86 segmentsThis is an I-Heart podcast. Guaranteed Human. Our little podcast is the podcast that could, the little engine that could. You know, when we started, it was just a simple rebroadcast of our show, and they would take it over and put it on this new podcast platform. I didn't think anything of it. Before long, we started hearing from people all over the country where we don't air on the radio in the town where they are. And I would say, well, how are you hearing us? Did you find us online? And they say, no, I was on a podcast. Or, as happens for more than anything else, somebody sent me an email, say, hey, check out this podcast. He's from Houston, talks a lot about Texas, but talks about national stuff, and I think you'll like him. And that's how our little podcast grew to be one of the top in the country. It's pretty cool. And so we have show sponsors on the radio. We have show sponsors on the podcast. One of them's a good buddy of mine. His name is Ray Breyer's. And he owns the Pipeyard Inc. And what he does on his cell phone is people call and go, hey, I got a 118 mile pipeline going through Louisiana into Mississippi. And he says, all right, let me go check it out. He goes out. He rips that pipe out of the ground all the way. And he goes off and sells that to somebody else who needs the pipe. It's a beautiful process. And people call him all from our show, from our podcast, all over the country. Thepipeyard, inc.com. 409-788 pipe. 409-88 pipe. Talk to Ray, the pipe, ma'am, a good buddy. I'm on testosterone, and I encourage everybody else to be on testosterone. If you're below 350 on your testosterone level... Very good chance your insurance will pay for you to have it. You know why? There's a lot of studies that say it's very good for you, not just your sex life, but your energy, your strength, all sorts of good things. Do your own research. Don't trust me, but you should do your research, and you should get your blood panels checked, and they'll do all that for you at synergenics. Go to fixmylowt.com. Fix my lowtie.com. There comes a point where you don't want to go to the gym. You don't want to drive there, park, go in, be around a bunch of folks that are dropping weights and talking and waiting. You want your fitness to come to you, to your living room, to your garage. You don't even need a weight set. They'll bring bands. Whether you're trying to recover from a stroke, a heart attack, you just want to get up out of the wheelchair. Petru in-home fitness. It's a breath of fresh air coming to your home every day. The older you are, hey, that's not a problem. Folks do it well into their 90s. Petru in-home fitness. It's that time. Lock and load. The Michael Vary Show is on the air. Hello, darkness, my old friend. I've come to talk with you again. Woe unto them that call evil good and good evil That put darkness for light and light for darkness That put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter
Federal Government is raining down upon our communities. Two to three thousand armed agents of the federal government have been deployed to Minnesota. Armed, masked, under-trained ICE agents are going door to door, ordering people to point out where their neighbors of color live. To ICE? Get the out of Minneapolis. Your stated reason for being in this city is to create some kind of safety, and you are doing exactly the opposite. I think it's time we stop. Children, what's that sound? Everybody look what's going down? Well, I've never been for ICE going into our cities, period. It doesn't belong there. And the mayors and county executives and others throughout the country believe they can handle it. Much better themselves than having people from the outside come in. If they are saying that he has 10 years on service and is trained, he should know that you shouldn't be trying to get in front of a moving car. Bam, we're stopped. Hey, what's that sound? Everybody look, what's going down? First, just want to make clear that the news coming out of Minneapolis is horrific. This is... One part of what has been a year full of cruelty. And we know that when ICE agents attack immigrants, they attack every single one of us across this country. Donald Trump's mass deportation system makes me think of what a modern day slave patrol would look like. Slave patrols were armed groups empowered by the government to control, intimidate, and terrorize people solely based on color. It's time we stop. Hey, what's that sound? Everybody look what's cool. Let know that law enforcement professionals will not the fate made up ice probably trumps a new army to attack citizens of the United States. Did you hear what I said? No law enforcement professional wears a mask. None. None. I join our mayor and our senator in asking them to get the heck out of our city. We better stop. Hey, what's that sound? Everybody look, what's going, never stop. Hey, what's that sound? Everybody look, what's going, we better stop now. What's that sound? Everybody look, what's going, we better stop. There is a phenomenon related to these weather conditions. My people are not built for cold weather. My people are built for hot weather. You folks, y'all might complain about it, but y'all can live through some heat. And I don't mean high desert heat. People in Arizona love to tell you that it's 10 degrees warmer out there. Yeah, but it's not 97% humidity. This heat and this humidity. But my people can survive and thrive. Oh, sure. When the, when the fellas get out of the truck, the back, that little small of the back where the tramp stamp goes for the girls, that is just sopping wet and stuck to them. They don't care. They can handle it. If people don't have air conditioning, they can handle it. But don't you let it get cold. We are not ready for the cold.
