Our top story at 501. I always think of myself as a Christian who hates Christianity. That's James Talarico exposed again from an interview he did with a trans theologian. Matt Kittle with the Federalist says Talariko is literally as radical as the squad. He wants to turn Christ into Karl Marx. He wants to turn the gospel into the communist manifesto. Yeah, he also called Jesus a socialist. Meantime, a pair of New Paul show Ken Paxton leading James Talarico in the Senate race. The new UT number showing James Talarico losing what was an eight-point lead over John Cornyn in April to now trailing Ken Paxton by one. Elsewhere, another three socialists win congressional primaries in New York. They are Brad Lander, Claire Valdez, and Darya Laza Avila Chevalier, all backed by Zohran Mamdani. The Democrat Party has abandoned all of that, and they have instead adopted this radical, revolutionary, and in many cases, violent ideology that wants to tear America down and destroy everything that we know and love from top to bottom. That's White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller with KTRH is Sean Hannity. Last night's primaries proved yet again. Democrats love socialism.

Especially the young ones. That's where the energy is, the Democratic Party. And it's an extension, really, of Barack Obama. It's a far cry from the Democrat policies of Bill Clinton. That's political commentator and analyst Jeff Croir, and the numbers don't lie. 74% of Democrats prefer socialism over capitalism. More government, taking care of people, health care is a right, you know, rent control, city-run groceries. And all assisted by decades of indoctrination. Jeff Figgs News Radio 740, KTRH. The Trump endorsement does come through yet again, as South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson wins the gubernatorial runoff last night. 504 now, President Trump hitting the campaign trail in Pennsylvania yesterday talking about the economy and Iran. The Iran economy has been crushed and their defense industrial base has been damaged so severely that it'll take them many years to rebuild, many, many years. And now we're trying to work out a deal that's fair. In the meantime, oil futures are all the way down to $71.96 a barrel this morning. Now, he doesn't have to abide by this, but the Senate, following the House, adopted a war powers resolution to limit Trump's military power in Iran. Four Republicans sided with the Dems, including Susan Collins of Maine, Alaska's Lisa Murkowski, Rand Paul of Kentucky, and Louisiana's Bill Cassidy. Who, yeah, lost his primary to a Trump-induced candidate earlier this year. On the deportation front, recent data from ICE shows that agents arrested more than 700 criminal illegal aliens last month right here in Houston, many of them with convictions for violent crimes and probably more that we don't even know about yet. Nicaragua, Honduras, Venezuela, do we think that they are effectively policing those countries? Or is it possible that these people have committed violent crimes, even if they have not been charged in their home country? Chris Rousseau with Texans for Strong Border says many of these illegal aliens are affiliated with gangs like Trendieragua. Another win for Trump. A federal appeals court clears the way for the administration to resume nationwide use of expedited removal. This lifts a lower court ruling that has blocked the policy since last year. But the damage already done by the open border policies of Joe Biden. And a Dallas Federal Reserve report says the huge influx of illegal immigrants has raised home prices and rents. When you bring 12 to 15, maybe 20 million people into the country in a four-year period of time, of course it's going to create demand on housing. Right Bart's Bob Price says it's time to face up to the pressure. It's also put on water and electricity resources, schools, hospitals, and health care systems and jails. KTRH. It is now 506. A Houston woman connected to a $100 million health care fraud scheme is headed to the FBI's most wanted list. Emily Thigh faces federal charges. Investigators think she fled to Vietnam. As the Justice Department announced it's charged over 400 people for more than $6.5 billion in health care fraud. You saw what we did in just two weeks by apprehended two of the most wanted fraudsters. With your help, we will apprehend the rest of them. FBI director Kash Patel. How about the DOJ jumping right on it? $6.5 billion, not nearly enough, but a very, very good start in health care fraud schemes that they have indicted over and brought charges against. The DOJ announced yesterday. 450. You just heard this from Cliff in the tail end of the newscast there. 450 defendants total charged with health care fraud totaling over $6.5 billion in false claims. It was the second largest amount ever charged in a health care fraud operation. You should think about that for a moment. 6.5 billion with a B. And sometimes I know we get numb to these numbers. You know, we hear billions and trillions and so forth, especially when you've got a nearly $40 trillion national debt. But six and a half billion dollars would be, and that was only the second largest ever in terms of health care fraud. But it's a huge, huge message that, you know, doging, if you will, in looking for fraud and all of our use of our tax dollars and the waste of our tax dollars going to people and organizations that didn't deserve it, that continues to be, you know, a core issue. for the Trump administration. So charges were brought.

