Thank you, good sir. It is 501 on KTRH. Our top story, the Houston Chronicle reports that a Democrat City Council member. Letitia James Plummer is proposing to end HPD's cooperation with ice. As it stands right now, HPD is simply fulfilling their duty to enforce warrants. When they are running warrants on somebody, they are checking all jurisdictions. So they are executing the ice warrants just as they do with any other warrant. Council member Amy Peck says failing to uphold that simple obligation could land the entire city in hot water. That's something that they would have to vet. I have concerns about how we would be able to legally do it, but it would have to go through the legal department first. Peck added that on top of the questionable legality of the reported proposal, there's also significant safety red flags. Ethan Buchanan, News Radio 740, KTRH. By the way, we should tell you, Plummer did not respond to our request for comment. And this is why her reported proposal is a pretty bad idea. During the Chuck Schumer shutdown, ICE arrested more than 3,500 illegals in Houston alone. Many convicted of violent felonies.

Meantime, a South Texas sheriff says the rush of illegal aliens under Joe Biden has created a modern day slavery that's run by the cartels. These people have to be willing to provide labor and other services to pay off their final debt. I don't want a situation where it's going to incentivize people to flood into the state to claim a tax benefit. There wasn't a crime that they were investigating and they figured, well, we better go and try to solve it and do investigative research. No, they just found individuals who were a support. of the Trump returned to power back then and individuals that they could use to manipulate the facts and well technically they're not even manipulated facts they're they're creating facts that they can use to try to stop Donald Trump and at the time of course they were trying to convict him so this is egregious and a huge story when the chairman of the judiciary committee has his own personal records violated. Of course, the danger of this shouldn't have to be stated telling every single member of the military that they can decide what order is lawful and what is not is very, very dangerous. So President Trump has responded about as strong as one can. Some say... over responding to this, but he has declared that these individuals are guilty of, quote, seditious behavior talking about these six Democrats, by the way, members of Congress who made this video, which I'll play for you after traffic. Seditious behavior at the highest level. Each one of these traitors to our country should be arrested and put on trial, he wrote on Truth Social. Then later, he took it up a notch and suggested, quote, seditious behavior punishable by death.

What unlawful orders have they been given that would require such an extraordinary call for seditious activity, call for almost an insurrection against the government, the refusal of direct orders given by the unified chain of command? What orders have they been given that would be considered unlawful? And these are the questions that a whole lot of people are asking, including Secretary Pete Hegseth. He's ridiculing this ridiculous message. And it's one thing to ridicule it because the Democrats give us so much to ridicule on a regular basis. But it's another thing to literally point out that there is activity here that borders on sedition.

It would certainly make a lot of sense, and it would not surprise me one iota. If President Trump didn't make that happen, as soon as Zohran Mamdani steps foot into the office, just blast that music. because that is exactly what he is. They like to use the modifiers, they being the liberal Democrats who voted for this very dangerous individual with his very dangerous socialist slash communist ideology and his Islamist ideology as well. So what do Americans think about the current state of the economy and the affordability question here in the United States? According to a Fox News poll, I don't think much of it. They're not happy at all. Some 76%. Again, this is a Fox News poll. This isn't one of the CNN polls.

or ABC News. 76% of the voters view the economy negatively right now, which is worse than the 67% who felt that way in July. 70% felt that way at the end of Biden's term. Large numbers overall and among Republicans of people say their costs have gone up on groceries, utilities, health care, and housing. And voters blame the president. About twice as many say President Trump rather than Biden. is responsible for the current economy. This despite the fact, of course, that Biden presided over the worst inflation crisis that we have seen in over 50 years, and the fact that the federal interest rates refused to be raised, or rather, I should say, the Fed share has refused to raise the federal interest rates to give Americans more flexibility to, indeed, invest in things like houses. Three times as many people, though, say Trump's economic policies have hurt them. That's the same number. said the same thing about Biden, by the way, during his term. But the bottom line is, the economy is in a rough spot according to three quarters of Americans. The question is, are they right? Or are these individuals being misled and manipulated by a media that just over the last 43 days or over the 43-day period of the federal shutdown spent all of that time blaming... President Trump for it. So we're going to talk about what this really means. It's good to have you. So voters aren't real thrilled right now, according to what the Fox News survey showed. And they're saying that the high cost that they are seeing in certain areas of our economy are the president's fault. What do you make of that?