And it's going to be cold this weekend. There's two types of people. There are the constant weather monitors. They're the ones that for over a week, oh, we'll freeze next weekend. And they'll never admit it, but they're secretly very excited. Because if you are a constant weather monitor, you don't, nobody pays attention to you. You just kind of know, you're going to be 68 on this day in 64 and 71 and 61. Nobody cares. But they're kind of sitting, yeah, y'all will pay attention now. Y'all will pay attention. And stuff I pay attention. It's going to be big. There's that crowd. And they've been getting ready. Who, boy, they've been getting ready. I sent Emily to Ace Hardware to pick up our freeze misers yesterday. So she called the owner of the Long Point store. And he said, is it possible you could come tomorrow? Why? Because we're probably going to sell out here any minute. She said, of course. We don't need it until, what, Sunday? So she's, I guess, going today to get it. But I got a message from the Friesmeiser folks in Kingsbury that they have never moved Friesmizers like this. And I got a message from the Ace Hardware folks that all of them are saying they are selling the heck out of them. And people didn't know these things exist. Ramon's had them for years. I couldn't believe it. So it's going to be cold this weekend. Get your scarfs out, Ramon. By the way, what did the scarf say to the hat? I'm going to hang around here. You go on ahead. Panic buying for what is expected to be at most a two-day storm. H-E-Bs in San Antonio and North Texas are seeing bare shells. People, I get out of it. I got to keep it all to myself. People once again lose their mind, although not in Houston yet. I expect that to start. I expect that to be Friday. I think tomorrow's the day people start panicking. And Saturday, because they're off, it's going to be a madhouse. There will be the man on the street video. There'll be, you know, the TV stations. Hi, thank you from the anchors chair. Thank you, Anchors Chair. We're out here at H.E.B. Where people are very panicked and they ask somebody. And you know the kind of person they always ask. And they know what they're doing. I'm just going to get what I can. I'm going to try. I'm scared. You know, it's cold. I don't know no cold. Please more of that. Comedian Henry Cho put it best. I love it here, man. I love being back in the South. I love the wintertime in the South. It cracks me up, man, because we still freak out. They close school here if they predict snow.
If you think it's going to snow, you run to the store and load up. Because Lord knows, you may be snowed in for at least a day. Next day it melts, you got 14 loads of bread, man. Man, what am I going to do with all this bread? Oh. The mindset when people think they're about to be snowed in is fascinating to watch. Absolutely fascinating to watch what they imagine it's going to look like because they don't live in the cold. So there's this idea that, you know, I've got to get a Dostoevsky novel, some vodka, and maybe some summer sausage, because I'm going to be in for the winter. Nobody will see me for four months. It's at most a few hours. Calm down. You got to love our people at home. But I tell you what, all those people up north making fun of them, they could not survive this heat. So I give you credit on that. Sorry, the Michael Bari Weiss Show.
