This is an I-Heart podcast. Guaranteed Human. Our little podcast is the podcast that could, the little engine that could. You know, when we started, it was just a simple rebroadcast of our show, and they would take it over and put it on this new podcast platform. I didn't think anything of it. Before long, we started hearing from people all over the country where we don't air on the radio in the town where they are. And I would say, well, how are you hearing us? Did you find us online? And they say, no, I was on a podcast. Or, as happens for more than anything else, somebody sent me an email, say, hey, check out this podcast. He's from Houston, talks a lot about Texas, but talks about national stuff, and I think you'll like him. And that's how our little podcast grew to be one of the top in the country. It's pretty cool. And so we have show sponsors on the radio. We have show sponsors on the podcast. One of them's a good buddy of mine. His name is Ray Breyer's. And he owns the Pipeyard Inc. And what he does on his cell phone is people call and go, hey, I got a 118 mile pipeline going through Louisiana into Mississippi. And he says, all right, let me go check it out. He goes out. He rips that pipe out of the ground all the way. And he goes off and sells that to somebody else who needs the pipe. It's a beautiful process. And people call him all from our show, from our podcast, all over the country. Thepipeyard, inc.com. 409-788 pipe. 409-78 pipe. Talk to Ray, the pipe ma'amma, good buddy. Did you know that most insurance companies will pay for a man to have testosterone replacement if he's below 350? Isn't that interesting? You've probably heard that testosterone will, well, invigorate you. Your wife may enjoy that, or she may want to be left alone, but your wife may enjoy that. You may enjoy that. But there's so much more. Let me tell you. More energy, more strength, you feel better. Synergenics. Go get your blood tested. You paid your insurance premiums, hoping that you would never get fire, smoke, damage, water damage, hail damage, hell, we have so many. storms and hurricanes come through here. And the national carrier now doesn't want you, doesn't want to pay you. Chad T. Wilson law firm fights so that you do. He is the lawyer that will fight to get you covered. Go to claimdenied.com or email me and I'll connect you. Claimdenied.com. Tonight is opening night for the Houston Rockets and they will. field the tallest lineup, starting lineup in NBA history, with four starters at 611 and a fifth at 6.7, making the average height of the lineup 6.2 inches. That is amazing. I mean, that is really amazing. Yeah. Process that for a moment. With the same energy as George P. Bush's border wall ad, remember Zoom Zoom on the four-wheeler? A group called the Lone Star Freedom Project is running a new Pro-Cornan ad featuring him dressed up on the border. It came up as a YouTube ad. Here we go. John Wayne McCornan. Now, John Wayne McCornan was, for all intents and purposes, open borders. John Wayne McCornan last year said,

3:31

that it was past Donald Trump's time. It was time to tell him he was finished and the party needed to move on from Donald Trump. He should not be the nominee. Now that he has... Well, John Cornyn's his right-hand man, he'd have you believe. And by God, he's for fighting the border. A little quiet down here these days. That's because Donald Trump and John Cornyn have been fighting side by side to seal the border. Putting America first, keeping Texans safe. Cornans led the charge in the Senate to fund border security, beating back Biden's invasion, and crushing the cartels. Voting 99% with Trump to deliver for Texas. Call and thank John Cornyn and tell him to keep delivering Trump's agenda. You know what happens when you call that number, right? They harvest your number. So that's as cynical as anything else they do. Call and tell John Cornyn he's doing a great job. Here's the number. We just, we just, we, we don't really know John Cornyn. We just watch from a distance. We notice he's doing a great job. And we want him to know we're out here and we care for him. And here's the phone number if you'd like to tell him to. Let's, let's make sure he understands that we're all out here for him and that we got his back. Big John, we like to call him Big John sometimes. Big John, we got your back. And here's the phone number. And you just call him and say, Big John, you'd stay in that fight. I know there are forces arrayed against you, but down here in Texas, you know, we know you're up there fighting for us. Big John, you just keep up the fight, big fella. And then, of course, they've got your number. And they spam you incessantly. And, and this is one of the charming things political operations do, is that they, they then sell your number. They sell your number again and again and again. And so now, if for some stupid reason, you were supporting John Cornyn and you were naive enough to think, well, does John Cornyn not know how much we appreciate him? Is John Cornyn? Is he worried that we're not behind him? You just call Big John. Let him know, Big John. Your efforts are not in vain. I'm down here in Splendora. You're up there in D.C., but we're working for the same thing, Big John. We just want you to know to stay strong. Your efforts are not overlooked.

