Now time for the seven things you'll be talking about today. Number seven. So Terry and Allen has been alleged to be the quote unquote general manager of a scheme to lure people he thought had robbed him, a former driver and barber, I guess. Holden at gunpoint, beat him and rob him. He wasn't there, but he orchestrated the entire thing remotely. Nick Saban saw this guy got arrested. It was like, I think I should write this guy a letter talking about what an exceptional character, humility, kindness, and positive impact he had on his team during his time with the Crimson Tide. I mean, maybe. It's possible that that's true. I'm not suggesting that's not true, but holy cow, he's accused of pretty serious stuff. He never once gave me cause to question his conduct, his integrity, and his respect for others. I don't know. It seems like maybe there's some reason to question it, right? Okay. Number six. The upteenth story. Yep. The upteenth story here. We get it with Andrea Alvarez, who is a former school board member, who is now on her way out and going to file a lawsuit against the Choose Act. It's been written. It's unlikely to succeed. She is kind of irrelevant, but she is media hungry and media savvy. Okay? She is filing a lawsuit. I don't know what it means and what it will do. She says it's harder for to fight as an elected official than as not an elected official. I don't think that that's true. But I've really got to get off the board to be able to fully commit to attacking our legislators without harming Huntsville City Schools. I mean, that's her argument. It's like, okay. Okay. And she's got to get ready to attack those legislators. Okay. Number five. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, ICE. Or didn't someone want to rename it Nice? Remember that? They were going to start calling it the Nice. Like, oh, the Nice agents came and they arrested 35 people. Anyway, ICE agents showed up at a job site and arrested 30 people without documentation at a plant in Birmingham. Why? Well, because they were. doing unlawful employment practices. They arrested 30 individuals without legal immigration documentation. It's the latest one in Birmingham. We're seeing a little bit more of this. And advocates have stated that ICE was circling Birmingham like a snake. Ooh, that sounds awesome. But yeah, so they've been threatening or fearful of this since January. 30 people were arrested. No one ever said, hey, wait, they're legal. No one has to, what about arresting the people there? Number four. The Supreme Court ruled six to three to uphold states like Alabama's law allowing.

The cowardly caretaker former junior senator in an ill-fitting suit who looks like he just woke up and stole his shoes from a homeless person and it will never be governor, Attorney General, or United States Senator, Senator again. Doug Jay Jones is trying to drag Tommy Tuberville, the governor-elect National Championship winning coach United States Senator Tommy Tuberville into a courtroom in front of the Alabama Supreme Court so they can decide his residency. It really sounds like Democrats in this state. have some serious stuff they need to learn about before they get back at the game for real. Number two. The Supreme Court ruled five to four against President Trump's executive order ending birthright citizenship. I'm holding the 14th Amendment's guarantee of citizenship for those born on U.S. soil, regardless of parents' immigration status. But... Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh laid out a roadmap for going and changing the law. He laid out a roadmap for fixing this. And I don't know why people don't want to take it. But that's where we're at now. He said Congress could consistent with the 14th Amendment amend or otherwise enact new legislation establishing exceptions to birthright citizenship for children born to foreign citizens unlawfully or temporarily in the country. But Congress has not done so yet. So there's the fix. Now, time for the number one thing you'll be talking about today. Alabama Republicans are pissed. They are not happy about this at all, including Governor-elect National Championship winning coach, United States Senator Tommy Tuberville, who blasted the Supreme Court. He had an interesting theory. His theory is that these judges are afraid. I don't buy this. Okay, I'm just going to. I'm just going to tell you this. I don't buy this at all. But he suggests that all the anger over the Roe v. Wade thing kind of led to this conversation. And it led them to rule this way. I'm not sure I buy that. I am not sure that I buy that at all. Katie Britt said, I'm extremely disappointed to see this decision come out of the Supreme Court today. Congress must take action and end unlimited birthright citizenship immediately. But the majority of the globe does not recognize this form of citizenship that has been grossly exploited to the detriment of our country. Correct. Correct. That is exactly right. Gary Palmer said the ruling leave states with no pass of their own to act. That is correct as well. The Supurising Clause comes into play here. There's nothing the states can do at the state level. The other path to be introduced a constitutional amendment to change that. But I don't think we have enough state legislators now to ratify it. That's correct. But again, Brett Kavanaugh told you. He gave you the answers to the test. Brett Kavanaugh said, get this back in front of me and I'll rule this way. That's what he said. It's really the best way to go about this. He told you, if you put it in front of me, I'll rule differently. Okay.

Well, do that. Let's work on that particular thing. Now, you've seen Rand Paul sort of make a move in that direction. Great. You got to win elections. You got to implement laws. Executive orders don't work because eventually they can be undone by the next administration or they can be undone by the courts. Big L here for Donald Trump, but a roadmap has been laid out.
