Well, it really probably is unconditional surrender. President Trump last night talking to Axios' first interviews since signing that agreement with Iran this week. But the peace talks that were supposed to take place in Switzerland are off. This all comes as Israel's military says it struck targets throughout southern Lebanon. Israel's occupation of southern Lebanon and its continued attacks on the Iranian-backed Shiite militia Hezbollah has been a key issue on the talks. In a truth social post Thursday, President Trump stressed, quote, we expect a complete ceasefire on all fronts, including Lebanon, Hezbollah, and Israel. That is Chandley Painter reporting. Oil markets reacting this morning, they're up to $77.16 a barrel. The mainstream media fawning over the opening of Barack Obama's presidential center in Chicago, Ohio gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy says they ignored a major part of the Obama story. His legacy is one of apologizing for American excellence, apologizing for American exceptionalism, apologizing for American history. apologizing for America's success. Vivek Ramaswamy on Fox. Meantown, the White House reacting to the news that the ringleader of that foiled plot to attack the White House UFC event was granted deportation relief under Obama's DACA program. Closer to home, liberal activists are suing the federal government to stop the building of border barriers in West Texas. They claim it elites a flooding in the Big Bend area. Conservative groups are saying this is just fake news. Underneath the sentiments about flood control is hidden a deeply held sentiment about the border not really being real. Chris Russo with Texans for Strong Borders says that's a dangerous worldview. CBP in a statement said the agency is still in the planning stages of where to put the barriers in Big Bend and where to install the technology. Meantime, the U.S. Supreme Court released three opinions yesterday. Nothing yet on the big cases like birthright citizenship. But Skodas did side with a Texas man who was charged for owning a gun while admitting he was a regular marijuana user. I would not have expected to see a 9-0 ruling in favor related to gun ownership like we saw with this. That's Dallas-based attorney Jeremy Wilson, who also believes birthright citizenship will not be changed. If the court does what I think a lot of people expect them to do, which is strike down this executive order on birthright citizenship, essentially things stay the way they've been. The next set of SCOTUS rulings could come next week. Jeff Andy Biggs News Radio 740, KT or H. In fact, they are set for Tuesday. Meantime, Senate Republicans on Capitol Hill continue to maintain they can't pass the Save America Act, and they won't nuke the filibuster. The only way you could get there is to undo or get rid of the legislative filibuster, and there aren't even close to the votes here in the United States Senate in order to achieve that. That's Senate Majority Leader John Thune, President Trump posting to truth social, that, quote, anybody who doesn't want to terminate the filibuster is a fool. Close quote. It's now 505. Let's look at your money. The Dow closed up 72 points yesterday to end the trading week on Wall Street. The market closed today for Juneteenth. New Fed chair, Kevin Warsh, hinted at a possible interest rate hike before the end of the year. Because it kind of leading the markets, and he wants the Fed to really focus on price stability, and he's very concerned about inflation. Financial planner Mitch Kramer says there's a good chance we'll actually see two rate hikes by early 2027. School may be out for summer, but there's a battle brewing on the Board of Education over the Bible. The State Board of Education is voting next week on a required reading list that include stories from the Bible. Conservative groups are rallying support. Mary Elizabeth Castle with sexes values as many common phrases come from the Bible. Like splitting the baby or an eye for an eye, and both of those idioms, you know, come from the Bible. She says the move helps kids understand more complex works of art. This debate is almost identical to the one involving the so-called Blue Bonnet curriculum, which the board approved and is now in use. ATRH is Carrie Locke.

The state's final report on the hill country flooding last year concluded that Camp Mystic did not have state required written emergency plans or adequate evacuation measures that could have prevented the deaths of 25 campers and two counselors. We went from the celebratory mode, if you will, that the Trump administration was in after the signing in Versailles of the MOU, the Memorandum of Understanding, that is supposed to lead to an agreement, a deal, if you will, to end the Iran war that started in February. And already snags, very, very major snags. Vice President JD Vance was supposed to be in Switzerland today. He did not depart last night because the deal is off, or at least this particular moment of meeting is off. The trek to Switzerland was already in flux. The team worked out to iron some of the logistics and figure out whether or not the Iranians would participate. But as you just heard Cliff talk about in the news, we got problems. We got problems because Iran continues to violate the deal already before it even begins. How you ask? Well, again, as we just covered, Hezbollah is Iran. Iran is Hezbollah. And that needs to be made very, very clear. The Iranian backed... terror proxy Hezbollah fires at Israel out of Lebanon. Israel, not playing the game, fires back into Lebanon at Hezbollah, and suddenly the Iranians claim that Israel has broken the deal. And President Trump... basically gives the side eye to B.Benjamin Netanyahu and the Israelis saying he expects them and all to comply with this agreement. But of course, Israel is the one being fired upon, so they're not likely to take that advice. Quoting from the White House spokesperson.