against 90 medical professionals for health care fraud schemes, including wound care, hospice, adult daycare, and opioid distribution. In other words, a lot of things that nobody can prove were ever done. The DOJ's health care fraud take down and other fraud enforcement actions also included what they said were the largest number of Medicaid fraud defendants. That, of course, is what is happening in Minnesota. It's happening in California. Citizen journalism has uncovered so much of it in Ohio as well. Those are the three kind of epicenters. The Somali population of Minnesota, the second largest Somali population in the country, is in Columbus, Ohio, and then, of course, Somali and beyond in California as well. But just massive. 295 defendants came from that core group, over $518 million in false claims there. And Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.. said the allegations in these cases. are quote, particularly disturbing. Some defendants allegedly ordered medically unnecessary tests. Others prescribed products that patients didn't need. Some fueled opioid addiction to increase their own revenue. That's right. They kept people hooked so that they would continue to have to be able to provide treatments. Patients died, according to Robert F. Kennedy Jr.., believing that they were receiving legitimate medical care from providers who did not view them as patients, but billing opportunities. So they actually... killed people in the process of, quote, unquote, providing care for those people. So it's a huge day. The DOJ receiving unprecedented cooperation from states, finally. So this is a big deal. Fraudsters can no longer rip off American taxpayers, said Todd Blanche, the Attorney General. That's a good piece of news to start our day. All right, it is 510 now. So, yeah, just to the socialism story, I don't know how we can really possibly avoid dealing with this. The left has just gone so far off of the rails. It's really, really hard to put it into words. They're embracing the most destructive ideology and economic system in human history. And that is what socialism is. I ran through so many of the socialist countries. in the world over the course of the last 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 years, really, just in the last century. And the hundreds of millions of people who died because of socialism. And here we are with Zohran Mamdani. I call him Zoltar because he reminds me of the machine in the movie big. But Zohran Mamdani backed three different socialist candidates in New York yesterday and went three for three. These are anti-ice radicals, anti-ice Zohran Mamdani. backed socialist. Now they call themselves democratic socialist. They think putting that adjective, that modifier somehow in front of socialist, somehow makes it not socialist. And you know what? To a lot of people in this country who don't understand it, maybe it works. That's good. politicking that's very good strategy but i'm here to try to clear the record and that is to tell you that there's no such thing there's no difference rather between democratic socialists and socialists and there's also no difference between socialist and communist that's the reality and people need to embrace that so among the policies i'll give you some of the examples of what happened yesterday assembly woman claire valdez who was backed by Zohran Mamdani she ran for ran on a platform of unions for all housing for all Medicare for all. Abolish ICE and protect immigrants. A Puerto Rico for its people, which means statehood for Puerto Rico. Transit for all. That means free travel. Queer and trans liberation, free transgender surgeries for anybody who wants to have their bodies mutilated. Guaranteed reproductive justice, abortion on demand, and education at every stage of life, which means free college.

Now, if you just tried to wrap your brain around that and what kind of a cost that would be to the taxpayers, if you tried to understand how the infrastructure of the country would have to change to provide all of those things, it is simply A, not possible in B, it is literally the death sentence for the Republic, if any or all of those things happened. All right, if capitalism was toppled, if liberty, if freedom of religion, I mean, honestly, if those things happen, the republic is gone. And the people of New York said, yay, this is for us. Let's do it. Just think of that for a moment. Her platform for immigration reads, quote, Donald Trump's violent and inhumane immigration policy has created a national emergency. ICE is killing people in detention and in the streets, ripping families apart and sowing distrust and fear in cities across the country, end quote. Think about how far we have fallen in just, you know, a year and a half since November of 2024. In November of 2024, President Trump won overwhelmingly running on ice, running on closing the border and so forth. And now she has turned around and weaponized and ran on the Trump's border policies and his deportation policies and so forth are all of these evil things. And the people of New York said, yeah. And they voted for her. And she wasn't the only one, like I said. That was one of the three candidates. There are others, two others that Cliff was talking about that won these races. And Zohran Mamdani backed all three of them. Democratic socialism is on the rise in this country. Please do not be misled. Please do not be. told that it's no big deal. Don't just, you know, it's hard to understand what it all means and gloss over it. Seriously, if we're not careful, this is the kind of thing that happened again in former free states, former free nations that let themselves slip into socialism and then looked and said what on earth happened as they were struggling to survive, quite literally to survive. It has happened time and time again. We cannot let it happen here. All right, it is 526. Speaking of capitalism, which is the answer to socialism, let's see what's going on in the markets today. Our economy is ready to store to levels the world has not seen before. President drop in Pennsylvania talking about the economy. The mainstream media never mentions his successes, you know, like gasoline prices dropping more than 50 cents over the last month across Houston, down to 3.45 a gallon this morning. That said, there is new data showing that one in three Americans under the age of 35 lives with mom and dad. Economist Hank Lewis at Lone Star College says housing costs started going up under Joe Biden. Large corporations buying up properties has also played a role. But this may be a case where government regulation is necessary to stop large, deep-pocketed corporations from buying up all the housing. They need to have that housing back on the market and released so that way supply shifts to the right. Prices go down and the prices become fairer in the market. And right on cue, the House passed that housing bill last night after the Senate did, so it's going to be signed by the president later today. Overnight trading this morning is mixed as oil dips down to $72 and $8 a barrel.

