This package would split the Homeland Security funding from a package of five other major spending bills. The Senate's plan is to pass a two-week funding package for Homeland Security at current spending level until February 13th. The House would also have to approve the package, but after the longest government shut down in U.S. history last fall, it sounds like nobody really wants to shut it down again. The deal comes after seven Republican senators joined Democrats in blocking a spending bill among that group, both Florida senators, Wisconsin's Ron Johnson, Utah's Mike Lee, Rand Paul of Kentucky, and Tommy Tuberville of Alabama. This is now being called out as a bad faith move by supporters of ICE enforcement. It's clear that the intent of this is to help people avoid law enforcement and also to disparage the reputation of ICE in the public. Chris Russo with Texans for Strong Border says on top of being bad faith, this also puts people's safety at risk. This is going to result in an escalating pattern of violent confrontations between these left-wing radicals and law enforcement. And as anti-ice protests continue, a new report from just the news, as confirmed that they are not organic. A group helping to organize them is tied to the Chinese Communist Party. Neville Roy Singham, he's worth millions of dollars, and he lives in China and works very closely with the Chinese government. So the fact that he is behind this and he is funding this tells you that this is a Chinese operation. That's political commentator Andrea Woodberg. The group is calling for a nationwide strike today, which they're calling, wait for it, and ice out. It's 504. President Trump says he'll announce Jerome Powell's replacement as chairman of the Federal Reserve, possibly today. Multiple reports say it'll be... Former Fed Governor Kevin Warsh. Jerome Powell's term expires later this year. Overnight trading is down across the board. Dow futures off 351 points. Now, the mainstream media is so busy ripping Trump over ice that Dave ignored good economic news like this. Auto insurance rates are down. The nationwide rate hike is now less than 1%. There's videos on TikTok making fun of guys who go to great and sometimes cringe-worthy lengths to signal how sensitive, intellectual, and emotionally attuned they are. Do women really want that? Liberal women probably do. What about the rest of the women? What kind of a hobby would make you more attractive to a woman? Can you think of one? Maybe cooking. I'm thinking cooking. If you could learn to be a really, really good cook,

Or would a woman feel threatened by a really good cook? I don't think women care about cooking the way they used to back in the day. Most women, anyway, don't care about cooking. We have one in Virginia, in Richmond, Virginia and Virginia Commonwealth University Health, fired by the hospital Tuesday. After posting several videos about sabotage tactics you could do against ICE. Advising nurses, if you have somebody who works for ICE coming into your hospital, you could give them a shot of this or a shot of that that would put them out of commission so that they can't go around arresting people. I think one of the things she recommended, I can't even begin to pronounce it, but it's something that paralyzes you. Causes great pain and paralyzes you. You're wide awake, so you feel all the pain. Then there's Alice Preddy, the 37-year-old ICU nurse shot and killed by federal border patrol agents during a confrontation. He became a left-wing hero, but now video shows him spitting on agents and attacking an ice vehicle a week ago. The media claimed he had jumped out of a car to assist a family chased by ice agents. But we didn't see that, did we? And you know what else we didn't see? Cops, who were ordered to stand down, just like during the George Floyd Summer of Love, and the result was the same, more death and more destruction. Nice work, Mayor Fry. Of course, the nation's largest nurses union, National Nurses United labeled the feds a public health threat. You know, like cancer, opioid addiction, and sharing a toothbrush with Hunter Biden. And previously, they declared racism a public health threat after George Floyd. That's not professional or compassionate. That's ideology with a bedpan.

It's funny how you're not hearing about mechanics or plumbers doing this, but nurses, so-called healers. Of course, the media loves to point out that these nuts have no police record, but all it tells you is that they're dumber than criminals. Because no criminal would give their lives for them, yet these numb schools are willing to die for thugs. So what's hijacking their brains? Is it ego, suicidal empathy, a media-driven good versus evil narrative that reduces everything to tribal warfare? Could be, but we're all targeted by that. And yet it's the nurses who flame out, not us. Why? My guess is that their profession lends them the aura of expertise in the world of caring. So they're more arrogantly resolute about their compassion to the detriment of actual thought. To them, it's a feeling, a right, a right to do actual physical harm. Look, this isn't a nurse problem. It's an identity problem. We're being in a caring profession, whether it's a nurse, a teacher, or working with the criminally insane.