As the Vice President said at his press conference, the plans for the upcoming technical talks have not been finalized. And the U.S. delegation has been prepared to depart at the first available opportunity. But the logistics of these negotiations have never been simple or predictable. As of now, the VP is not departing tonight. This again from last night. We look forward to beginning technical talks as soon as possible. So we look forward to beginning technical talks to start having some talks about possibly having a deal maybe after 60 days. It is much less secure than a lot of people suggested that it was, including the president who last night claimed that this preliminary deal was a full surrender. Told Axios on the show that this was essentially a full surrender. An unconditional surrender, I think, was the actual wording that he used. And that has a lot of people wondering. What if you learned about not just the exercise of power, but the limits on your power? as a result of the conflict. There are no limits. No limit. No, not, I haven't learned that lesson yet. I know there are, but, you know, there are no limits. We defeated them totally militarily. We defeated them totally militarily, and he then went on to call it an unconditional surrender on a couple of different occasions. But it is not looking like that to the Iranians. The Republicans don't have the stomach for it. They won't do it. Senator John Thune won't do it. President Trump said John Thune is going to have to understand the reality of this. The Democrats will end it within minutes of taking office and then rapidly proceed to destroy our country, adding two radical left states, four Democrat senators, many congressmen and women, their dream of 21 Supreme Court justices, not just 13, an unlucky number, an impossible to beat number of electoral college votes. And that's the ball game. Popular vote landslides, and so much else. The Republican Party will never win another election. I will, sadly, be the last Republican president. Senate Majority Leader John Thune and the Republican Senate must not let this carnage, in quotes, happen. They will go down on the wrong side of history, as will all Republicans who just stood by and watched. The Republican Party isn't at stake. Our country is. John Thune wanted people to know that there's a reason why some of the senators aren't down with the idea of eliminating the filibuster. Our top story, your money. The mainstream media doesn't want to talk about it. You know, the fact that gasoline prices continue to drop. Dropping prices, is this enough to take this off the table as an issue for the fall? How do you assess it? I think if it comes down even further, I think it'll really reduce this as an issue. Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson with KTRH's Clay Travis in Buck Sexton. The average across Houston dropped another three cents overnight to 353 a gallon, statewide average at 348. Both numbers down about 50 cents from just a month ago. An improving economy has Republican chances in the midterms. Looking better. The founder of the Zeus Political Index says the GOP is still in the midterm fight, thanks to a correction in the economy that's now underway. Financial planner Richard Rosso notes that while inflation remains stubborn, that issue goes all the way back to the pandemic. We had this huge spike in prices. Then they came down and they got stuck. Now they're heading up again, but they never went back to pre-COVID levels. And people are having a really hard time with that. Why can't we go back to what prices were? The good news is crude oil prices are off.

Almost down to pre-war levels and gas prices have plunged more than 50 cents in the past three weeks. Corey Olson, News Radio 740, KTRH. Democrats are now being warned by CNN that their guaranteed blue wave in the midterms is anything but guaranteed. Robert Cahili of the Trafalgar Group says they're banking on the anti-Trump stick, but people are over it. The Democrats are hoping that they can tell people that they're doing economically worse than they are and get that stick long term. That kind of works when people angry about gas prices, but it doesn't work over the long haul and they don't feel that way. However, he says redistricting could hurt the GOP if it fires up. Voters on the left. It's 533. Talks between the U.S. and Iran that were planned for today in Switzerland postponed. This comes after an Israeli strike in southern Lebanon, and that was exactly what Vice President JD Vance said the administration did not want to see. What the president has to grow in frustrated sometimes is that we seem to be right on the cusp of a major breakthrough in the agreement. And then all of a sudden, there's a major explosion that goes off in a civilian population center in Beirut. And a lot of people who have nothing to do with Hezbollah lose their lives. JD Vance at the White House press briefing yesterday. And as Democrats continue to bash the deal Trump made with Iran, Republicans, most of them at least, try to defend him. I trust President Trump. After 10 years in a political scene, I've seen his decision making. He knows exactly what he's doing. He knows how tough this is. I give him the grace and the latitude to know that he always is going to keep the interests of America first. Ohio Senator Bernie Moreno on Fox oil futures are up to nearly $77 a barrel this morning. More on Iran at 6 o'clock. It's now 534. Here's a switch. Republicans and Democrats in Washington agreeing on something? Well, yes. House and Senate finally reach a deal on a housing bill after months of negotiations. It includes provisions to restrict purchases of single-family homes by large institutional investors, while also removing barriers to home construction. This could get to President Trump's desk next week. And that's good news because the latest data shows home ownership is dropping in Houston as more people turn to renting. A new study conducted by Rice University's state of housing found homeownership in Harris County fell by its largest margin in a decade in 2024. Economist Dan Veroni says if lawmakers want to create more opportunities, they need to look at the regulatory fees. Keep homes safe, make homes more affordable by being more rational in the application of these regulations. The report also found home insurance premiums jumped to double digits due to updated FEMA maps.