It's human nature to blame whomever is in leadership for whatever the economic downturn is at that time. That's usually the trend that's happened. We've seen that in years past. But let's be clear, the economic storm or the downturn that we're seeing right now, it's based on years of spending, regulation, and inflation. It's not something that just started in 2025. And the president has been very good at creating a platform of fiscal discipline, low taxes, energy, and strong job creation. What he has to do and what Republican leadership has to do is to go back to that and emphasize that, to reassure voters that the decision they made in re-electing the president is a good one. There are select items, especially when it comes to the grocery side of things in costs. Bananas, people have talked about beef, meat, in general, coffee is a lot higher. And President Trump looks like he's trying to target those particular items by lowering terrorists from the countries that produce some of those things coming in. Why do you suppose it is that only certain items are much more expensive that might be leading people to think that their overall grocery bills are higher? Well, I think what you mentioned earlier with the messaging, the president is focused on certain tariffs and certain issues, and that's the price difference that we're seeing, that we're feeling the impact of. But we're not getting the message that he's really focused on prioritizing affordable groceries, even affordable housing. That message is not getting to the typical voter, definitely not through mainstream media. And what the president and others have to do is to emphasize what this tariff regulation that he has emphasized in putting Americans first, how the ultimate outcome, he said it was going to be a little rough before he got better and how the ultimate outcome will be better prices overall. When President Trump ran for re-election or election a second time, you know, the largest part of the message, well, there are two messages. One was border and the other was the economy. The other was affordability and inflation. You know, we called it Biden inflation because for four years it was an absolute nightmare for people. And that's one of the reasons why he won. Why do you think it is that suddenly now just 10 months in, they're giving Biden a pass. They came in saying, you know, voters came into this term saying, yeah, we wanted to get Biden out of there. Biden's policies then reflected in Kamala Harris's candidacy. We didn't like that, but now suddenly they're longing for the days of Biden inflation?

Not quite. Again, people are looking for someone to blame. And, you know, the results are not happening as quickly as they thought that they should or it's not happening as quickly as they want. Look, this is the time to sharpen the message and to accelerate the agenda. This is not a calling on negative Trump politics or saying that Trump politics are not doing what they're supposed to do. This is a referendum to say, look, we are not happy with the grocery prices and we need to do something. And Republicans need to sharpen their message and say this is exactly what the platform is going to do and how it's going to help us in the future. Like we said, he was just in office for a couple of, 2025 is not even over yet. So to have a referendum on President Trump and blame him for issues that we're having now, even though we've had these issues for several years, it's not really very rational. No, and it's not fair either, I would say Jackie. Jackie Belly is our guest. Last one is on gas. 54% say gasoline prices are higher this year. I don't understand that. I don't see it. And President Trump, of course, made that, of course, made that a priority in his campaign. Drill baby drill, we're going to unleash American energy the way we had it during the first term. Those things don't happen overnight. Changing policies take some time and then actually implementing some of those policies takes time too. Americans think their gas prices are higher now than they were for the last four years? Never, you have a downturn or a slump in the economy. You start picking on certain things. Gas is something that we have to use, something that we have to put in our cars. Groceries is something that we have to buy. We have to put them in our homes. And so those are the two that we're going to drill down on the most if we don't see a sharp decline. Lower energy costs is something that President Trump... was very successful with in his first term. And it's something that he's drilled down that he will be successful with in his second term. So, of course, if we don't see that immediate downturn in those prices, we are going to complain. Until that happens, we are still going to complain. So that's why you're seeing people to continue, even when it was started at the ending of the Biden administration, and now it's continuing into this one. The downturn, you probably won't see until his third year. And that will be markedly very successful going into a re-election of another Republican presidency. So in other words, pack your patience, voters, pack your patience. Things are working. It's going to take a little bit of time. You don't break things in a, and you know, Biden didn't break it in a blink of an eye. It took four years to destroy things as badly as he did. A recent immigration rate in San Antonio resulted in more than two dozen people arrested with ties to Tren Dioragua. Texas Congressman Tony Gonzalez says this is what you get when law enforcement works together. When you put state, local, and federal resources together, this is exactly what works and we need more of it. And in Houston, ICE arrested more than 3,500 illegals during the Chuck Schumer shutdown. Many had criminal records. Despite this, the Houston Chronicle reports that city council member, Letitia James Plummer, is proposing to stop. HPD from working with ice. It's a lot of red flags for sure. And we're talking about a wide range of reasons why someone could have a warrant out for their arrest. So to just blanketly say that we won't wait for ice to come, I think that's really dangerous. Council member Amy Peck says the proposal is dangerous. We reached out to councilwoman Plummer's office. She did not respond. Elsewhere, Texas Governor Greg Abbott has ordered DPS to launch a criminal investigation into both the Muslim Brotherhood and care. What that designation does, it prohibits them from being able to buy or own property in the state of Texas.