gives you the right to weaponize your overwrought empathy. Look, I love nurses. They've saved my ass more than once, usually involving a sterilized pair of ice tongs. But once your empathy is hijacked, it goes haywire. The nurse's version of the Hippocratic Oath is the Nightingale Pledge, which says, I will abstain from whatever is deleterious and mischievous, and will not take or knowingly administer any harmful drug, which makes sense. You're supposed to be treating patients, not creating them. It's pretty amazing. If you go to the website, National Nurses United, it's full of left-wing propaganda. It's full of protest photos. Nurses care about all people. Democracy is not for sale. It says right on the front of the website, armed mask ice agents are standing in the way of nurses effectively caring for patients. Turning to trading, stock futures are looking at heavy losses this morning with Wall Street questioning how much money companies are spending on artificial intelligence. Microsoft tumbled the most since 2020 on concerns it could take a while for its AI investments to pay off. The S&P 500 drop nine points, however, the Dow gained 55. And Urquot says some data centers and cryptocurrency miners voluntarily cut back their power use during the storm that strain the state's electric grid. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent at the cabinet meeting at the White House yesterday. When we came in, the Biden administration had destroyed the American people with the three eyes. Immigration, inflation, and interest rates. So, of course, Trump has closed the border. Inflation has slowed, still working on interest rates. Speaking of which, Trump says he'll name a new Fed chair to replace Jerome Powell. It could be today. And many reports say it's former Fed governor. Kevin Warsh. Now, the left isn't going to give Trump any credit whatsoever. That's because of Trump derangement syndrome, which a prominent psychotherapist says is only getting worse. You've seen him on Fox, New York and Washington-based Jonathan Alpert. Anger has hardened into people's identity, and in some ways, politics has become a new religion. Basically, all the things the left has accused Trump supporters of, but real. If a political figure is taking up this much space in someone's head negatively, then I would say that's a problem. The president and Chuck Schumer negotiate a deal to keep the government running past tonight's deadline. The Senate, though, has yet to vote. So so does the House. Texas Congressman Chip Roy told us yesterday he was not confident in getting this done. Democrats are pretty serious about it. We are equally serious, at least some of us are. I'm saying hold the line. The Trump-Chuck Schumer deal came after seven Republican senators blocked a funding bill yesterday. Coming up on 534, the midterms will be here before you know it. And if Republicans want to expand the majority in Washington or even keep it, these are the three things they need to do. The first one is restoring election integrity. If we have dishonest elections, then the government's illegitimate. And when a government's illegitimate, it's a slippery slope to a banana republic. Author of Rediscovering America, Scott Jerome Powell, says that leads to corruption like what we've seen. The other two are one in the same, restoring faith in justice, law, and order. The duly elected Donald Trump has a mandate to deport illegal aliens. He's trying to carry out his mandate and what's happening. The ICE officers are now under assault. Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett's latest pitch is that if she's elected to the Senate, she'll impeach Trump. Republicans say Jasmine Crockett's the gift that keeps on giving to Republicans. She has no plan, no vision, no positive view for what to do for our country. Political strategist James Dickey. New polling out this week has Jasmine Crockett in a dead heat with state rep James Talarico with less than three weeks to go until early voting begins. After almost a full year of being vacant, the Texas 18th congressional district will finally be filled in a special election tomorrow, either by a Democrat Christian Meneffi or another Democrat Amanda Edwards. Whoever it is certainly has the potential being able to throw wrenches into the machinery of government between now and the end of their terms, since they know that there's really not a whole high price to pay. Political strategist, Vlad's Vidig, says the winner is going to have to go right back to campaigning and against Al Green in a primary for the newly redrawn district in March. The state, though, will gain at least four seats in Congress after the 2030 census. This could open the door to pushing through more conservative legislation on issues like immigration. Streamline system for the people that are doing it the right way. And at the same time, we strengthen the immigration laws and the penalties that go along with it. However, California Republican Steve Williams warns that Democrats are already pushing back against this. by further gerrymandering their states. 536 following last year's tragic flooding in the hill country, summer camps across that area are struggling to comply with the state's new safety rules. A coalition of nearly 160 camps is warning that operations may be canceled due to safety requirements passed after last year's deadly flooding. State Representative Wes Verdell represents the area. He's blasting his fellow lawmakers for mandating high-speed internet service when the infrastructure