After two Texas hospitals received warnings from the Trump administration for lack of price transparency. Cliff Katie Porter and the Texas Public Policy Foundation are calling for legislative action in the upcoming session in Austin. Straightforward cash prices. So when someone comes into hospital, they know exactly what the cost is up front. It's a convoluted complex system. We've got a lot of work to do and a lot of people make a lot of money at it and they're not interested in any form of reform. He says the problem is not just with those two hospitals. It's happening all across Texas. First, it was Dr. Google. Now it's Dr. Claude or Dr. Chat, GPT. And medical experts are wanting you against using AI for advice. KTRH medical expert, Dr. Joe Kalati, says if you ask the wrong question, you're going to get the wrong answer. It's a computer. It's not going to be able to give you accurate information, so you may worry yourself inappropriately, and that's not good either. He says you're running the risk of getting misinformation by choosing the technology out of convenience over calling your medical health professional. Once again, I have Bob France sitting in for Jimmy this morning, and the whole country is waiting for the Supreme Court now. on the one of the more consequential decisions that they've made. Some are saying, some scholars are saying in decades, and maybe beyond that. And of course, we're talking about the 14th Amendment. We're talking about President Trump's intention to end birthright citizenship and to do so by executive order. According to, again, more Supreme Court scholars and students, it didn't go well. the argument for ending birthright citizenship in the oral arguments that were held a few months ago and so we're waiting maybe as early as today maybe not but we're waiting for the announcement of that decision and it is monumental because as most people know at least we would hope most people know the birthright citizenship amendment the 14th amendment was guaranteed to protect slaves of children of slaves Obviously, after emancipation, of course, any child who was born in the United States to slaves who were brought to the United States against their will, of course they were going to be treated as full citizens. And so, therefore, that's, you know, the birth of those children is what was being protected and their rights.

But what the left has turned it into, of course, is an embarrassment. It's turned the United States into a dumping ground where birther tourism runs wild. What is bertha tourism? Well, it is what it sounds like, but it's worse than that. You have people coming from all over the world, including from places that are not necessarily friendly to the United States. They're coming here. Women are six, seven months pregnant. They're hanging out for a month or two and giving birth, having their children on American soil. And then those children are automatically American citizens. And then when we try to send them back after their visa to be here expired or. If they just came here illegally and crossed the border in one of the caravans in the red carpet that Joe Biden, you know, had rolled out. But if we try to then deport those mothers and fathers, particularly the mothers, the screaming of child separation, family separation from the left comes up. And so either the parents get to stay with their American citizen child or the child has to be deported to a country that they don't even know and they're American citizens, hence the argument that they make for the 14th Amendment. But it's worse than that. Birth or tourism. can lead to the ultimate destruction of this republic because what they are doing from China and few people know this China is sending pregnant Chinese women to the United States to have their babies but they're not leaving them in the United States claiming that you know American citizenship requires that the child be allowed to stay they're willingly taking them back to China where they are raised under the communist regime. Communist China wants to raise American citizen children as communists. Then when they turn 18, they send them back to the United States to do what? To vote. And as American citizens, by birth, they have a right to vote and to vote for globalist, communist candidates and ideas and so forth that will be advantageous to the Chinese and to enemies of America. That's what's at stake here. Not a lot of people realize that's happening, but now you know, and you should share that with other people. Birth or tourism isn't just the argument of letting people come here and having American babies and then, wo is me, they're going to break up the family. No, it is much, much worse than that because the Chinese, in particular, are playing a long game. And it's a dangerous one.

