TV show that is on and being made right now. Okay? That's your question. Get those answers in. I got a $50 gift card to Twin Peaks to give you. Man, we got a lot going on here. So let's go ahead and get to it. It is time for the often duplicated, never replicated, the most critically acclaimed segment here on the Dale Jackson show brought to you. by Alabama's most trusted journalist, it's the seven things you should be talking about today. Now time for the seven things you'll be talking about today. Number seven. Alabama man, Adam Benjamin Netanyahu Hall, has been charged with interstate stalking after he allegedly drove to Atlanta to assassinate then-president Joe Biden during the presidential debate that was being hosted there.
Now, you would think this guy must be a right winger. Wrong. That's why you're not hearing that much about it. He was motivated by pro-Palestinian views and called for a manifesto. He had a manifesto calling for violence against U.S. institutions. To make this even better and even more hilarious, he was in the wrong location. I mean, was this guy like, I can't wait until Joe Biden gets here. I wonder why no one else is here. This is going to be a really easy shot. Nobody's even here. When Joe Biden gets off the train, he's going to walk right by. But yeah, he was in the wrong place. What a loser. What an absolute loser. Number six. The Alabama Senate passed a bill that I would bet money that our previous subject would be impacted by. It's a bill passed by the Alabama Senate that says this. No vaping in public, guys. No more vaping in public. Can't do it. If it passes, it could be illegal to vape in public places and public meetings. You can't do it. You already can't smoke there, but now you can't have a whole minty cloud or a cotton candy cloud being blown in your face. Just remember, every time you smell someone smoke, It's been in their mouth. Just throw that out there to you. It's gross. I hate it. I absolutely hate it. Yeah, fine. You can't vape it public. Again, this stuff is the fault of the people who do it. If you're obnoxious about it, people are going to want to stop it, and that's what's happened here. Number five. Maybe you should wear a mask. Oh, wait, you can't. No, not if a state house bill passes. It's already been done in the House. It goes to the Senate. You may need a doctor's note if you want to wear a mask while protesting. After the Alabama State House passed a bill of a criminalized protesting while wearing a mask, the idea is to improve public safety and identification by removing anonymity. You'd have to have a doctor's note. Could you imagine? How is this even going to be enforced? Sorry, I need you to take that mask off. No, I have a doctor's note. And there will be doctors that will offer up these doctor's notes for these situations, which is actually kind of funny. But it's going to be hard to see how this thing is going to be enforced. But, yeah, you would criminalize protesting a mask without a doctor's note. And, yeah, so. Vap, though. Vap with your mask on. Number four. Governor-elect, national championship winning coach, United States Senator Tommy Tuberville. Republican Adam Auburn said he will not be watching the Super Bowl's halftime show, which he referred to it as the Woke Bowl. All right, Tuberville is basically your dad on Facebook. Okay, just know that. He also said he'll be watching the Turning Point USA halftime show, which I don't even know what that's going to be. I'm assuming that Yaffee is very excited about the Turning Point USA halftime show. I'm just going to go out of a live here. He referred to Bad Buddy as Bad Rabbit. I mean, again, he's your dad. Okay, just know that. This is how your dad acts.
So yeah, bad rabbit. That's what he said. So he's not going to be watching that halftime show. He's flipping over to the Turning Point USA halftime show, which I'm sure a lot of people are going to do. Is he going to be wearing a dress? What is that? I don't want my kid watching that either. Number three. Don't worry, guys. If you missed your latest ice protest, there's going to be another ice protest. And if you miss that one, there'll be another ice protest after that. Yes, the killing of Alex Freddie. It is upsetting a lot of people. They want to have these events. Congratulations to them. No word on if these videos will include instructions on how to kick police cars, spit on officers. yell, assault me, MFers at them while attempting to interfere with law enforcement. I mean, that's what the guy was doing. So maybe there'll be a seminar that shows how to do this. What an absolute loser. And don't worry, they're happening this weekend. They'll happen next week. There'll be a protest after that for another reason. Guys, government's about to shut down. What are you going to do that one? Is there going to be an anti-government shutdown protest today? No, lazy. Number two. A U.S. Representative Terri Sewell. Democrat out of Birmingham joined the push to defund ICE and impeach DHS Secretary Christine Ope. Remember, remember, there is going to be a lot of people who, about six months from now, who are going to tell you to fund ICE, defund the police. We never said that. We don't want that. Who would say such a thing? Not us. And you're going to have guys like Chris Love, the chairman of the Democratic Limestone Party. He's going to be like, um... I don't like defunding ICE. There's going to be a huge attempt to distance themselves from this. But right now they're trying to do it. She said that Minneapolis today could be Birmingham tomorrow. I wish. I'm sorry, I wish. That's the case. But I don't see that happening because, you know, mostly Alabama is turning over their criminal illegals. Not all cities, obviously. Tommy Tuberville said that the two protesters' death were unfortunate. but preventable with better democratic leadership. Good luck on that. Time for the number one thing you'll be talking about today. The White House and Democrats thought they had struck a deal to avert a government shutdown and fund homeland security. Despite ICE being funded for a year, Democrats continue to say that is a sticking point. But the deal appears to have fallen apart. The government could shut down this weekend, which it will shut down this weekend. And yeah, Speaker Mike Johnson thought the shutdown was pretty much inevitable. But we've spoken with Dale Strong, and while the shutdown will, in fact, happen, it will also probably end on Monday, possibly Sunday.