You couldn't flush toilet paper down the toilet. because, I don't know, their sewer system, there's probably, you know, 2,000 years old. So they couldn't handle that. So you have to, you have to, you have to use very little and deposit it in the trash, which doesn't seem like a real good way to get rid of that stuff. But, you know, that's what happens when you're traveling to a part of the world that's a little bit different than it is here in the United States. But for those of us who do have toilet paper, do use toilet paper, sometimes hoard toilet paper. This story got my attention. Are we using toxic toilet paper here? There is several brands, some of them very popular and widely known, that have tested positive for chemicals that are linked to cancer and other health issues. P-F-A-S's forever chemicals are cold. The toxins from chlorine bleaching formaldehyde used in wet strength resins, BPA from recycled fibers, and fragrances or additives that can be irritating and cause potential problems. Charmin Ultra soft toilet paper has some of these ingredients in it. And by the way, many of the ones that have these ingredients are quote unquote green toilet papers because they're made out of things that are recycled, things that used to have print on them. And you don't get all those chemicals out in the recycling process and you end up spreading them along. Here's the names of the toilet papers. Tushy. And who gives a crap? Those are actual brand names. A made from bamboo and other tree-free toilet papers are often touted as greener, but some of these products also contain these P-A-F-S indicators in limited testing. In order to make toilet paper white, sometimes they use chlorine bleach, dioxins, and ferns, which are toxic byproducts classified as carcinogens when exposed in high levels. I'm not saying there's super high levels in these things, but I mean, you're wiping your butt with this, for goodness sakes. That seemed a little invasive to be using something that might contain chemicals that could do you harm. 540 time for traffic and weather together. Where can I get a roll of who gives the crap? House Republicans failed in this last week in an effort to rescind a part of that law dealing with that technology. Critics are calling it a national kill switch and that even if government didn't do it now, they eventually could remotely deactivate your vehicle, just shut it down for whatever reason they may want to. On one hand, you have mothers against drunk drivers and other organizations that are basically saying whatever we can do to employ technology, to save lives, we should do it. We should, we can't, we have multiple offenders, people who have been caught driving under the influence multiple times. We don't, you know, they don't change their behavior. Eventually they're going to kill somebody. So we need a vehicle that can detect when somebody has been drinking so that it can shut it down. The vehicle won't start up. Won't be able to go. So as a part of that 2021 law. that would require anti-drunk driving technology in future cars. There's something I guess that could be referred to as a kill switch. Here is the car coach podcast talking about what they have a problem with when it comes to this legislation. Between Americans and their vehicles. Section 24-220 directs the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to mandate, in quote, Advanced Impaired Driving Prevention Technology. In plain terms, it requires systems that monitor drivers and can prevent a vehicle from operating if impairment is suspected. No breath test is required. No police officer is involved. The judgment is made by software. Once flagged, the vehicle can refuse to start or restrict operation. And here's the critical issue.

There's no federal rules defining how drivers get out of that lockout. No required appeals process, no mandated reset timeline, no human review. Drivers are placed into what critics, or what I call, kill switch jail with no exit. So you could be stuck on the side of the road and have no way to start your vehicle. And that'd be lovely if things don't go your way while you're stuck on the side of the road. This is not targeted enforcement. It applies to every driver, every time, regardless of your driving history. And that alone should raise constitutional alarms. Now, drunk driving laws already exist, and they work. Ignition interlock devices have long been required for convicted offenders, and there are 31 approved interlock systems currently in the nation. These systems require a breath sample and are imposed only after due process. But section 24-220 ignores that proven approach and instead punishes all drivers preemptively, even for those who do not drink at all. Under the mandate, automakers can choose from a range of technologies to comply. These include driver-facing cameras. They're already doing that. Tracking eye movement. They're already doing that. Head position. And software analyzing steering and lane-keeping behavior. And yes, they're already doing that too. Or they could- create something that doesn't exist yet called touch base alcohol sensors and that would be embedded in the steering wheel or the start button imagine if you had someone with you in the passenger seat who drank too much and you offered to drive them home well would pick that up too and none of these systems determine guilt they calculate probability and then deny you access false positives are inevitable L-B-T-E-N-V-T. Well, you know, coal helped keep the lights on the East Coast. During the big winter blast of cold air that we all got, I mean, what, 35, 36 