We saw last week that it did rise to 4.2%, not surprisingly, when it costs more money to get things from the manufacturer to the retailer, then it costs more money when the retailer sells it to you. And everything costs more when gas prices are up and diesel prices are up because of what's going on in the war. So that is not unexpected, but what's going to take to get it back down to its 2% target? That's the question that Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh was asking on Wednesday at his first press conference. and since being appointed to that job. He said, nobody at the central bank wants to raise the rates in the near term. He said, quote, we have the capability and the commitment to deliver on price stability of 2%, and that's what we're going to do. He stressed that the participants on the Federal Open Market Committee are evenly divided on what to do with the rates, although members currently do not strongly favor either raising or lowering them. Fed officials voted 9 to 9 Wednesday on the probability of hiking the federal funds rate.

And yeah, just again, taking a look at the inflation rate and what is the Fed going to do? Are they going to raise rates? They're going to lower rates. What does President Trump want them to do? Kevin Warsh said in response to a question from the New York Times that the Federal Reserve had lost credibility over the past five years. He said the monetary policy. can be used for either inflationary or deflationary purposes and you bet rates can be used for inflationary purposes he said we are going to fix that and goodness gracious we certainly hope so again Hopefully, this memorandum of understanding leads to an actual deal that will actually make a difference for us. You know, if the Strait of Hormuz is opened, that is obviously a good thing. If the world oil market settles and those prices go back down from, I think they're around 80, 85 now. Cliff probably knows, but they were up over 100 for a little bit during the six months or so of this war. They're back down to under 85, I think. They've got to get them back down.

under 65, eventually for the gas prices to level off, and then you can certainly expect a decrease in the inflation, but what can the Fed do to move that needle and to what kind of policies will that lead to? As the chairman of the Federal Reserve System, Kevin Warsh, said the objective is to get monetary and price stability right. We had something important to say about our commitment to delivering on price stability. One way to achieve that, he said, is to rely more on real-time data, much as the private sector does. So he's directing the Fed to create numerous task forces to overhaul that approach, including a statistics task force that will develop new analytical methods using real-time inflation data that is not subject to revision. That's kind of where we are. We're hoping to chat with Mitch Kramer here. I'm not sure we're going to make that happen in the time allotted financial strategists. But quoting from Newsmax about the Fed and what Chairman Kevin Warsh is saying, the U.S. labor market is very strong right now. That is true. Despite the inflation, despite... what should be a bigger economic toll being taken on the country by a war. The labor market is still very, very strong. Job numbers, of course, from May were way above expectations, about double expectations. So certainly the labor market is strong. American ingenuity is something that Kevin Warsh likes to use for artificial intelligence. And he said the U.S. is going to emerge as a clear winner in that race, and it's actually going to help us, jobs, and our economy. He said the goal is to reform the U.S. Central Bank year by year end, I should say, making it a Federal Reserve that is clear-eyed about its mission, focus and objectives, and able to make more informed decisions. That is one of the things that... President Trump used to accuse the former Fed chairman of being, and that is not clear-eyed, but being too late. He called him too late all the time because it was too late to react to conditions in the world economy and in the marketplace to effectively impact those by moving the rates up or down. He was always too late. So Kevin Warsh is obviously President Trump's man, and hopefully that will indeed lead to the right decisions. So, yeah, it looks like we're not going to have that conversation, but that's okay because we've got plenty of other conversations to be had. The United States Department of Justice. is now getting involved in the Pride Month, Major League Baseball fiasco. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you probably should. The Major League Baseball fiasco is because 29 out of the 30 teams, thank you, Texas Rangers, for being the lone holdout. 29 of the 30 teams continue to hold pride nights, and some players are pushing back on decorating their uniforms with things that they do not believe in because of their Christian beliefs.

Well, some of them stood up, put Bible verses on their hats, and now baseball is threatening to punish them, which has led not only to the AG of Florida. to threaten an investigation and to hold MLB accountable for discrimination, religious discrimination, but also Hartmeet Dillon and the DOJ, the federal DOJ, are threatening an investigation. Senator Josh Hawley is saying they may do a congressional or Senate investigation as well. We're going to give you some reactions to that coming up in just a short while. But he has become the face of the memorandum of understanding between President Trump and the Iranians, at least for what we know right now. He is just the guy that is out there on the tour. He's doing a book tour. Maybe that's why it's just, you know, together. They're getting lumped together. But he has become the chief defender of all things, you know, Trump deal when it comes to Iran. He took to the White House press room.