It's very difficult for me to wake up at 8 o'clock pneumonia and listen at Micah Bear's show when I'd much rather be either sitting on a commode, breaking me some eggs or burling me some hamburgers or something for these children, pulling out cereal. That's what normally I'd be during. The ones that miss the bus, I got a fixed-day cereal, and I sit here and listening to Michael Bear's show. Oh, he rollic here and he roll like that. He's talking about this, that, and the other, and some of it's so over my damn head. I wish I had been educated. But I'm Ignat, and I ain't finished Wallace High School like I opposed to because I was 13 years old and had seven children. But really, I think Michael Bari Weiss is very constitutionally concerned about the parents of the law. Girl what? I don't know. They asked me to say something on here. I ain't got time for this. I got a headache. Plus my gummy ain't kicked in yet. Ooh, your gummies came in. Yes, girl, and they are fierce. Ooh, I'd be hallucinating. I dreamed the other day my dentist told me that all my teeth is fill out. And she said, the only way you can get your teeth back is if you go and surrender your life to Jesus. You should have did that already. I know. I don't know what I'm waiting for. They say guard is as close as your next breath. Don't get deep on me. I ain't got no Bible I can read. Sheesh. You got that coloring book I sent you. You got that, didn't you? Yeah, but I don't have enough crayons, girl. You are the most difficult woman I have ever tried to shop for. We are living in the future. I went to my dentist, who's... Texas Center for Cosmetic Dentistry, Dr. Guy Lewis. And the hygienist was out. So his son, Teddy, who's a cosmetic dentist, said, well, if this is convenient time, I'll do your cleaning. And I jokingly call Sandy, who sets the appointments back, and I said, I'll wait on the hygienist to come back. I don't want some dentist doing my hygiene. I don't want some dentist doing my cleaning. And she didn't know, you know, people are very serious. And she said, okay. And I said, well, has he ever done a cleaning before? And she said, yes, he has. And he's pretty young out of dental school. So I actually think the young guys know a lot of things that in every field, maybe the older guys don't know as much. Because they're very hands-on and they've just come out of school and they're very eager. And Dr. Lewis, his dad, is a cosmetic dentist. I mean, his job is to make your, you know, you got a rotten smile, you got teeth missing, you're discolored or, you know, crooked or whatever, and you walk out of there looking like a mouth model. One day, I called him to see what he was doing, texting him, see what he was doing.
And they were driving to an event. They were driving Miss Norway to an event. She had flown in early to have her teeth redone for the pageant. And I guess something was wrong. So she had to have a perfect grill. So he made the perfect. I don't mean like Johnny Dang. Ramon. No, perfect white, straight, the whole thing. So anyway, we are living in the future. I'm sitting in there. Nobody likes to go get a teeth cleaning. Nobody likes to go to the dentist. There's just no way around that. And there's a real pretty woman named Rachel who works there. And she sits in with you while the hygiene is her job is to keep you from spazzing out or whatever else. And I've seen that before. I have. But when they start in, so I started in on the sedation dentistry a couple years ago. And I'm not a... I'm not going to let a spasm kick in. I'm not going to be that person. I mean, I went to the dentist my entire life and I somehow suffered through it. But you forget how much you disliked it and the sharp pains and all that. And you're okay. Yeah. But it's unpleasant. Well, you do the sedation dentistry? I'm not saying it's going to the spa, but it changes everything. And so I forget what the number was. I mean, as I say it was at 40. She said, I'm going to put it at 40. Let's see how that feels, okay? Yeah. So we're at 40, and he started in, and there was a raw spot back in. I must have a nerve exposed or something. And it went, and I said, ooh, you can't talk. You know how I like to talk. You know how I like to talk. And they knew. Let's go up to 50. And that changed everything. I mean, little stuff like that makes a world a difference in your life. It did. I was grateful when I left. And then when you're done, my wife went with me, so I didn't have to drive if I didn't want to. But when you're done, I said, can I drive? And she said, yeah, let's do, we've done. We've been doing oxygen the last five minutes. Let's do five minutes more. And then you'll be, you'll be fine. And it was. I walked out like it was nothing to do it. He didn't give you sedation? Yeah, but y'all were at the Astros game. Yeah, he did save Jimmy Amy Coney Barrett's life. Do I need to remind you of that? He put some serious hamlet on Jimmy Amy Coney Barrett. Tell me Jimmy Amy Coney Barrett doesn't love him. Yeah. I like my dinner so much. I gave him a little plaque. Oh, you didn't see that, did you? You didn't see that coming? Oh, that was crept up on you, didn't it? Yeah.