states of the 50 had just really super cold weather. And if it hadn't been for coal and natural gas, what would have happened? If the entire country was trying to go wind and solar, what would have happened? Well, some of us would have frozen to death. In fact, Energy Secretary Chris Wright thinks that we could have had several hundred people during this last cold outbreak that ended up being saved thanks to coal and heating oil and some of the other means that we use in order to be able to heat our homes. Not just the storm, but the cold temperatures, Dana. They drive up demand for electricity to often the annual peak. And I will tell you, coal and President Trump's effort to keep coal plants open in the last few days has likely saved hundreds of American lives. We had a much smaller cold front during the Biden administration. We lost over 200 American lives because power went down, heating went out. The Trump administration

and we've saved 17 gigawatts of coal plants to keep them open. Natural gas, coal, and nuclear, in that order have been the key workhorses to keep the lights on at these peak demand times. Actually, we can put that up on the board for everyone to see. Just the numbers are pretty stark here. 68% power for nuclear, I'm sorry, natural gas and coal, 85% including nuclear sources. Also, though, what about the grid situation? Yes, in the local areas, particularly in Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennessee, we had a lot of ice on the local distribution lines that have fallen down. So those are being reestablished right now. Energy policy, we can't control the stability of those local distribution lines. Technology hopefully will help us there someday. But in New England's grid, for example, Dana, you mentioned that. In New England's grid, at peak demand time, less than 3% of electricity came from wind, solar, and batteries combined. In fact, New England got more electricity from burning wood and trash than it got from wind, solar, and batteries at peak demand. And peak demand is what matters. Oil, sadly, was the number one source of electricity in New England because they've got a shortage of pipeline capacity to bring much lower. cost and much cleaner burning natural gas into new england we have to get the constitution pipeline built new york governor standing in the way of that that a lower cost in new england protect lives and grow economic opportunities i have never understood that opposition to natural gas in that part of the country what is wrong with these people they're burning heating oil don't you think that burning natural gas would be cleaner the burning heating oil not to mention less expensive Yeah, it would. No riots here. 622 is our time here in Houston's morning news. I want to read a little bit from this story, even though our guest is a no-show, because I think it's a great story. A therapist warning, Trump didn't break America, permanent outrage did. Jonathan Alpert wrote in the Fox opinion piece, after my Wall Street Journal opinion piece, is Trump derangement syndrome real, was published, the response was immediate and intense. Some readers thanked me, many were furious. I was accused of excusing Donald Trump, minimizing harm and betraying my profession. Some messages were hostile, a few crossed into threats. What struck me wasn't the disagreement itself, but how quickly disagreement turned into fury. Simply questioning the idea was enough to set people off. That reaction stayed with me because it reflected something I had already been seeing in my clinical work. Over the last decade, one psychological pattern has become dominant in American life. It cuts across education, geography, and socioeconomic status. I would even go as far as to call it the defining pathology of our political era, a state of chronic political anxiety in which outrage becomes habitual and threat becomes the default lens. Is that not the world we're living in? I think one thing we'd have, I mean, we're seeing it with all, with these nurses now who are saying that you should, if you're a nurse and you have an ICE agent come into your emergency room, you should inject him with something to keep him from being able to go back to work. I mean, just outrageous behavior. And they're, and they're proudly posting it on social media. And don't seem to be that worried that they're getting fired for doing it. But at the end of the day, who's really behind all this stuff? It's becoming more and more apparent to me that it's not just these ultra-progressive communist socialist groups. It's foreign entities like China. I saw this piece as well. I want to share this with you. Zvan Fleet and Peter Schweitzer. Here they are in Fox talking about the Chinese influence on what's going on in places like Minneapolis. In every protest, so-called protest, since BMM and in 2020, we always find communist flag and banners among the protesters. This is a communist. revolution. I say that we had Marxist cultural revolution in this country for a long time, but this time in Minneapolis, it is communist insurrection. Yeah, there's no question. There's an international component to it. And China's involved. There's an organization linked to the CCP in China called the Center for the Study of Marxist Parties in foreign countries. And what they do is they track these political activities. And they've been running articles, analyses on their website in China, which is restricted, talking about color revolutions in the United States and how it might happen. They cover groups like the Party for Socialism and Liberation.