to face questions. He'll be flying to Switzerland to lead negotiations for the final deal. He was supposed to have left last night. He did not because the deal has already been queered by battles between Iran by way of the Hezbollah terror proxy. And Israel. So they're already, you know, violating any ceasefire terms. And this is a big deal. I'll get to the specifics about that shortly. But, but Vice President of Ants was supposed to go that is not going to happen. He's not going to go, at least not right now anyway. So he has become essentially the face and the voice of, you know, ending this conflict or at least giving the putting the public face on it. He's the defender. He's giving interviews to The View. to Gutfeld, to the Five, to CBS, to NBC. He's going anywhere and everywhere to try to say that, look, this is a good deal. This is what President Trump has negotiated and we trust it. What's notable about the fact that it is Vice President JD Vance that has been tasked with being the chief salesman here is the fact that the former salesman has been silent, completely invisible. And you know who I'm speaking of? Marco Rubio, the Secretary of State, has been the chief voice for President Trump outside of Trump himself for the reasons for going into Iran with this Operation Epic Fury back in February in the first place. He has articulated the reasons why we are there. He has been the voice of staying the course and all the rest ever since. But once the last time he heard from Marco Rubio, it's been days. which indicates to some political observers and analysts. the astute ones anyway, it indicates that he's not on board with this quote-unquote deal. The 14-point deal, which is only about a page and a half long, which is just the memorandum of understanding, it's basically a promise to make a deal in the course of the next 60 days, but it's filled with some things that a lot of supporters of President Trump, you know, that they're concerned about. They're scratching heads going, did we all agree to that? Really? Guess who didn't agree to that? Marco Rubio has not said a word. about this memorandum of understanding. It's been Vice President JD Vance and President Trump, and that's about it. So that's a very, very interesting note here as people try to figure out where we're headed with respect to this war. Everybody is glad that the Strait of Hormuz is going to be open, but under what circumstances and under what conditions? That's another story all together. And Vice President JD Vance, again, not only is he making the case for the deal or for the memorandum of understanding, he's also taking some shots at Israel.

And President Trump made it very, very clear also last week that he is the boss and that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel will not act without his say so. Okay, so let's dig into this a little bit because it's getting more and more interesting by the day. Yesterday, late yesterday, this story broke, the EEOC, that is the Department of Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. I'm sorry, let me do this all over again. The Department of Justice has asked the EEOC to investigate Major League Baseball over its alleged discrimination against three Christian baseball players who put Bible verses on their pride night hats during a game last week. In a letter to Baseball Commissioner Rob Manfred, Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights, Harmeet Dillon, said she has referred the matter to the EEOC for further investigation. In a social media post accompanying the letter she indicated the EEOC planned. to investigate major league baseball. This is because baseball has given a warning.

and a threat of future repercussions against them if they dare to protect and defend their own First Amendment rights to free expression and freedom of religion, especially when their religion forces, or excuse, when their employer forces them to display something that they disagree with and that is a violation of their religion. We're talking about the Bible verses that some of the San Francisco Giants players put on their hat next to their rainbow colored. SF during their quote unquote pride night just like I said a week ago. Now this isn't the first legal threat against baseball for essentially violating those players rights. Josh Hawley, senator from Missouri, wrote a very detailed letter to Rob Manfred of Major League Baseball demanding some answers and threatening potential investigations from the Senate. To assist my review of these matters, wrote Holly, please respond to the following request by no later than June 19th. That's today, a complete copy of the uniform regulation, a list of every instant over the last five seasons, et cetera, et cetera, where players have been worn for putting things on their uniforms, et cetera. But that's not all. The Attorney General of Florida is launching an investigation into baseball after they warned the three Giants pitchers simply because they wore Bible verses on their Pride Night caps. The Attorney General in Florida, A.G. Uckmire said, do you practice religious discrimination in Florida Major League Baseball? You'll be hearing from my office soon. Now, all of this. Then brings us to one of the announcers for the San Francisco Giants, former Major League Baseball player Mike Kruko. Mike Kruko went on a bit of a tirade during a broadcast, complaining that the players would dare to put their Bible verses on the hats next to those sacrosanct rainbows on the SF. Quite frankly, quite literally, those rainbows don't represent what these religious, these Christian players, what they believe it represents. You know, the rainbow has been kind of co-opted, if you will, by the LGBTQ community. But what the Bible verses say that these players are using is that the rainbow is symbolic of God's covenant with his people. It is exactly what he gave his people as an indication of that. And so the idea that it's been being taken over by something that they see as being sinful, or at the very least, not something they believe in, gives them the right to say, yeah, we're going to, if you're going to add these rainbows to our traditional uniforms, then we're going to add something else to our traditional uniforms. Well, Cruco said, oh. Quote, I think when you're a player and you come into this environment, it's your responsibility to know just how sensitive this city is, San Francisco, in regards to that cultural freedom and religious freedom and just the way you live your life. And I think they were in for a rude awakening with the response. And it wasn't just from the gay community. It was from the Northern California community that supports the gay community. Well, guess what? These players are in the Christian community, Mike.