continues to dispute parts of the agreement it made with President Trump, specifically on their missile program. Secretary of State Marco Rubio says Tehran needs to be careful because they're literally playing with fire. We know what they agreed to. I don't know why they have to say the things they say, whatever their internal or domestic politics is, I guess they'll navigate it. But we know what they agreed to do, and now they'll either do it or they won't. And if they do, the process moves forward and if they don't, the president will have some decisions to make. Marco Rubio in the UAE. As for another American enemy, Texas Congressman Pat Fallon, is filed a bill to block the intelligence community from supporting schools with ties to the Chinese Communist Party. The fact that this was even necessary is being called out as a problem in and of itself. The United States doesn't have a sufficient perception of threat from China, just as we didn't perceive al-Qaeda to be a real threat before 9-11. China expert and author Gordon Chang says this issue needs to be addressed from the top down quickly. We have not had a president since Eisenhower, who was willing to call China an enemy. We have to recognize the danger. Unfortunately, we're not. Chang says if passed, Fallon's bill would be a good first step, but there's still a lot more we need to do. Ethan Buchanan, News Radio 740, KTRH. Teacher misconduct in the meantime continues to be a priority for state lawmakers. Texas Senator Paul Betancourt says we need to crack down on private messaging between educators and kids. There have been hundreds and hundreds of these cases. Texas Education Agency has a public dashboard that's supposed to track misconduct reports more than one in 10 this year involve inappropriate relationships and communication. 534 James Talarico's past comes back to haunt him again. This time it's a five-year-old interview resurfacing where he calls himself a Christian that hates Christianity. You'll hear that, plus we'll have reaction at six. James Talarico's a radical. The New York Democrats while they're downright socialist. And those socialists had some big wins in primaries last night. Claire Valdez, big win. 20 points to me. That is a 13,000 point win right there. 13,000 vote win. Oh, but it gets bigger than that as we continue to look all about. Now, Brad Lander, what a wipeout of Dan Gomez, 65 to 34. That tells you all you need to know about where the party is going. That is Kevin Cork reporting. A pair of Trump haters took losses in their races, though. George Conway, the ex-husband, former Trump advisor, Kellyanne Conway, and Jack Schlossberg. That's the grandson of JFK, both losing the race to replace the retiring Jerry Nadler, yet another Trump hater. It's 535. Screw worm continues to spread even into other states like New Mexico, and it could be directly because of the method that the USDA... is trying to use to stop it. Sterile flies. So they don't turn the flies loose. They drop the pupa. And the pupa hatch into adults. And they're just commingled, sterilized males and female. So they just mate with each other. They don't even have to go out and find a mate. Commissioner Sid Miller says he wants the USDA to use the more effective and cheaper insecticide method used in the 70s and 80s. But so far, Secretary Brooke Rollins has ignored his warnings.

And it's like, yeah, you know, Christians really need to hate Christianity. Holy goodness. Brandon Gill. Representative Brandon Gill actually posted about this on X yesterday, writing, quote, James Talarico says, I think of myself as a Christian who hates Christianity. So, this guy hates Christianity, hates meat, hates guns, hates oil, thinks white people are inherently racist, thinks that the Bible justifies abortion, and that God is non-binary. End of quote. And he wants to represent Texans in the United States Senate. That's my ad in.

Brandon Gill summarized it very nicely there. Holy goodness. And I also heard the numbers from Cliff. And if you look at it from a trending standpoint, where James Talarico was over John Cornyn to where things stand now polling wise with Ken Paxton. You know, it's been about a nine point swing. I think I heard him say it was James Talarico plus eight over John Cornyn. But now it's Ken Paxton by one. Okay, that's a great trend, I suppose. But still, how on earth is it even close? How could anybody be neck and neck? in this race, in Texas. This is radicalism on steroids. Let me put it another way. James Talarico, by my observation, and listening to his words, reading what he has written, James Talarico makes Beta O'Rourke look conservative. Think about that. And yeah, I called him Beta. What of it? It is 540. Now let's do traffic in one once again. Look at me hitting a turkey leg with my Texas shirt on. All right, let's go to the North Freeway, Bob Francis. It's I-45 Southbound. Okay, we covered this story a little bit yesterday since Iran and Breitbart about the number of illegal aliens that Joe Biden brought into this country and what it did to American home prices. But maybe you don't quite have a firm grasp of what that really means. Let's welcome Jason Rich Wines Center for Immigration Studies to discuss. Jason, good morning. Well, thanks for having me. Yes, it's good to have you. So, you know, home prices are up on, you know, I think organically that has just been, you know, the nature of things, you know, with inflation in a variety of different areas with respect to what it takes to build new homes. So home prices are through the roof. How much worse are they because of Joe Biden's immigration policies?

Well, quite a bit based on the research. I mean, the research actually has been pretty consistent on this, that when immigration goes up in a particular area, the price of homes and the price of rents goes up as well. It's not too surprising because, obviously, with more immigration, you have more demand for housing. And the fact is, immigration can rise a lot faster than we can build homes. And we saw that especially during the Biden administration when you had this unprecedented wave. of illegal immigration that came in during his four years. And, you know, the recent research is suggesting that probably accounts for around 20 to 40 percent of the entire increase that we saw in home prices and rents during that period. Wow. That's a stunning number. I didn't realize about the percentage. What is the estimate that CIS is going on in terms of number of illegals who came in, both known and unknowns, gotaways and so on and so forth during the four years of Biden? Well, the number who came in is in the high single-digit millions, probably seven or eight million. But you have to remember there's a kind of gray area here that really got exacerbated by the Biden administration. Normally, we think that an illegal immigrant is someone who's in the country without a valid visa. And I think that is the correct approach. But the Biden administration exploited certain loopholes like the parole power or temporary protected status. to intentionally allow in millions of people who don't have visas. You can come on in and we'll have a hearing for you in a few years and make sure you show up to it. So you have all these gray area kind of immigrants coming in. It's like the president basically created his own Immigration and Nationality Act so that he could just invite in whoever he wanted whenever he wanted. And now the impact, of course, of all of those people, as we just pointed out, is affecting homeowners. It's affecting renters. What other impacts on the economy besides home and, like I said, homeownership and rentals are we talking about? Well, economically, whenever you bring in a lot of immigrants, you have to worry about the fiscal costs as well because immigrants, on average, tend to have lower skills than the average American, and they tend to have more children. And so you end up at a situation where they're taking in or consuming a lot of means-tested benefits. Some people say, well, immigrants aren't allowed to have welfare. But the fact is that their children can if they're born in the United States. And so if you're an immigrant, even an illegal immigrant, You come in the United States and then have a child, and you can't afford to pay for the health care of that child. You can put that child on Medicaid. And clearly, that's a benefit to the illegal immigrant. And now we're paying for that illegal immigrant's children. And so fiscal costs are definitely something we also want to look at. We're talking to Jason Rich Wine Center for Immigration Studies, and we're talking about fiscal costs. I'm curious, though, do you have an opinion on what the court is about to do? As long as I've got you from CIS, birth or tourism, which is a huge concern. Birthright citizenship is about to be decided, hopefully soon, by the Supreme Court. Do you have a prediction?