They cover groups like the Freedom Road Socialist Organization, both who are neck deep in this action in Minneapolis and have been involved in many other protests. The Freedom Road Socialist Organization has pledged its allegiance to the CCP. They have fraternal party ties, which means they're very close. And the political director of that party, Mick Kelly, lives in Minneapolis. He's been investigated in the past by the FBI for possible involvement for direct terrorism. never charged. But these are radical groups. Same thing with PSL, sympathetic tied to China. Its members have flown to China. So this is part of something that China directly encourages, wants to see happening, and they are monitoring the situation in the United States as it relates to all kinds of social unrest like this. And I'm guessing they're very pleased with themselves right now. 626, it's time to take a look at your money. Meantime, Texas is predicted to gain at least four more seats in Congress. after the 2030 census. This will put Texas and other growing Republican states in a great position in Congress. What will happen is the states that lose seats will lose influence in the House and the states that gain seats will gain influence in the House. California Republicans Steve Williams says Democrats are already taking steps to brace for this change. Their strategy is continue with the gerrymandering in order to just zero out any of the Republican representation. I had to tell you I was so pleased to hear you put my thoughts into words this morning when you mentioned counter-protesters. I'm not one to step out of my comfort zone too often anymore, but a few weeks ago I began wondering why there weren't victims' advocates protesting against the chaos that slows and sometimes prevents the arrest of criminal illegals. The last couple of days I found myself planning counter-protests while getting ready for work in the morning. All premised on someone else financing the plan.

I would start by gathering level-headed folks who understand the difference between the law and feelings. We had head to Minneapolis and America would see what real peaceful protesters look like. There'd be no screaming in people's faces, whistleblowing, blocking roads, or causing outright chaos. The signs carried would include a list of the atrocities committed by illegals since the border was open to the world. Many signs would have individual mugshots with the crimes they were arrested for, the number of times they were arrested, and how many times they were released along with the number of times they were active with an ice warrant out against them. Other signs would have the number of all the crimes that would have been prevented if the illegal perps were released to ICE instead of set out on society. Another sign, the total number of crimes that would have prevented had all the borders been left secure. All the info of the signs would pertain only to that city and its state, except for a couple of signs with national stats on them. If anyone makes it to counter protest, they won't end the holding hands and singing kumbaya with the current peaceful protesters, but I feel deeply that the more middle-learning citizens may find their courage in our voice if they see the opposite of such blatantly intentional chaos and see the facts about why ICE has to hunt for illegals in their city. I'm pleased to nominate Colin McDonald to serve as the first ever assistant AG for national fraud enforcement, a new division of the Department of Justice, which I created a catch-and-stop fraudsters that have been stealing from the American people. Together, we will end the fraud and restore integrity to our federal programs. Before I get you to answer that, Andy, this is the claim right now from the GAO. We estimate that the federal government could lose between... 233 billion and 5211 billion annually to fraud. What do you think of the gentleman who was appointed, Mr. McDonald, and is it a good idea? Well, I think the guy that they appointed Bill seems to be very qualified, and if it's a legal position, he should be able to be confirmed. My question would be whether it's a legal position. The executive branch can't just create assistant attorney general slots. They're actually creatures of legislation. Congress has created.