And they believe in not supporting something that is in violation of their own religious beliefs as spelled out in the Bible. Forcing them to just agree with the rest of the city is the most ridiculous hypocrisy that I've ever heard. Kruko went on to say there's an irony too because the Giants organization is getting dumped on as well and that hurt me. It hurt me because I saw in 1994 they were the first team to ever take on the challenge of going against public opinion and the outrage of even associating with the gay community and openly came out and said we support the gay community and I'm going to stop right there because guess what? The gay community and rainbows have exactly zero. to do with baseball. These are baseball players not walking activist billboards. And they shouldn't be forced to wear billboards, especially of things that they do not necessarily agree with. That doesn't mean they're attacking the gay community. It means they're not going to promote it, especially with a symbol that is very, very important to them representing God's covenant with his people. And the last thing I'll say on it is this. For now, anyway. It is the height of hypocrisy, because what baseball is doing with these Pride Nights is celebrating the departure from the norm. In other words, the norm in society, of course, is why we're all here, because of heterosexual unions between males and females. It is the extreme minority that is in the crowd of LGBTQ. Okay, but at the baseball pride nights, the LGBTQ is the majority. It is everywhere. And now these players are the minorities, and they are the ones being told, you can't do that. You can't be different than what everybody else in the ballpark is doing that night. If you're not proudly displaying your rainbow, if you're putting your Bible verse next to it, you are not allowed to do that. So how about the hypocrisy? Are you allowed to be different than the rest or not? On a night in which they celebrate the differences of the population, they're not allowing Christians to express their differences with what's going on. Sorry about the extended rant. You know, you go back about a month ago. It was a 74% chance according to the cash prediction markets. Now it's just a 22% chance. This is this type of stuff that Donald Trump needs. That is pollster Harriet. And then after months of doom and gloom over the economy, another pollster, this one with Zeus political index, now believes a turnaround is underway, which could help Republicans. Financial Planet Richard Rosso says it starts with those gas prices. I call it the drive-by sentiment because you drive by a gas station and you notice the price of gas. And if you see it headed in the right direction, it triggers positive sentiment. I'm like, oh, this is great. It's heading back in the right direction. Gas has plunged more than 50 cents in the last three weeks. It gets worse for the left. Their biggest cheerleader, CNN, now advising Democrats, that blue wave isn't going to materialize. Their lead in the polls has shrunk dramatically, but it's partly early maneuvering. How to set expectation to people by putting out something reasonable so that people start, well, that's reasonable. Robert Cahili of the Trafalgar group says they can then use this to spend positives when the numbers go up slightly. And while the GOP holds the advantage currently, there is an Achilles heel. Redistricting all these places, I think the end result may be a strong feeling of outrage among African-American voters.