I do. It's not a particularly positive one. Before I give you my prediction, let me just emphasize to your listeners that birthright citizenship is an extraordinarily irrational policy in a day's world. Maybe it made sense back in the mid-19th century when we didn't really have illegal immigration in the modern sense that we do today. But the idea that someone could just sneak across the border, have a child, and that child is an American citizen, or the idea that someone from China. could get a tourist visa and stop in just for a couple of months and have a child and then go back to China and then have that child the American citizen. That makes so little sense that I can't believe anyone would defend it on policy grounds. But on the constitutional question, here's my prediction, and this is worth as much as you paid for it, which is that I think the Supreme Court is going to rule... not necessarily that the order is unconstitutional. In other words, that the Constitution requires birthright citizenship, but they're going to rule that only Congress can make that decision and not the president by himself, which is what Trump is trying to do. That's my prediction. It's kind of a middle ground, and at least if that happens, we'll be able to tell Congress, hey, are you going to actually do something now about this? Are you going to continue just to sit back? You know, probably not a great ruling, but better than the alternative. Yeah, yeah, you know, you're right. It is kind of middle ground there. And based on what most of the predictions are from Supreme Court observers, it could be a lot worse. So maybe that's the best case scenario. Jason Rich White, Center for Immigration Studies. The most popular figure in our country, particularly on the conservative right, is this, you know. socialist anarchist from ancient Palestine. Yeah, Talariko was talking to a self-admitted transgender queer Latinx podcast host. Bat Kittle of the Federalist found the interview. He's responsible for having it go viral yesterday. But I think the broader story underneath it all is if this guy is elected, he will do what he has talked about in all of these unearthed interviews coming out now.

He is a far-left Marxist socialist. Meantime, a pair of new poll show Ken Paxton leading James Talarico in the Senate race. 603 on KTRH, President Trump has joined the midterm fight campaigning in Pennsylvania, talking about the successes of Operation Epic Fury in Iran. They were the bully of the Middle East, and now we're leaving Iran with no Navy, no Air Force, no anti-aircraft. No missile capability, no nuclear program. And how about this? So all futures are down to $71.81 and 81 cents a barrel with overnight futures trading mixed across the board. The Senate following the House adopted a war powers resolution to limit Trump in Iran for Republicans cited with Democrats, including... Louisiana's Bill Cassidy. This is non-binding, so Trump can pretty much ignore it. Despite record low numbers of border crossings by illegal aliens, ICE agents in Houston have been busy arresting hundreds of criminal illegal aliens last month. This just goes to show how bad the border crisis in past years really was. Even though 700 plus sounds like a huge number of people, that still only averages to about 25 per day for the month of May. Chris Russo with Texans for strong borders says this is all just fractions of the total illegal alien population. We had over 10 million border encounters during the Biden administration. There's a lot more work to be done. It probably is going to be more than one administration worth of work. He says a bigger focus needs to be put on mass deportation operations. especially workplace enforcement. Ethan Buchanan, News Radio 740, KTRH. Judicial obstruction overturned. A federal appeals court says the Trump administration can resume nationwide use of expedited removal. This reverses a lower court ruling that has blocked the policy for about a year now. Elsewhere, a combined 450 years in prison is handed out to a group of people who attacked a North Texas ice facility. Eight individuals are sentenced to decades behind bars for last year's armed July 4th attack on the Prairieland ICE detention center in Alvarado, Texas, which resulted in a police officer shot in the neck. Alleged organizer Benjamin Netanyahu Song, who shot and wounded the officer, was sentenced to 100 years in prison. The seven others received terms ranging from 30 to 70 years. Prosecutors calling it domestic terrorism, calling the violence and attack plotted by Antifa. operatives. That is Fox's Lily and Woo. By the way, we're still paying the economic costs of Joe Biden's open borders. The crisis jacked up housing prices. Breitbart's Bob Price says is actually more than that. Pressure on health care hospitals, emergency rooms, schools, classrooms, even our jails are overcrowded with illegal aliens. A new Dallas Fed report says the influx of millions raised home prices and rents. By the end of the Biden administration, our foreign-born population was 52 million.

I spent a great deal of time on yesterday's show talking about socialism and talking about all of the regimes that have engineered just millions of deaths, millions and millions of death collectively over the last century with socialism and communism. And yet here we are in the United States and Democrats are saying, bring it on. Bring us more of that. We'll do socialism better than it's ever been done before. Joining us now, Jeff Carrere, political analyst and commentator. Jeff, good morning. Hey, good morning. How are you, Bob? I'm okay. I'm a little worried, though. I really am. And I mean, I've already known that our left of center friends are just a little bit off. But holy goodness, they are embracing an ideology and an economic model that has, like I said, killed millions. What is going on?