Abidon Fox Cair sued the governor for designated them, a foreign terrorist group. It is now 603 on KTRH. President Trump meets with New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani today. Keep in mind, Zohran Mamdani was on a months-long crusade against Trump during the campaign. My team reached out to the White House to set up this meeting because I will work with anyone. to make life more affordable for the more than 8.5 million people who call the city home. Yeah, but this is why the meeting is really happening. Zohran Mamdani knows he needs federal funding, and he knows he can only get it from Trump. Socialist Katie Wilson says she no longer needs her parents to help her out with the bills now that she's mayor of Seattle. But she also said she had no problem taking the cash from her parents during the campaign. A lot of people of my generation and younger and older found it very relatable that during this stressful campaign, you know, my parents chipped in to help to pay for the cost of their granddaughter's daycare. And I think, you know, families help each other out. Wilson on CNN, by the way, she's 43 years old. 604 on KTRH. New Fox polly finds that nearly 80% of voters view the economy in a negative light. Political analyst Jeff Carrere says the Fed isn't doing President Trump any favors. We need to see more interest rate reductions as well because you don't have people that are able to buy houses because of very high mortgage rates. When President Trump left office in 2021, interest rates were 2.75%. Today, it's more than double that. He adds that the overall inflation rate is much better than it was under Joe Biden, but the White House has to do a better job of getting that message out there. The September jobs report was way better than expected with 119,000 jobs. This is being called an example of the Trump economy being... far better than it's being given credit for. People are under-hyping this economy big time. We're seeing huge investment numbers. We're seeing great consumer spending numbers. I mean, if consumers are so dower, why are they all running out spending money at such a brisk pace? Economist Steve Moore on Fox Business. Now futures are up 107 points this morning. Texas Congressman Chip Roy says there's resistance on Capitol Hill to the effort to crack down. on stock trading by members of Congress. I don't think they understand that the American people are tired of, you know, members of Congress day trading and enriching themselves. Roy with Breitbart, he'll join us at 720. Investors are starting to temper their expectations for an interest rate cut next month. That's because the Bureau of Labor Statistics announced a new schedule of data releases and the October jobs report isn't on it. We don't know where things are. We've been cutting and we should finish the cutting cycle or keep going with the cutting cycle because, again, the fourth quarter GDP will take a definite hit from the shutdown.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent says after the shutdown will impact things. You talked about Republicans taking money from a Jeffrey Epstein. Here's what you said. Who also took money from somebody named Jeffrey Epstein as I had my team dig in very quickly. Mitt Romney, the NRCC, Lee Zeldin, George Bush, Wynne Red, McCain Palin, Rick Lazio. You mentioned Lee Zeldin there. He's now a cabinet secretary. He responded and said it was actually a Dr. Jeffrey Epstein, who's a doctor that doesn't have any relation to the convicted sex trafficker. Unfortunate for that doctor, but that is who donated to a prior campaign of his. Do you want to correct the record on the people that? I never say that it was that Jeffrey Epstein, just so that people understand when you make a donation, your picture is not there. And because they decided to spring this on us in real time, I wanted the Republicans to think about what could potentially happen because I knew that they didn't even try to go through the FEC. So my team, what they did is they Googled. And that is specifically why I said, A, Jeffrey Epstein, unlike Republicans, I at least don't go out and just tell lies. Because it was not the same one, that's fine. But when Lee Zeldin had something to say, all he had to say was it was a different Jeffrey Epstein. He kind of did. And he called you what you are, overwhelming stampede of stupid in the process. He said, no relation. You're an idiot. He didn't say you're an idiot. I'll add that you're an idiot. Jasmine Crockett is an idiot. She happens to sadly, though, be the very best that the Democrat Party has to offer right now. How do we know that? Because she's literally the only one that is on camera every five seconds. She is the one that they have trotting out there sharing their message. And her message was that a, Jeffrey Epstein, some Jeffrey Epstein,