6:33

I go to bed at night with the comfort that Big John is working for me, and I get up in the morning. I slap my aquavela on my freshly shaved cheeks, and I say Big John is up our working for me. And that's how I know. That's how I know America can be saved. He's right up there arm in arm with Donald Trump. Sometimes if the hair hits Donald Trump's... If the wind hits Donald Trump's hair just wrong, he pulls out a comb and he says, Mr. President, may I have the honor? And he cones it over. Yes, indeed. Sometimes Donald Trump had to duck a bullet. And his tie will be askew, and Big John will say, Mr. President, may I? And he'll stand right in front of him face to face because he's got freshly breath. And he'll straighten that tie for the president. He'll step back. The president will say, thank you, John. And he'll say, don't mention it, Mr. President. I'm here for you. I'm here to help wherever I can, whenever I can. That's Big John. If you appreciate Big John. Give him a call and tell him so. So we'll have your phone number forever, and you'll never not be spammed, and you will have signed up for it to be not the least, not the most suckerish thing you've ever done, but it'll be up there. I was reading that Mexico has begun mass deportations. after realizing they can't absorb the cost of immigrants after the U.S. border has been shut down. And what was happening, as you know, was that you had a number of folks who were traveling from south of Mexico through Mexico into the United States. And several human rights organizations who had been monitoring the situation were saying that the abuse of the migrants as they came through Mexico was the worst of anywhere on the trail. Mexico had created an entire industry of people who would basically ambush anyone who was coming through, rape them, steal their money. and then hijacked the family to pay more to go through. So it had become something of a landmine, you know, the obstacle course to get to the United States. Well, now that those people came to the United States, many of them came to the United States and were deported. Some of them self-deported, and I guess figured they'd just hike back home. And they stopped on the way in Mexico. because Mexico is still in better shape than some of the country south of it. And Mexico has realized, wait a minute, that's America's problem. We dump our people on them and they figure out how to handle it. We don't, and then we tell them, it's your duty, you know, their fellow children of God. You know, nobody's illegal because Mexico was sending more than anybody else.

9:46

Well, now that those people have ended up staying in Mexico and laying around and stealing stuff, petty theft, some violence, draining your resources, you get the point. Now, Mexico has begun a mass deportation of them. I don't know where they're going to send them. But it turns out nobody wants that problem. It's just time that we finally figured out that we're not the dumping ground for the world. Harris County Democrat Judge Nata Cornelio has been formally reprimanded by the Texas State Commission on Judicial Conduct after she illegally arranged a secret medical procedure for a death row inmate who was taken to the medical center, unshackled, do you remember this case, and allowed to be in a waiting room around the general public, none of whom were advised who was in there. Cornelio is a hand-picked Rodney Ellis Stoge And to put that into perspective, she previously served as his director of legal affairs. Yeah, the county commissioner had a director of legal affairs. And once she proved herself a worthy stooge, that means she'll do whatever he tells her to do, well, then he had her placed in a position as a judge. And that's when she decided, oh, this guy on death row, I'll just, I'll order the D.B. placed in the medical center to get some treatment. By the way, I don't know why we're giving treatment to do it on death row. Let's make sure we fix him up real quick. Before we kill him? The story from Fox 26 from October of last year, so you'll remember the story that is the reason she has now been reprimanded. In its motion to recuse, Judge Nata Cornelio, in the case of death throw inmate Ronald Haskell, prosecutors claim she didn't want anyone, not even the state, to know what she was doing. In 2014, Haskell killed his ex-sister-in-law, her husband, and four children. The entire family wiped out. I mean, methodically, he's putting people down one by one by one. And by some sort of miracle, a 15-year-old girl managed to survive. And she was the one who alerted the DA's office. after victim services told her Haskell had been moved from the Polonski unit in Huntsville to the Harris County Jail on a bench warrant signed by Judge Cornelio. Purportedly for a court setting to occur on July 22nd at midnight. Did that ever happen? Was there a court hearing? There was never any court setting in this case during the three weeks that Ronald Haskell was in the Harris County jail. What Judge Cornelio wanted, according to court filings, was to get Haskell an MRI. Cornelio, who opposes the death penalty, apparently told the DA's office years ago before becoming a judge, she thought Haskell was, quote, sick. These are pictures of Haskell unshackled, surrounded by other patients in a waiting room at a Texas medical center MRI. facility. Nobody around him knew that there's a death row inmate right next to him. Look, I agree with you. I think it is galling to look at those photographs of Ron Haskell being paraded through a private MRI facility. Anytime a death row inmate is brought back to Harris County, all parties.