But the government shutdown is happening. So listen, government employees, I feel like I'm speaking directly to my wife. Listen. Saturday at noon, you're not going to have a job. Sunday at noon, you might. So you got 24 hours to get those baseboards done. All right? If I'm going to be pulling all the weight in this family, I'm going to need you to get those baseboards clean. Okay? Let's take a quick time out. 866-494 WVN and 866-494-986. That is, of course, the Coleman Furniture Market Free Speech phone lines. You can jump in right there. You can also text in your answer to our question today. You can put in your questions for 10 with him or... Tell Cindy the best way to get the scuffs off the baseboards. That's an important thing we need to talk about. Let's take a quick timeout. Arthur Orr joins us a little bit later in the program. Yaffe will be here as well. Hate at 8 and 10 with him. Slow me down. Try to get on my level. You can't. We'll be right back. Get WBNN's Dale Jackson seven things you should be talking about today. Right in your email box every morning. a bunch of furrow brows on CNN right now. Ah, it's delightful. Delightful. Oh, it's so beautiful. Listen to these people whine and cry. Why did they arrest on limit? Uh, because he's a criminal. But why? Why did they arrest on limit? Oh, because he decided to go into a house of worship. and participate in the storming of that house of worship where individuals screamed in the face of children and forced the service to end, thus depriving those citizens of their First Amendment right to exercise their religion. You're screwed. I'm a fan of this. They are so scared. Don Lemon, if it could happen to Don Lemon, it could happen to any of us. It couldn't happen to me. Because I would never go into someone's church, mosque, synagogue, or temple, and tell them that I'm here to make you uncomfortable. That's the First Amendment. Nobody would do that. And I'm ecstatic that he is under arrest. It makes me so happy that he is under arrest. Honestly, I got the bloodlust. Call it in reinforcement, so to speak, believing this could and would happen. It is notable that Lemon independent journalists, meaning it no longer works for a big media outlet. When he left CNN, he launched a YouTube channel, a substack, a variety of different platforms on social media to produce videos, some of which are very interesting. Don Lemon has in fact been arrested. He is the fourth person arrested in that situation. So congratulations to him and everyone else involved in that. You guys did a great job. And I fully support this. Let's be clear. You can tell me all the sad stories you want about how this is going to be a thing that is like, oh, it's a chilling effect on speech. You can tell me that all you want. And my response to that is this. Good. Good. I find these terms acceptable. I'm so very happy. Yes, it's a chilling effect on speech. If that speech is to take someone else's freedom away, then I want you to be chilled. And I think every time an American journalist gets slapped in the mouth. metaphorically, of course. And they're told, hey, you know how important you thought you were? You're not. You know how relevant you believe you were? You're not. You can't, and I think this lesson has to be learned. Look at what's happening on the streets of Minnesota. Look what's happening out there. On the streets of Minnesota, what you're getting. is a bunch of people shoving cameras in cop's face and be like, I'm a legal observer. I'm exercising my First Amendment. I'm a legal observer. I'm exercising my First Amendment. Like, that's what they're doing. To which I think sanity comes in and goes, no, that's not what you're interfering with law enforcement. And the journalists like Don Levin believe that this is like some blanket for him to do whatever he wants. I think it's nice to see that it's not. It could have a chilling effect.
Good. That's good. These are terms which I agree with. It should have a chilling effect. You guys have behaved in a way that is abnormal and unacceptable. And because of that, I do not want you having the ability to do that without repercussion. They went into a church because you thought it was safe to do so. And I think it's pretty funny that you're learning right now that maybe it wasn't as safe as you thought it was. Maybe it wasn't. Maybe you can't go in and scream in people's faces and tell them that they need to do what you want or you're going to ruin their church service. Maybe that's not going to work out too well for you. And that's good that that happened. And the arrest last week? In between when it happened and the next time people would generally be gathering for church service was a very good thing. It needed to happen and it needed to happen to shut down this nonsense. And you'll notice we did not see a lot of it or any of this actually where people went into a church and started screaming at people because the individuals got busted. That, I mean, that's the truth. Okay, that was the truth. That's what happened here. And they were unable to continue doing what they wanted to do because they learned that there were going to be consequences. And sometimes people need consequences. It's good for him. It's good for Don Lemon. Maybe he'll learn something from this. I doubt it, but at least he'll go to jail. That's funny. It's the Dale Jackson Show. Hey, I'm Chris Van Fleet. Go behind the scenes and beyond the headlines with the biggest names in pro wrestling and beyond. Mr. Sandman. All I ever wanted to be was a pro wrestler. So I got to live my life and make people really happy. The heartbreak kid himself, Sean Michaels. Do you think there's anybody better than you were? I think I was great at what I did. And I think other people were great at what they did as well. Greatness is more of mindset, I think, than anything else. Mindset, motivation, insight with Chris Van Fleet. Follow and listen on your favorite platform. platform.
Dale Jackson here with you. Thank you very much for joining us. All you government employees driving your way to work right now. Just remember government shutdown? Yeah. Okay. It's coming this weekend. But by Monday, you might be open. Tuesday at the latest. So good luck to everyone out there thinking you're going to get some time off. Just remember those baseboards need cleaned. So let's start working on that while you guys are unemployed. Okay. All right. I'm speaking directly to my wife. Baseboards. Let's go. Chop, chop. All right, moving on, let's bring our next guest on the program. His name is State Senator Arthur Orr. He represents the Decatur, Morgan County area, parts of limestone, parts of Madison as well. He joins us on the Alabama A&M $350 Bulldog Hotline. We always appreciate him taking the time to join us on Fridays after being down in the legislature. And I guess the first thing I want to ask him about is a couple of things happening down there. There's not a lot of crazy stuff happening. But we've talked about the online sales tax. We've talked about the impact it can have on different communities. We've talked about the counties and the cities and the cartel of mayors and all these other things going on. And the question I guess I have is you saw a judge basically said, hey, let's get some more input in here from the cities and the counties. Has this made any impact on the people in the Alabama State Senate? I would not say so just yet. It's kind of one of those things, Dale, that's looming on the horizon, but I hadn't heard a lot of dialogue regarding the lawsuit and our engagement in it. Okay, so there's not a huge point of conversation about this yet, which isn't too surprising. I'm not shocked by that by any means. I just, it's, I find it to be kind of a compelling story because in my mind, tell me if you disagree with this. Do you, does it sound to me like a judge could potentially write Alabama's tax code? It could happen, but what's going to happen is the judge is going to do what the judge is going to do, and then it's going to be appealed by the loser. And the loser will put it in the Alabama Supreme Court, and that will certainly take more time and more arguing and briefing, et cetera. So it's important what the judge says, but at the end of the day, the justices of the Supreme Court are going to make the final call. I told someone that I told someone that I would ask you this question. So I'm going to ask it to you the way I told them I was going to ask this question. So just bear with me here for a second. Alabama law currently prohibits sports gambling. It's not allowed. But prediction markets have come into the state of Alabama. And now it is allowed to gamble on sports and other things. In the next week.