contributions to Republicans therefore they are just as guilty as Stacey Plaskett of colluding and coordinating during a congressional hearing, a committee hearing, with the Jeffrey Epstein. I never said it was that Jeffrey Epstein. Then why would you bring it up at all if you didn't think it was that Jeffrey Epstein? He admitted that he did receive donations from a Jeffrey Epstein, so at least I wasn't trying to mislead people. You weren't trying to mislead people. Why would you bring it up if it was a different Jeffrey Epstein? The bottom line is she tried to flex her team's research. powers. My team went out there and they checked and they found that that Lee Zeldin and Mitt Romney and Wynne and all these other Republicans and Republican causes took money from Jeffrey Epstein and her crack team of researchers didn't take note of the DR before Jeffrey Epstein. It stands for doctor. And the Jeffrey Epstein, which was the subject of the hearing that Stacey Plaskett was in as she was potentially being censured for coordinating and colluding with him, that Jeffrey Epstein was no doctor. Also, Jeffrey Epstein died in 2019, the FEC filing, the her crack team of researchers so quickly Googled up that those contributions were made, or at least the one to Lee Zeldin was made in 2020. So it didn't take a genius to figure out that it wasn't the same one. But she wants you to know she really wasn't trying to mislead the public by bringing up the name of a doctor who is not the Epstein Island serial pedophile and human trafficker and sex trafficker. But she brought it up during the Epstein hearing for Stacey Plaskett, just for kicks, I suppose. Honestly, if this is the best that we are going to continue to send to Congress and, God forbid, to the Senate from Texas. We got problems. 6-11 now. Sorry about that. Sky Mike is on deck here. Okay, 21 minutes after the hour. So, yeah, we were hoping to catch up with a council member Amy Peck, but we may not be able to make that connection happen here, but I'll tell you what we're talking about, and it's one of the lead stories, this council proposal that was leaked, which would essentially stop Houston police cooperation with ICE, which has been very, very strong. And there have been a lot of arrests made of illegal aliens, most of them criminal, just like I think what Tom Homan and President Trump. Trump and others have echoed what they said. When they ran for office is exactly what they're delivering. The worst first, over 70% of the illegal aliens who have been detained and deported during this, you know, first 10 months of the Trump administration have been criminal illegal aliens. 30% others who were swept up because maybe they were in the vicinity of the targets, the targeted criminal illegal aliens. That's why Tom Homan, the borders are and the deportation task force chief has continued to say, look, sanctuary. cities. If you don't want us going into the communities and getting other people who are not the actual targets, will then hold them for us. Have your police departments and your sheriff's departments hold people when we issue detainers. If you hold them in your jail, we'll come by and pick them up. We won't have to go into the communities and then encounter a bunch of other illegals. And then, and away we go. So that's kind of the situation, and there's obviously been a very, very strong ice presence in Houston. And the city council member, according to what we learned from the Chronicle, Houston Chronicle, and Cliff has been covering for us as council member Latisha Plummer or Letitia James Plummer essentially saying police officers should have discretion as to whether or not to call ice during traffic stops. And potentially, they would like the law to read or the rules, regulations, and policies. to say that the police should not be able to detain the individuals who are stopped for traffic violations and wait for ICE to arrive. We believe our police officers, our peace officers, said Plummer, they're there to protect. And the last thing you want when you're calling a police officer for help is to not get the help that you need. The current rules force officers to cooperate with federal immigration authorities in all cases. So what Plummer wants, essentially, is for the police to be able to, it's, you know, it's not dissimilar. from the story we've been talking about this morning about the six Democrats on Capitol Hill making that video telling military you don't have to follow the rules. You don't have to obey the orders of your superiors if you don't like them or if you don't think that they're lawful orders. Basically every man for himself, you decide what you want to do in each case. That's what this proposal from Plummer essentially says. She said it was designed to give HPD.

the discretion to engage only if necessary, allowing them to make arrests for violent offenses, but not to, and here are those words again that they like to use, separate families when officers come across someone with immigration status, meaning with illegal immigration status. Law enforcement agencies nationwide writes The Chronicle have struggled with how to respond after ICE officials added more than 700,000 administrative warrants to a national warrant database as part of the immigration crackdown. The mayor, Mayor John Whitmire, has argued the city is obligated to call ICE. and the police departments are handling the warrants like any other agency, and that certainly would be keeping with the policies that the city has and that the administration federally have requested. They want all cities to cooperate with them. And you know what? To be truthful, this is... About the first time that I've first example, I think that I've ever really heard of different levels of police or law enforcement working against one another rather than with one another. Typically speaking, if a local city's police department has something they need to get done and that it requires the collaboration and the cooperation of the county sheriffs, they get it. And if the county sheriffs or the city police need help from the state police, they get it. And if the state police needs help with the feds, federal law enforcement, they get it. It's typically a unified effort. Everybody wearing a badge is essentially taking the same oath to protect and serve. They don't work in contravention with one another, which is why this memo... is and should be really alarming. The idea that a member of city council wants to float something that says, no, don't work with the federal officers, work against their interests. That is just, that's not protecting and serving, at least not by my definition of it. All right, it is 626. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries is 635 now. It's not only unhinged Dems. The establishment Republicans continue to target Trump. There's a new report saying the Bush family wants to take back the GOP. Political strategist, Vlad Dividec, says Americans have moved on from the Bush dynasty and have hitched their wagon to MAGA. The Republican voters have moved on from establishment, country club, Republican politics, and they're much more strongly aligned within America First agenda, which President Trump and many Republican members of Congress represent so ably and capably. He says the Bushes have no momentum. There's also a new bill making the rounds in Washington, the Litigation Transparency Act of 2025 to require anyone receiving a payment in a lawsuit to disclose their identity.

A number of grassroots conservative groups have signed a letter opposing the bill. I think that there may be good intentions. This is one of the most poorly reasoned out bills I've seen in a long time. Attorney Michael Wynn says this bill could have a number of unintended consequences in the legal world. What's going to happen is collateral damage. That is increased in litigation costs fighting what court a case should be brought in. The part about the Democrats suggesting that President Trump is calling for, you know, some sort of... a crime to be committed against the six lunatic Democrats who are trying to advise active military personnel to ignore orders from the commander-in-chief, ignore orders from the Secretary of War, ignore orders from their superiors if they think they're unlawful. I'm looking at this all over the internet too. You know, Cliff is right. These people are just lunatics. They're saying that Donald Trump should be called out for trying to encourage political violence because he said that those six Democrats who made that video should face treason and the death penalty. He's pointing out that the penalty for treason is the death penalty. And for some reason...