Yeah, it's really the energy in the Democrat Party now. I mean, this is driven by young people. You look at polls and Democrats are now embracing socialism more than capitalism. And I really trace it back to Obama somewhat. And then really Bernie Sanders became someone that embraced that title. And, I mean, he did very well in his presidential runs. And some would say, I mean, he really won and had it stolen from him. And he stayed involved, and he stayed really as sort of a kingmaker in the Democrat Party, and then sort of has passed it down to Zohran Mamdani, who is now on a role. So he got a trio of socialist candidates elected and just completely clean the clocks of the establishment. And that's the Democrat Party today now. Well, Jeff, you know, what's interesting is that old adage that we have all come to know and love and appreciate, and that is socialism always works great until you run out of other people's money. Zohran Mamdani did. I mean, literally just months into his term as mayor, he was calling on Kathy Hochul to give more money from the state because New York is broke. All of this free, this, free that, and everything else. So why? That's what I don't understand. He is a failure as a socialist mayor, even less than a year in, but somehow he still has coattails. in these primaries where socialists just like him are advancing. Yeah, because never accept responsibility. It's always blamed someone else. I mean, blame the governor, blame the president, blame the system, blame America, never accept responsibility. And that's what he's good at. And, you know, he's still in his honeymoon period. He's still someone that New York favors, sadly. And now with these massive victories, I mean, he is one of the most important individuals within the party. And it just goes to show you how far the party has really drifted from the days of Bill Clinton when really it was sort of a moderate leader, a centrist party that won states like Louisiana. And boy, it has gone a long way since then, and now here we are. So this is going to be what they're going to try to go into the midterms with. And it gives the Republicans an opportunity. Because, I mean, this doesn't play in a lot of states across the country. It might do well in New York.

But, I mean, it's not going to be popular. Well, you know, if I made, Jeff, I'm a little worried about the fact that it is beyond just New York because I read something, because I was covering this yesterday, and I can't remember the source, but they said that the DSA membership has gone from a few thousand weirdo leftists to over 100,000 now. And if you look across the country, there have been socialist mayors, mayoral candidates, doing well, some of them winning, like Seattle, for example. The runoff is Karen Bass, and I can't. remember how to pronounce her name, but the socialist candidate out there for Los Angeles mayor. So it's, you know, over 100,000 DSA members. This thing is growing. Right. And I think you're right. Blue cities, cities like Seattle, Los Angeles, Chicago, obviously New York. I mean, they are going to have a lot of success. But to win back control of Congress, they're going to have to expand that into areas that Republicans have won previously. And I think that's where they're going to be into difficulty with more moderate independence, you know, people that are up for grabs in these midterm elections. And I just think it's going to be harder for them as a far left party as opposed to one that had maybe moved to the center. Unfortunately, they took the the 2024 election defeat as a message, wow, we need to get further to the left as opposed to, hey, no, we need to go to the middle. That was the message. They need to go to the middle. But they know, they say, we got to go further, further to the left and be more oppositional, more angry, more negative, more Trump derangement syndrome. And that to me is an opening for Republicans because, you know, historically in a midterm election, the party out of power wins. But if Republicans, you're 100% right. This is, I apologize, Jeff, we're a little short on time here. But as a great point you just made, so much of this is in response to Trump winning in 2024. And then two choices, meet Americans in the middle or sprint to the opposite wing of Trump. And that is out into Marxism and socialism and communism. Jeff Corre, thank you so much for the analysis. Economist Hank Lewis says graduates especially are not making enough and have debt, and it's created a vicious cycle of unattainability. You have to essentially already be in such good financial shape that you could probably afford a house. If you could, why would you rent an apartment? President Trump is also warning about what could happen to the economy if Democrats wind up winning the midterms in November. They voted against no tax on overtime, and if they got into office, you will have all of those taxes and all of that money that you're saving, including the big savings on Social Security. It's going to all be terminated. You're going to have to start paying it. Trump in Pennsylvania, but voters in New York just advanced not one, not two, but three socialists out of the primaries to the general election for Congress.

Democratic Socialist Mayor Zohran Mamdani campaigning heavily to elect his slate of far-left candidates. Democratic Socialist Claire Valdez and Darylisa Avila Chevalier and progressive Brad Lander. All three are for Medicare for All, abolishing ICE and accuse Israel of genocide. That is Brian Yannis reporting. Texas has its share of radical leftists, James Talarico, in a video that has gone viral from five years ago, claimed to be a Christian that, quote, hates Christianity. It's so weird. This guy is just so weird. And seeing that he's a Christian who hates Christianity, I think pretty much sums it up. Missouri Senator Josh Hawley there. More at 7 o'clock. It's now 633. Iran continues to play its games, telling the U.S. one thing and its own people, something completely different. Iranian officials played down Vice President JD Vance's announcement that they'd agreed to allow in nuclear inspectors, but the UN's nuclear watchdog says Iranian statements are just politics. This has been signed, has been agreed. This memorandum of understanding says explicitly the nuclear activities. will be supervised by the IEA. Rafael Grossi from the International Atomic Energy Agency. He won't confirm when inspections will start. The Iran-US deal calls for bombed enrichment sites to be examined. That is Jonathan Savage, reporting oil now down to $71.80 a barrel as gasoline prices drop down to $3.45 a gallon across Houston. They've dropped more than 50 cents over the last month, but you wouldn't know it by listening to the mainstream media. Texas Congressman Pat Fallon has proposed a bill to block the intel community from giving support to colleges that have ties to the CCP. Unfortunately, it might be too late. We have a number of universities with very troubling ties to the Chinese military and to the Chinese regime. Any educational institution in the United States with such ties should not be getting money from the federal government. China expert and author Gordon Chang says we need to start acknowledging the threat that China represents. Meantime, the crackdown continues on Texas teachers who get a little too cozy with their students. The issue of teacher misconduct continues to be a priority for state lawmakers. Senator Paul Bettencourt says that despite all the work the state has done, there are still hundreds of cases of teachers acting inappropriately. We probably have over 1,000 people on the do not hire registry and climbing. Next session, there will be a push to crack down on teachers sending private messages to students. That's because when it comes to educator misconduct, more than 1 in 10 cases this year involved in appropriate communication.