next week, I'm going to start something I'm doing on this program where I'm going to bet $50 a day in these prediction markets just to highlight the fact that you guys can say gambling is illegal. They've come and done it. Now, The Alabama legislature has three options here. You tell me if I'm wrong about these being the options. One, get punked out like a bitch by these prediction markets where they just come in and say, oh, yeah, you're banning it? We don't care. We're going to do it. That's number one. Number two is to shut them down and ban them by deed and make that decision. And number three is to do what a lot of people want to do, and that is to further open the loophole a little bit. further and regulate those entities. Now, I would open the loophole, put it around their neck, and string them up for coming into the state and saying, we're going to do this gambling, even though it's not allowed. Has there been any talk in the Alabama legislature about this? And what do you think should happen? Well, as I understand it, and as we've established before, Dale, I am not the resident authority on gaming and all the... Then why do you keep asking me to play poker with you? Why do you keep doing that, Senator Orr? I'm just kidding. I just, you know, you can't take what I know to the bank because it is... I'm just not... Clued in on all the twists and turns. That being said, as I understand it, the prediction markets are covered by the Securities and Exchange Commission because it's, I'm going to call them brokerage type house, online brokerages that are hosting these as, you know, you would just bet on hog bellies or pork bellies or whatever in the agriculture. in the agricultural world or whatever the future prices of certain commodities, that this is a loophole under the SEC and the state has no jurisdiction and couldn't do anything about it. That's my understanding on the prediction side. Now, the sports gaming that we've had, you know, online sports betting and... betting on your phone and their companies that have been doing that for a decade or so now. Now, that group we can control, but that creates a course and uneven playing field because you've got the predictions folks coming in here and you can make what is tantamount to bet on all sorts of things. All right there. Hold on a second. Hold on, hold on. Just for everyone who's listening right now, I want to tell you something. I just look this up. I can bet. on a college basketball women's basketball game between North Alabama and Central Arkansas. I can bet on who wins this game, and there has been $31,000 already bet on this game between North Alabama and Central Arkansas. This game starts in 10 days, 10 hours, 49 minutes, and 34 seconds. There's been $31,000 bet on this game. If I bet for Alabama to win, I win five times what I bet. But...
It's a sports gambling app now, and I can do it right here right now. I can also bet on whether or not the government's going to shut down, which I have done. So, I mean, it's sports gambling, right? Oh, yeah. I mean, it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck. It is a duck. So, but our, as I understand it, our options on the predictions market, which are like, like you're showing or saying is pretty much sports betting, are limited because it's under federal, you know, control. And so that's, you know, kind of limits very much what we can do in that regard. But then that takes you to the next argument. If we can't stop that, why don't we go ahead and take the next step and just allow sports gaming. to occur because it's already occurring on Dale Jackson's phone and he's betting, you know, betting long on the, on the UNA lions, I guess, you know, for the hometown thing, so speak. By the way, Bill, you can't resist it, man. You could, you know, purple and gold. There you go. I think, I think this, I think the government should start one of these things. And whoever goes and bets on the UNA. women's basketball game 10 days from now, that person should be picked up and put in an internment camp because there's something wrong with that. There's something wrong with that. I don't know what crime they've committed, but they've committed a crime somewhere. There's something going on with those people. They've got too much money. Yeah, they're just like, oh, I need to hurry up and get this bet down 10 days from now on this. $31,000 total beat bet on that. Anyway, it's just insane. It's an insane. thing that's happening. And look, and I'm not telling you this, Senator Orr, I'm not telling you this because I want you to go down to the legislature and regulate gambling and tax it. I don't care if the government gets more money to do stuff. I don't want it to do. That's not my goal. I don't care. But I'm just saying, they're totally punking us out. In reality, what we should do, in my opinion, is outright making it illegal. I'm sorry, we should ban it. Just on principle that they're going to come in here and just tells us, oh, you say it's not allowed, well, we're going to do it anyway. I'm a spiteful man, Senator, and that's what we should do. Well, like I said, we got a preemption problem, and I don't know if a state has challenged that yet as far as the feds controlling that space. And, you know, as far as, you know, they would be up to the Congress to prevent sports betting on these, you know, or predictions market in the Securities and Exchange Commission world.
Yeah, it's weird. It's a very weird story here that is happening. And like I said, next week I'm going to make an ass out of myself for 28 straight days gambling on this because it irritates me. It bothers me. I'm literally mad about it. That's my takeaway. I'm upset about it. And I think I just look, I love gambling, but I don't want it here. All right. That's as simple as I can make. And I know that sounds crazy. I know that sounds nuts. But I cannot accept that we basically have people coming from out of state going, oh, those are some nice laws you got. Go to hell. I mean, that's which is exactly what they're saying. All right. Let's move past that into our question of the day. Senator Orr, a TV show. It can be online. It can be streaming. It can be anything. You can't say Alabama politics this week because I know that's what you're going to say. But what is. a good TV show that I should be watching right now. And it can be, as long as it is still in production, it is still airing somewhere that I've missed and that I need to check out. What do you got? I got nothing for you. I'm sorry. I just don't watch much TV. Do you have a TV? Do you have a TV? Do you have a TV? Do you have a TV? Yes, I have several. They're not plugged in. to receive a lot of broadcasting. I mean, we get stuff on the internet. But I read books. I read newspapers. I read online stuff, but I don't watch most TV. So you're watching like Fox News and CNN and stuff if you're watching TV. Is that the gist? Sometimes, but not a whole lot, because I can get it online and I can get it a lot quicker than sitting there waiting for them to get through the story. If I'm interested, I'll pop it online, you know, or hit the link. But if I'm not interested... I don't have time to sit there and, you know, wait on them to tell me something. When I put this question together, I knew that was going to be your response. I knew it. Oh, I know. I knew it. I knew it. I knew it. Absolutely. I knew it. Back to the legislature then. Since you want to continue to talk about the legislature instead of my fun topic of the day. The zone of all excitement and interest. Yes, that is exactly correct. Voting on other people's machines. I believe this is just a problem in the house, but it's come up in the Mo Brooks, James Lomax race. Mo Brooks has made it. Nathaniel Ledbetter has made it very clear where he stands on this. Establishment Montgomery is coming for Mo. Okay? Now, you can talk about the voting on the machine thing real quick if you want, but Establishment Montgomery versus Mo Brooks. I don't think that favors the establishment Montgomery. Your thoughts? Well, I'll revert back to voting on the machines. I assume you've informed your listeners what's going on and what the accusation is. And let me tell you, Dale, when I go down to the House, I chide my House colleagues about that practice and how we have to be in the chamber for the roll call votes and in the Senate and in the House.