If that drives a presidential-like turnout, the GOP could have issues. Home ownership in Houston has seen a decline according to a new study by Rice University. It found that it fell by its largest margin in a decade in 2024. So it's two things. It's the interest rates and it's the regulatory costs. They're imposed at the local, state, national level, and then you roll in the cost of land. The economist Dan Veroni says lawmakers need to rein in the regulations. Trump administration has warned a pair of Texas hospitals that they're failing to provide transparency in pricing. And Dr. Cliff Katie Porter with the Texas Public Policy Foundation says it's a problem all across Texas. Yes, it is. And it's throughout the entire healthcare industry, not just hospitals, but the insurance. That's why Katie Porter and the TPPF are pushing lawmakers to take action. We want upfront pricing and costs throughout the entire system, including all the various middlemen. Do you believe? that the birthright citizenship amendment, if you will, should be changed. And what do you think the Supreme Court should do about it? Because it's a big question. We're literally talking about voting rights. We're talking about cultural battles as well, especially when you consider the birth of tourism we described in the first hour this morning, in which some... Foreign countries are having their women come here, delivering their babies, bringing them home to communist countries, raising them as good little communists, and then sending them back to the US at age 18 to vote changing. and completely poisoning our elections and the country. This minor league baseball team, I posted this on my Facebook page yesterday. And my headline was, some heroes don't wear capes and they don't wear Pride Month crap either. Massive appreciation to those players, big middle finger to the team. Here's why I said that last part, because the team decided to fine and punish those players. But yeah, what Cliff just said is exactly right. This team in the Atlantic League, the York Revolution. That's the same league, by the way, in which Trevor Bauer plays, which is also another crime that should be rectified. He should be in Major League Baseball. He's still one of the best pitchers in the world who's been blackballed over lies that were told about him by girls. Anyway, players for the revolution refused to wear the pride jerseys. The team players, or excuse me, the players on the team made this decision. The team was all about it. That's why they made the jerseys. But they forfeited their game against the Southern Maryland Blue Crabbs on Wednesday, and the team threw the players right under the bus, a scathing statement saying, that the team was deeply troubled and profoundly disappointed by the decision of these players. To be clear, quote, the action by these players is completely inconsistent with our view as the most welcoming place in York, yada, yada. The jerseys, which would have been worn on the team's 11th annual Pride night, had rainbow sleeves. The team announced it would be making a $10,000 donation to something called the Rainbow Rose Center as a, quote, small token of our regret for the last minute change of plans and support. for our LG and then 25 letter alphabet representing partners to support and further their work in making sure that York community is as inclusive as we strive to make Wellspan Park in York, Pennsylvania. Despite no game being played, the revolution will still host a free and fun celebration of recognition and inclusion, which I guess they did last night. And they're hosting a Juneteenth celebration today. The Revolution players apparently have been fined and not suspended because they need the players. That's why they had to forfeit. But they did get fine and reprimanded for their decision. So, yeah, that's bold and that's strong and good for them. If you don't believe in something like this again, it doesn't belong in the ballpark anyway. We've got another talk back here. Marco, let's lay it on us here. I actually 100% agree that those players should be able to put whatever they want on their uniforms, especially since they're being forced to wear that pride stuff. And as much as I hate to say it, the Texas Rangers, I believe, are the only baseball team that does not make their players do that. As much as I hate them, I hate to admit it. The U.S. Supreme Court released three opinions yesterday. Nothing yet on birthright citizenship. But Scotus did side with a Texas man who was charged for owning a gun while admitting he was a regular marijuana user. I would not have expected to see a 9-0 ruling in favor related to gun ownership like we saw with this. That's Dallas-based attorney Jeremy Wilson, who also believes birthright citizenship will not be changed. If the court does what I think a lot of people expect them to do, which is strike down this executive order on birthright citizenship, essentially things stay the way they've been. U.S. immigration and customs enforcement officials revealed that 735 criminal aliens arrested in the Houston area last month accounted for more than 1,700 criminal convictions, nearly 1,200 of them involving violent crimes or threats to public safety. These include... Murderers, rapists, child predators, arsonists, drug traffickers, and members of MS-13, Serenos 13, 18th Street, Tangle Blast, and other brutal gangs. ICE Houston Acting Field Office Director Gabriel Martinez, excuse me. said the numbers reflect who were arresting every single month, not just in May, not an anomaly. Quote, we are releasing this data not because it stands out from any other month, but because this is a snapshot of who we're arresting every single month as a result of the reckless immigration policies enacted by prior administrations that allowed gang members, murderers, child rapists, and other violent criminals to flood into the country unvetted. The public needs to know that the aliens weren't targeting, that we are targeting, aren't the harmless economic migrants that the mainstream media and elected officials try to portray. These are violent criminals who repeatedly violate our laws, and there's no doubt if we don't arrest and deport them from the U.S., they will continue to commit crimes, and more Americans will be victimized as a result. You just heard it in Cliff's newscast, too. If one... Innocent American citizen is killed by an illegal alien. It is one too many. This doesn't have to happen. It can be stopped. Officials told Breitbart News in Texas that 25 of these criminal aliens were members of the violent gangs that we just listed. The 735 criminal aliens arrested in May had accumulated over 1,700 total convictions, 70% again for violent crimes which pose threats to the safety of the community.

That kind of works when people angry about gas prices, but it doesn't work over the long haul and they don't feel that way. This could get to President Trump's desk next week. And that's good news because the latest data shows home ownership in Houston is dropping as more people decide to rent. A new study conducted by Rice University's state of housing found homeownership in Harris County fell by its largest margin in a decade in 2024. Economist Dan Veroni says if lawmakers want to create more opportunities, they need to look at the regulatory fees. Keep homes safe, make homes more affordable by being more rational in the application of these regulations. This isn't an anomaly. This is how it is every single month. thousands of people being arrested or excuse me hundreds of arrests thousands of crimes committed by them uh countless numbers of those violent crimes but um let's take it up a notch now the ufc plot the plot to attack the ufc white house event freedom 250 uh this past sunday on flag day the ringleader of the purported terrorist plot is indeed, drum roll please, shock of all shocks, an illegal alien. A Mexican illegal immigrant named Abraham Alvarez. identified in federal documents as the ringleader of the plot to carry out this mass casualty event, aka a terrorist act, at the UFC White House event on June 14th. He's an illegal alien in Mexico who overstayed from Mexico, I should say, who overstayed his visa, according to Homeland Security information. He came to the U.S. in 2014 and stayed here as a part of DACA. He was granted permission by Obama to stay through the DACA program, the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. You know, all of those dreamers that we hear about all of the time. Yeah, he dreamed of coming here and committing a terror attack or staying here to commit a terror attack. Five co-conspirators were arrested so far this month. for planning others to use drones equipped with explosives, to kind of create a diversion, to crash out, crash into buildings around the White House, forcing a mass evacuation from the White House. And when the evacuation happened, a team of snipers was all set to mow down all of those fleeing the UFC event.