Not for some reason, for obvious reasons, because they're lunatic Democrats, and I'm sorry to be as direct about that as I am. But these people are absolutely outside of their minds. These people seem to think that the death penalty is the same thing as executing someone in political violence. In fact, I'm looking online, and I'm seeing countless Democrats saying, I thought that MAGA and the Republican said after Charlie Kirk, that we weren't supposed to talk about killing each other anymore. Wait a minute. First of all, Charlie Kirk was murdered. Charlie Kirk was assassinated. Charlie Kirk was literally a victim of political violence. Donald Trump is talking about the law. The law says that if you are convicted of treason or sedition, that you can be executed by the state. So apparently, according to the loons, and I'm trying to respond to some of these people, and I know it's completely pointless because it doesn't matter how many, it's kind of like Jasmine Crockett situation. It doesn't matter what the facts are. They have made up their minds and they're going to run with it. But no, the state executing somebody who has been convicted of a capital crime in a death penalty case is not the same thing as murdering a man sitting behind a table holding a microphone and talking with other people. No, that is not political violence. Personally, I wouldn't have truth social posted what President Trump did. I don't think it was necessary at this particular point in time to say death penalty would be on the table for these individuals. But he is most certainly not calling for. crimes. He is most certainly not calling for political violence. He is pointing out that the law is the law and it says what it says. And yes, if these people were ever to be arrested, if they were ever to be charged with, you know, conspiracy to commit sedition or treason or insurrection, that the penalty could be death. That is all he is saying. And the idea that this is somehow related to the political violence problem in this country right now, it's just... president is responding to because many in this room want to talk about the president's response, but not what brought the president to responding in this way. You have sitting members of the United States Congress. who conspired together to orchestrate a video message to members of the United States military, to active duty service members, to members of the national security apparatus, encouraging them to defy the president's lawful orders. The sanctity of our military rests. on the chain of command. And if that chain of command is broken, it can lead to people getting killed. It can lead to chaos. And that's what these members of Congress, who swore an oath to to abide by the Constitution, are essentially encouraging. We have 1.3. active duty service members in this country. And if they hear this radical message from sitting members of Congress, that could inspire chaos and it could incite violence and it certainly could disrupt the chain of command. These three members of Congress, I will also add, knew exactly what they were doing. You look at Elissa Slotkin. She's a former member of the CIA. Mark Kelly was a captain in the U.S. Navy. Maggie Goodlander was a naval officer. And notably, she is also the wife of Joe Biden's national security. former advisor, Jake Dan Sullivan. And so these members knew what they were doing. They were leading into their credentials as former members of our military, as veterans, as former members of the national security apparatus to signal to people serving under this commander in chief, Donald Trump. that you can defy him and you can betray your oath of office. That is a very, very dangerous message, and it perhaps is punishable by law. I'm not a lawyer. I'll leave that to the Department of Justice and the Department of War to decide. What an amazing upgrade President Trump made in this particular position from what Joe Biden had when we were trying to understand something that the walking, talking giant binder was trying to say. Karoline Leavitt is clear and as concise as can be. It is extraordinarily dangerous for members of the military, former or active, to tell current members of the military, active members, particularly from their positions on Capitol Hill as legislators that they can ignore the orders of their superiors. And for President Trump, again, language is a little strong. Probably messaging is a little bit harsh when he just said, he posted on True Social last night that this is treason and punishable by death. You know, it's going to get a lot of the tension, but he's not wrong. It is punishable by death.