They may not be anywhere near Montgomery. So as usual, Mo Brooks is right about this? To my knowledge, yes. Now, you know, that's house business, but they certainly can, you know, we just can't get away with that in the Senate. So Mo Brooks versus establishment Montgomery. Is that a battle they really want to fight? I don't know. I just have to leave that up to them to go back and forth. Most probably is conversant with the 21st century Montgomery. The last time he served in the legislature was several decades ago. But I assume he knows where the house is these days and the practices, et cetera. Okay. take issue with what he wants to stick issue with. I think that is going to eat up an in anordinate amount of time in Alabama politics over the next couple of months. It's a house race where 10,000 Republicans are going to vote, and it is going to get 10,000 news stories written about it. So good luck. Every person gets their own news story to read. All right. Thank you very much to State Senator Arthur Orr, the most boring human being in the world for joining us here on the program. Not, doesn't even have it to plug in your TV. All right, find something to relax a little bit. All right, no, I'm just kidding. Senator, thank you very much for joining us here on the Alabama A&M $350 million bulldog hotline. We'll be right back. This is the Dale Jackson Show.
Bill Jackson here with you. Thank you very much for joining us. Thank you for your time today. Emily is recovering nicely from what I understand. I tried to get her to come back to work today, but she's being lazy and hasn't got it done. So it looks like she hasn't quite figured out a way to get back to work yet. So she will not be with us. She may be with us next week at some point in time. She needs to hurry up because Dale doesn't work Super Bowl Mondays. She needs to get it together by then. Okay? So that's what we got to do. All right, lots of comments about what is a good TV show for us to start watching because, yeah, there's really nothing good on TV in my opinion. But you guys are saying that I'm completely wrong about this. Let's get your guys' thoughts in here. The only shows worth watching are NCIS and the prequel origins. The Blue Bloods spin-off, Boston Blue is good, but not quite on the Blue Bloods level. Okay. NCIS has always been a show that I find interesting. The ones I've seen on replay and stuff like that look pretty good. I may have to check that out. This is one that keeps coming up, and I think it's interesting. Fantastic show on Paramount Plus, Landman with Billy Bob Thornton. A lot of people throw this one out there. Landman has come up a lot. There's been a couple of shows that keep popping up here. Will Trent on ABC is a great show. Currently four seasons in. Airs on Tuesdays 7 p.m. I'll tell you that is a pretty good promo right going on there. Tell me exactly what's going on, where it airs and all that. You just made the list. Never heard of that, but all right. Memory of a killer with Patrick Dempsey. Okay, so all these shows are dramas. That's what it looks like to me. If you have an answer for this, I will take it. What is a TV show that is a sleeper show that we should be watching? Landman keeps coming up. 866-494 WVNN. That's the one that keeps coming up. I've never heard of these other shows. I've never heard of, I've never heard of, what am I trying to say here? I've never heard of memory of a killer. with Patrick Dempsey. That sounds like a Bugsy show, I'll be completely honest. Bugsy, have you heard of that? No, I have not. Why does it sound like a Bugsy show? Because it's weird. I mean, that's just the truth of the matter. Just the truth of the matter. I'm just telling you the truth. Fallout. It's awesome. It's American. It's on Amazon Prime. And on TV. Why were there so many pauses? You just made the laugh. I just love it sometimes. The British guy sounds so earnest. He's American. He is super into Fallout. I mean, he is really into that. I mean, he's like, it's American. It's awesome. You could almost hear like the national anthem behind that. I'll tell you why it is. It came in in multiple texts and that, so there was a space there for it. Fallout is the best show on television right now. Two seasons and they're currently on the last two episodes of season two. It's on Prime. You just made the list! It's on a... It's on a...
It comes I never mind I was going to say it comes in on bottles of Logan Paul Prime that's I had to watch it had to watch it on the bottle but I think he means Amazon Prime and you're probably correct on that so yes I that one keeps up Bugsie fall out the video game that's the video game thing right yeah yeah did you play it yeah I've played it I still played every once in a while If I understand the premise of fallout, it's the world is ending in like the 1950s, but it's like super technology has super advanced beyond where it is today with robots and stuff like that. Hold on. Let me just lay out what I think it is, and you tell me what I'm wrong. There's been like some sort of nuclear war. But before this, a company built a bunch of vaults for people to hide from the nuclear war. And inside those vaults, there were like all sorts of different experiments and stuff. So, like, people are freaks or they've been monstrousized. Some people got nuclear fallout on them, and they've turned into monsters. I believe Walgagan plays one of those torch creatures or something like that. They're ghouls. Goals, yeah, I guess it's like, okay, so is that pretty close to the- It's kind of close, yeah. So what am I missing here? What's the show about it? Really, you're kind of spot on except where I was just going to say that the whole premise of like the, how it's like 1960s, it's not really, it's the future in it technically, but it's basically we went all in on nuclear-powered things instead of like... gas powered vehicles and stuff like that. So like all the cars are nuclear. Is it the future? It is. So in the games it is, it's like 2077 or something like that or like 2100. That's what I'm talking about. So like it's as if in the Cold War we went nuclear fully. And then the Cold War never ended. Gotcha, gotcha. So did you just hear me sneezing in the microphone? I did. Okay, so I reached over to hit it and I hit the wrong button. So there we go. Okay, so I think fallout sounds interesting. Landman sounds interesting and Fallout sounds interesting. Is Landman the continuation of Yellowstone or whatever that is? I've never heard of it. Okay, all right. Would the answer Wheel of Fortune win me a T-shirt? Oh, wrong button there. No, we're not doing T-shirts today. We're doing $50 gift cards to Twin Peaks. But Wheel of Fortune is a good answer technically because it answers all of the questions that I ask. I want to know how Vanna White looks younger than Ryan Seacrest.