You can't fix this one. 17-year-old arrested for a string of armed robberies in the West FM 1960 area. Popo say he used an electric scooter for transportation, approaching victims on foot, and producing a handgun which he pointed at their faces while demanding personal belongings. The Harris County Sheriff's Office shared that Jalon Conway, we're having Jolons at my high school, was arrested on January 8th for his role in multiple robberies in recent weeks. January 8th, the sheriff's office said, detectives saw Conway wearing all black clothing and a ski mask riding a scooter as he entered an apartment complex in the 1900 block of Sugar Pine Circle. About 10 minutes later, he got out of the complex and went toward Kirkendall before going into a nearby convenience store. During that time, detectives were notified of an aggravated robbery that had taken place involving a man matching his description. After getting out of the store, he continued. Detectives followed once... Tried to escape while riding an electric scooter. They probably chased him down on foot. It's an electric scooter, dude. A career criminal with six felony convictions. It was granted a PR bond. Six felony convictions. granted a PR bond. That's personal recognizance. That means you sign and say you'll come back. This person has committed six felonies. This is a really, really bad guy. That happened in August by a Harris County magistrate after an arrest for felony drug possession and while free on that PR bond. which means you put up no money because, you know, these are poor blacks, we're told by Rodney Ellis. That's the O'Donnell decree. These are poor blacks. You can't hold them. You got to let them go because bless their hearts. It's not even their fault. They're all innocent just on their only crime that's guilty of being poor. He was arrested for the January 9th shooting and killing of a man on a metro rail platform in Midtown. The story from Fox 26. You've got someone who's been in and out of prisons, in and out of jail, nonstop, being charged with felonies. Since 2007, Jim Jordan Lee Williams has racked up more than a dozen mugshots. In 2024, Williams was charged with two counts of aggravated assault. His bond was said at $200,000. That's legitimate based on his criminal history. Williams served nine months in jail for the felony assaults. Last August, he was charged with felony drug possession and given a...
PR bond. You had just served nine months in the county jail for two felony counts of assault. You had just gotten out. That's not what you should be given out and get out of jail free card. While free from jail on the PR bond, police say Williams shot and killed 21-year-old Kashan Humphrey. It happened on January 9th on the Metro Rail platform in Midtown. Williams also suffered gunshot wounds. Police say non-life-threatening injuries. And in that particular instance, you could argue that that decision perhaps cost Mr. Humphrey's life. And this was a magistrate. Not an elected judge. It was another magistrate decision on this. And that's what we've been seeing more and more. The individuals who are getting felony PR bonds for the most part are being granted by the magistrates. Now, Gashon Humphrey is the 221 person in Harris County to be killed allegedly at the hands of a repeat violent offender free from jail on multiple bonds since 20. In order for us to be successful. We can live with a small percentage and be very successful. And so you have to be true to yourself and hope that that lends an audience that will find you entertaining, informative, provocative, whatever that may be. But for Don Lemon, he doesn't have that anymore. He was on CNN. He didn't generate his audience. They went to CNN first for whoever was before him or whoever was after him or because that's on the airport. So he had an audience ready made, ready built. When he lost that gig, he fully understood what that meant. I now have to find a way to get people to come find me. In order to do that, I've got to do stuff that gets talked about. Crazy stuff. I got to set myself on fire figuratively, if not literally. And so that's what he started doing. Because it's the only way he can get attention. He claims that he was embedded with the group protesting at the church because now he's scared. He's going to be charged. And now he's a journalist. That's what he's doing now. But then he says this.