The criminal justice system... because of the left's overwhelming influence in it. They don't believe in prison. They don't believe in policing. They don't believe in, you know, in law and order, quite frankly. So whenever we see the system work, an actual appropriate, like the Carmelo Anthony case, 35 years, not even close to being enough for the cold-blooded murder of a 17-year-old. All right, Carmelo Anthony killing Austin Metcast. We'd see too much of that. So in this case, I just, I'm... relieved and i'm excited about this turn eight people who were found guilty

sentenced to, like I said, hundreds of years collectively in prison. They learned their punishments yesterday. The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Texas said on Monday that sentencing for the defendants would happen yesterday morning. Indeed, it did. The verdicts handed down as they were accused of the, in the July 4th, 2025, almost a year to the day, plot targeting the Prairland Ice Detention Center following weeks of testimony from investigators, and here's what they came up with. song, the longest prison sentence, 100 years behind bars. Outstanding. Maricella Rueda, 70 years in prison. Autumn Hill, 50 years in prison. Zachary Evitz, Savannah Batten, Megan Morris, and Elizabeth Soto. Anarchist, scumbags all 30-year. Oh, and one more. Daniel Rolando Sanchez Estrada, all 30 years in prison. Prosecutor said that they combined and collaborated to launch a premeditated terror attack on the detention facility, inspired by, yes, Antifa ideology. But listen to the SPLC, right? The Southern Poverty Law Center, otherwise known as socialist pushing leftist crap, that's what I call the SPLC. You should know that. You should adopt that. But the SPLC says that... White Christian men that they call extremists are the biggest threats to the country, biggest terrorist threats in the country. Yeah, no, I'm going to go with Antifa on this one. Antifa ideology. led them to this plot. They set off fireworks, vandalized property, shooting at cops who responded. One officer struck in the neck with a bullet survived. In March, a jury found nine Antifa members guilty of terror charges in an attack on an ICE detention center in Texas. And this is a big deal. So these sentences are appropriate. And so in that regard, baseball hasn't really backed down. So in other words, next year or whatever the next cause is that they choose to feature that might violate somebody else's very personally held beliefs, if they try to speak out and put something on their hats again, then they would be. So I don't know where it's going. I can tell you this. The Attorney General in the state of Florida is not moved by baseball. He is still planning on a full investigation and possibly bringing charges for discrimination against the players that decided to put those Bible verses on their caps. So it's not over yet at all. 6.52. We've got timeline coming up in about three minutes. I want to share this with you. Just kind of ties into the anti-American bent that we were, you know, anti-capitalism, anti-everything American, that the Democrat Party seems to have embraced with the socialist wins last night, socialists, you know, advancing all over the country that we've been talking about. Here's another example of it. It's kind of a combination of the socialism of people like Zohran Mamdani in New York City and their Islamism. Neither one of them are compatible with Western civilization. Neither one of them are what this country was founded upon and built to be. All right? So it's important that everybody note that. So this is a Zohran Mamdani endorsed a candidate who won her Democratic primary last night for a state Senate seat. Aber Kwasse, I don't know the rest of the name or if I'm saying that correctly. And quite frankly, given what you're about to hear, I don't care. What I do care is what she said in the fact that New Yorkers, New Yorkers. Did I mention it was New Yorkers? The ones who actually watched the towers fall from up close and personal? Yeah. They chose this Zohran Mamdani endorsed Muslim, who said that 9-11 was America's fault. Because racism and capitalism and stuff. And so, like, and finding that, like, you know, the system of capitalism and racism and white supremacy, et cetera, have all, and Islamophobia have all been used, you know, to colonized lands, right, to take resources from other people. And so this is, like, a long trajectory. And we're just seeing the manifestations of that continuation, right, with 9-11. And so. A lot of times when people are asking us to respond about, you know, attack, right? When, if you look back like historically, right, you know, a lot of us come from lands that were colonized, lands where wars are being waged, right? A lot of times because of U.S. policy or the policies in Europe. And so I find that we can connect over that, but then also that. The idea that we have to apologize for like a terror attack that like a couple people did. And then there is no apologies or reparations for genocide and for slavery, et cetera, is something that I kind of find like reprehensible. That thing just won an election.