Hotness and money, man. That's how it works. I think they're swapping her out. Honestly. I think they're swapping her out. Okay, she's an android. The new Game of Thrones series just came out. I've never been able to get into it. Fantasy has never interest me. And I can tell you exactly the moment that I can tell you that fantasy lost me. Black Crystal. That's it. That's the Jim Hinson one, right? That's like the only Jim Hinson thing I never liked. Yeah. That turned me off fantasy for the rest of my life. Isn't it dark crystal? Yeah. Is it dark crystal? There you go. If streaming is acceptable. Fallout series on Amazon Prime is fantastic. My wife doesn't know anything about the video games, but I have enjoyed them. But we have both enjoyed it. Okay, I think I might check that out. I like Walt Guggins. I think he's pretty good. He was in the Shield. He was in the hateful aid, all that stuff. Okay, good answer. You just made the list. It's the Dale Jackson Show. Jim Rome takes on sports. Part of what makes this show, the show within the show. The biggest topic on the show always seems to be the show itself. This is a way to give you clones a way to interact with one another. Yes, we will be going through the chat. Yes, it'll be a part of the program. The only thing that could ruin the show are the old school clones spitting up the same bull crap that they always have. The jungle is out taking names and ready to dominate. Let's get it. The Jim Rome Show podcast. Follow and listen on your favorite platform. Form. Bill Jackson Show, and it's only on News Talk 770 a.m. 925 FM WVNN. Depend on it.
Our friends in the media are in full-blown panic mode, and I love it, I love it, I love it. Arrest more of them. If this is authoritarianism, sign me the hell up. Let's do it. Watch out Demetriot green over there at Way 31. We're coming for you. I don't think that's actually true. But Don Lemon has been arrested. And he is, everyone's freaking out about it. And I fully, fully support the freak out. I'm a big super fan of this panic. And I cannot wait. to see everyone freaking out about this. All right. We got Yaffy here with us. Very excited to have him here. We are very excited to be here with you. Right now we got Bugsie. We got Hated 8 coming up here in just a minute. We'll get Yaffy's answers to our question of the day. We got Hayden 8 coming up right now. And man, there is a lot to be hating on today. There is a lot to be hating on today. And I'm very excited about it. So let's go ahead and get right to it right here right now. Now we have a hey to date coming up, but first let me remind you about my good friend. Matt Curtis and the Matt Curtis Real Estate Team. You know about Matt Curtis, right? Of course, everyone knows about Matt Curtis. Matt Curtis, the Matt Curtis Real Estate Team. That guy's amazing. I'll just be honest. You guys are amazing. Thank you very much for being here. And we will continue to get into all of this stuff with you. I'm very excited to be here with you right now. So let's get to it. It's my favorite segment every single day. It's time for hate as me. I'm as bad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore.
What's got you steamed? What's got you mad? Tell us now. It's time for hate at eight. Now, if any of you got anything else to say, now! that's right scout pest control brings it to you the bugs hate them the pest hate them i love them and you'll love them as well scout pass control you know who they are you know what they do they've helped me with pests they'll help you with pest they'll help us all with pest scout pest control dot com i'm a big fan you should be a big fan as well uh talk to jared and his team they're going to get them out whether it's bed bugs inside your beds Brown recluses inside your attic, termites inside your walls, mosquitoes outside, whatever it is, Scout Pest Control is on top of it. ScoutPest Control.com. Talk to those guys today, and when you do, make sure you tell them Dale Jackson sent you. All right, let's go ahead and get right to it. You can jump in here and get your hates in or your questions for 10 with him or your answers for our question of the day. That's the Scout Pestcontrol.com, WVNN, hot. Take tax line. Bugsy, you're up first. What do you hate on? I'm hating on my favorite gas station. They are no longer my favorites. Uh-oh. I hate them now. I hate them so much. You've been bullying them for years. Years is in like the last nine months. Yes. Yeah. It must be pregnancy brain. I just hate them. Now, so they, they move my favorite employee to, like, later in the day. So now when I go, I don't get a discount. And the guy, he's not nice. The one that works there now in the mornings. You're going to get these people in trouble. Probably. The, you know, it's funny you can form like this. parisocial relationship with people you never actually talk to. Oh, I talk to the lady. I'm not suggesting that. I'm just saying, I'm like, you just, people you just like interact with every day. You kind of just, you form a bond. They start to know you. You start to know them. And it's just kind of, yeah, I can see why that would be somewhat traumatic there. It's very traumatic, very traumatic. And today when he asked me how I was doing, that's not actually what he said. And I said, doing great. And he said, hello. That's all he said. All right. You guys seem to have it a good time. What a monster. What a monster! All right, back to the phones here. H8 on Dale for not knowing the Dukes of Hazard is the greatest TV show of all time. Nothing like taping a stick of dynamite to an arrow, and it's sailing in the air and a jumping General Lee. I like the Duke's a Hazard. I assume that's an answer to her question of the day as well. You just made the list. It's still going on, though. Yeah, name a good TV show, but you're right, you're right. That's right. No question of the day for you, because that's right. Bugsie, those are the rules, the rules where the show has to still be being made.