by the state, if it were to come down to it, nobody's going to be charged. But if it were to come down to it and there were charges filed and a conviction was attained by the prosecution, yes, it is punishable by death. He is not wrong and that is not threatening to kill members or to want other people to kill or harm members of Congress. This is reaching. This is desperation. And quite frankly, it's also a lot of projection because this is what the Democrats have done. made political violence into an art form. They tried to kill Donald Trump missed. They tried to kill Donald Trump again, didn't get the shot off. They did kill Charlie Kirk. And do we really need to go back to the baseball field? Do we have to go back to when the Republican baseball practice was shot up by a Bernie Sanders supporter who tried to kill as many Republican members of Congress as possible? Do we really need to look at all of the political violence being committed by the left in terms of Antifa? And BLM and others that have engaged in these, you know, BLM events, burn, loot, murder, honestly, they've made political violence in art form. So then projecting this onto Donald Trump and saying that if he said that these people could be executed, therefore he is pushing and promoting political violence. It is projection. Our top story, the Houston Chronicle reports that Democrat City Council member Letitia James Plummer, get this. She's proposing to end the cooperation between HPD and ICE. As it stands right now, HPD is simply fulfilling their duty to enforce warrants. When they are running warrants on somebody, they are checking all jurisdictions. So they are executing the ice warrants just as they do with any other warrant. Council member Amy Peck says failing to uphold that simple obligation could land the entire city in hot water. That's something that they would have to vet. I have concerns about how we would be able to legally do it, but it would have to go through the legal department first. Plummer did not respond to our request for comment. Now, this is why her reported idea might not be good. During the Chuck Schumer shutdown, ICE arrested more than 3,500 illegals in Houston alone. Meantime, a South Texas sheriff says the rush of illegal aliens under Joe Biden has created modern-day slavery. run by the cartels. Goliad County Sheriff Roy Boyd told lawmakers that law enforcement should be empowered to make immigration arrests. This week's ruling to block the new Texas congressional maps has sent a lot of candidates across the state scrambling. There are multiple districts that. the competition for which will dramatically change if we go back to the old map. Rice is Mark Jay Jones. Now, the ruling was two to one. The dissenting judge, Jerry Smith, well, he's accused his colleagues of judicial misconduct, specifically leaving him out of the process by not giving him time to review the decision. The state is appealing. 705, Governor Ron DeSantis wants to eliminate property taxes in Florida. But he won't give those looking to escape socialist New York City a break. I don't want a situation where it's going to incentivize people to flood into the state to claim a tax benefit. So it's going to be structured in a way that, you know what, you elected Zohran Mamdani. You're not going to just be able to come down here and get no homestead property tax. As you heard Cliff mentioned, and Chip Roy is going to tell us all about his plans to become Attorney General in the state, and we're going to talk about the declaration that was made by the governor of CARE and the Muslim Brotherhood as being foreign terrorist organizations. A lot of people think that care, you know, in this, by the way, I'm going to tell you point blank, maybe things you probably already know. There is something called Takea, which is an Islamic tenet that essentially not only allows, but requires Muslims who are trying to advance Islam to a position of world takeover. And I know that sounds like it's just a little bit overly dramatic. No, no, no, no, it's not. Establishing a global caliphate, which is a one-world government over the world that is run by Sharia law, that is literally governed by the most extreme principles. this is to be carried out in the form of jihad this is what islam teaches and i'm just being 100% honest with you here and this is why the governor is uh is calling this out uh one of the things that they use is called tequila which requires doesn't just allow but requires them to be deceptive to mislead um infidels people who are not Muslims. It's all part of the movement to either kill or convert all non-Muslims into Islam as a part of establishing that global caliphate. And globalizing the intifada, which of course is to wipe out not just Jews, but again, all infidels is a part of the thing. The point being here, Takia allows them to deceive, and that's what care is all about. care council on american islamic relations sounds like it's hey it's a cooperative collaborative uh peaceful organization we are we are here to bring you know islam you know is muslims and americans together through care. uh is law or excuse me yeah islam is fundamentally incompatible with the west with western civilization first of all and second of all the muslim brotherhood which is a very, very dangerous organization, collaborates with care to mislead the people into thinking they want to just be a part of the American fabric. Today, I designated the Muslim Brotherhood and Council on American Islamic Relations as foreign terrorist and transnational criminal organizations. This bans them from buying or acquiring land in Texas and authorizes the Attorney General to sue to shut them down. A lot of people are really welcoming of this order and this declaration. And one person who might be particularly affected by it is Texas Congressman Chip Roy because he wants to be, said Attorney General. He joins us now here on Houston's Morning News. Congressman, good morning. Good to be with you guys. Good morning. Good to have you. Thanks so much. So let's start right there because this is a pretty direct, directly impactful situation now that the governor has declared care in the Muslim Brotherhood as foreign terrorist orgs. If you are the Attorney General, how would you approach that heading in?