a number of them. I think they're 11 in federal law now. So if the president has already filled those 11, he's got a problem in terms of rejiggering the org chart as Congress has made it for the DOJ. So there's that problem. There already are very good fraud. I'm sorry? Yeah, he could do that. I don't know if he can or he can't because with. Well, with respect to a lot of these positions, Congress has prescribed the work the AAG is supposed to do. So you have an antitrust division, a national security division, criminal division, civil division. You can't, you know, Congress has created these positions. So I know the president likes to think that he can kind of wave a wand and create things, but that's not always how it works in the government. And the other problem you have is we already have fraud units. in the criminal division and the civil division that have done much of the work that the justice department is touting, particularly in Minnesota. If we have a significant fraud problem in the country, which we undoubtedly do, it's not because of the Justice Department. Well, maybe what we need to do, though, is the combined it under one effort. Why split it up between two different entities? Why not just have a division that that's all they concentrate on? Noam with KTRH is Sean Hannity. Here at home, Harris County Commissioners vote four to one to condemn DHS for deploying agents nationwide. I want to make sure our local law enforcement officials are focused on keeping our community safe. And fear makes our neighborhoods less safe. Precinct for Democrat Leslie Briones, the Republican on Commissioner's Court, the only one, Tom Ramsey, was the only no vote against the whole thing. And there's this. Our local newspaper just ran this big story praising students from Rice University for creating an online ice tracking map. This is now being called out as a bad faith move by supporters of ICE enforcement. It's clear that the intent of this is to help people avoid law enforcement and also to disparage the reputation of ICE in the public. Chris Russo with Texans for Strong Border says on top of being bad faith, this also puts people's safety at risk. This is going to result in an escalating pattern of violent confrontations between these left-wing radicals and law enforcement. He added that this might not be legal and pointed out that similar apps have already been banned. by app stores. Ethan Buchanan, News Radio 740, KTRH. And as the anti-ice protests continue, a new report from just the news says that they are not organic. They're being organized in part by a group with ties to the Chinese Communist Party. Neville Roy Singham, he's worth millions of dollars. And he lives in China and works very closely with the Chinese government. So the fact that he is behind this and he is funding this tells you that this is a Chinese operation. Political analyst Andrea Woodberg, the group is calling for a nationwide strike today, which they are calling an ice out. 704, President Trump said he would announce Jerome Powell's replacement as Fed chair today, and he followed through selecting former Fed Governor Kevin Warsh. Jerome Powell's term expires later this year. Markets are not happy. The futures are down 227 points this morning. The mainstream media is so busy ripping Trump over ice that they've ignored all the good economic news. For instance, auto insurance rates are down. The nationwide rate hike is now less than 1%. That's the lowest since 2022. Bright Bart's Warner, Houston says the numbers were significantly higher. It had been going up anywhere from 10 to almost 20%. Houston credits the president's border policies and crackdown on the illegals committing crimes. And the organized criminal networks have been, you know, losing their foot soldiers in a lot of ways. Houston's so-called climate action plan passed under former Mayor Sylvester Turner is still in effect, even after President Trump pulled the U.S. out of the international Paris climate agreement. Former Houston City Councilman Greg Travis says the plan was a waste from the start. They try to make police cars electric. You know, police cars need to be powerful. They need to be able to go. Same thing. They wanted to make fire trucks with batteries. I don't need a fire truck with a battery being too close to a fire. A lot of stupid things that occurred because people were trying to virtue signal. Mayor John Whitmire moved the plan to a new off. Office of Resiliency, but hasn't commented on it since. But do you want your car to have a kill switch, which would shut off the car's capability of driving if it detected alcohol? Or if it detected eye movements associated with drinking, or if it detected that you were changing lanes abruptly or hitting the brakes abruptly, doing anything else that the car decided. Might be dangerous. Well, we'll just have to shut this down. Because as a part of a 2021 law passed by Congress, there is a anti-drunk driving technology requirement for future cars. The problem is, is it's not real specific about how far it can go. Critics are saying that really it amounts to a national kill switch that would let the government remotely deactivate cars. There's no requirement in the law for that, but there's also nothing to prevent that from happening. So assume at some point somebody somewhere is going to think it's a good idea that in order to save lives, we go ahead and get rid of due process and the ability for you to drive home somebody who's drunk. To me, that's a great circumstance. What if your friend is drunk? And you decide to drive them home and they're sitting in the passenger seat next to you. And the car detects a drunk person in your car and it won't go. Kind of defeats the purpose, doesn't it? So that's our talkback question. There's nothing new about this, but they've maybe taken this to a slightly new level. And I'll tell you exactly who's behind this, by the way. Abby Manuel and Jack Voo. They say they noticed in April of 2025 that some of the kids in the weekly classes they volunteered with had stopped showing up. They realized an uptick in U.S. immigration and customs enforcement raids in Houston had caused their families to fear leaving the house. In response, Manuel M. Vu created a website that tracks ice activity across the U.S. A tool has been featured in many activist resource guides.