Just won a Democrat primary for state Senate in New York. That thing that you just heard right there, blaming the United States for 9-11, blaming the United States for colonizing the world's land and people and so forth because of slavery, because of white supremacy, because of capitalism. She said all of those things and Islamophobia made, it manifested itself in 9-11. That's a member of the Democrat Party who just won an election in the Democrat primaries. On the deportation front, recent data from ICE shows that agents arrested more than 700 criminal illegal aliens in May right here in Houston, many of them with conviction for violent crimes and more that we don't even know about yet. Nicaragua, Honduras, Venezuela. Do we think that they are effectively policing those countries? Or is it possible that these people have committed violent crimes, even if they have not been charged in their home country? Chris Russo with Texans for Strong Borders says that many of these illegal aliens are affiliated with groups like Trendyaragua. Another win for Trump as a federal appeals court clears the way for the administration to resume nationwide use of expedited removal. And we'll begin this hour with a little bit more good news. Sort of kind of. Good morning. Bob France sitting in for Jimmy Amy Coney Barrett. Glad to be here on this Wednesday morning with you. 24th morning of the month of in the year of our Lord, 2026. Oil is flowing through the Strait of Hormuz. That's the good news. And when I say, eh, kind of sort of, because yeah, that means more oil is flowing in the international marketplace, which means the price of oil is going to go down, which means our gas prices are going to go down, and we have more money. But it also means Iran is making money because they're selling it. People are buying it, and that's not a good thing. Because what they do with their money is usually very, very bad. So that's our problem. But there is one inescapable truth amidst all the uncertainty about the MOU, the memorandum of misunderstanding. That's what I'm going to call it. And the control over the straight. The oil is flowing again. This is from the New York Times. Yeah, I know. It's the New York Times. But this part is pretty much non-debated. From Saturday through Monday, 109 vessels passed through the strait, the largest three-day number since the war started in late February, according to Kepler, a global maritime data firm. Traffic is a fraction, though, of the more than 130 the transited the strait every day before the start of the war. A backlog of 500 to 600 ships remained, according to the International Maritime Organization. The overall picture of shipping conditions in the region's waters is incomplete. But ships have transited the strait with their transponders off. making many of them difficult to track. This account of the current situation in the Persian Gulf is based on interviews with industry executives and analysts, not politicians. This is important. And an examination of the ship tracking data, Iran is very and is well and truly back in business. They say. A major source of increased traffic came from Iran-linked ships carrying crude oil to Asia via the straits' northern route near Larrick Island. At least 12 tankers with Iranian crude are moving toward Asia, according to an analysis by S&P Global Commodities at Sea, which provide data on trade flows. They are well and truly back in business. Michelle Bari Weiss Bachman, maritime intelligence analyst, said of Iran, aside from the Iranian vessels, Ships owned by companies based in China, shocker, Pakistan and India were also observed taking the northern route. That flow of oil and the money Iran earns from it is likely to pick up after the Trump administration said Monday that it had indeed temporarily lifted oil sanctions on Iran for years. Iran has been forced to sell at a discount. So you understand my meaning when I say, yay, we got good news, but kind of sort of.

The fact that the straight is open is going to impact global oil prices. That means it's going to impact your pocketbook. What you pay for gas, what we pay at stores and so forth that are impacted by the cost of diesel and shipping and so forth. So that's good if our prices drop. But the fact that the war or the country that we went to war with gets to profit now to the tune of billions and billions of dollars in oil sales makes me wonder what on earth this is all for. especially if they can use those funds to continue to attack interests of the United States. All right, thank you, Cliff. So here's some news and this is not such good news. This is, again, the fight is constantly with the judiciary. And I'm sorry to say this. You know, one third of our government are three branches. system of government, you know, the executives are voted for by the people, the legislative voted for by the people, the judges, particularly the federal judges, not subject to any answers or to any questions, I should say, or to the will of the people. They don't get elected, they get lifetime appointments, and that's it, and they can do things like this. This is the biggest battle that I think we have. Too many radical left-wing judges were appointed during Biden, a lot during Obama. And some were hits and some were misses from the Trump administration as well. But here we are. A California-based U.S. district judge named Casey Pitts, who was appointed by, yes, Skeletor and his auto pen, Joe Biden. issued a nationwide block on ISIS policy of arresting illegal aliens at courthouses. This just happened yesterday. The Supreme Court previously ruled that federal district courts lacked the statutory authority to issue nationwide injunctions. But yet here we are. This is a nationwide injunction. Judge Pitt says he's able to issue a nationwide injunction in this case because the plaintiffs satisfied the requirements for class certification. In January of 2025, President Trump signed an EO, an executive order, called Protecting the American People Against Invasion. That's, of course, what we have faced.