You know, first of all, it's great news that the governor took this step. You know, a lot of us have been watching this very carefully. Some of us were longer than others and have been concerned about it. You know, I've introduced legislation to deal with this and have given a number of speeches in Washington about this topic. And as I've noted to a few folks, the last substantive conversation that I had with Charlie Kirk was about this issue and about the extent to which we're not taking it seriously enough. And by this issue. I mean the Islamification of Texas and of America. It's a planned activity. Care is neck deep in it. They counsel in American Islamic relations, what they call themselves. But they're often, they're really a front for the funneling of funds and the activists that are trying to reshape and remake America in accord to Syria law and direct contradiction to our laws. So the governor was right to do this. It gives significant tools to the Attorney General to be able to sue. to stop the development of communities like the East Plano Islamic Center. You know, we call it epic. We've obviously got that Islamic center down in Houston that is concerning and other significant growth across the state. But it really is the flow of money in a radicalized network that's, you know, a mix of the Marxist Islamic agenda that we're seeing unfold with Zohran Mamdani in New York in Dearborn, Michigan, and Minneapolis. And, you know, what we already see happening in London, Paris, Germany, and places in Europe. So we've got a lot we need to do. This is not an affront to the First Amendment. You can believe whatever you want to believe. But it is something that we need to take seriously with respect to stopping a political agenda to underline our way of life and enforce, essentially, the Islamification of our country. And the governor's right to do this, but we've got many more miles to go. Obviously, any time you even talk like this, and I know because I talk like this, we're called Islamophobes. What is your response to people saying you are just being bigoted against people for their religion? Yeah, go look at the facts, go look at what's happening with the organizations like care. The leadership of care, and by the way, I introduced legislation to take away their tax status, their C3 status, and I've introduced legislation to say that we need to vet people for their adherence to Sharia law because Sharia law contradicts our laws. In Scotland, for example, there are 85 jurisdictions where you can choose either Sharia law or Scottish law. That's insane. We can't have that in America. The governor was right to point out that there's some Sharia courts here, and he sent a letter to the Collin County District Attorney in Dallas and sheriffs up there and said, guys, you go look into this and you'll have my backing as governor. But, you know, the fact is you look at care. You've got leadership at care that are affiliated with terrorist organizations. You have an unindicted co-conspirator from the Holy Land Foundation case, which was in Dallas, Fort Worth, about 20 years ago, where they shut them down with a direct tie to terrorist activities. Some of their leadership were... celebrating the October 7th atrocities in Israel from two years ago. And there was a report that came out two days ago, and there's so many reports. But this one tied them to a lot of the activity of the student efforts that were terrorizing our Jewish friends in the United States on college campuses over the last several years. And there's just numerous other examples. And the governor laid those out. People just need to study what's actually happening. Don't hide behind the First Amendment, celebrate the First Amendment.

about, you know, the government not coming in and tell you what to think, but you can't have a politically motivated efforts that is coming in to undo our culture and undo our country and not recognize it for what it is. You have to speak about it, you have to do it unafraid. Congressman Chip Roy is our guest. He is running for Attorney General. Sir, you want to be the top cop in the state of Texas. So let's talk about cops for a moment, particularly here in Houston. There was just a leaked report from a member of counsel that wants to tell police they don't have to cooperate with ICE anymore in the city of Houston. I'm not saying this is policy, but this is something that is being proposed. What message do you have for police all over Texas? You know, local police, county sheriff, state police, and their responsibility to cooperate. operate with ICE in the deportation task force that the president has set forth. Yeah, clearly law enforcement throughout the state of Texas need to cooperate with ICE. And to the extent that local officials and some of our cities are getting in the way of that, the state needs to make sure they step in and act in accordance with Texas law and in cooperation with federal law to make sure that we're able to adhere to it. And if we need to change our law, then we should do it. As Attorney General, I'm going to ensure that happens. I'm going to come into cities. I'm going to shame the city leadership. I'm going to make sure I use the bully pulpit so that everybody in the community knows that... Local leaders want to endanger their streets and want to side with the lawless and side with the gangs and sign with the people that murder Jocelyn Nungre and gangs like Tren de Aragua, that they side with them rather than the folks that want to have safe streets. I'll be pushing for harsher and stronger legislation to make sure that our cities can't buck the legislature and ensuring that our streets are safe. And importantly, you know, we're going to follow the money. We're going to break down these radical leftists and Marxists that are funding these George Soros funded district attorneys, city council members, people that are judges. Your thoughts on the video that was put out by some of your colleagues, six Democrat former military or intelligence agency officials, telling active duty military personnel, you don't have to listen to your commander-in-chief, you're Secretary of War, the Department or the Pentagon, you can do what you want to do as long as you think the rule might not be lawful, or excuse me, the order might not be lawful. Yeah, I mean, it was obviously on a front of the law, as the president said, and he referred to it to a sedition conspiracy and treason. And look, the fact is these are individuals who are letting their trump derangement syndrome overtake common sense and the rule of law. Look, the commander-in-chief, the president, is in charge of the military. And the president of the United States, he's doing everything openly and clearly. Pete Hegseth. I mean, this is just just craziness that these people are spewing out. They're not doing anything that they're beyond the law. They're, you know, working with local law enforcement officials, working with federal officials, military supporting activities. They're not going around arresting anybody. They're going to do anything that contrary to our law. I assure you, as a member of Congress, we'd be highlighting those things. And so for these officials to go out and do that, they're trying to stir things up in a way that is contrary to the law and undermining the Constitution. It's offensive. It's ridiculous. But that's just where we are. And so we're going to keep moving forward and keep doing the things we're doing to make our country safer, secure, more strong, despite Democrat resistance. Texas is about to see the biggest Thanksgiving travel surge it's ever had. 5.8 million people are planning to get out of town for Turkey Day. Almost everyone's going to be driving, which means the roads next week, especially on Tuesday and Wednesday, are going to be a mess. The good news is... Gas prices won't be. Gas prices are going to be very close to what they were last year, if not a little bit lower in some cities. Some cities across Texas may see pump prices a little bit higher, but we're not going to see a significant difference from last year. AAA's Doug Schoop, the statewide average for regular unleaded 269 a gallon today. 2.1 million travelers are expected at the airports in Houston with the shutdown over. Director Jim Sesniak says things are back to normal. We'll be back to our full complement of TSA lanes at IAHH. So we wouldn't anticipate anything outside of the normal holiday busyness. But if you're flying today, be careful. We've got some delays on cancellations already out of Bush, 12 and 10, respectively. We've got six delays at Hobby. But also, if the Bushes are to return to prominence, when Trump leaves office in January of 2029, that would mean JD Vance is not being handed the baton, that he would not be the next in line. So JD Vance has a couple of reasons to say what he said yesterday about the Bush potential return. The American people don't want stupid wars and America's jobs going over. and wide open borders. That is, whether intentional or not, that was the legacy of the Republican Party that came before Donald J. Trump. I'm glad the president got us away from that Republican Party. And there are a lot of people, even Bush supporters here in Texas, you know, are going to have to come to the realization that Americans and particularly Republicans are done with that. There's a reason why Jeb foundered as quickly as his campaign did. It just sunk like a stone. Because I think JD Vance is right. To a large extent, people are ready to move on from that. Now, does that mean specifically the Bush name, the Bush family, or the Bush... politics, the establishment Republicans of the past. That's what I guess the next three years are going to determine. If there is great success and President Trump's agenda is implemented, then JD Vance is going to ride that wave. There's no question about it. He'll be a big, big part of making that happen and he'll be the frontrunner going into 2028. But that, of course, is dependent on a couple of things. Number one, activist judges allowing it to happen. And number two, winning the midterms. And the midterms right now, one year from right now, are going to determine the entire historical look at the Trump presidency, particularly the 47 presidency, and that will also weigh on JD Vance and whether or not a different Republican infrastructure is built. The American people don't want stupid wars and America's jobs going overseas and wide open borders. That is, whether intentional or not, that was the legacy of the Republican Party that came before Donald J. Trump. So that's JD Vance, the Vice President responding to those reports. Joining us now as Vlad Dividec, political consultant with his thoughts on the matter of lad. Good morning. Hey, good morning, Bob. Good to talk to you. So let's talk a little bit about the Bushes. Obviously, President Bush was front and center yesterday giving the eulogy at the Cheney funeral. And word around the political orbit is that the bushes are primed for a return to prominence in some capacity. What would that look like?