13:13

are told. According to court filings, the only people who knew Haskell was in the Harris County jail for three weeks was Judge Cornelio and Haskell's appellate attorney. Even his attorney told him not to say anything. No one was supposed to know that he was here. In a tape conversation with his mother, even Haskell questioned why all the cloak and dagger that he understood. that this whole thing was supposed to be a secret. The state was not supposed to know. And he, in fact, was concerned for his own safety because apparently this was so cloak and dagger, he almost got put in general... He'll just go ahead and say it. Sorry. The Michael Bari Weiss Show. Well, after the weekend and a lot of ink spilled and time filled, it turns out, We still don't have a king. Where to go, lefties? You know, you got to wonder how sad your life is. If you're standing there holding your sign. No kings. No kings. And by now you've seen or heard all the interviews where someone goes up and puts a mic in their face. Who's the king? We don't want kings. Who's the king? Well, Trump. What's Trump done wrong? I don't know. But he's not liked around here. I'll tell you that. Is that right? Okay. So just so I understand. You went to Chavez Ravine and asked the Dodgers fans if they think the Astros deserved the World Series, and they said no. And so now in your mind, the Astros are very unpopular, the world over, because Dodgers fans don't, don't, that's what, yeah, okay, yeah, that makes sense. But do you ever stop for a moment and think about? What are those people doing today? What does their life look like? Some of them have maybe a telemarketing job that they hate. None of them are meaningfully engaged in anything of any real intrinsic value to them, much less to society. None of them is feeling good about themselves. They're all behind on their rent. They're all a disappointment to everyone around them. Their relationships are in shambles. These are the kind of people who try really dangerous drugs because why not? These are the people who get sucked into cults because why not? I got nothing else going on. These are the people who've never figured anything out. There is nothing stable, secure, noteworthy in any aspect of their lives. No rock to be anchored to. They have failed at every aspect of life and just sort of washed around or blown around like a feather in the wind. And you think to yourself, you don't just end up.