You heard what some of the folks said in there, you know, that this is, they shouldn't be there and, you know, they shouldn't be uncomfortable and this is our house and whatever. That's what protesting is about is to make people uncomfortable. You may not like it. You little bitch, you don't get to go into a church and make other people uncomfortable. That is not a right you have. I'm just there to make everybody uncomfortable. And that's what protesting is about. You know, where I grew up, a fellow like Don Lemon, getting in people's faces at church, would have ended very differently. He was on a podcast with his vile woman named Jennifer Welch. And he referred to the church members entitled by white supremacy. He doesn't believe that, actually. That's what's being reported, but he doesn't actually believe that. None of them do. This is what they do to be talked about later. So I guess in that sense, we're doing him a favor. And there's a certain degree of entitlement. I think people who are, you know, in religious groups like that, it's not the type of Christianity that I practice, but I think that they're entitled and that that entitlement comes from a supremacy, a white supremacy. And they think that this country was built for them, that it is a Christian country when actually we left England because we wanted religious freedom. It's religious freedom, but only if you're a Christian and only if you're a white male, pretty much. And so, yeah, I... Absolutely 100%, but it's an intimidation tactic. And, you know, I said, I don't understand how I've become the face of it when I was a journalist. I do understand that I'm the biggest name there. And I'm also, as I was on with my producers this morning, you and Kylie talk all the time, my producers were saying, I said, how did I become the face of this? And my producers said, Don, you're a gay black man in America. Good grief.
When are we January 22nd, 2026, and you're still talking about your orientation and your color, as if anybody actually cares, as if somehow that held you back in any way, shape, or form? Did you ever see Catch Me if you can, Ramon? Do you see that movie? To read the book? Book was fantastic. Movie was fantastic. Was that DiCaprio? Who was that? Yeah. Frank Abagnale. That's the guy who wrote it. They're now saying that some of what he said was a little bit of an exaggeration. I can't imagine he would exaggerate. Of all people, a former flight attendant from Canada posed as a commercial pilot. or current flight attendant to obtain hundreds of free flights from U.S. Airlines, a story from K.H.O.N. Honolulu. A former Canadian flight attendant has been charged with wire fraud for pretending to be a pilot in order to score free flights on Hawaiian Airlines and other carriers. According to a federal indictment, Dallas Pokernick of Canada worked for a Toronto-based carrier from 2017 to 2019, but was never a pilot. For years, he allegedly bilked carriers, including Hawaiian, by getting free flights under the pretense that he was a pilot, or sometimes a flight attendant. The indictment says he used a false badge associated with the Canadian airline and obtained hundreds of free flights. requesting a jump seat in the cockpit. The feds filed a motion to detain without bail, stating the defendant was extradited from Panama. What could possibly go wrong?
Michael Barry on a superior waterbed. Michelle Obama is such an evil human being, such a bitter, angry creature. She was on a podcast yesterday called Call Her Daddy. That's the name of the podcast. They usually, it's kind of a Hock Tua type setup. Which is fine. There's content for everybody. But there is Michelle Obama who, like Lina Hidalgo, ends up in a position she doesn't belong in and then gets the trappings of this position and uses it to destroy any dignity it might have once had. And she decided she would criticize society's focus on women's looks. She doesn't like that, you see? and she was there to promote her book, her new book, because they make money every time they do one of these books. There's a lot of idiots out there. The book is called The Look. And the book, quote, explores her outfits as First Lady. So she wants you to know, she wants you to buy this book about why she wore this and who made this dress and who did this. But she finds it all so disgusting. Now, buy her book. The podcast host's name is Alex Cooper. And Michelle Obama, he said to Alex Cooper, he wished the press would focus less on what he wore and more on her education and professional background. Yes, more on her education and professional background.