fever dream. I don't see it happening. I think the Bush legacy has ended. I think the last time we had members of the Bush family running for elected office, it was a flame out. It was a crash and burn. They have served admirably and honorably for several generations. And I think all Americans still appreciate and hold dear President Bush's leadership after 9-11. And when he stood on the rubble of the World Trade Center and said, the people who did this will hear from all of us soon. Everyone stood with him. But... Since that time, you know, we saw Jeb Bush flame out in a campaign asking people to please clap. We saw George P. Bush losing a primary when he was running against Ken Paxton. We saw Pierce Bush, one of the Bush younger generation, come up short in a primary for a congressional race. I don't think that the current crop of Bush is. aligns well with the current ideology and the current temperature of the Republican Party. A Republican Party right now is America first. It's not a globalist, elitist sacrifice American greatness for the rest of the world kind of party. And so right now, I just don't see it happen. Vlad, tell me, though, what the state of the Republican Party will be in 2028 if President Trump loses, or rather if the Republicans lose the majority in the upcoming midterm elections and the entire last two years of 47's presidency are marred with investigations and impeachments and nothing getting done. Will there be an appetite in the Republican Party to return to that establishment type of thing that the Bush is represented just to get past the Trump? Well, at the time, it would be a mess. Well, look, we saw that happen before, right? We've seen what happened. And what wound up, what wound up the result was that the American people really hated what emerged from that because it was more division, more entrenched hatred, led by people like Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer and Joe Biden and Barack Obama. And those forces, those ideas, those people were rejected in 2024 in a landslide decision. And so I think if, let's say hypothetically, if something like that were to happen, I can certainly see American rallying behind somebody like JD Vance, who is more likely not going to be the next president of the United States, as a response, because what Americans want is less division, less fighting, less. pointing seniors at each other and getting solutions done, finding ways to lower prices, finding ways to make college affordable, finding ways to increase a number of jobs, finding ways to close the border and decrease crime. And Democrats have failed to offer any substantive solution. So if their entire solution is to stand in the way of progress, they're going to get run over.

Well, that's exactly what their solution has been. Obstruction, obstruction, obstruction. It's the name of the game for the current Democrat Party.