So that's a good one. I think they should make a dukes a hazard, only they replace the General Leaf and the Confederate flag with the General Martin Luther King Jr. and they put a BLM fist on the top of it. That's what I think they should do. Yeah, for your thoughts. It probably will. I would just love to see it. Although it would be, it would be Malcolm X. Let's be honest. It would not be what? It would be Malcolm X. It wouldn't be. Oh, sorry. Instead of generally, they'll call it the Malcolm X and I have a BLFIS on the top. All right. Good deal. Good deal. Yaffy, what do you hate on? So here's some low-hanging fruit for this show, but I'm hitting on taxes. Oh, oh, oh, my God. I think he just shouldn't hate them. Yavvy's coming in hot. Go ahead, yeah. Bring the fire. Well, you know, we got a little bit of a bonus from Cumulus this past paycheck. Did that hit? Did that hit? And the taxes were way more than I thought. Did it hit Yaffy? What do you mean? Did it hit? Did it hit your bank account? Yeah. Oh, yeah. The bonus? Yeah. But it's not much of a bonus because the government's taking it all away. Look at this guy. That is some entitled nonsense right there. I'm hating on Yaffi for being so damn entitled. I love how he said we. We got a bonus. Yeah. Okay, Yaffey. Yeah, he's not shared. That's for sure. Okay. All right. Jeez, oh, my God. Don't out me. Hating on the victimizers calling themselves the victims. Well, that's a good evergreen hate. That's a forever hate, my friend, because that's a good one right there. Thank you very much for that. Dale, what are you hating on? Thank you, Yaffy. I have a sports hate.
Like you don't have the button yourself every time. I was told not to hit that button by you. No, I told you not to hit the ones for bits, like the hated eight thing. Okay, got it. All right, we'll live and learn. I'm hating on ESPN. They have gone, and I love wrestling, Effie, but they have gone all in on wrestling. Really? Yes. And look, I get that they're carrying it and all this other stuff, but. I don't want them treating it like it's real. Okay, I don't, I don't want them to. I don't want them having conversations on it. They're on K-fabe too? Yes, on their talking head shows. They're like debating like, like, is Jimmy Uso? Is he going to be back in time for the Royal? Shut up. No, I don't want to hear that. It's a credibility killer. I mean, it just is. Look. The WWE universe operates in that universe. Outside of that, everyone should treat it as if it is like the Fallout franchise. You have to treat it like it is an entertainment item. And you can discuss like the motivations and characters and the stories and stuff. But. It's very strange. And I get wrestling's different. You know, you don't, you know, Tom Cruise doesn't go on a show and then they be like, so, Jack Reacher, how did you feel when you beat this guy? You know, they don't do that. But in the wrestling world, when they, when John Cena shows up on, you know, Good Morning America, they're talking to John Cena the wrestler, right? And so they're playing their character 24-7. I don't want that from ESPN. I like to suspend belief. I love wrestling itself. A bit of a wrestling tag team champion myself. You know, some people say. You know, facts say. But it bothers me. You got a problem with this? You have a ESPN going all in? It's weird. That's how I would put it. Because I would almost be like, wait, is this a bit? Or do they actually? Believe what they're saying? I don't know. That's... So what has happened is, I guarantee you. Like, let's just say I'm pardon. I haven't seen this. I'm just throwing this out here. My favorite show is pardon the interruption. I stole their format for Alabama politics this week. Everyone knows that. So if they are, if Wilmot and Kornheiser on part of the interruption are debating the Royal Rumble, that means... that someone at ESPN said, hey, you guys need to debate the Royal Rumble. And they're like, okay. And that just, it, it sort of pierces the veil. It makes it look like ESPN is a work as well, right? Well, and the rest of sports. Right. Like basketball. You're going to watch basketball and be like, wait. Is this a work too? Is this a setup? Oh my God. You know, my kid says to me all the time. He's like, give me a work elbow. And I'm like, okay. And he's like, give me a shoot elbow. And I'm like, not doing that.
I'm like, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not dropping a legitimate elbow. He's like, give me a shoot elbow. And I'm like, oh, no, I'm probably not going to do that. But the Royal Rebel is this weekend, which I'm all in on. And I'm excited to watch it. There's no question about that. But I do not want ESPN covering it. I just, I don't like, they ask Nick Saban. I don't know if you guys saw this. I'm going to pull it up here real quick. This is how bad. Yeah, I did not. So they, they asked Nick Saban a question. And, and I just, I can't, I don't want this. Okay. I'm just going to, I'm going to put it this way. They asked Nick Saban a question about a wrestling man. They were, you know, they do the, the little thing on college game day. where they go and they say, okay, you're picking the teams and stuff, who's going to win? Yeah. So listen to, just listen to this. Oh, no. Just listen to this. Tonight, he beats the hell. And at John Sina, wrestle for a loser in Indianapolis. Not so fast, my friend. John Sina, you can't see me. I just can't take that seriously. I'm not sure you're supposed to, though. They're all kind of laughing. But right, but he's, it's just so scripted. It's a, they're, they're working, yeah, Fee. I don't want them working. I want them shooting. Okay, that's what I want to do it. Okay? I just, I can't. It bothers me and I hate it. So are you, so, yeah, you've come around? You want to see more of this from Nick Haven? I don't know. That was pretty funny, actually. Oh, my God. Let's take a quick break. Stop it. I don't want to hear any more about it. We're done. The segment is over. Get your questions in for 10 with him. We'll continue right here. 866 494 WVN. You can't see me, Yaffee. We'll be right back. Dale Jackson.