Obama said, quote, the top of the article would be she was wearing, not my education, not my professional career. The host agreed with her. Twelve minutes before this moment, the interview opened with, talk to me about your outfit. How did you pick it? What a little hypocrite. Good grief. It's absolutely disgusting. Speaking of disgusting, John Cornyn is now running ads as if he's the guy fighting the war against the Islamification of Texas. This is the guy, along with Dan Crenshaw, who went on the record and actively lobbied using the power of their office to bring the people of Afghanistan to Texas. Dan Crenshaw wanted him in his district, wanted him in Houston and got it. And we know what became of that. We know the crimes that have been committed. So John Wayne McCornan is about to release a new campaign ad. He may have released it as of today about President Trump's border wall. You got that, Ramon? It's 501. This is John Wayne McCornan telling you, yeah, I think we ought to go ahead and build that wall. I think that battle was fought and you lost, John Cornyn. I think you lost. Yeah, all right, here it is. When President Trump promised to build this wall, I didn't think it was possible. But Donald Trump never takes no for an answer. I voted with President Trump 99% of the time, securing funding to finish the wall and hiring 10,000 new ICE officers and thousands of Border Patrol agents. Joe Biden opened our border and stuck Texans with the bill. I work with President Trump to secure $11 billion to pay Texas back. I'm John Cornyn, and I approve this message. So now he's for the wall. But when he was saying that Donald Trump should get out of the race and America should move past Donald Trump, but he said on the record, he also said this. I can say from firsthand experience that a new giant wall between the United States and Mexico from sea to shining sea makes no sense whatsoever. Makes no sense. Makes no sense. Why would you want a wall? Because he wasn't opposed to illegal immigration. Oh, he'll jump up and do it now because it's election time. Listen to that again. Oh, the 502, the one we just played. I can say from firsthand experience that a new giant wall between the United States and Mexico from sea to shining sea makes no sense whatsoever.
Now, we have a very interesting moment ahead of us. We now have spirited primary campaigns and elections. We're no longer just trying to elect somebody who won't be as bad as the Democrats. We're now able to vote for people we actually like. We're now able to say, you can't just not be a Democrat and crap all over us and we vote for you again. Because you keep tones to Democrats worse than you are. That was the Bush era campaign. That doesn't work anymore. We don't expect you to not be as bad as them. We expect you to do what you say you'll do that gets us to the polls to vote for you. And now we have alternatives. John Cornyn is running in third, third. Behind Ken Paxton, who all his little cronies. In the state house that Carl Rove put up to doing that, they all, they gave them so much money, that little crowd. And where's Dade feeling today? Where is Drunk Dade today? Where is drunk Dade today? How did that turn out for him? They didn't have to do that. They did that to destroy Ken Paxton for John Cornyn. When you realize that people who do this for a living are always thinking three steps in advance, they want to smear you with something negative because in three or four years, you're the candidate most likely to run against their candidate. And so they got to get that on you right now. They got to mark you now so later they can go back and go, no, no, no, he's marked. Remember he was marked a few years ago? You did that. They knew exactly what they're doing. That's how they do it. And now he's in third place. You've got Ken Paxton, who they worked so hard to impeach, smear. You've got Wesley Hunt, who's only been on the scene a few years. What does it tell you that two, not one, two candidates are ahead of John Cornyn? And now he comes out yesterday and says he won't debate. He won't debate until the runoff. Okay. You won't be in it. This, if John Cornyn doesn't make the runoff and is repudiated after 20, after four terms in the Senate for selling us out for the institution. Now, he'll still go make a fortune as a lobbyist. He'll be fine. But that will be such a slap in the face like every one of Carl Rose chins will ripple. Ray Breyer's is the pipe man. He owns Pipeyard Inc. And they buy and sell pipe all day long. And I am shocked how much business we've been able to send him across the country. Entire pipelines going across three different states where they need to get the pipe pulled out. He's like, I'll pull the pipe out, I'll sell the pipe. People buying pipe, people selling pipe. The people that buy pipe are environmental managers, pipeline project managers.
Somebody that's got an abandoned pipeline that's been removed. They want the pipe yard ink. Compliance and regulatory folks, they want to get those pipes out of there. Selling pipe, folks that need carbon steel pipe, the Pipyard Inc stocks everything you need, any kind of pipe. There is stuff that people call him for, industrial stuff, that he doesn't even have, and he tracks it down. He's working his phone, and his team is working their phones all day long. He's got a yard, they've got pipe. They are working the phones to get stuff for people all day long. 409-788 pipe. 409-78 pipe. Turns out, at least according to my urologist, that all that talk about taking testosterone is bad for your prostate. That was based on one study that's been debunked. But you know what? Don't trust me. Do your own reading. Cross-reference. Learn more. Go to fixmylowtie.com. That's synergenics. That's who I use for my testosterone replacement. It makes me energetic. It makes me happy. I lost some belly fat out of it, which was really nice. And yes, it does that too. FixMylowt.com.