Federal investigators say Alvarez was responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the entire thing. Court records ousted him as a foreign national, considering he consented to pop to consular notification after his arrest this weekend, though his documents provided no information on his specific status or country of origin. He was arrested by the FBI on the day of the fight in Omaha, Nebraska. The White House and the FBI declined to comment about the whereabouts of the other individuals involved with that group. But the, quote, illegal alien for Mexico never should have been allowed in our country, said DHS acting secretary Lauren Biss in a statement to Fox. He was the ringleader of this failed terror attack targeting UFC Freedom 250 at the White House. He will face justice and swiftly be removed from our country. So yeah, I'll say it again. Ice. Boy, they're bad, aren't they? ICE, we should obstruct them. We should get in the way of them. We should agitate them. We should, we should demonize them. We should protest them because we want our terrorists to add to the list of murderers, rapists, sexual assaulters, arses, gang members, cartel members, drug runners. The numbers kind of say don't panic. If you are a left of center individual, well, you're probably not listening to this radio station or this show. But if you're left of center individual, don't be too cocky or too confident because there are warning signs that this blue wave you're counting on not going to happen in November of 2026. Harry Enton on CNN with some news. I think the warning sign is this. Democrats have an edge, but compared to what we see historically, it's really not that big of a league. I mean, just take a look here. Okay, this is Congress, National, June polls, Dem leads, and this is NBC News, midterm years with the GOP press. Look at this. They're up by five points, but that's half the lead they had back in 2018 when it was 10 points, and less than half the lead they had back in 2006 with 11 points when Democrats took back the House in both of those years, and now the Democratic lead is on a single hand. One, two, three, four, five points, and it's this type of lead where you say, You know what, Democrats are ahead. But don't count your chickens just quite yet. And Harry, we're talking about this. As time goes on, you and I have kept on looking at these numbers saying it just doesn't look like the numbers we seen when there had been waves or Democrats in the past. What are the trends in the other polls? Yeah, okay. So this is not just one poll in which we are seeing this. There is this group of pulsars that are out there that are just not showing the wave you might expect given where the president's approval rating is. Okay, what are we talking about? We're talking about NBC, Marquette University Law School. In Ipsos, look at where they were January and February, and look at where they are May and June. NBC, down a point. MU law, down three points. Ipsos, basically staying the same. So the Democrats hold these leads, but again, you have this group of pollsters that are out there with this lead. Simply put, is not matching what you might expect if you're expecting a Democratic wave. And that's exactly the point that we're trying to make here. And this is before gas prices go down a little bit because of the, you know, A supposed end, I'm not really bullish on this, but the supposed end of the war with Iran. I don't think it's going to be an end of the war. I think there's a high probability. We're going to have to go back to bombing them again because they cannot trust them to do anything that they say they're going to do. But. Be that as it may, the signals now are that the straight is going to be open. Gas prices are down. Oil prices are down to what I think I heard Cliff say earlier today, $77 a barrel. You know, if it gets back down to under 65 and gas gets down to under $3 a gallon, it's going to be even more people who are, you know, not thinking about abandoning the Republican vote and voting for the Democrats here. Then you add into it. The redistricting fight and the redistricting wins in so many places because the courts are stopping the Democrats from using their gerrymander districts by race in particular, thanks to the Supreme Court. So, you know, a lot of seats are going to be in play. And the idea that this, look, that drop from, you know, half, or by half, I should say, that you just heard him talk about in 2018.

Democrats were up at this time of the year by 10 points in 2006 by 11 points and they went on to win majorities. But here they're only up by five points, half and less than half of that. So, you know, Hope is not lost. Hope is not lost if you are conservative and concerned about keeping the majority because of, well, what President Trump, at the very top of the show, if you were listening way back at 5 a.m., we told you what President Trump said in his truth social post, about what they're going to do to the states, what they're going to do to the Senate, what they're going to do to the Supreme Court, and all of it in order to keep forever power.