Jackson here with you. Thank you very much for joining us. Thank you so much for your time today. And every day you are here with us, you know, I think the best show on TV right now is the news because Don Lemon has been arrested. So I think that's the best story on the news right now. I think it is the best, the best TV show is the news. So that would be my answer. Yeah, Fee, the question of the day is this. What is a good TV show for us to be watching that we're not watching right now? For me, I can't think of any good TV shows that are on right now that are, except for American Dad, that are still in production, that are currently on television. It can be streaming, I guess. What is a good one? We'll get to your answer here just a second. You can get your answers in right now here. today on the Colman Furniture Market Free Speech phone lines at 866-494 WVNN, also the ScoutPest Control.com, WVNN, hot take text line. You can get that in as well, and you can email me. You've got mail. Dale at WVN.com. You can jump in right there, too, and you can get on the Downtown Rescue Mission.org email inbox. Gaffee, right now, The Vision. is on ESPN. The Vision is a wrestling faction live from Saudi Arabia. That should not be on. They should not be on right now. They really have bought it all in. It is, it is ridiculous. It is absolutely ridiculous. All right. Give me an answer to that question, yeah. What's a show that I'm not watching that I should be watching? The new Tim Allen show, shifting gears. I like it. New sitcom. Okay. The one with the chick from a. from Thor and yeah yeah in some of the other movies or whatever her name is yeah yeah okay all right but he he's just good and every sitcom he's in is just always good is she dry and sarcastic in this show oh very yes oh because that's the only character she plays okay yeah it's it's her character but it's good it works Yeah, no, she has been typecast and she's living the gimmick. There's nothing wrong with the gimmick she's living. It's working for. So kudos to her on that one. Okay, so we have some more of your responses to this question, and we got a $50 gift card to share with you to Twin Peaks. And some of these shows that people are saying, I've never even heard of them. And this is kind of an interesting thing to see because I'm like, what is this? But here we go. Season 4, Season 4VL episode 21 of Greg Abbott Elementary titled Rally. concerns bad school boards. All their school board episodes would perfect viewing for Dale. Man, you need to go back to Greg Abbott Elementary because I don't know what the hell you're trying to say there. I'm assuming you're saying season four, episode one, no, season four, episode 21 of Greg Abbott Elementary is a show called Rally. That is about a bad school board, so they would be good for viewing for me. Okay. So it's the only good episode of that show. Do you know that for a fact? No, that's...
I'm assuming it's what they're saying. It's not a real answer. It's so specific. It's like, geez, all right. No, I like that answer, but it's just, it's very specific. Yeah. Yeah, have you ever watched Greg Abbott Elementary? No. No. No interest. Yeah, the first season isn't very good. It gets better. Okay. All right. The guy from everybody hates Chris is on that. That's the only reason I watched it. And the only thing I can remember about him is him getting his face ripped off in The Walking Dead. That's it. The only thing I can remember about him. It is a very gory death. They literally rip his face off. It is, it's something. I like Ghost on CBS. It's a little woke where IE of the Ghosts is gay, but otherwise it's good. I'll tell you this right now. My mom likes that show. So I'm assuming it's very lame, but I also assume Yaffi likes it. I've never seen it. Okay. It's pretty late. You're assuming wrong about me today. I know. I didn't know you were watching all this hardcore porn instead of TV. I'm sorry. It was my bad. Actually, I'm watching Bluey and Daniel Tiger. Daniel Tiger. Did you have to watch that? Daniel Tiger. I love Daniel Tiger. That's what I have to watch these days. I love Daniel Tiger. I mean, it is such a good show. And I'm like, Very upset that Grant aged out of that so quickly. Because it's such a good show. And I mean, he's such a nice little tiger. He's such a, but he's such a whiny little baby too. Well.
It's such a good feel, and a very good feel. I just found this. That I'll be back when the day is new. And I'll have more ideas for you. And you'll have things you'll want to talk about. I will too. Because it's you I like. It's really good, yeah. I mean, I'm sorry. Daniel Tiger, he's a whittie little bitch, but he is, he is Mr. Rogers neighborhood song, which is good too. Yeah, God. I forgot how good that was. You know, I'm going to say this out loud, but nobody repeat this. I told Grant that he was too old for Peppa Pig, and he got very upset. Oh, really? He got very upset. I was like, I felt so bad. I felt so bad. Because I wasn't trying to be like a jerk or anything about it. I was just like, he said something. I was like, really? I was like, oh, man, I felt so bad. But I was wrong. He needed that, though. No, I was wrong. I was wrong. Why don't you watch a British show? They are bloody damn good with few English pricks. Jolly good ole bean. I think that guy just wanted to hear it. I was about to say, was that an actual text or did our British voice guy say that? Yeah, he's become sentient. Did he get Ole though instead of Ole? He spelled it wrong. He spelled O L. Yeah, hold on. jolly good old bean. There you go. That's better. I'll clean it up with the Spanish. When we come back, Dale Strong, he talked to this earlier about the government shutdown. We're going to share that with you again. I thought it was a good conversation. We reached out to him and said, hey, what's going on with this thing? And he jumped out immediately and said, hey, let me jump in here and talk with you about that. And he did. So we got that coming up here in just a bit. Dale Strong will be with us. Don't forget, you could still get your questions in for 10 with him at the end of this program. Please do that. Stay tuned. This is the Dale Jackson Show. News Talk 7.70 a.m. 92-5 FMWVN. Hey, don't forget right now, well not right now, but in a couple minutes, sweet deal. Yep, sweet deal, sweet deal. Literally, smoothie king, sweet deal, great deal right there. Go to WVN's website, WVNN.com, click on the sweet deal, and you're going to get a great deal on some smoothies. I'm drinking one right now. It is called an activator, strawberry and banana. It's got some protein in it. I need that because I'm bulking. I've been bulking my entire life, though, so there's that. Yeah, you understand what I'm saying, being fat and everything, right? Why do you keep calling me fat? It's just not true. I'm trying to give you body issues. If you want to see how fat yaffy is, Twin Peaks next Friday, we'll be broadcasting a pregame, big game, pregame. I think we should call it that for now on Yavvy. Pregame, big game, pregame at Twin Peaks. I like it. From five to seven.