16:53

marching in a circle with a sign that says no kings, you don't just end up there. There had to be a moment before you arrived there. Phone calls had to be made, websites had to be visited, names had to be registered, details had to be arranged, where you're going to be, what you're going to wear, who you're going to report to. You ever think about that? Because that guy today, is going, hey, there any more protests? Hey, hey, Maria, I'm calling me. You are my protest, captain. Are there any more protests? We'll have some, you've called me seven times since Sunday. You got paid, right? Yeah, cash, cash, gosh, I've already used it. Okay, well, I'll tell you what, don't call me, I'll call you. Okay, because I enjoyed that protest. Uh-huh, uh-huh, yeah, I enjoyed it, uh-huh. That person ended up there by design. That was the best option they had because they're all getting paid. That was the best option that person had. They had no alternative way to spend their day or make a buck than that. Where are you in your life? What are you doing in your life that you respond to that ad? You ever think about what does that ad sound like? That person was moved by an ad that said, stand around in the street. And they said, yeah, that's me. Sitting at home with low ambition, watching the view on demand, and bitching you're broke, well, do we have the opportunity of your lifetime. We're looking for lazy individuals with no opinions of their own to join the no king's rally cause. Need to dress nicely? Absolutely discouraged. Drive to an office? No way! Who even needs a car? Simply send us your address or current location and we'll pick you up in our luxury non-labeled retired school bus and drop you off at an undisclosed predetermined location. Think you're not qualified? Oh, think again if possible. Because if you act now, you'll qualify for our platinum protest package. Complete with a t-shirt, handcrafted sign, and a brochure with chance that have no meaning but they rhyme every time. Sign up today so you don't miss our one time only no king's rally in the alley chant practice this Friday. The no king's rally crew, where no life skills finally pays the bills. That person went to all that trouble. You know, when you see signs tacked to telephone poles, now hiring $8 an hour. And he go, who does that? Who does that? $99 move-in special. Who? Where? What? There is a whole sub-economy of people. And by the way, if you look at the demographics, their illegal aliens have been stripped away. That's...

20:22

That's who they used to put in charge of these, right? Or that's who they used to, those were the foot soldiers. But they've been removed, and those that are still here are not about to go to a no king's rally. They'll get, they'll get scooped up and sent away. So now they've had to go to the second tier, little harder to reach. Maybe a concert. You know, there's probably certain bands that are perfect, perfect, fishing ponds for the types of people that would come to a no kings rally and you go there and you go hey we get you tickets to a concert and 20 bucks you come stand out in the road all day and repeat no kings we'll give you water and pizza at the end of the day they are they are rounding up the least of the least But what's interesting is you're used to see in the least of the least of the illegal aliens. You're used to see in the least of the least at a BLM rally. But here, you're getting the least of the least of white people. You don't see that very often. They're kind of tucked away. They don't normally gather. Oh, you might see them at a festival. If you have a free festival... And you were to go out and you were to see the people on the side of the hill, you get the young, this type, and then the old hippies. You know, they're still, they're looking like what Peter Paul and Mary would look like if they were still around. Or Mama's and the Papa's crowd. You know, people that went to Mamas and the Pappas when they were 19 years old. But to see this demographic, you don't get to see this demographic very often. Take a good look. It's not pretty. I'm not saying it's pretty, mind you. But these are the people, I mean, even Antifa do what they do out of a sense of some, you know, philosophy. It's just a job to these poor bastards. Jim and I were talking about Randy Meisner putting the band, according to the documentary, supposedly because he didn't want to sing this song every night.

22:47

Okay. You know, the glamour and glory of being a band on tour, I know fans are never going to feel sorry for them because in a fan's mind, the greatest thing you can do is be in a band and make it big, right? You're rich. You get all the girls. Fans adore you. But... Almost to a person, there is an occasion where one of them will make a statement that they don't want to sing the same songs every night because you just kind of become a little robotic about it. And when you're the Eagles, and, you know, over 50 years later, you're still playing those same songs because people still want to hear them. There is a limitless audience. I've been to see them twice at the sphere, and it was sold out both times. And, you know, took my wife and kids the last time a month or so ago, six weeks, I don't know, however long, within the last couple of months. And my kids knew their songs, just from hearing them in the backseat growing up. But that set list is pretty consistent. Because if they go, hey, we're going to do this Marshall Tucker Carlson band song that we always really liked. It influenced us a lot. And here's a little Clarence Gate Mouth Brown. You might not know him. Let me tell you a little place in Orange, Texas he's from. And he was a legend, man. Clarence Gatemouth Brown was it. And he really influenced our music a lot. We'd like to do a tune that he did that really inspired us a lot. They'd get booed. That same group that just loved you, do anything for you, don't play the song they want to hear. Don't dance, monkey, the way they told you to. So there's Randy Meisner that walks out because I can't stand to sing this song. every night, then you can't stand to be in the Eagles. Yeah, that'd be how that works. Imagine that. What a conundrum. 99.999% of bands when they start would dream of having one hit and never do. You got all these hits that, and by the way, you got your one hit wonders. Dexie's Midnight Riders. You got one hit. And you're thinking, man, if we could just find some way to bottle that one more time, maybe stringed together two, do another album, maybe one of them hits. But you cannot do it. And especially with art, it's lightning in a bottle. And somehow the Eagles found it. And it lasts all those years. And he says, enough. I'm tired of the damn song. Well, then what do you do? Because you don't really, you know, you almost feel bad. And we shouldn't. We shouldn't because we don't understand their lives. But you feel bad when a guy leaves a big band to go off on their own and doesn't make it. And you got to imagine what's going through that guy's mind.