Quote, it is the policy, said President Trump, in the exact executive order. It is the policy of the United States to faithfully execute the immigration laws against all inadmissible and removable aliens, particularly those aliens who threaten the safety or security of the American people. Further, it is the policy of the United States to achieve the total and efficient enforcement of those laws, including through lawful incentives and detention capabilities. End quote. Judge Pitts vacated that policy targeting illegal aliens at courthouses. As if the entire election never happened, he can substitute his judgment for that of the chief executive. President Trump won the right to make this call by the votes of the American people. This judge said, nope, my viewpoint is the only one that matters. He wrote in a 70-page opinion, quote, for 80 years, Congress has commanded federal agencies to think before they act. That instruction codified in the Administrative Procedures Act does not require an agency to make the choice that a reviewing court might deem preferable. Because the record before the court demonstrates that ICE or EOIR failed to provide reasoned explanation for their actions, the court concludes that each of the challenged policies is arbitrary and capricious in contravention of the APA, end of quote. This is the second time that Judge Pitts has blocked the Trump administration from making arrests at immigration courthouses. Earlier this year, Judge Pitts blocked ICE from doing this in the Northern District of California. But now it's nationwide. I'm in charge. My black robe doesn't look nice on me, gives me powers that the president doesn't have. This judiciary is broken. And I know that sometimes we'll celebrate good decisions, but overall, look at Judge Bosberg, look at Judge Sparkle, you know, who said basically that the federal government does not have the right to double-check people's immigration status in order by going over state voter rolls to protect and preserve the franchise for only American citizens. Foreign. individuals living in this country should not be harassed. Essentially is what Judge Sparkle had to say. She's a Trinidad and Tobago, Trinidad and Tobago. Yeah, Tobago, foreign-born immigrant to the United States. who is of course a citizen, but she shares dual citizenship with another country. These judges don't necessarily have the United States best interest in mind. They have agendas, and sometimes those agendas are in contravention of Americans' best interest. And this is an example of it. What a great place for ICE to find illegal aliens who commit crimes other than courthouses. And now this judge says, not anymore. This will obviously be appealed to go up to the Supreme Court and we'll have another decision coming in the future. Right now, 726, so it's time for a Bloomberg business report. For instance, gasoline prices are down more than 50 cents over the last month in Houston this morning at 3.45 a gallon. That said, new data shows one and three Americans under 35 still live with mom and dad. Economist Hank Lewis says housing costs started going up under Joe Biden. Large corporations buying a property also has been a big issue. But this may be a case where government regulation is necessary to stop large, deep-pocketed corporations from buying up all the housing. They need to have that housing back on the market and released so that way supply shifts to the right. Prices go down and the prices become fairer in the market. Congress just passed a bill earlier this week. That's headed to the president's desk this afternoon. Overnight trading is up across the board, and oil futures are down to $70.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio says Tehran needs to be very careful here. We know what they agreed to. I don't know why they have to say the things they say, whatever their internal or domestic politics is, I guess they'll navigate it. But we know what they agreed to do, and now they'll either do it or they won't. And if they do, the process moves forward and if they don't, the president will have some decisions to make. Marco Rubio in the UAE. As for another adversary, Texas Congressman Pat Phelan has filed a bill to block the intel community from supporting schools tied to the Chinese Communist Party. The fact that this was even necessary is being called out as a problem in and of itself. The United States doesn't have a sufficient perception of threat from China, just as we didn't perceive al-Qaeda to be a real threat before 9-11. China expert and author Gordon Chang says this issue needs to be addressed from the top down quickly. not had a president since Eisenhower, who was willing to call China an enemy. We have to recognize the danger. Unfortunately, we're not. Chang says if passed, Fallon's bill would be a good first step, but there's still a lot more we need to do. It's hard for me to imagine this guy's going to get... a ton of traction in texas but that's that's where the democrat party is now well what you what you what he said is one thing congressman gill it's what you said that adds to it i'm looking at your tweet right now this guy hates christianity meat guns oil thinks white people are inherently racist the bible justifies abortion and that god is non-binary what a great great way to run for the senate in the state of texas right It really is. It's incredible. It's like this guy picked the most unpopular positions you could possibly find and put them all together. But I think this shows how Adam touched the entire Democrat Party is, though. Because, you know, they always talk about Texas as a major seat that they want to flip Texas blue. They want to take a Senate seat in Texas. So a bunch of Democrat consultants sat together and decided, let's figure out the person that we think is going to resonate with Texans. And this is the guy that they found. This is the guy that they think is sort of in line with Texas values. The guy who goes on, you know, talks extensively about how white people carry the virus of racism that's contagious. I mean, just, I mean, this dude's a total weirdo.

But, you know, so ultimately I don't think this guy's going to go anywhere. But, you know, it's probably going to be the Democrat Party spending a lot of money in Texas once again that they lied on fire. Well, God willing, that is the case. We're talking with Congressman Brandon Gale, Ohio's 26th, or excuse me, Texas 26th, I'm thinking about Jim Jordan for a minute. Texas 26th congressional representative, the Democrat Party reflecting people like James Talarico. You look at Graham Platner, you have spoken about him as well. And just last night, three more socialists in New York won their Democrat primaries. Why has that party, in your opinion, started to embrace people like this? Socialists and radicals like this. they lost in 2024 congressmen and instead of saying we better meet america in the middle they went running off to the far left they went running and sprinting toward marxism yeah they did and i i think there's a few things going on here one is that's where uh that's just ideologically where the party is the democrat party now is the party of Zohran Mamdani and they can uh you know in other parts of the country like texas they can try to run away from that but that is simply where their party is at You know, I think that there's a second factor here, which is, you know, there is an anti-Semitism factor, especially in these New York races that was palpable and definitely moved the needle. I mean, you saw multiple races that were focused, even races that were not, you know, like a state Senate race in New York that was focused on Palestine. I mean, that's crazy. But that's where that's where the focus of the party is in certain areas. You know, there's also just a reality, especially in New York City, that after decades of mass migration, where you have people foreigners coming in from all over the world and not assimilating, New York City looks like basically a post-American city. It's no longer, it's very hard to look at New York City now and say this is an American city. This is a city where the foreign-born population is near 40%. Again, very little assimilation happening. So, you know, mass migration changes our country. It does. And in this case, definitely changed it for the worst. No question about it. Congressman, I know your time is short here and so is ours. But just give me your, you know, take the temperature of the country right now. We're five months away from the midterms less than, really. Where do you think we are? With all of that radicalism infecting the Democrat Party, are the American people going to give power back to the Democrats in the Congress? You know, I'm feeling pretty optimistic about our chances of keeping the House. You know, history says that Republicans are going to lose the House because we've got control both sides of the legislature and the White House. But I think that the American people can see where the Democrats are at and where we're at. It really is sanity versus insanity right now. And I think that so many of the things that the left is pushing, whether it's, you know, transgender three-year-olds. or defunding the police or just straight up socialism is way at a step with where the rest of the country is. Most people want secure borders, they want law and order, they want sanity socially, and that's what the Republican Party supports.

Congressman Brandon Gill, we support you. I can tell you that right now, whether it's in your district all across Texas and quite frankly all across the country. Keep speaking truth.