and we will be giving you all of our football knowledge. It will be broadcasting on Jocks Huntsville. I'm going to be scarfing down some wings too, so it doesn't help the image. You should get a fat suit for Yaffi and like a muscle suit for you. Well, giving Yaffi a fat suit's a bit redundant. What's going to like double it? It's going to look insane. Exactly. All right. T-shirts over it. Okay. Well, that might restrict it. All right. Enough. Let's move on. Let's get to 10 with him. Ten. It's time to answer the deep questions. It's 10 with him. All right. Ten questions in about 10 minutes, politics, personal, pop culture, pro wrestling, parisocial relationships, and personal attacks. which I think is pretty fitting for this show. That's what we do here. You can get your answers in just a second. So jump into the pool right here. Blue Diamond Pools brings you 10 with him. We always appreciate them. BDPoolPros.com. Hey, listen, it's going to get warmer here soon, and Yaffee wants to get in your pool. So get your pool ready. BDPoolPros.com. They can help you with that, Blue Diamond Pools. Yaffy, if a listener writes in and says you can come swimming their pool, will you go swim in their pool? No. I don't think so. Yes. I heard it here first. Yeah, he says he's going to come to swim in your pool. So there we go. We got 10 with him. The start of a horror movie, it sounds like. Yes. Get your, yeah, you have to get in a pool does sound horrible. 866-494. WVNN. That is the Scout Pass Control.com. WVNNN. Hot take text line. Get those texts in. Right now and we'll get it. Yeah, you're going to love these questions. There's a lot of them for you. So I want to make sure that you get ready for because these people, they love you and they want to hear more about you. Did Dale just announce that he is firing Yaffi live on the air? No. No, that would not be on the air. Just know, when someone gets fired in this business, you don't get fired on the air. It's not a big flashy thing. What happens is you just get fired and they pretend you've never existed. That's how it works. It's not none of this other stuff. So just keep that in mind. I first heard about the website Bovada by listening to Dale. Now he is all against sports gambling. Who is payroll, are you on? The Porch Creek's or Tunica. It's a really good question, actually. And here's the straight up answer. I had a kid, and I'll tell you what happened. I saw a ton of gambling ads in everything. We're watching a football game. There's 11 gambling ads in like eight minutes. I'm not on anyone's payroll at all. well, except for Cueblos broadcasting, but no gamblers are paying me. And no, I don't need to be paid. Even if I did take money from gamblers, I would only do so in the sense that I can say whatever I want, whenever I want. So I do appreciate your premise here that I'm like for sale, but that is not the case. And to further that point,
Starting on Monday, I will be placing a $50 bet every single day on the Kalishi website. Yeah, is that it? Kalishi? It's a prediction market that's legal in Alabama. And I'm not getting paid for that. I'm just proving a point that you can do sports gambling all over the place. And you get to gamble. That's an interesting. You're against gambling, but you're going to gamble is what I'm hearing. I'm highlighting that it's happening in Alabama and that the legislators have been punked out. Go listen to my interview with State Senator Arthur, or I believe my exact words were, so what are you guys going to do? Act like a bunch of pun bitches or do something about this? Is that true? Bugsie? Yeah, and that's true. Okay. I mean, it's just, it's just interesting how somehow you created a bit where you still get to gamble. I like, I like that you ask like it's like some sort of like scam that I'm pulling. It's just ridiculous. Okay. I'm proving a point, yeah. Also, as I tell Grant all the time. I'm a giant hypocrite. So just keep that, keep that. You can't tell me, I can't say that. You say it all the time. I'm like, yes, but I'm a hypocrite. So stop it. That's as simple as it is. Now that we're over a year into the Trump administration, who do you think is the best, worst appointees of his cabinet? Spoiler alert. Best, Marco Rubio. Worst, Kristi Noem. You know what? I disagree. The best is Marco Rubio. Yeah, if you'll answer this question in a second. The best is Marco Rubio, mostly because he has 27 different jobs. So that's good. I believe he's actually, never mind. I'm not going to say what I was a big of joke. But anyway, the second thing is it's not Christy Nob. I think it's Robert F. Kennedy Jr.. I just think our... Yeah, he's just a distraction. I think he's a distraction. I don't think he brings anything quality to the table. But I was never too keen on that anyway. Your thoughts? I mean, Marco Rubio's doing half the president's job. So, of course, he's the best. Hey, I voted for him in 2016, so I'm fine with that. Yeah. Maybe Pam Bondi is the worst. And I used to like Pam Bondi, but... Who'd you vote for in 2016? Ted Cruz. Really? Even though you were living in Florida. Yeah, yeah, I was a cruise guy. So you voted for the Canadian. All right, way to go. Way to go, yeah. Why has Don Bin Lemon arrested for what? Inconvenient journalism. I love what voice text screws both the person texting and me. Why has Don Lemon arrested for what? Inconvenient Journalism. No, he wasn't arrested for incongenient journalism. He was arrested because he went into a church and started screaming at people and was part of a mob going in there. And Don Lemon being arrested is the greatest thing that's happening right now. Okay? Okay.
But it's the greatest thing happening Jimmy Kimmel cries about it. Yeah, that would be nice as well. But yeah, Don Lemon being arrested is not a tragedy. It is a hilariously awesome story. Here's a follow-up question, similar. Will Don Lemon get away with it? Yes. Don Lemon will get away with it. Yeah, you and I were discussing this off the air. When I said that to you, you were like, why would he get away with it? What's that about? You think he actually gets punished? No, I believe I said to you, I'm worried he's going to get away with it. And you said, he's totally going to get away with it. And I was like, I wanted to know why he thought that. Yeah, he's totally getting away with it. They're going to play the journalism card. Don Lemon is as much of a journalist as I am. And that's my response to that. And although I am Alabama's most trusted journalist, all that means is I'm not a journalist at all. Okay. That's how bad the state of journalism is. I am not a journalist. Don Levin should go to jail, but he will get off. See you next week. Dale Jackson. Hey, I'm Chris Van Fleet.