The website is ice map.dev attracts ice-related news incidents in individual counties, as well as immigrant detention facilities with documented health and security inspection failures. Who said the map was designed to expose ice activities typically hidden from public view? Saying there is a deliberate effort to lie to people about what ICE is doing. But when you've got a site that allows you to see these local news and national news articles, you see what it is. And that leads to some difference in the way we enforce immigration policy. That's a huge positive in my view. So we have some activists at Rice University who are outing members of ICE. And then at the other end of the scale, we've got this whole threatened government shutdown. Evidently, this deal has been worked out between Chuck Schumer. and President Trump. Is this Republicans caving? I don't think Trump's caving on anything. I think he's trying to, I think both of them, Chuck Schumer and Trump, are trying to avoid a government shutdown. So, ICE is funded for the next two weeks. That's part of the deal. And then they're going to have to pass something separate as it relates to the Department of Homeland Security. And what will happen over the next two weeks... is that there will be bargaining going back and forth between Republicans and Democrats and what sort of, quote, unquote, changes they want to make ties. Dan Bongino isn't really keen on this whole idea. You know, former FBI director now back doing his radio program again, was a guest on Fox last night with Sean Hannity talking about these efforts to try to defund DHS. You know, listening to Tim Walz and these other, you know, left-wing jokers, Talk about public safety as if they have any kind of like load star or 12-step manual to get it done. It's tragic. It's not funny. It really is tragic. These guys are clowns. Before people like Rudy Giuliani and Donald Trump with that go-get-em boys attitude where you get these bad guys off the street came into power, you know, they had to clean up the mess from these. clowns running their cities the way they did. But to hear walls, let me show you what real cops do. Well, I know what real cops do. Real cops would do real cop stuff, more real cop stuff. Turning to trading, stock futures are looking at heavy losses this morning with Wall Street questioning how much money companies are spending on artificial intelligence. Microsoft tumbled the most since 2020 on concerns it could take a while for its AI investments to pay off. The S&P 500 drop nine points, however, the Dow gained 55. And Urquot says some data centers and cryptocurrency miners voluntarily cut back their power use during the storm that strain the state's electric grid. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent at the cabinet meeting at the White House. When we came in, the Biden administration had destroyed the American people with the three eyes, immigration, inflation, and interest rates. Trump closed the border, inflation has slowed interest rates. Well, we're still working on that. And to that end, Trump has named the new Fed Chair nominee to replace Jerome Powell. when he leaves, it's former Fed Governor Kevin Warsh. The left won't give Trump any credit for anything because of Trump derangement syndrome. And a prominent psychotherapist says it's getting worse. You've seen him on Fox, New York and Washington-based Jonathan Alpert. Anger has hardened into people's identity. And in some ways, politics has become a new religion. Basically, all the things the left has accused Trump supporters of, but real. If a political figure is taking up this much space in someone's head negatively, then I would say that's a problem. Reach. 732, the attorney for Don Lemon says that the former CNN anchor has been taken into custody. For his role into the anti-ice riot that took place at a church in St. Paul, Minnesota earlier this month. And speaking of Trump derangement syndrome, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frye continued his attacks on Trump and ICE. This kind of conduct and siege needs to stop, not just in Minneapolis. It needs to stop nationwide. But borders are Tom Homan says that's not going to happen. The president of Chuck Schumer had a deal to keep the government running past tonight's deadline, but no vote yet from the Senate. The House would still have to pass it as well. Yesterday, Texas Congressman Chip Roy told us he wasn't confident in getting a deal done. Democrats are pretty serious about it. We are equally serious, at least some of us are on saying hold the line. The Trump-Chuck Schumer deal comes after seven Republican senators blocked the funding bill yesterday. Coming up on 734, the midterms will be here before you know it. And if Republicans want to expand the majority or, frankly, even keep it, these are the three things they need to do. The first one is restoring election integrity. If we have dishonest elections, then the government's illegitimate. And when a government's illegitimate, it's a slippery slope to a banana republic. Author of Rediscovering America, Scott Jerome Powell, says that leads to corruption like what we've seen. The other two are one in the same, restoring faith in justice, law, and order. The duly elected Donald Trump has a mandate to deport illegal aliens. He's trying to carry out his mandate and what's happening. The ICE officers are now under assault. He says if they can do all. Texas primary is March 3rd, and Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett's latest pitch is that if she's elected to the Senate, she'll impeach the president. Republicans say Jasmine Crockett's the gift that keeps on giving to Republicans.