26:32

Oh, you loved me over there. I'm the same guy I was over there. I'm the same guy that wrote that same thing and sang that same thing. And, you know, fan mail, it would fill up a room. And now I move over here and you don't have any, but people are fickle. We are. As fans, we are fickle. In the same way, we're fickle toward cars and then... You know, a certain style changes, and that car that was great is not so great anymore. And nobody wants to touch it. It's the Pontiac Fierro. Jim, you remember the Pontiac Fierro? Oh, that was the car for a minute there. That was the deal. But there's Randy Meisner walking away from the Eagles. I mean, that's, I guess in some ways, it's kind of bold. Right? Because you have to know you're not going to go anywhere to make that kind of money ever again. You have to know. The Eagles are so popular that they get paid a fortune to play the sphere where you pay all this money to hear Vince Gill sing Eagle songs next to Glenn Fry's son. I mean, fathom that. In that sense, it's a tribute band. Of course, you still have Joe Walsh. And I got to tell you, Joe Walsh has lost a step. There's no way Joe Walsh should be alive, considering the life he led, but he made a major decision early enough in life that he was able to write the ship. But that guy's getting up there playing his heart out. And he is still... I mean contorting his face and bending and everything. He is still giving it everything he's got every night. And I got to admire that. And then there's Don Henley, who has awful politics and is by all accounts an awful human being. He's filed suit against half of America because he thinks everybody's ripping off the Eagles. Even when, you know, there are cases where I can see it. But then there's cases where I'm, I don't, I mean, I'm not a musician granted, but I can't imagine a jury would think that that's ripping you off. But he just keeps losing these case after case after case after case. He seems to be a bitter old man. But I would still pay big money to hear him up there singing those same old songs. And by the way, not just the Eagle songs. His solo stuff as well, his duets as well, is just that good. It's an amazing moment in history we're in because we're going to lose the Eagles. We're going to lose the bands of that era very soon. It's amazing they've held on into their 70s and in 80s sometimes. And we're fast going to – I mean, I can't imagine we're going to want to see the bare-necked ladies at 70. I can't imagine we're going to want to see Lady Gaga at 70. Or, I don't know who else. I mean, I'm just moving into the 90s. Imagine the 2000s and 2010s. I can't imagine we're going to want to see any of that stuff 20 years after it's gone. That stuff from the 70s and some of the 80s. I really don't think. I think the stuff of the 70s was so good, so timeless that it lasted this long, and I don't think we'll see that again.

30:10

I hope you enjoy our podcast as much as we enjoy making it. You can always email me through the website, Michaelberryshow.com. I do love to hear from you, and I do respond to you. Tell me where you're emailing from. It's fun. Our podcast listeners are from all over. And wherever you are all over, there's a decent chance that you have or know someone who has a steel pipe that can be sold to my friend Ray Breyer's. at the pipeyard inc.com. They dispatched trucks across the country to haul one load or 300 loads of pipe. I had one listener in Georgia. His company had an abandoned pipe, an abandoned line running all the way from Louisiana. through the Southeast Conference of Football, Basketball, and Ray Breyer's, the Pipeyard Inc. was able to pull all that pipe out, pay them for that pipe, and then sell it to another user. Thepipyard Inc.com. 409788 pipe. Did you know that most insurance companies will pay for a man to have testosterone replacement if he's below 350? Isn't that interesting?