She has no plan, no vision, no positive view for what to do for our country. Political strategist James Dickie New polling out this week says Jasmine Crockett's in a dead heat on the Democrat side with state rep James Talarico. After almost a full year of being vacant, Texas's 18th Congressional District finally gets filled in a special election tomorrow. It'll either be Christian Menifee or Amanda Edwards, both Democrats. Whoever it is certainly has the potential of being able to throw wrenches. into the machinery of government between now and the end of their terms, since they know that there's really not a whole high price to pay. Political strategist, Vlad Vidiak right there. By the way, the winner will have to immediately campaign against L. Green in a primary for the newly redrawn district in March. The state will gain at least four seats in Congress after the 2030 census. This could open the door to pushing through more conservative legislation on issues like immigration. Streamline system for the people that are doing. at the right way. And at the same time, we strengthen the immigration laws and the penalties that go along with it. However, California Republican Steve Williams warns Democrats are already pushing back by further gerrymandering their states. 736, following last year's tragic flooding in the hill country, summer camps are struggling to comply. with new state safety rules. A coalition of nearly 160 camps is warning that operations may be canceled due to safety requirements passed after last year's deadly flooding. State Representative Wes Verdell represents the area. He's blasting his fellow lawmakers for mandating high-speed internet service when the infrastructure isn't there. The lobby group brought in the families to sit in the gallery and that was done to manipulate us. The Department of State Health Services is set to release specific requirements by early February. along with a schedule for camps. I mean, local TV loves to cover these, you know, when you've got like 80 or 100 people protesting ice. Well, what if we had like a thousand people there supporting ice? They might say, well, we can't cover that. Look, there's too many ice supporters there. We can't cover this. So I think there's a method to the badness. The problem is who's going to finance this, right? Because all these things cost money. But evidently, there's a few ideas out there. This is Edna from Summerwood with regards to billionaires. Locally, first one comes to mind, even though I'm not a big fan, is Tillman for Tita. And I think he's Republican. And nationally, Elon Musk, I'm just spitball in here with a couple people that have plenty of money to toss about. You'll have a great day. Yeah, I don't know if those two wanted. Well, when it comes to economic growth, we are climbing. The president yesterday had a cabinet meeting at the cabinet meeting talking about economic growth. We get reaction to his comments on how much the economy has grown during his tenure from The Big Money Show. Just as I promised, we've defeated the Biden inflation nightmare. and achieved explosive new economic growth. The Atlanta Fed is predicting and astounding 5.4% GDP growth in the fourth quarter. And that's despite the fact that we had a Democrat shutdown. We would have had that number would have been 7%, which is a number nobody's ever heard of. So listen, I get it because prices were elevated when he came in the door. That's the problem. They haven't gone down. And the only way to get them to go down is if we have a full-blown recession in this country, which nobody wants to do. So people have to, you know, we've been saying this all along. Ultimately, these prices are going to become normal. But until they do, people's wages start to go up, until they see that they're able to get ahead of the curve, they're going to feel like this. But this has got nothing to do with... Trump policies are where the economy is. I think the economy is in a very good place. And I think it's setting up to be in a better place as the year goes on. If you're coaching the president, okay, people want him to be on the economy more. You're coaching him. They're talking about things like housing and health care. Maybe you like that. But what would you be coaching him on? Given these polls, given what you're seeing in the economy, where's the real opportunity for his economic message? I would tell him nothing.

I would tell him to change nothing. He knows what he's doing. He's always looking, I think I said this yesterday, he's looking like 50 steps ahead, and he's playing with pieces on a game board, and you don't even know what game he's playing. Trump said that she's the greatest, what, the greatest female rapper ever, which is weird. It's like saying the greatest female driver. I joke. I love Nicki Minaj. And why is a Republican celebrity? worth a hundred Democrat celebrities because they're more rare. That's why when they said like, oh, you bash us for having, for liking, you know, George Clooney and Ed Norton, and then you get all happy about, uh, Nikki Minajus. It's because we don't have very many because there's a greater cost for them to come out. There's more antipathy directed at them. So it's just that much more brave when somebody does this. So. She's worked like four Springsteins, three Ed Norton's, and Ted Dave Matthews, because for them, the louder they get. When Springsteen cuts a song about Trump and Ed Norton says, like, I'm like so unhappy, they get a lot of comfort food. They get a lot of accolades. The experience is warm and fuzzy. There's no courage necessary. But you do this. She's going to get a lot of hate from people. And she's got to have one answer. Why do you care? Like, why must I fall in line? Because behind, because when everybody demands you to be with them and their respective, whatever, the careers, it's because of their own self-doubt. The progressive love always demands that you fall in line. That's why, again, I think what Nicky Mnage did is admirable and a brave thing to do.
